World Shaking Right Now 00:05:49
If we ever forget that we're one nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under.
Where we are no longer a Christian nation.
I believe God is trying to say to this nation, I'm giving you one last merciful call.
Hello, everybody, and welcome to today's episode of Revelation in the News.
I'm Zach Drew.
And I'm Sasha Balls.
And today we have a very special guest with us, author of the famous EconomicCollapseBlog.com, Michael Snyder.
Thank you for being with us today.
Amen.
Well, it's New Year's Eve.
We're getting ready to go into 2017, and the world really is shaking right now.
It felt, honestly, I was talking before the show that when Donald Trump was elected, there was a window in time where it felt like not a great deal of shaking was taking place.
Not a great deal of prophetic news was happening.
And it kind of made it tricky for Sasha and I, because we do revelation of the news every Friday.
And then about a week ago, things started to move and the world is shaking and prophetic events are taking place right now.
And as you know, this is a half an hour show, so we're going to jump right into it.
You know, Michael, it seems like, no, I want to phrase it like this.
Should we be concerned with our relationship with Russia right now?
The current Obama administration and Russians, the Russians' government, it seems like everything is crumbling.
I mean, last week, Obama basically expelled 35 Russian diplomats from America.
This is the type of thing that we read about in history books, okay?
This is a type of thing that takes place before war happens.
What do you see?
What's happening right now?
Should we be concerned with this?
Yeah, Zach, I'm extremely concerned about what we're seeing with Russia right now because, you know, for so long, the Obama administration even mocked the idea that Russia was a threat.
I mean, let's go back to 2012.
Do you remember that famous moment in the debate between Mitt Romney and Barack Obama?
And Mitt Romney was talking about what a threat Russia was, and Barack Obama turned to him and said, hey, Mitt, the 1980s called.
They want their foreign policy back.
Do you remember that?
That was four years ago.
Now fast forward four years ago, fast forward four years, and 35 Russian diplomats are being expelled.
They're slapping more sanctions on Russia.
They're talking about conducting cyber attacks against Russia in retaliation for the supposed Russian hacking of the election.
And now everything is Russia's fault.
Have you noticed all of a sudden, you know, Hillary Clinton lost the election.
It's Russia's fault.
Oh, you know, something happened at a power station up in Vermont.
That was in the news.
Oh, the Russians did it.
Oh, I woke up with bad breath in the morning.
It's the Russians' fault.
But all of a sudden, Russia's become enemy number one.
And just over the past couple weeks, what has become basically the biggest criticism of Donald Trump?
It's, well, he's not anti-Russia enough.
He doesn't hate Russia.
So we're going to criticize him for that.
He's being criticized by Democrats and Republicans that, oh, Donald Trump wants to get along with Russia.
What's wrong with him?
You know, all of a sudden.
But this is a huge concern, Zach, because I've been warning about Russia for a very, very, very long time.
And it's been prophesied that our relationship with Russia would be good for a time, but then it would start to deteriorate.
And it would get worse and worse and worse.
And eventually down the road, not today, not right away, there's a whole series of things that have to happen.
But in the future, at some point, there will be conflict with Russia, not just political, not just economic, not just, but actually someday military conflict.
That's where it's going at the end of the road.
So actually what we're watching right now is prophecy in motion.
It's unfolding right in front of our eyes.
And those of us that know about these prophecies know what the men and women have got all over the world.
They've been prophesying for literally decades.
We know where the end result is going.
And so this is no surprise to us.
But it's kind of shocking to see how quickly, I mean, we really are in a new Cold War, Zach.
Absolutely.
You know, it honestly does.
I mean, whenever, you know, as I'm watching the news and he expels 35 Russian diplomats, I think to myself, is he purposely trying to start a war right now?
And that's what I'm thinking.
I mean, it feels like he's trying to start a war with Russia.
Now, why?
We've read articles before that, hey, Donald Trump is the New World Order's worst nightmare.
And they have till January 20th, right?
I mean, really, January 20th, they lose 50 years.
And so you've gotten to think to yourself, well, what is Obama doing?
I mean, if a war started and Trump is preoccupied with a war with Russia, well, he's not going to get done the things that he needs to get done.
Now, what a preposterous thought.
But the Obama administration is just that malicious.
And we have seen that.
I mean, the lies that come out of the White House, I mean, it's the same thing around the world.
What we're experiencing right now from the populist movement in America, you know, what was it?
The UK just experienced.
And what did the liberals in the UK experience?
They voted for the Brexit.
The Liberals in the UK blamed it on two things.
Fake news.
They handled it.
It's fake news.
And they blamed the Russians.
And I've been saying, listen, it didn't work there, and it's not going to work here.
Amen.
UN Security Council Resolution? 00:14:28
So another thing that we were talking about just recently, Sasha, we've covered on the Jim Baker show, Revelation, the news, and many people have, you know, it's in our hearts.
It's Israel.
It's our love for Israel.
And we've been warning, and the prophets have been warning, do not divide the land of Israel.
And it looks like last week that may have just happened.
Yeah, and we're seeing this right now.
And we're actually wondering, Zach and I were talking about it before the show, is what is happening?
Because right now it looks like they are and have divided the land of Israel.
And so with that, what can we expect?
What should we expect?
And why hasn't anything happened almost?
And teach us about this resolution.
It's a numbers.
It's 2334 that they passed.
What is that?
And what happens now that it's in place?
Yeah, Zach, we need to make a distinction between a UN General Assembly vote or resolution, which get passed all the time, but they're not considered to be legally binding.
And the General Assembly does something like they recently passed a bunch of anti-Israel resolutions, but people kind of ignore those.
It's not a big deal.
But when the UN Security Council does something, that's basically kind of the highest form of international law.
You can kind of think of it as if here in the United States that the Supreme Court does something, that's considered to be the highest law.
Well, the UN Security Council, that's considered kind of the highest form of international law.
Now, for decades since the days of Ronald Reagan, the U.S. government has had a policy of blocking any anti-Israel resolutions at the UN Security Council up until now, up until December 23rd.
And if people have been paying attention when I've come on the Jim Baker show or even Revelation in the news, I've been warning about what would happen potentially right here at the end of Obama's presidency about, and I called it the danger zone up to January 20th, 2017, about what could happen.
Obama might do something toward dividing the land of Israel at the United Nations.
And, you know, we had less than 30 days to go, less than a month to go until we would have got to Trump and Obama had to do it.
And so on December 23rd, right before Christmas, right?
They like to sneak in something right before the holidays.
What they did is they passed this resolution.
The vote was 14 to 0 with the U.S. abstaining.
But really, U.S. abstaining was just for show because it came down to whether the U.S. was going to veto this resolution, which they've been vetoing these anti-Israel resolutions all the way back to the days of Ronald Reagan, or if they were going to let it pass.
So the decision was solidly in the hands of Barack Obama.
It was either going to be yes or no.
And as we're finding out now, the United States behind the scenes was actually orchestrating this to get through.
Now, this resolution, UN Security Council Resolution 2334, I believe is the most important event in Bible prophecy in more than 40 years.
Wow.
That's a big statement.
Yeah, absolutely, Zach.
And you may have heard about it on the news, and they didn't really do it justice because you heard news reports say something like, oh, UN Security Council passes resolution condemning Israeli settlements.
So you may think, oh, you know, okay, that's kind of a big deal, but it's actually far, far greater than that.
Yeah, they condemned the settlements.
In fact, they said that the Israelis are that the West Bank and East Jerusalem are occupied territory.
So they called the Israelis occupiers, and they said every single settlement since 1967 is illegal and is a flagrant violation of international law.
But they went far beyond that, Zach.
If you read the resolution, and everyone in the audience, everyone watching at home, needs to read it.
Take a couple minutes of your time.
If you go to Google and type in the text of Security Council Resolution 2334, it'll take you to the Times of Israel website where you can read the thing for yourself.
What they did is they declared that it is the policy of the Security Council that there will be a state called Palestine.
So that's what the Palestinian state is going to be called, Palestine, and that there will be two states living side by side.
And they actually talked about borders.
And they said, we recognize no other borders except the 1967 borders.
And they said, you know, the two parties can negotiate changes to that, but what we recognize are the 1967 borders.
And so what they've done is they've given the Palestinians legal rights to the entire West Bank, every inch of it, and to East Jerusalem, dividing the land of Israel and also dividing the city of Jerusalem, giving East Jerusalem to the Palestinians as their capital.
So it really is a dividing of the land.
Now, but where it stopped short is it talked about the Palestinian state in a future context, as a future event.
They didn't, the one step they didn't take was to say, we have a Palestinian state right now.
We're declaring it.
We're recognizing it at this moment.
That's the additional potential step they could take.
But what they've already done is absolutely catastrophic.
And it's, you know, needless to say, the Israeli government was furious about this.
And what we've done, this is the greatest betrayal of Israel in American history.
And yet, and yet, I was listening to John Kerry talk about this, and he basically said that there hasn't been a president in U.S. history with a better relationship with Israel.
And it's crazy to think that half of the country actually believes this.
You don't understand it.
Half the country believes this.
You know, January 20th, that's what we need to be looking at, that date of January 20th.
And actually, you believe in something on January 15th.
But what Obama is going to be trying to do in his last section of his presidency, you've used the term he's scorching the earth.
Yeah.
Can you elaborate on that?
Yeah, back in ancient times, even during the Civil War, scorched earth policy was when you go in and you win a battle and you won the war, that you would just, or if you're withdrawing from an area and you didn't want the enemy to have it and enjoy the fruits of what they had just conquered, you would just burn everything, scorched earth.
And that's what we're really seeing now because traditionally when one president is elected and is coming in and another president is leaving, traditionally what you're supposed to do and what's traditionally been done is the sitting president won't really do anything new, no new policies, just kind of wrap everything up, try to make the transition smooth, make things good for the next guy, and not really mess things up.
Instead, what has Obama done?
He's taken the exact opposite approach.
All these new rules, regulations, he's signing things like crazy, and then he's severely messing up foreign policy.
And the thing with this UN Security Council resolution, the reason they rushed it through is because they know Trump won't be able to undo it.
Won't be able to undo it.
Because what happened when this UN Security Council resolution is passed, well, then it takes another one to reverse it.
So Donald Trump could try to go get the votes, but it was 14 to zero.
So, you know, the votes aren't going to be there.
But even if he could scrounge together the votes to get together the majority that he needs to pass a new resolution to reverse the other one, well, there's five sitting members of the council that have veto power.
So Russia could just say, hey, I veto it.
China could say, I veto.
U.K. or France.
Any of those four could just veto it.
So basically, they knew it was going to be impossible for Trump to undo this.
So now this is permanent international law, this resolution.
Wow, that is shocking.
And to see, we've been looking for just in news and prophecy, we have been looking at just what is going to be this major event that is going to divide the land of Israel.
Now, Michael, do you believe that this could be the event that is the beginning that will divide Israel?
Well, I think it's really, really close.
I don't know that we have a definitive answer today, whether, because so many of us, we've been waiting for the dividing of the land of Israel.
I've been talking about it for ever since I've been coming to Morningside.
I've been talking about it.
So we've been anticipating the dividing of the land of Israel.
Now, this comes real close because it does say, hey, we're giving the Palestinians every inch of East Jerusalem, every inch of the West Bank, but it doesn't formally acknowledge a Palestinian state yet.
And that's what we're watching for.
Now, there's concern another resolution may be coming potentially before January 20th.
In fact, the Israeli government, it's being reported in newspapers all over the world, is extremely concerned.
And this is where the speech with John Kerry comes in.
Because why would John Kerry get up and give a 71-minute speech if he's just blowing hot air?
Why was his speech?
Why was his speech significant?
Well, his speech is significant because, yeah, well, it's being reported that there was a meeting between John Kerry and officials in the Obama administration and the Palestinians, a secret meeting in early December, in which John Kerry said, hey, I've got this plan.
I'm willing to work with you at the UN Security Council if you're willing to go along with this.
And an Egyptian newspaper published the transcript of the meeting.
And of course, the U.S. government's denying it.
But an Egyptian newspaper was actually the one that published the transcript of this.
But there are rumors and rumblings and reports.
And according to this transcript of this meeting that was held with the Palestinians, John Kerry has a plan which will serve as a blueprint for a potential UN Security Council resolution which would formally establish a Palestinian state.
Now we've got this gathering of nations, 70 nations in Paris, France, on January 15th, which is going to address these issues.
So it was thought that John Kerry gave this speech in advance to kind of set the table, set the stage, get discussion about this blueprint going.
These 70 nations are going to gather.
Israel's already said they're not going to participate.
These 70 nations are going to gather together, talk about these problems, and it's feared by the Netanyahu government, they're really freaked out about this, that what is decided at that conference on January 15th could be used as the basis for a UN Security Council resolution, which would then be rushed for a vote between January 15th and January 20th when Donald Trump comes in, formally establishing and recognizing a Palestinian state, getting the two-state solution in stone before Donald Trump can take power.
Wow.
You know, it is, that's so crazy.
So mark that on your calendars, January 15th.
It really is.
It's crazy to think that this past eight years that our relationship with all of our allies have diminished.
They've started to crumble.
But the relationships with our enemies, our very enemies, are flourishing.
And I just really think it goes to show what the true heart and nature of Obama and what he was trying to do.
I mean, try to name one good thing that he has done for the Christian community.
One nice thing that he's said about Christians.
And then to think that this is the first time a president has ever not vetoed this.
And ultimately, on January 15th, there's a chance that he could literally be giving part of Jerusalem away.
Yeah, well, Zach, I'll name one good thing that Barack Obama did, one good decision.
It was actually in September 2015.
You guys remember September 2015?
It was the end of the Shemitah year, the last of the blood moons.
The Pope was coming to America.
It was Agenda 2030.
The global goals being, you know, all at the United Nations was being signed.
All these things were happening, but also in that, and people, everyone, had the ministry, everyone, Christians all over the country were expecting, oh, is this it?
Is this the big event?
Because we had seen the greatest financial shaking that we had seen in seven years in August.
And so people were saying, oh, September, it's really all going to break loose.
But perhaps the biggest thing of all, in September 2015, France had a resolution all ready to go at the U.N. Security Council, which would have divided the land of Israel, established a Palestinian state, given them East Jerusalem as their capital.
Many of the things that this most recent resolution did, but would have gone all the way and established a Palestinian state.
But they were ready to go with it.
And the Obama administration had consulted on this and had been working on this.
And so the decision, and just like now, the decision was going to be in Obama's hands whether this was going to go or not.
And at that time, the Obama administration said, no, we're not doing it, at least not yet.
Maybe they didn't want to mess things up for the election the following November, you know, whatever the reason.
But one time, Obama lined up with the Word of God.
And at that point, I believe America's reprieve began.
There's been a lot of talk about America's reprieve and the election of Trump and whatever.
But the truth is America's reprieve began in September 2015.
America blessed Israel by blocking this resolution at the United Nations, defending the land of Israel, keeping it from being divided.
And so the word of God says those that bless Israel will be blessed.
Those that curse Israel will be cursed.
A lot of times we focus on the curses, but in this instance, we blessed Israel.
So according to the Word of God, we would be blessed.
So from September 2015 up until now, we have been blessed.
But now that blessing has been turned into a curse because we betrayed Israel at the United Nations on December 23rd.
And it could possibly come completely official on January 15th.
So I think the question that I'm asking, and probably many of you in the audience, well, we've learned that whenever we do horrible things to Israel, actually, William Koenig wrote a book about it.
It's called Eye to Eye.
And he has outlined the most costliest, most horrific natural disasters that have ever hit America often came within 24 hours to 48 hours after we betrayed Israel.
So should we be expecting catastrophe in America?
Because another thing I want to say is that the level or the degree that we did something or put pressure on Israel, it was to that level or that degree of the catastrophe that happened on U.S. soil.
We have never done anything like what we just did to Israel.
Should we be expecting the most horrific catastrophe that we've ever seen?
Last Day Division Predictions 00:07:57
Well, Zach, if the pattern holds up.
Now, of course, we can't put God in a box because, you know, just because God's done things a certain way doesn't mean he will necessarily do them exactly the same way in the future.
But the pattern, we've seen the pattern, Zach.
For example, the last time that the U.S. government did not veto an anti-Israel resolution at the U.N. Security Council was in 1979, Jimmy Carter, March 22nd, 1979.
Nothing happened immediately within 24 or 48 hours, and actually, nothing happened for four days.
Four days later, the Egypt-Israeli peace treaty was signed in Washington, D.C.
We all remember those images.
Those of us that were around then, which doesn't include Zach and Sasha, they were too young, but those of us that were around, we remember.
So that was March 26, 1979.
Two days after that, there was a little incident called Three Mile Island, the biggest nuclear power plant disaster in all of U.S. history ever before or ever since struck.
So that was under President Carter.
Let's look at another president, President George Herbert Walker Bush, the first George Bush.
1991, he got the Jewish people, the Israeli government, the Palestinians, the Arab nation surrounding it, everyone together in Madrid, Spain, for a peace conference.
And the goal was to divide the land of Israel.
And so, and President Bush went to open the address and to tell the Israelis, hey, territorial compromise is essential for peace.
That was in the New York Times one day in 1991.
The very next day, there was a story about how the perfect storm, I talked about this last night, which traveled 1,000 miles the wrong direction, once in a lifetime storm, made a beeline for Kennebunkport, Maine, 35-foot waves slamming into his home.
So he's telling Israel about how they need to divide their land.
The very next day, his land is being hit by this tremendous disaster.
Or, fast forward to 1998, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu comes to the White House, very coldly received.
The Clintons are very upset with him because he doesn't want to divide up the land.
In fact, Bill Clinton doesn't even have lunch with him when he arrives because he's just treating him so badly because he won't agree to divide the land.
That very day, a little scandal involving a young lady named Monica Lewinsky broke.
Wow.
That same day.
That exact same day.
Wow.
From then forward, the Clinton presidency went into a tailspin from what it would never recover after that.
So did future presidents learn a lesson?
No.
George W. Bush, you know, he said, I'm going to try to divide the land of Israel.
So he goes and convinces the Jewish people, the Israeli government, to pull the settlers out of Gaza, saying this will bring peace with Gaza.
Of course, that didn't work.
But what happened is that the very last day, the last of the settlers were pulled out of the Gaza Strip and it was turned over to the Palestinians, August 23rd, that exact day, a little storm called Katrina started forming over the Bahamas, became this horrible hurricane, made a beeline for New Orleans, and it was the costiest and worst natural disaster in all of U.S. history.
So did Barack Obama say, Oh, I'm learning from all that?
No.
2011.
2011, he gave a speech in which he said, Israel, you've got to pull out of the West Bank, out of East Jerusalem, and return to pre-1967 borders.
Three days later, we saw a half-mile-wide tornado, EF5 tornado, the costliest tornado in all of U.S. history, rip through Joplin, Missouri, causing just immense, horrible devastation.
So those are just five examples from five different presidents, but there are literally, as Zach said, there are dozens and dozens of these examples that people have documented, but we're still not learning our lesson.
Yeah.
Absolutely.
I think William Koenig is actually up to over one.
His book, I to Eye, I think there was over 50, between 50 and 60.
But he says that there is now over 100 examples of something taking place to America in a bad way after we put pressure on Israel.
Well, and that's where we have to pay attention to God and what he said about his people of Israel.
And that's where right now, just to sum up this conversation, why do you believe, truly, why do you believe that this division of Israel, the land of Israel, is the most important market to watch right now?
Yeah, I've been describing it as the most important prophetic marker that we're watching for for a very long time.
And the reason is, is for years and years, men and women of God all over the country and all over the world, actually, what they've been hearing from God, that when we divide the land of Israel and a Palestinian state is established, that really bad things come after that.
For example, one of the things I'm going to actually talk about in the New Year's Eve service here at Morningside, and we're going to talk about on future shows, is that so many of these men and women of God have all seen that the division of the land of Israel and the Palestinian state come first, and after that, there is going to be an enormous, gigantic, historic earthquake along the New Madrid Fault, which will divide our land.
And so, and this is just not one or two or three people, but as I'll show as we move forward, there's a whole host of men and women of God that have prophetic track records that have seen that.
But that's not the only event.
We also know that the division of the land of Israel comes before the great war in the Middle East that's coming.
A horrible, bloody, terrible war between Israel and her neighbors, unlike anything we've ever seen before, is coming.
But the division of the land of Israel comes first.
Men and women of God all over the world have also seen that a great tsunami is coming to the east coast of the United States.
A historic tsunami where in some areas it'll be actually hundreds of feet tall.
Like if you've seen the movie Deep Impact, kind of like that, where it comes in, washes miles inline, death and destruction.
Much worse than what we saw in Japan, if you remember that tsunami in the footage there.
But they've seen that that comes after the division of the land of Israel.
So this really is the gateway prophecy we're watching for.
The most important prophetic marker.
Because, you know, if this doesn't happen, then we can say, oh, maybe we can relax a little bit because these really, really bad things are not going to happen for a while.
That's why we were hoping that, okay, Obama would go.
We could get to Trump and he wasn't going to do this and we could have a little bit of time.
But now that Obama's taking action on this, this might bring a lot of these things a lot closer than perhaps people were originally anticipating.
Wow.
We are living in some prophetic times.
We are.
And right now, we have to, and I just want to encourage anybody that's watching this broadcast, anybody that's in this audience, we need to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
We need to stand together as a church.
We need to unify and pray for the peace of Jerusalem because right now we're at such a tipping point at a crucial time where we can go one way or another.
And right now, God can intervene.
There is still hope.
There is still so much more left to do.
But right now, we have to pray that God's will is done in this whole situation and that the hearts will be turned and that no matter what, God's wisdom is in all of this situation.
Wow.
Well, it looks like that's going to do it for today's episode of Revelation in the News.
Michael, do you have any final words or final thoughts before we leave the program today?
Yeah, I sure do, Zach.
You know, a lot of people, they've kind of assumed now that Donald Trump's won the election, that everything is going to be great and wonderful.
All of our troubles are over.
But the truth is, you know, now that we divided the land of Israel, America's gone from being under a blessing to being under a curse.
Now, hopefully Donald Trump can come in and start blessing Israel like crazy and Congress can, and we can get back on the other side of the equation.
But people need to realize these are prophetic times.
Jesus is coming back.
The return of Jesus Christ has not been canceled.
It's not been postponed.
It is coming.
We are living in the last days.
People need to get ready.
Amen.
Amen.
Wow.
Wasn't this great?
Let's hear it from Michael Snyder.
Thank you, Michael.
Right on.
Well, this has been Revelation in the News.
