I'm your host, James Edwards.
In the second hour of tonight's live broadcast, we're going to hear from Nathaniel Strickland, who is the editor of FaithandHeritage.com.
He's returning to the political cesspool later on tonight to discuss the craven cowardice that was put on display at last week's Southern Baptist Convention.
In the third hour, I'm going to break down the latest happenings vis-a-vis the political cesspool and the establishment press.
But first, but first, we welcome back our two intrepid correspondents, Sean Bergen, former television news reporter, and Jim Lancia, former police officer and author of the incredible book, Downtown White Police.
They're joining me for the entire first hour to help provide for you, our audience, an honest and sober take on what we witnessed unfold in Orlando just about a week ago.
So, gentlemen, here's my plan, my vision for this hour.
Sean, I would like to have you break down Orlando from a media insider perspective and Jim, from a law enforcement perspective, if you would.
And of course, ladies and gentlemen, we're very fortunate to be able to draw the insight from these two gentlemen who have served in a professional capacity in the media and in law enforcement, respectively.
So basically, I want you two guys to comment on the aspects of this story that you found particularly newsworthy.
First, Sean, to you, and then we'll go to Jim.
Break down the who, what, where, when, and why from Orlando as you see it, and then your thoughts on how the media covered that particular story.
Take it away, Sean.
Well, yeah, James, you're right.
Just about a week ago, we saw Omar Mateen walk into a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida, and open fire using a handgun and a long gun.
By the time the smoke had cleared, more than 100 people were shot, half of them fatally.
There are others that are still listed in critical condition.
That death toll could climb.
And then we've learned a little bit about our alleged gunman, or the gunman in this case, Omar Mateen, who it turns out is a closeted homosexual who was married to a woman who helped him throughout this terror attack.
And he comes from a long line of America haters, of course, beginning with his father, who is an Afghan national, a Taliban sympathizer, a very outspoken Taliban sympathizer who has had YouTube videos and numerous visits, I should add, to our nation's capital, where he's met with American lawmakers.
Who knows what kind of influence he may have had on this murderous son of his.
But, you know, this is the latest incarnation of an ISIS loyalist or an ISIS sympathizer who has done a heck of a lot of damage with just a little help from his friends or family, as it is in this case.
Now, I think about five or six weeks ago, James, you asked me to, you know, if I could make some bold predictions, and I said at that time that this would be the summer of ISIS, that ISIS has infiltrated our country in addition to infiltrated much of Europe.
They've done this in large part through this refugee resettlement program that continues in this country unabated by a president who appears, from what I can see, to be a Muslim sympathizer, an anti-Christian Muslim sympathizer, who is more concerned that American citizens might upset the sensibilities of these so-called moderate Muslims.
I have no idea who these people are or where they exist.
Islam is Islam.
And in Islam, they make no room at all for anybody outside of their faith.
I don't know where these folks are, these moderate Muslims that we keep hearing about.
I don't see that any have emerged to come out and condemn these attacks.
And it looks to me right now from my perspective that this country is sitting on a time bomb that was set in motion by our own president, Barack Obama.
He has, up to this point in his presidency, issued nearly 1 million green cards for people from Muslim countries to come and resettle in this country.
You know, this refugee resettlement program that's happening out of Syria right now, since the attack in Orlando, 49 Syrians have been placed just in the Orlando area.
I really am at a point now, and I think a lot of really intelligent people and a lot of American patriots are looking at this president and saying, whose side is this guy on, really?
Ladies and gentlemen, if that doesn't set the table for what you can expect, not only the remainder of this hour, but indeed for the entire program tonight, we are going to come at this thing with both barrels blazing.
Sean Bergen, an excellent job.
We're going to toss it over to Jim in just a moment, and he's going to let loose hell.
But Sean, my observation is obviously very simple.
You can either have a first world nation or you can have multiculturalism.
And in parts of the country where illegal aliens predominate, even parts of Memphis, it looks like they have recolonized neighborhoods.
You go a few blocks in the wrong direction and you think you've teleported into an alternate universe.
And of course, with the manifestation of diversity in the Islamic sense, you are having more and more of these attacks.
San Bernardino was only a few months ago.
Now it's starting to happen on a near monthly basis.
And I think that will continue if the current regime is allowed to remain in place in the form of Hillary Clinton.
So with this, though, you would think that this is the second major attack.
And from what they say, the largest mass shooting in American history, you would think that people would say, you know what, Donald Trump, he's right.
We have got to figure this thing out.
We've got to cut off this sort of immigration.
Of course, this guy was born here, even though he didn't consider America to be his country, quote unquote.
But the media has done the exact opposite.
I know that they had to spend the first 12 to 24 hours in a pretzel and some sort of a mental gymnastics trying to find a Confederate flag they could blame for this.
But when that didn't work, they went on to blame guns and in some capacity Donald Trump himself for creating this climate through his rhetoric that would prompt an action such as this.
Sean, you worked as a professional in the news media for a long time.
Your thoughts on the coverage and the treatment the media has given this shooting.
Good, bad, or indifferent?
Absolutely, absolutely revolting up to this point.
In the immediate aftermath of this, we knew that the left was going to, you know, knee-jerk liberals that they are.
And the media, I mean, really just revealed themselves for being utterly despicable in this case, taking this from what was a clear terrorist attack and trying to turn it into some anti-white Christian, anti-NRA, anti-gun.
It's all about gun control.
Let's completely ignore the fact that this guy was born and bred and raised to engage in this kind of behavior.
I mean, it's absolutely shocking to me to see the media basically turn on the American people and say, you know what we need to do in this case?
We need to disarm Americans across the board so that we can, what, cultivate even more victims here?
I can tell you something right now.
The American people, from what I can gather, are completely and utterly fed up with the American left and this anti-gun garbage that is turning Americans into victims.
I predict, I'm going to make another bold prediction here.
Not only, well, look, when you see the fags arm themselves with guns, you know that things are really starting to turn in this country.
I mean, when you see, this is the problem with the American left.
They do not wake up.
They do not change their behavior until they are directly affected by these leftist policies.
Sean, hold on right there.
You're the last person in the world I want to interrupt, but heart breaks are heart breaks, as you well know.
When we come back, we're going to toss it to Jim, let him weigh on in this, and then we're going to shift into a more conversational interview style.

Our featured guest this first hour, Sean Berkin, who spent a career as a television news reporter, Jim Lancia, who spent a career as an incredible member of the law enforcement community.

We're going to toss it over to Jim and let him weigh in on this, and then the interview or the hour rather is going to shift into a more roundtable format.
But first, Sean, you were making a comment before the break, and I marvel every time we see stories like this where the culprit is obviously the accessibility American citizens have to guns.
I grew up around guns my whole life.
One of my earliest memories, in fact, was my dad taking me to the shooting range.
My father worked briefly as a police officer, and then he had a career as a captain with the local fire department here in a suburb of Memphis.
He's now retired.
But, you know, I never, because of my access to guns, thought that this would be a good idea to go out and perform a mass shooting.
In fact, it was because of my respect for guns that I had a healthy sense of what they were capable of.
And the media, though, and the Democrats specifically, pretend that if there had just been one more law on the books restricting gun control and gun rights, that this would have been averted.
I don't think they can really believe that because surely a man who had in his heart the intent to shoot 100 people, kill 50, wouldn't have been deterred by one additional gun control law, but they believe that that would have solved it, or at least they claim to.
You were making a point, Sean, before the break.
Finish that thought.
Let's toss it over to Jim.
Look, what you're seeing on display right now, James, is the utter pathology of the American left.
These people are determined because they're determined to normalize Islam, which cannot be done.
They're trying to do, they are stooping to insane levels now to try and gloss over the fact that this is Islamic jihadism now in our backyard.
It's no longer over there in Afghanistan or in Iraq or in Saudi Arabia or even in Europe.
Now it's happening in small-town America, USA.
And they're just pathological.
You are dealing with people who just live in an alternative reality.
And the only time that they can snap out of it is when they themselves become victims of this type of conduct.
For years, I warned my gay friends about just what was going on in Iran.
When they say in Iran, we don't have any gay people, it's because they hang them in soccer stadiums.
When you look at what ISIS does to gay people, you know, they light them on fire.
They chop their heads off.
They dip them in bats of acid.
You try to communicate that to a gay person living in modern America, and they look at you like you're from outer space.
Now we have had in Orlando the gay movement's never again moment, right?
After World War II and the Holocaust, that has become an anthem for Jews.
Never again, never again, never again.
When you see Gadson flags, rainbow stripes, Gadson flags flying in gay communities in West Hollywood and campaigns now for gay men and women to arm themselves, that's when, you know, that's the only time they change is when they are directly affected by the negative impacts of this.
The media in this country is so utterly corrupt and depraved and sickening, I just don't even know where to begin.
When they start blaming American citizens for terror attacks that are clearly the work of this is Islam.
There's no such thing as moderate Islam.
You are either with Islam or you are not.
All right.

But, Jim, we've kept you on ice for far too long.
What were your takeaways from your monitoring of the coverage of this scenario from a law enforcement perspective?
And take all the time you need, my friend.
Well, sure.
Thank you, guys.
Well, you both put it very eloquently and intelligently, and it's great to hear other Americans know the truth because it seems like everybody is just so deluded or brainwashed or just doesn't want to know the truth.
I'm going to criticize some of the law enforcement aspects because Sean was a very good journalist, and he's criticizing his profession, which he should do because it has really deteriorated.
I think the law enforcement profession has in some aspects.
I'm not going to put on the average cop, but I see a lot of the upper echelon police look like they're colluding with this agenda to take away guns.
And that's what this is about.
President Obama made no bones about his last year of his presidency is going to be all about guns, okay?
With the UN gun treaty and everything else, they going after the guns.
And these situations, whether it's Orlando, San Bernardino, Sandy Hook, Boston, right down to 9-11, they're all questionable to me.
I mean, obviously, there's nobody in their right mind that believes 100% that all these acts were done without the help of our own government, okay, in some way, shape, or form, whether they allowed things to happen or facilitated them.
And this is the real problem.
I mean, if it was just, it is Islam.
I mean, that's one thing.
But they are using Islam as their terror arm.
And they're more than happy to do it.
We have a president who is favorable to Islam.
He's made no bones about it.
He's not a Christian.
He never has been a Christian.
It was only to get him in office, to sneak in office as some moderate Christian.
But we all know what he's done to the country.
But let's get back to Orlando then.
The whole situation of how it came about, the amount of casualties, maybe having one shooter, it just all reeks of FBI and CIA.
I mean, first of all, the FBI was watching Lateen and surveilling him for like 10 months.
He had ties.
He was an FBI informant.
He had ties with the CIA.
And just before the shooting, he tried to buy body armor.
And one of the Florida gun owners called the FBI and informed on him and said, hey, this guy may be a problem.
The FBI didn't do anything with it just before the shooting.
So if he was on the FBI radar prior to this, why wouldn't they have done something with a legitimate complaint by a gun owner, actually doing his part to call in a suspicious guy in his store trying to buy body armor, maybe having some nefarious objective?
So did the FBI allow him to do it?
Maybe.
So like I said, it's hard for us to trust the government, even branches of law enforcement.
Obviously, we can't trust the CIA, and all these guys have connections with the CIA.
And here's another thing.
This Omar Mateen worked for the G4S security company, largest security company in the world based out of London.
Okay, these guys are the ones that are being contracted by our U.S. government, DHS, to bring in untold amounts of Muslims through the southern border and who knows where else.
They're deploying them all across the country at taxpayer expense, and they're putting them up with housing and all kinds of benefits to keep them going.
And this is happening right now.
And that company, G4S, is actually being paid by our government to do this.
So, first of all, we already know that Islam is a problem.
We already know ISIS has been a problem.
This guy, Mateen, even pledged allegiance to ISIS during the shootout.
So we know that.
But why?
Why is the government still pressing for the Islamatization of America and for Europe?
I mean, it's like Sean and you said, this is changing our country overnight.
And it's not a natural change.
So we're actually paying for these terrorists to come into our country.
They're probably even being armed by our government.
I mean, there's jihadist camps all over the country that the FBI knows of and certainly hasn't raided them or done anything.
Okay?
So who's doing this?
We have to know that it's our government doing it.
It's a sad thing to say, but that's who we're dealing with right now, is our government these jihadists.
Jim, I'm going to ask you a follow-up question to test your hypothesis when we come back, and then we're going to let Sean Berkin and Jim Lancia converse with one another.
We're going to open the floor a little bit and have a more rapid fire exchange between the three of us.

A day after FBI Director James Comey expressed opposition to the idea of a federal no-buy list for firearms, Attorney General Loretta Lynch overruled him, urging Congress to enact measures that would bar people on terrorism watch lists from purchasing firearms.
The so-called no-fly, no-buy proposal would give the Justice Department an important additional tool to prevent the sale of guns to suspected terrorists by licensed firearms dealers while ensuring protection of the department's operational and investigative sensitivities, Lynch declared.
FBI Director Comey had suggested that the policy might make it more difficult to conduct surveillance of terrorism suspects.
Neither official expressed misgivings about the due process violations involved in summarily denying Second Amendment rights on the basis of unproven suspicions.

We've got two of the best contributors in the business.
You know, before the break, Jim pointed to, I think, a very important point that has a lot of Americans now today beginning to question just whose side is this administration on?
Is our government actually fighting for us or are they in bed with the enemy?
And what we saw over the past week is a couple of very interesting developments.
The first was a man by the name of Phil Haney, a Department of Homeland Security original member who said as soon as the Obama administration came into office, they were ordered to scrub any connections between Islamic Islam and terrorism in America.
He says in his new book that he's just released called See Something, Do Nothing, Haney says that he was ordered by DHS officials to eliminate material, intelligence material that would have been critical and could very well have prevented both the San Bernardino attacks and the Orlando attacks.
Now, is this being done purely out of political correctness?
One can only wonder.
The other part of that, of course, is the fact that Jim pointed to the fact that this guy, Mateen, was under investigation by the FBI.
He had appeared on their radar.
And then suddenly the FBI just decided that he wasn't worth investigating because the accusations that were being leveled against him by co-workers were the work of was really just anti-Islam racism.
This is not the first time we've seen that, of course.
We saw the same development with the Tsar and IF brothers, the Boston Marathon bombing brothers, who didn't use long guns, didn't use any kind of guns.
They used pressure cooker bombs.
Russian intelligence tipped American intelligence off to these guys, said that they are in bed with Chechen terrorists.
And the American FBI went out and interviewed the guy.
And again, nothing was done.
They weren't put on any kind of surveillance.
Now, I don't know if that is due to or any kind of long-term surveillance.
And I don't know if that is due to just the fact that they have limited resources, that they don't have the manpower to keep an eye on these guys, but you would think, my goodness, if they're going to keep an eye on anybody, wouldn't it be somebody like this, young Muslim men of fighting age who have made repeated trips either to Saudi Arabia or other terror training hotspots, only to come back to this country and commit acts of terror.
I mean, at what point do they begin to learn that we need to keep an eye on these guys?
It is absolutely astounding to me.
And then earlier on this week, just a few days ago, we had the CIA director John Brennan come out in testimony in front of the Senate Intelligence Committee saying that ISIS is trying to actively move westernized operatives into America for the purpose of taking out, for the purpose of conducting terror attacks.
And he said that these people, these terror imports could be smuggled in using the current refugee resettlement program.
I mean, here you have the CIA director coming out in front of and basically saying that our own president is importing people into this country who the CIA knows could very well end up conducting terror attacks.
Now, I had read some reports just a few months ago where ISIS was, ISIS leaders were actually saying, listen, all these lone wolf attacks, all these, these are just small little smokescreens to keep local intelligence and law enforcement busy while we move real-trained guerrillas in to conduct large-scale attacks.
When you look at what this guy was able to accomplish, one guy with a couple of guns, when you look at what that couple in Sandy, in San Bernardino, was able to accomplish, just a couple of people with a couple of guns, imagine what's going to happen when we start seeing four to six to eight guerrilla-style gunmen, jihadis, opening fire on either soccer stadiums or other soft targets.
Much like go ahead.
Well, I was just going to say, I'll tell you, Sean, that's exactly what's going to happen unless we have a changing of the guard this November.
It's guaranteed to happen.
And I appreciate you taking over there.
If people were confused about that exchange, I was shifting my mic while I was talking and turned it off and didn't know that until the producer came in my ear.
But I was going to ask Jim this.
We were just agreeing that the government is certainly criminally corrupt.
But I would ask you this, Jim.
To what end would it serve their purpose to have had a hand or to have perhaps had knowledge that this guy was going to take action such as this and then do nothing?
You would say, well, maybe it's to further their anti-gun narrative.
Well, to me, it does the exact opposite.
I think if anybody in that club had had a gun, they could have stopped this guy before he got the death count up to what it was.
So, Jim, the question to you, if the government had knowledge of this, how would it benefit their agenda to allow it to go through?
Yeah, I pretty much know what's happening here.
I mean, it's getting more and more obvious every day.
It's not necessarily that they think that they're going to take away guns.
They're going to keep going for the guns.
But that's a secondary thing also.
Like Sean said, and it is like he said, but just imagine, these mass shootings have been stepping up more recently.
Under Obama, there's been more than any other president by far.
Well, I'm going to pose a question to you.
We all want a changing of the guard by our political process in November.
We're all in agreement on that, and we all know who we want in there that we think would do best for the country.
What about this scenario?
These mass shootings take place more and more this summer, maybe in multiple locations, five, six, seven, eight, nine.
You have all these undocumented Islamic terrorists already in the country.
Like you said, the director of the CIA even said it himself being brought in by the government.
President, most, you know, most likely just ordering this to happen.
Okay, now what happens if they're all unleashed at the same time, whether it's by a terror cell, a big boss hog terror cell, or by nefarious elements of the CIA?
Under the FEMA, by law, the elections will be suspended legally.
We all have to start understanding that.
If you look it up, you'll see that if there is a mass crisis in the country of any type where the president deems it is national security to suspend presidential elections, he can do it.
And he can do it legally under the guise of domestic terrorism by ISIS or whoever else.
And does anybody, James or Sean, have any doubt that the president is capable of hatching a plan out like this?
I mean, I know I'm not going to doubt it.
Is it plausible?
It's entirely plausible.
But, Sean, I would ask you this.
Do you think it's even remotely possible that that's something we'll see between now and November?
I think that's the direction in which it's going.
Look, this is not just, it's not just terrorism that we have to consider here.
We've got every time Donald Trump shows up to speak, there are riots that ensue under the guise of these are anti-Trump protesters.
We also have the Black Lives Matter movement that is out burning down cities and executing cops.
And when you start sowing the seeds for all this chaos to start coming in a cascading quicker and quicker type thing, you could feasibly and plausibly see how he could, look, what happens if Hillary Clinton gets indicted by, you know, the FBI comes out and makes a criminal referral and the Department of Justice actually does decide to indict her.
Unlikely, but consider.
Well, okay, well, I mean, would that set the stage then for Obama to say, you know what?
Maybe we should suspend the elections and maybe I should stick around a little while until we can get this stuff worked out.
Because who runs for the Democrats at that point?
We don't know.
They don't have a candidate, really, is what it comes down to.
So I think that's right.
He can absolutely do it by law.
He can do it, Sean.
You're right.
Yeah.
Yeah, he can do it.
He can do it.
And, you know, a lot of people, I think, maybe six, eight, 12 months ago would say, well, how on earth would he be able to do something like that?
I think it's through exactly this.
You import enough jihadis into the country.
You keep the open borders on the south.
I mean, the southern border looks like Swiss cheese.
You've got, you know, radicalized Americans.
You've got radicalized homegrown terrorists.
You've got radicalized groups of leftists who are running wild throughout the city burning.
I mean, there's a lot of these Black Lives Matter groups are just chomping at the bit to start riots in cities all over the country just as soon as Trump is confirmed as the Republican nominee for no other reason than, you know, I don't know.
I mean, what has Trump done that would indicate to these people that it would be just fine to go ahead and start rioting?
I mean, it's crazy when you look at how all of this could possibly be engineered by people in power.
Jim, take it.

And we got to start thinking of that as a possibility because it's a very real possibility.
His actions have already proven it.
Now, it's a nightmare scenario.
I'll give you that, but it's a very possible nightmare scenario.

I just looked at the studio clock and was shocked to find that we have only one segment remaining this hour.
Time flies when you're surrounded by talent like Sean Bergen and Jim Lancia, but I'll make this quick gem to you.
Things are certainly heating up this summer.
The political climate is going to boil.
We have terror attacks.
We've had two now in the last six months in this country in San Bernardino and Orlando, respectively.
Riots are occurring at almost every Donald Trump rally now.
I mean, you have insurgents going in and bloodying up peaceful, law-abiding citizens who are going in to support the presumptive GOP nominee.
And then you have the situation in Cleveland.
In Cleveland, they're expecting outright anarchy.
There have been leaders in the black community, Black Lives Matter, that said they want all blacks to go to Cleveland with quote-unquote revolutionary intent.
And you know what that means, to go up there and do God knows what against the people who were there to support Donald Trump.
So you add all of those together with the possibility, although unlikely as it is, that Hillary Clinton may be indicted.
It would certainly give them the Trump card, no pun intended, to suspend elections, I think, if you've got a country in that sort of turmoil.
And that's what you and Sean are saying that could be possible.
I don't think it's likely, but maybe possible.
Is that pretty much it, Jim?
It's not just the only possibility, but let me make two important points, and I'll be very brief.
I'm glad we're moving a little past Orlando because it's just one event among many that is being used to precipitate what they want to be the outcome.
Now, like you said, the riots at the Trump rallies, the mass shootings, anything else the president deems as a national security problem can be deemed enough to stop the elections.
But here's an important point.
First of all, let me get one point out, too, that we might not have mentioned.
ISIS has been known for procuring police uniforms and infiltrating police departments and causing terrorism that way, posing as police officers.
I have to get this out.
In Europe, they caught shipments of police uniforms coming off the coast of Spain.
They caught shotguns, combat shotguns coming off the coast of Italy and Greece, coming into Europe.
Those are all going to be used to arm those Muslims there because the same thing is going to happen in Europe.
Here's another important point.
If you think it can't suspend an election, in Britain, just recently, you saw that a member of parliament was killed in the streets of, it was somewhere, maybe London, I think.
Are you aware of that?
Yeah, there was a British MP was killed in Yorkshire, I believe, not far from London, blooded and stabbed to death.
And that came just a couple of days after a French police chief and his wife was also stabbed to death by an ISIS empathizer.
No guns involved.
And of course, though, gentlemen, that also comes a couple of days before England, or rather Great Britain is scheduled to vote to exit the EU.
Right.
And aren't they talking about or have already suspended that election temporarily?
Have they?
Well, that would certainly be the intent.
That would certainly be what the establishment would want would be to suspend anything that would foster nationalism as opposed to globalism.
Right.
So I'm pretty sure they might have suspended it temporarily.
Remember, all they need is a temporary suspension to get to fully enact what they want to fully enact.
I believe they're deploying everywhere.
Obviously, we cannot believe that Merkel and France and all these EU people really think that bringing in these people, draining the tax coffers is actually going to do some good.
They're just deploying these people and just amazed that nothing has been done about it yet.
We already know that our supposed president has done so many things that really would warrant arrest by now for treason.
But there's just no one there that'll step up and do what is right.
Just place him under arrest.
I believe it really should be done.
And no one's doing it.
But, you know, that's fine.
But there is I would like to be as positive as you, James, that there's going to be an election.
The only other possible scenario that I can think could come out of this, and it's also a nightmare scenario, somehow our electoral process is usurped, which I already think it is.
And Hillary does get in.
And then the president leaves in January, and then he becomes president of the U.N. He's already on the Security Council illegally.
He's not supposed to be there, but he is, and no one has called him on that.
So he takes over the U.N., Hillary takes over the U.S. as a puppet, and then you have even worse situations.
I'm sorry to be speaking.
And of course, you know, go ahead.
No, absolutely.
And that could very much occur that Obama be placed as the head of the U.N. There's no doubt about that.
If not on the Supreme Court in a Hillary Clinton administration.
And of course, if Trump is what we hope he is, he has to be concerned about the prospects for assassination.
I mean, there's just no way that the powers that be will allow the American citizenry to elect the president.
If that happens, we would have been wrong about a lot of things.
Now, hope springs eternal with me, and I don't think I'm naive, but perhaps Donald Trump will dodge that bullet, quite literally, and be able to get in by some miracle and do the things that we hope.
I mean, I hope that that's the case.
And certainly I'm planning on voting for Trump and seeing that to its natural conclusion.
But it's going to be a very interesting time in America between now and November.
That's for sure.
There are just so many things that could happen that we've discussed tonight and that we haven't discussed tonight.
But Sean, back to you to comment on some of the things that Jim said.
We're starting to run out of time.
I don't think we've given Jim quite enough time, but I want to toss it back to you, Sean, because I want to say this.
I was going to email you here at the next commercial break, but I'll just say it to you now over the air so everybody else could hear.
You really should have your own Fox News show.
When Bill O'Reilly is out, he's out about every other night now, it seems.
Instead of Eric Boland, they need to have Sean Bergen up there in his seat.
Every time you're on this show, I just marvel at your ability to offer commentary on these issues.
But any response from you, Sean, on what we've heard Jim present and any parting shots on the topics at hand that we've been covering this hour?
Well, thank you for that compliment.
It does mean a lot to me, James.
And I think it comes from a great source.
Look, I think what we're all hitting on here is that the nation is at a tipping point.
We are probably at the most critical point in our nation's history, certainly within the last half century.
The nation is more divided now than it's been at any time since the Vietnam War.
You know, when you see a government like this using a terrorist attack as reason to disarm the American public, you know you're navigating very dangerous waters.
And when you hear a corrupt, perverted news media trying to push that agenda, I think that this country is just headed for very dangerous waters right now.
And like you said, I mean, it's going to be beyond interesting over the next few months to see how this all plays out.
But it looks to me like we're headed into a very, very murky time.
And just God help us.
I don't know what else to say beyond that.
I bought a gun myself a few weeks ago.
I got my ammunition.
I'm doing my target practice.
And I guess we'll see which way this goes.
Well, God bless you, Sean, for that.
And I do think Trump is sincere.
And that would lead me to believe that he would be placing his life on the line here, potentially.
But as you said, as volatile as the climate is right now and as much of a wrecking ball that Trump could be to the establishment, what will happen between now and November will probably defy even our own expectations.
And we're pretty much plugged in.
But whatever happens, gentlemen, we will cover it together on this radio program.
So ladies and gentlemen, be prepared to hear more from Sean Bergen and Jim Lancia as this year, this most incredible and unpredictable year continues to unfold.
As amazing as this campaign has been since Donald Trump descended that escalator about a year ago, it will be that much more entertaining.
And I don't mean that glibly, but this is going to be something else over the course of the next few months.
But Jim, a final word to you as well.

Well, like I said, I'd like to be positive, and we could all hope that Trump is sincere and that he gets in and turns the country around.
That said, I'm a former cop.
I'm very cynical.
I've seen too much to think that when someone shows a pattern like our government, our president, the pattern he's shown in the past eight years or seven and a half years, whatever, nothing has led me to believe that he's going to change all of a sudden and do the right thing.
And it's just, like I said, the pattern that he's shown, it's just, I can't see him changing.
And I just would like it to be that Trump gets in.
Like I said, it's just, I just don't have much confidence in who's in office right now and with the power that he has and what he can do with that power while he's still there.
But let's all hope that there's the people in our government, other people in our government that will stand up and protect the country from something terrible.
Let's all hope it doesn't happen.
But let's be prepared for it.
That's the important thing.
Let's just not keep it off the table.
Something that is very possible, very plausible.
Let's just not keep it off the table.
And I think Americans need to be ready for that.
I think that's a great way to cap off this hour, Jim.
Hope for the best and prepare for the worst.
That's what any responsible adult should do in any occasion under any circumstances.
