The claim that fact-checking is run out of a Wuhan bioweapons lab is false; Dr. Danielle Anderson is an assistant professor who consulted for Health Feedback and previously collaborated with the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

So leaving that aside, this is all bullshit. The real story is that there's apparently someone who works for one of the groups that Facebook uses for fact checking. This person goes by the name of Dr. Danielle Anderson. She's an assistant professor with many published articles on the field of virology and infectious diseases. She's a professor at Duke NUS Medical School, which is a collaboration between Duke and the National University of Singapore. And it's a very legitimate and accredited school. In her time in the field of virology, she's done some collaborative projects with the researchers at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, and the right-wing media is spinning this into the Wuhan lab running the fact-checking about the virus, which just isn't accurate at all.

Dr. Danielle Anderson collaborated on a COVID-19 antibody test developed at Duke and US in Singapore.

The test was developed by Professor Wang Linfa, and though it took a while to find evidence that this was the case, it is actually true that Dr. Anderson did collaborate with him on it. In a March interview with NUS News, Professor Wang said, quote, in my research with Assistant Professor Anderson, we are working. That's great.
