Bell's palsy and Guillain-Barré syndrome are distinct medical conditions, not the same disease with different names.

So according to Johns Hopkins, quote, Bell's palsy is an unexplained episode of facial muscle weakness or paralysis. Conversely, Guillain Beret is a full-body autoimmune condition where the body's immune system attacks its nerves. Sometimes Bell's palsy can accompany Guillain Beret, but only an idiot would try to say that they're the same condition with different names, which is why Alex just said that, because he's a fucking idiot.
