People aren't as dumb as you think they are.

It's also like some people just don't have good brains. That's just a fact. You know, it's like some people were born with big ears. Some people have small ears. Some people have shitty brains.

If you read the news every day, you realize that there is a lot of room for improvement. As much as we are proud of our intelligence, we're screwing up the world. And my point is, I can imagine a lot of much more accomplished students in our class of intelligent civilizations. Of course. And therefore, we should have respect for the search for them because we can learn from them. They would serve better role models for us.
