Sebastian Gorka FULL SHOW: Biden capitulates to Taliban
| Copy link to current segment

Time Text
The
consequences of a rapid exit are both predictable and unacceptable.
9-11, the worst terrorist attack in our history, was planned and directed from Afghanistan because that country was ruled by a government that gave comfort and shelter to terrorists.
A hasty withdrawal would create a vacuum that terrorists, including ISIS and al-Qaeda, would instantly fill, just as happened before September 11th.
Remarkably, truly remarkably, that was four years ago.
That was my former boss, then Commander-in-Chief President Trump, warning the world in 2017 what would happen if there were a hasty withdrawal from Afghanistan.
I'm Sebastian Gorka, former strategist to President Trump.
This is America First.
We have lost 13 warfighters.
We have lost a dozen marines and a corpsman.
We are here to give you an update on the situation with the best guests and straight away with somebody who's actually in theater right now as we speak.
Eight tours Force recon with the Marines.
You know me, I love the Marines.
Spent two and a half years on faculty at Quantico.
This man has worked for JSOC, Special Operations Command, Joint Special Operations Command, and he is back in theater to save those who worked with us and also stranded Americans.
Chad Robichaud, welcome to America First.
Thanks so much for having me on, Sebastian.
Chad, give us a SITREP, an unclassified low-side SITREP on what is the situation like in Kabul, how chaotic, how much of an intelligence vacuum are we working in as Americans?
Well, you know, even if you are able to see it, it's not Something you could comprehend, you know, unless you could actually be there.
And you've seen those environments before.
I mean, you've seen, everybody's seen the video of the woman handing her baby up to the Marines to carry it over.
But what we hadn't seen is the multiple bodies of babies that were trying to, that parents tried to throw over the Constantino wire to get in, and they got tangled in the Constantino wire and bled out, and their bodies are up there, just strung up still.
You know, it's just so horrific.
So many people so desperate to get in and end the defense.
And the problem we have, there's so many problems we could spend hours in here talking, but the problem we have is the White House took the NEO operation, the noncombatant evacuation operation, away from the Department of Defense, where it belongs, and gave it to the State Department.
And the State Department has used our military Sad.
like embassy guards.
They've treated it like an embassy and not allowed the United States military in a conventional role to rescue Americans, to rescue our allies, 10,000, maybe 30,000 for different estimations.
How many Americans are there still right now?
And they've gave this to the State Department.
They have no idea or understanding how to execute this type of operation.
Chad, I heard today, tell me if this, after what you just said, of the evacuation mission being taken from the military and given to the State Department, that has no idea what it's doing, I was informed today that the decision to sacrifice Bagram, 32 I was informed today that the decision to sacrifice Bagram, 32 acres, two runways, able to have 21 C-17s waiting for airlift, that decision was made by the State
Is that, does that sound feasible to you?
Yes, I'm pretty well informed of that as well.
I mean, first of all, I don't believe that we ever should have left Bagram Air Force Base.
It was this most strategic global point in the planet, today's world, between Iraq, Iran, China, Russia.
We gave it up saying that we were a long-term war when we're not in a long-term war.
We still have 80,000 troops in Japan, 40,000 in Germany, 30,000 in South Korea.
Why did we need to give this up when it was working?
But we gave it up and we moved our military out before we moved our civilians out without even warning them.
And we forfeited Bagram Air Force Base.
Central Command saw the Taliban coming.
They said, let's drop.
They were going to jump the 82nd Airborne in to hold Bagram Air Force Base so it could be a place to remove our equipment, to withhold, to keep an airstrip open so we can move civilians out.
And the White House advised the State Department to shut that operation down.
Central Kremlin was shut down and the 82nd Airborne was not able to hold that base.
And that was confirmed by President Biden.
He did confirm that himself.
The most egregious strategic mistake possibly in the modern history of American warfare, at least for generations.
Let's talk about your mission.
I'm very grateful to my colleagues Phil and Zina for connecting us.
What is SaveOurAllies.org, and what are you doing right now in theater, Chad?
During my eight deployments to Afghanistan, I didn't operate conventionally.
I worked with the Afghan people.
I lived out in the community, and I had one team member on all eight of my deployments.
I can probably say his name now.
In my books, I wrote his name to me differently, but now I can openly say his name.
Aziz is his name, and Aziz and his wife and six kids.
I was determined as this crumbled that I had to go and save him.
And so I began an effort to go and get my interpreter, Aziz, my friend, who I love dearly, and I was going to go get him.
I started assembling some of my old Special Operations buddies, we raised the money, and we were going to get him.
But then we realized that he didn't only need to help so many others, and we heard of these 3,000 orphans.
And so we quickly made a relationship with a foreign government, a foreign military here in the Middle East.
They agreed to work with us and let us utilize their military resources.
We set up a joint operations command center here in the Middle East, as well as in Washington, D.C.
And we've been out when we put guys on the ground in Kabul.
And we've been in for the last seven days.
We've been rapidly deployed and been executing rescue missions, getting people under the base.
to the airstrip and getting him out to this foreign country.
We've got 5,289.
How many have you saved already?
5,289.
With how many people?
How big is your team, Chad?
There's eight of us.
Unbelievable.
God bless you.
You're doing God's work.
Who are these orphans?
Why are they orphaned?
Many of the orphans that we were able to save were widows and children of former Afghan National Army commandos or interpreters that served with us.
That's how we had to contact, knowing who they were.
And so many of the people we got were orphans, widows, American citizens, and a lot of the SIB applicants who are interpreters.
That's primarily who we're going after.
Okay, so I know what you're doing.
You have the intel.
You're an operator.
You know who you're saving.
But I have to tell you this and I want your reaction.
100,000 Afghans have flooded into America on those C-17s.
It is my information that the vast majority, over 90% of them, have nothing to do with working with America, are not SIVs, they're just people who managed to get over the wire and were shipped to America with zero vetting.
Is that what you are seeing?
I'm not talking about the people you're saving, I'm talking about the 100,000 who were shipped to us in the last 10 days.
Yeah, a lot of our guys have witnessed that.
We were very strategic.
We got thousands of emails that came in as soon as I started talking about this in the news, and we quickly realized we needed to set up a Joint Operations Command Center in Washington, D.C.
to receive those emails, to process those emails, to build rescue target sheets.
So we kind of triaged and categorized, and so they would pump that information to us here in the Middle East.
We'd build rescue lists and coordinate those linkups and put the right people on the plane.
What we've seen from other efforts was them landing a plane, opening the door, and just mass loading people under the plane.
And so I would say from our observation is they were not as strategic as we were at putting vetted people under those planes.
Chad, thank you for your eight tours.
Thank you for the God's work you are doing with your eight-man team right now.
5,000 people saved who deserve to be saved, not the disaster of what the State Department is doing.
Support this man at saveourallies.org.
That's saveourallies.org.
He's doing it with eight, eight people.
This is a disaster, but with more Chads, America will be safe and we will keep our promises.
Follow him at Chad Robo.
That's Chad Robichard at Chad Robo.
I'm Sebastian Gorka.
This is America First.
America First.
Mics are now on.
All right.
Well, I'll go ahead and call up the senator.
Yes, please.
And we're going to do...
You want the mics on or off with the senator?
Off.
Off.
We're gonna do food here?
Uh, yes.
Is that audio?
Uh, I didn't see any audio.
Don't worry about it.
Do you have access?
Can you play me cut two?
Cut two.
Yes.
One moment right here.
Just a few weeks ago, the U.S. was bombing the Taliban.
But when U.S. troops pulled out, triggering the collapse of the Afghan army, now there's no one left but the Taliban to protect American forces as they leave.
Okay, good.
Excellent.
Put the senator on.
Mike.
Thank you.

Let's go back to the topic of what's happening in Central Asia.
This is Richard Engel on MSNBC.
Cut to.
Just a few weeks ago, the US was bombing the Taliban.
But when US troops pulled out, triggering the collapse of the Afghan army, now there's no one left but the Taliban to protect American forces as they leave.
No one but the Taliban to protect Americans?
The sheer insanity of it all!
These are the people who gave SACA and AIDAM protection to Bin Laden as he was planning September the 11th.
Let's get a reaction from a man who served in Afghanistan three decades in the U.S.
Army as a military intelligence professional A veteran of Desert Storm as well, and now serving the great state of Pennsylvania, Senator Doug Mastriano.
Welcome back to America First.
Thank you, Sebastian.
And I swear madness has set in in this administration, thinking it's a good idea to give a list of Americans in Afghanistan that's just asking for disaster.
This whole thing here has been a catastrophe.
Yeah, this is the list that Biden admitted yesterday we gave to the Taliban of people who still have to be rescued, a list.
That I can assure you will be used as intelligence by our enemies and may even be used as the basis for ransom deals in the foreseeable hours.
It is less than a hundred hours until the deadline that we had enforced upon us by the Taliban and that Biden surrendered to.
Before we get to what you're doing in Pennsylvania, Senator Mastriano, tell us in your opinion, with 30 years in uniform, Have you seen anything in your military career of that time span as egregious a strategic failure as the last two weeks in this administration?
I absolutely have not seen that in 30 days on active duty.
A junior lieutenant could have predicted this kind of outcome.
And to think that we can trust the Taliban or work with them, the very people that gave Sukkur, as you rightly said, to al-Qaeda and Osama bin Laden that wreaked such havoc on our nation on 9-11 20 years ago, it just shows you that really there's no leadership in Washington, D.C.
This clown show of removing our troops in July overnight from Bagram Airfield, an important hub for intel, for special ops, for airstrikes, everything that is needed to back up the Afghan National Security Forces overnight, and thinking that the Afghans could stand on their own without American logistics, without the contractors, without intel support, is the same outcome that happened in 1975.
And I got to see this twice in my lifetime here.
It's just heart-rending.
Have we not learned anything?
Do you believe the man who bears the title of president when he says that his generals told him it was okay to close the only strategic airbase in the whole region and that we didn't need background?
Do you believe Biden, Senator?
Yeah, I absolutely don't buy that at all because that's just setting up for a disaster.
If you want to turn your back on the country and watch it collapse as it unfolded, as it was predicted by intel analysts, then shut down the airfield.
But I don't buy it for one instance.
And that you would do it Before you take out your people, before you send out word to anyone that needs to come to the United States, and that he has the gall to get on TV yesterday and say he takes the blame but it's President Trump's fault.
President Trump didn't pull the troops out and then send them back in again.
No, absolutely not.
We had a conditions-based withdrawal plan and we also saw the Taliban break the precursor requirements and the President responded by bombing them to send them a message.
Let's focus to the Keystone State, State Senator Doug Mastriano.
Follow him at SenMastriano on Twitter.
You have been dedicated, a vocal, vocal proponent of transparency and rectitude in our elections.
What is the latest from Pennsylvania on getting to the bottom of what happened last November?
Yeah, this has been very aggravating and frustrating for people like myself and and is that people on the audience here.
So ever since the hearing that I led on 25 November in Gettysburg to this very day here, I've been the leading voice and champion in Pennsylvania for getting an audit done.
And I've been working in good faith with the Senate leadership, Jake Corman and others, and I was hitting a stone wall, and it was clear to me last Friday they had no intentions of doing anything but drag us out here, so that's why last week I went public.
So when people are asking where the subpoenas are, I told them the whole story, and it's time for you to ask our President Pro Tem of the Senate, Jake Corman.
You know, these gains, clearly I've only been out of the Army a couple years, and so the idea of honor and integrity here is still foremost in my mind, and I get it.
This is politics now.
But when the very Republic is at stake and you have Republican leaders playing games and not just taking a stand either way and just kind of dragging this whole process out here, I needed the people to see.
This might be a Mr. Smith goes to Washington moment without the naivety that was with that movie.
But the people, I pulled back the curtain and we need to get this sorted out here.
We don't want any games.
Just do an audit.
Get it done.
So what have you already seen?
What can you report to us?
We have been told by the mainstream legacy media nothing happened, most secure election in American history, any claim to the obverse is a lie, the courts dismissed it all.
What is the truth?
Why are you doing what you're doing, Senator?
Yeah, oh, the irony.
They'd be told that you're advancing the big lie, you know, baseless claims.
Baseless claims they never investigated.
And it's funny from the very people that for four years talked about Russia, Russia, Russia collusion.
It was a big joke.
And what I've heard here is I've heard from literally about a quarter million people from across Pennsylvania, many with personal experiences, some with experiences of family members and friends, of being disenfranchised, being blocked from being a poll watcher, We have still 120,000 excess voters in Pennsylvania, meaning there's 120,000 more votes that were counted than actual voters who voted.
So there's a lot of issues here, and we need to get to the bottom of it.
How can people support your efforts in Pennsylvania and elsewhere?
Let Senator Jake Corman know to get the job done and stop talking about it.
Just do it.
Time to get the answers.
One man is fighting.

We need more like him.
Thank you for your service twice to this nation.

It's It's ludicrous and I think it's empty words.
Unless they can conduct that strike in the next 48 hours, And if that's the case, then I would wonder why we didn't do it preemptively if we have that type of intelligence.
But beyond there, after August 31st, everything's gone.
It's just empty words.
Former Green Beret Mike Waltz congressman talking about Biden's promise.
Biden told us he's going to come down, he's going to kill all of those who executed the suicide mission yesterday.
How are you going to do that with no assets?
In less than 100 hours there will be no Americans left, not even an embassy, nothing, not even a Marine Guard contingent.
And you've given up our runway, our most strategic airbase in the world.
So how are you going to kill them?
How are you going to find them to kill them?
Biden?
Absolute disgrace.
A disgrace to everything that we hold sacred in this nation.
Let's go to your calls.
It's Ask Dr. G Anything Friday, Second Amendment Friday.
We will be joined by Lee Smith, Tim Harmson, Jim Carrafano.

Send a message to the left.
Let's go to Maria in North Carolina.
Happy Friday, Maria.
Happy Friday to you, Dr. Gorka.
Thank you for taking my call.
I have a question for you.
I have two.
First, in regards to Afghanistan.
I've just been absolutely sick in the gut watching this thing unfold, and I was so Amazed but grateful to learn that this was turned over as a State Department operation because now it explains a lot.
It does, doesn't it?
That Anthony Blinken, he's running things in Afghanistan, that explains it, doesn't it?
It does, but I have a question as regards the concept of treason.
Yes.
Leaving all of that equipment behind, leaving behind all of that sensitive information, to me, gives aid and comfort to the enemy.
Am I going too far with that?
Well, let's look at the definition.
Let's look at the definition.
Treason against the United States shall consist, I'm reading the code here, shall consist only in levying war against them or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort.
Now the question is, can you prove, can you prove, Maria, that this was done consciously to give them aid and comfort?
Yeah.
Sebastian?
Is this a bad strategy?
Was this Blinken being a cretin?
Was this Biden being a coward?
Or did they actually want to help our enemies?
I dread to think if it were the latter.
I hope it wasn't the latter.
Let's stay tuned and see what we can find out.
We are committed to getting to the bottom and to finding the truth of this all.
Thank you for your call, Al in California.
Welcome to America First. - Sebastian. - Yes.
Two questions.
One is, I was going to ask you this before, but does being averse to casualties, which I think we should be, hamper us in conventional military warfare?
For example, the Russians are profligate.
They don't mind losing regiment after regiment.
The Afghans, we were saying the other day, we don't mind getting our friends killed.
Doesn't that hamper us in conventional warfare against these SOBs?
Well, look, I mean, all warfare is dangerous.
It involves risks, and our operators know that when they deploy, they could be killed.
But we have a serious problem here of the politicians who want zero risk, zero casualty missions.
There's no such thing, Al, as zero risk missions.
That's why we're seeing the insanity we're seeing.
Oh, of course.
And the second question is, there have been some more stabbings in the UK, and naturally, the members of Parliament, and this mirrors the gun issue.
They want more knife control now.
So anytime somebody abuses 1% of the 1% of the population abuses something, the politicians then want to ban it.
Do you have any comments on that?
Nothing beyond everything every sane person has ever said in the history of all this insanity.
What legislation, Al, makes a difference to a criminal?
If in If legislation mattered, there would be no murders.
Absolutely.
If legislation mattered, there would be no prostitution and there would be no theft.
There would be no muggings.
There would be no burglary.
All that legislation does when it's concentrated on weapons, on inanimate objects, is it punishes the innocent.
It punishes the law-abiding citizen.
What are you going to do?
Ban knives next?
Then they'll be using bricks.
Are you going to ban bricks?
And then Brits will be building in adobe huts and living in shanty towns.
You know the truth, Al.
It's sheer insanity.
Great questions.
This is America First.

I'm sorry, mics are on.
For that, is that Fox?
I'm sorry, mics are on.
What was that?
Come in with cut eight.
And what is...
Well, I...
I had it set up so perfectly.
It was done so well.
We were all ready.
Everything was good.
We had the Taliban totally frozen in place.
They weren't going to move.
And that's when I made my move.
But, you know, we rely on stupid people like H.R.
McMaster, John Bolton.
Some of these people were really stupid people.
I mean, Bolton was involved in getting us in with Bush into the Middle East.
But you rely on people.
Fortunately, whether it's Fauci or them, I don't listen to a lot of people if I think they're bad ideas.
Too many swamp creatures surrounding the president even then.
That's going to be the challenge next time around.
He is going to run.
He's going to win if it's up to us.
But he's got to have people around him he can trust.
I'm Sebastian Gorka.
I was his strategist.
How did I get into the White House?
Well, it's because of a book I wrote called Defeating Jihad.
Sadly, more relevant than ever.

Happy Friday.
I know it's a solemn week, but I do have a question.
Yes.
I have a question for you, and I have all three of your books.
Thank you.
And if I miss this chapter in defeating jihad, I apologize, but I do have a question.
Yeah.
So with the Afghan refugees and with what's going on over there, and other conflicts too, how come they are sent to the Western world?
Like Texas, or Germany, or they've flown into, you know, everywhere in America and parts of Europe.
Why are we sent to Pakistan, neighboring countries?
Fabulous, fabulous, genius question.
I didn't have any chapter on refugee relocation, defeating jihad.
We might have to do that in the update.
I'll tell you why.
You want to know why, buddy?
Because none of those countries want them, and none of those countries are in theatre to help them.
You don't have, you know, the Qataris, you don't have the Saudis, you don't have any of those nations on the ground saying, You're a fellow Muslim or you're a fellow Arab or whatever.
Come and live in our countries.
It's us.
It's us naive Westerners that are not only there, my friend, but have the capability to get those people 8,000 miles away to our own homes.
I think it's because we're gullible, really.
That's a shame.
That's a shame because they don't, you know, their culture is not complying to the Western world as you know a lot of them.
But guys, forget the culture.
Forget the culture.
You heard Chad Robichaud.
He's in Afghanistan now rescuing 5,000 people who want to live here.
But what's happened in the last 10 days?
We've had 100,000 come, unvetted, just literally pile over the fence into our aircraft and land in Virginia at Dulles Airport.
It's sheer insanity.
And we don't even have the capacity to verify who they are.
That is a ticking time bomb.
Thanks for your superb question and your kind words on my book.
Let's go to another good friend of the show, Judy in Brooklyn.
Welcome back and happy Friday.
Hi.
Hi, Dr. Gorka.
Thanks for taking my call.
As ridiculous as it sounds, Dr. Gorka, with these medieval, super-religious, radical Islamists, why can't we tell the Taliban and the ISIS and al-Qaeda that we will bury you in pig's fat?
You said that last time, Judy.
You said that last time.
Yeah, but you said it's a classic.
What does that mean?
Because it was used again.
It was used 100 years ago with certain Muslims.
So why can't we use it now?
I don't think that's going to solve the problem.
I don't think that's going to solve the problem.
It could be part of the messaging, but I don't think that's going to solve the problem.
The problem is we don't have a capacity to protect our soldiers, our marines, our corpsmen.
We don't have a capacity to extricate, exfiltrate our American citizens.
So saying we're going to wrap you in pig fat could be a nice message to the Taliban, but we need to go in there and we have to kill Kill, kill anyone responsible for the murders of our Marines in that corpsman.
Thank you, Judy.
Let's go to Brent.
Brent, happy Friday.
Welcome back.
Courage and strength, my dear friend.
Thank you, thank you.
We all need some courage and strength right now.
And may I say, may God soon enlighten and redeem our blessed America.
With the demonic betrayal of America's courageous sons and soldiers, and with the recent passing of the great Charlie Watts, drummer of the Rolling Stones, I want to honor and pay tribute to them all by recalling the Stones' sublime song, Sympathy for the Devil, which lyrically exposes historically evil leaders like Biden, who satanically betray not only their own, but all mankind.
And Mick Jagger sings of how the devil utilizes wicked leaders to serve his ends, saying, I've been around for many a long, long year.
Stole a million men's souls and faith.
Pleased to meet you.
Hope you guessed my name.
But what's puzzling you is the nature of my game.
Yeah, I didn't expect to have exegesis of Rolling Stones lyrics on the show today.
I must admit that.
I've never been a big fan of the Rolling Stones, but you're right, Brent.
When you look at that, That peculiar, that disturbing press conference yesterday, where the president, the man who calls himself president, said, oh, who have I been instructed to ask questions of or take questions from?
Then he starts, he starts his comments.
Did you catch this, Brent?
He said, Tough day.
Tough day.
Yeah.
Tough day.
What kind of a day is it?
Was it?
And will it be for weeks, months and years to come for the family of those 12 Marines and that one corpsman?
A tough day and then you get into an argument with the only real reporter in the room and you bow your head, show us your bald spot in some kind of message of utter defeat and resignation.
The terrorists read your body language.
They listen to your words and they see that not only are you a soulless man, not only are you utterly corrupt, but you can be defeated.
That you have no spine.
That you are the weakest.
I think this is it.
It just came to me.
Thanks to Brent.
This is the weakest president we've ever had.
He's worse than Carter.
This man is worse than Wilson.
He is the weakest commander-in-chief we have ever had.
Thank you for bringing that out.

Let's go to Patty Jacksonville.
Welcome to America First.
Hi, Dr. Gorka.
How you doing?
Good.
I've been following this for so long with Mr. Biden, and I think we're underestimating this man.
I think the Female Old Grandfather Act, while he may have some of that going on, I think it's an act.
Why?
What evidence do you have of that, Patty?
Well, you can see a sinister nature in this man.
And I believe that there is him and whoever's in the second Obama coming, are trying to get us out of Afghanistan in order to move China in to get the mineral right to Afghanistan.
They've already had talks with the Taliban.
We've had the CIA over there secretly.
I just think that if the man plays crazy enough or demented enough, he's nothing has to be a child.
It's not an act.
I don't buy it, Patty.
I don't buy it.
You can't act.
You cannot pretend.
He is senile.
He doesn't know whether his wife is his sister.
He doesn't know that Super Tuesday is on Tuesday.
The guy is demented.
And by the way, Patty, you can be sinister and senile at the same time, right?
I believe that, too.
But he's just corrupt.
Let's go to our good buddy, Leo Leonardo in New Jersey.
It's been a while.
Welcome back, buddy.
you.
Greetings and salutations.
Happy Warrior King Gorka.
Thank you.
I love that.
Greetings and salutations.
What's your reaction to everything we've witnessed, Leo?
Well, first things first, Dr. Gorka.
Prayers and blessings for our hero devil dogs and their families.
Everybody, I'm sure, is just overcome with grief.
They're the best that we got, the best, the brightest, and it's so ridiculous that they have the first couple of checkpoints manned by Taliban and that they're going to pass people through that are wearing explosive vests.
And hand them off to the next couple of checkpoints where the Marines are at, right?
So, there we go, trust in terror.
We're not even, I don't know what happened to the phrase, not negotiating with terrorists.
There's Beta Blinken and the Biden people, they're just surrendering to the terrorists.
No, we're out of time, Leonardo.
They are surrendering to those who want to kill us all, that's all you have to know.
It's Friday.
I'm Sebastian Gorka.
This is America First, Second Amendment next, plus Jim Carofano.

It's Ask Dr. G Anything.
It's Second Amendment Friday.
We'll be talking national security with our regular guest, Jim Carrafano, Vice President of the Heritage Foundation, former West Pointer, former nuclear artillery man in the U.S.
Army, then former Marine Tim Harmson, who I'm sure We'll share his thoughts on the tragedy of the last 24 hours.
But I want to take your calls as well.
I want to hear your voices.
Don't go anywhere.
Mike and Barry will get to you momentarily.
But first things first, I want to thank you.
All of you who've donated so much already to the people, especially the children who are suffering on the brink of starvation in Haiti.
We can't be in America helping those in Afghanistan, but we can make a difference in our hemisphere, especially with the Christian Aid organization, Food for the Poor, that's been helping the destitute for 39 years.
Now in Haiti that has been hit by a hurricane, by an earthquake, and a presidential assassination.
Make a difference today.
These children do not deserve the suffering they are undergoing.
They don't deserve to go to bed with an empty belly.
You can literally save lives from the comfort of your home.
One donation, one time for $37 will feed one of these children for six months.
$111 will feed Three children for half a year.
If you donate $1,000 today, if you can do that, you are saving dozens and dozens of children.
Make a difference.
Donate whatever you can.

Before we get to your calls, I have to say one thing on this issue of the Taliban versus ISIS versus ISIS-Khorasan versus Al-Qaeda.
Much is being made.
You hear this, oh, ISIS hates the Taliban and the Taliban has, even Biden said, has interests in us getting out safely.
Lies, lies, damnable lies.
The reason I ended up in the White House is very clear.
I was not plugged into the GOP.
I'd met President Trump once in Trump Tower.
And he needed advice.
And the reason I'd write on his radar screen was because of a book I'd written called Defeating Jihad.
And I wrote Defeating Jihad because I'd spent the years here in America as a DoD civilian and then the head of my own company, traveling the country, lecturing, educating thousands upon thousands, and I mean it, thousands upon thousands
of our operators, especially at Fort Bragg, but you name it, SEALs, JSOC, I even lectured Joint Special Operations Command, I was a fellow at Joint Special Operations University, and then thousands of FBI analysts, special agents, and SOS support staff.
My job was very clear.
I saw it as my mission to explain the ideology of our enemies.
You can't defeat an enemy unless you understand what they believe and what they're trying to achieve.
So I spent years and years and years studying the ideology of Jihad, reading the primary texts of Sayyid Qutb ibn al-Zawahiri, the Muslim Brotherhood, Al-Qaeda, their magazines, their publications like Inspire, like Dabiq, And it's very clear that we had a massive paucity of understanding.
I remember so clearly one frightening day in DC, where at a certain location I was asked to explain the ideology of Jihad to an assembled group of dozens and dozens of intelligence analysts and then on an outfield, on an outstation, on a VTC, on a video teleconference, hundreds more.
And I gave my standard lecture.
About 12 minutes in, 15 minutes in, one of the American intelligence analysts in the room put up her hand and stopped me.
And this must have been, oh, I don't know, six, seven years, no longer than that, maybe 10 years after September the 11th.
And she asked me, Professor, what is this Sunni Shia thing?
And I thought it was a joke.
What is this Sunni-Shia thing?
One of the most crucial aspects of the Middle East in understanding the Iran-Iraq war, the difference between Al-Qaeda and Hezbollah.
That's how bad things were.
But it hasn't improved.
I've tried my bit and I tell you, I shared with you this unbelievable story of a month ago I was at an event in Florida And a classic Special Forces guy, not Special Operators, Special Forces guy came up to me and he just retired, big bushy beard, and I didn't recognize him because I've met so many of these guys, these great warriors.
And he said, you know, I'm John Smith and You taught me at Bragg at the Q course, the qualification course for the Green Berets at the John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center at the school.
And he just said one thing.
He said, thank you for what you taught us, the materials you gave us, because it's still informing what we're doing in Afghanistan right now.
My brothers-in-arms who are still in theater are still using the things you taught them.
That doesn't make your day, that doesn't make your week, it makes your year when you hear something like that.
And I'm so grateful for him sharing that with me.
But the idea today that we are being lectured by civilians and even generals.
Generals!
Like the Marine General.
This is a disgrace!
Who is saying in briefings yesterday that the Taliban are our partner.
Quote, our partner.
Now on one issue, whether you're Shia or Sunni, there is agreement.
It doesn't matter whether you're Al-Qaeda, the Brotherhood, Hizb ut-Tahrir, Al-Nusra, ISIS, ISIS-Khorasan, doesn't matter which jihadi organization you are, whether you're in Nigeria or Egypt, there's one thing that is common to all of them.
They are engaged in a war To the death, an apocalyptic vision in where they see their salvation, not as a function of reconciliation with their God, but in killing you.
That guarantees their salvation.
The vaunted virgins.
They think that if they die trying to kill one American, they go straight to heaven, because that's what their religion tells them.
Don't believe me?
Read the Qur'an!
Read the Hadith!
Read the chapter that says, after the holy months are past, engage in a war with the infidel until you win or until they submit.
And the idea that anyone, a grown adult, can say the Taliban are our partners, the Taliban are jihadists, and they want to kill you as much as they want to kill those brave marines and that corpsman.
Educate yourself.
Read the Quran.
Read my book, Defeating Jihad, and never let the politicians or the woke generals pull the wall over your eyes ever again.
Let's go to Mike, who's been waiting very patiently in Thousand Oaks.
Mike, welcome to America First.
Seb, thank you so much for taking my call.
I want to pivot a little bit from Afghanistan, but for your California listeners, there is legislation to do a backdoor vaccine passport, and it's AB455.
Just want to alert them to this.
Thank you.
To call their reps.
Thank you.
That's it?
Is that it?
Well, there's more to it than that.
It's basically a transportation bill, and they're trying to gut it and amend it to make it... What's the number again?
It's called Assembly Bill or AB-455.
All right, check it out.
AB-455, the fascistic measure to create vaccine passports in California.
Gotta stop it now.
Barry, waiting very patiently.
Barry, welcome aboard.
Thank you, Dr. G. I want to get your perspective.
I think, you know, I think President Trump named D.C.
incorrectly.
As I've done some of my own research, it seems more like a sewage.
than a swamp.
And I guess I wanted to get your perspective on how does someone like Jake Sullivan in 44, he's nothing but obviously become an imbecilic intellectual who's in charge of the national security apparatus, and Joe Finer, and you know, the deputy.
None of these people have any real world experience.
And they basically, I think, when I looked at Jake Sullivan's background, he was An attorney for a year or two, and then he immediately went into politics.
So he's obviously a bad attorney.
And then they cried when Trump was in office for three years, but then they went out and enriched themselves with millions of dollars working for defense contractors.
I'll tell you, Barry, I'll tell you right now what Jake Sullivan's qualification for being the National Security Advisor of the United States.
His qualification was he was the bag man.
He was the body man.
He was the Deputy Chief of Staff to that other murderous politician, Hillary Clinton.
All of these people were involved in Benghazi and that's not a coincidence.
Thank you for your calls.
I'm Sebastian Gorka.
This is America First.
Right?
Can you block the calls?
Yeah, they're blocked.
Thanks.
Alright, I'll go ahead and call Jim then.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Alrighty, and we're coming in with disclaimer for American... Car 15.
Yeah, you do Car 15, I'm coming in with American Finance disclaimer.

I mentioned it earlier.
If you didn't believe it, if you didn't hear the press conference from the man who thinks he's the president, this is how much in control he is.
This is yesterday during the press conference.
Cut 13.
Play cut.
Ladies and gentlemen, I gave me a list here.
The first person I was instructed to call on was Kelly O'Donnell of NBC.
The first person I was instructed to take a question from.
Who's instructing the man who bears the title of Commander-in-Chief?
Let's try and get to the bottom of the insanity and sadly the tragedy of the last 24 hours with such a good friend of this show, Vice President for All Matters, National Security and Foreign Policy.
He's working hard as we speak.
He has been commentating non-stop on what he's been witnessing.
Jim Carafano, welcome back to America First.
Hey, thanks for having me.
First of all, and I know you've probably said this on your show about a thousand times, and I'm sure every one of your viewers feels exactly the same way, that every one of us, every real American, everywhere, the first thoughts in our prayers when we got up this morning, the last thoughts before we went to bed last night, is the soldiers that died.
And their families.
For every American serviceman that's lost, it usually directly affects at least 10 people.
And we all grieve with them today, and we all pray for them, and we thank God that these men and women choose to defend us.
If it's okay with you, I'd like to talk about the things that I don't think anybody else is really talking about.
Sure.
First things first, totally subscribe what you just said.
Let's pray every morning, every night for the families of those 12 Marines and that corpsman.
Give them strength, dear Lord.
Give them strength and all those who were injured as well.
Yeah, talk to us about what we're not talking about, Jim.
Take us there.
Well, the problem, the immediate problem I see is where this is going.
And I really see them telegraphing this.
And out of absolute weakness and total desperation, I think their plan is, we are going to work with the Taliban.
These are the people that overthrew the government.
These are terrorists.
They have links with terrorists.
But there's no way we can get the Americans safely out of the country without their cooperation.
There's no way that we're ever going to track down the guys who did the bombing without their cooperation.
And so this administration thinks that they're going to work with the Taliban.
They foolishly think they have leverage over the Taliban.
They foolishly think the Taliban are going to work with us in good faith.
And you know what this is going to turn into?
This is going to turn into exactly the relationship that the United States had with Pakistan, when for decades we put our faith And, okay, we know the ISI talks to terrorists.
We know the Pakistani military talks to terrorists.
We know that.
But we work with them and they help us.
And here's what they do.
They will do things to help you that help them.
They will do things to help you that you have to pay an exorbitant price to help them.
But what they will never do, what they will never do is look out for you.
Pakistan could have helped the United States stop this invasion.
Instead, the President of Pakistan congratulated the Taliban Unliberating the country of Afghanistan.
And so, we are going to make the exact same mistake again.
We are going to do a deal with the devil.
We are going to work with the Taliban.
These idiots are going to convince themselves that this is to the benefit of U.S.
interests.
And we are going to be building the biggest terrorist enterprise since before 9-11.
And folks realize that we today, we don't know as much going on in Afghanistan as we did when Bill Clinton blindly lobbed cruise missiles at them.
We have less capacity to deal with what's going on in Afghanistan today than we did on 9-11 20 years ago.
We are in an incredibly strategic weak point.
And they are looking for any life raft to grab onto, and they're grabbing on the wrong one, my brother.
Let's talk about concrete realities of the last two weeks.
It is every single hour we are getting more and more information that is pointed towards the following scenario, Jim, and I'd like you to react to it.
I know that in times of peace, the ambassador In the country is the personal representative of the president.
Everybody reports to him, even the defense attache and the chief of station for the CIA.
But we are hearing right now that it was Blinken's State Department, Jim, that convinced the White House that we don't need that 32-acre strategic airbase in Bagram that can hold 21 C-17s with two airports outside the center of the town in a safe Here's why I believe that could be true.
going to do it all out of Hamid Karzai Airport.
Have you heard anything to this nature?
And just talk to us about what it means to lose the only strategic airbase in the whole theater, Jim.
Well, here's why I believe that that might could be true.
This is probably the worst planned military operation in the history of military operations.
There's nothing in this plan that makes any sense.
You know this, you've dealt with, worked with military peoples for years.
When you do a plan, you do a couple things.
One, is you know no plan provides contact with the enemy.
So you really plan for contingencies.
Two, you plan operations.
So as the operation goes on, you increase your opportunities and options, and you take those away from the enemy.
And the other thing you do is, you know the enemy gets a vote.
And the enemy never votes in your favor.
So you never plan for success.
You always plan for things going wrong.
This operation was the complete opposite.
There was no contingency planning.
The presumption was the bad guys were going to help us.
So we narrowed our options as things unfolded.
We didn't expand them.
So nothing in here that looks like an operation that was actually planned by anybody that graduated the officer candidate school.
And if a general is told that this is the decision, isn't it his duty to say, no, Mr. President, that's wrong, or to resign, Jim?
Well, look, we have one of two scenarios here.
Either because this was such an appallingly poorly planned operation, either the president's advisors are completely incompetent, or they gave him the advice and he ignored it.
Unfortunately, I suspect it's actually a combination of both.
Truly frightening wherever the actual decision occurred.
At the end of the day, it is clear in military tradition, the commander bears all responsibility.
And right now, whether you like it or not, the commander-in-chief is a man who says the Taliban are the people we're going to work with.
Individuals who have sworn themselves to destroy Americans simply because we're Americans.
We're talking to Jim Carufano.
Follow him at JJ Carufano.
I'm Sebastian Gorka, back after these messages.
If you want to hear what President Trump had to say on this radio show two days ago, you've got to go to our Rumble channel.

So in that case, we still have quite a few cuts we can go through.
We do.
We've got car and relief here.
Car 15.
We can also touch on the whole Michael Burr thing.
Yes, yes, yes, definitely.
Definitely.
I just sent you an updated screenshot of the call list.
Mm-hmm.
Okay.
I'm going to tee up 11 after the read, and then we'll do the bird stuff.
Okay, 11 after the read.
Oh yeah, Biden.
And then Burnstuff.
Copy that.
Oh, and a title for Jim.
Uh.
Um, hang on a second.
Yeah.
How much time?
2 minutes 45 seconds.
Yeah, 245.
We've got tons of time.
Give me line one. - Mic's on or off?
Off. Off. Off. Off. Off.
Thank you.
40 seconds.
Car read, tee it up, and then we'll end with relief.
So it's car read, tee it up, and then we'll end with relief.
Yes.

Guys, do I talk about the call that I took in the break?
What do you think, Eric?
including the famed Thompson machine gun in semi-automatic version, the Desert Eagle, the CM9.
I carry a 9mm.
Check them out.
KAHR.com.
You won't regret it.
Guys, do I talk about the call that I took in the break?
What do you think, Eric?
Do I mention that?
It was so astronomically hilarious that, yes, I think it's worth mentioning.
Uh, let's ask the new member of the team.
We have to welcome him on board!
Shrad has gone off to, I don't know, greener pastures.
We wish him every good fortune.
And we are joined by John Jr., a man injured but running the board.
Welcome aboard, John Jr.! !
Thank you so much.
Yeah, the leg is a little broken, but I'm still able to move the dials back.
Did you hear that?
The leg is a little broken.
I've seen the x-ray.
It's not a little broken.
It's a lot of broken.
But that's how dedicated our team members are.
Welcome aboard, John.
John, do I talk about that call?
Yeah, I mean, I have no clue.
It was so astronomically weird that I would mention it.
Okay, I'm going to do it.
I'm going to do it.
We had a caller in the break.
I sometimes take calls in the break just because.
And he said, Because the government fled in Afghanistan and the Taliban is illegal, why shouldn't we invade the country and make it part of America?
And I was kind of speechless.
And I just asked one question, and he didn't have a good answer.
I asked him, so I guess 22,000 killed and injured Americans in 20 years wasn't enough for you.
Please, my friend, stop the drugs or read a book.
Please, read a book.
Let's listen to what the man who thinks he's the president has to say.
This is how disgusting Joe Biden is.
Cut 11.
Play cut.
I think they have an issue that people are likely to get hurt, some, as we've seen, have gotten killed, and that it is messy.
The reason why, whether my friend will acknowledge it or has reported it, the reason why there were no attacks on Americans, as you said, from the date until I came into office was because the commitment was made by President Trump, I will be out by May 1st.
In the meantime, you agree not to attack any Americans.
That was the deal.
That's why no American was attacked.
And you said a few days ago, you said you squarely stand by your decision to pull out.
Yes, I do.
You know the weird thing is, he just admitted that That he didn't keep Donald Trump's deal.
He didn't keep the prior president's deal, like he's been saying.
Because that deal, conditions-based, was for a withdrawal by May 1st.
I'm too old to jump in, but if they ask me, I'm going, Dr. Judy.
Donald Trump's deal.
You see how they lie and they get caught in their lies.
That's who they are.
Let's go to your calls.
Good buddy, Ray in Livermore.
He's polishing his boots.
He's sharpening his dagger.
Welcome back to America First, Ray.
Oh, I'm too old to jump in.
But if they ask me, I'm going, Dr. G.
I know you are.
Airborne, brother.
Airborne.
Well, he had nothing worse than a grumpy old man with a car four.
Okay.
Alright, your take, your response, your questions.
Well, I called and I asked about the variants of the same deadly virus called ISIS or Taliban or Al-Qaeda.
You pretty much answered it, whether it's ISIS-K or... But that's a great way of putting it.
I haven't even thought of that.
They're all variants of the same bloody virus.
Genius, Ray.
I love it.
Yeah.
Whether it's ISIS-Lambda or ISIS-K, who cares?
Kill them all.
Kill them all.
I don't care.
Kill them all.
Let's add a little levity here.
Joe Biden, there's a lot of talk about him being impeached.
And you cannot impeach him because he learned from Obama to buy the insurance policy before you move out.
And Obama's insurance policy against impeachment was Joe Biden.
And Joe Biden's policy against impeachment is Kamala Harris.
Nobody wants her.
He will not be impeached.
We will suffer him.
We will suffer.
That's genius.
That's genius, Ray.

He has an insurance policy and it is the cackler.
God bless you.
Thank you for your service to this nation in the airborne.
Ray from Livermore.
Yeah, it's scary.
We could have the cackler instead.
But even if we did, then they'd see the Democrats even more for what they are, because she might be even worse than he is.
I'm Sebastian Gawker.

Standby.
Alright, 30 seconds?
Standing by.
Did you say something?
I asked if we're coming in with anything or not.
Oh, uh, 2nd Amendment Friday.
That's right.
Okay.
Complacency is a weakness that patriots cannot afford.
For this reason, Carr Firearms is teaming up with America First in 2021.
Carr believes Americans shouldn't be afraid to publicly stand up for our freedoms.
This is about more than being a gun enthusiast.
This is a very personal struggle for the soul of America.
Carr wants America First listeners to know that they are not afraid to publicly support Second Amendment Friday.
Check out the great US-made products at car.com.
That's K-A-H-R dot com.
That's K-A-H-R dot com.
And our special guest for this Second Amendment Friday is an individual I...
Well, you know, he's got me in trouble recently.
His name is Tim Harmsen.
He is a YouTube content provider, a superb channel called the Military Arms Channel, where he reviews weapons.
One review which led me to ask him, hey, where could I get one of those?
And he found one, and my credit card is all the more injured for it.
Tim Harmsen, welcome to America First.
How are you doing, my friend?
I am really quite annoyed because I'm on vacation and I bought that Hungarian SVD Dragunov.
It's at my dealer and he's just telling me this gun is amazing and I'm sitting 500 miles away and I want to go and get it, Tim!
I know that feeling all too well.
I really do.
All right, so I'm going to be rushing home this weekend.
I'm going to Sunday, going to go over there, do the paperwork, and I'm going to maybe post some pictures of the weapon that this fine, fine man helped me to find.
Thank you, Tim.
Tim, that's the fun portion.
Let's get serious.
You are.
A former Marine, you're a great American patriot.
I posted yesterday because I'm fed up with all these people saying, you know, the sacrifice of our soldiers.
These weren't soldiers.
These were 12 Marines and a corpsman who were killed yesterday.
Let's just start with that.
Your message to your fellow brothers, your fellow devil dogs today.
Well, I mean, there's a flurry of text messages going around and private messages.
Everybody's been talking about it.
Um, it's just, it's absolutely unbelievable.
And what I think is driving everyone nuts is the fact that this was completely avoidable.
Um, that just, you, I mean, I could, I could go into the mechanics of it, but you know, pulling out the military and then trying to go and retrieve American citizens, that's just putting the cart before the horse.
It was done completely backwards.
It seems like just a completely arbitrary decision to just like, you know what, we're out of Afghanistan.
Let's make it, August 31st and then we can celebrate September 1st.
Really?
Let's stop here.
This is massively important because this seems to be the real reason behind this insanity that they wanted to have that picture postcard moment that for the anniversary, the 20th anniversary of 9-11, Biden could say, I'm the guy who pulled out of Afghanistan And that's really why those Marines and that corpsman had to die every day.
I want us in the morning, in the evening, to pray for their souls and to pray for the strength of their families.
Let's extrapolate.
Let's go to 50,000 feet.
You're a gun guy.
You're a massive Second Amendment guy.
I got famous before I went to the White House for saying something on Fox News after the Paris attacks, the suicide attacks.
I said, you need to understand America.
That in this war there is no front line like there was in World War I or World War II.
There's no Verdun, there's no Maginot, there's no trenches.
The front line begins when you leave your door in the morning.
That's why the Second Amendment is more important than ever.
Our border is open.
There are people who will be infiltrating from Afghanistan, from ISIS.
Can we put the events of the last seven days into that context and to understand this is all the more reason to take the Second Amendment seriously, Tim?
Absolutely.
You know, I wish more Americans would exercise their rights during the pandemic.
You know, we have a gun store.
We did see increased sales.
That was pretty much globally.
People understood the importance then.
But it seems like, you know, when the pandemic's dying down, now people are selling their stuff off.
They don't truly understand how important being able to defend yourself, your family, your friends and loved ones is.
And you can't do that with a pointed stick.
You know, I mean, I guess you could if you're really effective, but let's agree to one thing, that having a firearm It's a great advantage to people, and it's a tremendous advantage to women and people that might not be physically fit or, you know, well-versed in martial arts.
It's the great equalizer.
And we need Americans out there supporting the Second Amendment, exercising their rights.
And we know that more guns actually does equal less crime, to quote the title of a famous book by John Lott.
So it's absolutely true.
Statistics support it.
And people really need to get out there and exercise those rights and convince other people.
Start a conversation with your friends and family and get them educated as to the importance of the Second Amendment.
And that's just one of many ways we can hopefully improve our situation.
As the old saying goes, God made man and Samuel Colt made them equal.
Tim, fascinating.
I haven't heard that.
You are in there.
You're in the industry.
You're doing amazing gun content videos.
You have your firearm shop as well.
So you're seeing people who've bought weapons in the COVID crush, in the post-Trump crush, and now they want to start selling them.
That's disturbing.
That means they don't understand the Second Amendment.
They don't understand why it's part of our Constitution.
In the last minute we have with you, Tim, let's talk directly to those people, because we've got three million listeners, and maybe some of them are our listeners or viewers.
What is your message to those who bought a gun, Didn't shoot it, didn't practice, and now want to sell it.
Well, my advice would be to go get some training, learn how to use it, and then get involved in the community.
I have never seen in my entire life a more friendly, welcoming community than the firearms community.
You know this from your own experience.
You can go to a firing range anywhere in America, and you'll have people offering to help you if you're having trouble.
You have people offering ammunition and magazines, and, hey, you want to come over and shoot my gun, and things like that.
You know, three-pointers.
People, you know, the media has done a complete hit job on the Second Amendment community and the gun culture in the United States because the gun owners in America, the vast, vast majority are good, hard-working Americans, and they're the type of people that would give you their shirt off their backs to a complete stranger.
They're not these evil people they keep painting us as.
So, you know, I would just hope that they would get out there and get more involved in the community, and I think they would then want to stay in the community.
It's a wonderful community.
It's really a family.
Become part of it.
Don't just have that thing at home that's a loaded paperweight.
Get training and exercise your civil rights, because the Second Amendment is a civil right.
Follow this man, Mac underscore Arms, on Twitter, but more importantly on YouTube, Military Arms Channel.
Now go away, Tim, and review something that I have to go and buy.
Will you do that for me?
I'll try to do that.

God bless you.

For such a peculiar interview in the midst of the disaster, the tragedy in Afghanistan, the officer who we finally can know his name, Lieutenant Michael Byrd, was interviewed by the Lying Legacy Media as to why he had to kill Ashley Babbitt.
These are his unbelievable words.
Cut five!
When you fired, what could you see?
Where were you aiming?
You're taught to aim for center mass.
The subject was sideways and I could not see her full motion of her hands or anything.
So I guess her movement And what did you think this individual was doing at that moment?
That's weird.
How are you posing a threat if you're not able to see her hands?
You're a liar, Michael Byrd.
You should be up for manslaughter charges.
But he thinks he's some kind of hero for killing Ashley Babbitt.
Cut six.
Given the nature of the threats that you describe, do you have any concern about showing your face and identifying yourself?
Of course I do.
That is a very vital point, and it's something that is frightening.
I believe I showed the utmost courage on January 6th, and it's time for me to do that now.
Who talks like that?
I showed the utmost courage by killing an unarmed woman whose hands you couldn't see.
That man should be stripped of his badge and his gun and should be up on charges.
Next, Lee Smith explaining why what's happening in Afghanistan is happening and the connection To the elite mentality of the swamp here in America.

For our latest edition of America First one-on-one.
Welcome, dear friends.
I am delighted to have on the show somebody who's been a regular guest on America First.
Man I've known for years.
Respect highly.
Why?
Because he's a truth teller.
He will tell you The things you need to know, even if they are unpleasant.
And right now, that is more important than ever.
He is the author of numerous superlative works, including The Plot Against the President, The Permanent Coup, and The Strong Horse.
You can see his writings at the Epoch Times, at the Tablet, and elsewhere.
Lee Smith, welcome to America First One-on-One.
Thank you, Seb, for bringing me on.
Another pivotal moment it looks like in our, certainly our current history.
So thanks very much and always great to be speaking with you.
Sadly, yes.
History is being written right now and written in blood in Afghanistan.
Follow this man, Lee Smith, DC.
Let's start.
We have the whole hour with you.
What I'm doing now with these new one-on-one discussions is allowing our millions of listeners and viewers to get to know our good friends a little bit better.
So talk to us about Lee Smith's journey to where he is today.
What's your background?
Where you hail from?
And what you're really passionate about, Lee?
Well, you know, I mean, I'm from New York City originally, and it was, it was the September 11th attacks.
You talked about the strong words before that, that first book of mine in 2010, it was published.
And what sent me to the Middle East was the September 11th attacks.
I was trying to figure out exactly what had happened in my hometown.
Why, on September 11th, we were walking around covered in the ashes of our neighbors in New York.
And what I found out was, you know, the question at the time was, why do they hate us?
And the way that I, the conclusion I drew was that it wasn't really about us.
It was actually about a hugely damaged part of the world, the Middle East.
And these fights, we were a part of a larger fight between Different factions in the Middle East who are fighting, and this is what we're seeing right now in Afghanistan as well, that the real fight there is between different factions who call this land their own.
And we stepped into the middle of that fight, and we took sides with some people, with a part of those With a part of that community and we see the consequences now of not winning, right?
That's a sign that our elites, our establishment has never been very serious or has not been serious for quite some time about winning because the consequences are existential.
I mean, they're actually about life and death.
So instead, what our elites did was they pushed their own pet agendas Whether this was feminism, whether it was about not enough women in the military, whether it was about parliamentary reform in a place that knows nothing about democracy, whether it was about the LGBT agenda and the pride flag flying from the U.S.
Embassy.
And so while American elites were paying so much attention to that, what happened is that they didn't bother winning.
And so we see the consequences.
Americans die and The people that we partnered with there die as well.
As it turns out right now in this particular moment in history, it's extremely dangerous to partner with the United States because our ruling class, our leadership, is not only not serious, they're extraordinarily dangerous.
Aside from to themselves, they protect themselves, but they can't protect Americans or our allies.
Instead, they walk them into hell.
You say they're not serious, they're dangerous to others, except to themselves.
But in a recent interview you gave with the Epoch Times, you went even further.
You used a phrase, I think, with reference to the last 20 years in Afghanistan, that it was just a money laundering venture.
Can you explain what you mean by that phrase?
Yeah, sure.
If you look at the number of American...
Maybe some of your great audience has seen this clip of a young woman teaching contemporary art, teaching about Marcel Duchamp to a class of Afghani students who are absolutely befuddled.
They don't know what's going on.
So what we see here is this is a small part.
It was a jobs program, right?
They were paying off constituents.
They were giving people jobs and processing a lot of money.
And one thing that a lot of people do not understand is, most people, they talk about the defense industry, they talk about defense lobbyists, they talk about contractors, but that's not it.
That's not the people who live inside of Washington, D.C.
itself.
As you know, who live around the Beltway, as I used to.
The people who live inside of Washington, D.C.
are blue voters.
These are the people Whose 401ks are tied to NGOs in Afghanistan.
So the money wasn't just going to defense contractors.
It wasn't just going to people we affiliate or we associate with the right.
It was going to people we associate with the left.
So all the nice women walking, all the nice ladies and all the nice men walking around at the Women's March with the pink pussy hats.
These people were profiting from the adventure, the experiment in Afghanistan.
They were all getting paid.
The entire city of Washington has been running for the last 20 years on contractor money for the war in Afghanistan.
That's what I mean about laundering money.
They were paying off constituents through stuff going on in Afghanistan.
If you see how companies, how businesses grew, people who are taking money from USAID to do work in Afghanistan, I mean, these became multi-hundred million dollar It's outrageous.
And here's the other significant factor.
This was the money of American taxpayers.
So the swamp was using U.S.
taxpayer money to pay their own constituents, their own clients off.
That's what I mean about money laundering.
American taxpayers were not only many of them sending their children to the armed services or to do aid work, but they were also paying For the swamp to be able to dish out goodies to its clients.
The entire two decade long adventure in Afghanistan, it was the most corrupting military engagement in American history.
Nothing comes even close.
Well, let's talk about it specifically.
Let's have a quote from my old boss, who was on our show this week, talking about the precipitous events of just the last few days, which have led to deaths, deaths of U.S.
Marines as well.
This is the 45th president of the United States.
Cut to play cuts.
You know, you talk about the greatest military, but take a look at what happened in Afghanistan.
I mean, we beat the Nazis, but look at this.
We're being sent out of Afghanistan.
And frankly, the August 31st aid is not being lengthened because they're not allowing him to do it.
It's not because of him.
It's because they're not allowing him any more time.
Whoever thought this was possible?
So with this woke culture, our military is going to be a loser and the whole country is going to be a loser.
You've written extensively on the national security threats we face as a nation.
You're an expert on things, cultures in the Middle East and elsewhere.
What is the signal sent to our adversaries and just the elites of Central Asia, of North Africa, the Middle East, when the American president gives in to the Taliban's deadline, Lee Smith?
Well, I mean, I'll say one thing for the Taliban.
They're a fairly serious group.
The way that they've spoken to Biden, the actual deadline that they've set, if you're not gone by August 31st, then you're still occupying our country.
I mean, that's fairly serious, right?
It's not like the Iranians have this, you know, moronic death to America, death to America, and this is an aging, sclerotic regime.
I mean, the people in charge are in there, are in their 70s and 80s, but the Taliban seems to be a fairly serious group.
So confronted with a sclerotic American regime, at the top of which is Joe Biden, I think that people around the world, adversaries and allies alike, are saying that the United States is trouble.
It's very dangerous right now to be associated with this particular administration.
I mean, that's what events show very clearly day in, day out at this point.
Yeah, and it's that factor, that influence, isn't simply detrimental to our relations with partners in the region or countries that need to be stable, but also to our allies, to those who now don't trust us, whether it's our closest allies, the Brits, Whether it's the statements coming out of NATO nations from the Baltic region.
These are people who do not trust America.
At least with the proviso, do not trust America under current leadership.
We're talking to author, to columnist, to investigative journalist Lee Smith.
Follow him, Lee Smith DC.
He is the man behind works such as The Plot Against the President and The Permanent Coup.
The first book is now an amazing movie made by Amanda Milius.
You can watch it at P-A-T-P-Movie.com.
That's The Plot Against the President.
P-A-T-P-Movie.com.
I'm Sebastian Gorka.
This is America First on the Salem Radio Network.
Lee, let's Talk about a piece that you wrote that concentrated on one concept from the Middle East called Asabiya.
Forget the weapons, forget the 600,000 machine guns, the Black Hawk helicopters, the armored personnel carriers, the money spent on Think tanks and, you know, PowerPoint presentations on grand strategy.
To understand what's happening in Kabul, in the Middle East, with ISIS, with Al-Qaeda, with Al-Nusra, with Hezbollah, with Hamas, you have to understand culture.
You can basically ignore everything else as long as you understand culture.
Explain to our listeners and our viewers the centrality of this concept, Asabiya, And how we got it wrongly.
Right.
This is a concept handed down by the medieval Arab historian, Ibn Khaldun, who's a fascinating and brilliant writer.
His masterwork is called Al-Muqaddimah.
This is a melding of Machiavelli and Alex de Tocqueville for the Arab world, right?
Yeah, yeah.
He's a fascinating figure, fascinating figure.
His focus was primarily on the Bedouin tribes, right?
He was an Arab, so he wanted to look at the Bedouin tribes.
These were the tribes that gave rise to the Islamic conquests, right?
And the Arab empire, very impressive and formidable.
His idea was that the engine of history is this concept, Asabiya.
The way to translate that would be, you can call it cohesion, you can call it group solidarity.
So, yes.
But not national identity, correctly?
Well, the important thing is that you can't have nations without group solidarity.
Nations, groups of people, they have to feel connected to each other.
They have to be proud of their mission, inspired by their mission.
Right.
But that's a very interesting point.
While people While now Westerners, and this is not just in the United States, but it's throughout Western Europe as well, even Israel, bizarrely enough, that people are terrified about the idea of national identity.
Isn't nationalism just like what gave rise to the Nazis, which is of course childish and babyish.
Nationalism is what gives rise to the ideas of nations.
My idea of American nationalism starts fundamentally from my reading American literature, right?
19th century American writers.
From Hervin Melville to Walt Whitman, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Emily Dickinson, they were all trying to figure out what it means to be American.
We're not like the Brits.
That's where we come from.
We share that language.
But who are we?
We're a different people.
We're a different tribe.
We're a different nation.
And that strength, that identity, that belief in your mission as an individual group That's where power resides.
It's not in weapon systems.
Look at all of our Arab allies to whom we sell premier American weapon systems, right?
But no one is going to invest.
The Saudis don't invest their own national security in the Saudi armed forces, right?
They invest it in the United States, or they have in the past.
So that's what is the engine of history, this group solidarity, cohesion.
And this is what the Taliban has.
And this is why people are wrong to be surprised that a group of rough Pashtun tribesmen could run through Afghanistan and take over Kabul that quickly.
And people are also surprised that the Americans got moved over that quickly.
But if you look again at our leadership, our elites, It is their failure to have group solidarity.
Not just in advancing American interests, they don't believe in the basic idea of America.
Let's stop here.
We have to drill down on this point.
Let's stop here.
Let's stop here.
This is we have to drill down on this point.
So so group solidarity, group identity, fighting for the group.
Isn't it fair to say that that the elite has a sabia for themselves, but not for America?
So, can you use this prism of Asabiya on America?
Let's talk about how it functions and the disconnect between different participles.
So, talk to us a bit about the elite Beltway Asabiya and then, let's say, the Asabiya of the troops who were killed in Kabul.
Right, right.
Well, Imam Khadun, when he was speaking about Asabiya, He also associated this with courage, right?
He associated this with the rough manners of the Bedouins in the desert.
These were courageous people.
These were tough people.
They were self-reliant, right?
For us, we can think of in terms of American pioneers.
He can think of in terms of the people who settled the country, both on the East Coast and then who moved to the West Coast.
That's the toughness, right?
These are tough, hard people.
These are the people who also wound up fighting the First World War.
And the Second World War.
We still do have that asabiya in the United States.
And it's found in the same locations it's always been.
It's in the heartland of America.
And this is why, when the elites call them the deplorables, when they call them flyover country whatever, they are sneering at the source, the wellspring of the strength of America.
What has always been the source of America's strength.
They sneer at it.
Not only that, they want to destroy it, right?
What is the 1619 Project?
Aside from an initiative backed by the American elite, by the creme de la creme, the New York Times, to say the founding of this country is a lie.
The real founding, it was founded in slavery.
It was founded in vicious ideas.
It was founded in dirt.
All of your heroes, all of your monuments, your histories, your stories, the stories you tell to each other, Your flags, your symbols, it's all nonsense.
You're all garbage.
So, naturally, this runs directly counter to the idea of asabilla, which is about people who embrace their symbols, embrace their history.
Embrace their families.
Let me get political here.
Embrace their symbols.
This phrase, let's stop.
Embrace their symbols.
Take Ibn Khaldun and apply embrace your symbols metric of Asabiya to the red MAGA hat and a certain politician, my former boss, who would come out on stage and hug the flag of America.
Isn't that Asabiya?
Right.
Ibn Khaldun, I believe, had he attended any of Donald Trump's campaign rallies, he would have said, that guy's got it, and so does all this crowd.
And that's what leadership looks like.
Leadership is understanding who the people are and describing who those people are back to themselves, right?
Reflecting their ambitions, reflecting their dreams, reflecting their strengths.
Embracing them, right?
That's what leadership looks like.
It doesn't look like what our elites express, which is contempt for the country, contempt for the citizens of this country.
That, he would have recognized, and Khaldun would have said, that country, that country has passed its due date.
They are on the way out, and they will be replaced by a new elite.
And this is why a lot of people, I don't know how much you and I have spoken about this, both You know, both here on your awesome show and privately.
But I'm optimistic.
I know a lot of people think I'm being Pollyannish.
The reason I am optimistic is not just because Donald Trump showed people and reminded people what America was, but because of the size of this country and because of the sheer love that Americans have for their country.
So what we are seeing fade from history is not America.
What we are seeing being moved aside is this particular branch of the American elite.
That's who's in trouble.
That's who's going down.
Okay, so this is hugely important.
Lee, you just said that this branch of the political elite is going down.
How does How does that happen?
What is that going to look like if this administration, in various permutations, pays a political price?
Is there another elite that is slotted into its place?
Does the GOP pick up the pieces?
I mean, I had the President, I had President Trump on the show, and he kind of I don't know if he dodged the question.
Maybe he didn't want to talk about it yet because he hasn't announced his official race.
But I said, Mr. President, the biggest threat you face, and as somebody who served in the White House under you, it's the personnel.
It's the fact that you wanted to drain the swamp, and the swamp basically drained him with 80 million mail-out ballots, with people undermining him at the FBI, the CIA, even his own attorney general.
Is there historical precedence?
If one elite crumbles, what scenarios do we have?
Can we fill that vacuum with a new elite that has a new Asabiya?
Talk to us about scenarios and permutations, Lee.
Well, how about this?
Before, I mean, politics is important, right?
But the way that I think about it is there is no love in politics.
There is no redemption in politics, right?
Even for Bill Clinton?
Oh my gosh, that's a man who had more than a few bites of the apple.
Sorry, Lee, carry on.
No, no, that's all right.
Our strength does not reside in politics.
Our strength as Americans does not reside in politics.
It resides on the things that we were talking about before.
It resides in our symbols, our shared history, our holidays, July 4th, right?
July 4th, one of the greatest holidays of all time.
What an amazing holiday.
That's where our strength is, in our communities, in our families, in our faith.
That's where our strength is.
This is where leaders are emerging.
This is where leaders must emerge.
There's plenty of time for politics.
More important than the Republican Party, than flushing out all the rhinos, or making sure voters flush them out, or all the never-Trumpers, or trying to encourage others to heal the Democratic Party, which, you know, which is, it's an important American institution, right?
So rather than look to that right away, I say it's important we build our communities, right?
Politics will always be there.
We are always going to have Politics.
I know people are concerned that, rightly so, with the scary and terrible things these guys are doing, whether it's the withdrawal, whether it's the manner in which they've withdrawn from Afghanistan, whether it's the COVID lockdowns, whether it's the threatened vaccine mandates, whether it's the desire to put all elections in the hands of the federal government.
They're doing scary things, no doubt about it.
But guess what?
Our foundations, the basis of our strength, the basis of our ability to change these things is not in politics.
It's in our communities and it's in our families.
We have definitely a rocky road ahead.
Who knows how long?
The only way we're going to get through it is by going to tapping our sources of strength.
That's how we do it.
So that's my first answer.
There are lots of terrific candidates and figures in the Republican Party, from Donald Trump to Governor Ron DeSantis.
There are people in the House and the Senate as well.
There are people in state governments, people in municipal governments.
We have plenty of leadership on the political level.
What I'm talking about is for individual Americans to rise up And play a leadership role, express dissatisfaction with the things that are bad, and work to raise the things that are good.
And I talk about whatever, whatever part of your own community it is, whether it's your reading group, whether it's your bowling team, whether it's the youth sports league, whatever it is, be a leader.
Lead by example.
This is who we are as Americans.
And this comes back to Ibn Khaldun and group solidarity.
Be an example.
We'll talk about group solidarity a little bit more with Lee Smith momentarily, but there's another truth teller I want you to support.
The left truly is trying to destroy him.
He's a great patriot.
He saved New York.
He took on Al-Qaeda after September the 11th.
We call him America's Mayor.
I call him Rudy.
He's a personal friend.
Will you please support this man?
They're trying to strip him of his law licenses and bankrupt him.

It's time for us to say thank you now.
That's RudyGiulianiFreedomFund.com.
RudyGiulianiFreedomFund.com.
Lee, you used the phrase... Can I say something about Mayor Giuliani?
Absolutely, please.
This fits in exactly with what we're talking about, the destruction of American history and American heroes.
Look, I lived in New York.
I'm from New York.
Like Mayor Giuliani, I'm a native New Yorker.
I was playing this.
None other than one of the greatest prosecutors in American history, Rudolph Giuliani.
These guys would turn on each other in a second, right?
They would sell each other out in a second, and they do it all the time.
And in fact, we saw After Biden's failed withdrawal right at the beginning, what happened?
They all started turning on each other.
Jake Sullivan, Defense Secretary Austin, Mark Milley, they all started shuffling off the blame and putting it on Biden or putting it on someone else.
That's who these people are.
None of them will stand up and accept responsibility for something they did and said, I must share in the blame.
This is something I did, or something, it's evidence of something I should have done and did not do.
So what do they believe in?
What is their center of gravity for these individuals?
Strictly self-interest, strictly self-advancement.
And to tell you how bad these elites, to tell you how bad they are, look at what they want.
Look at the most important thing that these people have, right?
They would do anything, anything to get A TV deal from CNN.
They would do anything.
They would do anything to be praised in the pages of the New York Times.
That's who our elite is.
They would do anything for an invitation to Barack Obama's birthday party.
Oh, look, there's Erykah Badu.
I'm going to go up and speak to Erykah Badu.
She's one of my favorite musicians ever.
Oh, look, there's John Podesta.
Oh, it's horrible.
That's the point.
Every country needs leadership.
Every nation Every society needs leadership and it needs people who will take responsibility.
They need elites as well.
Ours are terrible.
Ours are the pits.
Ours are among the worst in world history.
Not just American history, but world history.
We know that because of what they prize and because of what they love, right?
What do they love?
I want to be flattered.
I want to be honored.
By whom?
From whom do they desire honor?
The editorial board of the New York Times?
Enjoy.
That tells me all I need to know about who you are.
As I said when I was in the White House, if the Washington Post or the New York Times ever wrote anything nice about me, every Trump voter should ask for their money back.
So here's where your analysis is spot on.
I'm going to use this opportunity in front of millions of people to just thank you.
For never backing down, for constantly being committed to the truth, and getting in there to slay these un-American forces that are so despicable.
Well, thanks, but we're having fun, aren't we?
We are having fun!
Well, look, I am because I love conflict.
I'm the antithesis of Wasp America.
We live in meaningful times.
What a blessing.
I wake up every morning and say, you know, we live in meaningful times.
Who knew that it was going to be our generation, our cohort, who is going to have to go through this fight?
But we are.
We are.
And as Churchill said, a man, you know, what did he say?
He said, if you've got enemies, that's good, because it means that you've stood for something.
But here's the practical consequence of all of this.
I'm going to fight, you know, until my last breath leaves my lungs.
I must have some Italian in me or some Lebanese or something, because I love the fight.
I love the fight.
But as you have mentioned, and as I lived, I mean, I thought I was cynical enough, having grown up in a family where my parents suffered under fascism and communism.
My father was tortured by secret police, imprisoned, escaped in a revolution.
I thought, oh, D.C., I can do this.
And, you know, I worked in the Defense Department, and then I worked in the White House.
But what I witnessed in my time in D.C., in the White House, What was the utter depth of depravity, the politics of personal destruction that the other side is prepared to be involved in?
When my 18-year-old son, high school-age son, is targeted for smear pieces because his dad is in the Trump White House, you go, hang on a second, is this Venezuela?
So here's my question to you, Lee.
We do it, we're fine with it.
You're doing it, you're fine with it.
But do we have enough people who are prepared to take the slings and arrows?
Yes, absolutely.
I mean, there are lots of people out there.
And I'm telling you, the more and more Americans who are, you know, the more and more Americans from the heartland, again, the wellspring of this country's strength, absolutely.
They walk through fire every day.
Right?
I mean, we're surrounded by heroes, right?
They walk through fire every day, right?
Doing different things.
And I'm not just talking about, you know, our policemen or our firemen or our great doctors and nurses, not the corrupt nuts, not the junior Anthony Fauci's, but serious people, right?
They walk through fire.
They help America.
They love their country.
Absolutely, they're willing to take it.
So yeah, once they understand the stakes, it's about saving our country, saving our communities, saving our families.
That's our fight before us.
We have to get some of the mothers who are standing up to the fascist school boards and we have to get them to run for national office or to serve in federal government.
Is that the key?
Absolutely, get them to run for office, but also be inspired by them.
Stand up with them and go, yeah, I'm with her.
All right.
She's fighting.
I'm going to fight on her side.
We need to move on.
This hour is slipping by far too fast.
We're talking to Lee Smith, the author of just books you need to buy, books you need to read.
The first one is The Strongest Horse.
Then The Plot Against the President and The Permanent Coup.
Follow him.
Lee Smith, DC.
Okay.
Last question I have for you.
Okay.
What do you say to those people, Lee?
Who, and I think this is the majority of America, because you and I, we're addicts, right?
We love the politics.
We love the scrum.
We love shining a light on the cockroaches in the deep state.
I think most Americans are apolitical, in a healthy way, not in a lazy way, but you know, they've got lives to live.
Sure, absolutely.
And they're not going to watch Rachel Maddow or Sean Hannity because they want to just, you know, live their life and have fun with their kids.
What do you say to those people who, because of COVID, Because of the fall of Kabul, because of the 6,000 illegal aliens crossing the border every day, that they're suddenly waking up to what is going on in America.
What is your message to those people who are suddenly like Rip Van Winkle, rubbing the roof from their eyes?
The message is, yes, you're right, it's scary.
First message is, yes, you're right, it's scary, but it's going to be okay.
Because now that you know, the first thing is you need to know what's happening.
And now that you know, now we have, this is the first thing.
Now we need to work out different plans and different strategies to make sure our country is on the right track again.
But we're so glad you're with us now.
We're so glad that you see it.
There's lots of other people.
It's not just you.
Don't be scared.
You know, don't be scared of recognizing this strange thing, this scary thing.
There's so many people with you.
You can't believe how many people.
You probably have tons of neighbors, they weren't talking about it before, they didn't see it before, but now they see it too.
And I do believe that is what's happening.
Lots of people are seeing this stuff now, especially what's going on in Afghanistan, and different families, parents are seeing what's happening in schools again with the COVID regime.
And they're fighting.
That's a perfect note.
Don't be afraid.
Join the fight.
We're gonna have fun as we save this nation.
And that's really what my former boss had to say when he came on my show just this week.
Let's reinforce Lee's message.
God bless you, Lee.
Keep doing what you do.
This is Cut Six.
President Donald Trump.
...messages.
Keep the faith.
Keep praying.
Keep working.
Don't give up.
Don't ever give up.
We're going to bring our country back.
We made America great.
We're going to make it great again and again, because it's really, you know, make America great again.
Now it's make America great again, again, if you think about it.
But just keep fighting.
Keep your spirit going, because the spirit now is greater than I've ever seen it, Sebastian.
I've never seen the spirit As strong as it is right now.
And we will end up doing some incredible things in the not-too-distant future.
And you're never giving up?
You're never giving up, are you, sir?
Never give up.
Ever.
We can never give up.
And we can never let things like happened in Afghanistan happen again.
That's a disgrace.
The greatest embarrassment in the history of our country.
