Alex Jones has a vested interest in keeping his audience scared to sell merchandise rather than encouraging them to take radical action.
Like an exploitative, vampiric nature to Alex is just like keeping people scared and then selling them dumb pills they don't need. Like, I hate it. It's an awful thing, but it's kind of... Alex has a vested interest in them not going too far.
