Time Text
You're listening to the Liberty News Radio Network, and this is the Political Cesspool.
The Political Cesspool, going across the South and worldwide as the South's foremost populist conservative radio program.
And here to guide you through the murky waters of the Political Cesspool is your host, James Edwards.
Well, it's a very special Saturday evening, May 21st.
We are broadcasting live from the wilds of Tennessee up here at Montgomery Bell State Park.
And this is the Political Cesspool, James Edwards and Keith Alexander, and about 300 of our closest friends here this evening.
And it is the American Renaissance Conference.
And it has been an incredible conference.
It kicked off last night all day today.
And I mean all day.
It was a full day of activity and speakers and a lot of great people, faces in the crowd, luminaries.
And we're going to have a lot of them on tonight.
We're going to be pulling some of these interesting personalities that we've been rubbing shoulders with over the course of the last, well, about 24 hours now, I guess, and counting.
And we're going to put them on the show.
So this is, as I said, a very unusual show in that we have come in here with not one bit of content.
We have come in here without a single story we want to cover.
And we're just going to be pulling in people as they meander in and out.
The setup here is, of course, you've got the main conference room, which is a little bit down the hall.
That's where everything's happening.
They're going to have a banquet tonight.
Ramsey Paul is the keynote speaker.
And then we are in a boardroom that's adjacent to the Great Hall across the hall.
So we're in our own room, so we're not disruptive.
And people are basically just going to be drifting in and out over the course of the next three hours.
And when an interesting person walks in, we'll try to put on.
I don't see any or her on.
Yeah, that's right, Keith.
Keith, before we start selecting from the crowd in here, we've already got, I mean, listen to who I'm looking at.
We just got a few people here.
We've got Gene Andrews, who, of course, gave the memorable presentation at our 10-year anniversary event on Nathan Bedford Forest at Fort Pillows.
I'm looking at him.
I'm looking at Bill Johnson.
I'm looking at Jared Taylor and some other great high-quality individuals.
So we should probably get the man of the hour pretty quick.
He's going to be in demand in pretty short order.
Do you want to share very quickly your thoughts on the conference, and then we'll put Jared on the next segment?
Well, the conference is an unqualified success.
I would say that we probably have twice as many people here as we had last year.
The youth movement has arrived.
It's the wave of the future.
And Jared is riding the wave with Amran.
Had really a great international cast of speakers today.
And quite frankly, without further ado, why don't we put Jared on?
Because I know he's got other places to be.
Very much in demand.
I think he will be busy for the remainder of the night.
300 people pulling at him, trying to get some FaceTime, a picture, an autograph, a word.
It's Jared Taylor.
Jared, what an outstanding event.
I mean, and we've been to a lot of outstanding American Renaissance events before.
How would you say this shapes up in the catalog of your history?
I would say it's the best so far.
You said that last year.
It is always true.
It's always true.
And you helped wonderfully.
Well, I appreciate you saying that, Jared.
We were the, we, I guess I'm talking about myself in the third.
What is that?
Is that third, fourth person?
I was the first one to go today, and I appreciate you giving me that leadoff position.
Well, as I said to you that I knew that you would score a solid base hit and maybe a homer.
And so you were the top of the batting order, and you did just great.
Everybody is delighted.
Everybody is happy.
I appreciate that.
We've had some good comments, and you gave me the opportunity, and you gave me a subject matter to discuss that I was, of course, well familiar with.
And we're going to be breaking down who spoke, what they spoke about as the three hours rolls on tonight.
But, Jared, just break down again.
Of course, it was a fantastic conference.
I mean, that doesn't even begin to cover it.
But what are some of the observations you made that you would like to share with the audience above and beyond?
Of course, they should have been here.
They couldn't have been here, really.
Well, we're pretty much bursting at the seams.
That's true.
It was standing room only, folks.
I wish you could have seen how big this hall was.
And, you know, at times it looked as though, and you couldn't have fit another seat in there.
All right.
And it was at times as though it looked as though people were lining the walls.
And in fact, I asked you last week if you'd like to come on one last time on the show a week ago Saturday.
You said, well, you would, of course, love to, but if anybody else signs up, we're going to have to turn them away.
That's right.
We didn't want to raise any false hopes in that respect.
And as you know, we've booked every room in this facility.
It's got 120 rooms.
And people have still had to spill out to hotels all around here.
Everybody here this weekend is our folks.
So in effect, we have our own little homeland.
But just for the weekend.
Just for the weekend.
Just for the weekend.
If it could be like this all the time, well, maybe a few people would want to live in a place like that.
But the energy.
The energy.
Obviously, the undercurrent of Trump has made it a little more palpable.
You know, there's something there.
There's a crest.
And, you know, we're riding that crest along with every other decent American.
But give us, in your own words, an assessment on the, I don't know, the charisma, the overall feel and vibe of the proceedings.
The question all the media have.
Hostile and friendly.
A big media contention here, I might add.
Oh, yes.
Oh, we got the Wall Street Journal.
We've got Doggins-Nikitter, which is the quote of the New York Times and Sweden.
We've got Vice, the video people.
We've got Talking Points, Memo, BuzzFeed.
Lots of people are here.
But what they all want to know is, well, how much does Trump have to do with the energy in our movement today?
And I tell them, I think that Michael Brown is probably as important as Donald Trump.
How about that?
Good observation.
Yes.
Michael Brown, Freddie Gray, riots in Ferguson, riots in Baltimore.
President Obama, with a stroke of the pen, wants to legalize millions of illegals.
And you're probably familiar with these new DOJ Department of Justice regulations to forcibly integrate white neighborhoods.
This ordinary Americans look at this kind of thing and they say, what is going on?
And then they find us.
That's absolutely right.
And there's so much happening.
I talked about this briefly, but there's just so much happening, a real convergence of new and old voices for our cause.
And you're really seeing a cumulative effect now.
And because everybody has been seeing these things, I mean, nobody could watch Ferguson and say, you know, I want the status quo to maintain itself.
And so you've got an outsider like Trump.
I think he's going to win the presidency.
And I've talked about this, and I don't even think it's going to be competitive.
I've been saying that all weekend, whether or not he will be anything close to what we hope.
And what do we hope he is?
What do we hope he is?
We hope what?
What would we want him to be in a best case scenario?
Oh, gosh.
We would want him to be Sam Dixon.
We'd want him to be James Edwards.
Well, he may not be Sam Dixon or Jared Taylor, but we want him to at least be someone with unsuccessful.
You were asking me what I really hope.
So whatever he is, though, we'll find out.
And I think we will find out because I think he's going to win.
But we know what any of the other 17 or 16 other candidates on the GOP ticket would have been and what, of course, Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton would have been.
So with Trump, there is a chance and a chance to have something very different than we would have had really in any other presidential election cycle in my life, in my life, except for Buchanan.
That's right.
Buchanan's the only exception in the last, what, 40 years since I was alive in the 80s.
So, yeah.
No, as I've been saying to some people, I don't really know the mind of Donald Trump.
I think none of us in this room does.
We've never met him.
We've never had an extended conversation with him.
Never even spoken to a friend of his.
I have no contact at all.
I'm not in a position to really look into his heart.
But of all the candidates out there, he's the only one that I could imagine, and I can imagine this without that much difficulty, but I can imagine him saying, well, what's wrong with white people wanting to remain a majority in their neighborhoods?
He might just toss that off as well.
That's right.
Position.
And I think he is certainly a broker of common sense with regard to immigration, trade, political correctness, his contempt for the media, a righteous disdain.
But anyway, Jared, we're coming up on our first break.
I know you're so busy tonight.
You are the man of the hour.
Thank you for putting on this incredible event.
And we'll let you get back to the rest of your fans.
Thank you for being with us first tonight.
Scott Bradley here.
Most Americans are painfully aware that the nation is on the wrong track and in dire straits.
Unfortunately, most political pundits only nibble around the edges when they claim to address the issues.
Even worse, many of the so-called solutions are simply rewarmed servings of what got us into the mess we currently face.
And the politicians think we're so gullible and naive that we'll buy their lies that they have reformed and now understand where they led us astray.
Unfortunately, the truth of the matter is that they simply wish to continue to hold power.
The solution to America's challenges is found in returning to the timeless principles found in the United States Constitution.
My book and lecture series will reawaken in Americans an understanding and love of the principles which made this nation the freest, most prosperous, happiest, and most respected nation on earth.
Visit topreservethenation.com and order my book and lectures to begin the restoration of this great nation.
Liberty is not free.
Its costs are innumerable.
Without monetary funding, the valiant efforts of freedom-loving Americans become diminished or outright defeated.
We present a solution, the Give Me Liberty Fund.
The plan is quite simple: invite individual Americans to contribute less than a dollar a day.
These monetary funds are used to promote liberty-minded media, organizations, events, candidates, movements, and speakers.
In the spirit of transparency, all expenditures are published.
Patriotic business owners provide discounted products and services to Give Me Liberty Fund members.
Our greatest strength is in numbers.

All right, back live tonight at the American Renaissance Conference 2016.
I'll go down the list of speakers.
Very much an international flavor on display.
I was, I guess, along with, well, there's a Sam Dan.
You're the leadoff batter.
Well, I was the leadoff batter, but I may have been the only person with an American accent speaking today other than Jared.
And that's a good thing.
It's the diversity of our people.
And tomorrow, Sam Dixon will be speaking.
Ramsey Paul speaks tonight.
But Peter Brimelow, of course, not an American accent for sure.
British ancestry.
And we had Fernando Cortez from Mexico, Philip DeWinter from Sweden.
And he is, not from Sweden, from Belgium.
And he is, of course, a member of European Parliament, which is the, I guess, their equivalent of a senator or something of the like.
And Dan Root from South Africa, Ruben Caleb, I think he is from Sweden.
Then Jared.
So we'll break down.
Estonia.
I'm sorry, Liz.
From Estonia.
And anyway, it was just a tremendous lineup, very much a diverse lineup of people speaking on different topics.
But of course, they all had the same common denominator.
So Keith, you wanted to continue on with a few observations before we bring on our next guest.
Well, let's just talk about Trump for a moment because that's what Jared was talking about.
And that's kind of the presence that looms behind this entire conference.
He was asked whether or not Donald Trump's candidacy is responsible for the fact that this particular gathering is twice as large as last year's.
And he said it's as much Michael Brown and Ferguson and the DOJ's latest, that's Department of Justice's latest indignity against the American people, basically trying to pump minority people in public housing into exclusive white neighborhoods.
All of this stuff is conspiring to create the perfect storm.
Now, the thing about Trump is that Trump is bound to disappoint, but I think he's going to be a transformative figure anyway.
He is not an intellectual, but what he is is a leader.
That's even rare and more necessary at this particular moment in history.
Trump is, I think, analogous to George Washington in the American Revolution.
George Washington was not the most intellectual of the founding fathers.
In fact, I'm sure that Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, George Mason, any number of others were more intellectual and really, quite frankly, smarter than George Washington.
But George Washington's leadership qualities were absolutely essential.
And without them, I doubt that the American Revolution would have succeeded.
And I think that Trump is basically the man of the hour.
He's a man of destiny.
And I'm with you.
I think he's going to sweep to an electoral victory this November.
And then we'll just see what we've got.
It's like Forrest Gump said, life is like a box of chocolates.
You never know what you're going to get.
And I guess that's what we've got with Donald Trump, in my opinion.
Well, we know what we're going to get next here on the political cesspool.
Gene Andrews.
Gene Andrews, who spoke at our ten-year anniversary event, as I mentioned earlier, and he spoke on the truth about Forrest's raid on Fort Pillow.
And I was very delighted to walk in last night.
And Gene was one of the first people that I ran into.
And as I mentioned to Gene last night, when we wrapped up our coverage of Confederate History Month last April, well, I guess a couple of weeks ago now, the last week of April, the third hour of the last show in April was Gene's interview about that very talk that he gave during which he broke it down in a condensed version for radio.
And now here he is with us live again for the first time in about a year, a little bit over a year.
So, Gene, how are you?
Thank you very much for the invitation and glad to be here.
And yes, I was one of the first to register because Andrews was in the A-line.
So that's made me fire.
They called it up alphabetically.
Very good.
But thank you and Keith for what y'all do.
I really appreciate this.
It's really great to have someone out there that's giving the truth over the airways and telling what really needs to be presented to the American public.
And thank you.
I know it's oftentimes a lot of sacrifice that goes into this, but thank you very much.
Well, it's men like you, Gene, in all honesty, that give us the opportunity to do just that.
Men like Bill Johnson and others, and without whom, you know, we just wouldn't be here.
So you give us the means and we provide a voice, not the voice, but a voice.
Anyway, your take on the conference.
I'm going to ask that of everybody that sits down with us tonight.
What were the things that jump out to you that you would like to share with those listening?
I was very much impressed with the intelligence and the even-handed presentation that the speakers gave.
I enjoy going to these because you learn so much just sitting there and listening.
And the quality of people that were brought in to talk and speak and give their stories about what was going on in their country and outside of the United States and what's going on in the rest of the world.
And the opportunity is that we never get this presented to us for the mainstream news media.
These people are a pariah that is just not allowed on a national access in the United States.
And it's almost like discovering the lost continent of Atlantis.
You say, wait a minute, there's a lot out there that we haven't heard before.
And there are a lot of people that have excellent ideas and excellent presentations that are shut out of the national media.
You mentioned how the media cast us as pariahs, and that was something that, of course, I spoke about.
The very, I don't want to say unfair because that comes across as whining, but just the degenerate lies that the media puts out there about our people and what we're for.
Speak to the character of the people with whom you've had discussions with over the course of the weekend.
Do they fit the caricature the media would paint of people who are conscious about these issues, or is it a little bit different?
Of course not.
The people that are here are about 180 degrees off from what the media portrays us or portrays these people as.
Like I said, they're very intelligent, very articulate, and of course they're morally sound.
Yes, sir.
And from other nationalities, some of them have a rather thick accent, but I think they'd probably say that I have a rather thick accent.
Tennessee accent.
But they're most interesting to talk to.
And as I said, very intelligent, very articulate, very able to present their ideas and their beliefs without having to shout and scream and point fingers and call people names and that sort of thing.
If everybody in America who was curious about these issues was privy to this conference and could meet the people, this is a group that they would want to be part of.
They would want to be part of a movement that has the caliber of the people that this conference can boast.
And it's just really all-American people.
That's the only way you can describe it.
All-American people.
Gene, we only have about a minute left.
We have a very special event coming up.
I should say we, it's your event or an event that you're promoting.
Tell us about that.
Today's the third Saturday in June, we have the Forest Homecoming and Southern Heritage Festival at the Nathan Bedford Forest Boyhood Home near Chapel Hill, Tennessee.
That'll be Saturday, the 18th of June.
It runs from 9 in the morning till 4 in the afternoon.
We'd like to invite everyone within the middle Tennessee mid-South area to come by and visit us.
We have artillery, cavalry, infantry demonstrations.
We have singers.
We have historical lectures.
We have southern settlers.
We have plenty of flags for sale.
They sold out last summer, but we have plenty now.
And being a southern event, of course, we have plenty to eat.
Barbecue, hamburgers, hot dogs.
And you promised me there'd be a group singing of Dixie.
Yes, sir.
There will be a group singing of Dixie.
Always.
When exactly is that again?
Near Chapel Hill, Tennessee, Middle Tennessee.
It's just off I-65, coming south out of Nashville.
Is there a phone number or a website, people can't do it?
Yes, sir.
The SCV website, 1-800-Miles South.
And you can get all the information you need right there.
This is for the Forest Homecoming, Chapel Hill, Tennessee.
The date again?
Saturday, June the 18th.
And you heard about some of the activities and festivities that are going to be on display there.
You want more information?
Call the SCV and ask about the Forest event at Chapel Hill.
1-800 Miles South.
Yes, sir.
You'll be there.
I will be there.
I'll be the one with the nervous twitch after working two months to get that ready to go.
But we enjoy it.
It's a good time.
That is something that's just so personal to me.
And so, you know, I appreciate people who are pulling in the right direction on any of the issues that bring this show to life.
But when it's something about the South, you know, it's something about family.
Oh, it's pro-South.
There's no doubt about that.
So that pulls on the heartstrings a little bit more than the other issues that we're passionate about.
But this is something that we're very passionate about.
Thanks, Gene.
Thank you very much.
We're going to be able to Nathan and then Bill Johnson and then some other people when we come back.
Thank you, Gene.
Gene Andrews.
Yes, sir.
Thank you. Institution is our guide.
You're listening to Liberty News Radio.
Listen, do you hear that sound?
It started low, but it's getting progressively louder into a crescendo, even louder, irresistible, ending in an ear-splitting blast of mass disruption.
That's the sound of America's economic and political systems crashing to the ground.
But we have a plan.
We will be ready to restore political sanity.
We will be ready to answer the call of productive America.
We will restore America's industrial base and put America back to work.
We will shut down political correctness and restore decency and positive media to America.
We will save our Constitution, our traditional way of life, our customs, and religion.
We will restore sound money and crush the debt-based system of monetary slavery.
And we will end America's foreign misadventures.

There are quite a few reasons for the precarious state of our civilization and our people, but one of the main ones is that we have lost the intellectual and moral high ground to a cultural elite that is hostile to our people and our culture.
Those of us who are politically aware must understand that the elites dominating culture and the political process in the West are intellectually and morally bankrupt.

To get on the show, call us on James's Dime at 1-866-986-6397.
All right, folks, I'm really excited to introduce to you someone who has not previously been on the program, but someone I think you'll be hearing a lot about going into the future, Nathan D'AMigo.
And I was talking with Mark Weber earlier today, and I was commenting to Mark.
I've known Mark since I got involved 16 years ago, and he was joking about how I'm not the youngest in the crowd anymore and how things change.
And I guess I'm getting pretty close to middle age.
You're getting old, man.
You can round up in math.
You can round up five to the next ten.
So 35 rounds up to 40 or something, right?
Well, anyway, I was talking to Mark, and I said, Mark, not only that, I said that the younger people, the people younger than me, are so much more articulate than I was at that age and can frankly talk circles around me now.
And the person I was talking about that I had in mind was the man who's on the mic with me right now.
You were actually, I overheard you speaking with a reporter.
And I was just like, you know, that is incredible.
It really is incredible.
So Nathan, tell us a little bit about your work, your organization.
And well, let's just start there and then we'll talk about the event in California last week.
Yeah, definitely.
Well, thanks for having me on.
I'm glad I was able to run into you.
I was actually really excited to meet you as well and surprised that you had seen what I had done.
But basically, just for the audience, we just launched an organization about two months ago called Identity Europa.
And what we're looking to do is really just foster a sense of identity among people of European heritage and just really get them to realize that we as a people have group interests.
And I think it's something that right now, every other demographic is really expressing their identity and expressing their desire to, you know, have laws passed in certain ways that will respect those identities.
And I think that it's one of those things where we're just living in this multi-ethnic, multi-racial, multi-religious state.
And we're pretty much the only ones not doing that nowadays.
And it's really happening, I think, to our own detriment.
So I think that it's something that we want to make sure that we do really professionally.
We have looked kind of over to some of the groups in Europe that we've seen out there that have really been pushing back a lot against what the establishment has been doing, the way they've been running the countries out there with this massive, you could I would like to call it an invasion.
I can't really honestly call it a migrant crisis.
This is really, in a way, an orchestrated invasion, and the people running the nations out there are really just allowing this to happen.
I believe the chaos that's ensuing to further benefit them.
So these are the issues that your organization interests itself with.
Certainly, obviously.
I didn't do it.
And I think we were making mention of this in the restaurant when we spoke briefly before we went on the air this evening.
And there's no doubt that there's a lot of them.
I mean, there's a lot of college-age kids that want a free lunch and they're lining up with Bernie.
But talk about the things you're seeing in your organization with the younger demographics coming over to race realism and identitarianism, as you would call it.
Well, there really has been a massive shift, especially within the last couple years, because I started putting myself out there a couple years ago and started doing a lot of networking, just utilizing the internet to meet people.
And I would have to say there's just been this huge culture shift because the millennials and the younger kids are really just watching all this stuff unfolding, whether it was Ferguson or the, you know, the invasion of Europe.
And they're seeing this live on the internet, just watching it happen.
And they're realizing that the future that we're going to have isn't necessarily going to be a good one unless we start, you know, advocating for our own interests.
And I think that – Well, I was just going to say, you're certainly very much at the tip of the spear with regards to people who are galvanizing the younger folks.
And you're saying that this message is beginning to resonate in a very big way with millennials and people in their 20s and in their college years, correct?
Yeah, certainly.
And something we've really seen is that, like, we just launched about two months ago, and about the average age of the person we're pulling in is probably about 26.
Incredible.
And we're getting, I would have to say about 90% of the people who apply for our organization are either college educated or in college right now.
It's just phenomenal the quality people we're getting.
And many of these people have said six months ago, a year ago, they had completely different views.
So this is a very recent thing and a very big shift that's happening and it's very exciting.
And talking about college-age students, you were part of an effort that took the battle to the enemy to one of their citadels.
You were at the University of California at Berkeley for an in-your-face race realist event.
Yeah, well, last week.
It was certainly, I mean, we didn't want to so much be in students' faces and yell at them.
No, it wasn't in your face in that regard, but it was, you know, this is who we are.
This is what we're going to talk about.
We have the freedom to talk about these issues.
Yeah, we wanted to get out there and let people see us, let them ask us questions.
I mean, anything they want to talk about, we set up a safe space to talk about race.
And I'm sure you've probably talked about that enough on your show.
And we really just kind of use that to say, hey, you know, we want to talk about our issues.
And there's been a lot of issues in the past with many of these groups, especially Antifa, which claim that they're against, you know, suppression and oppression and things like that.
but then they'll come out very violently and try to suppress our voice and our ideas.
So we kind of use that in a way to, you know, just get in there.
I loved it because it took a little bit of moxie and flair and panache to, I mean, pay attention, you know, folks, if you're not aware of this, we're talking about his group going and having this public forum in what a courtyard.
It was in a public square at the University of California, Berkeley, which is probably, I mean, that's behind enemy lines if there ever was one, Keith.
And if the video is still available, you can watch Nathan and Richard Spencer, and they're just talking so articulately.
And there's just no way anybody could reasonably find anything objectionable to the way you presented these issues so carefully and so responsibly.
And this is what it's going to take.
It's going to take our people, you know, I love what's going on on Twitter.
I love what's going on on the internet, but we're going to have to take that action to the streets as well.
And doing it at a place like Berkeley, if you can do it there and come out better for it on the other side, this message can be taken anywhere.
Certainly.
Yeah.
And we just want to keep doing it again and again and again and just keep growing our organization.
After we did it, there was Red Ice Radio actually live streamed via Facebook.
That's where I saw it.
Thousands of people were watching it, which is really amazing.
It really just, you know, for the last several weeks since we did that, I've just had so many members I've been trying to process.
Courage.
People are just wanting something.
You get somebody that's willing to be up front and be courageous, and that will breed courage in other people.
Courage is contagious just as cowardice is contagious.
And so when people show courage, other people will show courage as well.
Before we run out of time, I want to be sure to give you the opportunity to plug your website, plug your organization, let people know how they can find more about you, read more about you, because of course this is your debut appearance on the program.
And so perhaps they have not heard about you yet and how they can perhaps even join your group.
Definitely.
Well, our website is identityeuropa.com.
Spell that out.
Do you spell it with the U or the V?
Well, we have both of the URLs.
So there's not going to be any hard time finding it.
And you can type it into a Google search engine and you're going to find us pretty easily.
So Identity Europa, a lot of times we have the V instead of the U, which is kind of an older way of spelling it.
Romanesque.
Yeah, we like to add a little bit of flair in there.
So yeah, and if you're interested, we have great educational resources that can be shared, links to videos and articles and also books that we recommend reading.
So in part, we are an educational organization.
But at the same time, we are a membership organization and really work as a fraternity to help start building networks across the country in which people, like-minded people, can get together in a safe setting where they know that everyone else understands where they're coming from and can really just get together and try to come up with ways that we can continue to push back, especially in the more local areas.
And so if anyone's interested in joining, they can just scroll about halfway down the page.
There's a join us button.
They can click on that and fill out an application.
Identity Europa, what's the old saying?
Let a thousand roses bloom.
It's a new organization, but it's an organization.
And we've already got it pulled up over here on the iPad.
How about that?
And so it's very encouraging what's going on.
It's delivered in the right temperament and the presentation's sharp.
And, you know, equally important is our physical appearance and how we project ourselves in our dress and in our physical appearance.
And of course, y'all have got that locked down as well.
And as anybody looks up Nathan D'AMigo on Twitter, and he does a great job on Twitter too.
And all of these Twitter, the followings on Twitter, everybody's got thousands of followers.
That really creates a snowball effect.
So, Nathan D'AMigo is the name, and check him out at Identity Europa.
Ladies and gentlemen, I don't ask, I might not ask this of everyone tonight, but for the group in the room, what a talented young man.
Thank you.
Doing a good job.
All right.
Thanks for sitting with us for a while.
Thanks for having me on.
You're very welcome.
And we'll be back, ladies and gentlemen, after the break.
Stay tuned.

HerbalHealer.com Healing the world with nature One person at a time Since 1988 Welcome back To get on the show, call us on James's Dime at 1-866-986-6397.
All right, folks, well, we are having an outstanding evening tonight, broadcasting live from the 2016 American Renaissance Conference.
The conference is reaching its climax with the dinner banquet about to be served here in about 15 minutes if you're listening live.
And then Ramsey Paul is going to be the keynote speaker.
It has just been an incredible and wonderful energy and atmosphere here.
But we don't forget our own team and our own team members.
The show goes on as it would any other week.
So we're going to take a quick momentary departure from our coverage of the conference to toss it over to our Washington, D.C. correspondent, Peter Scoop Stanton.
Scoop, take it away.
Thank you, James, and thank you, Amrin.
Here's an idea for next year's conference.
Have James Edwards talk about whatever is on his mind, and then have Sean Bergen talk about race in the media.
And then have none other than Jim Lancia talk about race and policing.
What do you think about that idea, Mr. Edwards?
I think money can buy a lot of things.
You know, we just will grease the skids for Jared and see what happens.
But I would tell you, you know, Lancy and Bergen would be interesting to hear, you know, from the perspective of the media and from the perspective of policing.
And, of course, we had that incredible hour last week during the third hour during which, once again, a special presentation of sorts where Sean Bergen, former television newsman, interviewing Jim Lancia, former police officer in Bridgeport, Connecticut, about race, politics, the media, and associated topics.
So that was something that really only the political assessable could have put on.
And the political assessbook could have only put it on because of Scoop, who brought both of those men to our attention.
So thank you for doing that, Scoop, and for organizing that.
You gave up your spot last week because they were taking up an hour.
So we didn't hear from you last week.
But I did thank you on the air for making those arrangements and pitching that idea to me to put those two in tandem and pair them up and let them go after it for an hour.
And it was great radio, real strong feedback from the audience on that segment.
But what do you got for us tonight?
All right.
First, as usual, we've got to remember those killed in the line of duty.
First is Anthony T.J. Freeman, Bibb County Sheriff's Office in Georgia, and also David Glassner in the Phoenix Police Department.
But for those people there's naysayers say that there's no war on cops or the war on cops overexaggerated, well, in Maricopa County, Arizona, a sheriff's office substation was shot up.
Fortunately, the bulletproof glass at the entrance saved deputies' lives.
So unlike most chief law enforcement officers for different agencies, Sheriff Joe Arpario, who never mentioned words, he is hot.
So the guy was in custody, and he says it's not going to happen on his watch.
Now for the war on the public restroom.
Last week, President Obama had the U.S. Department of Education tell all the public schools that they must let the students use whatever restrooms they want as they self-identify their own genders.
In short, boys can use the girls' restroom.
Here's my simple argument.
Children can't buy a car, buy alcohol, cigarettes, firearms, rent a hotel room, vote, enlist, or be by themselves.
And they can't even decide what they want for dinner or what they want to be when they grow up.
So, let alone saying they're a boy or a girl.
But kudos to President Obama as the world around us just fallen right to hell.
And he's worried about boys and girls using the same restroom, which makes me wonder what's going on inside his head because we have don't ask, don't tell, openly gay people serve in the military.
So that makes me wonder.
Sean Bergen gave me an idea about what type of lifestyle Mr. Obama leads, which he says is alternate.
Back to trainees in the bathroom.
Retail giant Target, who has a policy to let trainees use the female restroom, has lost an estimated $6 billion.
That's a billion with a B in terms of Stock value and lots of customers to Walmart, Steers, Amazon, and just people just set that up.
But there is a hero in the bathroom war.
Francine Jones made headlines where she talks about a Mr. Ebony Belcher out of a women's restroom at a Washington, D.C. giant supermarket.
Jones also threw out Mr. Belcher from the store and was arrested for some broad salt.
Ms. Jones simply refused to let a man in a ladies' restroom.
James, back to you.
Scoop, thank you so much for the commentary.
And, of course, I made mention of that in my remarks today, I mean, with regards to the media.
You know, do you really want for the people who believe that cross-dressing men should share the bathroom with little girls to have a favorable opinion of you?
I mean, you know, that's company you really don't want to keep.
So whatever they're for, you need to be the opposite of that.
And thank you for your contribution tonight.
We would keep you your whole normal segment as usual, but it is a special event tonight.
We've got one hit maker after another lined up to come on the program.
But Scoop, we'll look forward to hearing back from you next week back to normal scheduling and I guess the normal format, I guess I should say.
Thank you for calling in tonight, Scoop.
We really appreciate it.
No problem.
All right.
Have a good one.
All right.
Well, I'll tell you.
I talked a little bit about making some news back in March.
There's a man across the table from me right now that has been making news that made mine look like a blip on the radar.
Bill Johnson, chairman of the American Freedom Party.
I'm telling you, there's just one star after another.
You just run into star after star here.
And, of course, the speaking lineup was pretty much star-studded.
But just going out and Don Wassell just walked into the room.
I mean, everywhere you turn, there is a leader of pretty significant importance.
And Bill Johnson had been selected, of course, as a delegate for Donald Trump out of California.
And the media didn't like that very much, did they, Bill?
Oh, that's correct.
I thought that I could do a good job being supporting Trump, going to Cleveland, and show that nationalists can really be, show how nationalists can really be good members of the political establishment.
And the community at large.
Yes.
Society, humanity.
And so I was a delegate in good standing for two hours because then the media came on hard and heavy, and so then I resigned.
But that created a large, I guess, a tempest really in a teapot because it wasn't a big deal.
It wasn't a story.
But they tried to make it into a story.
And so it's okay.
I won't be going to Cleveland, but I'll watch it on TV.
Well, you certainly got your money's worth out of the press, though.
I mean, how many interviews would you say you did over the course of the last two weeks?
Oh, probably 50 with various newspapers and magazines and radio and TV.
And it was really covered in the entire world.
And I've done, I guess the last one I did was on Thursday.
It was a Danish magazine, and they did a long expose and just a summary of what I've been doing.
And then I have one more BBC interview coming up, but that's basically it.
It's died down now.
Now, you are a newsworthy individual, but this situation was not newsworthy at all.
Why shouldn't a professional in good standing, someone who is a law-abiding citizen, a good guy, all-around good guy, because he takes common sense positions on issues that have been relegated to the taboo by our societal overlords, therefore you become this toxic guy that can't even go to a convention that you've been duly selected to attend?
It's incredible.
Well, the Danish newspaper reporter that talked to me, he gave a good perceptive on this.
He says that he covered the presidential campaign four years ago between Mitt Romney and Obama.
He says it was just a sleeper.
But because of Donald Trump, absolutely everything, every facet about his candidacy generates intense media interest.
And the reason he said the media is interested is because the public is interested in absolutely every aspect of it.
So the fact that a white nationalist became a delegate, that in itself was big news.
Why?
Because it's Trump.
Why?
Because everything involving Trump, everybody wants to read about that.
No one wants to read about anything else in the political scene.
So that's what drives the media.
Well, they manufactured it into a story.
There's no doubt about that.
They sensationalized it.
It all and they made it fit for a circus, and you know.
But again, knowing you, knowing you personally, knowing kind of man you are, I mean Donald Trump would have been well served having you there as well.
Thank you very much.
But you also have to realize that when you put these things out on the internet, that there's such an intense interest that the hits are are in the hundreds of thousands, whereas if you have something that is truly a story, the hits will be in the tens of thousands.
So you say that was media manufactured.
But the media is doing what the, what the public wants to watch, so the the public wanted.
Well, I want to tell you the media needs to keep on doing what they're doing with regards to Trump, because they have put him number one with a bullet with regards to his candidacy.
You know, if they think that they're hurting Trump with all of this outlandish yellow journalism, he took over the Republican Party in less than a year.
He's already tied Hillary in the polls.
As I said, I don't even think the general election is going to be competitive.
If they think they're hurting him by trying to smear him and smear people like us who support him and tie him.
To us it doesn't seem to be working on an electoral basis.
Well, I don't think that their main purpose is to hurt them.
I think their main purpose is to create interest in their particular media, the journalists that write the article.
They want more people to watch them.
So it's kind of a capitalistic tendency.
I think maybe a secondary.
You say they're doing it just because it's going to sell papers or this is going to be a story that they think.
Well, the reporter himself gets a lot of accolades if his story is well read.
So that's the main purpose.
The second purpose is maybe their underlying political agenda that runs counter to Donald Trump.
You think it's dollars and cents.
Mostly they want the clicks, they want the hits on the website that.
You know they're going to scream with this crazy headline that's, you know, bizarre and and makes it look like a sideshow.
And then they're going to write, well, because nationalism and racial issues is a big component in America and that Donald Trump is a big component.
So when they combine those two together, it's much more interesting.
I could see that.
Sure, I could see that.
You know, of course they're totally against us ideologically speaking, but you know, if it helps them sell a few more papers to have this, this wild story, and that's why Donald Trump cannot be defeated in November, because he will continue to take these positions.
He will continue to get massive media coverage and slowly over time the general public will come to support him and that's why I agree with you it's going to be a runaway landslide for Donald Trump.
We'll find out in November if we were right or wrong.
Bill Johnson everybody check out his party American Freedom Party and you'll be reading about Bill in the newspaper near you.
Just keep looking.
He's everywhere this year and very few people have made as a substantial impact as Bill has with all of his different endeavors and initiatives over the course of the last few months.
Bill, thanks for sitting with us.
Thank you.
We'll be back with a second hour right after this gang.
Stay tuned.
