Time Text
Quentin Carter here today with InfoWars.
We're at the 2017 NRA Annual Meeting.
We're with my good friend and co-worker, Dillard Johnson.
We just want to ask him a couple questions.
Everybody knows you as CJ. CJ, what's important to you and why is the Second Amendment important to you?
Well, you know, it's just not the Second Amendment.
It's the amendments that we have together that was put forth.
But the Second Amendment in particular, I mean, it gives us our...
Basic rights and helps us be able to defend ourselves.
You know, a lot of people have the misunderstanding that a police officer carries a gun to defend them.
A police officer carries a gun to defend himself.
He does the same thing if he has a shooting.
The same thing that he says to his unit rep is the same thing that we have to say.
I was in fear for my life.
You know, the Second Amendment, it needs to be across the board, like our president's going to do, so that we can go ahead and have our reciprocity through all the states and everything with us.
You know, and it's something that has built us as what we are now, and to lose that, you know, it's not that, you know, our right to hunting or anything else like a lot of people think.
It's our ability to keep our government in check.
So are you a fan of...
National concealed carry or constitutional carry across the board?
Absolutely.
You know, and if they've had a good safety course, I don't see any reason why they can't do that, to go across the borders.
The states make the decision on, you know, the safety courses are there now.
There needs to be a Freddo course that the instructors and staff can teach.
It's across the board, and everybody can cross the lines and be able to go through, and I can be just as safe in Tennessee as I am Kentucky.
Right.
Why should your right to self-defense or your right to defend your family vary based on what state you're in?
Right.
It's the same thing with your driver's license.
Your driver's license doesn't change because you go to West Virginia.
Right.
You know, it still stays the same.
Same in alien rights.
Absolutely.
So while we're here, anything you'd like to say?
Anything you'd like to tell the people who have attended the NRA or maybe didn't attend the NRA but see this video?
Is there something you'd like to say?
You know, there's a lot of things that go on with the NRA and a lot of the haters and stuff that don't realize exactly what it's about.
The NRA is just basically the parts of the country that weren't read.
You know, this is the voting part that went out there and put our president in.
You know, the population for the people that live in the rural areas and everything.
And this is our time to get together and hang out with our friends and like-minded people.
And, you know, it's not just about guns.
We have tractors here.
You know, they've got a lot of vehicles and stuff for the outdoors.
So it's an event for...
So it's not just about Second Amendment.
It's not just about guns.
It's kind of a meeting place for the country's silent majority.
Those who went out and voted and took our country back.
It's a meeting place for the people that don't know and stand outside and protest everything and are real tolerant with everything.
Right.
Absolutely.
Well, it was great talking to you again.
Love you, brother.
Quentin Carter.
