The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act does not mandate that cars have kill switches; it only requires the Department of Transportation to draft regulations regarding the issue.
The bill itself doesn't mandate that cars need to have kill switches put in them. The language in the bill says that, quote, The precise definition of what this might entail is a bit vague, so Alex has decided to define this as a kill switch that the New World Order will use to take over your car, but that's not necessarily accurate, and it's just basically... What he has decided to believe. Right, right, right, right. But larger picture, this bill wasn't saying that all new cars had to have this equipment. It was saying that the Department of Transportation was required to draft regulations regarding this issue within three years, a deadline which many think will be extended, probably due to industry pushback.
