Time Text
You're listening to the Liberty News Radio Network, and this is the political cesspool.
The political cesspool, known across the South and worldwide as the South's foremost populist conservative radio program.
And here to guide you through the murky waters of the political cesspool is your host, James Edwards.
Folks, the hitmakers keep on coming.
Paul Craig Roberts in the first hour, Peter Brivelow in the second, along with our correspondent, Jack Ryan, another correspondent, Sean Bergen, the former television newsman.
Sean Bergen, another national treasure.
And he's calling in.
We're bouncing all over the place tonight.
Where have we been?
Connecticut and in Florida and in South Carolina.
Now we're in New York with Sean.
Guests from all over the country tonight.
Sean, how are you?
I'm doing great, James.
And yourself?
I tell you what, I'm not doing too bad, brother.
And it's, wow, I hate that it's taken us until the first week of February to get you on.
We had you on Brighton Early in 2017.
You were with us in Washington at the inauguration, and that was a great, great show.
And it's great to have you back with us tonight.
Now, I know you're on to talk about the memo, and you don't have to elaborate which memo, just the memo.
But before we get to that, I've been asking every guest tonight their take on the state of the union.
Would you like to chime in on that?
The State of the Union address, I thought, was fantastic.
And that's borne out by the polling, where 75% of Americans say they really liked what they heard.
It was unifying.
It was grounded in American nationalism, all things about America that were great.
But I thought what I was most struck by was the petulant behavior of the Democrats, who were just, they looked like a bunch of smirking adolescents.
They refused to stand for our veterans there.
They refused to stand for the family of young girls murdered by MS-13.
They just, they looked, if you had watched that speech with the volume turned down, you could have learned everything you needed to learn about this country in about 20 minutes just by watching the facial reactions.
I mean, Luis Gutierrez, Chancellor of USA, USA, gets up and storms out of the room like a nine-year-old who's going to go cry in his room.
So, you know, that registers with people.
And maybe it doesn't register with, you know, the 20 or 30% of the country that is just die-hard, liberal, brainwashed, indoctrinated, anti-Trump.
But it does register with the independent voter who looks at this and says, you know what?
Maybe I'm not going to lean Democrat in the 2018 midterms.
Maybe I actually, I'm going to give this guy Trump a chance.
Maybe I like my country the way it was.
Maybe I didn't really know what Barack Obama was talking about when he said he was going to fundamentally transform the country.
I don't want to live in some third world hellhole.
I want to live in a place where African Americans have the lowest unemployment rate in the history of the country.
I want to live in a country where Hispanic Americans are doing quite well, where hardworking Americans are seeing a bonus of $1,000 or $1,500 or $2,000.
We know it's crumbs to Nancy Pelosi, but for those of us, you know, who don't floss our teeth with gold, that's a lot of money.
And when the paychecks come in every two weeks and they're looking at it and saying, you know what?
I'm getting like $150 more per week on my check.
This isn't too bad.
Now maybe I can lease that car I've always wanted or maybe I can do the economy now is poised to just take off.
And I think Trump's speech was fantastic.
It was dead on.
It was a little bit long, but I think that was just because of all the applause breaks.
Well, a couple of things, Sean, because I know this isn't the reason you're on, but it's big news this week, obviously, so we're giving everybody a chance to say something about it.
The reaction from the Democrats, I said this in the last hour, but first of all, you got the Congressional Black Caucus coming in in their African garb.
And of all the exemplary Americans that Trump showcased during his speech, they were all minorities.
They were all non-white.
I guess it would have been too controversial to say a white person actually did something good, except for that kid.
The kid was white.
But I didn't even stand for them.
And these were people you mentioned, the people who had had their children murdered by illegal aliens.
That happened to be, as a matter of fact, a black family.
But that wasn't even enough to get sympathy from the Congressional Black Caucus because Trump, they must have been Trump's pets or something because they were there with him.
And then Gutierrez, I mean, now USA, USA, USA is white supremacists, explicitly racist speech.
It's beyond absurdity now.
I talked about that during the last hour, but it's worth repeating tonight, just how far gone these people are.
And very quickly, we played this in the second hour as well, but I want to play it one more time.
Sam's found a better clip of it.
They said that Trump's position on immigration is hateful and, well, once again, their favorite term, white supremacist.
Hillary Clinton in 2006 being questioned by a Mexican reporter.
Here it is.
2006.
Let's play the clip.
What are your views with this new government in Mexico?
The issue of the border, the fence, and also the issue of the 12 million undocumented workers that we have here in the U.S. Mexico is such an important problem on our doorstep.
Mexican government's policies are pushing migration north across our border.
Very briefly on immigration, there isn't any sensible approach except to do what we need to do simultaneously, secure our borders with technology, personnel, physical barriers if necessary in some places, and we need to have tougher employer sanctions and then give them some earned right to legalization that will enable them to continue to work.
They committed transgressions of whatever kind.
They should be obviously deported.
Okay.
That was Hillary Clinton in 06, Sean.
So Hillary Clinton in 06 was actually a little more stout than Trump in his State of the Union address.
But now the line has been moved so far.
Trump is beyond the pale.
Now, of course, Hillary didn't mean it, and she just says whatever she needs to say in the moment.
But when is enough going to be enough with regards to what rhetoric is acceptable?
And when are we just going to say, I'm going to say what I have to say for the best interest of the country, and the rest of you can go to hell?
Well, I think that's where we're at right now.
Because, look, everybody knows that Hillary Clinton and the Democrats haven't got an authentic bone in their body.
Everything they say is focus grouped and tested and polled.
And back in 2006, maybe that was testing well with the focus groups.
We're at a point now where the majority of Americans are with Donald Trump.
And Trump knows it, and that's why he plays from a very strong hand negotiation-wise.
He gave the Democrats everything they could possibly ask for when he agreed to allow a pass to citizenship for 1.8 million DACA recipients.
The fact is that he put them on that path for maybe 10 or 12 years down the line, which shows you exactly why Democrats want to flood our borders with illegals because it's just a voter registration drive for them.
They want them to get, they want these people to have voting rights right now, today, for the sole purpose of swaying American elections.
Let me put it to you another way.
Imagine we didn't have 30 million Hispanic illegal aliens in this country who were coming here to be just about guaranteed Democrat voters.
Imagine we had 30 million Russian immigrants who were suddenly going to emigrate to our country tomorrow and given the right to vote.
Wouldn't you be saying, wouldn't you say that was, wouldn't you call that Russian meddling in our election?
I'd rather have them than the.
I know what you're saying, though.
Yeah.
No, no, no, it's not going to happen either.
That would never happen because why would that not happen?
Well, the hell, they might vote for Trump, you know, if you believe the narrative.
And that's actually what we're going to get into in the next segment is the memo.
But you're 100% right.
I mean, they don't, these Democrats would never live around these people.
You know that they don't.
But they do see it as a vote, and they're quite right.
And if these people would vote for them, that's why, well, of course, that's why what's going on is going on.
Now, when we come back, we're going to get on the memo.
We should have got it on it before now, but that was a good segment.
So let's get on the memo.
We only got Sean for one more segment.
It's going to be all Sean, All Menlo.
Next segment, stay tuned.
I'm Sean Bergen, everybody.

Ladies and gentlemen, what is the KQ?
You know, the kosher question.
Most Americans purchase their groceries while having no idea that almost every essential food product on the shelves is certified kosher by one of over a thousand rabbinical agencies across the country.
Indeed, the kosher question encompasses not only food and religion, but also affects our economics and politics.
In an effort to promote awareness to this kosher question, developers have recently published an app for your smartphone that will not only educate users on this little-known phenomenon, but also features a database of food products that have not been kosher certified.
The Co-Certified app has prominent advertisements on TPC's homepage, or you can check out its website at co-certified.com.
Wouldn't it be proof to start eating in favor of your own interests?
The Co-Certified app will be your start.

And now back to tonight's show.
All right, we're going on to the memo now.
After I read from you Sam Bushman's two favorite lines of the Senate Union address, and we'll leave that alone for the rest of the night.
Trump said this, in America, we know that faith and family, not government and bureaucracy, are the center of American life.
Our motto is in God we trust.
And everybody started clapping.
I remember reading in the press, a very prominent publication saying that that was a fascist moment.
And then, secondly, Americans love their country, Trump said, and they deserve a government that shows them the same love and loyalty every time.
Sam Bushman's favorite moments from the Senate Union.
But let's get to the memo, Sean.
We should have been doing it before now.
But the memo, the memo, the memo, that's the big talk in Washington.
It's out now.
Make sense of it all for us.
Tell us what's going on.
Okay, the memo, as it's come to be known, is actually a three and a half page document that was assembled by the House Intelligence Committee Chairman, Republican Congressman Devin Nunes.
It is the distillation of nearly a year's worth of their work looking into this what happened with the during the election campaign of 2016.
So basically, in a nutshell, here it is.
The Democratic, the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Obama administration colluded with a foreign agent in Christopher Steele, a former British spy, to cook up a phony document.
Christopher Steele was a former British MI6 agent with extensive Russian ties.
He's got a lot of sources in Russia.
He came up with this Steele dossier, as it's infamously known.
This dossier is not an intelligence document.
It is a political document.
Simpson was working for a company called Fusion GPS.
Fusion GPS are basically, they're referred to by liberal media types as an opposition research firm.
They're actually professional smear merchants.
That document that Steele cooked up, the Steele dossier, was used by the FBI and the Department of Justice to go to the FISA courts.
Okay?
That's the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act.
These are courts that issue that you bring warrants to or issue warrants for surveillance.
That document was used to get a FISA warrant for the purpose of spying on the Trump campaign.
This is what this memo does.
And you're going to hear people talking about it all day long.
Basically, what it does is it blows to smithereens the whole Russia-Trump collusion investigation that's being spearheaded by Robert Mueller.
The whole investigation was a sham.
It never should have happened.
There never should have been a warrant issued.
The only reason that a warrant was issued to spy on the Trump campaign was because of this dossier.
The FBI's number two, Andrew McCave, has said as much.
We know the document was salacious and unverified because the former FBI director James Comey said it was.
So what does this do?
This document basically connects a lot of the dots that we already knew were out there in the beginning.
There was no Trump-Russia collusion.
The Mueller investigation is a sham.
The only people who colluded with Russians was the Clinton campaign through Fusion GPS and Christopher Steele.
And they did this for the purpose of not only influencing the outcome of an election, but trying to topple a duly elected president.
We are now in the midst of a constitutional crisis, and this is just the beginning.
This memo is now, there is a companion memo coming out of the Senate Intelligence Committee being spearheaded by Senator Chuck Grassley.
That memo is also going to point to further corruption.
And today, Devin Nunes put out that there will be a second memo coming from his House Intelligence Committee detailing corruption within the State Department.
And all of this, as bad as it is, is just a prelude to the Inspector General's report by Michael Horowitz.
What a lot of people don't know is that while this Mueller investigation has been underway, there has also been a parallel investigation spearheaded by the Inspector General.
And they have the goods on everybody.
Everybody.
And I'm talking about Eric Holder, Loretta Lynch, Barack Obama, Hillary Rodham Clinton, Bill Clinton, Jim Comey, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, Bruce Orr, and his wife, Nellie Orr, who worked at Fusion GPS and helped draft the dossier.
Bruce Orr was an FBI official.
I mean, the whole thing is so staggering in the level of corruption, and we're just scratching the surface.
What does it mean in a nutshell?
It means the virtual extinction of the Democrat Party.
That's what I see.
The Democrat Party will be cast out into the political wilderness for at least three decades after everything that's uncovered.
Sean, you're getting me excited, but I hope that that's true.
It's hard to believe because the people that support the Democrats are so criminally corrupt themselves.
There's no level of corruption that they won't accept as long as they stick it to their enemies.
They don't operate by the same virtue that we do.
In fact, we tie our arms behind our backs by trying to treat them in a civil way, like with Jeff Sessions recusing himself as an example.
They would have never done that.
It was a gentlemanly thing to do.
But when you do those things against savages and people that don't obey the rule of law and will go to any extent to get a victory, you do yourself a disservice.
I hope you are right, but I'm skeptical when we consider the kind of people who vote for them in the first place.
But I would like to see some head rolls.
I think certainly they never thought Trump would be elected and be in a position to do anything about these things that they were trying to do to him.
Now that he is, they never going to get elected.
Will heads roll now?
Will he put some heads in the guillotine over this?
Well, you know what I find very intriguing is the sudden announcement by Trey Gowdy that he was going to leave his post as a congressman.
Now, where Trey Gowdy is going to go, I don't know.
But I think he's going to be going somewhere where I think he can put his prosecutorial skills to good use.
As a prosecutor, he never once lost a case.
The guy is good.
He's tough as nails, and he's razor sharp.
So I would look to, you know, possibly see him in the mix someway.
But look, keep an eye on these other memos that are going to be coming out from the Senate Intelligence Committee, a second Nunez memo, and then most importantly, the Inspector General's report.
Once that Inspector General's report is released, oh boy, oh boy, that's going to drop an atom bomb on the Democrat Party.
They're already scrambling.
The New York Times and the Washington Post, CNN, MSNBC, all the corrupt media now doing everything possible to spin this memo as some type of nothing burger.
But you know what?
At the end of the day, the American people have a very well-defined sense of fair play.
And they know what's fair and they know what's not fair, and they are able to recognize when somebody's being railroaded.
And that's exactly what they tried to do to Donald Trump.
They never in a million years thought the guy was going to get elected.
They thought they had race one.
There's a reason why Donald Trump got so much free publicity early on in the Republican primary process because they really wanted to see him as the Republican nominee.
Because none of these liberals think that Trump is a smart guy.
They all think he's stupid, crass, coarse, because he sounds like a real estate developer from Queens.
Donald Trump is playing four-dimensional chess while the Democrats are playing checkers.
Mark my words.
Hey, I'll tell you this.
I don't think that decency, rule of law, sense of fair play resonates with the Democratic voters.
But I will tell you this: you have gotten me as excited as I could possibly be over the radio.
And you are just a fantastic commentator, Sean.
I just want to tell you, you do it like none other.
And we're so lucky to have you on the show.
And I think, as, well, I know as this thing continues to develop and the fallout continues to develop, that we will be having you back on.
I'm just so glad that we haven't had to have you on yet because of another terrorist attack and knock on wood.
There hasn't been a terrorist attack in America yet this year.
This must be a record.
We've gone like six weeks, and we haven't had to have you on yet.
We'll keep tabs and we'll do that when it happens.
And then we'll continue to monitor this situation.
But thank you for breaking it down for us.
Nobody can do it better.
Looking forward to it.
Thanks, James.

Most Americans are painfully aware that the nation is on the wrong track and in dire straits.
Unfortunately, most political pundits only nibble around the edges when they claim to address the issues.
Even worse, many of the so-called solutions are simply rewarmed servings of what got us into the mess we currently face.
And the politicians think we're so gullible and naive that we'll buy their lies that they have reformed and now understand where they led us astray.
Unfortunately, the truth of the matter is that they simply wish to continue to hold power.
The solution to America's challenges is found in returning to the timeless principles found in the United States Constitution.
My book and lecture series will reawaken in Americans an understanding and love of the principles which made this nation the freest, most prosperous, happiest, and most respected nation on earth.

Well, it's been a busy night.
It's been a busy night, and it just keeps on going on.
Walter Yerku is back, the star of the number one Netflix documentary, The 7.5.
Details his colorful career with the New York Police Department.
Check it out on Netflix.com, The 7.5.
Walter's the Tennessean now, and he's so much of a Tennessean that I'm a born and bred Tennessean.
He's been down here for a little while.
He's given me news that I didn't even know.
So Walter told me about this story that was happening.
I didn't even know about it.
He knew about it before I did.
And neither of us live in Nashville.
But he came up with a catchy title for his segment tonight, Mayor Megan's Music City Mess.
And the mayor of Nashville, Megan Berry.
Well, we'll let Walter tell you the story.
Walter, welcome back, first of all.
Great to have you with us again.
And you can tell us what's going on in Nashville with the Mayoress, as I call her.
Okay.
Okay, James, thanks for having me.
Let's get right to it because I know time is of the essence here.
Yeah, I called it Mayor Megan's Music City Mess.
She came out the other night saying that she was caught in an affair with the head of her security, a sergeant Robert Forrest.
He was part of the Nashville Police Department for 31 years, and he's the head of her security.
Apparently, since the time she took office in September 2015, she admitted having a consensual middle-aged adult affair with this man.
The thing that's going on these days is people are trying to get out in front of things that they get caught at.
It used to be called damage control in my day.
I guess the politically correct, which I don't like to be, is get out in front of it.
She didn't make light of it.
She said she was truly sorry.
She swears that it didn't happen on Nashville time on any clock.
They were both off the clock.
We don't know.
That's going to be under investigation by Chief Anderson of Nashville Police Department.
She said that anybody could look at the records and There would be nothing criminal.
Anyway, part of it is that she's asking for forgiveness.
She's asking for a second chance.
And then she reported to work the next day.
Now, how can you trust a woman like this?
Although she has done some good in Nashville, you know, I've got to admit, I mean, she's a Democrat, but she's done some good in Nashville.
She's got a major league soccer team coming in a few years, building a new stadium, revamping the fairgrounds in Nashville.
She's improving the transit.
She's helping the homeless out.
There's less homeless on the street in Nashville these days because of the shelters that are being opened.
And she's doing a really good job.
However, however, she's taken the trust of Nashville and just, I believe, just tossed it away.
She needs to be held accountable for her actions, whether they were illegal, immoral.
What kind of a role model is she for up-and-coming young women in the political field?
I just don't think that she's going to be able to weather this storm too much longer.
The fellow, Robert Forrest, he turned his papers in to retire, not to resign, to retire on January 17th, which was exactly two weeks ago.
I guess that's his two-week notice, and he applied for full benefits.
And he can only get full benefits if the benefit program allows him to.
He didn't resign.
He retired.
So this has been grilling for two and a half or three weeks.
And I don't quite know who kind of blew the whistle on them and their little affair, but it was found out.
They scuttled around just like a Democrat does and tried to hide.
Hey, Walter, great job of breaking down the story.
I would say, I would say, you know, I am not a fan of Mayor Megan for her positions on Southern Heritage.
Now, that's a big issue with me.
For that, she should apologize.
Certainly.
And, of course, she believes she's holier than thou.
But on that issue.
But I got to say this very quickly, folks, check out Walter's Twitter.
We retweeted something that gave me a belly busted laugh this week.
I don't know where you got this from, Walter, but it's a poster to the bodyguard part two.
You remember the bodyguard with Kevin Coster and Whitney Houston?
So it's got the poster from the original movie.
It's got Rob Forrest and Megan Barry's heads superimposed where Costner and Houston's head would have been.
Never let her out of your sight.
Never let your guard down.
Never fall in love.
Anyway, but so the thing is about taxpayers' money.
Let's get to this.
So one of the things the stories out of Nashville are saying is that she taxpayers covered the cost for her to travel on Nashville mayor business to give appearances abroad, either in other parts of the country and even in parts of Europe.
And he was the only person that went with her.
So when they're flying to Greece, and Greece is actually a location that apparently she went to give a speech at as in her capacity as mayor of Nashville, you think when they went to Greece and it said they had spent like $20,000 or $30,000 on his travel and X amount on her travel, you think when they went to Greece on the other side of the world in Greece, something didn't happen.
They're having this affair.
I mean, if not then, then when would they do it?
When they're at home with their wife, you know, because they're both married.
I mean, you don't think that, I don't know.
So, I mean, if that is actually something that's actionable to get her removed, let's get her removed.
But on the other hand, people would say, well, hey, y'all voted for Trump and Trump has Certainly been accused of these things and almost certainly has had adulterous affairs.
Well, we know he has, and that didn't bother us.
So, your thoughts on that?
I guess you could say, well, that happened before he was the president.
Exactly, exactly.
You know, he was a businessman.
Well, he's still a businessman.
He just happens to be our great president.
But he was a businessman.
He had his own private life.
I don't think anybody paid much attention to him unless he appeared on Opo or Phil Donahue or something.
And, you know, they always knew he was out there.
A rich guy.
Nobody wanted to pay attention to him.
You know, the Trump Towers, Yvonne Trump, and then Marlon Maples.
You know, this is a guy going through his manhood days.
So you're saying the difference then is it's still equally, I guess, wrong, obviously, but the difference is he didn't do it on taxpayers' time and while he was in office.
And so that's the line.
Yeah, he didn't pull off Bill Clinton.
You know, we know the adulterer he became or always was.
And now we have, you know, Megan Mary.
They're both married, not to each other.
Having this affair.
Yeah, the head of security is married, and she's also married.
Well, let me ask you this, Walter.
I haven't followed this story.
Well, obviously, once you made it known to me, I looked into it, we tweeted about it, and we, of course, wanted to have you on to talk about it.
But how's it going now?
So now we're in the weekend.
Do you think it still carries over into next week?
Because the attention span of the American people in this day and age of constant media, constant bombardment is very short.
And a lot of these news cycles dissipate very quickly.
Do you think this is still a problem for her next week?
I don't know.
We're going to have to see what the chief of police, Chief Anderson, comes up with during his investigation on because he's the one that does the Mr. Forrest is paid by the police department.
So it has to go through their bookkeeping and see where his overtime was and how long they were gone for.
And I mean, they have the opportunity.
If he went to Greece with her by himself, he's head of security.
He's on the clock 24-7, even when he's sleeping, because he's got to wake up in the middle of the line if there's a problem.
And if they were, you know, doing their thing, you know, their consensual thing, as she put it, the dude is on the clock.
You can't.
Right.
Yeah, you're head of security.
Yeah, that doesn't end.
You know, you still close to her, but, you know, a bit too close.
You definitely, well, I guess he was definitely keeping her safe.
I mean, you got to give him that.
I mean, he was definitely keeping her close, if you look at it from that perspective.
But, right.
So, all right.
So, you, so, I guess basically, what it's going to well, he violated, Sam's saying he violated her safety as a married woman.
But I guess we'll see.
You're saying what it's going to come down to is whether or not the chief of police in Nashville is going to pursue this.
And this didn't become a national news story of sorts, so that's why we're covering it tonight.
It's not just a Tennessee story, although it's bigger here than elsewhere.
So, you think it's going to come down to whether or not the Nashville police pursue this, investigate it further, and perhaps even bring charges against these two for malpractice.
You know, in Tennessee, I think I understand there's there's no really criminal charge for adultery, it's more of a moral issue and a domestic violence issue.
Um, you know, she's been sleeping with this guy for two and a half years, just about since she was since she took office in September 20th.
Right, yeah.
I mean, this is day one.
You know, their eyes lock and the glitter.
And oh, my goodness, I got to be with this guy.
Well, I got to be with this woman.
And, you know, they're not kids.
So she made a conscious decision to do something that was immoral against her marriage.
And hey, you know, I got a bench halo, too.
I think most everybody does.
But I'm not the mayor of Nashville.
Now, people are going to turn around and say, hey, Walter, you know, look what you did.
You know, you got trusted of all New York City when you were a cop.
Look what you did.
Okay, well, 30 years down the line, I think I know a lot better.
Yeah, I've been sure to entirely go.
Well, that's true.
And we'll just wait and see how it plays out.
And we'll keep tabs on it.
We'll see what happens.
Of course, if this has happened in the 1950s, she'd have been out by now.
Morality Day is a whole different animal.
Thank you, Walter.
We'll talk to you again soon, brother.
Stay tuned, everybody.
Okay, girls, about finished with your lesson on money.
Daddy, what is a buy-sell spread for gold coins?
Well, when you sell a gold coin to a coin shop that's worth, say, $1,200, you don't actually get $1,200.
But don't worry, we're members of UPMA now, so we don't have to worry about that.
Daddy, why somebody seals that gold?
We don't have any gold at the house.
It's stored safely in the UPMA vault, securely and insured.
But the SP 500 outperformed gold.
Daddy, gold is a bad investment.
Some people do think of it that way, but actually, gold is money.
And as members of the United Precious Metals Association, we can use our gold at any store, just like a credit card.
Or I can ask them to drop it right into Mommy and Daddy's bank account because we're a UPMA member family.

Welcome back.
To get on the show, call us on James' Dime at 1-866-986-6397.
All right.
I'm busy texting my good friend Rich in the Nashville area.
He's saying we're having too many Yankees on the show.
Hang on one second.
Yeah, we got another one right now.
We got Scoop.
Okay, that's all I can text you right now, Rich.
I got to finish the show and then we'll pick it up.
But, yeah, you know, you know, the thing about Yankees is the one thing we've got to remember, ladies and gentlemen, Peter Brimelow can't help where he was born.
And I know people like this.
A great friend of mine was born in New York, and he apologized for it a lot, but he thought like a Southerner, and believe me, he thought better than most Southerners.
And so a lot of these people, yeah, is Sam Bushman a Yankee born in Utah, keeping us on the air every week.
So, I mean, actually, he was born in California, now living in Utah.
But so there's a lot of people.
What if I had just happened to have been born out of the South and then brought home?
What if my parents had been on vacation somewhere north of Dixie?
I don't know.
Anyway, we try to get right thinkers on.
But we are always going to lean south.
Our Cardinal Rose points true South, I guess you could say.
Anyway, speaking of Yankees, Scoop is back with us tonight.
And Scoop has some information.
Well, you want to talk about the Congressional Black Caucus and the Amtrak thing.
Now, that's another thing.
Actually, Rich, I got to say this very quickly.
People don't know this except for Sam Bushman.
Then we've got to get to Scoop.
So it has been a peculiar week for me.
My mom is in the hospital with pneumonia, and she's been in the hospital for a week.
And it's, I mean, she's not, I don't guess, really in danger of passing away, thank God, but it has been ups and downs, and she's not doing very well, and it's been a problem.
And so she's been in the hospital all week.
She was doing a little better a couple of days ago.
My wife had a pre-existing trip planned, and it looked like mom was doing a little better.
And so I told my wife to go ahead and take the trip.
Don't worry about it.
I got it under control.
So she went.
I'm at home with the kids.
I'm doing, you know, I'm managing the kids this week.
And then Isabel comes down.
My daughter comes down with 104 fever.
And so my brother, I have one sibling, a younger brother.
He's at the house watching the kids while I do the show.
My daughter's got, I guess, the flu.
My mom's in the hospital with pneumonia.
We've been going back and forth to the hospital every day.
It's been a haphazard week.
And the only reason I say this is because Rich had sent me a story about the Amtrak thing that I had just not been able to watch today.
But maybe Scoop can give us a little more information about that.
So all of that being said, Scoop, take it away in any direction you want.
All right.
Thank you, James.
Good evening, Political Assessable family.
Special message to Rich.
Rich, as soon as the Assess Bowl is done, you're going to hear Red 42 on Libby News Radio.
Now, the intro of Red 42 is here's two Southern boys from Metropolitan New York City.
And if you go on the blog of Red 42, you will read why I had James say we're two Southern boys from Metropolitan New York City.
But on to Amtrak.
And Wednesday, a contingent of GOP congressmen were on a chartered Amtrak train in Central Virginia when the train struck a track trailer all in garbage.
A passion of the truck was killed, and some of the paint train passengers were injured.
The lawmakers were heading to a resort in West Virginia, and the sexual track that they're traveling on was actually operated by a private company, which was the crossing was having mechanical issues.
It's not part of the Northeast Corridor or Commuter Railroad or things like that.
But what these train companies do, like Santa Fe, Amtrak, Norfolk Southern, CSX, they will lease railroads or portions of railroads from other companies or other railroads to move their people in their freight.
But anyways, of course, the conspiracy theories were just blowing like Niagara Falls.
People were saying the accident was an attempt on the locker maker's life.
The accident was to derail the state of the union momentum of the GOP or stop the release of the memo and so on.
But let's face facts.
A 200,000-pound locomotive going 61 miles an hour is no match for a trailer under 75,000 pounds standing still.
It's just physics.
I mean, the coupling in the front of that locomotive is made out of stainless steel attached to a stainless steel frame.
If you look at the damage of the locomotive, you know, it's quite some significant damage because, again, it's a trailer also made out of steel hauling garbage.
But my question is, why were the lawmakers around this sabbatical going to retreat while we're $20 trillion in debt?
We have no wall on the border.
We have no budget.
And here's some other questions.
Who paid for the train?
Because it was a chartered train from Amtrak.
And who paid for the retreat at the resort in West Virginia?
Now, if the controlled opposition wanted to put the GOP in the scandal or derail their momentum, they'd just do some clinton work and use bullets.
So say Paul Ryland committed suicide by putting two bullets in his temple or put dead hookers or dead little boys or whatever these perverts want.
Because believe me, folks, I'm still no fan of the GOP.
But anyways, let's go back to the State of the Union.
On Red 42, I have my opinions of the State of the Union.
Sean Bergen just blew me out of the water, folks.
I'll put it that way.
But anyways, it must have been retronight at the State of the Union address because the black congressional caucus was wearing clothing accessories with African colors.
Now, if you remember back in the 80s and 90s, these blacks have no connection with Africa, let alone the U.S., were wearing coofies and all this stuff with yellow and red and orange and green, just looking ridiculous.
But they're sitting there wearing their bow ties, necktie, scars, and all that stuff with these African collars while sitting on their hands doing nothing while people are cheering, you know.
Hold on.
Scoop, I got to correct you.
One of them was at least playing Candy Crush.
Okay, one was playing Candy Crush.
But, you know, when Trump said, hey, this is the lowest rate of black unemployment in the history of mankind, he's sitting there doing nothing.
Yeah, yeah, I guarantee you, if Hillary had said the exact same thing, they'd be jumping up and down.
Well, I'm not going to say what they would have looked like, but.
Right.
But I was surprised nobody from the Black Congressional Congress showed up with the Sheiki.
Well, you know, I actually, actually, I think there was one member.
I don't know if it was a member of the Black Congressional Caucus or if it was just a regular old Democrat.
But every now and then Trump would say something and he would kind of clap in his lap.
And you could actually see, it was pointed out later, Chuck Schumer would reach over and tell him to stop.
You saw that actually happened a couple of times.
I think it was Senator Joe Manchin from West Virginia.
Okay.
But imagine if you had a white representative, some say white congressional caucus, show up wearing kilts and bowler hats and other potential European garb.
Well, they should have.
They would call her a Klan rally.
No, we're protesting President Clinton.
Yeah.
Hey.
Well, Louis Gutierrez actually pretty much called it that.
He said it was an explicitly racist speech.
USA, USA, USA.
It made him leave the hall.
I mean, so, yeah, they came every bit of about two steps short of calling it a Klan rally.
Without people.
That's Reputation, but Dell Trump came out and said, you know what, we're going to give representations of black people to spend another trillion dollars this year in giving white people nothing.
There still would have been a Klan rally.
But you can't live with these people.
And guess what?
They're not going to win in 2018.
And we saw Nancy Pelosi's face saying, oh, boy, her goose is cooked.
But again, just disgusting.
But folks, listen to Red 42 because, again, we got Sean Bergen on, and he said more or less the same thing about the memo before it was released.
This guy is a clairvoyant, or he must be working at the Oval Office, not telling us.
So very quickly, just to let the audience know what we're talking about here.
So obviously, TPC is broadcast live, unrehearsed, and uncensored every week.
And boy, we prove it from time to time, like tonight when some equipment crept out.
We were on the phone.
But we're back at full strength now, so it's okay.
We do the best we can with what we've got, and we just keep on trucking.
But now, Red 42, y'all taped your show earlier this week.
Now, you're going to hear it for the first time in about 10 minutes when it airs in its regularly scheduled time slot immediately following TPC.
But you taped it earlier in the week.
So this is going to be a tape show for Red 42 that you're about to hear.
So when Sean appeared, Sean Bergen was your guest.
When Sean appeared, was it before it was before the memo was released?
Because y'all taped it on Thursday and the memo was released on Friday, correct?
Right.
Because Sean was skeptical about coming on.
I said, Sean, you know, if it's released, it's at least if not, you know, it's not.
But, you know, because you're, you know, but we don't call him a guest because, again, you know.
Yeah, he's not a guest.
No, he's family.
He's family for this show and yours.
But anyway, so when you listen to Red 42, and stay tuned for it, it's coming up next.
When you hear it, you'll know that that's why Sam, or rather, why Sean is talking about it before the fact because it was taped early.
But you'll get to hear two perspectives, the one after the fact, which you just heard, and the one before the fact.
Thank you, Scoop.
Thank you, all the great guests.
We'll be back next week.
Thank you, audience.
We're expanding to new markets thanks to you.
We're going to have more details about that forthcoming very soon.
God bless you.
We love you.
