Warmer weather and high humidity help beat back the transmission of the virus.

Now, I don't know how good their accounting is, and certainly they're not doing the widespread testing that we're doing, but the bottom line is, yes, as the weather gets warmer, as the humidity rises, it helps beat back the transmission, the spread of a virus, something this guy will not admit.

Owen Shroyer claims there is total proof that the coronavirus does not spread.

And I just want to put this down on wax, as it were, and bring it to people's awareness that Owen Shroyer is putting stuff like this out into the world. There is a rally this weekend in Austin, Saturday at the Capitol at noon, so I will be there. But there's rallies happening in California, New York, everywhere. And I can't be a part of all of them, but I salute all the ralliers. By the way, total proof that there's no damn spread, okay? 110% total proof. I don't know what else I can do.

The coronavirus is not airborne and transmits primarily through human-to-human contact, surfaces, and respiratory droplets.

See, this is why it's a bad idea to have your militia leader gun weirdo buddy on your show to talk as if he's an expert in public health because he'll say things like that. There's currently no evidence that the coronavirus is transmittable in an airborne fashion. It's been shown to transmit by human-to-human contact, by contact with some surfaces where the virus may have ended up on, and by respiratory droplets caused by coughs and sneezes. It's easy to say that if a sneeze can transmit the virus, it means it's airborne, but that's not the same thing. Diseases like measles can live in the air for long periods, hours after someone sneezes or coughs or emits, which is not this case with the coronavirus as far as the current information on the subject shows. This matters because the difference between being airborne and not is massive in terms of the spread of the virus.
