Welcome to the Political Cesspool, known worldwide as the South's foremost populous radio program.
And here to guide you through the murky waters of the political cesspool is your host, James Edwards.
All right, everybody, and welcome back to the political cesspool radio program.
I'm your host, James Edwards.
Having a little bit of technical biblical this year in the studio, but we're going to work through it as we head into the second hour of tonight's live broadcast.
It's February 25th, Saturday night.
Come and take you live from downtown, Memphis, Tennessee, as we're going out to the AMFM radio stations of the Liberty News Radio Network and simulcasting online, of course, at our official internet headquarters, thepoliticalcesspool.org.
Don't forget, ladies and gentlemen, as we've made mention of so many times during the first hour, to join us now.
Join us now in the Political Success Pool online chat and virtual fan party taking place right now.
It's being hosted by our friends at the Council of Conservative Citizens.
Join the chat.
So many people tuned in to the show tonight have already done so.
Be one of them at cfcc.org, C-O-S-C-C.org, or just go to our website, bepoliticalspool.org, and link right over to the chat room.
We're waiting for you now.
Be amongst friends.
Share in the fellowship and camaraderie that can only come from exchanging ideas with like-minded patriots.
And speaking of patriots, I want to thank my good friend and yours, Keith Alexander, for his contributions to the program this evening.
What a man.
What a guy, a legend in his own right.
And we are very blessed to have him on the staff here.
He contributes and adds so much to the broadcast.
We've got a very busy show for the rest of the evening coming your way.
I'll be flying solo this hour, but that doesn't mean that I don't have a lot to share with you because I do.
And then in the third hour, we're going to try to make talk radio history.
What do we have in store for you?
Well, find out.
We'll let you know.
First of all, we all know that Pat Buchanan has been fired from MSNBC as a result of his new book, Suicide of a Superpower.
And now the media again is resuscitating the visit that Pat made to our program back in October.
I mean, it was a great interview and all, but enough is enough, right?
Apparently not.
And now it's all being resuscitated.
The media is celebrating Pat Buchanan's firing.
How classy of him.
A group called Color of Change, whose mission statement says that it exists to strengthen black America's political voice, claims that Pat Buchanan's book espouses a white supremacist ideology and took to task the fact that Pat appeared on the political cesspool, which represents, as they said, a pro-white philosophy that wishes to revive the white birth rate among replacement-level fertility.
Now, this was a story that appeared where, where was it at?
One of these internet sites.
It gets confusing after so many.
Nevertheless, does anyone find it a little bit hypocritical that a group whose mission statement suggests that it exists, and I'm quoting directly here, it exists to strengthen black America's political voice could find fault in a radio program such as ours that serves as white America's political voice?
Isn't what's good for the goose, good for the gander?
Could there be a better example of a double standard other than perhaps the whole African American for Obama business?
You know, Barack Obama himself endorsed this African American for Obama initiative that is going on now and it hopes to bolster his reelection campaign.
But no hypocrisy or double standard is there, not at all.
At any rate, there was more piling on.
Yahoo News.
Now, this is obviously pretty big.
Yahoo News has also pinned a very classy and objective report on the Pat Buchanan matter.
I'm going to read this one verbatim because it's so, again, just so classy.
According to the Associated Press, Yahoo News writes, MSNBC has finally dropped conservative commentator Pat Buchanan.
Last fall, the network suspended him following the publication of his latest book, and MSNBC President Phil Griffin said just last month that he didn't think Buchanan's book should be part of the national dialogue, much less part of the national, much less part of the dialogue on MSNBC.
Yahoo News continues to read, neither do I. His firing could not have come soon enough, they write.
Buchanan's book, Suicide of a Superpower, included chapters that were titled The End of White America and the Death of Christian America.
Critics rightly called the book racist, anti-Semitic, and homophobic.
Welcome to the club, Pat, or I guess you founded the club.
We're honored to be a member.
Buchanan denied the charges by playing the victim card.
Let's get the vitriol included in this Yahoo news report.
Yet anyone who has seen even a smidgen of common sense realizes just how ridiculous this is.
Yahoo News continues.
Now I'm reading again verbatim, folks.
You would think that something this vicious couldn't pass for mainstream political commentary, but nevertheless, Yahoo continues.
The civil rights group, now, if they're pro-black, they're civil rights.
They're pro-white, they're white supremacists, right?
I mean, that's how it works.
The civil rights group, Color of Change, called on MSNBC to fire the political analyst after Pat Buchanan was interviewed on the political festival to promote his new book.
During the interview with James Edwards, Buchanan stated that white males are the victims of affirmative action, not the beneficiary.
He also warned the dangers of America's increasing diversity.
Yahoo News, again, this is Yahoo News, people.
This isn't some radical left-wing blog.
This is Yahoo.
Mr. Buchanan, this is how they wrap up the commentary here.
Mr. Buchanan, don't let the door hit you on the way out.
We live in the 21st century.
Like I said, folks, a very classy news report.
That's what's passing as journalism in this day and age.
Now, but you can watch as Pat fires back in the two-part video that we have featured at our website this evening, thepoliticalfest.org.
Pat from a book signing in suburban Washington, D.C., fired back on the Sean Hannity television program.
And you can, again, view it at our website.
And also there, we have a link for you to click to read more about Pat Buchanan's liberation is what I'm calling it.
He's his liberation from MSNBC in an article entitled The New Blacklist, written by Pat.
Well, folks, we're just getting started this second hour.
We've got much more to come here over the course of the next 45 minutes before we get into our featured guest in the third hour, Andy Noitki, and as we try to make talk radio history, will it be successful?
I don't know.
I'm skeptical, but you can find out with me tonight during the third hour of all the political festival.
I'm going to give you a teaser as to what exactly we're going to be attempting in just a few minutes later on this hour.
I'll tell you what we're going to attempt before we get into the third hour where we're going to be actually doing the, we're going to be taking the jump, so to speak, but coming up this hour.
Still more, a very interesting school field trip that all the kids in the Dallas public school system had to take.
Something they don't teach during Black History Month.
We're going to remember Vietnam and we're going to talk about election fraud against Ron Paul and how to get fired from Fox News in less than five minutes, folks.
A very, very busy second hour still to come and it's in progress right now.
And on top of all that, we're going to tell you how you can own an authentic piece of considered history.
Stay tuned, folks.
We'll be back with more writers for this.
Join us in the online chat party at cfc.org.
Don't go away.
There's more political cesspool coming your way right after these messages.

America has lost her way, lost her mourning, forgotten her direction.
What once protected us from leftist theories and cloud-borne wish lists of egalitarian quacks and crackpots was that our principles and values were grounded on experience.
What actually worked as settlers built new political societies from scratch, from the ground up, America was based on personal responsibility, our right to manage our own affairs without the dictation of central planners or a distant bureaucracy.
But we're losing that foundation.
We're losing our liberty.
At www.truthbaselogic.com, we offer arguments for which the enemies of traditional America have no answers.
TruthBasedLogic.com exists to help us better understand, defend, and restore the heritage we are losing.
Dr. Ron Paul, more than 4,000 babies delivered.
A man of faith, committed to protecting life.
Some people need to have a good word said about them.
Ron is the sort of person that his life is his good word.
You know, you just knew that Ron cared about you.
Life begins at conception, in my opinion, and as a result, I love to go to a doctor who felt the same way.
He not only protects unborn life, but he also walks through journeys with women and he has for years.
I love the fact that he hadn't changed in all these years.
Ron's still the same guy, still saying the same things.
And now all these years later, still standing his ground.
Ron did not let Washington change him.
It's not hard for someone who is a Christian and who truly believes to stay on the right path.
And I think that's what kind of person Ron Paul is.
America has to have someone like Ron Paul today.
There is no question.
Welcome back to get on the political cesspool.
Call us on James's Dime, toll-free, at 1-866-986-6397.
And here's the host of the Political Cesspool, James Edwards.
All right, everybody, and welcome back to the Political Cesspool Radio Program.
I'm your host, James Edwards, and we're going to get into some serious business now.
All right, something that they don't...
Well, no, no, no, no.
I'm going to start with this one.
I'm going to start with what happened in Dallas, and then it's going to segue into this.
We've got so much to cover this segment.
It's going to be a party.
The entire fifth grade class in the Dallas public school system recently went to see a movie about the black fighter pilots, the Tuskegee Airmen in World War II.
The girls stayed and they saw a different movie.
Now, the indoctrination of fictional propaganda continues, apparently, at taxpayer expense.
So basically what I'm telling you folks is that the entire fifth grade class, nearly 6,000 students, in other words, went to go see Red Tails, the new George Lucas movie about the Tuskegee Airmen.
Now, keep in mind that much of this is mythological.
I mean, God bless them for signing up into the Air Force and for flying the planes.
But the reality about what the Tuskegee Airmen accomplished, despite their willingness to go to war and the mythology about their extraordinary exploits, there's a lot of contrast there, to say the least.
But what I'm focusing on right now is the fact that at taxpayer expense, mind you, the entire 6,000-strong fifth grade class of the Dallas public school systems went to go see this movie.
Now, when I was growing up, which was in the 80s and early 90s, I can remember going on field trips too.
I can remember going to museums.
I can remember going to nature centers, to botanic gardens.
Once in seventh grade, we even took a bus trip to Nashville where we saw, we visited the state capitol.
We visited the Hermitage, which was the home of President Andrew Jackson, one of the greatest presidents to ever serve.
That's where we went.
Something that benefited our education in a practical way.
Museums, nature centers, state capitals, homes of presidents.
And keep in mind that I went to Briarcrest Christian School where the tuition was nearly $10,000 a year and my parents couldn't afford it.
But they made sacrifices and paid the tuition rather than sending me to the meat grinder of the Memphis Public Schools.
So that's where I went.
And even then, even at Briarcrest, with the $10,000 a year tuition for elementary school kids, we still had to pay to go on these field trips, which was fine.
I mean, that makes sense.
You go somewhere, you pay to get in.
You pay $5 to get into the museum.
He paid $10 to get into the hermitage.
You know, that just seemed normal and natural.
But those are the places we went and we had to pay to get in, even though we were paying private school tuition to boot.
Well, in Dallas, if you're an urban youth or you are a minority in the public school system, not only do you get a free education, but you also get to go on a free field trip to a movie, a mind-numbing movie about Tuskegee Airmen mythology.
And, you know, the Council of Conservative Citizens is sponsoring our online chat tonight at cfcc.org, and they have a very good article written about the Tuskegee Airmen, all factual, that I think people should check out.
But, you know, anyway, there's this new movie out called Red Tails, and it features the supposed exploits of the Tuskegee men.
And again, my hat's off to them for serving in war and for getting up there and for trying their best.
But when you look back about all of the World War II movies that are out there and that are sure to be forthcoming, when do you think they'll make a movie about this truly historical account that is being covered this week in ABC News Australia?
You're not going to hear much about it here in the United States because it defies political correctness.
But it is news in ABC Australia.
The headline reads, World War II mutiny by black U.S. troops in Australia confirmed.
Let me read that again.
World War II mutiny by black U.S. troops in Australia confirmed.
And here's the scoop from ABC News Australia.
An Australian historian has uncovered hidden documents which reveal that African American troops used machine guns to attack their white officers in a siege on a U.S. base in North Queensland in 1942.
Information about the Townsville mutiny has never been released to the public until now.
About 600 African-American troops, the story reads from ABC News Australia, were brought to the city to help build airfields.
According to the findings, the soldiers took to the machine guns and anti-aircraft weapons and fired into the tents where their white counterparts were drinking.
More than 700 rounds were fired.
One person was killed.
And I don't mean to make light of a tragic mutiny and a tragic subject, but perhaps the fact that they fired 700 rounds into the tents of unarmed men and only killed one.
Maybe that's why they weren't put on the front lines more often.
Australian troops, the story continues, were called in to roadblock the rioters.
It never made it to the press, but this account was handed to Lyndon B. Johnson at a Townsville hotel and eventually filed away into the U.S. National Archives and Records Administration.
So again, you can read more about this at our website, folks, at thepolitical cesspool.org.
But it's pretty interesting, isn't it?
This story is not getting any play outside of Australia.
It's a true story.
In the meantime, this fantastic account, this inflated account of the heroism of the Tuskegee Airmen is a national major motion picture.
Of course, if the media over here did get hold of the story or did care to Repeat it.
They would just suggest that the white officers deserved it because if they were white and were living in 1940, they must have been racist and deserved it or something of the like.
I mean, you can read that story before it's written.
But again, something they don't teach during Black History Month, this World War II mutiny in Australia of supposed World War II comrades.
And again, with regards to the whole Red Tails movie with which the entire 6,000-strong fifth-grade class was treated to at taxpayer expense, taxpayers paying for them to go to this movie.
A lot of good comments on the blog here in response to this article.
And it's not so much that these movies are being made to inflate the ego of black Americans or to encourage them to do good.
What these movies are made to instill in the hearts and minds of people is anti-white hatred or white guilt if you are already white.
You know, you look back on the 1950s, black Americans were squared away for the most part.
They wore shirts and ties.
They went to work.
They were contributing members to society.
You had a few malcontents that were part of the crusade to end private property rights and to eradicate freedom of association.
But for the most part, black Americans in the 1950s were good people.
And I know that there are many good blacks today, but you have all these exceptions to the rules, these baggy pants, gangsters, so on and so forth, that give them a bad name.
And that is what you think of.
When you think of that culture and that society right now and the fact that 95% of them vote for Obama, I mean, certainly they are engaged in a sort of ethno-political existence that whites should take a card from.
should take a lesson from protecting your liberty you're listening to liberty news radio are you worried about america Do you fear the power of the Obama brigades to take away your rights?

For too long now, those whose ancestors carved from a vast wilderness an awe-inspiring extension of Western civilization have been without any semblance of political representation.
Abandoned by the political establishment, we now face the prospect of losing our national identity, culture, and our way of life.
But there is hope.
There is still time to right these wrongs.
And there is a vehicle to organize our people into a force capable of reclaiming America's destiny.
The American Third Position is that vehicle.
It's a political party for our people, led by extraordinary patriots like Bill Johnson, Kevin McDonald, and myself, James Edwards.
Our ancestors from the gates of Vienna to the sands of Iwo Jima sacrificed their all in order to secure Providence's most precious gift, freedom.

Big girls!
Big girls!
All right, everybody.
All right, we're going to, I'm still battling technical difficulties here in the studio.
You can't hear it, but I can.
So if I'm a little bit askew this hour, you'll have to bear with me.
I know my producers in Utah are listening to me right now, so I'm sending you over a clip.
This is going to buy me a couple of minutes, and I'd like to play this anyway during this hour.
It'll buy me a couple of minutes to troubleshoot here with you.
We're going to tell you how you can get fired from Fox News in less than five minutes.
Actually, Judge Andrew Napolitano is going to be giving us that tutorial here in just a second.
But first, we're going to remember Vietnam.
We've been talking a little bit about war this hour, at least World War II.
A very good friend of mine who served in Vietnam.
As you can hear, my wife and daughter have just walked into the studio.
Anyway, thanks for coming to see me.
We have been talking about World War II this hour, the Tuskegee Airmen, the field trip there, and so on and so forth.
We're going to remember Vietnam.
A good friend of mine who served with me in the Buchanan Brigades of 2000.
We were both delegates to Pat Buchanan's nominating convention in the year 2000.
He was a Vietnam combat veteran.
In fact, most, well, at least half of the political cesspool crew has served in the United States Armed Forces.
Eddie the Bombay-Miller was a combat medic.
Winston Smith was a member of the Navy.
And Peter Scoop Stanton, one of our correspondents, was also in the Navy.
So we have a lot of military tradition here.
But a good friend of mine, one of my mentors in my early days of political activism, served in Vietnam.
And he wrote a very well-written article recalling his experience in that war.
And I'd like to read it with you now because it's very profound.
And here's how it reads.
As I watched the interview of Nancy Sherman on book TV, I was disturbed by her insights into questions of guilt, the power and dangers of revenge, and the struggle to learn how to inhabit badly injured bodies that plague our returning military veterans.
Sherman writes about this in her book, The Untold War, Inside the Hearts, Minds, and Souls of Our Soldiers.
These warriors are haunted by their own personal images and smells of war, and I have mine.
My friend writes that he is haunted not by the images, but rather by the smells of Vietnam War.
As I listen to Nancy Sherman describe the feelings of betrayal described by our wounded Iraq and Afghanistan veterans, memories of two foul smells returned to me.
One smell hung in the air all the time.
It was the cloying stink of human waste and kerosene burning in the bottom of 55-gallon drums that set below the holes framed by toilet seats screwed into the outhouse benches we sat upon as we relieved ourselves.
The drums were pulled out and set afire at mid-morning every day.
The other odor was an oily stench that came from the water that was hauled in by pump trucks so we could shower the cemetery dirt off our bodies.
These trucks pumped out palm water drained from the fields and jungles, now dead from a defoliant spray to kill the jungle growth.
That poison was Agent Orange.
The memory of that odor returns every time I visit my cardiologist who treats my heart disease or visit the clinic to check my internal cardiac defibrillator to make sure that it will keep me alive at least until I reach the emergency room.
Over the last decade, 4,683 servicemen and women returned dressed in body bags and shoved into aluminum coffins, while 32,799 have returned missing body parts or damaged brains or other internal organs.
They have been sullied in an evil, unwinnable war waged by cowards who hid in the White House in the Capitol building with their chests stuck out and lips puckered in a Mussolini pose.
When I see wounded Iraq or Afghanistan veterans, I hold my tongue and stop myself from saying thank you for your service to our country.
Sometimes I'm able to mumble, welcome home, but in my mind I say, I'm sorry for what we did to you.
That again, my friends, was written by one of my early mentors in my political activism, a man who I served with in the Buchanan Brigades of 2000.
And to illustrate his point, ask yourself how many of Rick Santorum's or Mitt Romney's children are going to volunteer for the coming war against Iran.
Again, telling that kind of truth isn't going to get you a cushy job in the media.
And if you tell that truth while you have a cushy job in the media, you won't be there very much longer.
Can we play that clip, gentlemen, from Andrew Napolitano that I emailed you?
Okay, there's no clip.
My apologies, folks.
I thought I'd emailed it in.
Anyway, we're troubleshooting again here on the fly here in the political cessvole.
Well, I'll tell you what happened is my microphone has gone dead.
My link to the studio has gone dead.
So I'm kind of flying blind here.
And we're doing the show.
And I'm able to broadcast to you, obviously, but I'm having a problem finding out exactly when my brakes are coming up.
So I've got a cell phone to my ear, which is connected to the folks, the great folks out in Utah, Sam Bushman and his crew.
And I thought that I had emailed them a clip, but perhaps it didn't get delivered.
Anyway, if you haven't seen it, ladies and gentlemen, and hopefully we'll get to play it here before the clock runs out this hour.
But Judge Andrew Napolitano has joined Pat Buchanan in the dustbin of national television commentators, apparently.
And you've got to see you've got to see this clip.
I mean, so much truth into five minutes on Andrew Napolitano's former show on the Fox News channel.
It's absolutely incredible.
We'll see if we can cue that up and play it for you in just a little bit.
In the meantime, we let it be known that Navy Chief Art Frith, another former veteran, by the way, on the Political Assessable staff, the veterans actually outnumber the Civvies on this staff.
Only myself, Keith Alexander, and Bill Rowland have never served in some form of military capacity.
Art Frith, our former producer, who was tuned in tonight from retirement in Michigan, it sent me in a story.
The flags in New Jersey were lowered to half-staff in memory of Whitney Houston.
And the Navy chief took issue with that.
Normally, that is an honor that is bestowed upon fallen presidents or war heroes or something of the like.
But in New Jersey, Governor Chris Christie has ordered the flags to be lowered to half-staff, or he did last week in order to memorialize Whitney Houston, a celebrity who most likely died of a drug overdose.
And again, we have this story and accompanying video featured at our website, thepoliticalspool.org.
And the father of a fallen veteran in Michigan has taken issue with the order from Governor Christie to honor or memorialize Houston in this way.
And he has burned the state flag of New Jersey in effigy because his son died over there in combat, as I said.
And it's a pretty good story and a pretty good video.
You can see him doing it and letting the media know exactly why he is doing it, that, and many, many more stories there for you tonight at the politicalassesspool.org.
When we come back during the third and excuse me, the fourth and final segment of this hour, we're going to let you know how you can own an authentic piece of Confederate history.
Yes, this is an exclusive offer that, to my knowledge, you can only get here at the Political Assess Pool Radio Program.
It's in conjunction with our first quarter fundraiser of 2012.
And of course, you'll want to be a part of that, help keep our show on the air.
You can own a piece of Confederate history.
And folks, it is a pretty incredible piece that we are able to offer to you in response to your contributions to this show.
And we're going to try to get that Andrew Napolitano clip as well and much, much more.
Now, don't forget, during the third and final hour of tonight's show, which is coming up during the 8 o'clock Central Time Hour, we're going to try to make talk radio history.
We've made mention of it earlier tonight.
And I promise you that you're not going to want to miss this noble effort.
I have no idea, as I've said before, if it's going to be successful.
I don't know if it's going to work, but we're going to give it a shot.
And if it does work, to my knowledge, it will be unprecedented.
And hopefully the Political Assess Book can go in the Guinness Book of World Records for a good reason.
But if it fails, we will have still given it a good effort.
And Andy Nowicki will be our guest.
Our featured guest of the night, again, coming up in the third hour.
He is the author of three novels.
He's a great all-around guy.
And Andy Nowicki forthcoming tonight.
Stay tuned.
The Political Cesspool guys.
We'll be back right after these messages.
We'll return.

But first, we're going to tell you how to get fired from Fox News in less than five minutes.
I mean, there is so much truth forthcoming here in the next four minutes and 27 seconds, you might have a brain overload.
It might blow your mind.
But Fox News has canceled Judge Andrew Napolitano's show, Freedom Watch.
I guess they just couldn't handle this much truth reaching the people on their airwaves.
Again, this was a commentary that aired on the Fox Business Channel, the Andrew Napolitano show, Freedom Watch.
This was the commentary you're about to hear it, and shortly thereafter, the show was canceled.
Everyone needs to listen to this very closely.
Here is Judge Andrew Napolitano in his commentary, What's the Plan?
Participation in a process that validates an establishment that never meaningfully changes.
What if that establishment doesn't want and doesn't have the consent of the governed?
What if the two-party system was actually a mechanism used to limit so-called public opinion?
What if there were more than two sides to every issue, but the two parties wanted to box you into a corner, one of their corners?
What if there's no such thing as public opinion, because every thinking person has opinions that are uniquely his own?
What if what we call public opinion was just a manufactured narrative that makes it easier to convince people that if their views are different, then there's something wrong with that, or there's something wrong with them?
What if the whole purpose of the Democratic and Republican parties was not to expand voters' choices, but to limit them?
What if the widely perceived differences between the two parties was just an illusion?
What if the heart of the government policy remains the same no matter who's in the White House?
What if the heart of government policy remains the same no matter what the people want?
What if those vaunted differences between Democrat and Republican were actually just minor disagreements?
What if both parties just want power and are willing to have young people fight meaningless wars in order to enhance that power?
What if both parties continue to fight the war on drugs just to give bureaucrats and cops bigger budgets and more jobs?
What if government policies didn't change when government leaders did?
What if no matter who won an election, government stayed the same?
What if government was really a revolving door for political hacks bent on exploiting the people once they're in charge?
What if both parties supported welfare, war, debt, bailouts, and big government?
What if the rhetoric that candidates displayed on the campaign trail was dumped after electoral victory?
What if Barack Obama campaigned as an anti-war, pro-civil liberties candidate, and then waged senseless wars while assaulting your rights that the Constitution is supposed to protect?
What if George W. Bush campaigned on a platform of non-intervention and small government and then waged a foreign policy of muscular military intervention and a domestic policy of vast government borrowing and growth?
What if Bill Clinton declared that the era of big government was over, but actually just convinced Republicans like Newt Gingrich that they can get what they want out of big government too?
What if the Republicans went along with it?
What if Ronald Reagan spent six years running for president, promising to shrink the government, but then the government grew while he was in the White House?
What if, notwithstanding Reagan's ideas and cheerfulness and libertarian rhetoric, there really was no Reagan revolution at all?
What if all this is happening again?
What if Rick Santorum is being embraced by voters who want small government?
Even though Senator Santorum voted for the Patriot Act for an expansion of Medicare and for raising the debt ceiling by trillions of dollars.
What if Mitt Romney is being embraced by voters who want anyone but Barack Obama, but they don't realize that Mitt Romney might as well be Barack Obama on everything from warfare to welfare?
What if Ron Paul is being ignored by the media, not because, as it claims, he's unappealing or unelectable, but because he doesn't fit into the pre-manufactured public opinion mold used by the establishment to pigeonhole the electorate and create the so-called narrative that drives media coverage of elections.
What if the biggest difference between most candidates was not substance, but style?
What if those stylistic differences were packaged as substantive ones to reinforce the illusion of a difference between Democrats and Republicans?
What if Mitt Romney wins and ends up continuing most of the same policies that Barack Obama promoted?
What if Barack Obama's policies, too, are merely extensions of those from George W. Bush?
What if a government that manipulated us could be fired?
What if a government that lacked the true and knowing consent of the governed could be dismissed?
What if it were possible to have a real game changer?
What if we need a Ron Paul to preserve and protect our freedoms from the government?
What if we could make elections matter again?
What if we could do something about this?
From New York, defending freedom every night of the week.
Well, how about that, ladies and gentlemen?
That was Judge Andrew Napolitano on what would turn out to be one of his final commentaries ever on the Fox News Channel.
Very interesting, isn't it?
Of course, the Lord of the board, our former producer Art Press, has always given me credit for ending Paulazahn's career.
It was very shortly after CNN.
CNN, how many ends are there?
CNN had me on as a regular commentator on the Pollazahn show that she was unceremoniously canceled.
I had three appearances in one month alone, and then the next month she was gone.
Art Press still to this day, says Paulazahn's career ends because of me.
But nevertheless, coincident or not, Judge Andrew Napolitano was canceled shortly after he delivered the commentary that you just heard here on the Political Assessable Radio program.
And what can you argue with that?
That was four minutes and 30 seconds of there was more truth.
Let me put it this way, more truth in the last four minutes and 30 seconds of Andrew Napolitano's television career there than you'll hear in any given month on the mainstream media networks.
Of course, it's all different here on the Political Assessment Radio program where you get that kind of truth and nothing but that kind of truth.
Every minute of every hour of every night of every week, we're on the air.
Thousand plus shows over the course of the last eight years we've brought to you and that's what we're known for.
And thank God for that and for the heroes that I don't say that lightly at Liberty News Radio that syndicate our show and get it out to a wider audience.
We are here because of them.
We're here because of you and I want to help continue to build the show, help continue to build the network.
And fans of the Political Festival Radio program know that they know what we're here to do.
They know what we stand for.
Paleoconservatism, the Constitution, what's right for all Americans, including the dispossessed minority, a majority, I should say.
You also know that the success of our quarterly fundraising appeals is necessary in order to keep us on the air.
Without your financial support, our work couldn't be sustained.
And that being said, it's time to unveil our first fundraising drive of 2012, which kicked off, it actually kicked off a couple of days ago and it's going to run through March.
But my friends, I can safely say to you that we've never offered a fundraising incentive as special and as rare as this one.
And I truly hope you'll take advantage of the incredible opportunity that we're making available to you.
Normally when we have a fundraising incentive, and we do it four times a year, we offer an autographed book from one of our favorite authors.
From time to time, we will offer perhaps a DVD.
But this time we're offering you the opportunity to own an authentic piece of Confederate history.
And with that, I'll give you a little bit of background.
Jefferson Davis, of course, was the first and only president of the Confederate States of America.
He purchased a home after the war in Biloxi, Mississippi.
It was named Beauvoir, which means beautiful view in French.
Jefferson Davis retired to Beauvoir in 1877, where he lived until his death in 1889.
He wrote many books there.
The original slates that were used to construct the roof were provided from a quarry in Wales over in the United Kingdom.
In 2005, Beauvoir became one of Hurricane Katrina's many victims, although you probably didn't hear about that during the coverage of Katrina.
But nevertheless, Beauvoir was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina for the most part.
Although it has now been completely restored and it does continue to operate today as Jefferson Davis' presidential library, some of the original pieces of the slate roof of Beauvoir were not salvageable.
Again, that destruction came in 2005 during the Hurricane Katrina catastrophe, which was also the same year that the Political Festival won an award from the Sons of Confederate Veterans in appreciation for the role that we play on the air in the defense of Confederate heritage.
In addition to the award, I was also the recipient of some of the original slate from Beauvoir, which I'm now making available to you.
That's right, ladies and gentlemen, starting right now, we are giving you the rare opportunity to own an authentic piece of Jefferson Davis's home, making available to those who can contribute $100 or more a one-inch by one-inch mini tile of Jefferson Davis' slate roof that will be suitable for framing alongside your favorite portrait of the Confederate president.
Think of the conversation star it'll be when you explain to your friends that the piece of slate we're looking at actually provided shelter for the president of the Confederate States of America during the final years of his life.
Now, as you might imagine, we have a very limited number of these tiles we've tied.
Once they're gone, we will be out.
We'll never again be able to take advantage of an opportunity like this.
You must act now.
