Good afternoon, Rumblers.
This is producer Tate Tate Brown holding it down for Tim Poole for your noon Timcast live show.
Tim's voice is going again.
This dude has been grinding.
He grinded out like nine segments yesterday.
Fortunately, it cost the voice.
These things happen.
These things happen when you're in the commentary space.
There's only so much you can do, especially with another Culture War Live event coming up.
He's got to lock in.
So holding it down from today.
We got some big stories.
Obviously, the big story today is the Trump census debacle.
Will Trump get the new census in without illegals on it?
Let's dive into the story.
We'll see what the outcome could be.
That's going to be big.
Also, Maha.
Yeah, that's right.
Maha, make America healthy again.
RFK, Rollins, they've been cooking up.
They've been sorting out the snapped situation.
People have been buying a lot of junk food on Snap EBT for years.
People are mad about it.
There's some great videos out there that we'll take a look at.
But yeah, we got a bunch of stories.
But before we get into it, let's take a look at our sponsors here.
Boonies, Boonies Skateboards.
We got the uncancelable board.
Now, the lore behind this board.
Oh, hang on.
Let me see.
I'm not disciplined enough to stay in the little frame thing here.
The uncancelable board.
I don't know if you know the lore here.
This was a skating icon.
I'm not a skater, but I've grown to appreciate this.
This was a skating icon by the brand Independent for decades, for decades.
It was iconic.
People had tattoos of it.
They had shirts of it.
And in recent years, it got canceled, I guess, because it looks kind of like maybe an iron cross.
I don't know.
But people got scared.
So they canceled the logo or whatever.
Well, we're taking it back, right?
This is a new era.
Cancel culture is over.
And this is exhibit A. We're taking back the logo.
We got the uncancelable board here.
You got to get you one.
This thing is sick.
That's kind of a middle finger to cancel culture when they really think about it.
So I'd recommend picking one up.
Even if you're not a skater, it's still about sending a message, right?
You can put it on your wall.
I don't know what you want to do with it, but I would recommend grabbing one.
Head over to boonies, shop.boonieshq.com.
Get you one.
We also got the Culture War podcast live.
This is the triple.
We've done the triple crown.
We got the third, the third show coming up on Saturday.
This is going to be a big show, so you got to grab your tickets.
It's the feminism debate, right?
This is going to be, this is going to be probably the most hot, the most tense.
It's going to get a little, it's going to get a little spicy.
We got Myron Gaines.
We got Kat Temp, and we got Kyla Turner.
We did talk to Kat Tempf for position.
The question is, is feminism bad?
Has feminism destroyed society?
Has feminism destroyed America?
And Kat Timp's position is no.
And Myron Gaines, probably quite predictable what his take is.
So yeah, I'd recommend being there.
You got to see it.
So grab you some tickets coming up on Saturday.
The preferred seating sold out, but we should still have quite a bit.
Man, I don't know.
I don't know how many general admission seats we have left, but get them now because there's, I think, a good chance this thing will sell out quite soon.
So yeah, head on over to TimcastEvents.com, get you some tickets.
Let's get into this first story.
And shout out Steven Crowder for the raid.
Sometimes I forget.
See, I'm a rookie, so sometimes I forget these things.
Steven Crowder, appreciate you for the raid, man.
Let's get in it from the postmillennial breaking.
Trump orders a new census that does not count illegal immigrants.
In an early morning truth social post on Thursday, President Donald Trump called for a new census that only counts American citizens and not those who are, quote, in our country illegally.
Some congressional lawmakers have also called for this measure to be implemented as the counting of illegal immigrants in many states boosts the numbers of House representatives for those states.
Quote, I have instructed our Department of Commerce to immediately begin work on a new and highly accurate census based on modern day facts and figures.
And importantly, using the results and information gained from the presidential election of 2024, people who are in our country illegally will not be counted in the census.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Side note, I love, thank you for your attention to this matter.
I've been signing off text messages with this.
Like when I pay rent for my landlord, I sign off with that.
It's just, it really sets the tone for what you're trying to say.
It's a beautiful thing.
So thank you, President Trump, for giving us this great closer for all of our text messages.
The U.S. Census is conducted every 10 years and is used to determine apportionment.
Yeah, that's their word, right?
Apportionment.
It's a good word.
Apportionment in Congress and also to determine the distribution of federal funding to states and localities.
Governments use it for planning purposes as well as in terms of infrastructure, housing, and schools.
It gives a glimpse into the national population makeup.
That's sex, which is blurred for some reason.
Sex and race are among the questions on the census form.
So this is all kicked off with the Texas redistricting, which we've been covering extensively here at Timcast.
Obviously, Greg Abbott is fed up.
He wants to go on the offense.
He's tired of seeing Republicans just play defense or panic, a lot of panickings.
He's gone on the offense.
He's saying, no, if they're going to root our rightful representatives out of their states, we're going to do the same in ours.
So he's gone on the offense.
He wants to call a special session to do mid-decade redistricting, which is, you know, to be fair, is unprecedented, but we live in unprecedented times.
And this has obviously caused a huge meltdown.
And it's rehashed this goal of the Trump administration from the last term, the previous term rather, to implement a census that doesn't count illegal immigrants.
If you remember in 2019, I have the article here from Politico, and this is the article from 2019.
Trump did direct the Department of Commerce to take a census without illegal immigrants.
And the SCODIS obviously struck that down.
Let's just take a trip down memory lane here from Politico.
The Supreme Court on Thursday dealt an unexpected blow to the administration's attempt to add a citizenship question to the 2020 census, prompting a threat by President Donald Trump to delay the count.
In a surprising decision, Chief Justice John Roberts joined the court's liberals in ruling that official explanations for the move were implausible and legally inadequate.
The high court returned the case to lower courts for further action, raising doubts about the administration getting the go-ahead to add the question before the upcoming deadlines to finalize the census questionnaire.
Now, the big tension back in 2019 when this was unfolding was there was a hard deadline for the Trump admin.
They had a certain point in which they had to get all their ducks in a row to conduct the census, and they cut it pretty tight.
Obviously, the SCODIS ended up weighing in.
But the difference between this and now is the deadline for the next census is five years out for four or five years out from now.
So we have plenty of time to provide because the concern of the Supreme Court in 2019, you know, whether you agree or not, their concern was this was politically motivated.
This wasn't actually a matter of law.
They weren't trying to answer a constitutional question or quagmire.
They were just simply trying to achieve something political.
And, you know, regardless of how you feel about that, it does appear to be a little different this go around because obviously after the census, we've seen a lot of a lot of calamity.
This is the big one.
This is from Aiden Buzzetti.
He pointed this out.
The 2020 census significantly overcounted blue states and undercounted red states.
Rhode Island and Minnesota both kept a seat they should have lost.
Colorado got a new seat they shouldn't have at all.
More importantly, Florida lost out on two seats in Texas on one, which would have been a stronger Republican majority.
And here's the map here from Pew Research.
You can see a lot of these states that got undercounted.
I mean, Arkansas, Tennessee, Mississippi, Texas, Florida.
I mean, those are solid red states.
The only blue state that got undercounted was Illinois.
And then if you look at the states here that were overcounted, you have Hawaii, Utah, Minnesota, Ohio, Delaware, New York, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts.
The only red states being solid red being Utah and Ohio.
The rest of them are deep blue, obviously.
Especially Hawaii being overcounted by seven points.
And they're like the, I think they're the bluest state in the country statistically.
So obviously this is a different ballgame from 2019 because the census has clearly demonstrated that there's issues, there's errors that need to be accounted for.
Even besides the question about illegal immigrants, there's a solid justification Here to actually conduct a new census anyway, just to correct this mess.
This is also from Pew Research.
This is kind of getting in the nitty-gritty on what they call unauthorized immigrants, as we call them, patriots, as we call them, illegal immigrants.
You know, there's kind of this back and forth on Twitter: how much of an advantage do Democrats really have by counting illegal immigrants?
Because to be fair, Texas and Florida do have a lot of illegal immigrants as well.
And so, this is research from Pew is what it is.
They're covering the population change, the projected change in congressional seats after the 2020 census.
And they have this column here for unauthorized immigrants.
So, if we conducted the census without unauthorized immigrants, Texas would actually gain one less seat, Florida would gain less seat, California would lose a seat.
But Bama, Minnesota, and Ohio would pick up a seat if we didn't factor this in.
So, is this a game changer for at least for the House?
I mean, we're talking about maybe two or three seats that that adds up because, I mean, if you take a look here at the House, it is pretty tight.
I mean, it's a little too close for comfort here.
You need 218 for a majority.
Republicans have 219.
So, it's pretty tight.
I think, look, we're in a dogfight right now.
We're in a knife fight.
Abbott knows what time it is.
Trump obviously knows what time it is.
And any seat you can pick up is worth it.
This is worth doing.
But it's more importantly, is like what's at stake here when you're talking about should we count illegal immigrants?
Because it's not just for House seats.
I mean, there's a lot of federal funding.
There's a lot of funding in general, a lot of institutions that use census data as an anchor for all the information and data that they use when they're allocating resources.
And when you have illegals on the rolls of these censuses, it's going to cause a lot of issues.
It's going to cause it's going to cause Native Americans to be completely ripped off and rinsed on a lot of different things.
Also, I suspect, I think a big fear, I mean, I think a lot of people think this.
The big fear from Democrats is that if we actually do conduct a census more accurately, I think the official count of illegal immigrants may be far higher than people realize.
This has been speculated by a lot of people for a long time.
I mean, obviously, you see the videos from Los Angeles right after the raids where you had the highway just wide open.
If there truly was 12 million illegals in the country, which is the most mainstream projections, you wouldn't expect an entire city to look like a ghost town after a few ICE raids.
And it's not just people on Twitter speculating this, right?
Yale, this was a study from Yale.
This is from Yale Insights.
Yale study finds twice as many undocumented immigrants as previous estimates.
Generally accepted estimates put the population of undocumented immigrants in the United States at approximately 11.3 million.
A new study using mathematical modeling on a range of demographic and immigration operations data suggests that the actual undocumented immigrant population may be more than 22 million.
Yale, they used, I'll read this paragraph here.
Using mathematical modeling on a range of demographic and immigration operations data, the researchers estimate that there are 22.1 million undocumented immigrants in the United States.
Even using parameters intentionally aimed at producing an extremely conservative estimate, they found a population of 16.7 million documented, undocumented, rather, undocumented immigrants.
You know, I'm not going to read through an entire study here on the air, but we can look at some of the methodology here that they use to come to this, come to this conclusion.
This wasn't just them spitballing, right?
This wasn't them just, you know, walking around a Home Depot and taking a headcount.
They actually, they brought in some, and I mean, we're talking Yale here.
I mean, you really think Yale wants to produce something like this that looks so bad for the left?
Like, this was, I mean, they're probably wincing putting the state out.
It probably caused them tremendous pain.
You almost feel bad for them a little bit.
Anyway, here's some of the metrics that they use to determine.
The big one was population inflows.
This was their main method, their main variable.
Population inflows are decomposed into two streams, quote, undocumented immigrants who have initially entered the country illegally but have overstayed their visas and immigrants who have illegally crossed the border without being apprehended.
So visa overstays, this is actually the big one.
I think when people think about illegal immigration, they assume it's like people on the border with like, you know, like a pole vault and they're just hopping over the over the border.
It's actually a bit more complicated than that these days.
Visa overstays.
Here Yale, they discuss they approximately 41% of undocumented immigrants based on current survey data approach or visa overstays, which translates to a visa overstay population of 4.6 million.
They actually project the overstayers to be less than this because again, this is kind of the conventional thinking of how people arrived illegally into this country.
That is, in our model, most undocumented immigrants are not overstayers.
The model produces an estimate of the number of overstayers below the estimate produced in the conventional approach based on survey data.
So the DHS 2016 rate, specifically 1.1 times that rate, for a conservative estimate to generate as many overstays is the 4.6 million and the 11.3 million estimate.
There's a lot going on here.
Since many overstayers leave or adjust their status within a few months of their visa expiration date, we make a further conservative adjustment and count as overstayers only those individuals who have overstayed for more than one year.
This is where they bump up their estimation is the illegal border crossers.
We estimate illegal border crossers through application of the standard repeated trials.
The model requires input statistics on a total number of border apprehensions, the number of individuals apprehended more than once in a year, and the estimation or the estimates of the deterrence rate.
Look, all this to say, during the Biden years, the amount of border interactions were sky high.
Even Obama, right, people kind of mock him.
They call him the deporter in chief.
But the deportion numbers were heavily inflated purely because he was deporting people that he had already allowed into the country illegally.
Or sometimes even they would deport someone at the border and they would log that as a deportation.
Like the Trump deportations, in large part, are in the interior of the country, right?
They're conducted, they're doing, conducting ICE raids to remove the people versus the Obama one.
I mean, they would like show up, cross the bridge, and then deport them and then take a victory lap.
Like, you know, they're super tight on border security.
You know, there's a lot of information here.
But yes, Yale is pretty is pretty confident.
Look how many projections they have here.
This is the currently widely accepted estimate of what, 11.6, 11.7 million.
And just about every possible, every possible estimate that they gave overshot this, you know, by millions.
And you can just see this.
I mean, there is so many articles over the last decade of school districts and heavily immigrant neighborhoods having huge overflow and class sizes.
Like Queens, New York.
I mean, if you go, if you go on, I lived in Queens for a long time, you'll pass by a townhouse that's like a three, four bedroom, and there'll be 20 people packed in there.
And this is very common, and everyone knows it, and everyone will tell you this.
You don't, there's not really a way to count those people, right?
And so, yeah, I think it's fair to say.
I think it's fair to speculate that the number is far higher than 12 million.
Yale, obviously, they're estimating 22 million.
That's 22 million spots in the United States that require resources, that require infrastructure, that require jobs.
That's 22 million places that are being taken from Native Americans, right?
Americans or even legal immigrants.
It's a spot that's taken up and it's nuking our quality of life.
So all this to say, this Trump census, this is a great thing.
He needs to get this done.
They need to get this across the line.
Even, you know, people are saying, oh, well, it's only going to win one or two seats over.
If anything, it's just so we know where we stand, right?
That's, that's the, and also, like I said before, um, with the federal resources Being reallocated and everything.
There's much more at stake than just a few house seats here, right?
This is setting the tone.
This is prioritizing Native Americans over illegals, which is sad that we even need to do that.
But you look at the Biden admin, that seemed to be the case.
So, all that to say, fingers crossed that we can get this across the finish line soon.
But there's still a lot of pushback, right?
There's still a lot of people that don't know what time it is.
I'll say that.
This is from the post-millennial.
Penske issues statement condemning use of trucks for DHS immigration raids, was silent on use of trucks for human smuggling.
So, I mean, you probably saw the video.
I believe Tim covered it.
We also covered it on IRL.
This DHS raid in Los Angeles, they were packed in the back of a Penske, like a big box Bucks rental truck, maybe U-Haul, where you live.
They all popped out of it.
It was actually, the video was sick.
I don't know if they have the video.
It was super this one too.
Yeah, so do they have the video?
I should have pulled that up.
Anyway, the video was kind of sick.
It looked like a Rainbow Six Siege mission or something.
But anyway, let's get into the article here.
Penske Truck Rental issued a statement Wednesday distancing itself from the use of its vehicles in a recent DHS immigration raid in LA, despite remaining silent on a previous incident where a Penske truck was used in an alleged human smuggling operation.
Here's the quote from Penske, or a statement rather.
Penske Truck Rental is aware of recent reports and videos regarding a Department of Homeland Security operation in Los Angeles.
Penske strictly prohibits the transportation of people in the cargo area of its vehicles under any circumstance.
The company was not made aware that its trucks would be used in today's operation.
It did not authorize this.
Penske will reach out to DHS and reinforce its policy to avoid improper uses of its vehicles in the future.
Let's see if we can find the, yeah.
Following Penske's statement, DHS fired back on X posting.
Care to remind the American people what Penske said when this happened?
And they posted a screenshot of a headline where Border Patrol discovered 58 illegal immigrants crammed inside of a Penske truck during a human smuggling incident.
Also, Pesobiac, you know, dunking on him.
Roger Penske was awarded a presidential medal of freedom, which is hilarious.
And then now he's snaking.
I mean, it's so tough because that's going to be like the big tension, right?
That's going to be the big tension between corporate America and MAGA.
Is corporate America is like fundamentally built on cheap labor.
And so any threat, anything that shifts the national mood more in an anti-immigration direction is a huge threat to the bottom line for a lot of these companies.
I mean, Penske probably in this case, this is probably not that complicated.
They were just feeling the heat.
There was a lot of people mad that, you know, they were using a Penske.
But in the grand scheme of things, it's going to be really tough to win these companies over to the, you know, reduce immigration camp because, yeah, like I said, fundamentally, there's huge profits on the line for them.
And it would be a huge disaster if we cut off the tap and they had hire exclusively Americans.
I mean, could you imagine the horror?
So, yeah, Penske, sad, sad stuff.
That's all I got to say.
You know, grow some plums and back Trump here.
We're trying to save the country.
And maybe we'll use U-Hauls.
Maybe me and the boys, you know, next time we need to have a function, we need to run a truck.
Maybe you'll look at a U-Haul.
I don't know if U-Haul would ever do something like this.
So Psobiak, yep.
Penske hates Americans noted.
So Jeru.
You know who doesn't hate Americans?
Is Brooke Rollins and RFK Jr.
It's actually kind of surprising to see cabinet members not constantly counter signaling American patriots.
It's a beautiful thing.
During the Great Americans Farmers Market, this is from the USDA website.
Secretary Rollins removes unhealthy food from Snap.
So this is actually, this happened a few days ago.
I was also at the farmer's market.
It's really sick.
I don't know if it's still going.
I think it's all week, but you got to get down there.
Saw Big and Rich in concert.
It was pretty sick.
So yeah, you got to get down there if you're in the DC area.
Anyway, yeah, so what was this, Monday?
They signed, Secretary Rollins signed an order to remove unhealthy food from SNAP.
Snap benefits, this is like government subsidized government food subsidies that people use.
But what I loved was the videos that were coming out of this, the meltdown.
This one here, Wall Street Ape shared this.
Yes.
Let's first, let's see.
Let's see what's, I probably should touch on this a little more because I don't know if we reported this.
Let's see here.
Yeah, so prior to these waivers, Snap recipients could buy anything except alcohol, tobacco, hot, and prepared foods, and personal care products.
This historic action expands the list of products excluded from snap purchases in West Virginia, Florida, Colorado, Louisiana, Clinton, Texas.
Yeah, the amount of crap, there was a list.
I probably should have pulled that up.
Sorry, rookie, amateur.
It's like amateur hour.
Anyway, there is a list of a lot of foods that you could buy on Snap, and it was like the most disturbing thing ever.
It's no wonder that this is the first time in human history that the poorer you are, the higher the obesity rate is.
Pretty unprecedented.
It usually is not a problem.
I think ancient humans would be shocked to hear that the poorer you are, the more obese you tended to be.
But looks like RFK is on the case.
And I think it was Scott Greer on last night.
He was speculating, or maybe it was Phil, that RFK is working in tandem with ICE.
He wants to get some of these people that are maybe struggling financially.
ICE is offering a pathway out financially, right, with these new benefits.
Maybe the No EBT is trying to get him off of junk food to get him in shape so then they can work for ICE and help out with the operation.
Anyway, Wall Street Apes, yes, brand new no EBT signs being put up in convenience stores.
Let's take a look at the video here.
This is absolutely hilarious.
unidentified
They really own that.
They say no EBT.
No, they own that.
The food's down EBT is over.
I can only buy steak, chicken, vegetables, no snacks, no nothing.
I can't do it.
I'm a little trip.
You feel me?
tate brown
I mean, he's like losing control of the chips.
He can't believe it.
They on it is actually a very great way to put it.
I think that might have been an official statement from Secretary Rollins.
Is we on it?
Could be.
I'll take a look at the press conference, but they are indeed on it.
This was also a great video.
when you find out trump ain't playing no games uh shit will have you behind the register so they got 67
They didn't even take the Reese's.
I mean, in some worlds, that is healthy, right?
Peanuts like occur naturally.
That's healthy.
As you can see, yeah, a lot of the EBT users, right?
There's a lot of them.
They're not happy about this.
They're even getting behind the register to intervene here.
I mean, you know, things are getting serious when people are stepping behind the register.
Trump's not playing games.
He wants to make America great again.
He wants to make America healthy again.
And it's crazy the pushback from Democrats on this.
Like, they're so upset.
And it's like, is the goal not to improve the general health of Americans?
I mean, the left has been really pushing hard for universal health care.
If you want universal health care, you're not going to get there when you have one of the fattest, unhealthiest countries on planet Earth.
I mean, we go toe-to-toe with like the Pacific Island countries.
If you look at the obesity rankings, you're not getting your universal health care until you get a country that looks like Colorado.
I mean, Coloradans are probably the healthiest state on average.
And that's the minimum because you go to countries that do have universal health care.
And the way they regulate their food industry, I mean, it's like, it's intense.
You know, people always point at Europe as an example of a heavily regulated food industry.
The primary reason for that is because they have universal health care and they can't afford, right?
They want to save costs on having people in the hospital all the time.
They don't want to poison their citizens because, yeah, like I said, if you poison your citizen, you're going to be in and out of the hospital all the time.
And the government's going to be on the hook for that.
So they're regulating the food industry to save money in the long term.
Obviously, in America, we don't have universal healthcare.
So maybe that isn't as much of a priority.
But if you're a leftist, maybe you should embrace RFK's maha.
Just saying that could actually benefit you quite well.
We saw the immortal Stephen Colbert, right?
Calling RFK Jr. a quote Royd Adold Nepo Carney after cutting vaccine funding.
This is from the Rolling Stone.
Why on earth, quote, why on earth is RFK Jr. so anxious to fill our streets with dead bodies?
So this is some top-tier comedy, obviously.
This is a real head scratcher to figure out how he got canceled.
I mean, this is just non-partisan, just easygoing late-night humor, right?
This is great stuff.
I don't really want to watch the video because, like, who cares what Colbert has to say?
But let's just say Stephen Colbert is not impressed that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has cut 500 million in funding for vaccines.
Let's see.
Oh, this has, oh, that had the video.
Anyway, the left's furious, right?
They're so upset about Maha.
And like I said earlier, it's hilarious because RFK was on the left.
He was a liberal, conventional liberal.
And all this Maha stuff was left-coated.
I'm even growing up.
I'm not even that old.
And I remember growing up.
They called him like granola people, right?
These are these granola Americans.
What's going on, guys?
I mean, do you want, if we're talking about why are we so anxious to fill our streets with dead bodies?
Heart disease is the number one killer in the United States by a long shot.
If we want to keep dead bodies off the streets, I think it's going to have to start with not letting people buy ho-hos and ding-dongs on SNAP, EBT, and these sorts of things.
So, yeah, it's a total disaster.
We're still waiting on our guest.
Owen Schroyer is going to be the guest today.
So we're going to keep waiting on that.
Until then, we still have a few more stories here.
This one's pretty crazy.
I saw this right before the show.
A little bit of a departure from some of the stuff we're seeing, but this is from NBC News.
New Zealand evacuates three from U.S. Antarctic base and high-risk winter rescue.
This is actually pretty sick.
This is why I wanted to include this.
Obviously, sad stuff, but New Zealand Air Force said on Wednesday it had evacuated three people from a United States research base in Antarctica.
And what it said was a high-risk operation in freezing temperatures and perpetual darkness.
One person requiring urgent medical care and two others needing a medical attention were taken on the rescue flight from McMurdo Station on Tuesday, the Royal New Zealand Air Force said in a statement.
The aircraft landed in the New Zealand city of Christchurch on Wednesday morning.
The statement gave no details of medical emergencies or nationalities.
Let's see if I can find the video.
I didn't flush this story out all the way.
It's actually a little awkward, but these things happen.
It's kind of banking on the guest being in by now.
But okay.
Yeah, where was I going with this?
Anyway, just ignore this.
We'll cut it in post.
I don't even know where I was going with this.
Just happens.
This is the story I wanted to cover, right?
So I have all my stories in line at the top.
And this one, I was like, yeah, I'll cover this.
And then I kind of gave up on it.
And then when there was no guest, I was like, I'm going to, this is a little parlay into this.
And I was trying to be really smooth about it, but it's just awkward.
These things happen.
We're live.
This is the big, this is another big story I wanted to talk about.
This is from Redux.
It's like a feminist news and opinion.
You know me.
I'm big in the feminist world.
I love reading these feminist newsletters.
I can't get enough.
This is the exclusive from Redux.

As previously reported by Redux, Sipa first Sepa, am I pronouncing this right?
Like, what's going on with these names?
She's got like an arrow above the E. I mean, how am I supposed to possibly pronounce that?
Sepa, Sipa.
Anyway, first came under a criminal investigation after she made a social media post about Erika Hilton, a male politician who identifies as a woman.
Hilton was elected to the Sao Paulo municipal government in November of 2020 by winning his seat in a landslide that gave him the title of the most voted for quote woman in Brazil.
At the time of his victory, Hilton was celebrated in international media as being a quote symbolic triumph for transgender people.
Hilton was amongst the 10 most voted for candidates in all of Brazil and was touted as the only woman to make the list.
It was the widespread announcement of his victory that first put him on SEPA's radar.
At the time, I didn't even know who this person was.
I just saw the headline: most voted for person in Sao Paulo was a man.
So, you know what's been going on in Brazil ever since Bolsonaro is out?
It's turned into like full-blown, like Libtard woke heaven, if you're one of those people.
Seppa got stopped in the Bahá'í airport trying to visit Spain.
They flagged her, linked her passport, pulled her aside for further inspection, and tried to see if her situation could meet the criteria for political persecution.
So they escorted Seppa on a plane advising her to return to Brazil, marking her for the beginning of a period of statelessness.
She formally applied for refugee status with the European Union Agency of Asylum, the first Brazilian citizen to receive this designation since 1985.
So, yeah, woke is getting so crazy that they're literally just creating refugees for not using the proper pronouns.
It's getting wacky and wild.
This is like, this is when you get a little upset about Trump, right?
Some people are kind of souring on Trump.
You need to understand how close you were to this.
I wouldn't have been surprised after three, four years in a Kamala if you would have started seeing action like this.
That was the future we were heading for.
So thank our lucky stars.
Got an update.
Owen Schroyer's ready.
He's here.
So we're going to get that story set up.
I want to bring him in to talk a little more about the census stuff because I mean, that really is the marquee, the marquee story.
So we're going to bring Owen in.
We're going to discuss it.
We're going to see maybe what the implications are on the House, but more importantly, what the implications and the message is of getting illegals out at all costs.
So get this.
Bang.
So audio situations remedied.
Let's see if we can see Owen here.
Hello.
Hey, Owen, how's it going?
Can you hear me?
owen shroyer
Yes, I've got you.
tate brown
Hey, dude, how's it going?
We're going to get you pulled in here.
Interview.
Oh, you're sideways.
Okay.
It's okay.
Andrew, if you want to start wrenching on it, he's sideways for now, but we'll get it sorted.
Anyway, yeah, so we were discussing the census.
So Trump wants to redo the census.
There we go.
All right.
owen shroyer
You want me like this?
I don't know.
They told me to have it the other way.
How do you want me?
tate brown
Yeah, I think it's going to be better like that.
That's just the way we'll like this?
Yeah, it feels good.
Okay.
Anyway, yeah, so Trump, Trump's doing the first of all, we'll say Owen Schroyer.
It goes without introduction, but if you want to give an introduction to people that don't know who you are.
owen shroyer
Okay, I'm the pool cleaner here at the club.
I just clean pools and, you know, sometimes get invited on podcasts.
tate brown
I love it.
Yeah, we got the pool cleaner and the cut.
Yeah.
So we were talking earlier about, we were talking earlier about Trump wanting to redo the census, get the illegals off of it, obviously.
2019, they stopped him, but that was mainly because he had a deadline he was up against.
This time, he has a lot of room to operate.
Wondered what, I mean, how likely do you think he is going to be able to redo the census and what sort of message does that send to illegals and to libtards?
owen shroyer
Yeah, that's good.
Anything is fair game, brother.
tate brown
Yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
I mean, we were looking there saying that Texas, Florida, obviously got kind of gipped out of a few seats after the last election, mainly because of undercounting red states, overcounting blue states.
Obviously, as well, there's a lot of legals in Florida and Texas that people are saying, okay, well, maybe it's not going to be that big of a deal.
But I don't know.
I mean, the priority really is prioritizing Native Americans.
We've been getting ripped off for a lot of years.
People are getting frustrated with the low rate of deportations.
Do you think that now with the Big Beautiful bill passing through or getting passed, do you think that we will see a ramping up in mass deportations?
owen shroyer
Well, there's no doubt.
And are we, is this, are we live right now?
I'm sorry.
I'm a little confused.
tate brown
Yeah, we're live.
owen shroyer
We are live right now.
Okay, sorry.
Yeah, so I think that the biggest, you know, the biggest marketing for them to get support for this bill was the funding and the operational stuff that they're trying to do as far as deportations were concerned.
We're certainly seeing now, you know, a $50,000 signing bonus just to join ICE.
And then they also got rid of an age requirement.
So I don't really know too much about age requirements as far as these federal agencies are concerned, but apparently they got rid of that.
So I guess you can sign up at any age as long as you have the qualifiers is what they're saying.
I heard that Dean Kane, a former Superman actor, has decided to join the team.
You know, they obviously ran into a problem.
And I think as Trump supporters, you know, mass deportations, we understand there's a huge problem here.
We have probably 30 to 50 million illegal aliens in this country.
It's been that way for years.
How do you deal with, how do you deal with something like that that's become so ingrained into our economy, into our workforce, so much to an extent that I even think there was a little bit of a mismeasurement by the Trump administration, no fault of their own, but they figured, hey, we can just start doing these deportations and everything, everything will kind of take care of itself.
Well, what happened was, and I know a couple people that run factories, foremans at factories and stuff like that.
And they started calling me and they're like, hey, they just raided our factory.
A quarter of my workforce just disappeared.
You know, we can't meet our production mandates.
And these are, we're talking about, you know, stuff you go buy at the grocery store, soap products, whatever, you know, the big factories that we still have here.
And so they called the White House and they said, look, President, Mr. President, here's the deal.
We cannot meet our mandate on production after you've come in and raided our offices.
I know agriculture was hit by this big time.
And so the Trump administration came out, much to the chagrin of his supporters and said, hey, we got to look at amnesty.
We got to look at prioritizing certain deportations.
We got to figure out how to do this.
So I understand why Trump's base got a little upset with that.
I've been upset with Trump for other things.
This is one where I felt like there was really not much of a choice.
I mean, what are you going to do?
You have to have production keep going.
People have been here for decades, some of them.
And so, yeah, it's a little tricky situation.
I think, really, I think they're doing the best thing by deporting the violent criminals and then kind of working through the process of determining, okay, can we deport people that came in under Joe Biden, right?
Can we just deport the people that came in in the last four years?
And then what do we do with people that have been here for 10 years, even 20 years, that are essentially ingratiated into their local communities, into the workforce, though they're here illegally?
Okay, how do we deal with that while following the law and keeping the production mandates going in the farms, in the factories where they work?
So there's no doubt it's a problem.
And I think that they're trying to do the best.
Now, as far as the census is concerned, I can't even believe that this is a struggle.
And, you know, this is just more of the corruption in politics.
And we're seeing a lot of it now with the gerrymandering argument, too.
And the truth is the Democrats have mastered gerrymandering.
You may recall, Tate, that there was a story from Red State.
I think it was four years ago.
It ultimately led to change of leadership at the GOP and Michael Watley and Lara Trump getting in positions of leadership because we found out while the Democrats were spending millions of dollars, in fact, the bulk of their expenditures were on voter data and the bulk of Republican Party expenditures were on novelty items and flowers and stuff like that.
So this led to a change in leadership.
Well, the point is that the Democrats spend money to determine where they need to gerrymander and they use race as the framework to say, oh, we have to pull votes from this district over here and we have to pull votes from this district over here.
And essentially what they do is the red suburban areas around the blue metropolitan areas end up flipping blue because they siphon just a fraction of a percentage of enough votes out of the cities without costing them the blue vote in the city.
They only need 51% to win, but then they flip three seats outside of the cities.
We're very familiar with this in Texas.
So to get back to the point with the census, I can't believe it's a struggle.
It's only a struggle because politics is so corrupt.
It's only a fight right now, specifically in Texas, because the Democrats know if they don't have these gerrymander districts, they can't win the House.
It's been this way for decades.
So Trump is absolutely right.
They should have put the citizenship question on the last census, but they didn't.
It might have cost them a few electoral college seats here and there in New York and Illinois and California.
It ended up probably not making a difference in the presidential election, but who knows it could in the future.
So absolutely, the census needs to be based and the Electoral College needs to be based on citizens only.
And they really, Republicans and Democrats need to sit down.
Let's put the partisanship aside and let's sit down, even if it's some arbitrary rules, whatever it is, school districts, road systems, whatever it is, we have to determine a system for drawing district lines that isn't just determined by party politics.
So yeah, the Republicans are talking about redistricting in Texas.
They'll flip three or four seats.
They might do the same thing in South Carolina, we're hearing Florida.
The Democrats will never win another house.
They just will never do it if the Republicans properly redistrict these things.
But that's why the Democrats are panicked.
But really, really, the American people need to say, look, let's not make a political thing out of this.
Let's find a set of rules and standards and let's draw district lines like this.
So again, whether it's school systems, whether it's zip codes, whether it's population, whether it's highway systems, maybe some formula involving all of these things, but that's what needs to be done.
Anybody who goes and looks at this stuff and the redistricting and these district lines, it's absurd.
I live in Austin, Texas.
I'm virtually in downtown Austin.
I'm like a mile outside.
I'm in the same district as southern San Antonio.
Explain to me how that makes any sense.
Why would my vote, why would my vote be in the same district as somebody that lives two hours away from me in southern suburban San Antonio?
We're not even talking about downtown.
I'm talking about southern suburbs.
So it's totally absurd what they've done.
The Republicans, I don't know, the Republicans in Texas are kind of as kind of as pathetic as the Publicans at the national level, too.
But there's definitely a fight to redistrict.
I hope that they do it.
And quite frankly, the Republicans might need it in order to save the House in the midterms.
tate brown
Yeah.
Yeah.
I mean, you kind of touched on it, like, you know, coming together, you know, reallocate these districts, but there really is no appetite on the right, at least among the base right now, to come together with Democrats and figure out a solution.
Rightfully so.
We want revenge.
We feel like we've really been shafted by Democrats over the last, well, decades.
But the question is, does Abbott really know what time it is?
I mean, that's kind of the question.
You know, you see some movement every once in a while, but I mean, what's it going to take to get these Republican governors to really kind of match Trump's energy?
owen shroyer
Well, we've had a problem with Abbott here in Texas for years.
You know, I think he's a nice guy.
I think he's a nice guy, but I don't think he's really, he's not really built for the political fight.
And we've seen it time and time again.
He's certainly not a leader.
He's very much a follower.
And, you know, Texas got some credit during the COVID lockdown because we were pretty good.
Texas was pretty good during the COVID lockdown compared to some other states, but really he was just following Florida's lead.
He wasn't going to make any moves until he saw DeSantis do it and then he followed.
So I guess at least he's a good follower, but he's definitely not a leader.
So really, that's kind of the story of Texas Republicans.
Again, people would probably argue that's the story with congressional Republicans as well.
And I think they'd be right.
There's a representative here, Brian Harrison, who is really on top of this.
He's really exposing Governor Abbott for the lack of action.
He's really exposing the Texas Republicans for the lack of action.
You know, the Democrats all left.
They all essentially vacated their seats unofficially, vacated their seats to avoid these votes and all the decorum happening right now in the Texas House because they don't want the redistricting.
And there's a dozen formulas right now that Brian Harrison and other lawyers and political scholars have laid out here via the Texas Constitution, where you can either bring them back, force them to come back, or you can basically nullify their vote, nullify their seat, and move forward with Texas House activities without them.
And so far, Abbott has done none of it.
He hasn't done a single thing.
He's written some strongly worded letters, but the Democrats are still running around in Illinois bragging about how they're basically playing hookie, basically engaging in truancy.
And Abbott does nothing about this.
So unfortunately, we're kind of used to this down here in Texas.
I would say this, though, if they can't get a victory, if Abbott can't get a victory on this redistricting, if he wants to let the Democrats get away with their tomfoolery, all right, fine enough.
But if you can't get a victory on the redistricting here, that's going to be really sad.
And I hope the Republican Party puts forward a candidate to challenge him that is worthy because that should be the final straw.
That should be the final straw for Texans to say, look, if Abbott can't get this easy victory, if Abbott can't score this layup, he's sitting under the basket with the ball and he can't score this layup, then it's time to find new leadership in Texas, which it really already is, but that should be the final straw.
tate brown
Yeah.
I mean, you're even seeing it like with Paxton, this should be a slam dunk.
He's running against Cornyn.
And obviously, Cornyn's going to be upset about anything to the right of Jeb Bush.
So the fact that I mean, the fact that Paxton hasn't just ran and spiked the football yet is absolutely mind-blowing.
And obviously, he could carry Abbott along with him.
owen shroyer
Well, I will say, if anybody's going to do anything, it's going to be Paxton.
And he has made some pretty strong moves.
I think that he might be considering maybe getting Democrat votes against Cornyn.
That's the only thing I could think of.
But I would say he's definitely got the motivation factors here to make some moves, considering he is running against Cornyn.
He's going to trounce Cornyn.
I don't think that's really going to end up mattering.
In fact, Jasmine Crockett, I don't know if you saw this.
Jasmine Crockett went on MSNBC and said that Cornyn is actually working with the Democrats to avoid the redistricting.
So that should be the nail in his political coffin.
And I imagine that when we get closer to the election, that Trump will probably even endorse Ken Paxton.
And there's a lot going on with Ken Paxton's offices behind the scenes, a lot of good stuff that he's engaged in.
But I just think, you know, Texas, maybe this is me just saying this as a Texan here, but I would like to see Texas start to lead the way.
We've seen Florida lead the way on a lot of things.
We've seen Florida kind of lead the way as far as the states when it comes to Republican action at the state level and then kind of creating a momentum, kind of creating a trend here.
I'd like to see Texas become that state again.
I really would.
And this is the perfect opportunity to kind of make that claim again.
And that's to say, hey, look, we're redistricting.
Here's why.
You're going to see the results.
And by the way, to other Republican states, if you do a similar formula here, you're going to realize the Democrats have stolen about two to three seats, maybe more in some of these states when it comes to congressional seating.
And so I think it is a big issue.
It's sad to see that Abbott has gone so soft on this as far as the action.
Tough on talk, soft on action.
That's going to be Abbott's legacy.
But I'd like to see Texas take a leadership role here.
But again, the reason why I'm saying I'd like to see the left and the right come together on this issue, because we're already seeing Gavin Newsom come out and say, okay, if you redistrict and you flip seats, then we're going to redistrict and we're going to flip seats.
Now, I will say the only issue I think Newsom might have with that is they've already done it.
I really don't know what else.
I really don't know what other gerrymandering that they can do to flip seats in Congress.
I mean, they've already done it.
I've gotten really down into the weeds on this and into the numbers.
And I would say on a low scale, the Democrats steal 12 seats every election cycle via gerrymandering.
And on a high scale, 24.
So you're from 12 to 24 seats that the Democrats steal via gerrymandering with some of these redistricting efforts where they siphon votes from the inner cities into the red areas.
And so I would just come out and say, look, this is how the Democrats have done it.
We're going to stop them from doing that.
We want fair redistricting.
We want districts that actually make sense and don't look like a puzzle piece that you've never seen before.
And maybe the rest of the country will follow.
And I wouldn't take the Democrats' threats too seriously because they've already done it.
They've already done the gerrymandering.
So there's really nothing more that they can do at this point.
tate brown
Yeah.
I mean, like, that's kind of what you're talking about is the Republican base really wants to go hard in the Paint.
As far as kind of more at the national scale of the illegal immigration situation, you did mention earlier some of the difficulties with removing illegals and mass scale.
Obviously, it looks like some of the economic impacts and that sort of thing.
What tools do you think Trump and co still have at their disposal for self-deportation to ratchet up the pressure on illegal immigrants to get them to basically leave voluntarily?
owen shroyer
You know, we've kind of seen what we think are the good results of that.
I don't know.
I haven't really seen, I mean, we've seen some numbers that they throw out there.
I don't really know if these are official numbers or how they're getting these numbers, but we've seen some numbers kind of thrown out there that these are the deportations that are happening.
You know, some of the things that I think that they've either suggested or put into practice was if you self-deport, we can find a path to citizenship for you.
If you don't, and we have to come find you and deport you, then you're never going to become a citizen.
I think that that's not only fair, but I think it's just.
They've also, and this is just, you know, they're just crunching the numbers on this, and it sounds kind of bad, but they crunched the numbers and they've said, we'll pay you.
We'll pay you to self-deport.
So I understand why Americans would see that and say, you know, what the hell?
Why are we paying people to self-deport?
But they've crunched the numbers and they said, well, we can run an ICE operation and it's going to cost us X amount of dollars versus it's going to cost us Y amount of dollars if we just pay them to self-deport.
So they've crunched the numbers and they've decided that that was more financially responsible, even though it sounds kind of counterintuitive, you know, considering the circumstances.
So that's done.
You know, I think, though, the biggest factor here that has had the best result was just shut down the border and cut off the welfare.
You know, I mean, that's been the biggest factor here.
They closed the border.
They shut off the welfare.
And guess what?
Nobody's coming anymore.
They're having zeros.
They're literally having zeros on the board for the first time in like ever when it comes to illegal border crossings.
I don't know how much you study the Darien Gap, but the Darien Gap, when it comes to the illegal immigrant train that goes through Central America, that was kind of the hotbed of, okay, you kind of come from all over the world.
You end up in the Darien Gap.
There's a big UN operation there.
And then they kind of, you know, herd you in, and then you decide how you're going to get to the States.
Nobody's going through the Darien Gap anymore.
That's now silent.
Some of the makeshift facilities that they built there are empty.
So effectively, they have closed the border and they've done a good job just off of policy alone.
So now when you start getting into the area of deportations, it's going to be messy.
There's going to be ugly scenes.
Obviously, the Democrats are going to do everything they can with their street protesters to try to disrupt these things.
But I think they are doing a pretty good job there.
We are seeing a good result.
Now you've kind of got to find a way to deliver the results and then messages to the American people to say, hey, look, here's who we're prioritizing.
Here's who we're getting rid of.
You know, we went to these farms.
We went to these factories.
We were about to deport a bunch of people, but we were told that they couldn't meet production standards.
So it's not a good thing for our economy to kind of kneecap ourselves like that.
So we're going to keep them here.
We're going to think about some sort of a workers program.
We're not going to give them citizenship.
We're not going to give them amnesty, but we do need to look at some worker programs.
And it will upset some right-wingers, there's no doubt.
But I think that that's what they have to do.
So the important thing was shutting down the border.
They've done that.
The important thing was deporting the violent criminals.
They are in the process of doing that.
And the rest of it's going to get a little hairy.
But overall, I would say that's a success that the Trump administration has had, undeniably.
tate brown
Yeah.
Yeah, absolutely.
Yeah, it definitely feels like the atmosphere has changed.
It's a much more, and this isn't necessarily a bad thing, but a hostile atmosphere.
And a lot of people are feeling the heat.
And it saves ICE a lot of money and time.
One other thing is I've talked a lot in the last few shows that I've filled in on is young men really spiraling, right?
A lot of young men kind of have this feeling that we're circling the drain to some degree.
What do you think it does for a young guy when they see an opportunity like ICE is presenting as like the next great way to contribute to your nation?
I mean, there has to be something said about that, right?
owen shroyer
You know, that's an interesting prospect.
It sometimes is hard.
I don't know.
I don't know how old you are.
I'm 36 and cultures are different.
I'm sorry?
tate brown
24.
owen shroyer
24.
Okay, so you might have a better idea of where that culture is at because when I was growing up, it was like I couldn't get a job soon enough.
I was trying to get a job.
I've been working since I was 14 years old.
I mean, maybe even before that, just trying to pick up babysitting gigs just because I like to be as independent as possible, even if it was like at 13 or 14 years old, walking to a local store to buy a soda and a candy bar.
I just, I always wanted to do that.
So I don't know if that still exists in the younger culture.
I feel like it's kind of dying to an extent and people don't want to work.
But there's no doubt in an economy that is not good for young people right now.
There's no doubt there's a reason why young people are feeling disenfranchised.
And mostly on the left, maybe a little bit on the right, they're feeling like America has abandoned them.
You know, this is why liberals vote communist because they don't believe in America anymore.
They think America has abandoned them.
And we can disagree with that idea.
And yet we still have to recognize that these are Americans.
They have opinions and they have votes.
So we have to understand where they're coming from.
So if you want a good paying job, it sounds like you got one.
It sounds like ICE is saying, hey, come work for us.
$50,000 bonus.
Hell, go work for a year.
Stack some cash, live in a cheap apartment, and quit and then decide if you want to go do something else.
I also saw that Janine Pirro, and this is more of a niche offering, but Janine Pirro came out and said she's looking for like 100 lawyers to hire inside the Department of Justice.
She's looking for 100 state prosecutors right now, which as somebody that doesn't like big government, I hear that and I'm kind of like nauseous.
I'm like, oh, great.
You know, that's what we need is more federal prosecutors.
But as somebody, unfortunately, as somebody who knows the federal prosecution process all too well, because I've been through it, it is a mess.
I mean, it's a total mess.
And most of the prosecutors that are in there, I don't think they're bad people.
They're in a bad system.
You need to kind of reset the ideology.
And if you bring in 100 people with a new ideology, maybe you can kind of even engage in a double offense there to change the mindset inside the Department of Justice prosecutors, but also fill these vacancies.
You catch some federal charges in DC, man.
You're in the court system four or five years.
And if you're sitting in a probationary circumstance, you're dealing with a lot of your rights being violated and you're dealing with a lot of your rights being suspended while you're sitting here just waiting for action from the federal system that can take years.
You could even argue it's unconstitutional because you're not getting a speedy trial.
Now, what usually ends up happening is the feds will kind of make you an offer of whether it's kind of a nice to easy probation or stay out of jail, whatever it is, if you waive your rights to a speedy trial.
But this is like, this is like this, this is like common.
This is common and it shouldn't be that way.
Nearly every case gets this, where they're saying, hey, will you waive your right to a speedy trial for X, Y, or Z benefit to your case?
And most people say yes because it looks good on paper.
So there's definitely opportunities for work.
And I'm not somebody that promotes big government.
I'm not somebody that promotes government work at all.
If anything, I probably despise it.
But I do think that if you are a younger American and you're maybe searching for purpose or just searching for a job that you maybe feel like you can pay off some student loans or something like that, it does sound like there's some opportunities there.
tate brown
Yeah, yeah, I agree.
I think it's the new way to give back, especially a lot of people have concerns or the military.
It's like, hey, this is a put yourself in the history books.
Well, Owen, we got to wrap here.
Where can people find you?
owen shroyer
Find me on X. Most of my stuff you'll find on X at Owensroyer1776.
I'm on rumble, rumble.com/slash Owen.
And then you can find my show every day, owenschroyer.show.
And then I've got a homepage, owenschroyer.store, where I just have everything listed there in the front.
And if you're lucky, you can come out here and find me at the pool and hang out with me at the pool, too.
That's the best place to find me.
tate brown
Let's go.
Well, dude, I appreciate it, man.
Thank you so much.
Have a good one.
owen shroyer
Yeah, nice to see you, man.
tate brown
See ya.
All righty.
Well, that was Owen Schroyer.
He was a patriot, absolute patriot.
Thanks for that, Owen.
Yeah, so I totally agree.
I do think the ICE officer gig is the new, like, this is the way to edge yourself in the history book.
If you're a young guy, early 20s, maybe late teens, and you're kind of trying to figure out what do I do, I want to leave a mark on this world.
What's better than being part of the Reconquista, all right, of the United States?
I think it's a beautiful thing.
I think it's something worth considering.
And the benefits are actually pretty fire.
Like, this ain't your mama's government job.
So, yeah, I appreciate you guys for hanging out.
We covered a lot today.
It was kind of in a holding pattern around the half-hour mark.
So, I appreciate you guys bearing with me there.
We'll be back tonight for Timcast IRL at 8 p.m.
Yeah, Tim's voice.
I'm not sure.
Maybe he'll be there.
Maybe it'll be Phil Cast.
I'm not entirely sure, but it's going to be fun no matter what.
So, make sure you head there.
Make sure you head to TimcastEvents.com.
Get your Culture War tickets.
You got to be there, dude.
You don't want to miss this one.
This one's going to be a monster.
You're going to see all the clips going up.
You'll be kicking yourself for not going.
So, you better go.
I think we're going to do a raid here.
See, this is where my expertise comes to a grinding halt.
I'm not sure who we're raiding.
Is it maybe the quartering?
I don't know.
I really don't know.
I'm poking through here live.
I don't know.
Do we raid the quartering, do you think?
And with producer Andrew, he's been doing a great job.
Well, we're going to wrap.
We'll figure out who to send you to.
We'll get that sorted.
But yeah, I appreciate you guys hanging out.
It's fun.
It's a fun learning process.
I think we're getting better and better.
So, yeah, have a good one.
Have a good rest of your afternoon.
And we'll catch you later.
