Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Arrested 00:06:22
Welcome to Making Sense of the Madness.
I am Jason Burmese and for the next hour we're going to be talking to Ed Dowd and Brett Mauser on the topics of RFK Jr., the heart conditions and beyond that seem to be occurring from the hate and lies shots and cultural Marxism in media.
Buckle up and get ready to make sense of the madness.
Tonight, newly released video of a man being arrested at a campaign event for presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., his team posting it to TikTok after Kennedy's speech last night in Los Angeles.
The campaign saying the man showed up at a door to the event carrying a loaded pistol, wearing what appeared to be a U.S. Marshal badge, and asking to be taken to the candidate.
The campaign alleging that security also found a backpack with another handgun, knives, and ammunition before calling police.
Tattoos on his arms, neck, and hands, wearing an EMT shirt holding a U.S. Marshals badge, has a gun on a shoulder holster.
LA Police telling us they arrested 44-year-old Adrian Ispuro.
He's accused of carrying a concealed weapon.
My name is Adrian Paul Ispuro.
This video posted to TikTok back in July.
Police say Ispuro never drew his gun or threatened anyone at Kennedy's event.
The incident happening just miles from where Kennedy's father was shot and killed during his own presidential bid in 1968.
Five years earlier, JFK was shot to death in Dallas, the family's tragic history partly driving RFK Jr.'s request for Secret Service protection, a request the campaign says has been twice denied.
Former Secret Service agent Ebby Pompurus says those requests could now be worth another look.
In the decision-making process of whether or not he should get protection.
My humble opinion, I think he should.
You have enough factors here showing vulnerability, showing that there's danger to his life.
And Aaron, do we now know whether Kennedy will now be getting Secret Service detail?
Well, Jose Kennedy's campaign said today that it now plans to make a third request for Secret Service.
It's worth noting that most candidates don't get that protection at this point in the campaign cycle.
And Jose, the suspect in this case, is being held on a $35,000 bail.
It's absolutely insane to insinuate in any way, shape, or form that he should have been denied both requests for Secret Service protection.
Robert F. Kennedy is polling well beyond what Joe Biden could dream of.
He's obviously the more popular candidate, and he's a threat to the establishment because he is the only one up there talking about vares and talking about the adverse reactions from these shots.
To talk about that and much more is Ed Dowd.
Ed, you're actually involved in this campaign.
Is there any update on Secret Service protection at the moment?
Not that I've heard, but let's just talk about this for a second.
It was said in the cold open there that Secret Service is not provided at this point in campaigns.
Obama had Secret Service at this point, and there's other examples of it.
There's definitely a family history here.
There's an obsession with the Kennedys.
And at this point, to deny Secret Service is to basically say, not only do we want to deny it to Bobby Kennedy, we're going to put in danger people at these events that could be injured by any attempted assassination.
So, you know, you're not only endangering Bobby Kennedy, you're endangering other citizens as well.
Well, I think it's absolutely ludicrous.
Like you stated, Obama had Secret Service protection.
They're trying to run a campaign right now where essentially Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has no chance at getting the delegates or the votes to be the nominee via the primary process.
That's in the works with this guy.
They're bleeding him dry financially with his own payments on his own security that thankfully got this gentleman.
What is the next step for the campaign?
Because it is wildly popular, yet the Democratic Party seems to want no debates and no other candidate out there other than Joe Biden.
Well, the good news is that I'm the co-treasurer on the campaign and the money is coming in from small donations.
And so we're able to pay for the security, the private security that we have right now.
So things are okay.
We'd love to get more donations to support Bobby, but we're not underwater, even though his private security is very expensive.
And the Secret Service issue, in my humble opinion, is a joke.
And it's a message received on our side of the aisle here.
So these people need to do the right thing and give us protection and give Bobby protection.
So how did you get involved in the campaign?
Obviously, on the issue of the vaccine, your views and his overlap.
And he simply is the only candidate that is stating the facts via these shots forcefully.
I met Bobby before he decided to run.
He wrote the foreword to my book, Cause Unknown, The Epidemic of Sudden Death in 21 and 22.
And, you know, I supported Trump the prior two elections.
I can't support Trump at the moment because he still has not admitted that the vaccine is a problem and Operation Warp Speed was a problem.
So Bobby and I are aligned on that issue.
Bobby also is about freedom of speech, First Amendment protection, which without that, we don't have a country.
And he's also against medical authoritarianism, medical freedom.
We don't agree on all the issues, but without those issues, if we don't have those issues, we don't have a country.
So the platform he's running on is freedom first.
And if we don't have that, we don't have a nation.
So all these other little other issues that we used to disagree upon, they're what I call high-class issues.
Excess Mortality Trends 00:14:52
We can get to those later after we reestablish the rule of law and freedom of speech and medical autonomy.
Well, I'd have to absolutely agree with you on that.
And your book was looking at these deaths in 2021 and 2022.
We're well into 2023.
What are the numbers showing us?
So we started updating some 23 numbers.
We're in the process of doing that.
My partners at Finance Technologies.
And a lot of our information is found on our website, financetechnologies.com, spelled with a PH instead of an F.
The 2023 numbers we just dropped for the UK.
It's not looking good.
Younger people, 15 through 44, accelerated to a new all-time high in excess mortality of 20%.
They were 16% in 21.
They dipped down to 11% excess mortality.
And then they've gone to a new all-time high on the 2023 numbers that we've annualized at this point with six months of data.
The younger age cohort in the UK, 1 through 14, is even more dire.
Their excess mortality actually went down during 2020 and 2021 due to lockdowns because accidental death is the biggest cause of excess or of mortality in that age group.
And with lockdowns and school closures, there's less movement, so less accidents.
Then the vaccine was introduced in the fall of 2021 and their excess mortality started rising.
It's now at 22% on annualized 2023 numbers.
So young people continue to die excessively, and it's a tragedy.
We just dropped yesterday a new report out of data with data from the UK on cardiovascular excess deaths, and we found a very strong signal.
There's been a 44% rise in cardiovascular events above normal in ages 15 through 44 in the UK in 2022.
That's a standard deviation of 10 and a half, which in my world is what we call a black swan event.
So all these anecdotal stories you're hearing of sudden deaths, we now have a signal that shows it's not just anecdotal.
It's in the numbers.
So let's talk about the numbers, because when you're talking about 20 plus percent increases, how unprecedented is that in modern history?
Well, I'll use the words of an insurance CEO who stated on a business commerce meeting in Indiana, Scott Davidson of One America in, I think, January of 2022 was on a Chamber of Commerce meeting, and he said that in his book of business in 2021, in the second half, he was seeing 40% excess claims, death claims in his business.
And they said that was across the industry.
That later on was verified, 40%.
He said a 10% increase is a three-standard deviation event or a once in a 200-year flood.
40% is just crazy off the charts.
And just to give your audience an idea what standard deviation means, it's a way of observing things from the average.
And just to give you an idea of how rare three plus standard deviation events are, a 3.84 standard deviation event is the same as you getting hit by lightning once in your lifetime.
So it's rare.
And anything above five is crazy.
And I just told you that the cardiovascular standard deviation was 10 and a half.
So we're talking about things that are not happening by accident.
They're way off the rails from norm.
Now, when you're talking about these increases, are these from year to year or the normal?
So in other words, are they compounding?
Are they getting exponentially worse?
And then within that research, are you finding people more damaged that took multiple shots or are continuing to take the shots?
So we measure a couple things.
So we establish a baseline trend.
And when we talk about excess, we're talking from normal trend, usually five to 20 years, depending upon the data set we're working with.
In the cardiovascular data that I just talked about, I think it's a 10-year trend.
And it's just off the charts.
The excess cardiovascular deaths was actually trending down.
It was 10 about 10 years ago, 10 per 100,000, got down to 8, now it's back up to 11 in 2022.
And these increases are accelerating, unfortunately.
And we expect for 2023, given that excess mortality has exploded, all cause excess mortality in this age group, we expect cardiovascular events to be even higher in 2023.
We don't have the data yet.
Extremely alarming.
What can people do if they are now aware of this?
Is there anything physically they can do?
Because we have people like Dr. Peter McCullough that obviously haven't given up hope and are speaking in front of the EU now about many of these adverse events.
Can't speak about it here.
But what can people do that now realize they have been negatively affected and may have a heart condition or worse?
Well, even if you don't have a heart condition and you were not negatively affected, it's probably a good idea to get on the protocols that Dr. Peter McCullough is talking about.
You know, I wrote the book Cause Unknown for my loved ones to convince them that they should not go forward with boosters.
And I was able to convince all my loved ones.
So unfortunately, you know, like many families, I'm a divorced dad.
My children got vaccinated.
My ex-wife got vaccinated.
My dad, my brother.
Well, the good news is they're no longer getting boosters or some of them didn't even get boosters.
But I've convinced them to get on the protocols that Dr. Peter McCullough is advising, even though they've had no adverse impacts, thankfully.
I said to them, it's a good idea, just in case your body's still producing the spike protein, which seems to be the cause of all these issues.
They're on it.
So the hope is you can do something about this once you're aware of the problem.
If you're not aware of the problem, you're going to go to your doctor or your loved one's going to go to the doctor and the doctor's going to say, oh, you have XYZ.
Here's a solution for XYZ symptom rather than going after the underlying cause, which is the spike protein, which you need to shut down or detoxify from your body.
So there's hope coming.
There's work being done.
There's protocols to do.
So that's my message is even if you're not injured and you took the vax, start getting on some of these protocols.
They're over-the-counter supplements taken in unison are having some impact in helping people even that are adversely impacted.
We've got to take a break, but when we come back, I want to talk about media narratives and how they've shifted this narrative that COVID is actually causing these adverse events.
And it cannot and will not be the shot.
We've got a today show clip for you on the other side.
It's making sense of the madness.
We're joined by Ed Dowd of Finance Technologies.
We'll be back after this.
Banks are supposed to be the safest placeholders for cash in the world.
But in 2022, that changed.
The Federal Reserve pulled out $2.5 trillion of liquidity out of the banks, and the Fed also changed the requirements so banks don't need to keep any funds on hand.
This means banks are starved for liquidity and have now become very dangerous places to hold your assets.
Get out of the system with the world's safest and most private assets, silver and gold.

For emergency crews like this one, responding to heart problems is a matter of life and death.
We've just been called out to a report of a cardiac arrest at a convalescent hospital.
Since the COVID-19 pandemic began, LA County paramedics say they've been busier than ever with calls like this one, transporting a cardiac arrest patient.
County health officials have tracked notable increases in cardiac arrests and heart attacks since the pandemic began.
And experts say it's part of a broader trend.
Now, that's actually a six-plus minute piece where they continually hammer home that it is COVID that is causing these heart conditions, sudden heart attacks, even a day after couldn't be the shot.
No, no, no.
And they actually make statements with their expert at the end where they say you are 11 times more likely to get myocarditis from COVID than the shot.
When you see propaganda like that, Ed, how do you combat it?
And what are your thoughts?
Well, first of all, I would just want to go back to 2021, 2022, the winter of 21 and 20 and 22.
I came out with data that showed millennials were dying excessively off-cause mortality.
I was fact-checked by Reuters and AP that had experts, quote-unquote experts, they were unnamed, saying that Ed Dowd's information is wrong and millennials are not dying excessively.
So at first, they tried to deny that the phenomenon was going on.
You roll forward to now, the bodies keep piling up and continue and are accelerating.
So now they're admitting a problem, but it's anything but the vaccine.
And it's ludicrous.
So in 2020, COVID was raging across the land without a vaccine.
And statistically, it killed mostly old people.
The 500,000 excess deaths in 2020 were predominantly old, people with comorbidities.
And we also know that a lot of the COVID deaths were fraudulently put on death certificates to get government goodies.
So there's a problem there.
But then magically in 2021, the virus decided to go after younger age folks, especially in the second half of 21 after mass vaccination.
And it went after particularly the employed of our country, not the whole country, but just the employed.
I've proven without a doubt that being employed was detrimental to your health from a disability standpoint and a death standpoint in 21 and 22 and continues in 23.
So the virus is very tricky and seems to go after those who are mostly employed, apparently.
So this on its face is a joke.
And the mere fact that they won't even talk about the vaccine and they're throwing off propaganda numbers like it's 11 times more likely COVID will give you myocarditis than the vaccine is on its face a bald lie.
Well, the matter is that this virus quickly mutated in a manner that it was less lethal.
And really it was the protocols within the hospitals that caused more damage than the virus itself.
Again, not allowing people actual preventative or proactive treatment.
And that's why I do think it's important that people, whether or not they got the shot, be prepared with the types of medications that could shield you from this virus were it to return.
And we are hearing that at least the mandates may be returning.
What are your thoughts there?
Because we are seeing movements in the East Coast and over on the West Coast in California to bring back masks in some schools and also in some hospitals.
So this attempt to bring back mandates, masks, and even vaccines is not just a U.S. phenomenon.
It's coordinated globally.
I'm hearing about these types of administrative events all over.
So for me, this looks like a cover-up of the excess mortality and disabilities that are starting to rack up in the numbers.
We had an acceleration of disabilities in June in the U.S.
We already had an acceleration with the initial rollout of the vaccine.
We added 3.2 million disabled individuals in nine or about 18 months and half of them were employed.
In June of 23, we went up another million.
So we have about 4.2 million disabled Americans since vaccine rollout.
And I think this is a coordinated cover-up of the abomination that is the vaccine.
And they want to use COVID as an excuse to cover up what are really right now, the numbers we're seeing are so bad.
There should be, the pandemic's over.
And the question is, if it is COVID and it was doing this, we should be having pandemic alerts right now.
We're not because it's not COVID and COVID is not affecting those of us who aren't.
I mean, you can get COVID if you're unvaccinated, but you're not going to go drop dead.
So, you know, you've talked about all those injuries.
We've talked about the RFK Jr. campaign.
What are some of the solutions he's offering once he gets into office?
Well, he's going to, he's the enemy of the bureaucratic state, the permanent state.
He's going to dismantle these bureaucracies.
I mean, Trump said he wanted to do it, but unfortunately, Trump, for whatever reason, didn't get it done.
And Bobby has worked fighting these agencies through his environmental law firm for years, and he wants to basically remake them.
And so the policy number one is the bureaucratic state needs to be dismantled because it's been 40, 50 years of bureaucrats running the show, gathering power and money and greed and running these agencies as if they're their own little fiefdoms to enrich themselves, basically.
Fauci is enemy number one on that front.
So you mentioned that you wrote the book to try to convince your family to think otherwise with these shots.
You've talked about small donations being the crux of the funding of the RFK Jr. campaign.
I'm of the belief that we've got to stop looking to heroes and we've really got to look in the mirror to see what we can do and how we can prepare, navigate, and really further the human agenda.
So how can people get involved?
What should they be doing?
Why Appearance Trumps Thought 00:16:03
I agree with you.
I've been saying since this fiasco began, I came to the realization it's about team humanity.
It's not about red team, blue team, you know, gay, straight, black, white.
This is about a fight for your own freedom and the ability to take your own health into your own hands.
And the governments of the world want to take that away from you.
And if that happens, we're done as a planet, in my humble opinion.
So we all have to take responsibility, spread this information, get involved in local politics if you can.
And when I say politics, agendas that favor freedom, not more rules and regulations.
So, you know, if you don't want to support Bobby, go support someone locally that you align with.
Get this information out there.
Understand that there are solutions to this tragic event that has occurred that's going to be with us for decades to come and will affect our global economies for years to come.
So we all have to get together, cast aside all of our prior little groups that we're in, and just realize we're all humans and we all matter.
Well, I think that you're right in identifying this as global.
And to me, this is the global second civil rights movement because this is the one that matters.
You mentioned medical autonomy.
If we don't have the Fourth Amendment right, if you will, to be secure in our persons and properties, literally our biological selves, we have no rights, no matter what facade of a First Amendment or otherwise they say we have.
And we're seeing that First Amendment being squashed further and further through these tech companies.
We just saw, for instance, YouTube announce that they are actually going to expand their medical misinformation policy through the World Health Organization and their authoritarian, I mean, their authoritative viewpoints.
I mean, trust the science.
So how do we manage?
I know there are other platforms out there like Rumble.
I know there are networks like this one, AMP, but don't we have to get back to that ground-based discussion face-to-face and not just be keyboard warriors as well?
I agree with that.
You have to have conversations around the dinner table with your colleagues, with your loved ones.
But the good news is I do believe some of these alternative platforms, though tiny at the moment, are going to experience phenomenal growth.
I'll give you an anecdote from back in the day when I was a stock picker on Wall Street.
You know, we used to own Yahoo in our portfolio.
And this is when Google wasn't as big as it is today.
And it wasn't a known fact that Google would dominate.
It was still an open field of who would be the search engine.
And I was talking to a young woman out at the, when I was taking my son out to the park, and she was like, I think 22.
I'm, you know, in my 40s.
And I say, hey, so did you Yahoo that?
And she said, what's Yahoo?
And I said, what do you mean?
She's like, I don't even know what you're talking about.
I use Google.
And that's when I realized that Google was going to win because the young people were all over Google.
My son is using Rumble now.
And he asked me, hey, dad, have you heard about Rumble?
Have you heard about Rumble?
And I said, well, I'm all over Rumble.
But yeah, it's just good to know they're abandoning these platforms because they can't find anything interesting on there anymore.
They even said at the conversation I was with my son and a couple of his friends, they said, YouTube used to be great, but now it's boring.
We have to go to Rumble.
So that is the future.
They're going to choke on their own censorship and they will, over time, lose market share.
So this will slowly correct itself over time.
I believe in the free market.
Well, I hope the free market of ideas is out there.
Obviously, Rumble is one of the major tools.
And even though I'm no fan of Elon Musk, Twitter has opened up a little bit.
We talked about the numbers.
We talked about the modern numbers.
Are there any plans for a follow-up to your book?
And what will that include?
There's going to be a new printing that includes some of the celebrity and athlete sudden deaths in 2023.
We'll update the metadata later, but there's going to be a new printing coming out that's going to be telling cause unknown epidemic of sudden deaths in 21 and 22 and 23.
But we'll update the data in another version down the road.
But there's going to be, I mean, this is a continuing saga.
The book came out in December of 2022.
It's, you know, nine months forward.
Our website, Finance Technologies, has put out a tremendous amount of reports, vaccine damage report, the UK disability report, the UK Cardiovascular Report, absence work time lost report.
So the data at this point is a joke.
Something's gone off the rails health-wise across the globe.
Obviously, I blame the vaccine until otherwise notified.
And no one seems to want to debate us or talk about it.
They just blame everything else but the vaccine.
Yeah, they just hammer you with Bernesian talking points.
Ed, what would you like to leave the audience with and where can we find your stuff?
You can find me on Twitter at DowdEdward, D-O-W-D-Edward, getter at EdwardDowd, financetechnologies.com, spelled with a P-H.
The book is found on amazon.com.
And this is what I like to leave people with.
Everyone needs to become, you can no longer just watch this from the sidelines.
Everyone has to participate.
Everyone has to get this information out there.
Because if we don't prevent people from continuing to get boosters, we're going to be dealing with a large portion of our populace that's sick and dying.
And that will divert precious resources from the rest of us trying to live our lives.
So it's not just about you being safe from not taking the vaccine.
You have to help others.
And that's what I encourage.
Even if those who don't want to hear, you have to tell them the message.
Absolutely.
And you don't have to be negative or derogatory.
I always tell people, try to find a point of agreement first.
Work your way out.
Be calm.
Let them know you're not their enemy.
And really, let's just have this human experience together and say, hey, I want to be your friend.
And we need to work through this because there are some very anti-human people out there that are really carrying out this agenda, Ed.

From all of us here at MyPillow, we are back, and Brett Mauser is the author of Broken Lens: the Marxist Plot to Kill Journalism.
Brett, thank you so much for joining us.
For those not familiar with your story, you were a whistleblower within the media industry that went forward and talked about this diversity and equity training that was forced upon you while you were in the mainstream media and really warned people what they were watching on the mainstream media was indeed not reality.
In fact, I think it's part of the post-truth world.
Brett, thanks for joining us.
Tell people how you wrote this book.
Well, of course, like you said, I was working at Ken's, which was a company of Sassidia Techna, and we had received diversity and equity, inclusivity training.
And I never considered myself a journalist.
It was sort of something that I fell into.
I always was interested in filmmaking and videography and such like that.
But I did have an utter respect for journalism.
It was the fourth pillar of society.
It was there to protect us from the other branches and overreaching government.
And they were the watchdogs.
So I always respected journalism.
And as I moved throughout the years watching the local news just get become more and more propaganda rather than journalism, these companies would just take the press releases or the official statement from the government and just regurgitate it and not do any of their own research.
It started to concern me.
And then when we here in San Antonio, we had a voter fraud case pop up.
Project Veritas had covered it.
And I sent an email up the chain to say, hey, are we going to cover this?
This is pretty important.
This is the election's right around the corner.
Are we going to do anything?
And a few days later, I got an email back saying, oh, that's a hoax.
It doesn't, it's not real.
You know, and then, of course, slamming Project Veritas.
Oh, they just do a bunch of hoaxes, et cetera, et cetera.
And that was what spawned me to step forward and contact Project Veritas.
And then while I was sort of undercover with them, we had some diversity training and watching the ethics and the mandates of journalism, basically that you learn in college, the journalism ethics, basically being thrown out the window.
Objectivity was no longer supposed to be at the forefront of journalism.
It was more about diversity.
And it didn't matter about the diversity of opinion.
It was if you've got, it was more important to have two unlike people, you know, two ethnicities on there rather than the two different opinions.
And that concerned me.
So I recorded the journalism training that they were putting us through, which was putting diversity and equity above the truth, above the above journalism itself.
You basically had HR people coming in and telling journalists how to do their job.
And that concerned me.
And it was during this training that I was just, it just kind of popped in out of nowhere because I had been aware of Marxism and had been studying it, you know, know thy enemy.
And I started seeing all these, I started seeing how much they mirrored each other.
And it just while in the middle of the training, I went, oh my God, this is Marxism, especially when they were telling us to put everybody in boxes, divide everybody by age, by race, by, and then list what was more important to you, race or age.
It's like, not only is this teaching and practicing Marxism, this is teaching racism and sexism and teaching you to be, you know, to put people in these boxes.
So that was a major concern of mine.
And that's what brought this on.
In terms of writing the book, after these training segments, I would come back to the station with my and talk to my fellow employees about it.
And several of them would say, well, I don't see that as Marxism.
I don't understand.
I don't think that's, you know, I don't see that.
And that's when I decided that I needed to write a book.
And that's where the book came from was basically explaining why CRT, why DEI, why this movement is Marxism.
If you hold the tenants up right next to each other, they're photocopies.
It's exactly the same thing.
And then it was also important for me in the book to explain why Marxism is bad.
Because of course, at the surface, there's going to be a lot of people that say, oh, that's a good idea.
I like the idea of that.
But when you delve down into it and start looking historically at it and what the actual beliefs of the ideology are, how dangerous and how evil it is.
And that was the necessity for me to come out with this book.
And I felt like I needed to stand up.
Project Veritas was one thing to be able to stand up and speak out against it.
But there's only so much you can do in a 10-minute newspiece.
So I wanted to put in all the other things that Project Veritas was unable to use, explain the different things that I had seen, the manipulation in the news, and bring the receipts.
Everything that's in there, I have undercover video of.
I have the emails.
I have the recordings of the news broadcasts.
So I wanted to make sure that I had the proof and the evidence along with it.
We love the receipts here.
And before we get into the tenets of Marxism and really the parallels with this equity and diversity, I want to hone in on something you said.
It was more important to get people that looked a certain way than thought a certain way.
And this is the complete opposite, in my opinion, in what?
Judging somebody based on the content of their character and not the color of their skin, like Dr. Martin Luther King spoke of.
I mean, it's the complete opposite.
And inherently, to me, that should ring with negative and quite frankly, evil connotations.
Oh, absolutely.
It's racism and segregation has returned.
And it's this idea, this idea that you're going to fight racism and prejudice by delving out more prejudice and racism.
And you're going to solve it with racism.
It doesn't make any sense.
Yeah, it's this unfortunate misunderstanding and misinterpreting of MLK's work.
I've even had job interviews where they've explained, well, we believe in diversity and this and that.
How are you going to bring this into your classroom?
And I'll explain, well, I'm an MLK guy.
I believe I'm judging a person by their character and by their actions rather than the color of their skin.
And I just look out at the Zoom call or the firing squad at the table that I'm looking at of the interviewees, and it's blank expressions, almost shock on their face.
Like, how can you say that?
And I'm like, I don't understand.
Isn't that what we're supposed to be doing?
Not looking at people's skin color.
And I remember early on, you know, 10, 15 years ago, just starting to hear that rumbling of how, well, you've got to look at people, the color of people's skins and their experience and such like that.
Why Nobody Wants Prejudice 00:03:06
And I was like, well, the color of your skin doesn't determine your experience.
And that goes back to Marxism is that's exactly what they're doing is trying to put everybody in categories.
You are the oppressed or you're the oppressor.
Period, end of story.
And what that does is it takes away people's confidence in themselves.
And if you tell somebody that they're going to never make it in this world because of the color of their skin, of course they're going to think that.
And they're not going to try and they're not going to excel.
So that was heartbreaking to me.
So let's talk about what the tenets of Marxism are, what you've identified them as, and why somebody might think that it's positive.
Let's start with why people think that it's positive.
There's this, of course, nobody wants to be racist.
Nobody wants to be prejudiced.
Nobody wants to be evil or an oppressor.
So as soon as you hear just that baseline of, well, Marxism is to lift up the oppressed and put power back in the hands of those belittled and oppressed people.
Of course, who would not want to be the hero?
Who would not want to lift up people?
But that's not really what Marxism is.
It's the power of the elite putting people in boxes and taking over and controlling everything in your life.
The tenets of Marxism is a lot about what they want to take away and what they need to take away.
And these are founding principles of democracy and America.
And that being the core family group and religion, you know, Marx called it the opium of the masses, the opium of the people.
And what I've done in my book is gone back and tried to debunk every one of these criticisms that Marx put forward.
When he would talk about religion and how it keeps people oppressed, I would go back into history and explain where religion came from and how important it is for a society to grow and be moral and ethical.
Also, when it comes to the family, how much Marx needed and required the family to be broken up.
The same thing with the borders, the fluid borders, how going back to one of the reasons why we have these open borders is because in order for Marxism to succeed, Marxism, communism has to be the only economic principle in the world.
Round and Round on Communism 00:04:54
Because if you have a communist society next to a free market society, the free market society is always going to win and it's always going to topple the communism, the communist regime.
So in order for communism to rule, it's got to get rid of all the other economic systems.
And that's one of the reasons you're seeing this degradation and this destruction of borders is they don't want the borders because they need communism to be everywhere.
We got to take a break, but when we come back, I want to talk more about your experience in the media.
We're with Brett Mauser.
He is the author of Broken Lens, the Marxist plot to kill journalism.
it's making sense of the madness back after this.
Hi, this is Sean Morgan with an Amp Consumer Report.
I'm here with Danny Rosenberg, a specialist in insurance.
And Danny, a lot of people are worried about Bidenomics, about the situation with the economy, how volatile everything is, and they're curious about fixed-indexed annuities.
What are the advantages?
So a lot of people are looking at fixed-index annuities as a separate asset class.
You don't have any downside risk.
You don't have any downside volatility or capture or drawdowns, but you still get some of the upside.
And people will actually purchase annuities for two basic reasons.
The first is guaranteed income for life.
So the only way you can really guarantee an income stream you cannot live is through pensions, through Social Security, or an annuity.
The second reason people are interested in annuities is because they want what's called a protected growth strategy.
And again, you'll get some of the upside of the equity markets with no downside risk, no downside volatility, no drawdowns or corrections.
So it actually acts as a separate asset class and is a great way to protect assets.
Well, that's great.
And I know for a limited time, you're offering free consultations for those who are seriously interested.
So we'll put a link in the description below where people can book that consultation.
Thank you for your time, Danny.
We are back with Brett Mouser.
Now, Brett, you discussed the breaking point as to where, you know, your media outlet basically said, Project Veritas, they're hoax monsters.
There is no election fraud.
Move on.
What are some of the other egregious examples of media manipulation that were going on before that that kind of raised your eyebrow before this incident?
Well, it's very rare that I will be speechless.
And there was one incident while I was recording and while I was undercover that did just leave me speechless.
And kind of calling back to your previous guest with the mask mandates and whatnot, I was at the station in the middle of the whole mask mandates.
You got to wear the masks.
Well, we had had the policy come down that masks were recommended.
And so I didn't wear one.
I didn't wear the mask.
And I got called into the principal's office, basically.
I had to sit down with my manager, with the director.
And he basically said, well, I noticed you're not wearing your mask.
And I pointed out the policies.
Well, it's recommended.
And he kind of leaned forward and said, well, it's highly recommended.
I said, well, if it's recommended, it means I'm not required.
Is that true?
I'm not required, correct?
And he said, well, I consider it a very personal favor if you did wear the mask.
And of course, the godfather music in my head starts playing.
And I refused.
And I said, no.
And we started arguing about it and about everything from COVID itself and young children, because that was his excuse.
Well, you know, we don't want people catching it and taking it home to their kids.
And I explained, well, you know, the research is there.
Kids are almost not affected at all by it.
It's the flu to them.
And one of his statements was, well, you know, and we went round and round.
And finally, he just said, well, people are scared.
And that's more important than the truth.
And I was stunned.
Here's journalism.
Here's news has just told me that fear is more important than the truth.
And that was going kind of sort of a breaking point for me.
It was just shocking that if they felt this way about their employees and they'd rather keep their employees in a state of fear rather than express to them the truth, then how do you think they view their audience?
Fear Over Truth 00:06:18
And what do you think they're going to do with their audience?
So that was probably the most shocking time that I had.
Well, I also think it shows the cognitive dissonance of somebody that is the manager at a network like this.
At the heart of the matter, they get it.
This is all a facade, but they want to keep their job and they'll keep their narrative, but then they also understand the power of fear and why it's controlling people.
That's the maddening part.
Now, you talked about communism, Marxism versus a free market society.
When we talk about these isms, oftentimes I think they're almost one and the same because they're really all based in collectivism and a collectivism run by the few at the very top, correct?
Yes.
Yeah.
And that's what people don't understand is they think that they're getting this wonderful society, this wonderful organization because it's run by the people and it's run by society.
But that's not the case.
There's always a ruling class.
And that's one of the reasons that I think that our system is so much better than, say, communism or socialism, because you have to look at the fact that how America is set up to work so slowly.
Our founding fathers knew that corruption is always, always going to enter any political system.
And if you're given the opportunity between having a weak federal government, a weak ruling class, and a strong ruling class, knowing and understanding that corruption is part of mankind.
It's part of the human experience.
You're never going to get rid of it.
Then which government do you want, the one with a lot of power or the one with very little power?
So I think that's one thing that people have to understand about communism and socialism versus the free market society and our constitutional republic is the constitutional republic is set up to put limitations on the government and say you can't do this.
This is what you do not have the power to do.
Whereas communism, socialism, then all of a sudden you're stepping into the tyranny of the majority.
You know, if 51% of people want to oppress the 49%, well, it's over.
It's done.
But there's always going to be that ruling class.
So the less power you give that ruling class, the better.
And a Marxism and socialism and communism is going to give too much power to that ruling class.
And, you know, let's hone in on that because it's so important to point out that our forefathers had three branches of government.
You had the judicial, the executive, and the legislative.
And they were supposed to keep individuals within those institutions accountable.
Now, when they didn't keep them accountable, what happened?
The fourth estate outside of government, real journalism would put pressure on them through the court of public opinion, and then something usually had to be done.
Unfortunately, that has eroded greatly over time.
And especially to the point now, I don't believe we live in a constitutional republic.
Unfortunately, we have a system of an executive within an executive.
I think that was proven in the Trump presidency when outright some of his orders were not followed.
And we have the situation where we're at today.
Talk about the parallels between Marxism and this modern day power grab, if you will, through equity and diversity.
Well, to start on that, that would be the okay, we're going back to the oppressor versus the oppressed because that's got to divide and conquer.
And that's always going to be the case of bureaucracies and anybody that's trying to grab power.
And that's exactly what, going to your point, that's exactly what's happened.
We've become a bureaucracy.
All of these decisions and powers are being handled by non-elected officials.
And that being the Department of Education, the Federal Communications Commission, such like that.
These are non-elected bureaucrats that are making these rules, laws, and regulations.
The ATF and their bans on certain things.
These are bureaucratic things that are, these are bureaucracies that are taking over.
And one of the ways that they do that is the divide and conquer method by dividing people and thinking that one side is opposed to the other.
So they need the protection of the government.
So they're going to give the power to the government to be able to protect that oppressed class or that oppressed society.
And in order to do that, you've got to start dividing people up into groups and saying, okay, you're more impressed than this person and have this hierarchy of basically the oppression of Olympics.
Who is more oppressed than the other?
And when you start fighting and battling against each other and saying, I'm more oppressed than this person, then what you've done is you've created tribalism and this feeling of I need the government to protect me.
And therefore, you're going to give more power to the government and let them run your life.
It goes back to the iconic saying that the person who surrenders their freedom for security deserves neither.
And that's what basically people are doing.
And they do that by making people feel like they're in a separate box and they're not Americans.
And their class, their race, their sex, that all comes first and foremost over being a member of America and an American.
Well, I think they want us to be what, global stakeholders and will own nothing and be happy.
Making Sense of the Madness 00:04:50
We've got to take one more break when we come back.
I want to talk more about the book and how my audience can get it.
It's making sense of the madness.
back after this.
Final segment with Brett Mauser, the author of Broken Lens, the Marxist plot to kill journalism.
Brett, first off, tell my audience where they can find the book and then really hone in on anything included in the book that we didn't talk about of great importance.
Okay.
It can be found on Amazon.
You can also find a direct link to it on our website, notsosane.com.
The book is sort of divided into three different sections.
So you're kind of getting three books in one in a way.
The first part really delves into my experience going from a filmmaker to journalist to filmmaker and back and forth.
And basically my experience in journalism leading up to my experience with Tegna and Kens.
And then part two is the investigation part, where I explain everything that happened while I was undercover.
I bring the receipts.
I quote what was going on, give the examples, and really delve into that, all the stuff that didn't get put into the full Project Veritas story.
And then the third part is the breakdown and the comparison between Marxism and the CRT and DEI movements and comparing them, explaining to them why they're the same, explaining the tenets of Marxism, and then why a very good criticism of why Marxism doesn't work and why it's wrong.
So I think we're in a situation right now where in the first time in American history, they're about to put a former president in prison.
Now, I know there's a lot of hopium out there that somehow he's going to beat all four of these cases or he's going to get a fair trial, but the court systems that they're set in and the parameters in which these cases are being tried, to me, suggest otherwise.
In a world where former President Trump is found guilty and does go to jail, what does our society look like?
And is it not one step closer, if not fully Marxist or communist at that point?
I think it's very close to the point of no return at that point.
Whether it would be the tipping scale is going to depend on the American public.
It is always in our hands.
Even in a communist or socialist regime, it's always going to be in the hands of the people to stand up and say no more.
And it's much more difficult and near impossible in a communist and socialist authoritarian state, any authoritarian state.
But it is always, always going to be in the hands of the people and their willingness to be brave and stand up and to say no more.
So I think it's going to be dependent on how people react and what we as a society do and whether we're going to take it.
And I think that's one of the things that we as a society have to understand and remind ourselves is that it is our responsibility to protect and to govern ourselves, not the governments.
And once we get back to that tenant, then there is hope again.
But until that point, then we are destined for the banana republic and then the eventually fall into socialism and communism.
Hope Through Truth 00:02:58
Yeah, you know, a government foreign by the people where we hold our electorate accountable and criminally accountable when they commit those crimes.
I'm in.
It sounds good to me.
Final question.
For those that might be watching this that are on the inside of the mainstream media, whether it be the big networks or a local subsidiary going through some of the moral conundrums that you went through during the election.
Maybe it's the COVID issue.
Maybe it's something else.
What advice would you give to them?
Stand up and say no.
Remember that your job is to investigate, to get to the truth with a capital T. That's the important thing is understand that there is a truth with a capital T.
It's not your truth.
It's not her truth.
It's not my truth.
There is the truth.
And your job as a journalist is to get down and find that truth.
And if your bosses and your managers and your news director are just saying, oh, just regurgitate the press release.
Oh, well, Senator this or judge this said this, then we're just going to go with that.
Shake your head.
Say no.
You've got to stand up.
It is your job.
You wanted to be a journalist to change the world, to stand up and do what's right.
Well, nothing is more correct and nothing is more right than the truth.
Absolutely.
And it is not subjective.
It is objective.
There is one truth.
