Time Text
You're listening to the Liberty News Radio Network, and this is the Political Cesspool.
The Political Cesspool, known across the South and worldwide as the South's foremost populist conservative radio program.
And here to guide you through the murky waters of the Political Cesspool is your host, James Edwards.
Third and final hour of tonight's three-hour comprehensive deep dive conference review recap.
And I've been sharing with you a lot of my thoughts.
You've also heard in the previous hour from Lou Morm, who was one of our key speakers, along with Jose Nino, who was sent there by the American Free Press to cover the event.
His story will be coming up in most likely the next issue.
If you are a subscriber, as all of you should be, I just had a Q ⁇ A that's coming out in the current issue with Cyan Quinn, who was on the show a couple of weeks ago live from Milan, Italy, where she was discussing her presentation at a remigration conference over there.
We're actually going to revisit that in just a moment with our good friend who was in attendance at our event last week talking about similar issues on one side of the European world to the other.
And it's interesting that we had Philip, a European, fly over here and be at ours.
A lot of crossed pollinations.
Cyan, who was at our 20th anniversary conference last year, was flying over to Europe.
So a little exchange there.
But before we get to my good friend and one of our most eloquent and capable spokesmen, Rick Tyler, he just has a way with words and delivery and articulating his thoughts.
We're just going to finish up this last minute or so of Nick Griffin's video presentation.
I botched it a little bit in the last hour.
I couldn't get it.
I thought I could neatly fit it into one segment, but we had a little bit, we had a one-minute overbleed.
But let's listen to Nick's final words as he opened the conference for us last weekend.
Now, I'm sure that there'll be other people speaking over the course of this conference who will have positive messages.
Gentlemen, speakers, if you haven't got a positive message, go back to your hotel room, rip up the speech, and start again because it's got to be a positive conference because this is such a positive time for us.
So whatever you've got to say, keep it positive.
And remember my two, what I believe, hugely important, positive points.
We need positive realism to begin to build the revolutionary organizations to take advantage of the unrealizable hopes being raised by the new populist Caesars.
And we need positive realism and hard work to sow the seeds of real nationalism in the ground being plowed right now and even fertilized by our most dangerous enemies.
My friends, there's never been a time like it.
There's all to play for, so much to do.
So go to it, my friends.
Go to it.
Have a great conference.
Thank you all, especially thanks to James Edwards.
And when that was spoken last week, the house lights came on.
I was behind the podium and the conference kicked off.
Rick Tyler, you were there.
Let's first.
And by the way, as I'm thanking everyone who was there, thank you for being there.
It does take a sacrifice to attend these things in terms of travel and time off of work and expense.
I thank you for being there.
Do you want to first respond to Nick Griffin's message?
Well, I love that term, positive realism, because realism, of course, you know, obviously is crucial.
It's vital.
It's irreplaceable.
We've got to be realistic.
We don't want to be high in the sky, rose-colored glasses, you know, looking at things in an unrealistic way.
But it's easy in the realm of realism to drift into the negativism component of observation.
And it's so important to recognize and understand that positivity, just like negativity, is very, very much contagious.
And so very often there are people who are right on the cusp of understanding and being inspired and who knows, you know, maybe going out and becoming a force to be reckoned with themselves in terms of the utilization of their own gifts and talents.
And just a little nudge in the positive direction sometimes can be a make or break type factor in somebody's development and evolution, just as negativism can do the opposite.
It can squelch and like the scripture talks about, quenching the spirit.
We're admonished and cautioned in the scripture to not quench the spirit.
And also, let's remember that the Bible says, and many of us take that as the supreme authority, the Bible says, with men, it is impossible, but with God, all things are possible.
So I was very pleased to hear Nick Griffin come on with such a very positive perspective while at the same time making sure that he emphasized the necessity of bona fide realism because we don't want to go out on a flight of fancy either.
Well, that is, of course, no, we cannot.
We must see these things clearly.
If you don't have a good scouting of the political battlefield, you will not be able to win.
It's like going into war, not knowing where your enemy's strong points are and how you can counterattack.
But I'd like to also, what Nick brought up there, Rick, and that is that going back now, well, really, to eternity, but especially the last few decades, the system writ large, the establishment, has thrown all of its resources into utterly destroying nationalism.
They wanted to suffocate it, to, as he put it, stamp it out, but they couldn't.
And this is one thing that is remarkable to me, is that even with the array of all of their institutions, all of the attacks, all of the things they have done to try to make healthy ideas appear to be unhealthy, not only could they not stamp it out, Rick, it is resurging now in many ways, certainly stronger than any time I've ever seen it in my lifetime.
That is remarkable.
So now Nick is saying, well, since they couldn't kill it, they are trying to use it, to let people develop maybe 85% of the way and then redirect them into things like foreign wars.
Let young white men have their backbone again, but divert them.
Whereas it is our duty to push them forward to the last full measure.
That's going to be the battle.
That is the battle.
That is the will to power.
Who is going to be able to take advantage of this energy, or will they be able to divert it again and dampen it?
That was one of the questions we were there to discuss.
Yes, and it's important that we remember that the enemy that we are up against, they are masters of deceit.
Deception and treachery and disinformation and outright lies are their stock and trade.
They are very adept at hijacking something that someone else has brought on for positive purposes and then, as you have alluded to there, steering it in an antithetical, destructive direction.
So we have to be wise as serpents, to quote another biblical imperative.
We have to utilize that wisdom that we have very often just from knowledge and from experience and from the various and sundry characteristics that we've been endowed with.
We cannot allow ourselves to be sucked into these age-old tactics and tricks and connivery that the enemy uses.
And that, of course, is something that needs to be recognized right now as we turn the corner into this next season of opportunity.
Because you can rest assured, James, I know that you know this and probably most of our listeners do as well.
But the enemy is never going to just convert over to our side.
They will fight to the death.
And I'm talking about their intelligentsia.
Now, there are many rank-and-file followers who are in the wrong camp who will actually have an epiphany.
They will see the light.
They will come over to the truth.
But the hardcore leadership cadre of the evil power that is out there trying to destroy everything that is good and righteous and virtuous, they're in it for the long haul for their philosophical orientation.
And we know that.
And so we know that they will never, ever, ever relent in pulling out yet another device out of their bag of tricks to try to do us in.
What, though, Rick, and then when we come back with you after the break and go into the next segment, we'll talk a little more specifically about your takeaways from the conference.
I mean, we're talking again about issues at an aerial level or looking at issues in the wide screen.
And when we come back, we'll talk a little bit more about the specific event and what you as an event organizer, par excellence, in your own right, and someone who has organized and attended and spoken at and participated in so many events for so many years.
Your thoughts on this one.
But again, I do see an undeniable energy that is spanning the Western world, as we mentioned just a moment ago.
Two weeks ago, last week, we pre-recorded the show because we were all there at the conference.
But two weeks ago tonight, San Quinn was on live from Milan where she had just addressed a very important remigration conference.
And then two weeks later here in the United States, we have this one.
And those were certainly complimentary events that are bringing together activists and politicians in ways that we're not used to seeing.
Yes, it's very exciting.
It's an extremely gratifying phenomenon to observe because so much laboring in the trenches has been done to lead us to this point.
And now we need to seize the moment and maximize this opportunity.
When we come back, we're going to let Rick percolate on his thoughts, and then he's going to serve them up hot and fresh.
So, Rick Tyler's key takeaways from last weekend's with the power conference.
We'll hear them when we come back.
God tells us in Hebrews 10, 25 that we should gather together to worship him.
This is not a request.
It is a command.
Going to church isn't an option.
It is your Christian duty.
With the hellish apostasy of mainstream churches, attending church these days can be difficult.
That is why, you're King James only, traditional services in the ancient church of St. Mary Magdalene alive, online.
And I invite you to gather with your congregation to study God's Holy Word.

All right, as I said earlier in the evening, any, I don't want to say excuse, any reason, any occasion, any opportunity I have to extend an opportunity to Rick Tyler to be on the program, I like to take advantage of because he has an ability with words to communicate a message that far exceeds that of your humble servant and most of the people we have on the show.
Rick is just a good guy.
He's a good friend.
He's a fighter.
He's a lifer.
He's been at this forever.
And so because of that, and because of those reasons and others, I always enjoy hearing his opinions and his critiques and certainly want to ask him his key takeaways from the weekend we shared together a few days ago.
Rick?
James, it's really amazing to think that in the last couple of years we have seen come into the picture as far as your work, the political cesspool and related endeavors.
We've seen come into the picture some men who cumulatively, they have such a breadth and such a massive degree of experience and knowledge.
I'm speaking of the two former members of the United States House of Representatives, Steve King and Steve Stockman, and then of course Lou Moore.
And one thing that really, to me is quite interesting to take note of is the fact that there's an old saying, you don't have to win to win.
Sometimes in a loss or a defeat, an even greater victory will emerge like in nature, you know, when you plant a seed and it decomposes and then it springs forth into the new life of a tremendous plant or flower or tree or whatever.
These men, of course, have suffered defeats in terms of Steve King and Steve Stockman, defeats in terms of being betrayed by their own political allies, being delivered up, thrown under the bus, all of those metaphors, especially with Steve King, Steve Stockman himself actually being persecuted by the injustice system.
And in the defeats that were suffered, a new life emerged, a new vista of opportunity.
I think it's safe to say that if these two Steves were still in the United States House of Representatives, it would be much more difficult for them to openly and overtly align themselves with the political cesspool and all of the great body of individuals that are connected to your work.
And so it is a great victory that the enemy was foolish enough to deal harshly and in such an unjust manner with these men and give them the modus and the impetus to take the next step in their own respective careers.
Now, of course, with Lou Moore being the former chief of staff of Jack Metcalfe, who was also a great congressman, but also the man who ran Ron Paul's campaign, we know that Ron Paul was doing so much of an extraordinary nature, but at every turn, roadblocks were set up, impediments were created, all kinds of cheating and dishonesty was employed to keep him from achieving what he potentially could have if he had been allowed to play on a level playing field.
But through that defeat, Lou Moore still nevertheless participated in something that was preparatory to the advent of the Trump phenomenon.
So there's a continuum here.
There's continuity in all of this.
And it's when you stand back and look at it, it's majestic, really, in terms of how all of the pieces of the puzzle begin to fit together, how everything dovetails.
And it's humbling also to think that all of us, with all of our foibles and our flaws and all of our weaknesses, that we can nevertheless be used by the guiding hand of Providence.
We can be used to come together at the right time in the unfolding of history to make a contribution to what is being done for the cause of truth and the cause of good.
And now, of course, with all of these factors and phenomena that are converging, the convergence that's going on, we have a season of opportunity that, quite frankly, you've mentioned my longevity and activism, and yes, it goes back more than four decades, but I've never seen anything that even remotely equals the opportunity that we are looking at right now that is in the immediate foreground.
Now, along with great opportunity comes great danger as well.
And the metal of everybody has to be tested in times like this.
There are decisions that have to be made.
There has to be good judgment and wisdom exercised.
But James, I will say that your conference here recently was one of the, if not the best, that I've ever been privileged and blessed to be a participant in.
And I know that you don't take credit.
I know that you're not out for glory and self-aggrandizement, but you're doing it with the right heart and using the skills and the gifts that you've been given and doing a superb job.
And we all owe you a debt of gratitude.
And I know you're not wanting to hear the praise, but at the same time, I believe it is something that has to be stated.
We have an opportunity extraordinaire.
And the event was fraught with optimism, with positivity, that positive realism that we were discussing earlier.
And it also was a gathering place for a group of people just of really extraordinary caliber.
And that is one of the special things as well to realize that we are in the company.
I mean, we're the T9C minority of the totality of humanity, but we're in the company of some people that have overcome all manner of obstacles to get where they're at.
But most importantly, they're ready to work together in whatever manner fate delivers to us to try to push this agenda forward.
And that's where we're at right now.
That's what we have to keep in mind.
We have to be sober and vigilant and just be ready, be on the really on the edge of readiness and preparedness because opportunities are at the doorstep.
They're knocking at the door.
And now is the time.
Well, ladies and gentlemen, I think you just heard why I wanted, it was important to me to have Rick Tyler on the show tonight to help me recap this conference.
Now, when Keith is back on with us next week, we'll let him do a deep dive into his thoughts and reflections on it.
And we will get back to business as usual next week, talking about current events and different things that are happening, as we want to do.
But tonight, tonight, I thought, Rick, I thought it was important enough and it had the potential to be momentous enough that we just clear the decks this evening.
I didn't necessarily plan on doing the whole show on this before the event.
But once we got there and once I saw how it was developing, that's how I wanted to spend tonight's program.
But I want to circle back to something that you said.
And I'll put it this way.
Well, I might just be reciting you.
But it is the belief that I have, and that you just mentioned, that God sometimes blesses us with defeat so that greater victories can be achieved.
I want people to think about that.
I spent 15 minutes, Rick, at the top of the second hour tonight talking about just the different things.
Me losing my bid to win a seat in the Tennessee State House of Representatives, which led me into radio.
Pat Buchanan stiff-arming Donald Trump from the Reform Party nomination, which I think I'll say again, had Trump won it, he would have been massacred by either Al Gore or George Bush, and probably would have lost his taste for politics.
And Buchanan only getting 1%, which was just low enough for George Bush to barely skate by, thanks to all the Jews in Miami who thought they were voting for Gore when they were voting for Buchanan.
I mean, it just all, and then from the Buchanan experiment, that last campaign, Donald Trump repackages himself with Pat's ideas.
If Pat had done better, we would have gotten Gore.
Conservatives would have longed for Bush.
We got Bush, and he was so horrible, it led us to Trump.
It's just, it's a lot.
It's a lot to think on.
But I do believe that there is that.
And then even with Steve King, as much as I would have liked to see him become Senator King or still be in office, you're right.
I mean, if he was up there, we wouldn't have met.
That's just a matter of fact.
Our paths wouldn't have crossed some years ago.
And I'm not so sure now that God didn't see that he lose.
Time will tell.
Time has told on those other issues I just mentioned.
But perhaps God blessed him with that defeat.
So now he can work with people like Philip DeWinter, who he might not have come in contact with had it not been for this thing.
We just don't know.
But I do believe that there is a plan in our lives if we earnestly seek it.
Rick, we've got two minutes left.
That's the second time I've shared that message, but I thought it was worth repeating.
Well, it is profound, and it really is the story of history.
I mean, the ultimate, James, the ultimate defeat seemingly was the crucifixion of Christ.
And yet without the crucifixion, there would have been no resurrection.
And where would we be without resurrection power?
And that's really what this is all about.
And our Messiah showed us the ultimate example of defeating death and rising from the dead.
And, you know, we have the ability to tap into that type of spirit, that type of power.
And that's what we have to do.
I mean, look at here lately, South Africa's been in the news and the plight of the persecuted farmers, 3,500 plus of whom have been murdered brutally.
We saw that thrust into the national spotlight.
And truth is so powerful, but there has to be the boldness, the courage, the tenacity, the willingness to go out on the limb.
You know, the old saying, the out on the limb is where all the fruit is, and the horse that sticks his neck out the furthest is the one that wins the race.
We've got to be willing to go against conventional wisdom, so-called, and be willing to walk the point and go where the truth and where the devotion and dedication leads us.
1776.
Of course, we could just keep on and on.
We will either hang together or we hang separately.
So here we are.
We're at yet another crossroads of sorts in terms of where we go from here.
And like Admiral Farragut said, damn the torpedoes full speed ahead.
That's my credo.
That's my philosophy.
And I hope that everybody can come to that consensus because there is so much power in the truth and in the boldness and courage, the defeat of fear, not letting fear quench the spirit and keep us from doing what we need to do.
God bless you, Rick.
Thank you for your friendship, your most generous, prayerful, and support in many different ways.
So thankful to know you.
Thank you for being there.
We'll be right back.
Thank you, James.
God bless.
Thank you, my friend.
Talk again very soon.

Beginning to wrap it up, and we will be back to business as usual next week.
But what an exceptional night talking about what could prove to be a transformational event that we, you and I, those of us here together, through the work of this radio program, were able to do.
Listen to this utter bilge, this filth from this disgusting man, George W. Bush.
This was when he was President Bush.
It's one minute long.
Listen to this clip.
What's interesting about our country, if you study history, is that there are some isms that occasionally pop up.
One is isolationism and its evil twin protectionism and its evil triplet nativism.
So if you study the 20s, for example, there was an American first policy that said, who cares what happens in Europe?
Well, what happened in Europe mattered eventually because of World War II.
There was Smooth Harley, which is a part of an economic policy, which basically said we don't want trade.
In other words, let's throw up barriers.
And there was an immigration policy that I think during this period argued we had too many Jews and too many Italians, therefore we should have no immigrants.
And my point to you is we've been through this kind of period of isolationism, protectionism, nativism.
I'm a little concerned that we may be going through the same period.
I hope that these isms pass, which would then allow for a more orderly look at immigration policy, rational immigration policy eventually passed.
Okay.
You know, this traitor.
That was former President Bush warning about the rising tide of isolationism, protectionism, nativism on the right.
Alas, now here we are.
Now here we are.
That 1% of the vote that Pat got in 2000 was one of the most important 1% in American history because of the chain of events that we have laid out for you tonight.
I was proud to be among that incredible 1% that voted for him, but more than that, worked for him that year, changed my life.
And now, 21 years later, we're still on the radio together.
It all started there.
We got Trump because of that.
Bush was able to go in and through his horrible, horrible policies, was able to lead to the rise of an alternative.
And then now, I mean, where are we now?
By the way, one more thing about the conference, I got to say.
If you've ever wanted to see a photo of Philip DeWinter holding a Confederate musket with fixed bayonet, standing in front of a cannon, you can do that by going to occidentaldescent.com.
Brad Griffin wrote a review about the event.
You'll know it when you see it.
Review the Political Cessbool 2025 Will to Power Conference.
At the end of this review, there are, let's see, 3, 6, 9, 12, 15 photos that he put up in a little photo gallery there.
Check it out.
Philip throwing axes, holding a musket, bayonet, cannon.
Steve King, Confederate flag in hand, Steve Stockman, also with the bayonet.
It's just good stuff.
Check it out.
We did have fun, but we worked as well and we made plans.
Now, where are we at now, though?
Where are we at now?
I mean, so you have all of MAGA turning against so-called Pride Month.
I think June, you know, they were trotting out June.
My birth month, I'll turn 45 years old on June 22nd.
This was this queer homosexual month.
Now it's like white boy summer.
The Navy now is considering renaming ships named after Harriet Tubman, Harvey Milk, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and others.
And in fact, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has already ordered the Navy to strike the name of the homosexual sodomite Harvey Milk from its ship.
So you'll no longer have the USS Harvey Milk.
I mean, could you imagine going into war with that being the name of your ship?
You'd scuttle it yourself out of shame and embarrassment.
What else is going on in the world today?
I mean, but yes, I mean, Pride Month is on life support now.
This is good.
Things are happening.
Things are changing.
And then you have, as I think I just heard in one of the breaks earlier tonight, you have I was looking at a poll right here.
Oh, interesting.
Support for so-called same-sex marriage, which is not a marriage at all.
That's not a God-ordained marriage.
But support for same-sex marriage, so-called, among Republicans has dropped 14 points in just the last couple of years.
So we are moving in the right direction on so many things.
And Donald Trump has reinstated, as I believe we just heard, this travel ban on people coming in from quote-unquote shithole countries, as he put it.
And so you've got 19 of them, a new ban put into place that fully, in some cases and in others, partially restricts entry from 19 countries.
Let's look at the countries: Afghanistan, Burma, Chad, the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Yemen.
Good.
Good.
What would we want anybody from any of those countries here?
I don't.
I don't.
And what are we going to just get out and say it?
America was founded to be a white nation, and white people should run it.
It's our birthright.
It's true of any nation, of any other group of people.
It's Bob Whitaker's mantra.
Asia for the Asians.
Africa for the Africans.
White nations for everybody.
I shouldn't be like that.
It's okay for us to have a home of our own.
In fact, it's entirely moral and entirely natural.
Let's see what the president says here.
This is signing this executive order banning people from putting travel bans on these people from entering from those ports of call.
At the official White House Twitter account, the president says this week, we cannot have open migration from any country.
We cannot safely and reliably vet and screen.
That is why today I am signing a new executive order placing travel restrictions.
And then he goes on to talk about all of these places, including Somalia, Libya, and numerous others.
So as Brad Griffin writes, we'll take it.
We'll take it.
Brad, one of the speakers at the event, knack for polls and tracking things and compiling things, whether it be statistics or just a comprehensive list of things that are happening.
Brad has a knack for that.
But this is definitely an improvement over Joe Biden, wouldn't you agree?
There's no doubt about it.
The newspaper report on this, well, it's all over the press.
I see some other places that people are getting not allowed to come in from.
Burundi, Cuba, Laos, Togo, Turkmenistan.
I haven't even heard of that country before.
Venezuela.
Good, good, good, good.
So that's where we're at.
Now, again, you're going to have some people who believe that, wrongly, in my opinion, that we need to have this partnership with some of the Muslim nations because the enemy of my enemy is my friend.
Well, that's just, I don't believe that.
I don't believe the Muslims have ever been compatible with Europe.
Other people are not compatible either.
But just because they're at war with some people who have certainly harmed us fundamentally in so many ways does not mean that they're good for us.
I mean, you see, I've said it before.
I've said it many times.
You see what happens when Muslims come into places like Germany.
They blow up Christmas markets.
They stab people.
They rape people.
It was the Muslims that were a very real threat to completely wiping Western civilization out of history and out of knocking Europe out of the world at Tours and at Vienna and elsewhere.
So, no, I mean, these people have always been a problem and they will always be a problem.
They're not the only problem, but they are a problem.
And they are not allies, not in any way that you can count on.
So I don't believe in this multicultural alliance that is somehow going to be good for us.
Never have.
Never have.
They're no good.
They don't need to be in Europe.
We do not need them there.
And we hope that they will not be there.
Now, we are going to wrap up the show after we take this final break with my family.
You're all my family.
You know that.
But I mean my actual blood family.
And my wife and oldest daughter are in the studio tonight.
And of course, all of my kids were at the event last weekend.
You were there.
You met them.
You saw them.
And we're going to just talk amongst ourselves here to close out this show.
But before we do take this break, we are going to remind you again, hopefully by now.
You never know with the post office, but I believe two weeks is sufficient for the letter that we mailed a week before we left for South Carolina to have been delivered.
Our second quarter fundraising drive is ongoing right now.
And we need your support to stay on the air, yes, but to continue to work in so many other ways that is advancing our people.
I hope we have earned it, and I hope you will provide it.
We will be right back.
Stay tuned.
It is common for politicians, major media outlets, and nonprofits to hype white on black murders aggressively, or even claim that blacks are living in fear of white people.
Lynch for simply being black.
Hard to believe, but that's what was done.
And some people still want to do that.
This is why National Conservative launched the Interracial Homicide Tracking Project.
We have now documented well over 2,000 confirmed interracial homicides since January 2023 and created the most comprehensive overview of these killings anyone has ever made.
We plug the gaping holes in data left by other homicide trackers and government crime stats.
Rather than engaging in hyperbole and vitriolic rhetoric like everyone else, we are simply creating a massive sample size of empirical evidence so people can form rational and informed opinions about a sensitive and politically charged issue.

One more segment.
One more segment reviewing and recapping last weekend's monumental event.
And I share it the final few minutes tonight with my family.
Well, I have two of my kids in here.
I guess Caroline's out in the hall.
But this was something that I was excited about.
And that was, and it's been mentioned before, the families that were there, not just a group of old men, not just a group of men of any ages, but men of all ages, including little boys all the way down to toddlers and newborns and women and girls as well.
It was a great and healthy sight to see.
And something that I mentioned from the podium was giving credit where credit is due to our wives.
Certainly my wife, who, as I say at every event, and as I say every time we do a Valentine's Day show or anytime the topic of wives come up, there's just no way I could do what I do if I didn't have support at home.
There's just no way.
Because if I have to choose between doing this or my family, I'm going to choose my family every time.
So you need your family on board.
And thankfully, I've been blessed by a loyal and faithful and supportive wife who, when I met her when she was 15, this is the only life she's ever known.
I've always been involved, whether, you know, later running for office or whatever.
This has just always been a part of our lives, even before our marriage.
The show came.
I was doing the show, though, two years before we got married.
So certainly by the time we were married, this was already well ongoing.
And so she has been an integral part of the success.
Any good we've ever been able to do, she deserves the credit.
I share this program as I share my life, and that is with her and our kids as well.
I mean, they enjoy coming to these things.
They want to come to these things.
My son's always looking for a reason to go to South Carolina and get up and get back with his friends.
My friends are now his friends at Dixie Republic.
And we can share this mic.
It's fun.
Hold on, we're plugging in.
Keith isn't here tonight, so we're plugging in Keith's mic for my wife.
He's going to say a few words.
But one other thing that I mentioned, though, was Mrs. Steve King and Mrs. Steve Stockman, Marilyn and Patty were there.
That's so sweet.
So there's my wife.
Well, let's let my wife talk about the wives.
That would be more appropriate.
But I had met Marilyn before, and Steve King's wife, I knew, excuse me, Steve Stockman's wife, Patty, I knew through reputation for her just incredible, fierce, dogged determination to get him out of prison.
And we got to spend the weekend with both of them, as well as everyone else.
So talk about, just talk about whatever you want to talk about, as close to the mic as you wish.
Well, first of all, you know it's a good time when your voice is a little raspy.
I still a week later, I was doing a little bit.
It's a little raspy.
So it was a wonderful not-mouth isn't.
No, it's not.
I'm kind of in trouble for this.
And I think I love it.
Well, I'm watching the levels here in the studio.
So anyway, all right, go ahead.
Anyway, it was a wonderful conference, and it was sweet to see the mix of families.
And I love to see wives there because, you know, if the wives are there, that they're, for the most part, supportive wives.
And it's good to have.
I keep getting in trouble for talking.
All right, let me just hold it to you like this, and that's all you got to do.
You got to do it like that.
All right.
I want people to hear you.
I can hear you, but I want everybody else to.
All right.
So it gets my mind off track when you scold me.
But anyway.
All right.
We're talking about the wives, the families, the kids.
And not just, I mean, I loved, because again, think of all that we have to go through, all that you have to endure.
Sam Dixon calls you a movement widow because you just have to share.
But I mean, it is true.
You have to sacrifice, you know, a lot to be able to stand behind the curtain and support.
But I'm honored to do that, and I'm proud of all of the things that you've accomplished.
And it's, you know, a blessing to have a husband who works so hard to support me to get to stay home and school the kids.
And all the fans and family that we have that support us too help keep me at home and help me to help you.
So it's not just me.
I have a sweet support system.
And I love being your wife.
And I love being behind the curtain.
I love having the curtain.
I love having you as my wife.
And I think of, again, what you've had to go through.
I mean, it is tough sometimes.
But never once have you ever said, you know, we need to back down a little bit.
Maybe we need to reconsider this.
Not once, not ever.
Not even once.
And then I think about, you know, Steve.
I love this circle.
I love the circle that's been created and all the people that we've met through this adventure.
But, yeah.
Well, I was going to say, too, I mean, this goes again to the wives of our friends, the former congressmen.
I mean, just thinking.
They were so kind.
Well, they're great ladies.
But I'm just, you know, going through, thinking about Steve King's wife when he was going through the injustice and losing that race.
I'm sure, you know, that that was devastating to her, you know, when he finally lost reelection after 18 years.
And then Steve Stockman, I mean, my God, that plus, I mean, him going to prison and her fighting to get him out of prison for all that.
That's frustration and gives you hope and faith that if, you know, God forbid something ever to happen to you, I know that there's going to be, you know, one woman who've already experienced this.
And, you know, just a.
If I ever go to prison, call Patty Stockman.
She knows how to get people out.
I have a list of people to call.
Well, now, and again, it won't ever be because I actually do anything illegal, but as they say, find me the man and I'll find you the crime.
Real quick, because we got a special thing.
R.A., we'll just call her R-A.
One of the ladies that was there.
Melt my heart.
She is the epitome of southern grace.
I just, if we had another baby, I would name her after her.
She's just incredible.
She is who I want to be when I am older.
She's just graceful and kind and sweet and encouraging and just faithful.
And I just can't speak enough.
But when my daughters walked away from the conference, that's who they spoke about the most is because she was just so kind and gentle.
And then all the ladies, young and all.
All the ladies and all.
All friends, Courtney, Christy, Megan.
All the kids were just so well behaved.
Caroline sat and listened to these speeches from 9 a.m. till 9 p.m.
Well, I mean, yes, but we took a short pool break because she was so wonderful.
But I just had all these little babies sitting on my laps and just crowding around me.
And I was just so proud and filled with joy.
And it was just incredible to have such a mix there.
It was wonderful.
It was a wonderful conversation.
Y'all being there meant so much to me.
I would never want to do any of this without y'all.
Well, I'm proud to be a part of it.
And I will always stand firm beside you.
Well, thank you.
And I love you for it.
Now, one of the things that adds so much atmosphere to an event is music.
And we had great musical entertainment on the piano and on the guitar.
Now, there was one little piece of the musical puzzle that we didn't get to present because she had a sore throat.
I think I've got it now.
But our daughter, do not tell me that.
Our daughter, well, you can hear it.
Our daughter was going to sing.
She is a singer, and we've never done this before because she has a belting voice.
So you can't get now.
You've got to do the exact opposite, as I told Mama.
Yeah, you got to pull it away a little bit.
But she was going to sing for the audience, and we weren't able to do that.
She was going to sing there before Steve King's talk.
Let's see.
Let's get a little preview.
I don't know if we have enough time for the whole song because we've only got about a minute and a half left.
But hi, guys.
My name is Isabel, if you don't already know.
And I'll be singing the first verse of Vienna by Billie Joel.
Okay.
I haven't heard her practice this one before.
Slow down, you crazy child.
Oh, you're so ambitious for a juvenile.
But then, if you're so smart, then tell me, why are you still so afraid?
Where's the fire?
What's the hurry about?
You better cool it off before you burn it out.
You've got so much to do and only so many hours in a day.
Hey, but you know that when the truth gets told, that you can get what you want, or you can just get old.
You're gonna kick it off before you even get halfway through.
But when will you realize that Vienna waits for you now?
Vienna, because that is the Vienna is the city where Steve King wanted to or wants to form this foundation to advance Western civilization.
So that would have been the perfect song to sing in advance of him speaking, which is where we had secretly plugged you in, but you weren't quite filling up to it.
I wish you could have sang that in front of all those people, that prestigious and beautiful and wonderful group of people.
But Steve is still working to found this foundation or this institute in Vienna.
That would have been an excellent way to bring him to the podium.
Although we can hear it now.
This is to you, Mr. King, if you're listening.
Now, I'll tell you this: we did get to sing to Steve King, though.
His birthday was last week, two days before the conference.
So, we all, everybody in attendance, sang happy birthday to him while the piano music was playing.
And that was just, I mean, just a little glimpse into the kind of atmosphere and the kind of fellowship we were enjoying.
But nobody rocked out like you did.
You sang back.
I did tell him about that.
I did sing brown-eyed girl.
I didn't mention that.
Oh, we've got it recorded.
It was so good.
He had the piano and guitar behind him.
It was great.
Christy sang a little too.
That's right.
She did.
That's right.
I love music.
So I'll love y'all.
My 15-year-old daughter singing on the radio today.
Now you can see you've got radio airplay.
Hey, for everybody who was there, for everybody who wasn't there but are a part of this journey and that make events like this happen, please do remember us this quarter onward and upward.
We are advancing.
We're going to continue to move forward, but we need to move expediently.
We love y'all more than we could ever express, and I can't thank you enough for your support and kindness.
Love you, folks.
We'll be back with you next week.
Good night.
