Alex Jones made a tactical error by explicitly confirming the Wayfair incident was real after previously casting doubt on it.

The second thing about these two days that I think is actually really shocking is the Wayfair thing. Alex was in the clear entirely on the 11th when he got in studio and did his Hey, this is a trap, but maybe it's something. You leave the door open enough that in case, if you have to, you can say, I didn't say it wasn't something. Worst case scenario. Exactly, but you still have the, like, hey, if the media wants to try and say that I was on this bullshit, I said the day of that it was a honey trap. You got it. But then, on Sunday, for no reason, unforced error, just coming out of being like, yeah, this is absolutely what this is. It's real. So bizarre. So bizarre. It's so nice. It's kind of refreshing. I'm used to seeing the Democrats snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. And to watch Alex really step in shit here. But who knows how it's going to turn out. It might end up not being all that bad for him, but tactically it seems like a really stupid decision. Oh, it's a terrible idea.
