Time Text
You're listening to the Liberty News Radio Network, and this is the Political Cesspool.
The Political Cesspool, known across the South and worldwide as the South's foremost populist conservative radio program.
And here to guide you through the murky waters of the Political Cesspool is your host, James Edwards.
Welcome back to the third and final hour tonight, the live broadcast for Saturday evening, April the 23rd.
Now, we did, I guess you could say an hour on things related to Lincoln's War or Confederate History Month in the second hour.
And we're going to do another half hour on it this hour, and then Eddie DeMometer Miller and I are going to tackle a couple of other non-Confederate-related topics as we close out the hour tonight.
And then, of course, next week, we'll wrap up our annual series, the last week of April.
But joining us now is one of our very good friends, a man whose commercials you've heard every week for years and years now, Scott Goldsmith, the owner of Dixie Republic, the South's largest Confederate store.
A little background on Scott.
From an early age, he wholeheartedly embraced his Southern heritage.
His Presbyterian Scott's Irish ancestors arrived in the South and fought in the American Revolution.
After the war, they settled in the upcountry of South Carolina, and later, all 16 of Scott's great-great-grandfathers fought for the South, for the Confederacy.
His is a proud heritage, never to be forgotten, but always celebrated.
Scott, welcome to the show.
Well, it's very good to have you.
I hope you're coming through loud and clear.
You sounded a little bit soft there.
We'll see if our engineer can correct that.
But listen, it's entirely our honor, Scott, because, you know, you do such good work with your business.
And of course, at least on two occasions in the last year, items from Dixie Republic have been used as part of our incentive packages that we send to the donors.
And we've received such great reviews for your products, including the t-shirts that went out just a few days ago that should have all been delivered by now to those here domestically.
Tell us a little bit about your vision and how Dixie Republic came to be.
Well, it started about 13 years ago, maybe about two years before y'all came on air, and was just tired of hearing about how terrible our Southern culture and Southern heritage was and wanted to have a way to fight back and make a living and get our Southern symbols out to the public at the same
time.
time.
So I came up with the idea of the store and it has over the years, it's, I'm happy to say and thankful to say it's been a success.
Well, nobody's happier about that than us, and we hope that our audience, as we continue to celebrate Confederate History Month, but really the year-round, we'll keep Dixie Republic in mind, DixieRepublic.com.
Now, this isn't just a promo piece.
We're having Scott on for a reason, but I truly want to push that.
Remember, birthdays, holidays, but especially during April, that's where you need to be going for a variety of Southern themed merchandise.
And we'll tell you a little bit about that variety in a second.
But more background on Dixie Republic.
It's, as we mentioned, the South's largest Confederate store.
Scott started it in 2003 and it took off.
He rebuilt it to resemble a log cabin, and that's its current what it looks like at DixieRepublic.com.
5,000 square foot of Confederate merchandise and traveler's rest rest, South Carolina, just outside of Greensville, South Carolina, Greenville, South Carolina.
Stock to the floor, to the ceiling with items that celebrate and promote the South and the Confederacy.
And Scott, you know, we mentioned a second ago, you had 16 great, great, great-grandfathers that fought for the South.
Everybody in your family fought for the South.
Do you think you're making them proud?
Well, I try to.
I sure want to.
And, you know, really, any Southerner whose parents, whose mother and father were born in the South and who's native to the South, really, their story is probably very similar to mine.
Of course, everyone has 16 great-great-grandfathers.
And if your mother and father are from the South, more than likely, if you delve into your ancestry, you may be pleasedly surprised as I was.
And you'll see that all your ancestors fought for the South, too.
Who else were they going to fight for?
Well, they all did their duty back then, unlike their descendants today.
And of course, Eddie and I are both very proud to descend from the Confederate line, billineal descendants, and Keith and really our whole staff here.
It's just something I wouldn't trade for anything.
It is a birthright.
It is a cause for pride.
And I wouldn't have it any other way.
Scott, what do you make of some of these Southerners today that you run into, particularly in the leadership of the Southern Baptist Church, for instance, who not only disrespect their ancestors, but actively fight against everything that they held dear, which is 100% congruent with the Christian faith?
What do you make of these people?
That's a tough question.
It's hard to understand.
Maybe it's like what your previous guest was just talking about, that they've just been institutionalized with their education and that the educational system is so stacked against us.
The media is so stacked against us.
It's 24-7 to our people how we should be ashamed of our ancestors.
They have, they drank that Kool-Aid.
And that's, I think, where they're coming from.
And they've been taught by the church, who they like to listen to the church, that perhaps, you know, the farther you bend over, the more of a Christian you are.
And from my reading of the Bible, I don't see it that way.
You know, maybe perhaps instead they should turn the television off and should open a book.
I think that would help them more than anything.
I couldn't agree with you more, and I really like the way you put that.
But it's because of these people that when you do find healthy, able-bodied, right-thinking Southerners, you feel such a kinship.
And that's actually something that's on your website.
You know, of course, you're doing your part to keep the true memory of Dixie alive.
And visitors to your store, either online or in South Carolina, can do that too.
And you write on your website how you get thanked all the time for your commitment to continue to fly the flag and to provide an outlet, a store where your customers could feel a kinship with like-minded, proud Southerners.
Tell us a little bit more about the reaction you get and the support you receive, not just monetarily, but in the moral support you receive from people who walk in those doors there, Traveler's Rest.
Well, I really do.
It's really amazing.
You know, if someone could just come in the store and spend the day with me, I mean, they would see.
It's a daily phases type thing where people come in, they want to support the storm, and they feel right at home in this they've never been in before.
And they tell me that they want to live with a lot of victims.
Hold on right there, Scott.
And folks, you can help that become the case.
DixieRepublic.com.

And now back to tonight's show.
One more segment with Scott Goldsmith, and then we've got a couple other bag of topics, I guess, the last half of this hour, and then we'll be back with you next week, as always.
But Scott is the owner of Dixie Republic.
You can check it out online, DixieRepublic.com.
Again, ladies and gentlemen, keep in mind that beautiful t-shirt, if you donated $100 or more in March, that beautiful t-shirt that you received a few days ago was made possible thanks to Scott at Dixie Republic.
He came up with that design himself.
And as we continue to celebrate Confederate History Month, we ask you to consider doing a little shopping at Dixie Republic's online store.
They're your one-stop shop for clothing, caps, belt buckles, patches, flags.
You can't get enough Confederate flags up and out there in this day and age.
T-shirts, license plates, a lot of miscellaneous items such as mugs and stickers and Zippo lighters, etc.
Every customer, happy customer at Dixie Republic.
And I bet you had a lot of customers last summer, Scott, when the War Against All Things Southern went nuclear.
We certainly did.
Everything went nuclear this past summer, and I guess for us it was a good thing.
We hate that our, well, I shouldn't say our, but the governor of South Carolina decided to take the Confederate flag down from the Confederate Memorial in Columbia State House.
And a lot of people in South Carolina were upset about it.
So she took down that one flag and 15,000 others went up.
Amen.
And here, here.
I know, Eddie, you've been listening and ready for Scott as well.
And you like his shirt.
You know, Scott sent you that t-shirt that said, come and take it, had the Confederate flag with a rifle on it.
And you wore that at one of the videos we did at Nathan Bedford Forest Park during one of the weekly desecrations of his grave.
I most certainly did wear that shirt.
Scott, Eddie Miller here, Eddie the Bombardier Miller.
Yeah, we've been following you for a long time, and I guess you've been following us for quite a while.
You mentioned, you know, you've been around for about 13 years.
I think we've been around about 11 years.
We had our 10th political cesspool anniversary birthday party last October.
But yeah, you know, I was going to ask, I've got a couple of comments, but I was going to ask you, how do you feel about the Southern Baptist Commission now?
You know, Russell Moore, we're always slamming Russell Moore, rightfully so.
They just said that if you can't have, if you're a Southern Baptist, you can't have an American flag, excuse me, a Confederate flag.
You can't even have a Confederate flag in your house.
Even if you have a Confederate flag in your house, you're not going to be welcome inside a Baptist church.
Well, I mean, we're paraphrasing.
I mean, that was basically the gist of it, was that you shouldn't even have them in private because it may offend, you know, somebody.
You know, every time Obama comes out with another tirade against guns, I'm kind of, I'm tying these two together.
Every time he comes out and starts talking about banning the Second Amendment and stuff, the gun sales go through the roof.
I'm just wondering if the Southern Baptist Convention comes out attacking the Confederate battle flags.
I wonder if the sales of your flags, I wonder if they're going to go through the roof.
They probably just made, and we are tied.
There's a lot of similarity there when Obama did something against guns or people feel like the United States government's getting ready to do something regarding our right to own weapons, the sale of guns go up.
And that's what happened to us with the flag when the governor of South Carolina decided to do what she did.
Ourselves skyrocketed.
And with what the Southern Baptists are doing, the same will hold true.
There's still a core group of Southerners who can see through this.
And what it does is it just infuriates them and aggravates them.
And instead of following their lead, they're going to go completely against it.
And it'll make a lot of, it'll wake up a lot of people and a lot of Southerners and non-Southerners as well.
That's a key point.
That's a key point because, you know, we get emails from all over the world.
And even here in this country, obviously, from well beyond the borders of Dixie, from people who look forward to our Confederate History Month series every year.
You know, with the way the government's going, Scott, I think you would agree we're all Southerners now.
Amen.
We're all under Reconstruction now.
And you know, Scott, well before the governor of South Carolina did her shenanigans there, we had the infamous Lou Holt.
I wouldn't walk across the street to see Lou Holtz if he was coaching the Super Bowl.
But, you know, Lou Holtz, if memory served, did a big infamous march against the Confederate battle flag, you know, when he was the football coach up there at the South Carolina Gamecocks, you know.
And I'll tell you what, I'm proud.
I just ought to throw that in there.
I was just telling James, it's only, it's dawned on me probably in the past year.
I've always been probably the most combative member of the Cesspool, but it's really dawned on me in the past year that I don't think I've taken our the cesspool's responsibility to educate our fellow white southerners and our fellow, you know, southerners, I've always told the people of the cesspool, the southern really is a state of mind.
You know, you can live, you can live.
We have a lot of people in New York that are just as that are more southern than some of the people right here.
That means something to have the blood, but you're right.
I mean, anybody could be a sympathizer.
Anybody can be right thinking.
Like the Copperhead, for instance.
We got Matthew.
Sure, well, that's what we're talking about.
There are a lot.
But you know, I'm sure Scott gets a lot of people from outside the South.
But, you know, that's how I take our responsibility now here greatly as an educator.
We need to be educators.
I don't know how much more we can do.
That's what I'm saying.
Yeah, well, I take that role more responsible now than ever.
And I'm just glad, you know, that people, although Scott may not be on the radio, it's like we are educating people, but he's still hanging tough with our great Confederate symbolism.
Well, that's the thing.
One thing about this show, we do educate, but we also let people know and remind people that there is a community out there that the media is never going to tell you about of great people around the world that are doing good things.
And we try to highlight some.
And one of them tonight is obviously Scott.
And his store is so important.
I just wish there were stores like this in every southern town, just like in every little small town square.
You got throughout Dixie, you got these Confederate monuments.
We need stores like Scott everywhere.
We need these people wearing these items and showing their defiance just as their Confederate forebears would have.
Again, folks, DixieRepublic.com is the store.
You can go there if you're in Travelers Rest, South Carolina, near Greenville, or just buy online, DixieRepublic.com.
So many beautiful items.
I mean, just great designs, top shelf stuff.
Scott, let me ask you two unrelated questions if we could.
You know, you're listening to this show for years and years.
And throughout the years, when we've done this series, we try to shine the light on a few heroes and some of our favorite stories about the South.
Who would you say?
Now, this is an impossible question to answer.
Your favorite Southern hero and why?
Well, that's a good question.
I would have to say Nathan Bedford Forrest would be, I think, my hero.
He started from started as a private.
He was a self-made man.
West Point didn't influence him.
He wasn't a West Point man.
He did more than any other Confederate general could dream of.
And I'd have to go with Nathan Bedford Forrest.
Certainly, you know, we're millions where he's Robert E. Lee did the same.
Robert E. Lee went with Nathan Bedford Forrest after the war.
Lee said that Nathan Bedford Forrest was the greatest general that either side had.
And imagine a compliment like that coming from someone like Lee.
Who, I mean, my goodness.
You know, Scott, I'm sure you know that where we're sitting in our radio station right here, we could be at the monument.
We can be at the burial site of the great general Nathan Bedford Forrest probably within a half hour if the traffic hitting bad.
In fact, me and James have gone down there many a day.
We have our photographs all over our website, the political suspicion website.
Me and James are going down there waving Confederate battle flags in the peril of our own life, I may add.
And that's no exaggeration.
And we were talking about that.
Let me tell you this, Eddie.
We had a portrait of Nathan Bedford Forrest in the store.
And we sold it to a couple from the Cayman Islands.
Wow, how about y'all?
Hey, well, folks, that's all the time we've got for Scott tonight.
But he is one of just our biggest supporters, and we want you to support him.

Thanks again to our guests this evening, Mike Gaddy and Scott Foldsmith, DixieRepublic.com.
You know, Scott has told me on a few occasions that every so often, people vacationing in South Carolina will drive out of their way to find Dixie Republic and go into the store and make some purchases just because they've heard about it on this radio program.
And we're very thankful to those of you who have done that and all of you who have made orders online.
Scott did not ask me to do that, and that was not a quid pro quo.
We didn't have him on to promote the store tonight because he's been generous to us or there's some sort of a deal in place.
That was something I wanted to do because he's a great man.
He's got a great business.
And I want people out there who love the South like I do to support the people out there who love the South and get some great merchandise while you're doing it and send your business to Scott at DixieRepublic.com.
Also want to say hello to Robert from Scotland who sent me an email earlier.
He wanted me to also say hello to his friends, the Vagabond and the Hillbilly.
That's our audience.
That's the people we love.
Almost like the Copperhead.
Yeah, absolutely.
Everybody's the.
Signifying that they are the only one or they are the one out of all of the others.
And that's the kind of people we want.
We want the best of everybody.
Okay, so, I mean, this thing with the transgender, transvestite stuff, we're going to talk about this.
Eddie and I were trying to make sense.
I mean, you can't make sense of it.
We were talking about it before the show tonight.
You were going to say something first, though, Eddie?
Yeah, I would like to just chime in and say, I'd kind of like a piggyback on what I said in the last segment about us taking this about me.
You know, I have never belittled our role in the past.
What you're saying is, but I'm taking it more seriously.
You're the bombardier.
You're the hot, not the hothead, but you're the one that likes to bonk some heads.
You like to go out and you like to, well, I mean, obviously not fight people, obviously, but I mean, you are more in your face and flamethrower.
Let's just say that.
The rhetorical flamethrower.
Well, we have to educate.
And I'd like to also add, I think we need to probably do more of that and maybe get some more scholar zoned.
But also, I'd like to add one little thing to show you just how corrupt the world is and the government was, what the South went through.
And me and Keith talked about this during the break, about the bankers, the same bankers that financed the South financed the North.
And I think I might have brought this back up a week or two ago.
But see, at the end, the bankers didn't really care who won.
They didn't care at all because they knew that whoever won the war would owe them, would be beholden to them because both sides had to borrow heavily, had to borrow heavily from the bankers.
And this is how vicious they were.
Even after the South was laid prostrate and defeated, see, these same bankers were demanding that the South make good the bonds they had to sell to the bankers.
For instance, the South was selling these bonds, just say for $100.
Well, close to the end of the war, these bonds were selling for 10 cents on the dollar.
These bankers would come in and buy up the bonds, 10 cents on the dollar, and they expected the Union Army to come in and force the South to cough that up, to come up and buy those bonds back.
James, the same thing happened in the First World War when France, and I'm going to make this real short, but there's a great parallel between the both wars.
France and England were getting their brains beat out.
I mean, the Germans were just beating their brains out.
They were losing the war.
They were going broke.
They did go broke.
And so what they had to do, they had to come a calling to the United States and they had to sell their bonds.
They had to sell bonds to the United States government via J.P. Morgan and company and all the international Jewish bankers here in America.
They negotiated the bonds.
They were the brokers between England, France, and America.
Okay, they sold the bonds.
Okay, even, okay, then the war started getting even worse.
And it was a sure thing that England and France were going to lose.
There's no doubt, no doubt about it.
So what they did is, this is how evil they were.
They had to get the United States into the war.
That was the only way they were going to win.
They had to get America in because they were getting their brains beat out.
So what they did, they sent, and we talked about the Lusitania before, with Churchill on board.
Churchill, he engineered the ship, the Lusitania, being sent into waters where they were knowing, where they knew that German U-boats were there like a wolf pack.
They sent the Lusitania into these waters where the submarines were, German submarines were, with a destroyer escort.
But when they got out there in the kill zone, Churchill had the British Admiralty to withdraw the destroyer escorts.
It was a certainty they were going to sink the ship.
The Lusitania had Americans on board.
They had many Americans on board.
Churchill knew that that would inflame the poor, ignorant Americans.
And here's the thing.
And the reason they were so desperate to get the United States in the war to save them, it wasn't because their lives were being destroyed.
It was because the J.P. Morgans, the Jewish bankers of the world that had bought these bonds, knew that when England and France lost the war, their bonds would be worthless.
That's why they guys into the war.
It wasn't to end all wars.
It wasn't to save democracy.
It was to save those bonds.
And I'll shut up.
It just goes to show that all war is fought over money.
When it gets down to money and Japan and domination, it's not fought for ideals and principles, especially not a war fought by America.
America is not a good country.
Now, I love this country.
And our people are good people, some of them.
Our government is evil and criminally corrupt.
And that's just all there is to it.
Our government is absolutely degenerate.
And it wasn't just the Lusitania, although that was a big one.
They also manipulated Japan to attack Pearl Harbor.
They wanted it to happen.
They knew it was going to happen before it happened.
They knew that it was going to happen.
And not only did they make money on the bonds, the Jewish bankers, as soon as they sold their bonds to the United States, that's when the Federal Reserve was put in.
It's one of the reasons they were put in.
As soon as they sold their bonds, England and France got their money.
Well, they come back to the United States to buy their war goods.
Well, guess who the brokers were for their war goods?
The same Jewish bankers, the J.P. Morgans, you know, they were the Rothschilds.
They were the ones that brokers to buy and selling all the war goods.
And Germany did business with these same banks.
They were financing both sides, as they always do.
All right, so anyway.
I'll chime that in.
Well, the point that the relevance of that is the South wasn't fawed over.
You know, 600,000 people didn't die to free Harriet Tubman.
They just didn't.
And look, slavery, you know, no one here is advocating for slavery.
No one here is in favor of slavery.
Our people ended slavery.
And it was on its way out in the South, and it would have been out on this continent like it is in the rest of the world, except for the non-white countries that still practice it.
It would have ended inevitably.
You didn't need 600,000 people to short-circuit it by a few years, and that's not why the war was fought.
Anyway, but look at where we're at now.
Can you imagine going back and even telling a degenerate in a tyrant like Abraham Lincoln that we would have the day where men pretending to be women can go use the bathroom and the entire media and the American government is behind this as if it's some sort of a righteous moral crusade?
I mean, you know, imagine telling that to Robert E. Lee.
How could you even explain that to a real man or even any normal person?
You know, Winston Smith wrote this.
You may be shocked to learn that peeping perverts have taken advantage of the trannies and toilets legislation.
The Marxists, progressives, liberals, and Democrats swore this wouldn't happen, and they still claim it's not going on.
But when you show them the evidence, they stick their fingers in their ears and chatter loudly to drown you out.
But they know it's happening.
They knew it would.
When something awful takes place in these bathrooms, when you're talking about these perverts going in there, these mentally ill people, the mentally ill at best, perverts at worst.
Let me put it that way.
But when they go in there and they assault a normal person, I hope that legal remedies are sought against the degenerates who made this possible.
You know, just like how the liberals want to make you able to sue gun manufacturers when someone uses their legal product to carry out a crime.
Winston put in this little, highlight this.
For those of you who may not have noticed, the political cesspool logo is a men's restroom symbol wearing an Uncle Sam hat.
Join me in demanding that our corporate office never change it no matter what laws are passed.
Now, the list of washed-up entertainers who refuse to play in states, that would be Mississippi and North Carolina, who won't allow men into women's restrooms continues to grow.
You see, this is where Winston's piece gets really interesting.
They're exercising their right not to associate people with whom they disagree.
They fear that playing their songs in those states could be construed as supporting laws and ideas they think are bad.
They like having that freedom, the freedom to not do business with people they don't like.
But they don't like you to have that same freedom.
They don't like for bakers and photographers and wedding chapel owners to have the same freedom of discrimination that they are taking for themselves by refusing to do business in Mississippi and North Carolina.
I wonder if a group of North Carolinans could file a class action lawsuit, a federal suit against all entertainers and businesses who are staying away from and pulling out of the state.
It's now established law that a business cannot refuse to serve someone because they disagree with their deeply held beliefs, right?
So you see again, Eddie, the double standard.
And as we were talking about on the phone earlier, and as I made mention of even earlier in tonight's live broadcast, the way America is being run now, you don't need a president.
You don't need Congress.
You don't need state houses.
You don't need any government.
All you need is a few CEOs, maybe Mark Zuckerberg from Facebook and Target and these people, and they can just dictate what the legislation is going to be because these state governments, including right here in Tennessee, which is about as right-wing evangelical as you can get, are just rolling over and losing every time.
And it's what Dabney said would be exactly what would happen.
And we're going to cover that more after the break.

And as we said, why do we even vote?
Know that these governments are just going to roll over.
State governments, federal government is going to roll over for the latest innovation of the radical egalitarians.
And, you know, Dabney mentioned the conservative alternative is just the shadow that follows the leftist agenda into perdition.
It never really seeks to oppose it.
It just growls a little bit and then acquiesces to whatever these Marxists are doing.
And the same things are going on in the churches as well these days.
Let me read this from Target.
Target, you know, the national chain.
Inclusivity.
This is a statement from Target.
Inclusivity is a core belief at Target.
It's something we celebrate.
We stand for equality and equity.
I don't even know what that means.
And strive to make our guests and team members feel accepted, respected, and welcomed in our stores and workplaces every day.
We believe that everyone, every team member, every guest in every community deserves to be protected from discrimination and treated equally.
Consistent with this belief, Target supports the Federal Equality Act, which provides protections to LGBT individuals and opposes action that enables discrimination.
In our stores, we demonstrate our commitment to an inclusive experience in many ways.
Most relevant for the conversations currently underway, we welcome transgender guests to use restrooms or fitting rooms that corresponds with their gender identity.
You know, Orwell couldn't have even taken it this far.
I mean, look, again, I don't hate these people.
I'm not mad at them, but there's something wrong with them.
There is something wrong with them.
They're mentally ill or they're just perverts.
And this brings up another question, Eddie.
How do you even know if they're legitimately mentally ill or they're just pretending to be mentally ill so they can go in and take a peep show in?
And how does this gender identity work?
Can I wake up tomorrow if I see a bunch of cute college cheerleaders going in the bathroom and say, well, I feel like a woman today?
Is it something that you can turn off and on?
Is it something that kind of ebbs and flows?
I mean, these questions aren't being asked, and they can't be asked because just to ask them shows how absurd this whole discussion is.
But they hit you with the hammer.
If you oppose it, there's only one reason and one reason alone why you would possibly oppose it.
You hate us.
You're a bigot.
You're a racist.
You're a homophobe.
The only way anybody could oppose this is because of hate.
So we're not even going to have a conversation about it.
And we're not going to let you ask these questions that would just show it to be the disgusting joke that it is.
You know, me and you were talking earlier about that today, James.
We were talking about how they even injected it into the presidential debates.
Some clown asked Donald Trump the other day, you know, I think it was yesterday, how he felt about the North Carolina laws that have been passed to protect, you know, the little girls in their bathrooms and things.
And he kind of, I don't know, he kind of danced around the issue a little bit.
I think he's been snowballed by his handlers a little bit too much.
I think he should have come out stronger.
But, but, I mean, and me and James talked about what, what on earth is this question?
Why is this issue even in a presidential debate?
All the critical, all the critical issues we have in the world and here in the United States, and we're talking about, and James just nailed it.
He's absolutely right.
These people at best are mentally ill.
These so-called these trans people, I don't even know what the hell they are, but they don't know where they are.
At least we do know who we are here in the suspo.
But, you know, that would even come up.
It's just, it's crazy.
We don't even hardly know how to deal with it, but they are insane.
It hadn't been that many years ago.
If you were homosexual, you know, the mental, you know, the psychiatrist association.
As late as the 70s, it was classified by the American Psychiatric Association as a mental illness.
And here's another thing that needs to be asked that isn't being asked anywhere else.
Where are rights?
Where are the rights of the 15-year-old teenage girls?
I mean, what about she doesn't want to go in there with some dude six foot four and pardon the French home like a Missouri mule.
I mean, and coming in there and claiming he's identified as a female.
That is worse.
I think that's worse than insanity.
I think we have Satan working here, James.
All right, look.
I mean, it's satanic.
No, look, it has to be because, listen to this.
All right, so homosexuals themselves, which is a perversion, but it's far more common than this, but they still only represent single digits in terms of the overall population percentage, percentage of the overall population, I should say.
The people who really identify as transgender, you have to be looking at probably out of a nation of, what, 300 million, probably less than 100,000, maybe tens of thousands, statistically below zero.
I've never seen one.
I've never seen one register.
And you've got all of the national media, all of the political establishment, and all of these corporations bending over backwards to accommodate 0% of the population, statistically speaking.
And listen to this here in Tennessee.
Tennessee, the state government here has sponsored a bill.
Listen to how evil this bill is and how unsensible it is.
I mean, this is just really something that makes no sense to me.
Tennessee is sponsoring a bill that would require students in public schools to use the restroom on campus that corresponds with their sex at birth.
I mean, can you imagine something so outlandish as that?
You've got to go to the bathroom based upon your biological sex.
Well, that was the legislation that was proposed, Eddie.
I say was because opposition mounted businesses including Cigna, Hilton Hotels, Dow Chemical, et cetera, along with celebrities like Miley Cyrus, because, you know, we've got to make sure she's not offended.
They send in letters to the Tennessee state government.
You know what the Tennessee state government did?
We're going to take this off the docket right now so we can look into it a little more deeply, make sure.
So listen, listen, let me say this.
I'll give you the final word.
I'm reading from Hunter Wallace now, who wrote this in this beautiful.
I've never understood what has been called the so-called Reagan coalition.
It always struck me as the sucker coalition.
These social conservatives supply the Republican Party the votes it needs to win elections.
Once in power, the Republicans spend all their time pushing through their low-tax, free-market, pro-business economic agenda.
Then whatever issues like immigration, sodomite marriage, or religious liberty come up, big business consistently takes the side of the left and throws all of its economic weight behind the social justice warriors agenda.
Basically what he's saying here is the Republican Party does everything it can to accommodate big business, and then big business turns on the people who put the Republicans in power.
Now, it's not like Christians and conservatives are a powerless minority in Tennessee.
The voters in Tennessee have given complete control.
They have complete control over the state government.
Right here in Tennessee.
It's state government, James, just giving complete control over to these corporations.
Yeah.
I mean, you know, our people, white southerners, white Christians, white conservatives here in Tennessee own the state government, lock, stock, and barrel.
They elect who they want every time.
And what are they getting out of this?
Nothing.
Just like in Georgia, they have all the power in the state.
But these voters are incapable of even conserving the privacy of women's restrooms.
They don't want to represent the voters who elected them because doing so would anger powerful donors and business interests.
Are we the only people who see this?
You know what?
If they really want to be, if they do want to go along with this perversion, here's what they need.
They need a set of three bathrooms.
They need one for women who know their women and want to go use a restroom with other women.
They need one for men who know their men, like me and James and our men and audiences out there that can go use the men's restroom.
And they need another room for all these pervert, satanic people.
But how many of them go?
No one would ever go in that bathroom.
You're talking about a few thousand people out of the country.
I don't think that's much of an exaggeration or an understatement.
I've never seen one.
I'm 69 years old.
I have, but I mean, you know, look, I mean, they're not common, especially down here in the South.
But again, the whole country, the whole political, economic media establishments are bending over backwards for these people.
And again, I don't hate them.
I don't want to see them mistreated, but that is not denying them a basic right by forcing them to go into the bathroom that corresponds with their biological sex, which is assigned by God at birth.
It's just talking about this.
We were talking about, it just, it absolutely boggles our minds.
Me and James talked about this today.
How this very small minority, you have to go down to a decimal point, the very small minority, how they have so much power.
The only thing I can figure is this right here.
It's an all-out attack.
Well, they don't fail the power.
There's no doubt they do not have the power, but their sponsors do.
Well, the people who are backing them and using them as pawns in their agenda, they are pushing this culture of death, this anti-Christian, anti-family culture of death, and they're just pawns in it.
It's the same old, the same old evil spirits.
It's a satanic spirit that we talked about in Ephesians and the Bible many times.
It's an attack on the family.
It's an attack on all the family is Christianity.
It's the bedrock of Christianity.
It's the bedrock of any decent society.
When you attack the people, you attack the family, you attack civilization, and civilization is crumbling, and Western civilization is crumbling.
But the thing is, if these people who claim that they're helping these transgendered people, so-called, by getting them in the bathrooms that they want to go to, if they really loved them and wanted to help them, they would get them helped them.
They'd give them a middle hospital.
Absolutely.
And you know, enabling is not help.
Enabling does not help somebody.
It's like giving somebody your beloved family member who's DUI.
You know he's an alcoholic.
He's getting ready to go driving and you just give him a filthy whiskey or a core.
I think it gives us a liter of whiskey out here.
Drink this quart of whiskey.
You know, bless your hearts, you're an alcoholic.
You need to be drunk when you drive.
But you know, that's the same thing.
But, you know, where they've got to be getting their power is the very small, there's the minority of people that really control the private banks.
I'm talking about the banks over the Federal Reserve.
There's a group of private banks in the world.
Even here, even here in Tennessee, again, folks, where it's the population is 90% against this agenda.
It doesn't matter anything done because of a couple of celebrities and a couple of businesses who wrote letters.
95%.
We got to go.
Hey, we'll be back next week.
It's going to be a great show next week.
We'll see you then.
Good night, everybody.
For my entire Stafford crew, we love you.
God bless you.
Remember, no retreat, no surrender, no apologies.
I'm James Edwards.
