|
| Carmela Anthony. | |
| Dad. | |
| Requests for $1.4 million donations. | |
| What did y'all do with it? | |
| What did y'all do with all that? | |
| They know where lawyer fees and all that stuff cost. | |
| They say y'all about to escalate in a brand new house with that money. | |
| Now, y'all should have put that money up for that man lawyer fees. | |
| You know, them people is fighting, trying to get him in. | |
| And he's young. | |
| So, you know, where y'all up there spent all that money like that that y'all raised. | |
| That was supposed to be put aside for him with his lawyer fees and everything else that he needed to have that money for. | |
| And y'all will sit up there and spend that for money. | |
| Hi, folks. | |
| I am the Shameless Spurg. | |
| I hope you're doing well. | |
| So here from ex Sarah Fields, this was posted June 26th. | |
| Carmelo Anthony submitted an indigent packet to the Collin County Court requesting court-appointed legal representation as an indigent, financially destitute defendant. | |
| However, just 24 hours ago, the Anthony family updated their Gives and Go campaign to reflect a need to raise an additional $1.4 million for a legal team. | |
| Carmelo Anthony's mother, Kayla Hayes, who manages the Gifts and Go, stated on April 17th, two months ago that they had just gained access to the funds. | |
| At that time, they had already raised $350,000. | |
| The fundraiser has now reached $538,000. | |
| According to a source, their current known attorney, Mike Howard, is more than likely charging a retainer fee of $10,000 to $30,000 and charges of $400,000 to $500 per hour. | |
| Where did the money go? | |
| Why do they need $1.4 million? | |
| Will they be granted indigence and an appointed attorney with a gifts and go of this magnitude? | |
| Is this considered fraud? | |
| So here we have her admitting it herself that on April 17th, they had access to the funds. | |
| We were just notified yesterday that we could begin to withdraw funds. | |
| And it's going to take several days to receive those funds once a request is made. | |
| I don't know why we are being touched. | |
| And just for clarification here, the Anthony family updated their Gifts and Go campaign to reflect a need to raise an additional amount of funds, bringing the goal to $1.4 million for a legal team. | |
| And here we have from SandraRose.com. | |
| On June 23rd, a grand jury returned an indictment for first-degree murder against Carmelo Anthony. | |
| I'm sure most, if not all of you, have heard about it. | |
| He faces a maximum sentence of life in prison if convicted. | |
| A spokesperson blamed white supremacy for the murder indictment against Anthony. | |
| Anthony has requested a court-appointed attorney as an indigent defendant, according to a report. | |
| And let's take a look at the Gifts and Go page real quick and see what they've raised so far. | |
| Yep. | |
| So of the $1.4 million goal, they have raised $543,030. | |
| That's after the, you know, the first GIFs and go they had that they blew on conspicuous consumption, as they do. | |
| So he requested the indigent status. | |
| They're so destitute and they really need help for defense after that $500, some odd thousand dollar donation that they wasted on conspicuous consumption. | |
| He was actually granted indigent status, allowing him to receive a taxpayer-funded public defender despite having raised over $540,000 for his legal defense. | |
| His family initially raised approximately $500,000 through donations, but reportedly spent the funds on luxury items and subsequently increased their fundraising goal to $1.4 million, as you just saw. | |
| The court's approval of Anthony's indigent request means he is legally recognized as unable to afford legal representation. | |
| Even after the substantial fundraising efforts, this development has drawn attention due to the contrast between the funds raised and his current legal status. | |
| And I'm just not even shocked, and I don't think you are either. | |
| I mean, of course they would blow it. | |
| I got money to blow, bitch. | |
| You know how they are. | |
| So the folks at thecoring.com ask, is this fraudulent? | |
| We're asking, is the family going to keep the money raised through the fundraiser and also take a corner-appointed lawyer for free? | |
| They told the court they are broke, despite having raised hundreds of thousands of dollars, which is far more than would likely be needed for a defense. | |
| The situation seems highly questionable, and we believe the court would want to be aware of these significant donations. | |
| Adding to the intrigue, the family reportedly lives in a wealthy multi-million dollar mansion, though it is stated that they rent it for an estimated $4,000 to $5,000 a month. | |
| The father was also noted as the sole breadwinner, making substantial money, which further deepens the mystery of their financial claims. | |
| Gibbs me that. | |
| And so there you have it, folks. | |
| Are you surprised at all? | |
| Because I'm not. | |
| You know, they get showered in all this money, and you remember all the comments on the original Gifts and Go to death to the white man and so on. | |
| They blow it, of course, because conspicuous consumption. | |
| You know, they make fun of white people for when they get a lot of money, but they just don't spend a lot of it. | |
| And so, yeah, I'm not at all surprised, and neither are you, that they blew the initial money on conspicuous consumption and have somehow managed to place themselves in a position of being underprivileged or whatever. | |

Battle of Gifts and Wages

|
|
| They're destitute, guys. | |
| They're destitute. | |
| And that's why he's an indigent now. | |
| Poor Comello Anthony. | |
| So that's pretty wild, don't you think? | |
| It looks like the battle of gifts and go wages on. | |
| So what should our counter-strike be? | |
| I guess we'll find out the next time one of us drops that naughty little word. | |
| Remember, white folks, we don't really have to live this way. | |
| But so long as we put up with it, we do. | |
| And we're going to get every bit as much of it as we put up with. | |
| I'm done putting up with it. | |
| I'm just waiting on the rest of you to be done putting up with it so that we can just go ahead and do something about it, you know? | |
| And thank you for lending me your ear. | |
