We're back!
The Physique Manufactorum.
I'm checking in from Loflorian with a kettlebell session.
A quick and easy one.
So I will just guide you through my movements here.
So now I am simply warming up.
You can do this as your main exercise as well, but I usually do this as a warm-up.
So just swinging it, swinging the body into action.
And I'm using a 32 kilo.
That is roughly 70 pound kettlebell.
So now I'm doing my first real set here.
So you see that I am switching hand and I'm trying to get a nice deep range of motion, a full range of motion.
So I'm trying to activate my legs as well.
So I do try to make it into a full body exercise.
Now of course this does not it can never replace the gym, it can never replace the heavy compound movements in the gym, but as an exercise you can do like this on a nice summer's day.
If you don't have access to a gym, it's a very good piece of equipment, the kettlebell.
So I use it as an accessory.
So yeah, that was the first set.
And there you see I'm pointing at my nose to indicate that you should breathe through your nose and not your mouth.
You should only breathe through your mouth if you absolutely have to.
So now you see it from the back there and you can see that I'm engaging my legs as much as possible and I do this by taking the kettlebell as close to the ground as possible.
So I'm really activating my legs and hip there as well.
I'm pushing through, pushing forward with my hip and then of course you can see I'm trying to have a nice back position there as well.
Boom!
Absolutely aesthetic.
Look at that.
Aesthetic physique, if I may be so bold.
So now we're doing it from the front to show a different angle.
So you can see there it's good for the forearms as well.
I'm gripping it, gripping the kettlebell tightly.
So of course I have a good control of it.
And perhaps you can see from this angle as well that I am training my legs.
Of course not in the same way as a good old squat would do but still you get some nice leg training and you get to train your hip drive there as well which is good for all manner of things.
So that is at least what I'm doing usually with my kettlebell when I'm not training in the gym.
So good stuff, good stuff.
