Squared Away Sailor
00:04:34
|
|
| Live from New York, it's Get Off My Lawn with Gavin McInnes. | |
| Grind Core from Singapore. | |
| That's worm rot. | |
| Great band. | |
| Very peppy. | |
| Really gets you. | |
| Cooking gets you going, right? | |
| Am I right? | |
| I feel cooking. | |
| I was going to choose this song, Nate Allen Squared Away Sailor. | |
| It's really good, too. | |
| Maybe. | |
| I think if my son's dumb, no offense. | |
| Let me rephrase that. | |
| If my son isn't destined for an executive life, I think I want him in the Navy. | |
| Discipline, good group of guys. | |
| And I don't think you die in the Navy. | |
| Navy and Air Force are pretty risk-free. | |
| You're not going to be going mock 10 if you're in the Air Force. | |
| That's just for the elites. | |
| I'm a squared away sailor loves to go get trashed. | |
| And if I'm really lucky, they'll send me to Captain's Mask. | |
| Tributing to my nerves. | |
| Come talk to me. | |
| My uniform looks like shit. | |
| My boots are done in the scuffle, but I'm alright with it. | |
| My haircut is on site, and I haven't shaved it. | |
| They tell me that I'm fucked up in a million different ways. | |
| Cause I'm a squared away sailor in the military. | |
| Speaking of squared away sailors in the military, as most of you know, I'm a war movie veteran. | |
| I've seen a lot of shit in my life. | |
| I have PTSD. | |
| I watched a lot of Vietnam movies. | |
| I've seen a lot of World War II movies. | |
| And I'm not saying I deserve the same kind of respect as someone who's actually been in the military. | |
| But outside of that, within the community of people who have never been in the military and never risked their life for their country, I'm one of the bravest. | |
| In the spectrum. | |
| In the spectrum. | |
| There's two categories. | |
| There's veterans who deserve valor. | |
| Stolen valor is not a thing, because I'm not lying. | |
| And then in this group, non-veterans, within the non-veteran community, I'm the most veterany. | |
| Right? | |
| That's true. | |
| We even have a statue of us. | |
| I don't know why you're in the statue. | |
| You're not a war movie vet. | |
| I've seen... | |
| Hi? | |
| Yes. | |
| I was in that statue. | |
| I got a Mauve heart for that. | |
| Yes. | |
| I got a Burgundy heart. | |
| I got a maroon heart for that. | |
| I got a copper star. | |
| And a copper cap. | |
| I'm such a war movie vet that I've seen the original All Quiet on the Western Front from 1930. | |
| It's a book. | |
| I think it came out in like 28. | |
| Imagine doing a war. | |
| Remember the lad Bible thing where they have an old soldier, new soldier? | |
| I was in that, you know, World War II. | |
| Oh, yeah, and he's like, I was in Iraq, and we do that just sitting across from each other. | |
| Two war movie vets? | |
| Saving Private Ryan Stoned. | |
| Oh, yeah. | |
| I saw Apocalypse Now on Acid. | |
| The weed we were smoking at our time had increased in THC. | |
| Actually, that's a good point. | |
| We were giggling when we were buying popcorn, and then, of course, I was traumatized by the opening scene on the beaches of Normandy. | |
| But this was when it came out. | |
| It was in theater. | |
| So that's probably 95 or something. | |
| That THC that I was doing back then is nothing compared to today. | |
| You know, we're having all these problems with mass psychosis? | |
| Pot is getting so good that it's bad. | |

Ninety-Five: The Samples Were Taken

|
|
| And young men, millennials, Zoomers are like going crazy and jumping off balconies and shit because they think the CIA is in the walls. | |
| It's become LSD. | |
| You are smoking acid. | |
| That's interesting. | |
| That's twenty fourteen. | |
| Look it up a little bit. | |
| I'm talking about the past year. | |
| It's gotten really mental. | |
| Let's see. | |
| So in nineteen ninety five, the samples were taken. | |
