[00:00:04] Dad. [00:00:08] Requests for $1.4 million donations. [00:00:16] What did y'all do with it? [00:00:19] What did y'all do with all that? [00:00:22] They know where lawyer fees and all that stuff cost. [00:00:25] They say y'all about to escalate in a brand new house with that money. [00:00:29] Now, y'all should have put that money up for that man lawyer fees. [00:00:32] You know, them people is fighting, trying to get him in. [00:00:35] And he's young. [00:00:37] So, you know, where y'all up there spent all that money like that that y'all raised. [00:00:41] That was supposed to be put aside for him with his lawyer fees and everything else that he needed to have that money for. [00:00:47] And y'all will sit up there and spend that for money. [00:00:49] Hi, folks. [00:00:50] I am the Shameless Spurg. [00:00:51] I hope you're doing well. [00:00:52] So here from ex Sarah Fields, this was posted June 26th. [00:00:58] Carmelo Anthony submitted an indigent packet to the Collin County Court requesting court-appointed legal representation as an indigent, financially destitute defendant. [00:01:07] However, just 24 hours ago, the Anthony family updated their Gives and Go campaign to reflect a need to raise an additional $1.4 million for a legal team. [00:01:18] Carmelo Anthony's mother, Kayla Hayes, who manages the Gifts and Go, stated on April 17th, two months ago that they had just gained access to the funds. [00:01:27] At that time, they had already raised $350,000. [00:01:30] The fundraiser has now reached $538,000. [00:01:34] According to a source, their current known attorney, Mike Howard, is more than likely charging a retainer fee of $10,000 to $30,000 and charges of $400,000 to $500 per hour. [00:01:45] Where did the money go? [00:01:46] Why do they need $1.4 million? [00:01:49] Will they be granted indigence and an appointed attorney with a gifts and go of this magnitude? [00:01:54] Is this considered fraud? [00:01:56] So here we have her admitting it herself that on April 17th, they had access to the funds. [00:02:03] We were just notified yesterday that we could begin to withdraw funds. [00:02:11] And it's going to take several days to receive those funds once a request is made. [00:02:17] I don't know why we are being touched. [00:02:19] And just for clarification here, the Anthony family updated their Gifts and Go campaign to reflect a need to raise an additional amount of funds, bringing the goal to $1.4 million for a legal team. [00:02:30] And here we have from SandraRose.com. [00:02:32] On June 23rd, a grand jury returned an indictment for first-degree murder against Carmelo Anthony. [00:02:38] I'm sure most, if not all of you, have heard about it. [00:02:40] He faces a maximum sentence of life in prison if convicted. [00:02:44] A spokesperson blamed white supremacy for the murder indictment against Anthony. [00:02:49] Anthony has requested a court-appointed attorney as an indigent defendant, according to a report. [00:02:55] And let's take a look at the Gifts and Go page real quick and see what they've raised so far. [00:03:00] Yep. [00:03:00] So of the $1.4 million goal, they have raised $543,030. [00:03:08] That's after the, you know, the first GIFs and go they had that they blew on conspicuous consumption, as they do. [00:03:15] So he requested the indigent status. [00:03:18] They're so destitute and they really need help for defense after that $500, some odd thousand dollar donation that they wasted on conspicuous consumption. [00:03:27] He was actually granted indigent status, allowing him to receive a taxpayer-funded public defender despite having raised over $540,000 for his legal defense. [00:03:36] His family initially raised approximately $500,000 through donations, but reportedly spent the funds on luxury items and subsequently increased their fundraising goal to $1.4 million, as you just saw. [00:03:48] The court's approval of Anthony's indigent request means he is legally recognized as unable to afford legal representation. [00:03:54] Even after the substantial fundraising efforts, this development has drawn attention due to the contrast between the funds raised and his current legal status. [00:04:02] And I'm just not even shocked, and I don't think you are either. [00:04:05] I mean, of course they would blow it. [00:04:08] I got money to blow, bitch. [00:04:10] You know how they are. [00:04:11] So the folks at thecoring.com ask, is this fraudulent? [00:04:15] We're asking, is the family going to keep the money raised through the fundraiser and also take a corner-appointed lawyer for free? [00:04:21] They told the court they are broke, despite having raised hundreds of thousands of dollars, which is far more than would likely be needed for a defense. [00:04:29] The situation seems highly questionable, and we believe the court would want to be aware of these significant donations. [00:04:35] Adding to the intrigue, the family reportedly lives in a wealthy multi-million dollar mansion, though it is stated that they rent it for an estimated $4,000 to $5,000 a month. [00:04:44] The father was also noted as the sole breadwinner, making substantial money, which further deepens the mystery of their financial claims. [00:04:51] Gibbs me that. [00:04:52] And so there you have it, folks. [00:04:54] Are you surprised at all? [00:04:55] Because I'm not. [00:04:57] You know, they get showered in all this money, and you remember all the comments on the original Gifts and Go to death to the white man and so on. [00:05:05] They blow it, of course, because conspicuous consumption. [00:05:09] You know, they make fun of white people for when they get a lot of money, but they just don't spend a lot of it. [00:05:14] And so, yeah, I'm not at all surprised, and neither are you, that they blew the initial money on conspicuous consumption and have somehow managed to place themselves in a position of being underprivileged or whatever. === Battle of Gifts and Wages (00:57) === [00:05:29] They're destitute, guys. [00:05:31] They're destitute. [00:05:33] And that's why he's an indigent now. [00:05:35] Poor Comello Anthony. [00:05:36] So that's pretty wild, don't you think? [00:05:39] It looks like the battle of gifts and go wages on. [00:05:42] So what should our counter-strike be? [00:05:45] I guess we'll find out the next time one of us drops that naughty little word. [00:05:50] Remember, white folks, we don't really have to live this way. [00:05:54] But so long as we put up with it, we do. [00:05:56] And we're going to get every bit as much of it as we put up with. [00:06:00] I'm done putting up with it. [00:06:02] I'm just waiting on the rest of you to be done putting up with it so that we can just go ahead and do something about it, you know? [00:06:08] And thank you for lending me your ear.
