Oh, this man is no good.
Who does this?
Who goes on national television?
Whoa, oh, CNN.
Hey, Jeff, help me out here.
When do I go on CNN?
Only when you're in the White House to crush them.
To crush them, right?
Yes.
I don't go there to criticize other conservatives or just to be on CNN, because CNN are scum!
Scum of the earth!
They are the propaganda outreach arm of the Democrat Party.
They're hagiographers for Biden.
They're professional whores and liars.
Mark Short is allegedly a conservative.
Worked in the Senate.
Worked for Vice President Pence.
But there's this moment where you see behind the curtain, it's just 19 seconds long, and you say, oh yes, I was right.
What my gut instincts told me seven years ago was absolutely true.
This is what he has to say about Matt Gaetz and what happened in the last few days in America.
Cut six.
We really are $33 trillion in debt.
Yeah.
We do have a border crisis.
There's a lot of issues that need to be solved.
Yes.
But the people who were masquerading as fiscal conservatives really, really aren't, Jake.
I mean, Matt Gaetz, to say he came here as a fiscal crusader, it's more likely he came here for the teenage interns on Capitol Hill, to be honest.
I hope Mancate sues that bastard into the ground.
Now, since the Supreme Court decision in the 1970s of Sullivan vs. New York Times, you really can't sue anybody for lying about you like that.
for defaming you if you're a public figure.
It's such a crass, I mean, just one of the stupidest things after Roe v. Wade that the Supreme Court said that, oh, if you're a famous person, you can't sue somebody for defamation unless you can prove that they knew they were lying when they said it.
Like what?
I can get in his head?
I have a polygraph when he's on CNN?
You cretins!
I mean, the Supreme Court really can be moronic.
Just as with Roe v. Wade.
The penumbra of privacy in the constitution that covers the rights between the patient and the doctor.
To kill babies?
You cretins!
Mark Shaw.
That's a quote unquote concern.
Who worked in the stinking Trump White House!
He dares to say of somebody who challenges his buddies from being able to feed at the trough of the taxpayer.
He accuses him of being more interested in the young interns.
I'm so... The teenage... You are filth.
And all the others that are coming out of the woodwork.
He's a senator I've never heard of!
An actual senator!
Mark Wayne Mullen of Oklahoma!
Nobody has ever heard of him!
But he's a whore as well!
Listen to what he has to say about a man who's allegedly from his own party.
Cut one.
You got to think about this guy.
This is a guy that didn't have, that the media didn't give a time of day to after he was accused of sleeping with an underage girl.
There's a reason why no one in the conference came and defended him because we had all seen the videos he was showing on the house floor that all of us had walked away of the girls that he had slept with.
He'd brag about how he would crush ED medicine and chase it with an energy drink so he could go all night.
This is obviously before he got married.
And so when that accusation came out, no one defended him and then no one on the media would give him a time of the day.
All of a sudden he found fame because he opposed the Speaker of the House.
So strange, Senator Marlin.
Where have you been?
Where have you been politically?
As the border has been wide open for 8 million illegals.
As 13 service members were murdered in Afghanistan.
There's 110,000 died of phantom in the last year.
Where the hell have you been, you coward?
Oh!
Somebody ordered you to take down Matt Gaetz?
And now you're giving interviews?
You're a political whore as well.
I swear before all of you now.
One of the most important things I'm going to dedicate my life to next is to making sure people like Short, like that mullin, and all of the fake patriots are expelled from positions of power for good as we take back America and politically crush scum like Mark Short.
Choose a side, friends.
This is America First.
We'll have an expert on the threat to the nation today.
One of the preeminent experts on communism in the third hour.

Thanks for watching.
It's the politicians like Sean Maloney who just don't get it.
Wasteful spending he passed in Washington is driving up inflation and making everything more expensive here at home.
I'm Mike Waller.
In the State Assembly, I cut... Open the lines.
Give me 5 and 8.
And that should be connected too.
I think if it was secret ballot, Steve Scalise would win overwhelmingly, or anybody but Jim Jordan.
But what you're going to start seeing, Anderson, is on the emails, on the fundraising, on other cable news networks, Jim is going to be now the new litmus test of are you a true conservative or not.
Steve Scalise won't be.
It'll be Jim Jordan.
And so there will be a slow acquiescence of...
You're right.
It's a civil trial.
He doesn't have to be there as a defendant.
Why is he there?
So he shows up in part, I think, to sit in that courtroom, get the photograph kind of glaring at the witnesses and the judge and the district attorney and everybody at the Attorney General.
And then really what he's there for...
We never had so much as a default.
So we're sitting there saying, is there a victim in this?
I mean, you're suing us and there's no victim, but Carly, it's nonsense.
The DOJ has told Letitia James to make my father's life hell.
To keep him tied up in a courtroom, to cost him tens and tens of millions of dollars, to distract him, right?
Ten.
The Republican-led House Ways and Means Committee has... I gotta change that one.
It's vertical.
Right over here.
Boils here.
Yeah, I know.
I want to hear the cuts.
The Republican-led House Ways and Means Committee has released hundreds of new documents from the Hunter Biden investigation, and I want to walk you through Exhibit 202 and 203.
Exhibit 202 is an email from August of 2020.
Exhibit 202 is an email from August of 2020.
We will continue to take actions to support Ukraine in their fight for freedom against tyranny
destabilizing activities in the region.
Say it, play that again.
We will continue to take actions to support Ukraine in their fight for freedom against tyranny and to curb Iran's destabilizing activities in the region.
Did she just say that?
She said tyranny?
Yeah.
She has to be the dumbest press secretary.
And she's just reading.
She didn't even know she screwed up either.
Hey, hey Matt.
Hey, are we having a good day?
I think so.
I think things are looking good for Jim Jordan, for the speakers.
Good.
All right.
We shall discuss.
All right.
I'm for Jim now, because they're ripping him the most.
Let's come in.
I think he's very likely to get it.
Let's come in with that prick, Kinzinger.
Cut five.
Yeah, cut five. Cut.
Yeah.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Yeah.
Gage team.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And so there will be a slow acquiescence of everybody to Jim Jordan.
That's my prediction.
I certainly hope for the country I'm wrong.
But I'll also say this.
If he becomes Speaker, it will be interesting to see how a shut-it-all-down kind of guy actually governs a country.
If some reprobate like Kinzinger is on CNN trashing Jim Jordan, I think we know who we need to be the Speaker of the House.
We will analyze that with the man who knows the best about the stinking swamp in a moment.
But first, if you've been struggling for years, 20 years of trying to lose weight, I could carry it off.
Six foot three.
You know, extra poundage, I could hide it.
But then I met Dr. Ashley Lucas and her amazing team at MyPhD Weight Loss and I lost 42 pounds in just a matter of months.
If you've tried everything else and failed...
to lose the weight, or it just came back on.
Do what I did.
Call them today, 864-644-1900, myphdweightloss.com.
I've got a wicked sweet tooth, I love my fried food, love my carbs, but this will work.
No stupid calorie counting, pills to pop, or starvation diet, just a system with five meals a day that burns the fat.
Seriously, if you've tried everything else and failed, You gotta try it.
If I could do it, anyone can.
Write the number down.
864-644-1900.
MyPhD.
WeightLoss.com.
Alright, he is the Washington Bureau Chief for the conservative juggernaut that is BrightBar.com.
He's a good friend of the show.
Matt Boyle, welcome back to America First.
Dr. G, always a pleasure.
Great to be here.
All right, so it's been quite a week, Matt, in American politics, has it not?
Certainly has, certainly has.
It's been an action-packed week.
There's no doubt about that.
What a rollercoaster ride.
All right, so what are you hearing?
We've heard like two or three names.
Steve Scalise, there may be some health issues there on my buddy Bob Francis' show out of The Salem Media Network, we had Jim Jordan say, yeah, yeah, he's prepared this time to run.
If the left, like Kinsinger, are attacking Jim Jordan, does that mean that he's the right man for the job?
What are you hearing?
Well, not just Kinsinger, but Liz Cheney is the big thing attacking Jim Jordan as well, which makes you think that maybe he's the right decision for the job.
Look, I have no personal animosity towards Steve Scalise.
I think he's a good No, good guy.
And he's been through a lot for the country.
You know, I mean, obviously he was shot and now he's going through a cancer diagnosis.
But the fact is, is that his diagnosis is extremely severe, right?
Like, I mean, this is a life-threatening illness that he's going through.
And he's apparently—we talked to his office yesterday, responding very well to the treatment.
But, I mean, do we want to be back here in three months or six months or a year, right?
Like, I don't know.
So this is a big decision for the House Republicans.
I hope they don't rush it.
I hope that they take it seriously.
They listen to all the different voices and they come out.
My hope is that when they come back out of the recess that they're in right now, right, which they're in a recess while they're Considering all of this before they elect a new speaker that on a first ballot they get a unanimous vote for whoever that speaker is and that's the stuff that they're gonna work out behind closed doors.
They're gonna have a candidate forum next week where a lot of the members are talking about it.
A lot of the members are making phone calls and calling around to this one and that one and you're seeing the debate play out a little bit in public too with the various commentary and whatnot that's happening out there but I do think that Jim Jordan would be a huge moment for the House Republicans, and I think that if he were elected Speaker, you know, the division and healing, the healing from the division that we've had for the last decade would begin, right?
Like, it would be quite the story for Jordan, right?
from Freedom Caucus chair 10 years ago and founding chair of that to now the Speaker
of the House.
And I think that, you know, there would be a lot of ability to put the differences aside
and remember who the real enemy is, right?
And that's the thing.
This conference, these Republicans, again, there are many good people on both sides of
this fight, right?
And there are a lot of good people who liked Kevin McCarthy as Speaker of the House.
We need the people who didn't like Kevin McCarthy as Speaker of the House.
And we need to understand that the real fight here is Election Day, November 2024, when we have an opportunity to remove the most corrupt president in American history and Joe Biden from the White House.
And we need our team organized and focused to be able to do that.
So hopefully we get to that point, no matter who it is.
But I, you know, I'm beginning to think, and from talking to a lot of different members, That the best person for the job would probably be Jim Jordan.
Alright, so I have to have a kind of sanity check from you, and you know better than most.
I just completely swat down all of these theories that, you know, Kevin McCarthy was going to be voted in by the Democrats, or somebody is going to, you know, there'll be a candidate who's made Speaker by the Democrats.
I don't buy that for a millisecond.
The idea that anyone with the name, with the letter R after their name, would be happy to become Speaker With the support of the Democrats.
This is this is crazy talk, Matt.
Yeah, I don't think that that's true.
And by the way, Kevin McCarthy had an opportunity to try to cut a deal with the Democrats and he decided against it in the lead up to the vote.
He said if he's going to stay, it's going to be with Republican votes and he didn't give them anything.
And honestly, that's an honorable thing for him, right?
Like he didn't He didn't go make a deal with the devil to try to keep his job.
He said that if, you know, my conference wants me gone then so be it, right?
So, no, I don't think that that'll happen.
What I am concerned about is that if we don't get to a quick resolution here, right, like
that there is a government funding deadline.
You know, the deal that they made for the CR right before this was 45 days.
I believe that a week of that is gone now, right, or close to it, right?
Like, so, you know, we're into the 30s of days left until the next funding deadline.
So we need to have a speaker to be able to get focused and on point about that.
And then more broadly, there's an impeachment inquiry that's ongoing right now that Speaker
McCarthy had started that the next speaker is going to have to take up the football and
go from there with.
And that stuff is going to need to be moving quickly.
And so the fact of the matter is that they need to get organized and quickly.
So hopefully they get it together by the middle of next week.
We'll see.
Are you surprised that the acting speaker, you know, adjourned everything for like 10 days?
No, because there's a lot of anger right now among members.
Members are really bitterly divided about this.
And again, like I said, there's a lot of good people that were with McCarthy that are upset about this.
And, you know, you see that anger playing out right now.
And then there's good people that are on the other side of this, too.
Like, so, look, everybody needed a chill pill, right?
Like, I'd rather our guys not fight each other.
That's what the Democrats want.
The reason why they voted for the motion to vacate is they want the Republicans fighting with each other.
Yeah, but to be honest, Matt, they were just as surprised as we were, because I don't think Nancy expected to have to move out of her office the day after the vote, or Steny Hoyer.
So I think everybody, we were shocked, I think Kevin was shocked, and I think this did not go as the Democrats planned as well.
We're going to continue the discussion after the break.

at the store sebgorkastore.com and support him at donaldjtrump.com anything official matt yeah he's officially launched a
speakership bid so the two candidates for speaker are scalise and jordan so yeah no and and like
look he he's gonna get a shot at it right like he might get the conference nomination the question is
can he get to 218 votes i don't know and it i
I don't, it doesn't seem likely.
So, I think Jordan can get to 218 votes.
Play me cut 7 and 12 and 13.
Sound.
You're right, it's a civil trial.
No guys, 7.
I know, I'm just checking, there's no sound on this one.
That's not Jesse Waters.
What is that?
Jesse Waters.
It should be Jesse Waters.
Uh, I guess I have the wrong cut.
Let me get that so you want to see cut 12 and 13, right?
13 right?
Yep.
Good.
Good.
I'm going to answer one question on the border wall.
The border wall is a wall that's been built over the years.
It's a wall that's been built over the years.
It's a wall that's been built over the years.
Yes, they're building the wall right now.
The Biden administration is building the wall.
appropriate to redirect that money.
They didn't, they wouldn't.
And in the meantime, there's nothing under the law other than they have to use
the money for what is appropriate.
I can't stop that.
So hang on, is he saying he has to build the wall?
Yes, they're building the wall right now.
The Biden administration is building the wall.
All right. 13.
Do you believe the border wall hurts?
No. OK.
No.
Okay.
They literally said walls were racist, and now they're building the wall.
Right.
Yeah.
No, that's because he said the money was appropriated.
He tried to change it, but he can't.
And you know, honest Joe always follows the law.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, well, if he follows the law, then they wouldn't be processing the importation of all these illegal aliens.
Well, they wouldn't be paying off student debt.
Right.
among other things.
Tell me when you got Jesse.
you Yep, I got it.
Okay.
Good.
Here's the Trump courtroom strategy.
Since there's no cameras inside, he's gonna spin the case each day from outside the steps.
The media will take him live while he holds court.
I gotta run it through him.
And rages against injustice and nails Biden's high.
So we're sitting there saying, is there a victim in this?
I mean, you're suing us and there's no victim, but Carla, it's nonsense.
The DOJ has told Letitia James to make my father's life hell.
To keep him tied up in a courtroom?
to cost him tens and tens of millions of dollars to distract him?
And you know what, he walks in there and the amount of press there was incredible.
And the entire country understands what's happening with my father, not just by Jack
Smith but by Letitia, by all the cronies, by the people in Washington DC, by the people
in Georgia.
They have weaponized the legal system to go after Donald Trump.
That's Eric Trump with a very solid analysis of what the left is doing, which seems to be counterproductive.
I'm going to ask our guest to give us his take on what they are doing.

We're back with Matt Boyle, Washington Bureau Chief for Breitbart.com.
Matt, you have, you know, great connections amongst the patriots, but you've got some connections on the other side of the aisle.
And I've got to ask you, is anybody who works for the Democrats, is anybody saying, This constant political persecution through the courts, including now in New York, is actually making the president more popular, and we should probably stop.
Or are they all just insane?
Well, the train's left the station, so they can't stop it.
But they keep adding!
They keep adding to it!
And they won't criticize it publicly, but I do talk to people on the Democrat side of the aisle who say they are...
They second-guess it.
They don't know if it was the right decision.
But none of them has the courage or the ability to stop it at this point because they've made their bed.
Now they have to sleep in it, right?
So they've made their decision.
They're going for it on Trump in the law fair and so on and so forth.
There's no pulling back at this point, right?
But it's so obvious.
I mean, Jesse Waters had a great take on it.
It's just an 18 minute, 18 second, 18 minute, 18 second cut.
This is yesterday.
Jesse Waters cut seven.
Here's the Trump courtroom strategy.
Since there's no cameras inside, he's going to spin the case each day from outside the steps.
The media will take him live while he holds court and rages against injustice and nails Biden's hide to the wall.
Free media like that, that's how he got elected in 16.
It's so true.
No other candidate was allowed to call in by phone to the big cable shows and give interviews in 16.
And now it's the same effect, Matt, but it's outside a courtroom in DC, in Atlanta, in New York.
They're so stupid, aren't they?
Yeah, it's backfiring on them in that respect.
By the way, there's breaking news just now.
Apparently, President Trump has filed a motion in Washington D.C.
in federal court to try to dismiss the D.C.
case about the January 6th case against him.
So we'll see what happens with that.
But the point here is that, no, it's totally backfiring.
And by the way, the reason why Trump was allowed to call in to television shows and whatnot is because he was interesting, and that's what people wanted to hear, right?
So it's this self-fulfilling prophecy where, yes, he's allowed these certain things, and yes, he has this ability to command the attention, but also people want to see it, right?
They want to see what Trump has to say and weigh in on different things and whatnot.
So the shows will bend over backwards to make sure they get Trump on, whereas, like, frankly, nobody really cares what DeSantis has to say about anything or Jeb Bush had to say about anything, right?
Like, I don't care.
So what is the prognosis?
I'm just curious, what are you hearing?
Is Ron going to keep on campaigning?
For now, I guess.
Apparently he's, I saw a report yesterday, he's moving a third of his staff from Tallahassee to Iowa.
But the fundraising reports came out and his campaign is trying to act like it's in really good shape, right?
Like he raised $15 million in the last quarter.
But the buried lead there is that DeSantis only has $5 million cash on hand entering October.
And his whole campaign.
That's paltry.
That's less than most Senate candidates have in one state.
How do you run a 50-state campaign for the presidency if you've only got $5 million in the bank and not more money coming in?
He just used one of my favorite words.
Paltry.
He's a well-educated man.
He's a man of letters.

Thirteen more months of this insanity until the election.
You know it can only get worse.
Do you have a plan B?
Because next time it may not be baby formula America runs out of.
It may be the staples of life!
Do you know the average grocery store has less than 72 hours worth of stock in the back room?
After that, that's it.
It is empty shelves, my friend.

Now, the nice thing about working with Salem is that they never censor you.
I'm never told what to say.
And also, we've got to, you know, pay the bills.
And so we have sponsors like the great Mike Lindell and Relief Factor.
But I get to choose.
I get to choose.
They come to me with recommendations and I can say yes or no.
Yesterday, and this is, you know, full disclosure, I said no to a product I'm not comfortable advertising.
But then there are other ones.
Like, especially for my dogs.
I love our dogs.
Killian and Leia.
Belgian Shepherds.
The best of the best.
And then I heard of this thing called Rough Greens, and I thought, huh, there's a catchphrase associated with it called dog food is dead food, and I wanted to know more.
And that's what we're going to do for you right now with naturopathic Dr. Dennis Black, the inventor of Rough Greens.
Dr. Black, welcome to America First.
Dr. Gorka, good to be with you again.
So, I've got to know, you've got to explain this to me.
How does a Vietnam vet, an airborne ranger, a helicopter pilot, I'm really jealous now, how do you get into dog food supplements?
Well, I was actually into human food supplements in the beginning.
I had stage 4 cancer.
And I had to kind of figure out how I was going to navigate that because there was no chemotherapy or radiation for my cancer.
So I decided to create a formula and that basically cured my cancer.
And so I created product lines along that and we got a lot of patients.
I went to medical school for that naturopathic medical school and We did that for 25 years, but people would say, do you have anything for my dogs?
Because the dogs are getting sick at the same rate that we are.
And so we looked into it and we found out that, you know, kibble, which is basically just something that's brown and terrible looking.
As a matter of fact, if you ate this every day, you'd get sick, too.
You'd get sick of it.
Right.
It's pretty nasty stuff.
And so what we said was we can't get people to change their dog food.
They're just not going to do that.
But what we can do is we can add something to the dog food that will bring it back to life.
And so that's what we did, because The confusion is that people think that dogs are carnivores, and they're not.
They're omnivores like we are.
Yes.
And so they need probiotics, and enzymes, and antioxidants, and omega oils, and all those live vitamins, just like we do.
And so what we did was we put that in a powder, and we started giving it to people, and lo and behold, we're now tens of thousands of subscribers, and five star reviews, People are telling us that the bad breath of their dog, the joint health of their dog, the coat, the energy, all of that stuff has improved dramatically.
Now let me tell you my story.
So let me tell you my story.
So I've had dogs all my life when I was a kid, now with my family.
And we buy dog food and we try to buy good dog food, but there's the dry component and the canned component.
And they're not, I can tell they're not super excited about it.
They're really excited.
My wife, Not all the time.
Every few weeks, she'll cook dog food.
She'll actually cook them dog food.
That stuff, I think it doesn't touch the bowl.
As soon as she puts it in the bowl, it is eaten and it disappears.
But she's not going to be cooking, you know, fresh food every day for our dogs.
I took your rough greens, which are literally green.
It's a green powder.
And I sprinkled it on the dried kibble equivalent.
Right.
And both of my dogs, it disappeared.
The dry kibble disappeared because of this powder.
I don't know.
Did you put like, you know, essence of marabone in there?
Because for some reason, they flipping love it, Dr. Black.
Well, all of the ingredients that are in there are human grade ingredients.
But there's a couple ingredients that for dogs, it's just like magic for them.
And so, I can't tell you what they are, but the reality is that we did a lot of research.
Actually, four years worth of research to make this product specifically for dogs.
And that's why it's so wonderful.
But it's a powder.
This is the thing that stuns me.
It's literally a powder that goes on top, and they gobble up.
Yep, but it's a live powder.
They gobble it.
Alright, so explain the dog food is dead food, because that's your catchphrase.
Explain that, Dr. Black.
Well, so here's a bowl of kibble.
And if you take this bowl of kibble and put it on top of your refrigerator for six months, come back and look at it.
There's no mold, nothing's growing on it because it's dead.
It's inert.
It has to be, or it can't sit on the shelf at your local pet store for two years.
The reality is almost all of this kibble food made in America is made in just like five or six plants.
And they change the size of it.
They change the color of it.
They change the flavors of it.
But the cheapest kibble and the most expensive kibble oftentimes are made in the exact same plant.
It's just a different flavor and a different shape.
It's a shell game.
All right.
So I want everybody.
I want everybody to try out this product that my dogs Leia and Killian love.
What is this absolutely no brain offer that you're giving all of our listeners right now, Dr. Black?
Well, so I was raised on a farm.
I've had dogs my entire life.
And the last thing I want is what's happened to me is where I buy something, I take it home and my dog won't eat it.
Right.
Right.
So what we want to do is we want you to try it before you buy it, because I want to make sure that it fits into your routine and that your dog will actually consume it.
So all you have to do is just pay a small shipping fee and go to our website.
And what we're going to do is we're going to give you a 10 to 14 day supply so you can try it, see how it goes.
And if you like it, you can continue.
And if you don't like it, you just call us and say, yeah, I don't want any more.
I didn't like it.
You got nothing to lose.
Make your dogs happy.
Make them healthy right now for this incredible deal.
Just cover the shipping.
That's rough.

First on the line, at the top of the show, waiting very patiently.
Line one, Phil from Philly.
Hey, Dr. Cheat, thanks for taking the call.
Out of all the shows I've been listening to and watching and listening, nobody... No, it's very hard to hear.
We're losing you.
Can you hold the phone further away from your mouth?
You got me?
You got me, Dr. G?
Nobody, we haven't heard anybody speaking about divine providence.
I mean, God has been steering this bus since the beginning of 1776, and God's at the wheel right now.
This is our chance, this speakership, to give notice to the world.
We're two heartbeats away from knocking all this destruction in this country away.
Now, Elvis had a song called, Little Less Conversation, Little More Action.
I love it, one of my favorites.
That is Jim Jordan.
I mean, we love to hear him talk, we love to make him hear points, but six subpoenas?
Alright, we've got lots of callers.
Quickly, what's your point, Phil?
Byron Donalds.
Love it, love it, love it, love it, love it.
And Alex, get that song a little less talk and more action.
I love it.
Let's go to, oh, on this issue, Bill Sacramento.
Bill!
Who do you want as speaker?
You've got a recommendation.
Alright, don't break the line.
Let's go to Antoinette!
Is it Thursday?
I think it is!
Hey, Dr. G!
Boy, is it Thursday?
Am I still alive?
Have we had a wild week or what?
Oh, it's been fun!
It's been fun!
Yeah!
But I'm with you a thousand percent.
Me, personally.
I'm very proud of Matt Gaetz.
What he's done.
Period.
So, uh, last Friday, and separate if I am for the voiceless, a number of us, being Latina, we were for President Trump.
And it was shocking, it was amazing, it was energetic.
The great turnout for President Trump.
Yes.
But you know, this whole thing of fake news, so true.
Univision, in speaking to them in Spanish and trying to explain things, weren't a bunch of liars.
But we corrected them.
They didn't like it.
Same with ABC.
Surprisingly, CBS and Channel 2, they were the fairest with talking about illegal immigration and supporting Trump.
Because there's a large, large, large group in California, Hispanics, Latinos, we are for Trump.
Now, getting back to... You've got 30 seconds.
30 seconds.
Please, everybody, go and donate some money to HisNestingPlace.org.
Gas is too expensive.
We're not having the car rally this year, but we're all helping and donating money to HisNestingPlace.org for these babies that we're saving.
Love it.
Voice for the voiceless.
HisNestingPlace.org.
HisNestingPlace.org.
Yeah, so much more to discuss.
And a little bit of Elvis.
We'll be back in a second.
So much fun.
Is it Friday?
Feels like it.

you.
I feel so bad.
I wanted to ask him, does he get annoyed when I don't use all of his cuts in a day?
Because we got such good cuts and here's one from yesterday I couldn't get to and I'm not sure Fox was ready for the answers because Fox News is in New York, right?
And they're outside and they're asking New Yorkers about the next election and it was good.
Let's listen.
Enthusiastic.
All 70% Biden, 62% say Donald Trump.
Now that it is so loud, this is a good time for you to talk to the people.
Yeah, let's go talk to the people, because we want to know what they think about this.
All right.
Hello.
How are you?
So, are you excited about this next election?
Oh, yes.
Are you thinking more Biden or Donald Trump?
Donald Trump, you don't even have to finish.
I can tell you that real quick.
Why Donald Trump?
Because I know that he loves our country and I know that he is a godly man.
Thank you, ma'am.
All right, sir.
What about you?
Who are you leaning toward in this next election?
Donald Trump, baby.
Why?
He's got a report card.
He talks from the heart.
And the people know his true self.
He's not a phony.
He's for the people.
Thank you, sir.
I appreciate it.
Ma'am, what do you think about the prosecution of Donald Trump?
Yesterday, during his press conference, he said that it's election interference.
I think it's completely election interference.
As a lawyer, I'm petrified that I'm watching judges and prosecutors behave this way to individual Americans.
And the other point about these polls, the 67% that's not enthusiastic is a whole bunch of Trump supporters who are lying to pollsters.
Wow.
Whereas Biden is totally, those are his numbers.
That is a wise lady.
Who would admit to a pollster, yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm a Trump supporter, so the FBI can knock on your door the next day?
I've got a shocking story about that that we'll talk to you about later.
But let's analyze that, because I'm sure Fox, you know, they're completely DeSantis, they're completely Rhino, and they were a little bit surprised by what New Yorkers said about the 2024 election.
Somebody who isn't surprised is a man who fought for the president and fought for America.
He's my Salem colleague, former congressman from Georgia, Doug Collins.
Welcome back to America First.
Oh, it's great to be with you, Sam.
Yeah, that was hilarious.
I love that.
That was pretty good.
That was good.
And we have to put it in the context of what we've been seeing, you know, the whole week, the new court case in New York, the attempt by the judge to gag him.
I got a poll here.
I just showed this.
To Jeff, and it's absolutely stunning.
I'm gonna read it.
I think I retweeted it literally two minutes ago.
Okay, so it's real, guys.
It's real.
It's interactive polls.
You can, you know, get the account, follow it yourself.
SurveyUSA is the pollster.
The 2024 National Republican Primary.
At the moment, as of today, President Trump has 65% support and the next person is the Governor of Florida with 9%.
Doug, did you think we'd be 13 months out from an election and the President would be 56 points ahead?
I'm going to be honest with you, probably not.
Just because of everything that had been going on, everything that he had been through, everything has been going on.
I figured it'd be closer.
What is more shocking to me, Seth, about that poll is this, is that you no longer have any of the opponents in double digits.
And this is after two debates in which they had the opportunity to show themselves to be presidential and instead really showed themselves more akin to really an eighth grade food fight.
Well, hang on, hang on, hang on, hang on, hang on.
You don't think it's presidential to argue about curtains?
You don't think that's presidential?
Oh, Seb, I'm so sorry.
Yes, curtains are important, but the only one probably measuring curtains right now is Donald Trump, not them.
But what got me, and it was just the contrary, I've done plenty of those debates, and frankly, they're not valuable in many ways, except for the practiced one-liners.
You can tell every candidate up there had their practice.
I've used them, okay?
Let's admit it.
We all have.
But they just fall flat.
And when you have... No, no, no.
They fall flat if you're Chris Christie.
I mean, he's Donald Duck.
And like, oh my God.
Did somebody actually write that for you?
Yeah.
Well, think about this, though.
Let's think about that last one where you had DeSantis, who became an alliteration expert.
I choose Midland over Moscow.
And it just came across ... I mean, Ron's better than that.
I'm just going to say that.
And I think he could do better.
But then you had Nikki Haley attacking Tim Scott for all the stuff he did in Washington.
If I would have been Tim Scott, I'd just simply said, Nikki, you appointed me.
I mean, really?
Right, right.
They show themselves for who they are.
But your point is well taken.
Just this.
Take politics out of it for a second, or personal proclivities.
Everybody's in single digits.
Everybody's in single digits except President Trump.
That tells you, that tells you whether he is, to use a British term, the leader of the opposition.
Now, let's talk about what happened in the House just a few days ago.
I'm sure you've got a take on it.
Here is a man who has his take on it.
He's the individual who told, who threatened the President, if you don't do what the intelligence community wants, they've got seven ways from a Sunday of taking you out.
That man is, of course, Chuck Schumer.
This is his take on the Speaker's race in the House.
Cut 4!
We all know there's quite a bit of history being made on the other side of the Capitol as well.
Unfortunately, not the good kind.
Yesterday, a small band of MAGA extremists plunged Congress into pandemonium.
For the first time in history, The speaker has been removed from his position at the hands of radicals that he empowered from day one.
The MAGA extremists and the radicals and the pandemonium.
Now, I don't rehearse my interviews.
I have no idea what you're going to say, so I might be tempting fate here.
But I don't think it's chaos that we have to wait a week or we had to wait four days back in January.
I like a bit of creative chaos.
And right now it looks as if we may get Jim Jordan.
As the new speaker instead of Kevin McCarthy, talk to me about whether this is chaos or pandemonium, Doug.
I think it's not chaos in the sense of what Chuck Schumer wants it to be.
What it is, though, is very much of a frustration that really started in January.
Let's just be frank here.
This never had a chance of not ending this way.
In fact, actually, it made it longer than some had predicted.
that it actually do, that it would actually happen.
My concern now is, is no matter who comes out, Jim Jordan is up, Steve Scalise is up,
it's been an interesting mix so far.
My concern is that there's a two-fold process here.
You gotta have a majority in the conference to become the speaker candidate, but you have
to have 218 on the floor.
And so, here's to my old colleagues, and many of them are still there, do not leave that
room until you all basically sign a pact that says, we have 218.
Do not go to the floor with Jim or Scalise or anybody else in which you can't put up your 218.
But hang on, is that... I'm just being devil's advocate because I don't want our millions of listeners to say, hang on, that's a backroom door, backroom deal.
Or is it just about making sure that, you know, Jim becomes the speaker or Steve or whatever?
It's making sure they become speaker and we don't go through 15 ballots on the floor.
I mean, I think that's the other issue.
Because look, this, remember, this is all majority.
This has nothing to do with the Democrats.
It's all about Republicans.
So why give the Democrats something to laugh about, talk about?
You know, MSNBC, Fox, everybody says, oh, there's pandemonium on the floor again.
Just solve this in the conference where it belongs.
This is a family issue as best I can describe it.
Do it there, make sure you get the best candidate that can represent the entire conference so that they can get those 218 votes, or 217, whatever it is, and you're not going into it with a, okay, we already have a defeatist mentality.
Because whoever comes out as speaker, I mean, I'm a big football fan.
I'm from the South.
You get it all the time.
Is that why your office is full of football memorabilia, Doug Collins?
Well, yes, it happens to be.
But look, for those who know Alabama, Nick Saban, the greatest coach probably ever done.
He is probably going to retire pretty soon.
You don't want to be the next person after Nick Saban.
Okay.
We've got to make sure we get the right person.
And we didn't have a Nick Saban that we were replacing now, but we have a country to run and we have budgets to pass.
We have CRs to do.
We have borders to fix.
We have all these things on Ukraine and everything is to hold fast.
Okay.
The biggest challenge, I'm going to challenge you here.
You know what the biggest challenge for the next speaker is going to be?
Not the house.
It's a Senate.
Senate, yeah.
We've got 30 seconds left.
I've got to ask you, first, follow this man, Rep Doug Collins on Twitter, TheDougCollinsPodcast.com, and on this show, because, you know, he's sometimes an excellent guest host.
Can that deal be done by Thursday?
Can they get that number for Steve or for Jim?
Can it be done?
You know, you've served.
Can it be done, yes or no?
Maybe.
I'm not going to bank on it.
I don't want it to be.
Give me a percentage.
Give me a percentage.
50-50?
I think 60-40 maybe next Friday.
60-40 maybe next Friday, and I'm going to throw in this.
It may not be, and if they come up with a conclusion, I'm going to still leave out a possibility here that it could be a third candidate that we're not talking about right now.
Yeah, that's fine.
That's fine.
But I'll take 60-40 by Friday.
I can wait that long.
Follow this man and check out his book, The Clock and the Calendar.

Alright, what did you read your kids when they were little?
I had to make up stories for my daughter every night.
She'd give me a list of things, you know, tonight it's two dragons, three princesses, a magic castle, and I'd have to make it up as I went along.
It was good training for live radio.
My son, on the other hand, well, he had the Lord of the Rings by J.I.R.
Tolkien read to him every night by my wife.
And that's why today he's the man that he is.
There's a story in there about something called Helms Deep.
And it's a place, it's a concept, that I didn't think I'd hear in a speech from a university president.
But that's exactly what you're going to hear now from Dr. William D. Barker, president of Southern Wesleyan University.
And we'll discuss it in a moment.
Here's the clip.
A refuge, a stronghold.
And continuing the metaphor, the bonfires on the mountaintops of the North have been lit.
We in the South ignore their warning at our peril.
So as we wait upon our own faithful and true rider to appear at dawn from the East, we're talking about Jesus in Revelation 19, not Gandalf.
As we wait for him, we must diligently guard the faith that has been entrusted to our care.
At a holy university, we do so in part by faithfully training the next generation.
This stronghold, though, is not a hiding place.
Helms Deep, the stronghold.
And by the way, Gandalf really is Jesus, if you understand what's going on in Lord of the Rings.
Let's unpack it, why he talked about that, with the man himself, the president of Southern Wesleyan University, Dr. William Barker.
Welcome in studio.
Thank you, Sebastian.
It's great to be here today.
I appreciate the invitation.
Full disclosure, he's only in studio because we had an amazing dinner with him last night.
My wife said, hey, I'm a regent at this school, and you've got to meet the team.
You've got to meet the president.
I'm fascinated by this speech.
My wife said, you've got to get to know this guy.
You've got to have him on the show.
Why are you quoting this concept of a keep, of a fortress, of a bastion, when you're talking about a college?
Well, because unfortunately, the true concept of what a liberal arts university, a Christian liberal arts university should be, I hate to say it, but it's been bastardized.
It's been mangled in many ways as it has become increasingly more and more secular.
And even institutions that bear the name Christian Unfortunately, no longer hold to biblical faithfulness.
And so what we're seeing is a realignment of the educational arena here in the United States and the West at large.
But particularly in the United States, I don't think Christians have fully come to understand that every institution that wears that Christian label may be Christian in name only.
So that brings us to this idea of refuge.
And when you think about what a refuge really is, I have a dear friend who's a Marine and he talks about Paris Island.
He says that's the American refuge, right?
And what does he mean by that?
He means that we have a place where traditions are strong, the resources are present to train, and it's a safe, stable environment for the training of the next generation of warriors.
Well, that's what a university should be.
Training for truth and beauty, to explore the right, the true, the good, and the beautiful.
Something that is objective, not just subjective, not something that is bowing down to deconstructionism, right?
So because there are so few and far between places where you can do that, I said our university needs to be this refuge, this place not just for where students can come and be trained, but also a place where faculty and staff who have been marginalized elsewhere Could potentially come and find solace, find refuge, and really have a Christian community that's not just retreating from the world, but really temporarily coming together to strategize anew in order to be able to go forth and fight in the long battle with evil, whatever form it takes.
This is so important because we've had some Christians, some Catholics say it's, you know, The Benedict Option.
We've got to retreat.
We've got to get out of this ungodly world.
I'm incensed by that.
That's not our mission.
Our mission isn't to hide.
You used a phrase in that speech.
You talked about a holy university.
That really struck me because you don't hear that phrase a lot.
A holy university.
What is your dream for Southern Wesleyan?
What is your dream for Christian liberal arts in general?
Yes, that's a loaded question.
I think to sum it up, I would say a holy university, holy simply meaning set apart by God for a special purpose.
To do what?
To do the work of the university.
To see students intellectually and spiritually transformed by God to in turn go out and transform the world.
That's our vision for Southern Wesleyan University.
That we can be this bastion for truth and beauty in the world.
And you are an optimist that if we have enough of these bastions on the mountaintops that we can take back Western civilization and save it?
I hope so.
That is our prayer.
That's what we work for.
In terms of optimism or cynicism, you know, catch me at the right day at the right hour.
I might be one of either.
But I will say this, whether we're optimists, cynics, pessimists, whatever, that approach, we are called simply by God to obedience one way or the other.
And that calls us to be pursuers of truth, goodness, the right, the true, the good, the beautiful.
The right, the true, the good, the beautiful, as my friend Andrew Clavin's latest book is titled, The True and the Beautiful.
That's why we are here, and it all drives back to God.
That is the source of the good.
He is the good.
He is the source of truth, and we have to rediscover that.
And I am honored to be associated or You know, indirectly through my muse with this organization.

Next time it won't just be baby formula, it could be the staples for life.
I've got a plan, because I've trust in the biggest and the best in the business, My Patriot Supply.

All right, I promised you this story, it's shocking, but not in the way you understand it.
Left wing magazine, Trump hating Newsweek.
If you're a conservative and you write for Newsweek, you're helping the other side.
Had an article this week on the front cover concerning the FBI and Trump voters.
And the title of it is The Enemy Within.
Exclusive.
FBI targets MAGA as the 2024 election nears.
I don't want to read from Newsweek because they're scum, but let me read to you from the summary of the Federalist.
Testimony from more than a dozen current or former government officials who specialize in terrorism to Newsweek confirmed that the increase in targeting of MAGA voters was born out of the FBI's decision to lump Trump supporters into its expanded definition of domestic extremism under the acronym of AGAAVE, Anti-Government or Anti-Authority Violent Extremists.
And here's the most important quote you need to hear.
One unnamed senior intelligence official told Newsweek that he believed, quote, Trump's army constitutes the greatest threat of violence domestically and politically.
That's the reality and the problem set.
If you're a real whistleblower, you give this to me.
You give this to Breitbart.
You give it to a conservative outlet.
The fact that the FBI leaked this to Newsweek, which is left-wing, tells you what this truly is.
This is a propaganda statement meant to intimidate you from voting for President Trump.
Understand the buried lead, the real story.
They've declared war on you if you support President Trump.
That's the truth about Newsweek, the FBI, and the next election.
Let's go to your calls.
Let's go.
Oh, he's back!
Bill wants to recommend a speaker for the house.
Hey, Bill.
Yes, how you doing?
Good.
What's your recommendation?
Who should the speaker be?
I think Stephen Miller, I heard him a couple nights ago and he revealed, I think it was on Jesse Waters' show, that he is going to meet with the committee.
Hang on, hang on.
Are you kidding me?
Stephen Miller?
Have you ever seen him speak in public, Bill?
He's very articulate, I know that.
No, no, no, no, no.
He's very smart, but he's not articulate.
Those are two different things.
He's very smart, but he's not charismatic.
He's not a leader of men.
He's the guy in the back room who writes the papers for the president.
I know Stephen Miller.
Would you call him a charismatic leader, Bill?
I think he could do it.
No, no, no.
Bill, Bill, go back and watch some interviews with him, okay?
Go back and watch interviews with Stephen Miller and then call us back.
Let's go to John, San Diego.
Hey, Sebastian.
Schumer claims that a handful of mega-extremists caused chaos by ousting McCarthy.
Yeah.
So would that be the 208 Democrats who unanimously voted against McCarthy?
Oh, give that man a t-shirt.
Yeah, we were saying this in the break.
Schumer doesn't like the extremists that got rid of Kevin McCarthy.
Oh, you mean like every single Democrat in the House?
I guess the FBI should be tracking those extremists.
What do you think, John?
Well, and no one in the media, when he said it, had the sense to question him about it.
Well, of course they don't, because they work for him.
The media works for Chuck Schumer.
They work for Biden.
Of course.
But that's bloody genius.
Well done, John.
Stay on the line.
Let's give John... Well, he can choose.
He can choose the mugshot mug, the mugshot t-shirt, or the mugshot yard sign.
Yes, we have yard signs with the president's booking photo.
In a very simple phrase, Trump 2024.

But it's not just me.
It's people like Debrin from Massachusetts.
This is Debrin's story.
I just started taking Relief Factor four days ago.
My hip pain is gone.
I had a horrible time sleeping because of the pain.
I absolutely love how I am feeling.
Thank you, Relief Factor.
That should be your story, shouldn't it?
Don't you deserve to know?
If Relief Factor could work for you, I think you deserve to know.
Find out today.
There's only one way, but it's super easy.
Go to reliefactor.com, order the three-week quick starter pack.
It'll be at your door in three days or less.
Take it more in eating like I do.
And I promise you, Dr. G's guarantee, by the end of those three weeks, you will know whether it works for you like it works for me, Debrin.
Obviously, everybody knows he's made some comments.
He's got a checkered past.
He's alleged... I'm sorry, a checkered past?
I would ask... It's my turn.
Alleged affairs relationships with... That's not true.
He had alleged relationships with Yum Yum.
I ask the gentleman's words be taken down.
Yum yum, fang fang, these things are hard to remember.
Oh my gosh, we love that.
A congressman, former sheriff, a veteran.
I think we should try and get him on the show.
But first things first, you've had it with the transgender lunatics, right?
The men that are cheating in female sporting events.
There's somebody pushing back.
She's that brave swimmer who said no to Will Leah Thomas Riley Gaines.
She's a heroine and we support the amazing decision by Morton Blackwell of the Leadership Institute to give her a new home.
It's the Riley Gaines Center that's going to fight for women's rights in the classic sense of the word meaning Real women.
Please support her right now.
The website is teamriley.org.
We need more like Riley Gaines and we need to stop, put an end to this madness.
You can text the word real As in real woman, to 30102 to support her, that's the word real, to 30102, or just go to her new website, teamriley.org, that's teamriley.org.
Portions of America First are brought to you in part by the Leadership Institute.
All right, who was that man talking about yum yum on the floor of the house?
None other than Congressman Troy Nels.
Welcome to America First, my friend.
How are you, Sam?
It's good to be with you, brother.
Good to be with you.
It's great to have you back on the show.
I have to first put up this photograph of you that you posted earlier this week when a certain congressman colleague of yours tripped a fire alarm.
You were holding, I think, a pair of your sheriff's handcuffs and a cigar in your other hand and offering to arrest him because that Member of Congress, that Democrat, Jamal Bowman, he did commit a misdemeanor, correct?
No, he committed a felony.
But he also... He committed a felony.
He pulled a fire alarm in a federal building.
But he also interrupted an official proceeding, which means he should get at least 22 years in prison, right?
Well, yeah.
Remember, Garland, Christopher Wray, all those nutjobs threw the who's now for what they did on January 6th. This is
even more outrageous. He actually, he actually pulled that fire alarm. This guy's such a dumb
dumb. He thought it was a doorknob.
Give me a break that the fire alarm I think is red. I don't see doorknobs being read. The guy
is a liar. He's a lunatic. All right. Is he going to get away with it though, Congressman?
Well, look at the DOJ and allowing the Biden administration to become, you know,
take millions of dollars from foreign adversaries.
What do you think is going to happen?
With the corrupt DOJ and the FBI, I don't think anything is going to happen to this guy.
I think it's shameful, quite honestly, but go ahead.
Let this guy walk and see how the American people feel about that one.
All right, let's talk about the events that have occurred since then, since that fire alarm.
Let's talk about the the ouster of Kevin McCarthy.
What is your prediction?
What will happen behind closed doors next week when you come back?
And we have some candidates.
We have Jim Jordan.
We have Steve Scalise.
But maybe is there a third option, Congressman Nels?
Absolutely right.
And I will be nominating Donald J. Trump Yes.
for the Speaker of the House when I arrive on Tuesday afternoon.
I just think he's the right guy for the job if you look at what that man accomplishes,
our president.
And there are many members of the current Republican conference out of the 222 that
have either asked Donald Trump for an endorsement in their election or their reelect with their
running for Congress, or Donald Trump endorsed them or they endorsed Donald.
So there's a lot of people in that room that have asked for his support and endorsed him for president.
If they're willing to do that, why can't we get him to be our speaker?
And it would be very interesting to see how a court would enforce, as we see with the judge in New York, a gag order on Donald Trump if he's the Speaker of the House.
That would be a little complicated, wouldn't it, Congressman?
That does come into play with some of those things.
You know, the Speaker at the House, he would be required to be there.
He would be required for votes.
I think having him up there, but I'm telling you, right now, we have a divided Congress.
We really do, Seb.
I mean, you've got great candidates.
I think Steve Scalise is awesome.
I think Jim Jordan's awesome.
Yeah.
But I just don't know if any one of the current candidates We'll have enough to get to the 218.
I'm hoping we do.
The sooner we can find that consensus candidate, the better we are.
But if we're looking at days, weeks, or months, I highly recommend we put Donald J. Trump in there in the interim until we can figure it out.
Congressman Nels, please follow our guest at Rep Troy Nels.
That's N-E-H-L-S.
He is the Republican congressman for the 22nd District of Texas.
I just read out on air this clearly planted report at Newsweek from the FBI that they are now targeting as extremists MAGA voters.
As a former law enforcement professional, as a veteran, as a member of Congress, would you react to the news that the FBI is targeting as extremists people based solely on the fact that they vote for President Trump?
Now, I tell you, with some of the actions, the activities that the DOJ, the FBI has taken, spying on Americans like Carter Page and others, it wouldn't surprise me if there's an FBI agent listening to this phone call right now.
If you are, get the hell off the phone.
I'm talking to Seb, okay?
I'm talking to Seb.
But it wouldn't surprise me.
I think they're so desperate.
They want to destroy anybody, anybody that has a little bit of love, affection, and support for Donald J. Trump.
They call us terrorists, is what they do.
Shame on them.
Shame on them for everything they've done to attack the American people that have a dissenting point of view.
Shameful.
Last time I saw you in person, we were having cigars at Mar-a-Lago, where we have to do that again in the near future.
In the meantime, follow this man at RepTroyNels.
Thank you, sir, for everything you do.
And I like this idea.
Even if it doesn't happen, but putting President Trump's name on the list for Speaker of the House, Oh my gosh, the left-wing heads would collectively explode.
I'm Sebastian Gawker, this is America First, coming to you live from the ReliefFactor.com studios.
Relief Factor, it's real.
It works.
It is liberating over a million Americans right now from their daily pain, including me.
Yes, I had a lower back pain issue that plagued me for nine years, almost a decade.
I took Relief Factor Two weeks later, I was pain-free, and I'm still pain-free more than four and a half years later.
But it's not just me.
It's people like Yvonne from California.
Listen to Yvonne's story.
Both my husband and I are in our 70s and are so grateful to have found Reliefactor.
We tried so many other solutions but none of them have given us the freedom
of being pain-free like Reliefactor. Just those two words pain-free should be
reason enough for you to order the three-week quick starter pack at
reliefactor.com. It'll be at your door in three days or less.
Take it morning and evening like I do.
And I promise you, Dr. G's guarantee, by the end of those three weeks you will know whether it works for you like it works for me, Yvonne, and more than a million of your fellow Americans.

www.helpline.com you
you you
You're listening to America First with Sebastian Gorka, former strategist to President Donald J. Trump.
Thank you, thank you everyone.
Um, sports.
If you want to talk to me about cricket or rugby, I can do that.
But, um, football, American sports, I'm still learning.
But at least I know how to pronounce the word tyranny, unlike Karine Jean-Pierre, the White House Press Secretary, who actually doesn't even realize she can't speak English.
Cut eleven, play cut!
We will continue to take actions to support Ukraine in their fight for freedom against tyranny and to curb Iran's destabilizing activities in the region.
Jeff, she actually read the word tyranny, and then she didn't go back and correct it.
What does that mean about her?
That means she doesn't know how to say it, because you would have caught yourself when you do that.
It happens every now and then, but then you catch yourself.
She just kept going like she delivered the line perfectly.
Like she's an idiot.
All right, let's talk about something you do know about better than I do, and that's sports, and especially politicized sports.
Give us the latest about what is going on.
At ESPN, Jeff.
Well, they're starting a new show about racism in sports, because you see so much racism in sports all the time.
Yeah, you know what there is?
There aren't enough white people playing basketball.
There's real racism in sports.
I mean, if you want to talk about... Will it be about that?
Will it be about the lack of white guys in basketball?
Unless he's changed his tune, because it's going to be head up by Ibrahim Kendi, so it's... Hang on, hang on.
Hang on, the guy who just got kicked out of Harvard and had his center shut down for mismanagement, Mr. Don't-Be-A-Racist, he's going to be on ESPN?
So I guess ESPN now is more liberal than Harvard.
I guess that's what they feel.
That they're taking the people that are kicked out of Harvard now.
You watch this stuff.
Do people put up with this?
Having sports politicized this badly, Jeff?
If you look over the last 10 years, other than live events, ESPN is down a ton, their viewership.
Right.
And this is the main thing.
It's not just the race.
It's the whole polarization of sports.
They do it all the time.
And they don't learn their lesson.
That's what I can't understand.
But what about advertisers?
Do advertisers still stick with them after they go this insane wokeness?
The live sports is where they make their money.
Right.
So when they have their programming, they can get away with, I guess, just writing that off.
But how long is it going to last?
That's what I want to know.
You would think, and this has been going on for a long time.
Yeah.
I can, when I was at ESPN radio in like 2010, because people that work at ESPN now, you see these articles and they're getting sick of it.
I don't know how you couldn't see it then.
In 2010, I saw the writing on the wall.
They got all their affiliates together.
When you're thinking about a story, it's got to be this, this branding.
I can tell this exactly.
This is liberalism.
It's what they want you to talk about.
And you're having a lot more fun now, aren't you, Jeff?
I can't imagine trying to work there now and try and act like I'm outraged at these stories that they... people that aren't even outraged are, that have to pretend to, to toe the company line.
They have to fake it.
Hopefully it won't last much longer.
All right, dear friends, next up we're going to go deep dive on what's happening in America.
Is there a plan to counter it?
Can we save the Republic with one of the greatest brains out there, an expert on dictatorial tactics?
It's the Deep Dive, the long-form interview.

Bye.
I feel bad sometimes about the clips we use here on America First.
We only have three hours a day.
Jeff works hard to get me the best audio actualities.
Eric gets me the video clips.
We get B-roll from Guy.
But we don't leave a lot of time for historic.
Clips.
And there's so much to choose from.
As you know, I was born and raised in the UK.
I grew up under Margaret Thatcher, a true champion of conservatism.
And I looked over the Atlantic at the Gipper, at Ronald Reagan.
Where are leaders like Maggie and Ron today?
And we could just spend so much time with endless, endless Clips of what they had to teach us and to warn us of.
Here's one that you can't hear often enough and is the perfect way to tee up our special guest.
Here's a warning from one of the greatest presidents of the United States.
Someone very profoundly once said, many years ago, that if fascism ever comes to America, it'll come in the name of liberalism.
And what is fascism?
Fascism is private ownership, private enterprise, but total government control and regulation.
Well, isn't this the liberal philosophy?
The conservative, so-called, is the one that says, less government.
Get off my back.
Get out of my pocket.
Have we not arrived at that point?
We are told every day by the Democrats, by the left, that, oh, they're protecting democracy, as conservatives are put in prison, as the IRS targets conservative organizations, and as so much we hold sacred is being dismembered and dismantled.
Let's put it all into historic perspective with one of the greatest experts on the threat of extremism, especially communism, in America today.
He's the editor of the American Spectator.
Welcome to America First, Professor Paul Kengor.
Thank you very much, Seb.
Good to be with you again.
Did we find you in reverie?
You were looking very thoughtful there for a moment.
Well, you know, that quote from Ronald Reagan, I gotta tell you, so I could have maybe been better prepared for this.
So Reagan said that – how do you put it, Seb?
A wise person once said that fascism, if it comes to America, will come in the form of liberalism.
And I was looking for a quote from – I don't know if I could pull it up quick enough on my computer.
Yeah, I found it.
You can tell we don't rehearse these interviews.
We just kind of pounce on our guests, and when they're a professor of political science, they're there in their office, and they're typing away.
So what have you found for us, Professor?
I'm working for you, right?
So I have it at my fingertips.
So it reminded me of a quote from Alexander Trachtenberg, who was later identified by Whittaker Chambers.
And Ronald Reagan's two favorite books were The Bible and Witness by Whittaker Chambers.
So Alexander Trachtenberg, who was later identified by Whittaker Chambers as the head of the Soviet GPU in the United States.
That's military intelligence.
That's exactly right.
And Alexander Trachtenberg told Bella Dodd, and as you know, I did a book on Bella Dodd.
This is a direct quote from Dodd.
I got it right in front of me.
Trachtenberg once said to me, quote, when communism comes to America, it will come under the label of progressive democracy or liberalism.
It will come in labels acceptable to the American people.
And Dodd had several variations on that quote.
She also said that socialism would come to America in the form of liberalism.
So that's indeed something that the left has been pushing for a long time.
And as Ronald Reagan pointed out often, And as you, Seb, understand, I mean, fascism and certainly Hitler's fascism was socialism.
I mean, the Nazis were the National Socialist German Workers' Party.
So Hitler was a socialist.
Mussolini was a fascist.
And also a socialist.
Mussolini invented the concept of fascism, the fasces that he stole from the Roman Empire, the bundle of twigs that when wrapped together, tied together, are much more stronger than they are separately.
And he was an avowed socialist, absolutely.
Now, this leads me to our first question, and please make sure you're following the good professor.
His website, his publication is spectator.org, the American Spectator.
He's the Director and Professor of Political Science, Grove City College.
That's gcc.edu.
I want to ask, I don't want to get lost in the weeds, or get too philosophical, but there is a challenge here with what we are witnessing in America, and it goes to taxonomy, or the question of categories.
You're a child of the Cold War, I'm a child of the Cold War, and we understood democracy, or the Republican system, the Western world, versus communism.
We got that.
Successfully, the left has Obfuscated the fact that, you know, communism and fascism are exactly, you know, they come from the same root.
But the competition was between freedom and slave nations, the captive nations as we used to call them.
In America today, are we needing of a new label Because we don't have gulags, we don't have a gulag archipelago, we don't have political prisons like the one my father served in, but we do have political prisoners if you look at January 6th.
We may not have a secret police or a KGB or a GRU, but we have the FBI targeting people purely because they are conservatives or, quote-unquote, traditional Catholics.
So, Professor Kengel, help me out here.
It's not obvious to slap the word fascist or communist into what we are living in in America.
What is the best label?
How do we put the assault on American civil rights of late into the right descriptive context?
You know, that's a really great question.
And I wish I could give you an answer for exactly what the best label would be.
I mean, some phrases like maybe deep state, right?
We kind of know what that is.
We have a feeling for what that is.
Donald Trump kind of made famous the idea of the swamp.
Beltway is another term.
Our friend Mark Levin and others have talked about if we could break up the D.C.
bureaucracy simply by taking the different departments and moving them to different parts of the United States of America.
Like, for example, I mean, think about this.
Why is the Department of Agriculture in Washington, D.C.?
Right?
Because of all the cattle that I see on 16th, you know, in Constitution.
That's why.
Right.
I mean, it ought to be in, like, Omaha.
It ought to be in Wichita.
It ought to be somewhere out in the Midwest.
Ronald Reagan used to tell this joke about a bunch of farmers being visited by some New Deal bureaucrat from Washington, D.C.
And the bureaucrat says, I don't understand what you're all complaining about rain for.
I remember, it looks, I see right here in this guidebook that you got 45 inches of rain last year.
And one farmer barked out, he said, yeah, we'll never forget the night that it happened.
Right?
So they are so distant from where the actual problems are.
And so you've got agriculture in D.C.
You got health and human services in D.C.
I guess it makes sense to have the Department of Defense in D.C.
All right.
State Department in D.C.
OK.
But you've got all these different bureaucracies, all these different agencies.
And because they're in D.C., they become part of that culture.
Yeah.
And I mean, you see the voting patterns from Washington, D.C.
90, literally 90 percent of people in the- No, no, no, no.
I have a correction for you.
I have a correction.
It's 90.3.
90.3 percent of D.C.
votes Democrat.
Yeah, yeah.
And so that is not representative of the American people.
What do we have?
We don't have a democracy.
The left says that all the time.
In fact, Bella Dodd used to say, oh, democracy.
They always talk about democracy, democracy, democracy, right?
Well, the left in America does that too.
We don't have a democracy, we have a representative republic.
Yes.
But you don't have a very good representative republic if the federal government in Washington, right, that purports to represent all of America is all located in Washington, D.C.
So even a phrase like groupthink I don't think adequately represents what they're doing.
Bob Terrell, the founder of the American Spectator, used to call it culture smog.
It's the same smog, the same air that they all breathe.
So it'd probably be impossible to do this, but if there was a way that somebody, you know, take like a Donald Trump who wants to be a revolutionary president who takes on the swamp.
If somebody could get in there and just balkanize, break up some of the different departments, you can make a deal with them, right?
You can say, okay, listen, we won't cut your salaries.
But you've got to go live in South Dakota.
I've been talking about this for three years now.
The idea that we move it to where real Americans live will make a great, great difference.
But first, we have to get that...
Hang on, we have to get that revolutionary president back in the White House.
He's the author of a veritable library of books.
My favorite is Dupes, but also The Pope and the President, The Devil and Karl Marx, and The History of Bella Dodd.
He is the new editor of The American Spectator and also professor Of all things decent at Grove City College, please make sure you are subscribed to our podcast so you never miss the long-form interviews with our great guests, the real experts like Professor Kengor.
Give us a five-star review on whichever platform you use and support that man we need back in the White House.
We've put his booking photograph on a t-shirt.
Well, I think that was very good.
or get yours today at SebGorkaStore.com and more important than that, support him directly
at DonaldJTrump.com.
That's DonaldJTrump.com.
Well, I think that was very good.
That last five minutes was outstanding because the judge essentially conceded
that the section of other dictions that we want at the Court of Appeals is in effect.
Therefore, about 80% of the case is over.
I was going to come out and say that, as you know, we're not entitled to a jury,
which is pretty unusual in the United States of America.
So, I appreciate that.
You think it's very unfair that I don't have a jury, but the judge's last statement was very fair.
And if I read it right, I'll let perhaps one of the lawyers speak to it.
But maybe you'll speak to it, if you would.
But the way I interpret that, and the way everyone else in the room seems to interpret that, is that the statute of limitations is a very real thing in this country.
And that would be about 80% of this case would be over.
That was, of course, President Trump talking outside the New York court on Monday afternoon.
You used the phrase, Professor, of a deep state.
And I wrote a whole article about my experience with the deep state when I was in the White House.
It's the most recent article on my substack.
But again, I want to grapple with this question of We have to diagnose correctly to solve a problem.
And my issue with, you know, saying it's communism or fascism is this isn't Hitler's Germany in 1937.
This isn't, you know, the Soviet Union in the 1970s.
There's something different going on here.
And it's complicated by the fact that the deep state is real.
There are bureaucrats who think the identity of the president is irrelevant.
They will control the country.
As my former colleague Kash Patel stated on my show last week, it's not a deep state anymore.
It's in your face.
They're not hiding it anymore.
When you see the president come out of the court and he says, you do know that everything I've been charged with Eighty percent of these charges are actually expired.
They're beyond the statute of limitations.
When he's being charged with multiple felonies by a county court in Georgia, and some of them include posting on Truth Social that his followers should watch the televised session of the Georgia House, or texting people to say, encourage our supporters to call their state representatives And a social media post or text or chief of staff is now treated as a felony?
We've crossed some kind of line, have we not, Professor, that this isn't surreptitious anymore, this is blatant abuse.
Yeah, and it's compounded by the difficulty of categorizing it, defining it, right?
You have to be able to define the threat before you can respond to it.
And so you're right, what do we call it?
And it's too sloppy and easy to say, well, it's like fascism.
or they're a bunch of commies, right?
Right.
And in fact, this certainly wouldn't be traditional Marxism-Leninism.
Most of the Marxism operating in America today is on a cultural level, right?
I mean, it's dealing with sexual issues, gender issues, race.
So that makes it even more difficult.
Would it be, and I know this doesn't help with the general public, would it be correct to say that what we are witnessing is the final successful implementation of Gramscian Marxism or, you know, Rudi Deutschke's march through the institutions?
That's why we are where we are today.
Well, we're seeing that with academia, media, culture, the tech area.
And then what you're seeing in D.C.
with the bureaucracy, I think that's just an altogether different beast.
And it's unionized.
It's living in D.C.
You can't cut it.
You can't reduce it.
You can't lay anybody off.
And it is completely intertwined with the Democratic Party.
So it's this kind of Democratic Party bureaucratic industrial complex, right?
And so that deep state, whether it be the FBI or these other groups that go after whoever they go after on the right, whether it be Donald Trump or whoever, they do it with a media that protects them, right?
Right.
They do it with a democratic media.
And making it even more difficult, this isn't like trying to respond to the Kremlin where everybody's sitting in a war room in the Kremlin and deciding on the lines of attack.
No, this isn't organized.
It's just the beast kind of being what it is.
This is another question I grapple with because I don't like conspiracy theories or conspiracy theorists.
I think it does great damage to the conservative movement when you have, you know, garbage like QAnon peddled and still, you know, things like it today.
I don't believe, you know, I don't believe there's one person.
I don't think it's George Soros or Obama, you know, sitting out in a hollowed out volcano with some joystick that is, you know, moving the amoeba of the left.
I think it's a cultural phenomena.
I think it is the function of just literally millions of people who have been conditioned to think the same way.
Would you concur?
Yeah, it's a wider kind of left-wing culture.
And yeah, like I said, Bob Terrell used the phrase, culture smog, that kind of just permeates, pervades all of it.
And so when they, like, let's say they, who would they even be?
Let's say when the state goes after somebody like Donald Trump with aggression, and they don't even have to do it.
They could do it out in the open or not out in the open, but they're protected by a sort of media protectorate that allows them to get away with it.
So the media doesn't scream outrage or foul or, why are you doing this?
You shouldn't be allowed to do this, like they would if a Republican was going after a Democrat.
And then it's also aided and abetted by the larger Liberal Democratic Left.
I remember, speaking of January 6th, right?
I remember writing a piece on this for American Spectator when January 6th first happened.
And I condemned what happened.
I said, you know, these people should not have been doing that.
They shouldn't have been pounding on the building, climbing on the building, going inside.
But this kind of language from people like Charlie Schumer and Nancy Pelosi and others comparing this to Kristallnacht, right?
The Night of the Broken Glass in Nazi Germany, comparing it to 9-11.
Comparing it to 9-11, right?
And they're still doing it.
They're still doing it.
And not only that, you have Schumer, the most senior Democrat in the Senate, whilst President Trump is in office, on a Sunday morning news show, Making, it seems like, completely open threats to the incumbent Commander-in-Chief, saying literally, we have seven ways from Sunday for the intelligence community to go after you if you get on the wrong side of them, which is, hang on a second, who does the intelligence community work for?
It works for the individual who is elected by the American people, who has a mandate as the Commander-in-Chief, and you're saying what?
That now that they're autonomous entities?
So, I like what you've done with this You've added to the industrial complex concept that it's the Democrat Party, the media, the bureaucracy.
Maybe we're talking about a new giant industrial complex.
We're talking to Paul Kengor, The editor of the American Spectator, Grove City College, gcc.edu, spectator.org.
Don't forget to follow us on all social media platforms.
We are everywhere that matters.
Just look for Seb Gorka or Sebastian Gorka on Truth Social, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Parler, Getter, Telegram.
You can watch the show on the Salem News Channel app and don't forget my sub stack where I have a new article On this topic, exactly, my experience of the deep state in the White House.
That's SebastianGorka.substack.com.
SebastianGorka, one word, .substack.com.
All right, let's go back in time a little bit, Professor.
I started the show with a clip from I think I'm making you think.
I think I'm trying to, with my text, so many questions.
What?
Yeah, can I say one other thing about this?
Yes, yes, yes, yes.
I know, and listeners can tell, we're grappling with this, right?
We're trying to get a handle on what this is.
And then you add to this kind of culture smog, or whatever it is, Democratic voters, Democratic jurors, right?
And when they hear someone like Charlie Schumer and Nancy Pelosi comparing January 6th to 9-11, 3,000 dead Americans, and comparing it to Pearl Harbor, guys like you and I, Seb, we think to ourselves, well, no one's really going to believe that, right?
But their voters, their Democrat voters, are so emotional.
And I've emailed with these people three or four years since then.
They believe it.
I mean, they hear, oh, Charlie Schubert's comparing this to 9-11.
These people are like Osama bin Laden, right?
They actually believe it.
They actually believe it.
And then those people who are at the building get tried by juries in DC who treat them like Osama bin Laden!
And as my former Salem colleague Larry Elder said, if you've been told for four years incessantly by the New York Times, CNN, the Washington Post, MSNBC, that the man in the White House is a white supremacist, is a Nazi, then you go, Well, why wouldn't you steal an election?
I would hope if I were a German patriot in Germany in the 1930s, I would hope I would steal the election from Adolf Hitler.
So the idea that people are surprised that crazy things are happening in courtrooms, at polling stations.
Well, if you believe the insanity, then you will do insane things.
We opened the show with a clip from Ronald Reagan.
You mentioned one of his favorite books, along with the Bible, was witnessed by Whitaker Chambers.
I'd like to just ask you a quick question, just get it off the table.
With the great work of the late, great M. Stanton Evans, what do we need to know about communism in America in the 20th century, Professor?
What is the truth about Senator McCarthy and his accusations?
Well, I mean, McCarthy gets accused of hyperbole for saying that there were Communists in every agency in the federal government, but there were.
I mean, there's no question about that.
And I mean, we now know from the Venona papers and other documents that it might have actually been worse than even McCarthy thought that it was.
And of course, even the worst part about this is not just that they were communists, right, maybe even like a small-c communist, somebody who believes in communist ideology, but you had people who were actual members of the Communist Party.
And if you went so far as to actually join Communist Party USA, I mean, you put your right hand in the air and you swore a loyalty oath to, quote, work to ensure the triumph of Soviet power inside the United States, unquote.
You were committed to what they called a Soviet America.
As Langston Hughes, who's now read in all of our public schools as a civil rights poet, put it, put one more S in the USA.
To make it the U.S.S.A.
when we take over.
So they were committed to a foreign government that we were at least in a Cold War with.
So that's why it was a big deal.
I mean, these weren't just Democrats or liberals or even some milder form of socialists.
They were dedicated to Joseph Stalin's government.
And let's be clear what that gentleman was saying.
We're talking about the United Soviet States of America, where these people are supporting a party and an ideology which was explicit.
This isn't our interpretation or the professor's interpretation.
The Soviet system and communism was explicit from Karl Marx on down.
Communism And free markets, democracies cannot exist together.
They are mutually exclusive.
Either the world has democracies or it has communism.
That was the absolute article of faith of the communist movement.
We're talking to Paul Kengor, Professor Kengor.
He is the editor of the American Spectator, spectator.org.
Demoralization now reaches such areas where previously not even Comrade Andropov and all his experts would even dream of such a tremendous success.
Most of it is done by Americans to Americans, thanks to lack of moral standards.
As I mentioned before, exposure to true information does not matter anymore.
A person who was demoralized He's unable to assess true information.
The facts tell nothing to him.
Even if I shower him with information, with authentic proof, with documents, with pictures, even if I take him by force to the Soviet Union and show him concentration camp, he will refuse to believe it.
Incredibly important video.
My friend Dan Bongino plays it with regularity on his show.
There's several versions of it.
It's Yuri Bezmenov, former KGB officer who worked undercover in India and then escaped to the West and lived in Canada.
A series of videos where he explains what the Soviet Union was watching.
Professor, I watched a podcast to do a little video about what Yuri Bezmenov got wrong.
And he says, Yuri Bezmenov taught us about how the Soviet Union is demoralizing the West, how they're attacking our sense of who we are and indoctrinating the next generation.
And this young podcaster said, the only problem with Yuri Bezmenov, the late Yuri Bezmenov, is it's not the Soviets It's absolutely right.
I mean, we are demoralizing ourselves.
This is a threat from within.
Americans. Your reaction to that critique of Besbanoff, the defector?
It's absolutely right. I mean, we are demoralizing ourselves. I mean, this is a threat from within.
And I've known about the Yuri Besbanoff clip for years. In fact, I quoted that at length
in my book, Dupes, which came out, I think, in 2010.
And the first time I saw that, Seb, it was, I think I got it on DVD from somebody.
And when, if you look it up online, they try to connect Yuri Bezmenov to the John Birch Society and the left tries to find a way to discredit it.
And I think the guy who interviewed him might have been a member of the John Birch Society.
But so what?
Somebody had to interview the guy.
The stuff they've written about him, you know, his Wikipedia entry of, oh, how he had a difficult relationship with his wife and he drank too much.
I mean, they so try to destroy him.
Why?
Because he's right.
Well, Ted Kennedy had a difficult relationship with his wife and drank too much.
In fact, I quote Besmenov in Dupes talking about a picture of Ted Kennedy at a wedding in Moscow that people are going to find this hard to believe, maybe even on this show.
The Soviets used to stage fake weddings.
In fact, I quote in Dupes, a New York Times article from the 1950s on Soviet fake weddings.
They would bring Western dignitaries from the United States and from the West to the Soviet Union and entertain them with a party.
And in one case, there's a picture of Ted Kennedy actually dancing with a bride at a fake Soviet wedding.
And Besmenov worked for Novosti, the Soviet press agency.
And he said, my job was basically to wait at the airport for Western dignitaries, meet them when they got off the plane, and ensure that they were drunk from the moment they got off the plane until the moment they got back on the plane.
And they would try, they would do whatever they could to spy on these people, to blackmail them, and Ted Kennedy was one of the people that they used, that they used and abused.
So, Besmodov understood this exactly right, and the only thing, like you said, that I would disagree with is, it didn't take the Soviet Communists to demoralize ourselves.
I mean, the rot is going on from within.
And even people like Vladimir Putin, who you and I certainly are no fan of, right?
But Putin talks all the time about the cultural rot and the moral rot of the West and the United States.
And of course, to use your phrase, dupes, from your book, this creates dupes of conservatives who say, oh, Vladimir Putin doesn't like homosexuality and is pro-marriage.
Therefore, he must be a good guy.
I mean, how little they remember the Cold War.
I guess the phrase propaganda is no longer relevant to these people.
No, and also the phrase desinformatio, which is a Russian term, but it means disinformation.
And the KGB, before Putin went into public life, he spent 15 years in the KGB.
He was a lieutenant colonel in the KGB.
He learned disinformation.
We saw right away when the Russians invaded Ukraine in February 2022, what was the first thing that they did?
They said, we're going there to denazify the Ukraine.
And it's not, I mean so Orwellian, it's not an invasion with tanks, it is a quote special military operation.
Right, right.
Yeah, yeah.
That's so classic Russian desinformatia.
It's so Soviet.
And shame on people in the United States who swallowed that hook, line, and sinker.
And especially people on our side, on the right.
Now, let me criticize the left here.
All of a sudden, you've got American leftists and liberals who are Russia hawks.
I mean, have you noticed that?
Isn't that ironic?
Isn't that ironic after, I mean, it was, wasn't it Ted Kennedy who established relations with the Brezhnev Kremlin to say, if I can help you with, you know, getting Reagan out of office, just, just say so.
Now, now, now that they're, now they hate Russia, what, how, what is that irony about, Paul?
Yeah, now they don't have an American flag hanging outside of their homes.
They have an LGBTQ rainbow flag and a Ukraine flag, right?
And you wonder, yeah, how did these people become so anti-Russia, anti-Kremlin all of a sudden?
Well, they convinced themselves that in the original election, when they were talking about election fraud, that the 2016 election was stolen by Donald Trump working with Vladimir Putin against Hillary Clinton.
Right?
So that was one thing against him.
And then add to that that Putin is anti-same-sex marriage, anti-transgender.
He says, we will have mama and papa in Russia.
So these are all reasons for the left to hate Vladimir Putin.
And so now all of a sudden the left's loaded with a whole bunch of Russia hawks.
It's stunning.
It has nothing to do with communism.
No, it has nothing to do with communism.
We're talking to Professor and Director at Grove City College, Paul Kengor.
He's the author of numerous works, every single one of them worth your time.
Dupes, how America's adversaries have manipulated progressives for a century.
The Pope and a President, John Paul II, Ronald Reagan, and the extraordinary untold story of the 20th century, and the devil and Karl Marx, and most recently, with Mary Nicholas, the devil and Bella Dodd.
Professor, you're one of the few educational institutions left in America that isn't completely woke and pushing out indoctrinated young men and women, along with the amazing Hillsdale College as well.
Can you give us a sense of the future?
Can we defeat We seem to be a nation of dupes right now.
There seem to be tens of millions that think socialism is great, Venezuela is the model.
Can we get back to being what Reagan spoke of, the shining city on the hill, without either a radical reform of higher education and lower education, or do we have to just ignore it and build anew?
Well, I'm not optimistic.
I mean, Ronald Reagan, of course, as you said, talked about America as this shining city upon a hill.
He also said that we were illuminated as a country by what he called the twin beacons of faith and freedom that brighten the American sky.
And that's one of my favorite kind of Reagan formulations.
And where are we today in America?
Well, we have freedom, but the light of faith is really dimming.
And that you take away faith and you're going to be left with just one beacon, that of freedom.
It's going to be a lot more difficult to navigate yourself around.
It's going to be a lot darker.
And that's what's under threat.
It's really important where you send your kids to college.
And in fact, people go to our website, The American Spectator, spectator.org.
And if you click in the upper right corner, you can see our special print edition on higher education.
We have about two dozen colleges in there that we recommend.
They include Grove City College, Hillsdale, Pepperdine, Franciscan University, Thomas Aquinas.
But there's only two dozen that we could come up with.
Right.
How many colleges in America are there?
There are thousands.
So it's a shame, but it's not too late to send your kids to the right school.
All the time.
I mean, parents will come up to me at my church or wherever, and after all these years of carefully schooling Their kid in a private school, classical school, maybe home school, religious education, everything else.
They send Jimmy or Susie off to secular U, and then they're surprised when Jimmy and Susie come home at Christmas time declaring that they're a radical pro-choicer and they've changed their gender.
Yeah.
And I feel like just shaking them and saying, what did you expect?
Right, and all the time they think, well my kid's really, he'll be okay, he'll be okay.
Right.
No, most of them can't withstand that.
Most are not okay.
And you've actually funded their indoctrination as their parents.
Right, with your life savings.
You, you have funded their indoctrination and they will hate you because of the school they went to.
Check out that guide at spectator.org.
There's no accident why his center is called the Institute for Faith and Freedom, just as the great Ronald Reagan taught us.
The website is spectator.org, and also grovesity's gcc.edu, and of course, any work with this man's name on the spine.
I'm Sebastian Gawker.
You've been listening to America First one-on-one.
