| I was fired based on hypothetical situations, 13 allegations made against me from students. | |
| This was absolutely not something I could have ever imagined. | |
| However, as I start reading them, it all began to make sense. | |
| Several of them were not even legitimate allegations. | |
| But again, to the district, I had done something very, very wrong and serious. | |
| So there was one allegation stated I was not calling students by their preferred pronouns. | |
| This is where it gets so interesting. | |
| I never had a student come to me and say, Mrs. | |
| Tapia, I would like you to now call me this. | |
| Never. | |
| They learned from my views that I don't believe in, you know, calling people by preferred pronouns. | |
| I believe we're given the discernment to look at someone and know if they're male or female. |
