The collapse of Building 7 was caused by fires ignited by debris from the North Tower.

Building 7, part of the World Trade Center complex, collapsed on September 11th, 2001. According to the official investigation by the National Institute of Standards and Technology, NIST, the collapse was caused by fires that burned for several hours, which were ignited by debris from the collapse of the nearby North Tower. NIST concluded that the fires caused the building steel structure to weaken and eventually fail, leading to a progressive collapse.
