The Georgia Court of Appeals on Wednesday halted all proceedings in Trump's RICO case until the court rules on the effort to disqualify Fulton County District Attorney Fanny Willis.
The proceedings below in the Superior Court of Fulton County are hereby stayed pending the outcome of these appeals.

President Trump appeals hearing to disqualify Fulton County District Attorney Fanny Willis was tentatively set for October 4th.
Last month, the Georgia Court of Appeals agreed to review President Donald Trump's appeal to disqualify disgraced Fulton County District Attorney Fanny Willis from the Sham Rico case against him.
Upon consideration of the application for the inter-Lakuteri appeal, if that's how you pronounce it, it is ordered that is hereby granted.
The appellant may find a notice or the appellant, I guess is how you would say it, the notice of appeal within 10 days of the date of this order.
The clerk of superior court is directed to include a copy of this order in the record transmitted to the court of appeals, the court said.
In March, Georgia Judge Scott McAffey ruled that the crooked and dishonest Fanny Willis will be allowed to remain on the Trump case.

The next story, Judge Cannon expands hearing on validity of Jack Smith's special counsel appointment.

Judge Eileen Cannon will hold an expanded hearing on the validity of Jack Smith's special counsel appointment.
President Trump previously filed a motion to dismiss Jack Smith's classified documents, charges based on the unlawful appointment and funding of special counsel.
The eventure hearing is set for June 21st.

It goes on to say down here, a CNN reported Judge Eileen Cannon is planning on holding a sprawling hearing on Donald Trump's request to declare Jack Smith's appointment as special counsel invalid, signaling the judge could be more willing than any other trial judge to veto special prosecutors' authority.
The planned hearing also adds a new unusual twist in the federal crime, criminal national security case against the former president.
Cannon on Tuesday said that a variety of political partisans and constitutional scholars not otherwise involved at the case can join in the oral argument later this month.
Judge Cannon last month indefinitely postponed the classified documents case after special counsel Jack Smith admitted to tampering with evidence.
The judge vacated the May 20th, 2024 trial date.
It may be several months until Judge Cannon sets a new trial date.
Jack Smith admitted the FBI messed up with boxes containing classified documents they seized from Trump and can't be sure that order or placement of the documents.
The DOJ previously assured the court that the placement of classified documents, as originally found, had been maintained.
They lied.
The DOJ, as we're seeing here in 2022, lied to the court when they claimed that the red, blue, and yellow sheet shown in the viral photo of the classified documents indicated classification status.
And that's where we're at.
The FBI is lying.
These are lawfare cases.
They're going to continue to try to put Trump in prison on his July sentencing.
The ultimate goal is these lawfare cases are backfiring.
It's increasing Trump's popularity among voters.
So the goal is to try to get him removed off the ballot or to put him in a place where he can't run like kill him.
Don't believe me, it's true.

Unfortunately for the lawfare queen, the case of her career, which involves charging 15 Michigan GOP electors with eight felonies each, appears to be imploding.
If Michigan's Democrat Attorney General is successful with her politically motivated witch hunt, which is still crazy, against the Trump supporting electors, and they are found guilty of all eight felony charges, it would be enough to send each member of the group, which consists primarily of senior citizens, to prison for life.
Of course, they're all white.
Of course, they were all entrapped, as we know that.
Unfortunately, for the lawfare queen of Michigan, after three days of testimony, it is becoming increasingly clear that A.G. Nessel or someone in her office selected the wrong cop to investigate the manufactured crime.
It goes on on Friday that Michigan GOP elector James Rainier Rainier, who previously worked in the security division of the Michigan State Police Department, testified in front of Judge Kristen Simmons.
During his testimony, Mr. Rainier revealed that he had agreed to a plea deal several months ago in return for his testimony in the case against his fellow GOP electors.
According to Mr. Rainier, his lawyers were in discussion with the Attorney General's office even before the agent's office filed formal charges against 15 of his fellow GOP electors.
Unfortunately for the politically motivated Michigan Attorney General's office, Mr. Rainier's testimony only helped his fellow electors as he confirmed under oath that he believed on December 14th, 2020, when he signed the alternate slate of electoral votes that the election was stolen from President Trump.
He also told the defense lawyers that he continues to hold the same belief today.
