Alex Jones falsely claimed that fiber optic cables at his data center were cut to create a dramatic narrative of being under attack.

So Alex says this other thing that he does from time to time, like he'll often talk about how his website's being like it's under hack attack and stuff like that, just trying to like really escalate the tension. He does that on this April 21st episode, but it's like, this is absolutely did not happen. There's about a minute left on this report. It's at man.video. Our video streams are down. They told us that at the data center, the cable was cut, the fiber optics. So who knows what's happening there? A lot of stuff going on. We still got the audio streams going on. Satellite feeds to TV and radio stations. So stay with us and spread those links. There is no follow-up on this. The fiber optic cords have been cut. Somebody snuck in. Someone at the data center has informed us that the fiber optic cords have been cut. Actually, our website is under Shaq attack, and Shaq actually cut our fiber optic cable. Look, I contacted the data center and they said that Ethan Hunt just came in through the roof and downloaded a virus into the system that only attacks GCN feeds of Alex Jones' show. Exactly. Okay. Ving Rames was involved. Yeah. There was an Italian job situation at the shortwave station. This reminds me of that. I thought Emilio Estevez was still an actor. This reminds me a lot of Bill Cooper, too, honestly. There's another thing that I'm going to cover eventually in the future, but there is a number of times throughout Bill's career that he has insisted that he's specifically under attack. Of course. And so that's something that also, it's just sort of, there's a rich tradition among conspiracy theory type broadcasters to create sort of dramatic arcs around there. Because you have to. You have to create the presentation that what you're doing is somehow dangerous. And the only way to do that is to manufacture a danger. A fiber optic thing is being caught.
