Welcome to the Political Cesspool, known worldwide as the South's foremost populous radio program.
And here to guide you through the murky waters of the Political Cesspool is your host, James Edwards.
Welcome back to the third and final hour of tonight's live broadcast of the Political Cesspool Radio Program.
It is Saturday evening, December 12th, 2009, inching ever so closer to that blessed and glorious day of Christmas.
Welcome back again to the program, everyone, as we come to you live tonight from our flagship station, AM1380 WLRM Radio in Memphis, Tennessee, and going out to our AMFM affiliate stations of the Liberty News Radio Network, LibertyNewsRadio.com and thepolitical cesspool.org.
We are having great fun tonight.
James Edwards here with you again.
Winston Smith co-hosting with me for these final two hours tonight.
We are having an open mic night.
And it just so happens there in the last break.
Of course, at the top of each hour, we have an extended break as we get the burst of national news.
We lost a couple of callers, so there are a couple of open telephone lines on our busy, very busy phone lines this evening.
So give us a call if you want to chime in over the course of the next hour.
We'd love to hear from you, as we've heard from so many people already this evening.
1-866-986-News, that's the number.
Give us a call.
1-866-986 News.
And, you know, since our inception back in 2004, this show has always prided itself on delivering to you a very unapologetic, paleoconservative commentary on all of the issues of the political spectrum, be it trade, foreign policy, immigration, you name it, we talk about it.
We do talk also about issues involving, I guess you would call it a racial animus.
And we talk about it because we believe that there are some very serious issues that involve the racial aspect or that is a very significant contributing factor into the discussion.
And I think we are the only mainstream radio program that delivers commentary on race from the perspective that we come from, which is, I guess you could say, pro-white.
We're certainly not anti-anyone, but we're not going to allow ourselves to be guilted into believing that we are so evil.
And I think that we speak for a vast majority of middle-class populist European Americans.
We certainly don't represent the, I don't want to get into labeling, but the more radical factors in the white spectrum, you know, the skinheads and so on and so forth.
That's not who we represent.
But you hear the people who call in.
These are good, God-fearing, working-class, tax-paying middle Americans.
And to serve, ladies and gentlemen, as your voice is an honor, an honor that we will never forget.
We are five years into this program's run.
We're only continuing to get stronger and bigger.
And we hope that we're still here with you 15 years from now.
But I never want to let an opportunity pass by where I don't let you know how eternally grateful we are to have your support and to serve as your one, if not only, mainstream media voice.
And that being said, Winston, I want to cover this before we go back to the phones.
It was what I brought up here in the second hour, these two conflicting news stories.
I'm just going to read them both verbatim and then toss it over to you.
The first of which is a report involving the United States Department of Energy.
Now, the United States Department of Energy says there's no such thing as race.
And we have this page on our blog about the alleged non-existence of race that for some reason is on a Department of Energy website.
Now, why the Department of Energy has a say on this one way or the other is beyond me.
But what they say is that DNA studies do not indicate that separate classifiable subspecies exist within modern humans.
While different genes for physical traits, the U.S. Department of Energy states, such as skin and hair color, can be identified between individuals, they say no consistent pattern of genes across the human genome exists to distinguish one race from another.
There is also, according to the U.S. Department of Energy, no genetic basis for divisions of human ethnicity.
Really, Winston, no such thing as race exists.
Then I wonder when someone at the Department of Energy will please inform the people at the Justice Department's Civil Rights Division and the Equal Opportunity Employment Office that no such thing as race exists.
I wonder why they don't just kind of coordinate this effort to stamp it all out.
I mean, if they want to stamp it out, they need to get rid of these other two departments.
Wouldn't you say Civil Rights Division and Equal Employment Opportunity Office?
The U.S. Department of Energy needs to do them a favor and tell them that race doesn't exist because we're all the same, right?
You would think that, James, but the fact is that race does exist.
By the way, the people who most vociferously claim that race doesn't exist are the ones who are always trying to stamp it out.
They're trying to stamp out something that doesn't exist.
But James, a few years ago, Stanford University in California, hardly a bastion of conservatism, did a study in which I think they interviewed some 4,000 people and they were asked to identify their race.
And they did a DNA test and they discovered that very nearly 100%, 99.99 something, percent of the people surveyed could correctly identify their race based on their DNA.
And this is from Stanford University that said that, you know, race exists and people are able to identify their own race.
Nature recognizes race.
That's why we have, there's a field that is trying to get off the ground called ethnomedicine because some types of medicines, some types of medical practices work better on some races than on others.
There are some drugs that work better on black people and there are some drugs that work better on white people.
Nature recognizes race.
Everything in this universe recognizes race except for our own silly-ass government.
Well, that's not entirely well that well, I mean, they realize it when it comes to giving out special treatment to the protected classes.
But here's the thing that gets me, Winston.
The United States Department of Energy, now, again, why the Department of Energy, of all things, is issuing some sort of a medical report on the human genome.
Nevertheless, they say race doesn't exist.
Now, get what's going on in Chicago.
Get what's going on in Chicago.
Blacks in Chicago are denouncing the Chicago Public Schools admission policy as racist.
Now, that shouldn't be surprising, as we know everything is racist.
But the blacks in Chicago are denouncing this admissions policy because it doesn't take race into account.
You heard me right, ladies and gentlemen.
It goes, like I said before, racism is a funny thing.
On Monday, it means one thing.
On Tuesday, it means the exact opposite.
The head of the Chicago public school system, Ron Huberman, says his hands are tied and he's not allowed to favor blacks by taking race into account because of Supreme Court decisions.
If it were up to him, of course he would favor blacks and punish whites, but he doesn't want a lawsuit.
But blacks are angry because they believe seats in good schools should go to blacks and whites shouldn't be allowed to have them.
They're not very happy with Huberman, but they best watch themselves because Ron Huberman himself is a very privileged, oppressed minority.
He is, I guess, Winston, what you would call royalty when it comes to political correctness.
He's not only openly homosexual, he's also the son of Holocaust survivors.
So you can't really trump that when you take political correctness into account.
But the blacks in Chicago are upset because race is not taken into account.
And because it's not taken into account, they can't tap into the benefits that come with affirmative action, such as placement into schools and scholarships, so on and so forth.
That's what they're wanting.
They can't do it in Chicago because they are told now by apparently some sort of Supreme Court decision that race isn't a determining factor for them.
Well, James, that sort of ties into what our last caller was asking.
It ties in in a very loose way, but I'd like to try to make the connection nonetheless.
He was afraid that when his children, and when, frankly, James, when your children and mine, in a few years, when they are the minority, will they be able to access the benefits of being in a minority, of being a minority?
And the answer to that is already no.
There are many large municipalities, like Baltimore, Maryland, for one, and they are very quietly going through their statutes and laws, and they are taking out the word minority when it comes to benefits and crimes, hate crimes, and they are putting in the phrase people of color.
And folks, I want you to get this through your heads, and I want you to start letting your blood boil whenever you hear that racist, bigoted, exclusive phrase, people of color.
That's the equivalent of a sign that says, no whites allowed.
And I thought that such signs of intolerance went out with Jim Crow and those signs that famously said, no blacks allowed or no Negroes allowed.
However, that phrase, people of color, that is a huge sign that no whites allowed.
And it's being codified in law.
They're taking out that phrase minority and they're putting in people of color.
Winston, hold that thought.
Got to take a timeout.
When we come back, we're going to start answering the phones again.
1866-986 News.
Stay tuned, everybody.
Don't go away.
There's more Political Sesspool coming your way right after these messages.
Welcome back to Get On The Political Sesspool.
Call us on James's Dime, toll-free, at 1-866-986-6397.
And here's the host of the Political Cesspool, James Edwards.
Once again, Winston, I am told that the phone lines are absolutely jammed, so let's start sifting through all the good people out there in the sea of humanity that makes up the political cesspool listening audience.
Let's go now to Idaho.
We're bouncing all around the country tonight.
Wes in Idaho has been patiently waiting for a long time.
Wes, thanks for calling in.
What can we do for you tonight?
Yeah, I wanted to comment on Cheetah Woods, or excuse me, I'm at Tiger Woods.
Isn't the white gene recessive in the case of miscegenation?
Winston, you might be better suited to answer that than myself.
I just really don't know the answer.
I couldn't quite answer.
What did he say?
He asked, in the case of Tiger Woods, is the white gene recessive in a product of miscegenation.
It usually is.
In fact, black people are very proud to trust the notion that in such cases, they won't say the white gene is recessive.
They will loudly proclaim and proudly proclaim that the black gene is dominant.
So that does seem to be the case.
Well, it explains people that are half white, half black, or even a quarter or 1 sixteenth Afro-American people of color.
The situation appears to be to me that they usually always identify with that part of their genetics that is the color.
They identify with their color portion and not their white portion.
Oh, you're absolutely right.
And I've noticed that myself.
And what that reminds me of is, you know, white people used to be land-based because in some areas of the country, they had a law that said if you had one drop of black blood in you, then you were considered black.
You weren't considered white.
And they say that that was racist.
And that's one of those things that's held up as an example of the evil, wicked Jim Crow era.
One drop of black blood in you, then you were black.
However, when they make that point, whenever they point to a Tiger Woods or a Barack Hussein Obama, they are very proud to say, see, he's black.
Even though Barack Obama is only about 10% black, he's mostly white.
He's mostly non-black.
And yet, when it comes to people like Tiger Woods and Barack Hussein Obama, that one drop of black blood, they are proud to proclaim them as their own.
Just let it be a warning to all the white women out there that the white race creates the most livable countries in the world.
That's just the way it is.
You can go to the web and put in the most livable and least livable countries in the world, and they are dominantly, absolutely white countries that are the most livable.
And just a small portion of blood of color, that person will almost always identify with the colored blood.
I'll let you get to the next caller.
Just wanted to make one point.
Thank you for your thoughts and for your insight.
We appreciate the call.
I do want to say this, Winston.
I would like to comment on that last thing he said.
He's right for the most part, that white people, the white race, do create the most livable places in the world.
And every year, the faiths in America bear that out.
The best places to live are predominantly white places, and the most dangerous places are predominantly black places.
You compare Somalia to Denmark, and what's the difference?
Well, this goes with one of the sayings that I even was able to manage to infuse into one of the CNN appearances, and this was the Keith Alexander original.
But he says you can't have a first world nation with a third world population.
So as we continue to import by legal or illegal immigration, the people of the third world, we will begin to transform into a third world nation.
First world nations have first world populations.
It is the people that make the nations.
It is not a set of circumstances.
That's what we said was a generalization.
It's a very, very good generalization.
But I would like to point out that Japan is an exception.
They are not white people, and yet they are very civilized.
They create a very good society, and they do that without white skin, and they do it without Christianity.
So there's something else at work there.
I think it's just a plain old sense of nationalism.
The Japanese are very proud people, and they know what makes a society work.
Well, on the other hand, they have no self-respect, and all they know how to do is engage in violence.
And, well, for the most part, they engage in violence.
And wherever they congregate in large numbers, chaos and anarchy and bloodshed ensue.
Well, Jared Taylor, getting back to the comment you made on Japan, and you're quite right.
Jared Taylor would love to talk to you about that.
I'd love to talk to him.
Well, Jared Taylor of American Renaissance, he's written quite extensively about the success of Japan.
And, of course, they are a very homogenous nation and very racially aware and oriented.
And certainly that would be, I'm sure, not a small secret to their success as well.
But I believe half the country has tuned into the show.
And perhaps everyone in Arkansas, back to Arkansas, we go.
Our third caller of the night from Arkansas, Tom.
Tom in Arkansas, are you still there?
Hello, Tom.
Hello, yes.
Tom, you are on the air.
Great.
Hey, James.
Hey, Winston.
Hi.
Hey, y'all are doing a great job.
You're hitting all the nails on the head, that's for sure.
Well, thank you so much, Tom, for the compliment and for taking the time to call in.
Could you speak up just a little bit?
We're having a hard time hearing you.
Okay, well, sure.
I'm just following up on a comment really from last hour when Todd called in.
And kind of what I was trying to go back on was everything that you've talked about so far is, you know, you were talking about finances and so forth, and I've donated to your show a few times and bought some DVDs and whatnot.
But I think on a bigger scale, how does it go from that?
I mean, you know, like Jewry Town, you know, the Jews are all the big conglomerate monies and so forth in Washington to Hollywood.
I mean, there's got to be an answer there somewhere.
It's really come down to Jew versus Gentile, good versus evil.
I mean, well, I mean, I know that's a broader well, I would say that I would like, and I know where you're getting at, and I think the disclaimer has to be put, and it's a small disclaimer, but you do have certainly, I think, with regard to Hollywood, especially, a very, and this is, again, just very, the census could tell you this.
It's just a very common sense fact that most Jews are liberal.
They will tell you that very proudly so.
I believe upwards of 80% vote Democratic.
Most of them gave their money to Obama, and that's how they, how he even got out of Chicago being nothing more than an organizer.
Yeah, well, the phenomenon of Jewish backing.
The phenomenon of Barack Obama is certainly one for the books, how a man so quickly could rise from absolute obscurity and become the president of the United States is a testament to their power.
And when I say there, in this instance, I am talking to certainly a very radicalized sect of Zionists instead of your garden variety Jewish person.
But certainly, these are the people, this radical sect, this far-leftist sect, these are the people in control of, as Pat Buchanan said, you know, it's Israeli-occupied territory up there in Capitol Hill, but these are the ones in charge of Hollywood.
They're certainly the ones financing Obama.
Now, I know you had a question in there somewhere, and we only have about 45 seconds left before the next break.
Well, I mean, what's the message?
How can we turn this thing around?
I mean, there's got to be a common denominator somewhere in there that from that area, that it just is obvious that everyone that got him elected was Jewish or Zionist background.
Well, I'll tell you what, Tom, you're exactly right.
And to answer the question would take more time than we have in this program.
But I am going to call Keith Alexander tomorrow.
And we're going to set up an entire expose on answering your question at the top of next week's show.
But stay tuned, everybody.
I'm going to pick up where we left off when we come back.
I'm not cutting the answer short.
I'll be right back.
On the show and express your opinion in the Political Says pool,
call us toll-free at 1-866-986-6397.
All right, welcome back to the show.
If you've had a hard time getting in tonight, I apologize.
We are doing open mic night.
We have been over the course of the last two hours.
We still have a few minutes left in tonight's live broadcast, and we want to hear from you.
It's not Sunday yet.
Call in.
I know some of you have probably tried to call, and the lines are just ringing off the hook.
We might not have had an open line.
I do think there's one or two lines available right now if you want to call in.
There's some other people in the queue.
We're going to try to get to as many of these last calls as we can.
I'm going to give you the opportunity to call in for one more segment: 1-866-986-News.
Again, if you've had trouble getting through tonight with our switchboard, try calling in now.
1-866-986-News.
And to answer Tom's question, Tom from Arkansas from the previous segment, he brings up some very interesting points, some very astute observations.
And as I was saying to him before the last break, I'm going to talk with Keith Alexander tomorrow.
And I think it would be appropriate because he is now at least the second person to ask what can we do and how have they done it.
And we're going to kind of plot the course, I guess, or trace their course, the course they plotted.
And we're going to start in the 1950s and talk about how liberalism or Jewish influenced the Jewish influence to liberalism and the takeover of America's institutions of influence, academia, education, government, entertainment, so on and so forth.
How it happened, how they reached critical mass, and how the prevailing ethos of pop culture has supplanted that of Christianity and conservatism of decades past.
That's what we're going to talk about next week.
How they did it and what we can do to regain control of our institutions and reclaim America's destiny.
That is forthcoming next week, so you can go ahead and plan on hearing Keith Alexander's commentary on that during the first hour.
We will also, as we do every show before Christmas, our final broadcast before Christmas each year, we always give to you a biblical accounting of the Christmas stories.
So we will be sharing with you the biblical story of Christmas.
And that's just something that we think is a special story with special meaning for our people and certainly for your humble hosting staff.
And it's just something we like to do before Christmas every year.
So that and more will be among the highlights of next week's show.
So already something to look forward to a week before Christmas.
I can't wait.
Yeah, you can wait.
Can you instantly?
Oh, I can.
It's exciting.
All right, good.
Well, I can't wait either.
I thought you were being smart again.
But you're always smart to me in private.
You're always very.
Give me a smart word.
Give me an intelligent-sounding word.
About intelligence.
Okay.
You're always very intelligent and well-mannered.
Okay.
Back to the thoughts.
I think they're having a cesspool watch party over in Arkansas.
Out of all the phone calls we've had come in tonight.
This is the fourth out of the state of Arkansas.
I think everybody in Arkansas tuned in.
Teresa in Arkansas, thank you so much for calling in.
What can we do for you?
Well, I was just going to make a comment on some of the phone calls I've been listening to and then ask a question also.
You know, we hear so much about how that they have the million men marches and the rallies and whether that a person of color is in the wrong or the right, their brothers will rush to their aid and be there.
And, you know, they've got Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson rushing to make sure that their rights are upheld.
But there's so many of the white people that when one of our brothers gets in trouble, we don't have the time to go help them most of the time because we're so busy working to be off of welfare.
And, you know, as my grandpa and my father would have said out of the cheese line, that we don't have the time to go do that.
And then I wonder sometimes, is it our fault?
I mean, are we so used to having to fend for ourselves that we don't call upon our white brothers and sisters to help us?
Or, you know, is it a fault in our nature?
Or are we just so used to having to stand for ourselves that we do it without even thinking to ask for help?
Probably the best call and best questions of the night right there.
And I say that with a lot of reverence because every call we've had tonight has been outstanding.
But Winston, what she's asked and the points that she's made certainly resonate with me.
I see it every day.
But I want you to take that call, Winston.
This nice lady, I didn't catch her name.
What is it?
Teresa.
Teresa, that was an excellent call, an excellent question.
And she's right.
We are busy.
Life is burdensome.
Even for your humble hosting staff, we all have jobs and we all work.
And it's burdensome sometimes to carry out our duties as political cesspool hosts.
And if it's that for us, it's even more so for people who don't have as much time as we do.
And we don't have a lot of time.
But yes, you're right, Teresa.
White people, we have some character flaws.
And one of those flaws is we are very individualistic.
We will look out for our own before anybody else.
Second of all, let's face it, it is our taxes that are supporting this country.
It's certainly not Negro taxes.
It's certainly not illegal alien taxes.
It's our taxes.
And the more money they take from us, well, the more we have to work in order to support our own families.
But then the more money we make to support our own families, the more money they take from taxes.
It's a very vicious cycle.
And, you know, we white people, we work.
We are proud of our work.
We are proud of being able to work.
It goes back to the old Protestant ethic, the Protestant work ethic, where we see work as akin to our worship.
It is a character flaw.
And I really don't know how to overcome it except to say, you know, everybody can do something, a little bit.
Everybody just do a little bit.
And the most important thing is to just be what you are.
Be a white person and start to develop heroic aspects in your character.
Whenever you do see a white person who needs help, you need to help them.
You need to be ready.
You need to set aside some money so that you can help your white brothers and sisters when they need it.
You need to, what's the word, you need to form up.
You need to have some kind of society to take care of each other.
You know, she kind of took me by surprise with that question, James.
There's a lot of depth to it.
Well, again, it's one of those.
No credit for it.
My husband was, we was listening, and he said, you know, he had called in earlier and was asked the same question.
And then it was coming up on a break and he didn't have time.
But, you know, with him, he works hard to provide for us.
And there's not enough there at the end of the month to make all the bills and everything.
We stress and worry because, you know, I mean, we don't want to ask people for help.
It's just, it don't feel right to go to somebody and say, can I borrow 20 bucks till payday?
You know, because we're ashamed that we haven't done enough.
But the minorities, they don't have a problem asking for help.
They're standing there with their hand, whether they work today in their life or not.
And to me, that is why, you know, the white people have been so busy building this country and making it to where they can hold their hand in.
And they have no shame.
I mean, they'll ask you for 20 bucks if they know that you're starving.
You know, they have no shame.
And America, I think that's why America has fallen so fast and so hard is we have taken the shame out of America.
I mean, America is completely shameless anymore.
It is.
They have no shame.
That's sad.
That's sad.
Certain segments of America certainly have no shame.
And this, again, harkens back, Teresa, to something that I've said time and time again on this program.
And paraphrasing the Greeks, all things in moderation, even a virtue when used in excess, can be a detriment.
And so has been our benevolence.
We have been too good to everyone else.
And we do have this sense of pride and honor to where we won't do these things.
And as Winston said, it's a question.
It's a basic question.
It's a simple question that you would think would elicit a simple answer.
But the questions you've asked really deserve more time, as I told some of the previous callers, than we have a lot of tonight, than we have available tonight.
We're going to talk about this for the entire first hour next week, again, with Keith Alexander.
How did it happen?
What can we do to change the course here and rectify some of these things that have gone wrong for America?
But to address some of the other points you've made, there's just so much in play here.
The media certainly inflates the negatives or what we would perceive to be negative.
The million man march, you know, there might have only been 300 people there, but they zoom in on the 300 and then they use stock footage to inflate the numbers of our opposition.
And then it appears as though, oh my God, everybody is going for this.
There's no way we're going to be able to stop it.
I might as well just go home and work and tend to my own farm and not worry about anything else.
Also, as you mentioned, yeah, we do work too much.
We work too much.
We can't get on a bus at a moment's notice and go join these things because we've got to make ends meet.
And then, to a lesser extent, let's face it, we're used to losing.
It started in the war between the states and we haven't won anything since.
Everything's been taken from us slowly, but surely, ever since then.
We've got to take a break.
We can change it.
We can change it.
I have hope.
We'll be back right after this.
The political cesspool, guys.
We'll be back right after these messages.
We'll return.
Jump in the political cesspool with James and the gang.
Call us tonight at 1-866-986-6397.
And here's the host of the Political Cess Pool, James Edwards.
What a great night, as it always is when we open up the phone lines and hear from you, the ladies and gentlemen, listening audience, our extended family.
And I just got to say again, and I know I've made mention of this earlier in the program tonight, but are you hearing these calls that are coming in from around the country, my friends?
These are our people.
You are not alone.
You are not alone.
We have stood to fight.
And in creating this radio program five years ago, we took a stand and decided to fight.
And as we have come to fight, others are now coming to fight with us.
I only wish that everyone out there who listens to this program occasionally or weekly, the people who are tuning in for the first time, the people who have never missed a broadcast in years, I only wish you were privy to the mail that comes into this radio program, to the emails that come into this radio program.
And tonight you're getting just a brief sampling of some of the phone calls that are coming into this program.
And I tell you, we are not screening any calls.
We are taking as many calls as we can take.
We're not asking people who they are or what they want to talk about.
We are taking calls as they come in.
They could be pro.
They could be con, they could be hostile.
They could be friendly.
People agree with us.
People agree with us, and they agree with the thoughts of this radio program.
And if you can agree with the thoughts of this radio program, a show that pulls no punches, then you are not alone.
And I will tell you, the success of this radio program is based upon the fact that we tell the truth in love.
We try to tackle the so-called controversial issues tastefully and professionally.
The purpose of this radio program is to offend no one.
I don't hate anyone.
But what is love if not loving people in your own family a little bit more than everyone else?
And that's what we do here with this show.
We try to tell the truth.
We try to present to you a program that is unique and stands out from the other voices that are out there.
And I think we've done that.
And again, I say, just listen to the calls that are coming in tonight.
That should give you hope as it gives me hope.
And as long as there are other people out there, we can make a difference.
There are enough people out there still in America today, as dreary as it is, as bleak as it is, as dark as it is in the year 2009 compared to what it was in decades past.
All hope is not lost.
And I hope that that impression is being made upon you as these phone calls continue to come in and you hear these people from different parts of the country who are on board with the right way of thinking, with the American way of thinking.
Winston, you just can't say enough about the people who make up our listening audience, can you?
No, you can't.
That was well said, James.
I appreciate what you just said.
I also want to compliment Theresa on her questions and her concerns.
She had a very sisterly concern for her people, and I appreciate that.
She also made me think.
I want to revise what I had said earlier.
I had said that white people do have a character flaw about working and things like that.
Folks, that is not a character flaw.
Don't ever think that your desire to work and support your own is a character flaw.
It is a character flaw to not to want to do that.
It is a character flaw to not want to work hard and not to use your work as a point of worship of your God.
It is the other races, particularly the black race, who has the character flaw of not wanting to work.
They don't want to.
And that's why, Teresa, they have no trouble with demanding money from everybody else.
They have no trouble with demanding the charity, if you can actually demand charity.
That is their character flaw.
But we do not have the character flaw.
I guess if we do have a character flaw, it is that we have allowed ourselves to be taken advantage of.
We have allowed people who hate us to use our virtue against us.
And that's what we need to work on.
We need to not fall prey to being shamed or guilted into supporting people who hate us to the detriment of our own people.
Well, Winston, you said something in there that I would like to echo.
I very rarely say anything on this program that is not documented fact.
I very rarely cite a story that we haven't referenced on our blog with some corroborating evidence or linking to an original source, something that I have researched and have proved it verifiable.
But I'm about to do this just to give people an idea.
But I set that up by saying I can't substantiate what I'm about to say.
I can only pass it on as secondhand or hearsay.
But it's not coming from an obscure source unless you would consider National Public Radio to be an obscure source.
Certainly they're not very honest.
But I would take them as being honest at this because it doesn't serve their interest to lie about it.
But National Public Radio, where it's going over the unemployment statistics in the United States, and I can't remember exactly what they said the quote-unquote official unemployment statistics are in the country today, what, 12%, 10%, something like that.
They went on to mention that the unemployment rate of Hispanic Americans, and I don't know if that includes the illegal aliens or not, probably, is somewhere in the mid-30% range.
30% give or take of the what they call Hispanic Americans are unemployed.
51% of African Americans are unemployed, according to national public radio.
That is in a day and age where they can get any job they want, particularly government jobs, affirmative actions and quotas and set-asides.
And it's absolutely preposterous that 51% of American blacks would still be unemployed unless, as Winston said, the majority of them just don't want to work.
So Winston said earlier, a lot of them just don't work or don't want to work.
Well, National Public Radio proves Winston right in saying that, again, in the era of quotas, set asides and affirmative action, 51% of American blacks are still unemployed.
That is, again, I just heard that on the radio, NPR.
I don't have any sites or sources here other than what I heard.
But if that is accurate, if that is accurate, that is absolutely, to me, Winston, astounding.
I think it's unconscionable for me.
51% more than the illegal, I mean, more illegal aliens are working, apparently, than American blacks who have been here for four centuries.
Well, James, to me, it's just uncomfortable that any group of people, any race, would allow themselves to be demeaned in that way.
As you said, they can get any job they want thanks to quotas and set-asides.
And if you're black, you can get a government job with little or no trouble whatsoever.
It's just a matter of if you want to take a few minutes to fill out the application.
If you're black, you can get a job with the government.
But, you know, they don't want to do it.
They have this opportunity and they don't want to take advantage of it.
And yet they will say that they will blame racism for not being able to find work.
They ought to be ashamed of themselves.
Well, again, that's all according to NPR.
But I will say, I mean, at the end of the day, again, this is my warped white thinking coming into play here.
But I think each man is accountable for his own actions.
No one is responsible for the circumstances in your life except for yourself.
I mean, you can be born into a cruddy situation, but you can pull yourself up as so many Americans have done and make your lot in life better.
But the government and their endless pandering to minorities with welfare and everything else have to be somewhat accountable, if you're looking at this objectively, for this phenomenon.
I mean, you know, they have taught these minorities, these blacks, that it's okay not to work because we're going to take care of you.
We, the white taxpayer, are going to take care of you.
And that's something that I think it's a lesson they've learned all too well.
And I think that, to an extent, to a lesser extent, would contribute to the fact that over 50%, according to NPR, of black Americans are unemployed.
But at the end of the day, it's no one's fault but their own if they don't want to work.
And it's not my fault that they can't get a job.
Certainly not anymore, to say the least.
But with that, that's going to have to be the final word.
I just thought that was a pretty interesting statistic, and it was one that I had almost forgotten about.
It wasn't long ago that I heard that.
I believe I was traveling back from out of town about three or four weeks ago when I heard that.
So it's recent news, and that's a recent statistic.
You were speeding 2.3.
Yeah, if I was driving, I was speeding.
You know that.
But Winston, we are out of time.
What another great show tonight.
If you were still waiting on the line and we couldn't get to you, we apologize.
We'll try to do better next time.
We try to let every caller have their say.
We don't get to as many calls as some of the other major talk shows do.
They let people talk for two seconds and then they cut them off.
But it's not how we do things here in the Cesspool.
As you know, we do things a little differently.
We've got a very special show for you coming up next week.
I think our Christmas special.
Some great guests.
And Keith, again, is going to have a good first hour for you.
And I'll be back then.
And for the rest of the staff, Winston Smith, Eddie the Bombardier Miller, and Bill Rowland, we wish you a very good night, ladies and gentlemen.
Have a safe week until we're all back together again next Saturday here on Libyan News Radio.
For my good friend Winston Smith, I am James Edwards.
Good night.
May God bless you and keep you during this very special Christmas season.
And remember to live life the way we do without retreat, surrender, or apology.
Good night.
