| Hello and thank you for tuning into the Backstage Show with Ricky and Marie. | |
| Today we have a special guest. | |
| She has been in ministry full-time for over 45 years. | |
| She is the founder of the Mighty Warriors program and she has also spread the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the whole entire world with her team of family. | |
| We have Miss Nancy Harmon with us today. | |
| Hi, so Nancy, what is it like traveling? | |
| Ricky was saying you've been traveling all over the world. | |
| How is that for you? | |
| Well, I started when I was 28 and now I'm older and I really enjoyed it. | |
| I've loved it. | |
| I've been, I'm going in my 46th year now and I've been halfway around the world in person live and then television everywhere, of course. | |
| That's awesome. | |
| So what is it like working with the young people? | |
| Oh my goodness. | |
| The greatest thing about young people is when they first come to Mighty Warriors, they come very intimidated, shy, and to watch the change in their life, Ricky. | |
| That's awesome. | |
| It's just awesome. | |
| So when you travel, do you do revivals or do you sing? | |
| For our audience who doesn't know, can you just give them a quick bio on who you are? | |
| Sure. | |
| I'm a singer. | |
| I'm a composer. | |
| I'm a minister. | |
| I'm a teacher. | |
| I'm a mentor of youth. | |
| But when I sing in our services, we always start with singing. | |
| And we're still incorporating some of the old songs and the new. | |
| We bridge the gap. | |
| That's awesome. | |
| So what can we expect to hear from you today on the Jim Baker show? | |
| Well, I will be singing. | |
| I will be loving these people with the Holy Spirit that's in my heart. | |
| And I'll be hugging your dad. | |
| That's awesome. | |
| Okay, so like your ministry has always been, I think for the most part, you've been more toward an older generation. | |
| Do you think with having the Mighty Warriors, it's like build a bridge between the young now and the older? | |
| Oh, yeah. | |
| Even the children, the children will run to me in churches. | |
| It's a gifting. | |
| When God gives you a gift, you know you can reach out like that. | |
| And there's no barrier between ages with us. | |
| That's awesome. | |
| So like, what is the Mighty Warriors? | |
| What can you say? | |
| Is it just a program that they're going to do? | |
| It's a student training program. | |
| And they come, anybody that's interested in their God assignment for their life from ministry. | |
| And they come and they spend five weeks with me on the road every July. | |
| How do you choose the students that get to travel with you? | |
| They're pastor recommended. | |
| They come from a church and the pastor recommends them that they are interested in ministry. | |
| That's awesome. | |
