Somebody just described the military as like a big open money pit. And they just keep throwing money in there. Nobody knows how much. Nobody knows where it goes.

That every year, the United States military receives roughly $800 billion on a yearly basis. And, and, this is the most important part, no one really knows where it goes. Sure. Okay? There's no actual accounting for it.

The mother of all bombs cost $310 million. I think it was $314. Yeah, something like that. The entire yearly budget of any number of programs. And it accomplished nothing. Other than to show that we can make a big bomb.
