[PREVIEW] Episode 77: True and A III

"True and A III" kicks off with Liz, Brace, and Young Chomsky—two remote men in hoods (with actor stand-ins for streams)—debating a cryptic name change inspired by "You will know us by the trail of the dead" and absurd puns. After voting (with Young Chomsky’s support), they mock listener Q&A questions, dismissing repeats like "How’d you meet?" as "fucking dumb" while praising sharp inquiries. The trio confirms their show avoids personal topics, setting a tone of chaotic wit over polished polish. [Automatically generated summary]

Gracious Victory 00:03:41
So what I'm saying is, I understand.
I've never heard them before, but I the band name is, you know, it's in my head.
You will know us by the trail of the dead, and you will know us by the males giving us head or me head.
It's, I think it would have to be a riddle.
You will know us by the.
Yeah, I mean, it's, I think people would get the idea.
Okay.
Uh, that's what we're changing our podcast name to.
No.
Uh, please back me up on this.
Young Chomsky.
I'm for it.
So to outview.
Okay.
Yeah.
Outvoted.
Fuck you.
I mean, sorry, that's not gracious.
I'm gracious in victory.
You're welcome.
You are not gracious in victory.
You are not.
I'm never a victor.
Are you?
What are you talking about?
You've had many victories over the past year.
I know, I was being gracious.
Hey, boys.
That's right.
Two boys.
Two boys on the mic.
Hello.
Hey, girls.
I'm saying that, of course, to the girl that is recording this with me, but also to the girl listening to this.
Nice.
We've got a bit of a different episode today because we're doing a patented true and aka QA.
We asked you guys to send us questions and now we're going to answer them.
But before we get to that, I guess I forgot to do the hello, welcome, True and On.
I'm Liz.
I am Brace.
And I'm Young Chomsky.
On the mic.
And yeah, you guys sent us some fun questions.
I was about to do a bit right here where I pretended we were interviewing Young Chomsky because I had figured out that he was actually implicated in all of this.
But we can just, you know, just pretend I did the bit.
Wait, do you want to do it?
No.
Like do a like rewind.
Yeah, I can't.
The bits, the bit's not really in me.
The bits just, the idea of the bits in the air, I'm pawing at it too.
Do you need to gesture toward the bit?
Yeah, but the gesture I do looks disturbingly like a very gesture that is a different gesture.
So let's just move on from it.
All right.
That's right.
We've got gestures everywhere.
Yeah, it's the pretending.
So it's like a this kind of gesture.
So it's you could have you could technically say it looks like a trombone.
Oh my God.
No, so this is fun.
I don't know.
We like to do these sometimes.
We haven't done it in a while.
And for those of you who did submit questions, a little hot tip from me to you on the QT.
Maybe listen to the previous one because we answered a lot of the questions that you already submitted.
People love asking how we met.
And I'll tell you straight up, I technically still haven't met either.
Yeah, we've never met.
We've been doing this remote since day day one.
And we wear hoods when we do it.
So we don't even know what each other looks like.
Oh, that.
How We Met 00:01:10
Oh.
Yeah, no, I can see.
I can.
Yeah, I've paid for pictures of you guys.
Oh, God.
I didn't want to give this away, but yeah, the people that you see on the streams, those are actors.
So I guess that cat's out of the bag on that.
But yeah, I don't know, and I don't want to know what you two look like.
But yeah, people love asking like, hey, what's your deal?
What do you guys think about conspiracies?
Yeah, yeah.
We got a lot of questions.
That's like, hey, talk about this.
It's like, hey, don't be rude.
I like it.
I will say I love it when people are like, Liz, talk about finance.
Like, what?
Like, yes, dude, of course I do make Liz do my taxes, et cetera.
But like, that's not for the show.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So it's just like a little bit of broad strokes.
I say the more specific the question, the better.
Absolutely.
Well, I would like to say I appreciate all the questions and everyone who listens.
To everyone who asks the question, I see you.
I hear you.
And you're valid.
Some of the questions were fucking dumb.
