Can We Take Away Chris Wray's Plane? with Devin Nunes and Julie Kelly

Adam Schiff lied about having hard evidence of "Russian collusion." Hillary Clinton sustained the lie for years to cover up her disastrous failed campaign. The FBI went along with all of this. So why didn't the Durham probe deliver any charges, and in the wake of that disappointment, what should Republicans do to create accountability? Charlie talks about that with Devin Nunes, who did so much to debunk the Russia hoax five years ago, and then talks to Julie Kelly about scandalous new revelations further undermining the January 6 inquisition.Support the show: http://www.charliekirk.com/supportSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Brought to you by the Loan Experts I Trust, Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage at andrewandTodd.com.
Joining us now is Devin Nunez, who is the head of Truth Social.
And Devin deserves a lot of credit.
He's a great American patriot.
And Devin, I'll be honest, last hour I was talking about how bitter I am over this entire report.
Now, Devin, prove me wrong or tell me where I am incorrect.
The Durham report felt like the Nunez report five years later with a couple more citations.
I didn't really learn very much.
You really did the tough work, and you were the former chair of House Intel.
Let's go to Cut 43.
Adam Schiff insisting multiple times that he had direct evidence of Trump-Russian collusion, play Cut 43.
But you admit it's a circumstance.
Actually, no, Chuck.
I can tell you that the case is more than that.
And I can't go into the particulars, but there is more than circumstantial evidence now.
So again, I think you have seen direct evidence of collusion.
I don't want to go into specifics, but I will say that there is evidence that is not circumstantial and is very much worthy of investigation.
So that is what we ought to do.
He's a liar, and he very well might be a senator from California.
Well, so let me read some emails that we've received here, freedom at charliekirk.com.
You know, some people say, Charlie, let me go this one.
Charlie, I'm disgusted with our justice system.
How can anybody have good things to say about it?
And the left gets to do whatever they want, no consequences for their actions.
The next election is to be fixed, just like the last one.
No one will believe in fair elections anymore.
What I see in this country is becoming every communist country.
Now, let me say, I don't know if this is intentional or deliberate, but the angrier we get, justified by the way, righteous indignation, they think they can provoke us to uncharacteristic violent action.
Do not take the bait.
Look at how much we've been derailed because of the misrepresentation of what happened on January 6th.
A lot of people are emailing us, Charlie, I have no faith in all this, and I get it.
They want you to become cynical.
Remember Yuri Bezmanov.
Yuri Bezmanov, the Soviet spy who professionally tried to take down Western governments for communism.
What did he say was the critical phase?
What is the critical phase that a functioning country has to go through?
Demoralization.
I'll be honest, I'm there today.
I'm not going to stay there because, you know, we're a positive show.
We're going to talk about solutions.
But at times, you have to go through the process of being honest and saying, boy, this is some pretty bad news.
When you have, I just want to make sure you understand.
This is not just Peter Struckstroke Smirk going and committing arson.
It's not just Tim going and stealing a car.
It's not just an individual thing of action.
This is using a trusted place of authority of our domestic police force.
Not just Tim, by the way, it's James Comey, Andy McCabe, the whole cabal, the whole cartel, because they didn't like Donald Trump.
And what's the check and balance?
Are any of them going to go to jail?
I mean, are they going to be held accountable?
Of course not.
No, the answer is they get promoted.
And Hillary Clinton is very involved in this, by the way.
Hillary Clinton should be rotting in jail right now, but she's not.
Thankfully, Hillary Clinton's not president, and make no mistake, that's why they got to go after Trump.
Do not underestimate the resentment people have for Donald Trump defeating the old hag Hillary Clinton.
Play cut 39, Hillary Clinton lying.
She's a liar.
She's one of the most evil people in American public life.
Play cut 39.
I believe he knows he's an illegitimate president.
He knows.
He knows that there were a bunch of different reasons why the election turned out the way it did.
And I take responsibility for those parts of it that I should.
But Jane, it was like applying for a job and getting 66 million letters of recommendation and losing to a corrupt human tornado.
And so I know that he knows that this wasn't on the level.
I don't know that we'll ever know everything that happened, but clearly we know a lot and are learning more every day.
And history will probably sort it all out.
So of course he's obsessed with me.
And I believe that it's a guilty conscience.
And then here's CBS.
I mean, CBS, look, they finally admit the truth, but these are all just small moral victories.
Justice, according to Aristotle, is the messiest of all the virtues, but it's necessary.
You cannot have a society without justice.
How do you describe justice in the classical sense?
To every man, to what they are due, to what they are owed, to what they have earned.
There's no justice here.
This is a mass injustice.
And they feel as if they get away with it.
Play cut 29, CBS finally admitting the truth.
Play cut 29.
After nearly four years of investigation, special counsel John Durham found the FBI lacked actual evidence to investigate then-candidate Donald Trump's campaign in 2016.
Durham said the Bureau was too reliant on investigative leads provided or funded by Trump's political opponents.
The FBI expanded its original probe known as Crossfire Hurricane based partly on information from Christopher Steele.
Steele, a former British spy, put together a research dossier alleging possible misconduct between then-candidate Trump and Russia.
Durham found investigators did not and could not corroborate any of the substantive allegations contained in the Steele reporting.
Devin, you deserve great credit.
Am I incorrect in saying that we learned very little from the Durham book report and most of the work was the work that you and Cash did five years ago, repurposed with a couple citations.
Devin, your thoughts?
Well, look, I think that's exactly right.
You know, back in, we knew this in 2017.
I always like to say that when Mueller walked through the door with his pit bull, Andrew Weissman, they knew there was no evidence of Russian collusion because they had none.
They would have provided it to us already who were conducting an investigation, Charlie.
And why do I say I know that?
Well, they would have had every single bit of reason to give us everything they had in early 2017, right when Trump is becoming president, right after he fires Comey.
Why not give us all the evidence?
And so, you know, we had been watching this for a long time and we knew there was no evidence of Russian collusion, you know, even just in my experience dealing with Russia, you know, for many, many years before that.
Fast forward, it took us only about six, eight months to put together what was called then the newness memo that we actually launched around the 1st of February 2018.
And that clearly laid out everything.
I think the only thing that we learned through his investigation is that it really dialed it in on just the people at the top, the only new names, and maybe I'm forgetting a couple, but it was really the Alpha Bake scam that went on from Georgia Tech, Jaffe, a guy named Jaffe, Dan Chenko, who was their phony Russian that was just a former Brookings Institution guy, and then the Clinton campaign operative, Dolan.
Now, the worst part with all this is I think no one can understand why he wasn't able to bring a conspiracy charge.
I think that's the frustrating part because against these DOJ and FBI rogue officials.
So, Devon, these people get away with it.
We could talk about the ramifications and the implications of it.
I mean, this is a total crime against the country.
If you want to talk about insurrection or seditious conspiracy, this is seditious conspiracy much more than a bunch of, you know, wannabe Rambos with backpacks going into the Capitol on January 6th.
Give me a break.
This is seditious conspiracy.
When the guys with the badges commit the crimes, they need to go to jail.
But that hasn't happened in quite some time.
So, Devin, what can the House Republicans do?
We've talked about this idea of fencing off the money.
I mean, the debt ceiling fight.
I mean, what is it?
We have the House of Representatives.
Are we going to see any spending cuts?
Can we take Christopher Ray's Gulf Stream away from him so he can't go to the Adirondacks at will in the midst of a Senate?
I mean, I'm not kidding in the sense of what can we do to make these cockroaches feel the pain?
What can we legislatively do?
You know, what I would start with is exposing the cockroaches.
You're right that the House has the power of the purse working with the Senate, but the Democrats are never going to go for that.
You know, and plus, you know, there's just a lot more exposure that has to be done because you still have half of America that probably still believes that Trump and Republicans have something to do with Russia, believe it or not.
You know, maybe this week you aired that report from Catherine Herrge at CBS News.
It'll be interesting to see here over the course of the next week or so how, you know, have, you know, have we got it down to like 40%?
Because, you know, it was running at 50% of Americans believe that Trump and Republicans had something to do with Russia, Charlie.
Now, that's why I say I'll use your term, the cockroaches.
You know, I know that Jim Jordan, the Republicans have this weaponization of government committee.
I don't know if there needs to be a special committee or subset of that, but all of these people need to be brought before Congress and publicly exposed.
But first, what I would do is I would first go after subpoena everything that they have, all of their bank records, everybody they've been paid for the last few years, and do depositions with all of them.
Everybody that Durham names, the Congress should bring them in for private depositions and then basically catch them lying to Congress.
Because for some odd reason, Durham didn't bring what seemed to be very easy charges, which would have been lying to Congress.
I mean, we know Brennan lied to Congress.
I mean, there's several others that lied to Congress.
And so I think that's what you do is you hold a whole set of hearings again, expose this publicly.
Remember, we didn't do too bad back in 17 and 18 when we had the majority when I was chairman.
It became much more difficult when you had a scumbag like Adam Schiff in there as the chair.
He was able to bury everything.
And of course, they, you know, remember they tried to make the Moeller report come to life and all of that nonsense.
So I think that's where my recommendation would be to start there, which would be to bring all these people in, throw out the subpoenas.
You know, you got to get a good group.
It doesn't need to be a very large committee and even could be people from the outside, but a very strong committee with good investigators that are going to dive down into everything that Durham has.
And you never know.
You know, Durham and some of his investigators might be very supportive of this process.
So, Devin, is there anything to the fencing off the funding?
Is that just some sort of abstract wish item?
I mean, you know it better than I do.
You were a total winner in the House.
Yeah, Charlie, I mean, look, it's a tool, but in order to get that done, you still need a Senate approval and you need a signature by Biden.
So you can fence off money.
You can make a bunch of noise about it, but actually cutting off the money so Ray doesn't get his jet, I think it's going to be difficult to do.
But that's why, look, I would put, I know it's, I know people don't like to hear this, but really sunlight is the best disinfectant.
It's the number one thing they can do right now.
And look, we're a year and a half away to the presidential election.
If they could shine a lot of light on this for the next six to eight months, I think it would really help President Trump and the Republicans right this wrong to show all these people who have led America through this nightmare.
They need to be exposed.
And all the Republicans need to get on the same page.
I mean, I'm actually, look, I get it.
You know, there's other people that want to run for president.
That's fine.
It's their right to do.
But I'm a little bit shocked at some of the candidates that are out there running and even some of my former colleagues, especially in the Senate, who are not today coming out and say, look, we may not like Trump, but this is wrong.
This was an attack on our democracy.
This was an attack on the Republican Party.
We're out of time, but I'm curious, though.
Just curious.
Has Ron DeSantis issued a statement?
Because DeSantis was very, very good on Mueller.
Remember, that was one of his things.
I'm curious.
I don't know either way.
Let's look to see if Ron DeSantis has issued a statement about this.
I'm curious.
If not, it's a missed opportunity.
Devin, we're out of time.
Everyone, check out True Social.
You're doing a great job.
Thank you so much.
Thanks, Charlie.

Joining us now is Julie Kelly.
She has a very important article out.
There's a couple of topics I want to talk about.
But first, it is from Am Greatness.
Taylor Green submits impeachment articles against D.C. U.S. attorney.
Julie, welcome back to the program.
Tell us about this story.
So the House Oversight Committee just wrapped up its hearing about crime problems in Washington, D.C. One of the witnesses was Matthew Graves, the D.C. U.S. attorney, who is handling all of the January 6th criminal prosecutions, a caseload that is now over 1,000 defendants, and he has promised to charge 1,000 more before he's all done.
At the same time, Charlie, as you know, Washington, D.C. has descended into violent chaos.
And there are reports, crime data that indicates Matthew Graves, while he fixates on a four-hour disturbance more than 28 months ago, has declined to prosecute almost two-thirds of the cases that are brought to him by local D.C. police.
And this includes violent repeat offenders.
who Matthew Graves refuses to prosecute for one reason or the other, as he all of his resources basically are monopolized by prosecuting, investigating, charging, and trying January 6th protesters.
So what is the process then of impeachment?
I mean, when we think of impeachment, we usually think of a president, not of a D.C. U.S. attorney.
What does the process of that look like?
So Marjorie Taylor Green introduced these articles of impeachment.
I believe they're the first articles of impeachment against any Biden official, which Matthew Graves is.
He was appointed by Joe Biden and confirmed by the Senate in November of 2021.
So this is part of their oversight capabilities.
And so I believe now that those articles have been submitted, it will now be referred to the House Judiciary Committee, where we will see what Chairman Jim Jordan has to do.
We'll proceed with those.
But look, the double standard of justice in the Justice Department right now runs directly through Matthew Graves' office.
What he's doing right now is a selective political prosecution to criminalize political dissent to punish Americans who protested Joe Biden's election on January 6th.
He is bringing outrageous charges recommending excessive prison sentences.
Representative Andy Biggs today confronted him about wanting 14 years in prison for a man named Thomas Caldwell, a man with no criminal record who is a decorated and disabled Navy veteran.
He's almost 70 years old.
He was found guilty of one obstruction count and one tampering with evidence.
And Matthew Graves wants Thomas Caldwell to die in jail.
Well, at the same time, Matthew Graves, who handles both local and federal crimes in D.C., this is a very unique position, is letting criminals off the hook run rampant in his own city.
So this is the sort of hypocrisy disparity that Americans are fed up with when it comes to our criminal justice system, and especially this Department of Justice being so highly weaponized.
As of course, we just was confirmed again in the Durham report that was released yesterday.
So, you know, it's important for our audience to know this.
One of the ways that influence is exerted is through spouses.
And, you know, this is an attack baseless, by the way, that they tried to go towards Clarence Thomas on.
But meanwhile, Matthew Graves' wife runs this racket.
I mean, I'm looking to this website, Julie, and I mean, it's a $100 million organization that almost no one's ever heard of.
I mean, it's the National Woman's Law Center.
I mean, we were just marveling in the break of just how much money that some of these groups have.
We've never heard of them before, right?
By the way, we have one of the clips up on the screen of their Twitter account.
Abortion Always is one of their things.
Then they have another, this is, again, Matthew Graves' wife runs this racket.
Just Let Kids Play is another one of their initiatives, which is all about having trans kids play.
It's just, it's amazing.
Julie, tell us about this connection.
Is there a conflict of interest?
Why is this important to know?
I think there definitely is a conflict of interest.
Look, she's the CEO and president of this very well-funded nonprofit.
This group is working hand in glove with people like Senator Whitehouse and other activist groups who are demanding the resignation of Clarence Thomas.
This group is behind the smear campaign against Clarence Thomas and his wife.
So, how can you have the chief prosecutor who we're supposed to believe, right, justice is blind and he's treating people, suspects and defendants all the same when we know that he's not, have his wife, who is such an outspoken activist trying to remove a sitting U.S. Supreme Court justice, working with Democrats in Congress to do that and create this smear campaign against him.
She also has choice words and has about Donald Trump and his supporters.
She referred to white women, suggested that white women who voted for Donald Trump in 2020, people like me, are racists and are only supporting a systemically white racist system in America.
This is the sort of thing that she has said and her activism role.
So it's very hard then for people, and they shouldn't believe that there's no conflict there.
If we're going to start talking about spouses like they want to about Clarence Thomas and attack Ginny Thomas, then everyone's spouse should be fair game.
And unfortunately, Charlie, in the committee today, no Republican brought this up to Matthew Graves, asked about his objectivity when his wife is such an outspoken, well-funded activist trying to take down a sitting U.S. Supreme Court justice.
So he's a U.S. attorney, and I asked you this in the break.
Is he responsible for investigating the Dobbs leak or is that something else?
I mean, DOJ was supposed to be doing something with that, correct?
I believe so.
I don't know who actually investigates the leak, but any criminal referral would go to Matthew Graves because he prosecutes federal crimes in Washington, D.C.
So any sort of leak, I would assume, would be a federal crime.
And so it naturally would go to his office.
So, and look, this should also be the office who would be investigating anything that Hunter Biden did when he was in Washington, D.C., say any FARA foreign lobbying, foreign lobbying violations.
This is also something that Matthew Graves would be investigating.
So he took a lot of heat today for his high declination rate, meaning number of times the percentage that he declines these cases that are referred to him by local police of 67%.
But there was very little heat put on Matthew Graves for his selective and political prosecution of January 6th or so.
I applaud Marjorie Taylor Greene for bringing these articles of impeachment because it should open up a further conversation about how Matthew Graves is handling the most powerful and politically charged U.S. Attorney's Office in the country.
Let's play cut 45, Marjorie Taylor Greene on this topic, play cut 45.
The time for weaponizing the Department of Justice needs to come to an end.
And because you refuse to prosecute real criminals that are violating all the crimes here in Washington, D.C., and you want to talk about D.C. residents, they are victims of your abuse of power.
And because of that, I am introducing articles of impeachment on you, Mr. Graves, and I yield back the remainder of my time.
So is Matthew Graves, was Matthew Graves in charge of potentially indicting people that were illegally protesting outside of Supreme Court justice's homes?
That would have been in the D.C. jurisdiction, right?
The reason I ask is his wife was probably the ones that were actually organizing those protests.
I mean, think about it.
His wife might have been organizing the protests.
You look at her, you look at her website.
It's unbelievable.
I mean, it's, I've never seen this.
This one thing.
Here's what it says.
It says abortion is totally safe is one of their things.
It's just amazing.
So was Matthew Graves responsible for that?
Only if the justice lives in Washington, D.C.
I don't know if there's any Supreme Court justice.
Certainly we know that Brett Kavanaugh does not, John Roberts.
I believe that they live in Maryland, maybe Virginia.
So he would not have jurisdiction.
That would be the local, well, I believe U.S. Marshals who are given sort of a stand down order by Attorney General Merrick Garland to not prosecute those, that crime, which is a far worse crime than most of the January 6ers are getting parading the Capitol.
I don't think anyone outside of the man who was arrested for attempting or planning to assassinate Brett Kavanaugh, I don't think any of these protesters who clearly are trying to influence Supreme Court policy, whether it's votes or whether it is bullying John Roberts into conducting an investigation into Clarence Thomas, this clearly is an influence campaign.
And if these protesters outside, and we know that that's what they're doing, we can see the signage, one corrupt judge, investigate Clarence Thomas, resign, Clarence Thomas, remove him from the court, et cetera.
That is to influence what the court is doing.
That is against the law, and that is what no one has been prosecuted for.
Matthew Graves certainly wouldn't be responsible for that.
But we know that his wife, the team of Goss Graves, is very deeply involved in encouraging these protests and overall demands for Clarence Thomas to resign.
Republicans Afraid of the FBI 00:06:44
I don't know about you, but it takes a lot to shock me these days.

Julie, how should we think about Durham?
I am bitter.
I'm cynical.
I'm upset.
I've lost complete hope in the Washington, D.C. regime.
My attitude is, hey, everybody, get your own life in order.
Stop thinking that somebody's going to come in and parachute in and justice will be delivered.
It is dead in the country.
Julie, am I being overly cynical, overly negative with that attitude?
No, I think that's how a lot of us felt yesterday.
You know, it's one thing to see the Durham Report and confirm what we've known and what we've reported on.
But the frustration is knowing that they all got away with it.
They will continue to get away with it.
And the January 6th issue is just an extension.
It was accelerated after DOJ and FBI and these agencies got away with it.
But I will tell you, watching this House Oversight Committee with a few exceptions, Andy Biggs and Marjorie Taylor Greene refusing to go directly at the January 6th prosecutor, the face of a continued reckless, unaccountable political Department of Justice.
Their failure to go directly at Graves and not one person threatened to cut off funds to his office.
Where's the power of the purse?
I mean, we don't need more subpoenas.
We don't want John Durham.
Cut off the funding.
Shut down the Washington Field office.
Shut down the...
I agree.
I mean, how many more subpoenas?
With all due respect to another guest that came on the program, I think we got a good picture of what's going on here.
I mean, we don't need more evidence that we live in an open-air police state run by a crime syndicate called the FBI.
I mean, how many more citations?
If you have 300 citations or 600 citations, at some point it becomes rather repetitive.
But Julie, entertain me in this way.
I think Republicans are afraid of the FBI.
I think they're afraid that they might one day get indicted, that they might get a knock on the door, that they might be spied on, that maybe their little foreign thing that they've done might be exposed.
I think Republicans live in fear that they don't want to poke the bear that might have killed Kennedy.
What do you think?
They're definitely afraid of the FBI.
They're afraid of the Department of Justice.
They're afraid of Matthew Graves, which we saw today, because ultimately he can turn around and find some charge, or the FBI can refer something to him and he can go ahead and prosecute them.
So they are afraid.
I understand that to a degree, but what's the point of being there then?
Don't be there if you're not going to take on this corrupt rot that is destroying the country that is just aimed at half of the American people.
This is Marxism.
This is a banana republic.
And if you don't have the guts to stand up to these people, I'm sorry, Jim Jordan didn't even show up at the House Oversight Committee today.
Neither did Scott Perry.
There were a couple representatives who didn't even show up to ask Matthew Graves a single question.
That's inexcusable.
I know there were other hearings going on.
What could be more important than confronting the man who is leading the criminal prosecution against your own people?
Inexcusable.
Yeah, look, I like Jim, so I'll let him defend himself.
But I think there is a widespread fear amongst rank and file Republicans that they do not want to poke the bear of the administrative state.
And look, they go to D.C. for corporate tax policy, Julie, or for some sort of title.
They don't want to go after the Leviathan.
And the Leviathan is only more empowered and emboldened.
And so we have this weaponization of government committee, right?
And I mean, I'm not naturally a patient person, I'll be honest, but I'm being patient to see what the heck is going to come out of this.
But if I get another report, I'm going to lose it, Julie.
I've got enough reports, okay?
I got a report how Hillary Clinton illegally smashed devices.
I got a report about how people lied under oath.
I got a report on Brennan.
I got nothing but reports.
I want evil people in jail, not because I like to see people suffer because I love justice, because it's necessary for a free society.
One minute remaining, Julie.
Where are the criminal referrals?
We know they're going to end up in the circular file at Merrick Garland's office, but they can still make criminal referrals.
I mean, they did that basically to Eric Holder under the Obama administration.
Force Merrick Garland or Lisa Monaco to ignore criminal referrals who are made to any of these people, starting with the Durham seditious conspiracy perpetrators.
But you've got people who are going to spend 20, 25 years in jail being convicted for seditious conspiracy, a totally bogus charge brought by Matthew Graves, convicted by a DC jury, which is so easy to do.
But have we had any criminal referrals come out of these committees?
Not that I know of.
What Marjorie Taylor Green did say, I think, was the most forceful thing that's come out of anything out of the House of TOP in the past four months.
Gotta run.
Julie, thank you so much.
Deeply appreciate it.
It is very clear that the Republicans are afraid of the FBI.
You can't blame them.
The FBI controls all the cards.
We are living in the shadow of an unelected administrative state.
