From what I'm getting out of this book, he was basically the start of all this. He pushed government beyond unbelievable what he did. I mean, he ran his platform trying to get elected on... Hoover was spending way too much money. The first thing he does, he gets in the office and he starts, you know, what, 50 different organizations for this and organizations for that, basically just taking control, the federal government just took control of our whole nation ever since.
