Verichip operates a Chipmobile that visits senior citizen centers to offer microchips to Alzheimer's patients.
So this company, Verichip, did operate what they called a chipmobile, but it wasn't like an ice cream truck. It went to senior citizen centers and offered the chips to Alzheimer's patients. There were a bunch of articles in, like, 2002 about the Chipmobile providing chips for eight people and how that technology could be really helpful in situations where disoriented patients arrive at a hospital and may not be able to provide staff with important details, like who they are or what they might be allergic to.
