Time Text
Welcome to the Political Cesspool, known worldwide as the South's foremost populous radio program.
And here to guide you through the murky waters of the Political Cesspool is your host, James Edwards.
All right, everybody, third and final hour now upon us, and now we're really going to put the pedal to the metal and accelerate the pace of this radio program.
As good as it's been, with Keith Alexander anchoring the first hour, co-hosting with me, and of course, the second hour featuring the great author, Andy Nowicki.
Everyone, check out his book, The Columbine Pilgrim.
Tonight's third hour is going to be fast and furious, not to plug the movie.
But before we get into it, I want to remind you that you are listening to the Political Cesspool Radio Program.
I'm James Edwards, co-hosting with me this hour and last, Winston Smith.
We're broadcasting to you from AM 1380, WLRM Studios, going out to the AM FM affiliate stations of the Liberty News Radio Network and simulcasting online at thepolitical cesspool.org and libertynewsradio.com.
Had a lot of stuff on the block.
I tell you, if you're not visiting thepolitical cesspool.org each day, you're going to miss something.
We have two or three fresh, hard-hitting articles posted to our website each day, keeping current with all the events that take place in the world of race politics and hypocrisy in 21st century America in between each live radio show we do on Saturday evenings.
So like I said, if you love the show on Saturday night, you got to check out the website every day, thepolitical cesspool.org.
And between tonight and last week's show, we've had all sorts of vast and varied news items posted to the site.
Something for everyone.
We try to cover all of our bases and explore the political spectrum here in the Political Cesspool.
You know, we've got so much variety on the website, you're not going to believe it.
For instance, an article that Winston wrote in 2007, who thought that'd make a timely reappearance here this week?
But it did, and people loved it.
A behind-the-scenes little story, a behind-the-scenes report.
We like giving our fans access to who we are outside of the radio studio from time to time.
And every so often, we'll sprinkle in a little behind-the-scenes reporting on our website about things we do when we're not in front of a microphone.
I have a little report there for you this week as well, featuring some time I spent with Dr. Tom Sunik when he visited Memphis.
Of course, Dr. Sunich, a very popular guest on this show as well.
And in addition to those two gems, we have, my goodness, where do I start?
A couple of pictures.
Now, keep in mind, each and every blog entry, this is a new feature to the site.
We're trying to complement each blog entry that we post with a picture or a video that I kind of give it a little extra punch and panache, if you will.
Got a couple of pictures there showcasing a Sunday school book from the 60s versus a Sunday school book of today.
You can pretty much fill in the blanks of how one looks compared to the other, but it got a lot of comments.
If you want to check it out, do so.
Thepolitical Cesspool.org.
What else?
I'm there right now.
I'm always there.
Believe me.
Always there at thepolitical Cesspool.org.
Some other stories.
Some British tourists murdered in Florida by the usual suspects.
Not mean to make that trivial, but it's just another day in contemporary America.
Mohammed tops the list of English baby names.
It's number one.
But in addition to all that, we've got Congolese soldiers, soldiers from the African nation of Congo, explaining why they rape.
It has something to do with magic, and they believe that it'll help them achieve victory in battle.
What's sad is that this trend doesn't stop, unfortunately, once they're introduced to First World Nation.
They just bring the so-called culture and keep it even after centuries of assimilation.
We got a story there, a story that was sent to me by a very good friend.
And I tell you, just the most generous contributor the political Cesspool has ever had, a man that I've become quite fond of.
He lives in Hot Springs, listens to the show every week, and he sent me last year an article pertaining to the role that President John Tyler played in the cultivation of the Confederate States of America.
That is featured on our blog this week.
British actor John Cleese, made famous in the Monty Python films, and A Fish Called Wanda, the 1998 movie starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Kevin Klein.
He says he had to move out of London.
It's no longer English.
We've got all this stuff and more.
Oliver Miller.
Oliver Miller was an NBA player who topped the scales at 400 pounds during his playing days.
Well, he's making the news again, as so many black athletes do for having a run-in in the law.
He pistol whipped someone who tried to eat his food.
They say it was barbecue sauce-stained fingerprints that gave him away.
Check out that story.
Winston, do we have it all or not?
I mean, do we have a little, I mean, you can't cover it all.
If we covered every black on white crime, for instance, we'd have to do a thousand blog postings a day.
So we can't cover it all, but we've got a nice sampling, do we not?
We do.
That Oliver Miller story, yeah.
And it varies from very serious to kind of trivial and comical.
We got to mix it up, you know.
But, James, the thing that I like most about the blog, in addition to, you know, our articles, I admit, I like our blog.
I like the writing, the way we write.
I'm surprised that an article I wrote four years ago is still fresh today.
I like your wit on your blog posting.
But what I like more than anything is the commenters, the people who visit and comment.
There are some sharp people out there sensitive people out there.
It just buttresses what I've been saying for years.
We have the best audience in the world.
The most salt of the earth people, the most common sense people.
That's our audience.
We also have, we've had scientists, lawyers, engineers.
Our audience is vast, varied, and very intelligent and very good to be with, I have to say, James.
Well, they are.
And we have the opportunity when we make public appearances, whether it be a book signing or giving a speech to different conferences and gatherings to meet our fans from time to time.
And we don't get the opportunity to do it as much as we would like.
But when the opportunity does present itself to meet the fans and the supporters, the audience of the Political Assessable Radio Program, I tell you, I'm blown away every time by their generosity, by their goodwill, by their intelligence, and by the amount of knowledge they possess about the history of this radio program.
It just blows me away to meet someone for the first time.
They come up to shake my hand or take a picture and they start just rattling off.
Well, do you remember that?
They remember things about the show that I don't even remember.
Do you remember that show four years ago when you said this?
And not really, but I'm glad that you do.
And this is the kind of, and it's such an honor.
It's such an honor that our fans take such an active interest and play such an active role in our show.
And as Winston was just saying, the true fans of our blog are those who reply and comment to the articles that we feature there.
I had an article that I posted last night that we're going to cover in depth right after this next commercial break.
And within a matter of just a couple of hours, you already had 50 or 60 comments to it, which is obviously very good.
And so, yeah, absolutely.
If you are not visiting and reading the articles that we're posting at our website each day, once again, you need to do it.
Visit thepoliticalasspool.org bookmarket.
Make it one of your daily reads and engage in some of the conversation that takes place between those who listen to our show.
They're in the blogs themselves.
At the very end, you can leave a comment and just enjoy the exchange as we are enjoying it right now.
Jump in the Political Cesspool with James and the game.
Call us tonight at 1-866-986-6397.
And here's the host of the Political Cesspool, James Edwards.
You know, sometimes we get so excited coming to work each night, doing our job, hosting this show, that we run over our own commercial breaks.
And that's what happened just a moment ago.
I was talking.
I missed my cue from the producer.
I didn't even hear the music in my headset.
I was so into the discussion at hand, promoting the show, promoting the blog, promoting the fans.
But Winston, as I mentioned, just before that last commercial break, there was one, well, a couple of articles in particular that's really getting some comments this week and tonight at thepoliticalasspool.org.
Now, earlier this week, we learned that McDonald's was having a national hiring day.
They were going to recruit 50,000 lucky new employees.
Now, apparently the prospect of landing one of these jobs was so enticing that countless blacks swarmed a McDonald's restaurant in Cleveland, Ohio.
This caused a long line, which caused a fight, which led to a black woman literally running over people with her car.
Listen, as I said, we don't just give you the facts and the links.
We give you picture and video evidence to back up what we're saying now at thepolitical Cesspool.org.
And what we have for you is one of the most flagrant hit and runs you'll ever see.
It was all caught on tape.
And if you go to our website, find the article entitled Black Woman Uses Car to Run Over People at McDonald's, scroll to the 56-second mark of the video, and you will see this crime as it happened.
Now, I've read from other commentators that the reason this occurred is because the economy is bad and black people are so desperate to get a job that they're allowing their frustrations to boil over.
That's why this woman started mowing people down in her car.
And I'm talking about people flying off the bumpers, you know, literally getting run over, not just knocked.
I mean, she was going pretty fast.
So, but it's because the economy is bad.
Now, granted, that's better than white racism made her do it, which is normally their excuse.
But that's what passes as analysis on other media outlets.
But here on the Political Assessful Radio program, of course, we'll tell you the truth.
And the fact of the matter is, you'll never see a white person in any economic conditions running people over with their car at McDonald's.
But Winston, that being said, before we move into the even bigger McDonald's news story this week, and yes, there is one, what did you make of that one?
James, that was a very disturbing video.
You could feel this ancient building and just bent over those people.
Bodies were scattering.
Hang on, Winston, you're coming in pretty shoddy on my end.
Try that mic again.
Let's see if we do any better.
Winston, I think you're going to have to reboot over there, buddy.
Okay, and keep talking.
I'm going to tread water.
We're going to have our producer work with Winston.
We're going to get this figured out.
Like I said, see, this is live radio.
You don't get this in a movie.
You don't get technical foul-ups in a movie.
Because, you know, they can edit.
This is live.
Listen, it's all real time.
But anyway, there's not much more Winston can say to that.
But I would have sure liked to have heard what he was going to say, and maybe we'll get back at that.
We've got to move on, and I've got to keep it fast-paced.
You know, it's a punchy hour here.
We've got a lot of ground to cover.
But check that story out, if for no other reason than the shock value to see multiculturalism at work.
Winston, let's see if that mic's working better now.
How's this?
Okay, now I see all you got to do.
You got to plug it in.
You got to keep it plugged in.
I'm telling you, I remember the old days of some of the stuff we had to put up with at WLRM, but things have improved so much, but still, sometimes the bug sneaks in.
All right.
James, I'm looking at this video now of this black woman executing this hit and run, and it's just disturbing.
And all for a minimum wage job at McDonald's.
And James, you were exactly right.
This is not a matter of economy.
This is just a matter of upbringing.
This is a matter of perspective on life.
You don't go running over people and bowling them over for a job at McDonald's.
It isn't worth it.
And frankly, James, I just don't think that this woman's prospects of getting a job at McDonald's are very good.
I mean, she's running over potential employees here.
I've got to say that.
Here's her backing up.
Boom, boom, boom.
Bodies are scattering like bowling pins.
And I understand that the police know who she is, and she remains at large.
So, folks, of course, James, you know, McDonald's has their Black 365 program going on.
That's right.
They try to make every day Black History Month or something like that.
And they shouldn't be surprised by this.
This is what they're going to get.
So there you have it.
And, you know, go to Chick-fil-A, folks.
Which has also been promoted on this show.
Now, if that wasn't enough action at McDonald's this week, the second story is even more incredible or heinous.
We just talked about the black woman who was running people over with her car at McDonald's in Cleveland.
Move down to the southeast a little bit.
Baltimore, Maryland is where we find ourselves now.
And what you have at first glance is black girls almost beating a white woman to death.
And yes, there is video documentation of this whole ordeal as well.
She ends up writhing on the floor in a seizure while restaurant staff tapes it and laughs.
Now, it's very hard to watch because it is such graphic video, but the footage can be seen on our website, thepoliticalsucesspool.org.
Go to the blog entry entitled, What Is It With Black Violence at McDonald's?
Now, you watch this video and you say, this is how blacks say thank you for welfare, affirmative action, quotas, set-asides, free education, and Christian salvation.
But it's important for you to watch this video to see how diversity really works.
Once you get out of the classroom, this is what multiculturalism, as I say, actually looks like in the real world.
Now, okay.
After posting the video and the initial commentary to this story, as I do on big stories like this, I continue to research it just to see how everything plays out.
And I was shocked to find that it appeared as though police were considering investigating this brutal beating as a hate crime.
Now, that's fishy.
That just doesn't follow the script.
There's no way because it just happens too often.
It happens a thousand times a day.
There's no way, and it doesn't fit the politically correct script.
There's no way police are going to consider a black-on-white beating to be a hate crime.
It's never happened before, as far as I'm aware, unless, of course, the white woman in the video at McDonald's was a homosexual or in this case, a transvestite.
We're really getting into the cesspool now.
But it appears to be the case, maybe the white woman, quote unquote, in the beating at the McDonald's could possibly be a male, but no one seems to know for sure.
And if you're waiting for the media to get their story straight, or better yet, to tell you the truth, you might be waiting for a long, long time.
Some news outlets are reporting that it was, in fact, a female, while others make mention that he slash she is a transvestite.
The police say they don't know if the victim was a man or a woman.
I don't know how.
It's a pretty easy way to tell if you want to.
Well, look, all right.
We're going to have to take a break right there because the plot's really starting to thicken here.
And I've only got 30 seconds to break.
Just if you need to familiarize yourself with this story, go to thepolitical cesspool.org, check out the facts.
We're going to try to get it all straight for you.
And there's a point to be made here.
Stay tuned.
We'll sort through it together when the political cesspool returns right after this.
You're listening to the political cesspool on the Liberty News Radio Network.
I'm your host, James Edwards, Winston Smith with me tonight.
If you have not yet joined us in the Council of Conservative Citizens Political Cesspool online chat, do so now.
It's still a party.
30 minutes to go.
Cfcc.org.
be back.
Don't go away.
The political cesspool, guys.
We'll be back right after these messages.
On the show and express your opinion in the political cesspool, call us toll-free at 1-866-986-6397.
We gotta get out of this place.
You've been so less.
All right, right before that last commercial break, I was trying to the best of my ability to break down the story.
Breaking news story.
As of, you know, just yesterday in Baltimore, Maryland, we have what apparently was a brutal beating by a couple of black women against a white woman.
It was filmed by McDonald's store employees.
I mean, they really gave her, or him, a bad beating, whatever the case.
And, you know, surely a man wouldn't be beaten like that by two teenage black girls.
You would hope not.
Anyway, we got the video.
It's up.
That's the initial story.
Then the plot thickens.
It's kind of like an onion.
You keep peeling these layers, hoping to get to the core, but you never seem to get far enough.
I knew something was fishy when I read the words hate crime attached to the story because there's no way in hell Eric Holder's Justice Department is going to pursue hate crimes charges and a black-on-white beating unless you throw in a homosexual or, as I said in this case, a transvestite.
Here's the story from the Baltimore Sun: A video of a vicious beating at a Baltimore County McDonald's restaurant went viral Friday, garnering hundreds of thousands of views.
The video shows two women, one of them a 14-year-old girl, repeatedly kicking and punching the 22-year-old victim in the head as an employee of the Rosedale restaurant and a patron try to intervene.
Which I watched the video.
I didn't see that.
I didn't see any intervention.
Others can be heard laughing, and men are seen standing idly by.
Toward the end of the video, one of the suspects lands a punishing blow to the victim's head, and she appears to have a seizure.
A man's voice tells the women to run because the police are coming.
County police confirmed that the attack occurred on April 18th.
Equality Maryland said the victim is a transgender woman and called on the state attorney general to step in and investigate the case as a hate crime.
So, as I said, you may have to excuse my initial report.
When I read news stories like this one reporting that the victim is a woman or a she, and I see video of someone who looks like a woman, I naturally figured that they are, you know, a woman.
Sometimes I forget the perversity of modern-day America.
These days, she can actually mean he when you're reading the news.
Who'd have thought of it?
Back when I was growing up, which wasn't that long ago, she meant female, and he referred to a male.
Today, they try to pretend that gender is based upon how a person feels.
None of this, of course, changes anything regarding black violence, of course.
And I certainly still condemn the attack, but it does explain the possible hate crimes investigation.
So, what do you think, audience?
Was the victim a man or a woman?
I guess only time will tell, but go watch the video for yourself at thepolitical cesspool.org and register your vote.
Now, Winston, try, those are the facts.
Try to make sense of it, please.
Winston over and over again.
Indeed, I'm watching it right now.
And whether this victim is a male or female, I just don't know.
But like you, I condemn violence in all its forms, save for that in self-defense.
This was a brutal and vicious attack.
And whether or not this victim was transgender or whatever, this is still something that is so vicious and so heinous that, well, change really well when I get to is the behavior of the spoiled personnel.
This manager here gets a facade of intervention.
And indeed, there is a patron there who does intervene, an older woman, but she's not going to have any effect on these two black women in this beating frenzy, if you will.
But the store people telling these two attackers to get out of Dodge because the police are coming.
I mean, If it had been a couple of white attackers on a black victim, the black store people would have been all over those white attackers holding them down until the police came.
But in this case, they are aiding and abetting the attackers.
And I call on McDonald's right now to clean house at this restaurant.
Absolutely.
Because the employees are aiding and abetting these attackers in the commission of the crime.
The employees are just as guilty as are the attackers.
They helped them.
They warned them.
The police are on the way.
Get out of here.
And this manager, he's a respectably built man.
He could have put an end to this quickly with a couple of well-placed blows.
But the fact is, he wasn't going to intervene, and a couple of sisters laying it on white.
Now, again, James, like you, I'm kind of confused as to the gender issue.
But the fact remains that this was an attack, and it highlights, let's say, it highlights black behavior.
This is the way these people are.
We see it at Chookie Cheese every week.
We see it at McDonald's, whether they're running over people's cars or they're beating the daylights out of people.
Some of our commenters have pointed out that maybe it was a restroom issue.
Maybe if this was a transgender person, this victim was actually a male walking into a female restroom.
Well, still, it doesn't call for this kind of violence.
Folks, say what you will about your political session hosts, but we abhor violence, except, as you said, in the case of self-defense.
But this was not self-defense.
This was malevolent.
This was vicious.
This was violence for the sake of making a point.
And that's all it was.
And these attackers, they need to feel the full blood of the law.
And as I said, again, I call on McDonald's to clean house at this restaurant.
This is absurd.
This is vulgar.
It's grotesque.
I don't know what else to say about it, James.
Yeah, but you know, if you take it on face value, as it was originally reported and as the video would seem to indicate, you have just another manifestation of over-the-top black-on-white violence.
And it's still black-on-white violence, regardless of whether or not this person turns out to be, well, frankly, a pervert or not.
Okay, you got that.
Then, and I think our commentary on that story stands as is.
Then, a day later, there are initial reports of this story, and then it really started to get trumpeted quite a bit louder on the second day.
That's when you really started seeing a lot of news stories about this incident because there was speculation that the victim was indeed a transvestite.
Now, let's examine that layer of the story.
Is it more of a crime?
Is it a crime that is worthy of harsher punishment if the victim was a transvestite?
Well, that's exactly what the media is saying.
Day one, you see the video, you read the stories, people just take it as face value that someone going in the women's restroom that looks like a woman was in fact a woman, you know, God forbid.
You know, it's just pretty much something that's relegated to, you know, shows such as ours.
It's not getting picked up by the national media.
Then a day later, turns out that this person was a transvestite, and now hate crimes charges are being mentioned.
Why wasn't it mentioned right off the bat instantly?
Not until speculation arose that the person was a transvestite.
Did you hear about hate crimes charges being levied?
And that, in and of itself, is particularly egregious.
Winston?
It does set up a hierarchy of victimhood, if you will.
At the very bottom of that is white people.
This story was a non-issue as long as it was just a couple of barbaric black girls beating the snot out of a white woman.
It was nothing.
But then you throw in, well, this was a sexual deviant.
And suddenly, it gets national press.
It gets national attention.
Now, I'm going to call on our listeners to complain to McDonald's, complain to your news outlets, and say, why is it that when this was just a black-on-white incident, it was nothing.
Doesn't it rate any interest at all if one of our people gets the snot beat out of them?
Because we know exactly what would happen if the races were reversed.
It wouldn't matter if the black victim was a transvestite or a Martian.
It wouldn't matter.
The fact is that it would be a national news item, an example of white hatred, white violence towards black people.
Winston?
That's all we've been hearing about.
Hold on, buddy.
Got to take a break.
We're going to come back to wrap up this story.
And in fact, the entire show right after this.
We'll be back right after these messages.
We got to get out of this place.
If it's the last thing we ever do, we got to get out of this place.
Welcome back to get on the political cesspool.
Call us on James's Dime, toll-free, at 1-866-986-6397.
And here's the host of the Political Cesspool, James Edwards.
All right, folks, you know what story we've been talking about for the last few minutes here.
If you want to comment on it, we encourage you to do so by visiting thepolitical cesspool.org.
But Winston, in closing on this one, it does bring up another equally concerning question, and that is the latest lie from the egalitarians.
You know, first of all, they tried to hoodwink us or hoodwink the gullible by saying that race is a social construct, race doesn't exist.
Well, now the new lie is that gender itself is a social construct, that gender doesn't exist.
And so you can be born a man and have all the anatomy that is a prerequisite for you to be considered a male.
But if you feel like a woman, well, then I guess you are in today's modern society.
This is what they're saying.
And so if you feel like a woman, it doesn't matter, you know, that well, that you have what men have down there.
You can go into the women's bathroom to urinate if you want to.
Yeah, it's no longer a matter of plumbing.
It's a matter of the way.
I'm trying to, you know, select the right words for broadcast radio, but you know what I'm saying, folks.
I mean, you can be a man, but if you feel like a woman, you can go in the women's bathroom and take a leak.
So, you know, and we are the backwards ones.
We are the ones, according to, you know, this perverse facade of pop culture and the media for believing that this is obviously not right.
James, you're absolutely right.
And, you know, the people who are going to have the toughest time with this are the so-called Judeo-Christians who like to point to Galatians 3.28 in the Bible, where it says, in Christ there is neither male nor female, nor Jew nor Greek, nor Sibian, nor any of that.
And they use that scripture to say that Christ has obliterated all distinctions between all people for all time.
Well, if that's true, then they should have no problem with saying that, you know, in Christ, there is no male or female.
So, you know, if you feel like a woman, then you're a woman.
It doesn't matter what your plumbing says.
You're a woman.
You feel like a woman.
And if you're a woman and you feel like a man, well, then you're a man.
The people who are having the biggest problem with this are the Judeo-Christians who have raped Galatians 3.28.
And then, James, there are issues of using that same argument as a legal defense.
For example, if someone beats the snot out of you and you're a white person, you know you're not going to get any help at all.
But if you claim to be a gay person, well, that automatically gets you help.
That gets you the full force of the pervert community.
Well, and that's what this person has gotten.
If, in fact, it is a transvestite, no one seems to know for sure.
But either way, we've got our bases covered at thepolitical cesspool.org.
We're providing commentary no matter how it shakes out.
You mentioned some of the comments, though, Winston, that we love so much, the fans of the show going to the blog and commenting on the articles there.
One of them just came in.
I'm on the website right now, as I said, in front of the computer here at the studio.
And it reads, I think McDonald's 365 black campaign means that there will be an act of violence committed by blacks at at least one U.S. McDonald's every day throughout the year.
If you don't witness or hear of black violence and misbehavior at at least one McDonald's each day, then Ronal McDonald will give you a free happy meal.
So maybe that's what it was all about.
But listen, I want to move on to something.
If there is something more serious than crime and death, and that's what we've been talking about, you know, beating someone almost to death, it is Easter and the promise of Easter.
But before we get to that, with a little closing word here on this holiday edition of the Political Cesspool, we want to take a quick call from our friend Rocky in Florida.
This is two weeks in a row to hear from Rocky, and we wanted to be sure to move his call to the head of the line, hear what he had to say.
Rocky, welcome back.
Hey, good to be back.
Good to be back.
What can I do for you, my friend?
You know, it's hilarious.
I've listened for six years, and just the past month, I started listening live and calling into the show.
Anyways, two quick things.
First thing is, you know, the part about race being a legal social construct, well, here's my theory on it.
If, you know, liberals want to say that judging people based on their appearances is bad, then at the same time, I say that judging people based on their thought, you know, whether a person is racist or not, judging a person based on his or her thought is equally bad.
Because really, I mean, unless a person is breaking the law, how can you tell them what or what not to think, you know?
Right.
And that's the first point.
And the second point was, you know, I read this on MSN.
I forgot if it was MSN or Yahoo news.
It was hilarious.
One guy was writing an article saying that $5 per gallon of gas is a good thing.
I mean, how inane does a person have to be to actually believe that kind of stuff, you know?
And, you know, here's the part that gets me.
This guy says, quote unquote, it will allow us to exercise, bike, walk more, and lose some weight.
And I was thinking to myself, you know, if that's the case, then climb is a good thing because nothing like running for your life and burning off a few calories.
Do you agree?
Can't outrun those bullets, though.
Yeah, so, anyways, basically, those are my two points.
That's basically it.
Well, listen, buddy, I appreciate you for calling in and offering your comments.
And it's always good to hear from you.
We need to make this a weekly deal.
Yep, take care, man.
All right, Rocky in Florida.
Winston, as I mentioned, now I want to kind of dim the house lights if we can and take a more serious tone here for the last few minutes of the show.
Tomorrow is Easter, and I want to wish from the bottom of my heart, and this is, of course, on behalf of the entire staff and crew of the Political Cesspool radio program, a very happy Easter with friends and family tomorrow, celebrating it, however you may, hunting eggs, having dinner, getting together, going to church.
Easter is the day when most of the Christian world commemorates what is the pivotal point in history, the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
And I ask you to imagine what it must have felt like for his mother and his disciples and the small band of family and friends to watch as he agonizingly gasped for air on the cross.
What was going through their minds as they witnessed the most unspeakable act of injustice the world has ever seen unfold right before their eyes.
How often do we find ourselves now lamenting the slow, grinding death of our nation, our culture and our very flesh and blood kinsmen in this degenerate age?
At our gatherings we recount, and on this show we recount horror upon horror.
As we feel our way of life slipping from our grasp, and even ours.
We must remember the words spoken so long ago at the empty tomb.
He is not here.
He is risen to the degree.
Those words resonate in our hearts.
They strike fear in the hearts of our enemies.
The more we take them to heart, the more who oppose us lose heart.
They know instinctively what we too easily forget.
It doesn't take everyone and sometimes it only takes one.
We don't have to take over the Republican Party or the media.
We don't have to outnumber them.
It only takes one and it can happen, because it did happen and he promised that we would do even greater things than he, because he would Working through us.
Take the time to ponder that promise and have a very blessed and happy Easter from your friends here at the Political Cesspool Radio Program.
And we're going to post that short commentary that I pinned to the website tomorrow, along with a little picture of my family.
And we encourage you to take a look at it.
And indeed, everyone, happy Easter.
Remember that hope does spring eternal.
And I am a glasses half-full type guy.
Yes, we're fighting retreating battles right now, but just look at the impact we've made through this radio program with your kind support.
What, you know, the national headlines that we make all the time.
This little program is making a fissure, is making a chink in the armor of those who oppose us.
And I'm talking about lavishly funded left-wing organizations.
We've cracked through the mainstream media by hosting and presenting this nationally syndicated radio show each and every week here on the Liberty News Radio Network.
But it's not just that.
Because of our success, we're able to be routinely featured on CNN, major newspapers and magazines all around the world.
It's what we do because of you.
We have a lot of hope, and I ask that you take hope this Easter that the best days of America could still be in her future.
That's it for the show tonight, ladies and gentlemen.
Thank you for joining us this evening.
We look forward to seeing you here again, same time, same place, next week as the Political Assess Poll wraps up Confederate History Month 2011 right here.
And we'll be looking forward to seeing you at that time on behalf of the entire staff and crew of the Political Assess Pool Radio Program.
Bill Rowland, Winston Smith, Eddie Miller, and Keith Alexander.
I'm your host, James Edwards.
God bless everybody.
Live life the way we do without retreat, surrender, or apology.
Thanks for joining us tonight in the Political Cesspool.
