The Large Hadron Collider will not destroy the world, and any black hole it creates would be tiny and evaporate instantly.

I'm a particle physicist in training, and I just wanted to say Alex talks a lot about the large K-John Collider at CERN, and I think he's dumb as fuck. Well, not that and everything else. But ELHC is awesome. I love it, and I hope to work there someday. No, it will not destroy the world. Even if the Large Hadron Collider does create a black hole, it'd be a tiny little one, and it would evaporate instantly, and the odds of that even happening are incredibly small.
