Sebastian Gorka FULL SHOW: The January 6th committee's true purpose

Text
Obviously it's disappointing, but not surprising.
And let's be clear about this, Sean.
This is not about me holding me in contempt.
It's not even about making the Capitol safer.
We see that by some of the selective leaks that are going on right now.
This is about Donald Trump and about actually going after him once again, continuing to go after Donald Trump.
And when we look at the real results of this investigation, it is not really, the foundation is not based on a legislative purpose.
Mark Meadows, former Chief of Staff to President Trump, telling you the truth.
The January 6th Commission isn't about him.
It's not about the subpoenas for Steve Bannon or anybody else.
It's about you, dear friends.
It's about anyone listening to this show.
I'm Sebastian Gawker.
This is America First, broadcasting from the reliefactor.com studios across the nation on the Salem Radio Network.
Where do all my stories that I tell occur?
John, do you know where my stories occur?
7-Eleven.
Or... Where else do they occur?
Eric, there's two options.
Walking the dogs.
Three options.
Geoff?
Post office.
Yes!
We got it!
Okay, John got one, Eric got one, Geoff got one.
The stories of my... I must be a really boring guy.
They occur in 7-Eleven.
Walking my dogs, that's not boring, that's fun.
Or the post office!
Today, and it really segues beautifully, it doesn't actually segue, it connects like connective tissue to the Mark Meadows throat.
And did you hear the texts?
I don't know whether to be just furious or happy that the Democrats are digging their own graves politically.
So we had Liz Cheney.
That disgrace of an American.
Read out on the January 6th Commission the texts from Fox News hosts and others, Donald Trump Jr.
to Mark Meadows saying, there's violence at the Capitol, President Trump has to say something.
Couple of reactions.
Number one, what the hell are you doing reading private text messages?
You had no warrant.
The U.S.
Constitution is very explicit.
The authorities of a Committee of Congress are very clear.
You have no right, according to the U.S.
Constitution, to investigate anything that is not pertinent to specific legislation.
That's what these committees are for.
There is no legislation pertinent to Mark Meadows' texts.
And the fact that US phone carriers handed over that privileged private data with not one legal warrant should disturb all Americans.
Secondly, thank you Liz Cheney.
I'm very grateful, as are all patriots, for what you did by reading out those texts.
Because in one fell swoop, in the space of less than 120 seconds, you destroyed the raison d'être, the reason for existence of the committee of Nancy's witch hunt.
Why?
You're supposed to be investigating a so-called insurrection, a planned coup by the Trump supporters and President Trump to take power, which is weird because he was the president, so anyway.
If the text messages that were read out yesterday speak of violence catching the Trump administration by surprise and then people close to President Trump and the Trump administration say, oh my gosh!
Shock!
Horror!
Can the president please do something?
What does that mean?
Let's ask Eric.
What does that mean when it comes to insurrections?
Um, well, doesn't it mean that there was no insurrection in this case?
BINGO!
Give that man a cigar or a piece of British chocolate, whichever he prefers.
If you weren't listening yesterday, I got a very nice Christmas present.
Selection of British candies from my childhood.
Yes, if you are shocked and surprised that there was violence and you're asking the president to do something about this surprising violence, It means there was no planned insurrection.
So, the whole committee should have shut up shop as soon as they acquired those texts.
Of course, they won't.
Because if you switch on CNN, if you switch on MSNBC every morning, what is the only thing they talk about?
They're not talking about the tornadoes anymore.
They're not talking about Waukesha.
That's for sure.
Why is that not a story anymore?
Is it a race thing?
Was the killer the wrong skin color?
Were the victims the wrong skin color?
Does it not fit into the CNN, MSNBC narrative?
What an outrage.
People's lives don't matter because of their skin?
Color?
Who are the real racists in America?
Joy Reed?
Don Lemon?
Who are the real bigots?
I could say Cuomo, but not anymore.
Oh, by the way, I'm getting a little bit kind of free association.
Chris Wallace, I just realized this, Chris Wallace Great career move there, Wallace.
A real doozy.
Okay.
Let me tie it all up with a little bow.
What has the committee got to do with 7-Eleven?
I'm standing there getting a cheeseburger from my Nepali friend who runs 7-Eleven.
And some big guy walks past me in overalls and he says, PSP!
I'm going, who's he talking to?
I keep on, you know, paying for my goods.
And then he, from the back of the store, he goes down one of the alleyways, down one of the aisles and says, Presidential Service Bin!
Oh, yes, I am wearing a presidential service pin.
Good for you.
Are you a Marine?
Because usually it's only the Marines, the pilots of Marine One who recognize the presidential service pin I always have on my suit.
So no, no, no, I worked in the White House for 15 years.
So what did you do?
I was in the carpet division.
Okay, he fixed, kept the carpets of the White House as they needed to be.
And we started chatting.
Great guy, I'm not going to use his name.
And then he said, Oh, yeah, I saw your car outside the Mustang with all the Trump stickers.
I had a Trump sticker on my van.
But somebody keyed it.
So I took it off.
Friend.
Is that how much America means to you?
That you're afraid to express your political identity?
That's the purpose of the January 6th Committee.
And now more than ever, you need courage.
More than just bumper stickers.
Do not ever, ever censor yourself.
Guys, we're getting very, very close to the target of a thousand kids.
Let's do it.
The Prison Fellowship, Chuck Coles' amazing program, The Angel Tree, where we get gifts, Christmas gifts, to kids who have lost a parent to the prison system this Christmas.
One of them is Joseph.
He's eight years old, and he's so grateful to you.
I will write to my dad about what happened.
One Christmas gift I got from Angel Tree was a drawing pad.
That was my favorite I got.
I also got paint and colored pencils.
I knew he knew what I wanted and he got the right thing.
My name's Joseph and I love Angel Tree.
We do too.
Please make a difference for children like Joseph.
If you've donated, thank you.
You're doing the Lord's work.
If you haven't, will you do so today?
25 bucks gets one of these girls and boys a Christmas gift from their incarcerated parent.
A message of love and the gospel.
It's one of the most blessed things you can do in your life and at Christmas time.
Please donate as much as you can.
Go to sebgorku.com and click on the angel tree banner at the very top.
You are literally doing the Lord's work.
As our Lord and Savior told us, come unto me the little children.
Call 888-206-2794 to donate.
That's 888-206-2794.
Or just go to my website sebgorka.com and click on the angel tree banner at the very top.

The sad fact that for a portion of this country that January 6th has been rewritten already Soviet style.
Fox has been engaged in the Soviet-style rewriting of history around January 6th from almost the evening of the attack, despite their anchors knowing better as we've seen.
It's metastasized even further with these false flag narrative documentaries.
I know big words.
He earns a lot of money for not being able to pronounce metastasized.
Amazing.
All of these wannabe scientists.
What is the one Biden always gets wrong?
No.
Omniacron?
Vice President Harris?
What's the guy that, uh, what is he?
Chris always makes fun of it.
He also always says manufacturing all the time, too.
Yeah?
Manufacturing.
Manufacturing.
Isn't that sexist?
Why not womanifacturing?
Personifacturing.
There you go.
Can't have gendered language here.
No.
All right.
50 seconds.
It's so absurd what America has come to with all these crazy leftists.
I mean, it's just absurd.
Who would have thought in 2021 that's what we're arguing about?
Well, I think a few people could have predicted it.
A handful.
A handful.
Only a few.
you. 30 seconds.
Uh...
You. 30 seconds.
You. 30 seconds.
Portions of America First are brought to you in part by Prison Fellowship.
Alright guys, I gotta ask you a question.

No one better to discuss the events of the last 24 hours or six years than former attorney to the president, Jenna Ellis, host of the Jenna Ellis Show, my colleague here at Salem, You can follow her, Jenna Ellis, ESQ on all platforms.
Jenna, welcome back in studio.
Always great to join you, Seb.
For the next crazy of the day that we're talking about.
You were talking in the break, like, how crazy is it going to get?
Even more crazy, I think.
Let me do something.
You're from real America, okay?
I am.
You're not from the swamp.
Thankfully.
So, as I was driving to the studio today, this thing kind of occurred to me.
Maybe me, maybe my whole team, we're just too much in it.
We're in the swamp, we're dealing with it every single day.
Do average Americans even know there is a January 6th committee?
Do they know what's happening to former Trump employees?
I don't think so, and there's a good and bad of that.
First, there's the good in that nobody cares because this has been such a ridiculous narrative that, again, the leftists are trying to drive, and it's going to go nowhere the same that all of their other narratives and all of this, we just have to go through the motions.
And Liz Cheney, even with these texts yesterday, basically kneecapped herself by- That's what we said.
You nailed it.
by reading these going, obviously, if Donald Trump Jr. is going, whoa, oh my gosh.
If he's shocked and surprised.
If he's shocked, then clearly this wasn't premeditated.
So there's that.
But then there's also the side of it.
See, I tried to explain that, but I'm not a lawyer.
She used the fancy word premeditated.
That's what I was looking for.
For 11 minutes, the word premeditated.
You nailed it.
Thank you.
Yeah, absolutely.
But then there's the other side of it, which is that the American public who supports Trump and supports all of his policies, voted for him, loves him still, they need to know how much the D.C.
swamp, including the GOP rhinos, like Liz Cheney, like Adam Kinzinger, are absolutely harassing everybody who was close to Trump.
And that includes Mark Madison.
I mean, it includes me.
People are harassing me, too.
Let's talk about this.
So it's funny.
I was listening to Dan Bongino earlier today, and he told this story about how conservatives are quietly texting him saying, Dan, Dan, your name is being mentioned in the subpoenas, potentially.
And he's getting all these texts.
Okay, good.
Bring it.
And I said, as he's on air, I texted, Dan, that's funny because I'm getting the same text and I'm telling people, good, bring it.
Because I was meant to be one of the speakers on January 6th, so Gawker's name is floating around.
Don't you love that everybody texting is like, people are whispering your name, and it's like, who isn't?
And who hasn't been for the last six years?
I mean, who cares?
Who cares?
So here's where I have schizophrenia, and this is why you have to assist me.
So on the flip side, you say, yeah, well, most Americans couldn't care less, or they didn't know there's a January 6th committee.
But, on the obverse, the fact that Liz Cheney, a congresswoman, without a warrant, is reading out private text messages on the floor of the House, Everybody should be angry, shouldn't they?
Absolutely.
Everyone should be angry about what the January 6th Committee is releasing, including, by the way, and I'm not going to get into the substance of this, but including, by the way, Politico releasing two attorney-client privileged memos.
From me to the president.
How do they do that?
And it obviously came from the committee.
Well, that's privileged material.
Right.
But nobody cares.
And this is the thing.
They are trying to utterly destroy every type of privilege.
This isn't an oversight committee.
They have no authority to actually be doing what they're doing.
Who made this point that constitutionally you can't have a special committee unless it is with reference to a specific legislative act of Congress.
And Molly Hemingway has tweeted brilliantly about this, where she said there is absolutely zero legislative purpose in reading those text messages, in disseminating and leaking everything that they have in over 6,000 pages of documents from Mark Meadows.
All they're trying to do is go on a fishing expedition.
And if this were a court of law, if the rules of evidence actually applied, and the rule of law applied, not these vigilante, crazy January 6th commission committee members, none of this would happen.
And that's what the American people need to be very upset about.
So let me ask you.
I did this as a layperson.
One of the people who has been subpoenaed called me about a month ago and said, Seb, what do I do?
Do I cooperate?
And I said, don't give those bastards a stinking scintilla.
But my lawyers aren't sure whether I should hand over... What do you mean?
Because they'll treat you fairly and they won't twist those documents?
Don't give them anything.
Your advice as a lawyer.
Well, as a lawyer, I think that it's a double-edged sword, because you do have to cooperate with subpoenas, but sit there and tell the truth, and say, this is privileged, if it is.
And don't give them that.
Don't let them coerce you into Yes.
Because think about this.
If executive privilege is shattered through this, first of all, the Democrats, of course, are going to raise it when it suits them down the road.
But if the precedent is set through the court system and the judicial branch, then any person who is an aide to a president is always going to have in the back of their mind, what if this conversation comes up in front of Congress?
What should I say?
They're always going to have it rather than giving candid, open advice.
Like when I'm sitting with a client in a room, giving them advice on trial strategy.
Absolutely.
Or just talking about, okay, here's candid advice.
You need to have that privilege.
That's why privilege exists.
And so if the committee is just saying, well, it doesn't matter, and we can now call anybody in that we want and ask you all of this confidential information, then why did we have executive privilege to begin with?
So that a sitting president can have candid conversations with their advisors.
And so many people on Twitter are like, well, that doesn't cover crime.
Name me one frickin' crime That the committee is under insurrection?
No.
This is such a complete BS committee.
This is not about treason.
It's not about insurrection.
This is all about the January 6th committee trying to bully people into manipulating a narrative that somehow President Trump is responsible for something that is absolutely, absolutely not his fault.
But that's what they've been trying to do for the last six years.
What about when it comes to these phone companies?
Is there anything we can do against these phone companies that are giving out data without warrants?
Well, and that's a whole other question, and I think there needs to be lawsuits on that regard, because if we remember, Apple used to be the beacon of privacy and saying, you know, sorry, we're just the carrier.
The San Bernardino killers.
They refused to unlock their phone.
But now, why is this any different?
Oh, just because it's Congress.
No, it's just because it's Trump.
Yeah.
We're talking to Jenna Ellis.

Mic's on.
Don't feed the trolls.
Yeah.
It's sometimes hard.
Because I want to point out their stupidity.
But yes.
Is Zeldin phone or Skype?
Phone.
From our Rumble Chat, Jenna, user Robbity Bob says, nice scarf.
Oh, thank you.
That was the scarf.
What was that?
It was, that was, um, yesterday.
That was Thingy's tie.
Cavuto's tie.
Cavuto's tie was his scarf.
Seriously?
That's hilarious.
He was wearing the Burberry.
Like the Burberry.
In a tie?
Okay, the scarf is good.
Tie?
Yeah, tie.
Well, you know, but it's Cavuto.
He has, he has interesting fashions.
The dress sense of an ostrich.
Well, so you're saying he has a plumage?
I am.
I'm saying he has a plumage.
A grey plumage.
That is hilarious.
God.
That's one of the most curious comments.
How does CNN, I mean, CNN must be paying Wallace.
Oh.
Why would you pay Wallace?
I addressed this on my show yesterday.
Really?
Yes, because this is fascinating to me that Wallace is going to leave Fox News Sunday and go over to CNN Plus because Fox knows that it is completely aging out its viewers on regular cable.
People my age, we don't pay for cable.
But the question is who on earth is going to pay for CNN Plus?
Nobody.
It's insane.
You gotta wear two masks in the shower to pay for CNN Plus.
Yeah, right, right.
The idea that a cable network with half a million viewers can get anybody to pay?
I mean, even Fox.
I mean, I got this from an insider.
Fox for Fox Nation is struggling.
They had to give free access to all their employees to bump up the numbers.
That's hilarious.
And they're trying really hard with Tucker Carlson originals.
I think that's keeping it afloat.
Yeah, and it's shocking to me, too, when Tucker's show is live and they have this banner saying, click on Fox Nation right now.
And I'm going, you're actually encouraging your viewers.
To click over.
It's like if you watch anything on YouTube from Fox, right at the end, shorthandedly comes in, don't forget, Fox Nation!
That's right, yeah.
Okay, you must be doing really well.
Like a handful of my friends who do have Fox Nation have said, oh yeah, I only subscribe for Tucker's documentaries.
Like his January 6th documentary, that's all on like- But how much content does he make?
He makes stuff every week, right?
The Tucker Carlson Today, I think it's- is that daily or is that weekly?
There's three of them weekly.
I was gonna say I thought it was weekly, but yeah, so they see they've bumped it up now.
I think he's probably keeping them alive.
Yeah.
He needs to just- If Tucker left Fox, they would be- That would be amazing, actually.
Okay.
JCN- Alright, I'm gonna use the- Not to go to CNN Plus, but- I'm gonna use that cut three, but I'm gonna do some other stuff first, and I'll tee it up.
Okay.
JCN merch, and- JCN merch.
And also, why would Chris Wallace go now when everybody is leaving for being crazy slimy- Well, maybe he's a sexual pervert as well.
I don't know.
Who knows?
And, you know, you gotta wonder.
We'll be right back.
We'll be right back.
Portions of America First are brought to you in part by Stand With Israel Tour.
President Biden!
Oh my gosh, I can't even say that phrase.
The old git in the White House has declared that Covid shouldn't be a political issue.
But they've made it a political issue with their vaccine mandates, which are going to kill small businesses.
Costly, cumbersome and controversial.
They just want to serve their customers at Christmas time.
They don't want to have to let their employees go.
That's why the Job Creators Network is suing the Biden administration over the illegal vaccine mandate.
Whether or not it will take effect and how much of the workforces they can protect is yet to be known.
But these cases are expensive.
JCN is doing it on behalf of the lifeblood of America.
The small businesses that employ more than 60 million Americans and they need your help.

Because it's just so excellent.
So excellent.
All right, let's get back to work.
Let's have a fun CNN clip because, well, it's not news.
This is Jim Schudo and John Avalon and I want Jenna Ellis to respond.
Cut three.
The sad fact that for a portion of this country that January 6th has been rewritten already, Soviet style.
Fox has been engaged in the Soviet-style rewriting of history around January 6th from almost the evening of the attack, despite their anchors knowing better, as we've seen.
It's metastasized even further with these false flag narrative documentaries.
I can't even pronounce metastasized.
Who is doing Soviet propaganda in America?
CNN, yeah.
But this is where they are trying so hard to create not just a narrative, and this isn't just about propaganda, it's about programming.
And it's about making sure that anyone and the few people who still watch CNN go with their narrative even though everything else that we have in terms of fact and reality flies in the face of their narrative.
So just keeping it alive is what they're doing.
And they've done this before.
I mean, when we look at the Mueller investigation, how they beat that dead horse well into the ground, the first impeachment and the second impeachment, I mean, everything that they do, if they had some other thing that they thought would play better in the ratings and get more attention, they would drop this 1-6 thing like a hot potato.
All right, so let's talk about the committee itself.
In your analysis, as somebody who's advised President Trump as his attorney, will this backfire for Nancy, or is this the only shot they've got for, you know, distracting the American people?
You know, I would hope that it would backfire for Nancy, but at the same time, it's going to take every American who actually cares about our system of government and limited government and following the rule of law to care about showing up at the polls in 2022 and showing up well before then, by the way, in state legislatures that need to pass election integrity laws.
To make sure that every legal vote counts and counts fairly.
To make sure that we have poll watchers.
To make sure that this isn't just about the Democrats retaining power.
Because if this were about truth, if this were about accountability, if this were about our system of government being within the margins of the U.S.
Constitution, they wouldn't have gotten away with even what they have.
But that's the scary part.
You're a utility player.
I have to ask this question.
You've got 60 seconds left.
Next thing to watch when it comes to election integrity.
What's the next place audit?
What should we be paying attention to?
I think we need to be paying attention to Arizona.
Mark Fincham is having an election integrity hearing.
I believe that's supposed to be next week.
So definitely follow him.
Mark Fincham, he is running for Secretary of State out of Arizona.
That hearing is not going to get a lot of coverage on mainstream media for obvious reasons.
But we need to be paying attention to that because I think what they're going to provide and even discuss during that hearing is going to be very relevant and profound.
Not probably the best time to have a hearing, just a few days before Christmas, but we will keep our eye on it, especially if you listen to her podcast, The Jenna Ellis Show.

One of the people we appreciate the most is the man who we Dilley Hope will be the next governor of New York.
He represents the 1st Congressional District.
Welcome back to America First, Congressman Lee Seldin.
Hey, Seb, it's great to be with you.
I cannot understand what is going on in NYC.
I don't know.
Can you help me?
So, more masks, mask mandates, and the new bills to allow non-American citizens to vote in elections.
Is there no point at which the insanity stops, Congressman Zeldin?
Well, it stops with Bill de Blasio at the end of this month.
Thank God he has turned out.
He is leaving office in just a few weeks, but on the way out the door, he's punching a whole lot of other people.
As you point out, about to sign a bill just passed by the New York City Council to allow non-citizens to vote in local elections.
And today, a new requirement went into effect that all children over the ages of five Would have to be vaccinated if they want to go eat inside of a restaurant.
They want to go to a movie theater, a museum and more.
Last Monday, when enacting this mandate, they also enacted de Blasio, a citywide mandate on all private sector employers that all employees in the city of New York have to receive their vaccine by the 27th of December.
So it's coming.
From many different directions in the city, you add on to it the statewide mask mandate that HOCA launched that went into effect yesterday.
And when does it stop?
You know, in New York City, de Blasio is gone.
It may not be until November 8-22 that voters get that last say in firing this governor next.
Right, so what effect is this happening on New York?
Talk to us, really.
I mean, your plan is to save the state, but what's happening in the meantime?
What does New York City look like, and how many people are leaving the state because they've had enough, Lee?
Every day, people are hitting their breaking point and they're fleeing.
All across the country, people saw the story last week of the Fox News Christmas tree that got burned down.
The arsonist gets released instantly on cashless bail.
There was another arsonist who was released the next week, gets arrested for a double homicide.
You hear stories all the time of people getting released on cashless bail.
People want safety.
They want security.
They want to be involved in their kids' education.
They care about their freedoms.
They want to be able to afford to survive.
And that's why they're leaving.
And meanwhile, the other side, they're trying to instill fear in the population about this new Omicron variant.
They believe the answer on COVID is more mandates to have firings and threats and fines and just to segregate society and torture people.
And you know what?
They're saying they've had enough.
They're going to go to another state where their money goes farther.
They feel safer.
They live life freer.
we have to reverse that here, but there are people who've decided enough's enough They're not even waiting.
Well, I want you to support this man.
If you're from New York, he is running for the governorship, ZeldinforNewYork.com, ZeldinforNewYork.com.
But Congressman Zeldin, it's not just about, you know, the average people who are being victimized by the fearmongers.
We talked about it at the opening of the show.
We just talked about it with Jenna Ellis.
We're going to talk about it with Mark Meadows on my Newsmax show.
The January 6th committee has the same purpose.
It's not about Omicron or COVID, but it's about using fear to control your fellow American, is it not?
It is about a group of people who don't want to focus on the issues that truly matter most to Americans.
When I'm walking the streets of New York, if I ask the average person, what are your top 5, 10, 20, 30 issues?
January 6th.
Honestly, what they're telling me is what we were just talking about.
They are talking about how they want to support law enforcement more, not less.
They care about their son or daughter's education.
They care about that new mandate that's coming down that might be firing a loved one because they haven't gotten vaccinated yet.
Those are the issues that are making people hit their breaking point.
But there are people in the media, there are some in Congress, there are others around the country Who don't want to focus on all these other issues because the crises are piling up.
All they want to talk about is January 6th.
And it's an obsession that unfortunately is causing other issues to, whether it's supply chain, it's inflation, like real issues across, you know, from Afghanistan to the southern border and more are just falling by the wayside.
No, no, no bandwidth for that conversation.
And people end up suffering as a result of that.
Well, as long as you keep fighting, there is hope, especially for New York.
You can follow this man.
You can support him at his website, ZeldinforNewYork.com.
His Twitter is Rep Lee Zeldin.
Rep Lee Zeldin.
Lastly, I heard That you had a very interesting theory that you tweeted out.
Unusually, the current incumbent of the White House did not attend the Army-Navy game.
What is your theory, Congressman Zeldin, as to why he didn't?
I was at the Army-Navy game on Saturday.
It's at MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, New Jersey.
It's an 83,000 capacity stadium.
And I don't know exactly why Joe Biden, President Biden, Vice President Harris, why they chose not to attend this game.
But I'll tell you what, if he did show up, there was likely going to be the largest let's go Brandon chant that any of us are seeing or heard.
So, you know, it's for the White House to give a reason why they had all sorts of time to hang out over the weekend and not do much.
They weren't going to the southern border.
They weren't focused on these other issues that we care about.
They couldn't make it to the Army-Navy game.
Maybe it's because they realized that he would have gotten roasted right out of the stadium if he was walking across that field.
That chant was likely going to happen, in my opinion.
It would have been memorable, and I guess he didn't want to deal with it.
He is also a military intelligence professional.
He doesn't have the intel for that supposition, but it is a very, very credible theory.
Could you imagine the Commander-in-Chief being roasted alive with the Let's Go Brandon chant at the Army-Navy game?
He just couldn't risk it.
God bless you, Zeldin!

This is a headline I had to send to Jenna as soon as I saw it.
It's from The Atlantic.
The Supreme Court is playing constitutional Calvin Ball.
What?
You ever read Calvin and Hobbes?
Yeah, I love Calvin and Hobbes.
The sport they play, Calvin Ball, where the whole joke is they literally just make up the rules as they go along.
So the Atlantic is like, the Supreme Court's doing the same thing.
I'm like, how dare, how dare this scribbler, you scourge the name.
All right.
Titles.
Um, Zeldin.
Why didn't Biden go to the army Navy game?
Why didn't Biden?
That's for Zeldin.
Yep.
For Jenna.
Nancy's dangerous game.
And for 1A.
Yeah.
Too, too, like T-O-O, too afraid for a Trump bumper sticker, question mark.

You're listening to America First with Dr. G. Hey Eric, there's a cut I didn't get to yesterday.
Can you play for me the one from Jill Biden?
It's just, it's delicious.
Cut 14 from yesterday.
And one more question on that on the polls, because there have been some recent polls that show that quite a few Americans have some questions about the president's current mental fitness.
As somebody who spends... I can see you shaking your head.
Yes.
So what's your response to that?
I think that's ridiculous.
Really?
Two brain aneurysms.
Footage of him on a stage not knowing whether you were his sister or his wife.
A man who gets irascible at the drop of a hat, like people with dementia so often do, but it's ridiculous.
That's why I have no sympathy for you.
For him or her.
Maybe he needs a good night's sleep.
Do what I do!
Let's send him some pillows!
Let's get Mike Lindell to send the White House some pillows for Sleepy Creepy Biden.

Welcome to America First.
Hey, Sebastian, I thought of a word that could be applicable to so many Democrats, and the word is emotionations, which means emotions that come from imagination.
So they, you know, they come up with stupidity about COVID, and they say that two-year-olds have to get vaccinated.
And if they hear that you didn't vaccinate your two-year-old kid, then they get all emotional about it, and they say you're crazy, and they get all mad about it.
And the Russian collusion hoax, they convinced themselves that Trump colluded with the Russians, and they got all emotional about that too, and so on on down the line.
Yeah, I like that.
Emotionations.
Combining their emotions with their rabid, rabid imaginations.
Let's get Alex in America first.

It's that time of the week where we tune into, we connect with the Northern Territories with our What shall we call him?
A presidential historian, a justice reform advocate, a former media mogul.
Let's just call him Lord Conrad Black.
Lord Black, welcome back to America First.
Thanks very much, Sebastian.
I've been called worse.
Well, look, what is it Churchill said?
If you have enemies, it's a good thing.
It means you've stood up for something in your life.
Your latest piece, we're posting it right now on Twitter, on Facebook, is Our Vulnerable American Democracy, amgreatness.com.
We love the website.
You start with a long list of Basically every institution.
I know one is missing, because it hasn't failed, and that is talk radio.
But from the judiciary, the executive, the legislature, the media, the academy, military leadership, Wall Street, Silicon Valley, on and on and on, you list how they've just lost the confidence of the American people and what this means for the future of the republic.
And at the end of the article, this one sentence I wish to highlight.
Political conditions are more dangerous than at any time since the bottom of the Great Depression 90 years ago.
What is the scenario then?
Isn't it very difficult?
Isn't it very slow for institutions to win back the trust of the citizens of that nation, Lord Black?
Not necessarily.
I think there are two ways of reversing this.
One is, and I must confess I see no sign of it at this point,
The Democrats, who put together a coalition in their extraordinary determination, in this case the Democrats and the anti-Trump Republicans, the pre-Trump political establishment whom he threatened, they put together a coalition that, in order to make the broadest possible tent, the widest possible, most inclusive group of ingredients of the political
community, tolerated extremists in their midst.
The extreme wing of Black Lives Matter and some of the, not in physical terms, but in economic terms, extreme leadership elements in some of the unions, including the teachers' unions, they took it all in and took their votes and turned a blind eye to the A famous summer of peaceful protests in which I think 50 police were killed and over $2 billion damage was done.
If the Democrats would now purge the extremists and go back to being the Democratic Party we remember from LBJ and Hubert Humphrey and Bill Clinton and even Jimmy Carter, a centrist, though generally somewhat left of center, but centrist party, a moderate party.
If they went back to that, I think between the two parties, with taking on board some of the lessons of the Trump experience, would rebuild public confidence, because they would behave in a way that would justify it.
But they show no signs of emancipating themselves from the squad and the Sanders wing, who are not violent, but they are extreme in policy terms.
And the actual forces of violence.
I mean, they now recognize, generally, that Black Lives Matter is substantially a lawless organization, but they don't seem to be taking any distance from it.
And if they don't do that, they're going to be absolutely massacred by the Republicans a year from now and at the next presidential election.
And that will resolve the issue.
I mean, not as a straight partisan attitude, But the Republicans will then, whether they're led by President Trump or someone approved by President Trump and supported by him, are going to finish the job he started of uprooting, rooting branch, those elements of that complacent political establishment that gave us endless war in the Middle East, the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression,
The erosion of the Western alliance, China running amok all over the world and running up America's back in spiked golf shoes, they will stop all of that.
And then confidence will be restored.
But the point is, it will be restored because though these elements of government and society and leadership, the elites, have lost the confidence of the country deservedly, The free system in the United States, the free competitive meritocratic system will operate in one way or another.
They will be replaced by elites that deserve the confidence of the country.
My question, I'll ask this next, and that's whether the swing of the pendulum is enough to restore faith in the institutions.
But first, Let me address this description that they haven't rejected the violent, the pro-violent wing.
They haven't done something about the squad.
But isn't it worse than not doing anything?
They've actually doubled down.
We look at the January 6th so-called insurrection committee and in the last 24 hours, Lord Black, without warrants, just by the capitulation of the phone companies, we have members of Congress that are reading Privileged information, text between private citizens and the President's Chief of the Staff on the floor of the House.
I mean, this is a Democrat Party out of control, is it not?
It is.
It is, and grossly abusing its position, as by a narrow margin, the majority of the House of Representatives.
The matter of the electorate will almost certainly put right at the first opportunity.
But in doing that, They will gradually continue to appall and disappoint American opinion.
That's not what congressmen are elected to do of any party.
They're not elected to break the law and then conduct an authoritarian sweep and intimidation of elements of the private sector in order to read confidential material under the congressional record.
Secondly, it will achieve nothing because no authorized Republican from the then president, Mr. Trump, down did anything prior to or during the 6th of January that the Democrats can make anything into.
The insurrection narrative is just as much a fatuous, malicious fiction as the idea of Trump-Russian collusion in the 2016 election or the idea that he did anything improper whatsoever in his telephone call to the president of Ukraine.
It's just another pack of partisan lies which finds its source in the hysterical phenomenon.
fear of the old political establishment of the damage Trump can do to them because he has lifted the rock for the whole country to see how rotten and incompetent they had become.
Yeah I'm going to ask you in our next segment I'm trying it's the I've never been accused of being an idealist but at some point in time after the last four years especially in the just the uncontrollable vituperation the assaults verbally the scandalous calumny against the president his family you're trying to Thank you.
Answer the question why there is such hatred for the man.

- I use it from time to time, and it's not particularly clever, but it's a short-term way of putting them all together.
I'm going to use it in the next segment.
It's quite, the way you describe it, that 28 years is basically, you know, three families.
It's kind of disappointing out of 300 million people that... You know, if you think about it, for 32 years, now here we're going back to the start of Reagan, but for 32 years in a row, one Yeah.
the Bush or Clinton families, one of them, was either the president or the vice president or the secretary of state.
Now the first two terms, Bush was a perfectly competent, Bush senior, was a perfectly competent vice president for President Reagan and it was a very good administration and Mr. Bush was part of it and an important part of it.
But after that, you know, the Bushes and the Clintons weren't real dynasties.
I mean, the real dynasties are, you know, Roosevelt and, I guess, Harrison, but there, and Adams, those three, where the presidents were in different generations, and, you know, some distance between each of them, and in some cases, different parties.
I mean, here, you just had the greatest offices in the country being handed back and forth Well, I think you'll agree that Bush Sr.
wasn't really presidential material either.
You know, a good administrator, but that's about it.
I think he was a man who served the nation.
He was a war hero at a very young age, and I think he was a good man, but he wasn't a good political leader.
He allowed Perot to split the Republican Party, and he never would have had the Clintons without that.
What should he have done with Ross Perot?
Offer him a cabinet position?
I mean, taken a strong enough leadership position that there was no room for a person like Perra to make inroads.
As Mr. Nixon wrote in his memoirs, George Bush Sr.
was a good man, but an ambiguous figure, and he wasn't decisive enough to build a real following dedicated to him for policy reasons or personality reasons.
But I think it would be wrong to lump him in with some of those... Oh, no, no, no, no, no.
I'm just saying, you know, a good man who served his nation, but not presidential material.
Well, not on the political side.
I think he did an adequate job as president.
But, you know, he's also supposed to lead his party successfully, and he didn't do that.
Yeah.
50 seconds.
Do you want to do prison fellowship?
No, no, no.
That was fine.
That was fine.
You want to come in with anything?
I think I'm just going to go straight to Code Red.
Okay.
All right, 40 seconds.
Standing by.
Are you there?
Yes.
Sebastian?
Yes.
I mean, it looks to me like, from the standpoint of the administration, it's just going from bad to worse.
I don't see anything getting better anymore.
No, no. No,
no. no. No, no.
No, no. No, no. No, no.
Welcome back, dear friends, to America First with me, Sebastian Gorka, member of the National Security Education Board, former strategist to the president.
This is the Salem Radio Network, taking your calls on 833-33-GORKA, 833-334-6752.
But first, we will continue our discussion with Lord Conrad Beck, the author of numerous works on prior presidents.
We're discussing his latest piece, Vulnerable American Democracy.
In it, you use the phrase The O. Bushington political class and you have a fabulous though disturbing summary of 30 years in politics.
Bush was the first president since Theodore Roosevelt to have politically ambitious sons and Bill Clinton the first president to have an electorally ambitious wife.
These families and Barack Obama ruled America for 28 years and it was not a time of good government.
How disturbing is that in a nation of more than 300 million?
And how much is that an explication or a reason for why we saw the choice of a non-politician in 2016 as president?
In the first place I should say that in fairness both President Taft And Franklin D. Roosevelt had sons who had political ambitions, and Taft's sons were distinguished senators, but they never got a presidential nomination, and FDR's sons never got past being congressmen, although Jimmy tried for governor of California, of all things.
But to answer your question, I think it has a lot to do with that.
I think that by 2016, Without anyone except Trump articulating it, the country was very tired of this idea of just passing it back and forth between the Bushes and the Clintons.
I don't want to use an often misused word, but it's un-American in the sense that historically that's not how the American system operates.
As we were saying earlier, not to Roosevelt's, but You know, Teddy retired in 1909, and Franklin came in in 1933, and they were different parties, and there were only six cousins, although Franklin's wife was Theodore's niece.
But that's not to say one handed it to the other, but that's what you've got with the Bushes and the Clintons.
And generally the United States doesn't like that.
I mean they're perfectly happy with people being president who had ancestors or uncles or something, cousins who were president, nothing wrong with that, but they don't want two families just passing these offices back and forth.
And beyond his not being a member of that class, and the class issue itself, You know, being the kid from Queens.
Have you found a good reason for just how much Donald Trump, to this very day, is detested by the establishment, in many cases on both sides?
Is it simply because he's not beholden to any interest groups like so many of the establishment are?
I'd say it's not just that.
I'd say, I'm being arbitrary here, but I'd say two-thirds It is the fear and resentment of those whom he would displace.
And I think this is the key to the media hostility.
He said the media is part of the problem.
He said the media is not telling the truth about the real condition of the country.
They are ignoring the fact that the working class and most of the middle class are discontented.
They don't have real growth of income.
Yeah.
Unemployment is being imported into the country by big corporations who use cheap labor abroad and grovel to the Chinese and other unacceptable regimes and the hell with the national interest of America.
And then there's a big part of the country that doesn't like it.
And the media are covering this up.
And the media are accustomed to thinking that they can make and break people.
They greeted the Trump candidacy, as you will recall, with almost universal disdain and absolute hilarity, splitting their side, laughing.
And when he was elected, they felt mortally threatened.
They felt that he was holding them up as a paper tiger.
And they went crazy.
And the rest of the bipartisan establishment, I mean, they change the White House every eight years and the Congress every four or six years, but it's the same people.
And the people actually work for the government are the same people.
That's why you get a 94% Democratic vote in the District of Columbia to 3% for Trump.
And they all felt threatened.
And that's two thirds, but one third is out of either outright snobbery or some, I mean, let us be frank, Sebastian, sometimes the former president says things that seem to be churlish, unwise, and boorish.
And, you know, we all make faux pas sometimes, but for men, it is intelligence.
And in such a great office, it was sometimes a bit jarring.
And most of the time, I found it refreshing because it punctured the pomposity of the over-formalistic, log-rolling, back-stretching, little ingrate around there that has far too much complacency and power.
But there was an element, a stylistic element, that legitimately bothered a lot of people.
But it's not that you particularly asked me this.
We're getting now is a total immersion, full frontal exposure.
Yeah, and if that political pendulum swings, my only concern is, and given your historical perspective, I wonder if you share it, given the almost complete list of institutions that are not trusted by the American people now, Is a political victory enough to win back the confidence in the institutions, or is that... How is that redeemable?
If you look at what the FBI has done, the DOJ, if you look at the military leadership, is a political victory for the other team enough to rectify the situation?
If it's handled properly.
If they simply decapitate all those organizations.
All the top of the FBI.
Everybody, three stars and up in the pen.
You don't have time to go through each one.
Sack them all, everybody.
But make sure the replacements are by merit, not just a partisan placement.
And in Cromwell's phrase, decayed servitors, which is what we are.
I mean, look at Milley.
That's what he is.
I mean, just overstuffed, man.
Can't even get a uniform that fits.
And his tunic has so many ribbons on it.
As I've said before, he has more than General Eisenhower, General MacArthur, and General Marshall, three of the greatest military figures and military statesmen in the history of the world in the time they lived in the 20th century, than the three of them combined.
And this is not how it should be.
I mean, you look at these pictures of the three men I just mentioned.
You never saw more than one or two.
Yeah, no, I posted one of General Patton in full regalia with his polished chrome helmet.
And I think he had three ribbons on his jacket.
And I posted one next to Millie with his highways worth of ribbons.
And it's an embarrassment, a total embarrassment.
But that is the historic perspective.
He is the co-host.
He's like a South American junta leader from 50 years ago.
Yes!
He needs a large kind of Soviet hat to go on top.
He is the co-host along with Victor Davis Hanson and Bill Bennett of Scholar's Incense, the author of so many superlative works including Richard M. Jen Psaki, we should call her Sarcastic Psaki.
That really should be her name.
She has a response to the idea of Americans trapped in Afghanistan.
And it's not what a White House official should say.
Cut eight.
And is this something, as there are now at least about a dozen who want to leave right now, is this something the president works on every day?
Certainly, he receives regular updates from his team, and the State Department and other national security officials really lead this effort.
I would just reiterate that the United States does not track or put a tracker on American citizens traveling overseas, whether they're in Afghanistan or any country around the world.
That would be quite a Fox News story, wouldn't it be, if we did that?
We don't do that.
What does that even mean?
That would be quite a Fox News story?
Is that an attempt to be a joke?
Are you trying to be funny?
Your boss surrendered Afghanistan.
Americans left the only strategic airbase in the control of a fundamentalist regime that harboured Al-Qaeda and made 9-11 possible.
And you're trying to make jokes about good Fox News stories with Peter Doocy?
And what is the point of, we don't put trackers on Americans?
He wasn't asking you.
Whether or not you knew that there are Americans left in Afghanistan, the question was a very simple one.
What are you doing to get those out who have expressed a desire to leave?
There's nothing to do with tracking.
They said, I'm here.
I want to leave.
What are you doing about that?
I have one friend.
He's been on the show.
I'm not going to mention his name right now.
He's too busy still working this issue without your help, Jen Psaki.
And he, along with very generous donors, along with people like Glenn Beck, who I doff my hat to with his Nazarene Fund, is a private initiative Have rescued 9,000 people from Afghanistan.
9,000?
And you're making jokes about Fox News stories if we put ankle trackers on US citizens outside of the country?
Do you have any idea, Jen Psaki, how much you disgust Americans?
That you think It's comical.
In a country where your administration resulted in the death of 13 American war fighters.
Hundreds of Afghans.
Deaths that didn't have to happen.
Deaths that presage more mayhem and more murder.
Why?
Because there is no over-the-horizon capability like your boss speaks of.
When you have no runways.
When you have no bases.
You can't fly a UAV from Maryland to Central Asia.
We are blind.
We are deaf.
Yeah, we've got satellites.
But that's just technical intelligence.
We have no human intelligence capacity.
We have no embassy.
We have no case officers.
We have no way to know what Al-Qaeda, what ISIS, is doing in the country which birthed 9-11.
But you think it's funny.
You think you can make jokes at the expense of Fox News and conservatives in America.
What's your culpability?
For the next scandal?
The next tragedy?
Will you make jokes about that one as well?
Sarcastic Saki.

Story from American Greatness.
Senator Richard Blumenthal, is that Danandic?
That is Danandic, right?
That's the guy who lied about being in Vietnam.
Said he was excited and proud to help the Connecticut Communist Party celebrate their 102nd anniversary of their founding.
Okay, I'm going to have to digest that, because I might have to blow a gasket if it's true.
OK, guys, Biden is doing it.
It's unconstitutional.
It's illegal.
But he wants to force vaccine mandates on small businesses.
How many of their employees are they going to have to lose?
What are we going to do to stop them?
There is one organization that's fighting back, the Job Creators Network.
They're taking it to the courts.
It's very expensive.
But with your support, they can help them.
Let the Biden administration hear your voice.

We're going to go to your calls in a second, but I need a sanity check.
I don't know if I'm going to get a sanity check from these guys here, but I'm going to get a perspective check from my team here.
It follows on from the conversation we had with Jenna.
So you guys all, like me, eat, sleep, drink politics.
We, you know, we live the swamp life.
We're on top of these issues every single day.
Does it warp our perspective?
You look at what the January 6th committee is doing, and I just wonder, are average Americans even paying attention?
Let's start with John Jr.
Do average Americans outside of the swamp pay attention to this stuff?
What do you think?
Well, speaking, I have a lot of friends who are not very politically inclined.
Why?
I don't know.
I try.
Listen, I try my best.
I try and have these conversations sometimes with people and I say, why aren't you going crazy about this?
There's so many insane things going on.
They're apathetic.
They'd rather figure out what's going on in their own life than worry about... Watch the latest thing on Netflix.
No, they want to laugh about it, if anything.
And that's about it.
Eric, are we focusing too much on this?
Is the average American paying attention?
I think it depends on the angle you go for.
So when it comes to January 6th, the committee is one thing.
The imprisonment of all those protesters for months on end, solitary confinement, no legal representation, the abuse, that's another thing.
And I think that is something that a lot of people in the base care about.
You know, I come from a humble little farming town back in California, and I remember talking to people there who were very much in tune with, you know, the way the election was stolen and everything, which that was the fundamental reason for why January 6th happened.
So, I think they care about certain aspects, not so much the parliamentary procedural stuff of holding and contempt and subpoenas and all that, but they care about the human cost, which is the hundreds of American patriots who are suffering right now.
Jeff, perspective, are we overemphasizing this stuff?
As far as what point?
What do you mean, for strategy, or what?
Yeah, for strategy.
Because we talk so much about this stuff, does it resonate with the average American who doesn't know what Nancy burped yesterday?
No, they could care less, and they have no idea about it.
So what's the best way to handle it?
Because it's, I mean, truly, I mean, think about it.
Would any American like to have their text messages just read out on the floor of the committee if they have the wrong political identity?
See, that's a different thing, too.
They're way overstepping again.
I think the theory is, it's how do you get the average person to realize how much they're overstepping?
And they've been doing it for years now.
That's, I think, the fight that you have to do.
Good.
Nicely put.
How do we get those who aren't politically engaged, who don't follow these stories, to understand the significance of what is occurring?
That nothing is sacred anymore.
If you are the wrong political identity, if you somehow Hey, Dr. Gorka, huge fan.
I've been listening.
This is my second time calling in.
I've spoken to your substitute a couple of times.
I can't remember his name.
833-334-6752.
Line one, Billy, Florida.
Hey, uh, Dr. Gorka, huge fan.
I've been listening.
This is my second time calling in.
I had spoken to, um, your substitute a couple of times.
I can't remember his name.
I'm so sorry, but I'm just calling because I had seen some information about that little fellow from down under, uh, Dan Andrews, They're trying to bring him on charges for treason in front of the Australian Parliament.
And I'm curious as to why, even going back to January 6th, right?
You have these people that are being held for what?
For absolutely what?
And they're in terrible, terrible conditions.
There's the Proud Boy leader, who I guess they have him held up And they're not even letting him work out.
Like, this is beyond... So what's the question, Billy?
Why are we not, as a people, as a whole, coming together and getting articles of treason against this current administration who is no longer... Well, who's... Billy, who's going to arrest him, and who's going to charge him, Billy?
I think that if we brought a civil suit... You can't bring a civil suit for treason.
Treason is a federal crime.
How would we go about it?
There has to be some precedent.
A private citizen can't bring a criminal case for treason.
Right, a private citizen, but what about a group of citizens?
You can't have kangaroo courts, you can't have a lynching just because you want to doesn't mean you can charge them.
Again, you have to have the elements of the system.
If you lose the elections, if the federal government, if the House, if the Senate, if the DOJ are not run by your party, you can't do it by yourself, Billy!
I know, I know, but I feel like we're just at something new, I feel.
It's just insanity.
I wake up every morning and I think, what new insanity?
What fresh hell are we living in at present?
Well, don't ask yourself what fresh hell you're living in.
Ask yourself the other question I ask people every Every single day.
What are you doing about it?
Are you making a political difference?
Are you running for local office?
Are you running for the local school board?
Because guess what?
They took over this country without a shot being fired, without a revolution.
They did it by stealing it from under our noses.
With Soros' money, with Mark Zuckerberg's money, with the privatization of elections, with 80 million mail-out ballots.
Guess what?
We can stop them, but only if you get involved.
We did it in Virginia.
Are you doing something about it in Florida?
All of you, out there.

His brother, his twin brother joins the army, right?
And he sort of sits down and reconsiders a lot of what he's thinking about because he's looking at this and being like, oh, wow.
It's a lot different when it's sitting right in front of you.
And he's gotten so much more...
He's one of my favorite people.
Those, yeah.
That really is, the way Jeff put it, that like, so many Americans were just unaware and before, we just woke up one morning and now, trans kids running around.
Like, that's how the left does things.
They work in the shadows and they take it over overnight.
They don't work in the shadows.
They do it openly, dude.
They work right in front of you.
They do it openly.
They take over the teacher training colleges.
They take over the schools.
Well, yeah, it's a bit of both things.
And the commercials on television, they're everywhere.

Let's go to your calls.
Let's go to Missy, line two.
Hi, Dr. Gorka.
I'm so happy to talk to you for the second time since you came on the air.
Thank you.
Well, welcome, Missy.
What's your comment?
What's your question?
Well, you were talking about Jen Psaki, and I just thought I would tell you that when I see her in my head, I say Jen Snarky.
Oh, that's good.
That's superb.
I love it, Missy.
I will use it with your permission.
Let's squeeze in one more call before we get to Bill Gertz.
Ken, Arizona.
Jen Snarky, I like that.
Go ahead.
Hello, Sebastian.
I have a simple test when I meet somebody I want to talk to.
I said, give me your wallet or give me your purse.
And they look at me like I'm crazy.
And if they don't, then I say, you must be a conservative.
And then I talk about Freedom Square. - Good. - So I think the reason that the elites hate President Trump, I remember on inauguration day, he said, I want to give America back to the Americans.
And I cringed because I knew that the ruling class would never allow that.
That's why they hate him.
And that's why he's a threat. - You know, bingo, bingo, bingo.
Yes, in the inauguration address he said, I want to give America back to the American people.
That's why they had to destroy him and that's why we have to get him re-elected.
Ken, you're a genius.
Stay on the line.
Let's give him an America first hat.
Superb, superb, superb.
Next up, one-on-one with none other than Bill Gertz.
China, Russia, the threat to America under the feckless leadership, or lack thereof, of Joe Biden.

Welcome, dear friends, to America First One-on-One, where we talk to the people who know, the newsmakers, the people who understand what is going on domestically and internationally, and we are uninterrupted.
We have a longer-form discussion to get you as much information as is possible.
And is relevant.
Today, a good friend of America First, somebody who has been speaking truth about national security for decades.
He is the national security correspondent for the Washington Times, author most recently of Deceiving the Sky Inside Communist China's Drive for Global Supremacy.
Welcome to one-on-one, Bill Gertz.
Good to be on the show, Sebastian.
Bill, with this long-form discussion, for those who aren't familiar with our guests, I'd like them to introduce themselves briefly at the start of our discussion before we dive in.
So, for those who don't know who Bill Gertz is, which I find hard to credit, tell them how you got to where you are today and what your career has been today.
Just give us a little resume of Bill Gertz.
Sure.
Since 1985, I've been writing for the Washington Times as a reporter and columnist.
I was also briefly an editor for a while.
Now my title is national security columnist.
In addition to that, I have also been an author and have written eight national security books.
Four of them were New York Times bestsellers.
Again, the most recent, Deceiving the Sky, really is an important primer on the threat posed by Communist China.
And it follows on a book I wrote 20 years ago called The China Threat, which was a play on what Beijing calls the China Threat Theory.
I've been focusing almost exclusively on the threat from China as well as other national security threats in my career and in my current duties as national security correspondent.
So the most recent book is Deceiving the Sky, Inside Communist China's Drive for Global Supremacy, The China Threat, also How China's Communist Party Made the World Sick, and also one that I remember well, Enemies, How America's Foes Steal Our Vital Secrets.
These are all books I highly recommend to you guys.
Let's start by setting the scene.
I want to talk about what's happened in the last 11 months under the new administration.
I want to have you explain to our millions of listeners and viewers across the country just how different Xi Jinping is and the significance of Taiwan.
And then we'll discuss other issues like what's happening on the Ukrainian border.
But Bill, let's start By winding the clock back a little bit, let's talk about what changed.
How significantly did U.S.
Sino policy change when Donald Trump became president?
So talk to us about 2017 and the next four years.
Yes, it was a political earthquake in Washington, D.C.
and in my decades Covering Washington, Donald Trump came in and shook things up in an extraordinary fashion.
And to me, the most significant shakeup was his addressing the problem of communist China.
He made it clear that he would do business with China, but only when it served American interests.
And this was an entirely new concept.
The central thesis of our China policy over the past since the 1980s has been, let's just trade with China.
Let's ignore their human rights abuses.
Let's ignore their proliferation of nuclear arms and other weaponry.
Let's ignore their support for rogue regimes in North Korea and Iran and other places.
And that this trade relationship was supposed to have a moderating influence On Communist China.
Well, it was a spectacular failure.
And Donald Trump was the first one to begin to recognize that and change course against much opposition from the established bureaucracy, from the diplomats, from the think tank community.
And he trudged ahead and pressed ahead and really set the tone Well, what we're seeing today, there is a broad recognition that China poses the most significant and existential threat to the rules-based international order that we have today.
That is freedom and democracy, liberty, individual liberty, individual rights and freedoms.
Those are seriously threatened by communist China today.
And it's it's it's threatened by its leader there, Xi Jinping, who is the supreme leader in journalistic terms.
He has to be described only as the president, according to the Associated Press rules.
But his title is supreme leader and Central Military Commission leader and general secretary of the Communist Party.
One other quick point.
The key, I think, to really confronting the China threat during the Trump administration was the first time, for the first time, there was a recognition in high-level policy circles that the Chinese Communist Party, this evil regime, is not the same as the Chinese people, who despise and hate the Chinese Communist Party and want to see it Who's responsible Bill?
Can we point a finger?
I think that was really the critical element and it needs to be kept in place.
Who's responsible, Bill?
Can we point a finger?
Can we lay blame on any individual or group that sold this garbage concept that the world's largest communist dictatorship, if we traded with it, it would become more liberal and more democratic?
A lot of people think it's Kissinger, it's Nixon.
Others say it was genius to peel China off the Soviet Union with the opening to Beijing.
Who sold this?
counterintuitive concept that making China economically powerful necessitates its democratization.
Yeah, I would trace the roots of the false China policy that we've had for so long to the Nixon gambit and Henry Kissinger back in the 70s.
It was a strategic gambit to play communist China off the Soviet Union, who posed the greatest strategic threat at that time.
And so there was this gambit.
Also, the Vietnam War played into an effect there.
And so they reached out to Beijing.
Beijing swallowed it, but was able to play the United States like a fiddle in terms of policy for what they wanted.
They were looking, they felt threatened by the Soviet Union.
There was a divide between Moscow and Beijing, and the Chinese were looking for a way to advance their version of communism.
And the U.S.
jumped aboard, and for a time, the Chinese allowed the United States to operate electronic eavesdropping posts inside Western China that would focus on Soviet missile bases.
Fast forward to 1991, the collapse of the Soviet Union, there was never a reevaluation of that policy.
And so it kind of went on autopilot.
And the successive elites and academics and the policy community latched on to it.
And they said, we've got to continue to support China and hope that this change, this support, this opening to the United States, Would have the moderating influence.
And again, it was a debacle.
We were now facing the most serious existential threat to our freedoms and liberty that we've ever faced in the history of this country since its founding.
In 1776.
And can you explain to us, because this is not the China of Mao or the Great Leap Forward.
This isn't a classic Stalinist regime.
This is very different.
By the time we came into the White House, China's economy was bigger than ours.
We changed that with the trade war.
But what kind of regime is this?
Because this isn't classic communist.
What is the best way to understand the type of system that exists today in China, Bill?
Yeah, I would say that it is a communist system.
And again, this has been one of the largest strategic deception operations that has been foisted on the United States over the decades.
This notion that China is no longer a communist state because they have adopted I remember being part of a debate in New York City on the threat from China many years ago.
One of the panelists was a businessman who said that he has been doing business in China for 20 years and he's never met a communist.
Well, my travels to China showed me just the difference.
In fact, I was traveling with secretaries of defense many times there, and one time with a vice president.
And during one of those visits, we went to the People's Liberation Army Museum.
And inside that museum are statues of Marx, Engels, Lenin, and even Stalin.
showing that the roots of this regime remain firmly in the Marxist-Leninist camp.
It's truly a—and if you look back, every leader since Mao has built their whole policies that China is locked in a death struggle with world capitalism led by the United States.
My question is only that, is it more imperial than it was?
Is the role of kleptocracy at the top and key families more important than it was?
but we'll get to that momentarily.
We'll be right back.
We'll be right back.
We'll be right back.

Dear friends, we are just 12 days away from Christmas.
I want to thank all of you who've done so much for the children across America, more than a million of them who have lost a mother or father to the prison system and who feel vulnerable and alone this Christmas.
Thank you for your donations to Chuck Colson's amazing Prison Fellowship Angel Tree program.
Just listen to Rochelle.
Rochelle, who explains to us why she's so grateful for everything Angel Tree And you do for their children in this amazing campaign.
I'm sure you're already seeing the importance of the people who give and how much we want to thank them.
If it wasn't for the people's generosity, and we're very aware of it, and we're very grateful, and we run largely on people's donations and on the Angel Tree Partnership, so we're very, very thankful.
Just $25 gets a Christmas gift from one of these imprisoned mothers or fathers to their son, to their daughter, with a message of love and the gospel.
Be that Christmas angel.
More than 70% of these girls and boys end up incarcerated themselves.
Let's break that cycle.
You could literally save a life with a $25 donation.
$125 would be five children.
Make a difference today.
It is one of the most blessed things you can do this Christmas.
If you've weathered COVID well, if you want to give thanks, remember what our Lord and Savior told us.
Come unto me, the little children.
Let's help as many as we can.
God bless all of you who have and all of you who will donate.
Please make your donations today as much as you can by calling 888-206-2794 or just go to my website sebgawker.com and click on the Angel Tree banner at the very top.

We're back with Bill Gertz.
We're talking about the threat China poses.
I learned this when I walked into the White House.
I was there to do counter-terrorism stuff, deal with the threat of ISIS in Iran.
As soon as I got my clearances, read the presidential daily brief, I realized the only truly existential strategic threat we face is communist China.
President Trump did a great deal to deal with that threat and to limit it.
However, that is not the case in the last 11 months.
We'll talk about What's happened in the last 11 months, but Bill, I asked you whether it's a communist state.
Of course, it's a communist state, but is it a special kind of communist state?
Talk to us about Xi Jinping, the current emperor, really, and how he has changed the system and really how he will be the head until he dies.
Yeah, as you mentioned, the communist system in China is basically very mafia-like.
It's run by crime families, communist party families and factions.
It's very strongly factional.
We have the China Party School faction, we have the Shanghai faction, we have the Prince Ling faction.
Are there any ideological differences or are these just power centers that want to be the most powerful?
No ideological differences.
They're obviously power for power's sake.
Yes.
Xi Jinping assumed power in 2012.
It comes from the princeling faction.
His father was a communist leader who was repressed during the Cultural Revolution.
And Xi Jinping never felt that that was wrong.
He's a firm believer in Marxism-Leninism with Chinese characteristics, and he has begun to re-ideologize the communist ideology in China.
He has something that he's adopted.
He calls it the China Dream, which I call the China Nightmare, and this is that China has been fighting its time and building its capabilities, as the previous leader, Deng Xiaoping, once said.
It's no longer biding its time.
It's now in an expansionist mode.
It does not distinguish between its commercial enterprises and its military strategic enterprises, which are combined together as part of things like the Belt and Road Initiative.
The digital Silk Road, and it's China's effort now to use its newfound wealth, which was gained mostly as a result of favorable relations with the United States, entry into the World Trade Organization.
The United States backed a communist regime that was on its last legs in the 70s and bailed it out on numerous occasions following the Tiananmen Massacre in 1989, where it was clearly There were widespread, even internal Communist Party opposition to the communist system.
So now we're seeing a, again, what they actually call a neo-Maoism in China led by Xi Jinping.
He's made himself a dictator for life.
He's eliminated the term limits and he's moving ahead with a massive military buildup that's going to be the coercive force For its political and economic expansionism.
And what is the end goal?
Let's bring this all back home so people understand that this is an issue on the other side of the globe.
This is relevant to All Americans Bill.
Tell us what the Chinese regime's objective is with relation to the United States.
It is global supremacy.
China sees itself again through its communism, through its tying that to Chinese history and Chinese nationalism.
They are seeking to replace the United States and its democratic ideals and values with communist values, Marxist-Leninist values.
So, if China takes over the world, say goodbye to freedom of expression, say goodbye to a free and open internet, and be prepared for the worst kind of repression.
I used to say that the regime in China was a nuclear-armed communist dictatorship.
Well, we can now add to that a genocidal nuclear-armed communist dictatorship.
That is, we're seeing genocide being carried out.
There's still no outcry.
They're still going ahead and allowing this regime to have an Olympic Games coming up.
Incredible.
How much of a tripwire is Taiwan, Bill?
Are you expecting something imminent?
We had Biden make empty threats to China.
They didn't stop their air incursions.
So what are you expecting in the near future?
Very tense right now.
Last week, I wrote a story for the Washington Times on this, which talked about two senior officials, one from the Pentagon, one from the State Department, talking about China being the pacing threat and the attack on Taiwan being the most significant threat within that threat.
We've had commanders of the Indo-Pacific Command, both the outgoing one and the incoming one say it isn't a question of if, it's only a matter of when the Chinese are going to move against Taiwan.
Now, they don't want to do it militarily, obviously, for the costs that it will incur.
And again, the U.S. is trying to help Taiwan increase those costs so that they can deter them.
But China is using gray warfare, covert warfare, information warfare, intelligence warfare, unrestricted warfare, as the two colonels from 1999 wrote.
We're seeing that play out in spades across the 110-mile Taiwan Strait.
Guys, you can do something.
It may be small, but it sends a message.

You mentioned, Bill, the word genocide.
You mentioned the absurdity.
As the child of those who escaped a communist regime, my father escaping a communist political prison, the idea that not only we're doing trade with communist China, the fact that we celebrate amateur sportsmen and women with them in China just blows my mind.
Will you talk to us about the reality It's unbelievably a crime against humanity.
use the word genocide, why the word labor camp is absolutely relevant, just how Stalinistic or Maoist is China in 2021?
It's unbelievably a crime against humanity.
And it was in January of this year that the State Department under Mike Pompeo issued this declaration of genocide.
It's a legal terminology.
It's not something that is done lightly.
And it's the result of mass repression against Uyghur Muslims in Western China.
They call their place occupied East Turkistan.
The Chinese call it Xinjiang, which is in Western China.
And the numbers, official numbers, are between 1 and 2 million people have been placed in concentration camps in order to obliterate their culture, their being, and these people who are regarded as enemies of the state.
I spoke with a Uyghur dissident recently, said that the That the numbers are more like 7 to 8 million rather than 1 to 2 million.
So we're seeing that.
The same type of thing is happening, but in a different way in Tibet, where Tibetan Buddhists loyal to the Dalai Lama are seeking independence from China, which invaded that country and took it over in 1959.
And now we're seeing the world wake up to this.
The idea that the Biden administration would do a diplomatic boycott of the Olympics is a weak step.
We should not allow our athletes to go there because of this regime.
We should not allow television stations to broadcast those games.
It's similar to Nazi Germany conducting the 1938 Olympics in Germany, again, which He promoted and catapulted Adolf Hitler to status.
He used them as a propaganda tool.
The Chinese are doing the same kind of thing.
But it's not just ethnic or religious minorities, Bill.
Anybody can fall afoul of the regime and the social credit system means that anybody can become a target overnight, correct?
Yes, China is using technology that it has imported and stolen from the West to create a mass surveillance system, including what they call a social credit system.
The social credit system is a political tool of repression that's modeled after the US credit system.
So when you go to buy a car or buy a house you go through a credit check and in that credit check you can find out everything you know whether the person is qualified financially.
In China we now have a political Social credit system, which is used to identify so-called regime, anti-regime elements, dissidents, others, religious believers.
Anyone considered a threat to the Communist Party is repressed through this mass surveillance system.
You can't buy a train ticket.
You can't buy an airline ticket.
Your children can't go to school.
You can't send them to college.
And this is what is in store for the world unless China is stopped, unless it's pressured back, unless the Communist Party is removed.
You know, even under the Trump administration, the State Department bureaucrats fought against many of that president's hardline policies.
And argued instead of getting rid of the Communist Party, going back to the buy our time, build our capabilities, economic policies under Deng Xiaoping.
They haven't recognized that it's not just this system, that it's really the communist system itself that needs to be replaced with a much more friendly system.

The End
So let's look forward.
You've given us the threat assessment bill.
Let's analyze what needs to be done.
First things first, when you look at the pronouncements of the most senior U.S.
military official, Mark Milley, when he says on record in front of a camera, China is not our enemy.
What is your response?
It's astounding.
I've never seen anything like it in my 35 years in Washington.
The fact that the highest military advisor to the president made some incredible statements in public, including revealing that in his private conversations with his Chinese military counterpart, General Li, That he told that general that the United States had no intention of attacking China, and that if it did, we would let them know in advance.
This is absolutely unprecedented for a senior military officer to be so naive, to be so stupid as to inform his Chinese counterpart of such an event.
And this was all done based on some bogus Pentagon intelligence claiming that the Chinese had misperceived that the United States was going to attack him.
It was just outrageous.
Truly outrageous, the man who should be in the brig today.
That's Mark Milley, a disgrace, an individual who undermined the U.S.
national security and went outside the chain of command as chairman of the Joint Chiefs.
Bill, talk to us about inside China, because this has to be Part of any response we have.
Is there a nascent resistance?
Is there a dissident population?
Is there anybody who, if there were such an opportunity, could challenge the regime?
It's very difficult to say.
There has been mass repression and again a massive crackdown.
I can remember back in 2012, That you could find various voices on the Chinese social media, and I monitored that as best I could through translated systems.
There was a vibrant exchange and free speech and criticism, even of the Communist Party.
That has all been eliminated.
Anyone on social media that is even perceived as being anti-Communist Party of China is immediately eliminated.
And so it's very difficult to tell.
That said, there are efforts going on right now to develop information warfare tools.
And I can tell you that the US government is behind this, to be able to identify and develop, again, a dissident movement that could eventually take over and create a free China.
How culpable, when you look at the clampdown inside China, The fact that Tiananmen Square as an event has been erased from the internal internet inside China.
If you try looking for it, you will probably get arrested.
How culpable are American companies in creating that dystopian Orwellian reality?
Companies like Google.
How much are Americans helping this regime, Bill?
Yeah, I'd say it's still a problem.
During the Trump administration, there was a great deal of reevaluation among the business community.
A large segment of the business community did say, this is not working out.
We're not going to be making millions and billions of dollars here.
So a lot, for example, many of the banks, American banks, are no longer seeking to try and do business in China.
But other American financial institutions which have been really pushing for policy changes are still trying to basically prop up this regime through development of business ties inside of China.
I think the big problem is, even in the Trump administration, there was a recognition for the first time that China is a so-called strategic competitor.
And that was a compromise because the business community and the rest of... We had so much invested.
We had sent so many of our businesses to China that they didn't want to cut it off immediately.
We need to identify China as an existential threat and enemy and from that point begin to decouple.
Some of that is happening.
Some of that decoupling is taking place.
But on the other hand there are still a large financial American financial companies and others that are seeking to do business and do business according to communist Chinese terms.
As the person who tracks these things so closely who's literally written the book deceiving the sky on these issues amongst the many others can you give us your Great.
Can you tell us about the last 11 months from the disastrous Anchorage summit to today?
How does China, let's do the red teaming, how does Beijing look at the Biden administration, Bill?
Well, they have correctly assessed that there are deep divisions within the Biden administration on China policy.
On the one hand, you have what I call the Kurt Campbell faction.
Kurt Campbell is the White House national security person who's in charge of, is considered the China policy czar.
On the other hand, you have John Kerry and the radical left environmentalists who want to put aside all differences with China and focus on the alleged problem of climate change, which they consider an existential crisis, not the Chinese Communist Party.
And so these two policies are clashing within that administration.
We've seen some good steps, and I would point to Taiwan, where the administration has not backed down on the issue of Taiwan in helping Taiwan build up its defenses to find asymmetric weapons.
But on many other fronts, the radical left within the Biden administration is going to try to make a common cause with the communist regime and put all other differences aside.
The policy right now of the Biden administration has been announced as, well, we're going to cooperate where we can and we're going to compete where we can't agree.
The Chinese will not operate that way.
And they've stated clearly there's not going to be a partial cooperation.
They view the United States as their main enemy.
They're working to destroy the United States.
And this reality is lost on France.
Former Secretary of State John Kerry, who is the climate czar.
He's completely clueless about the dangers that we're facing right now.
Yeah, and the idea that you have, you know, polite summits sitting at tables with nice clean starched tablecloths with a country that wishes to see you subjugated makes no sense at all.
The book is Deceiving the Sky Inside Communist China's Drive for Global Supremacy.
The End
It's going to be only America first.
America first. America first.
America first.
America first.
America first. America first. America first. America first. America first. America first. America first.
Thank you.
Okay, last two big questions for you.
They're the real so what questions.
Bill, let's start with what is China's greatest vulnerability or what are they most afraid of?
I think they're most afraid of their illegitimacy as rulers.
And to me, the way to ultimately deter and defeat the Communist Party of China is to focus on the Communist Party.
During the Trump administration, I urged the State Department to produce an official State Department white paper on the Chinese Communist Party, its crimes, It's history, it's goals and objectives.
And it was completely crushed by the bureaucrats in the State Department.
I think that this is the first step that needs to be done.
You have to identify the problem.
And once that is done, concretely, once we end the self-deception about China, we can't say that it's not a threat anymore, which we used to hear and I can remember former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, when she was Secretary of State, announcing that we want a strong China.
Well, we don't want a strong China anymore.
We need to work against this regime.
We need to highlight its vulnerabilities, and its key vulnerability is its illegitimacy.
The Chinese people, they do not want to be ruled by this regime.
They have seen the free and open societies of the West, and they want to live like that.
And last question to you, Bill.
It's always the most important, so what, when it comes to national security.
Let's say there's a new president, or rather, an old president who comes back into the White House.
My former boss, President Trump, who initiated the trade war with China.
What is the first thing you'd like him to do come 2024 and his inauguration in 2025?
Well, I think that the very first thing that needs to be done under a new administration is to hold communist China accountable for creating the COVID pandemic, the Wu flu pandemic that has killed millions of people and caused billions, if not trillions in damage.
The Biden administration has totally ignored China's role in this pandemic and its cause.
It doesn't even matter whether it came from the Wuhan Institute of Virology or from a wet market.
China is responsible and they need to be held accountable.
I think that's got to be the number one priority for the next administration.
Millions killed across the globe, 800,000 here in America alone.
And the fact that there is no official investigation in Congress or anywhere else is truly stunning.
Superb analysis.
