You know what's really cool? She's actually figured out how to find her pacifier and how to pick it up, turn it, and put it in her own mouth.
Wow! That's cool!
Yeah, it's really cool. We just noticed this a couple of days ago because her binky was sort of by her side in her carib and we come back and it's in her mouth.
We're like, wait a second. Hey!
I'll tell you what parenting reminds me of.
There's a scene in Jurassic Park where the Australian-sounding guy, who's the hunter, turns around.
At one point, he's being stalked by a dinosaur, and then they end up encircling him or something, right?
And he turns in and is like, clever girl, right?
Then he gets eaten. Yeah.
Well, that's what parenting is like.
Clever girl. No eating yet.
But that's all I'm doing is like, ooh, clever girl.
Now I feel alarmed. Right.
Gotcha. You tell me when Daddy has to stop swearing.
Constantly checking your wallet pocket, are you?
Right, right. I guess it's very naughty.
Isn't it very naughty and up late?
Oh, very naughty and up late.
She really giggles hard to the point where she actually shrieks with laughter now sometimes, which is just fantastic.
Oh, it's too much fun.
She likes it when I jump.
Right? So I sort of jump up like a frog, make a big face and then come down again.
And literally sometimes she will laugh so hard she can't breathe.
And then I stop.
Because, you know, good parenting is important.
Breathing is the number one part of parenting that I want to make sure I'm maintaining.
Right. Right.
Made my baby laugh so hard that she has brain damage now.
Right. But boy, those last few minutes were worth it, I'm sure.
Right. Right.
Well, that's cool.
I just think that's really cool.
Oh, she just eekled a little.
She's not quite ticklish yet, though.
She's getting there. She's not quite old enough to be ticklish yet.
That comes in about a couple of weeks.
But yeah, she's in her sixth month.
That is just amazing.
Oh, can you hear that?
That's cool.

That's awesome.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That little yelp at the end is cute.
Isn't that great?
That just makes my day.
And then as soon as she laughs, and then if you keep doing the same thing, she's like no longer amused.
She's like the Queen Victoria, you know?
I am not amused. Off with this head.
Off with his giant melon head.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's awesome.
Isn't that great?
I get a couple of those a day.
