And I'm like, well, what happened?
She's like, I don't know.
And I'm like, okay, well, I saw this clear film-looking thing on my eye.
And I'm like, looks like there's something that's adhered to my eye.
I think it's a contact.
No, there's nothing in your eye.
Yeah, she's like, we'll wait for the inflammation to go down.
See me in two days.
And I was like...
Not acceptable.
So I go to an ophthalmologist and he's like, okay, well, there definitely isn't a contact stuck in your eye.
But also it was kind of...

And he's like, yeah, it's a hemorrhage.
It was super dismissive.
And I was like, I'm still not satisfied.
So I go back to her like less than 48 hours.
She said two days.
And I was like, you only get one set of eyes.
Like, please don't, please don't play with me.
This is my body.
Right.
So I go back to her.
And the swelling had come down just a little bit, and she's like, you actually tore.
We have a clear film that goes over our eye.
I tore it.
She's like, so you're actually not crazy.
And I was like, well, thanks.
I know that, but I didn't need you to tell me that.
She's like, so that's what you're feeling.
She's like, don't wear your contacts.
Just wear your glasses for a couple weeks.
She gave me like a steroid cream, and I was like, I hate wearing my glasses.
I hate it.
It makes me feel...
So I hit up my girlfriend and I was like, I just got the X39 patches and I got them for bursitis in my shoulder and another Western failed doctor visit.

And then I finally realized, well, yeah, but I'm not really doing anything except for I'm high all the time and I'm just masking the pain because when these things wear off, like, you know, it's bad.
Then I went in and they were like, well, you could have surgery.
And I'm like, yeah.
No, you guys are the ones that just shoved me full of pills and got me high for the last six months of my life.
I'm not really too trusting of what your prognosis is and your suggested remedies here.
So I went and saw somebody else, and then what they did is they were like, well, we're just going to inject this fluid.
So they put this big contraption over the top of me with this laser-guided thing, and it went down, and this joint is very, very small.
And they went in there with this laser, and it hurt like a son of a bitch.
They put it down in there, and then they fill it with fluid.
Well, they put too much volume of fluid, and they blew up the joint.
And so as a guy who prides himself on staying athletically a specimen, physically strong, functional strength, mobility, all those things, that was a problem.
Couldn't work out anymore.
I couldn't do anything.
I've just kind of managed to suffer through the pain.
For years, because I'm not doing surgery.
And I just suffered through the pain.
