John McAfee's tweets stating he would not commit suicide are not compelling evidence of murder.
I accept this as something that makes sense on its face, but I also don't think it proves anything. John McAfee was one of the most unhinged, unstable people in the public eye, and it isn't necessarily wise to take most of the things he says without a giant grain of salt. I can believe that in October, he may have felt that he would never commit suicide. But that was also eight months ago. And a lot can change to a person's mental state over the course of eight months, particularly if they're in a foreign prison and maybe without the drugs that they generally do.
