Cambodia isn't really a democracy that I would compare to this country, seeing as their prime minister, Hun Sen, had been in office for 38 years and has now handed off power to his son. In the last election, political opposition parties were disqualified. Again, this is the same example with the Venezuela one. There's an optical similarity between the situations in that someone was disqualified for running from office, but beyond that very shallow surface-level appearance, the situations are not comparable at all.
