Law, Order, and the Breaking Point: America at a Crossroads
Law, Order, and the Breaking Point examines Chicago’s January 18th shooting spree—seven deaths in 18 hours—while dismissing Democratic victim politicization like Renee Good. It ties gun violence to ICE confrontations, blaming Biden, Harris, and Mayorkas for 15–20 million illegal immigrants, including violent criminals, despite a $175B bill for border enforcement. Missouri Senator Eric Schmidt and listeners Thomas (Minnesota fraud claims), Richard (Walz’s ICE hypocrisy), and Joe (Trump’s economic impact) argue systemic failures stem from Democratic radicalization and open borders, urging midterm votes to counter chaos. Upcoming guests include Emmer, Patel, Fetterman, and Besant. [Automatically generated summary]
then after the war which we won we won it big Without us, right now you'd all be speaking German and a little Japanese, perhaps.
Is this diplomacy with Donald Trump?
He's a T-Rex.
You mate with him or he devours you.
One or the other.
I think it's very, very ironic that, you know, Governor Newsom, who strikes me as Patrick Bateman, meets Sparkle Beach Ken.
Freedom is back in style.
Welcome to the revolution.
Yeah, we're coming to your city.
Gonna play our guitars and sing you a country song.
Sean Hennedy, we'll do the new Sean Hannity show.
More behind the scenes information on breaking news and more bold, inspired solutions for America.
Be right here for our final news roundup and information overload.
All right, news roundup and information overload hour.
Here's our toll-free number.
It's 800-941-Sean.
If you want to be a part of the program, I've got to go back.
There has been, there's no way you can look at what has unfolded this weekend.
And we think every life is precious.
I hate to hear anybody ever loses their life.
I hate every weekend when I can come on this program.
And I have done this for years.
And I've listed all the names that you've never heard of people that were shot and shot and killed in cities like Chicago.
But I can do that every single Monday.
And we get a report on this program every single Monday.
But if you look at the crime data, I mean, it is, you know, for example, January 18th, seven people fatally shot within 18 hours and not one person.
Remember, Renee Good was January 7th, January 18th, seven people fatally shot within 18 hours in Chicago.
Do you know any of their names?
No, because they can't politically weaponize it.
I have their names.
I have the list of all of them in front of me.
In New York, there's been 15 fatal shootings since January 7th, and I have the victims' names there also.
You know, Los Angeles, 14 homicides.
I have those names also.
I have the names of people in San Francisco, the names of people in Philadelphia, five homicides that took place there.
And nobody ever hears the names.
You never hear them because Democrats can't weaponize it politically.
And it just proves my point.
But you can't look at what happened this weekend.
And I pray for the family of this young man.
I wish he didn't go into and resist having a weapon that was loaded with him.
I think a lot of mistakes were made.
And I'm not going to come to a final determination after spending hours looking at videotapes.
I can't give you a conclusion because I don't have the ability to see what I want to see to give you that.
And I don't rush to judgment.
But I can tell you this, he was resisting arrest, and he did have a loaded firearm, according to law enforcement.
That is not a good situation to be confrontational with any law enforcement.
And as somebody that has had a pistol carry permit in six states all of my adult life, you have to practice the highest level of responsibility and safety measures.
I have no problem with the fact that this guy has a concealed carry permit.
None at all.
As a matter of fact, I support it.
And I think most of us should.
I think more guns, less crime.
I think John Lott was right.
However, if you want to be a gun owner, you've got to be trained in the safety.
and the use of firearms.
And one of the things you learn is something called de-escalation.
And in other words, knowing you have a weapon means you're going to try and avoid any confrontation in any way, shape, manner, or form.
And that didn't happen in this case.
And it's a tragedy.
But you can't just look at this in a vacuum.
This all started with wide open borders of Biden, Harris, Mayorkas, and the big lie, even though we had video day after day, night after night, just like video of Job and his cognitive decline.
And Democrats just kept saying, oh, no, the border's secure.
The border's closed.
Listen.
Sounds to most folks like a crisis.
Well, look, it's way down now.
We've now gotten control.
Precisely that.
The border is closed, nor could I have been clearer and continued to be so, which is the border is closed.
The United States will continue to enforce our laws and secure our border.
The border, we are working to make the border more secure.
You're confident this border is secure.
We have a secure border in that that is a priority for any nation, including ours and our administration.
We agree that the border is secure.
Border was never secure.
12, I mean, the estimates are 12 and God knows how many unvetted Harris Biden illegals.
I went through the list of the most violent criminals that ICE has arrested in Minnesota.
And I have pages and pages and pages.
Murderers, rapists, child rapists, child molesters, the worst of the worst.
And thanks to ICE and DHS, they're making that state more safe and secure in spite of the demonization of ICE.
And this is a small sampling of Democrats demonizing ICE and calling them Nazi and Gestapo and terrorists and so on and so forth.
Donald Trump's modern day Gescapo is scooping folks up off the streets.
As somebody who understands history, when I see ICE, I see slave patrols.
The dangers that we saw in Nazi Germany are the dangers that we need to react to now.
And these ICE agents running around our communities like masked bank robbers, terrorizing women, masked ICE agents.
No badge, no identification, grabbing people off the streets.
Masked secret ICE agents are snatching and arresting immigrants.
Women who are selling fruit on a corner are people who are trying to survive day to day as day laborers are car washes.
People are beginning to complain now because car washes aren't open.
Why would you pray on a car wash?
Unless you preying on that car wash because you know those are very vulnerable workers.
And another $30 billion to hire and trained ICE agents who have functionally become a secret federal police force with expanding domains.
Are coming and kidnapping and disappearing people on the streets of the United States.
We have ICE federal agents pulling up, terrorizing our communities, hopping out of unmarked vans, stealing and yes, kidnapping people.
An authoritarian government in Washington, D.C. is dispatching mass agents to abduct immigrants from our streets.
That is not justice.
It is cruelty.
And it is criminal.
$175 billion in the bill that was just signed to reinforce the ranks of ICE Homeland Security for what is increasingly becoming self-evident to anyone with eyes wide open and any level of objectivity, a private army for Donald Trump.
It is reckless.
It is insightful.
It is irresponsible.
And it has mobilized their radical base.
And now we're finding out that they have, you know, these emergency response squads that at any time ICE moves, that they are there to agitate and to obstruct and to prevent them from doing their job.
Never mind what the Constitution says, the supremacy clause, and that is it is the jurisdiction of the federal government to enforce federal laws.
Senator Eric Schmidt of the great state of Missouri, former attorney general of that state as well, is with us, sir.
How are you?
I'm doing great, John.
How are you?
Good.
I don't believe this happened in a vacuum.
I don't think you can just, you know, go back to this weekend and look at what happened in this incident and not look at what has led up to the situation, which is now at a crisis level.
100%.
I think that if you want to, it didn't happen this weekend.
It didn't happen last month.
The real story of all this begins on January 20th, 2021, when Joe Biden was elected and immediately done all undid all the successes that President Trump had at the border in his first term.
And what did we end up with?
15 to 20 million people.
I think we have to grasp how many people that actually is that are here illegally.
Tens of thousands of murderers, hundreds of thousands of other kinds of criminals.
Venezuela literally opened up their prisons and they came here.
These people have terrorized, these criminals have terrorized our communities.
There's example after example.
The media never ever, the mainstream media or the legacy media never spent any time devoted to those names.
But you have now this combination, Sean, this toxic brew.
This really is their religion.
This mass migration is the Democrats' religion.
It is now the central plank of their party for a variety of reasons.
Whether it's this sort of suicidal empathy or something much, much more nefarious than that, where they view it as a way to control the government eventually for apportionment purposes, for the census purposes.
They know exactly what they're doing.
So if you wonder why the reaction is so strong from the Democrats now, and effectively now Antifa and these kind of paramilitary groups that are on the left, it's because they know exactly what it means.
President Trump ran on this, Sean.
This was the central plank.
I would actually argue from the time he went down, came down the escalator, he is the person that brought illegal immigration to the forefront in this country.
It's never been talked about in that way before.
The American people had a chance to weigh in on it, and they said, we want to fix the problems of the Biden-era immigration.
So Trump's doing that now, and they don't like it.
They don't like the result of the election.
They are trying to stop it by any means necessary.
And I think the most dangerous part of all of this is that rhetoric that you just played from elected Democrat politicians encouraging people to confront ICE, encouraging people to break the law.
What you will never hear them say, which is what Tim Wall should say today, is that, listen, you can peacefully protest, but back away, let ICE do their jobs.
And the reason why they will never say that is they don't want them to do that.
They don't want the illegal immigrants that are here illegally gone.
They want them to stay forever, and no sovereign country should tolerate that.
Okay.
Tell me why.
What is their motivation behind this?
Well, I think you have, they understand that their numbers are padded through illegal immigration because remember, you don't have to be a citizen to be counted in the census.
They know in 2030, they're probably going to lose seats because so many people came here illegally.
I think they're also trying to cover up for this Somali fraud.
This is a big distraction for them.
There's no doubt about that.
That is something that really galvanized the country, you know, billions and billions of dollars that came from the fraud.
But largely speaking, I think it's a power play.
But you also have this weird, and I don't know how to explain it, this sort of self-loathing, suicidal empathy where they just think that everybody from all parts of the world has a right to be in this country.
And we don't have the right to tell them they should leave.
And no civilization can survive on that principle.
You believe in sovereignty of countries.
Borders are supposed to mean something.
Countries are able to decide who comes and who has to leave.
They don't actually believe that.
So the language of Bill Clinton, even the language of Barack Obama, when he, you know, they deported millions of people, each one of them, it doesn't work anymore because the left has been radicalized.
The Democrat Party now has been radicalized.
And illegal immigration, like I said, is the central plank of their party.
Quick break more with Senator Eric Schmidt of Missouri on the other side.
Then your call is coming up 800-941-Sean on this Monday as we continue.
All right, we continue now.
Senator Eric Schmidt, Missouri is with us.
It's also predictable, all of these events, because if you have politicians that are inciting and dehumanizing police or law enforcement in their effort to enforce the laws of the land.
Now, maybe Democrats don't like the law of the land.
Maybe they don't like the supremacy clause.
Maybe they want open borders, but that is not what the law of the land is.
If you want to enter this country, you have to do so legally.
And they institutionalized all of this law breaking.
And here's the saddest part.
Among those that came into this country were murderers and rapists and other violent criminals, known terrorists, cartel members, gang members, drug dealers.
And these are the people that ICE is now trying to apprehend.
It is job impossible when you consider the sheer magnitude of the task when you're talking about millions and millions of people.
And I think that is the sad reality that what they have now, you know, we're now reaping, you know, what they have sowed with their lawlessness.
And then you add sanctuary, city, and state policies to it.
And all that does is institutionalize and aid in abetting the law breaking.
Yes.
And remember, these laws that ICE agents are enforcing were passed by Republicans and Democrats.
So if you believe in quote-unquote democracy, as the left always seems to talk about, they're trying to save democracy.
That's exactly what it is.
Republicans and Democrats said they created immigration laws that are to be enforced by an agency.
That's what's happening right now.
Again, the people of America, at least the majority of them, spoke up last November or the November before last and said, we saw the disastrous open borders from Joe Biden, and we don't like that.
Adding Sanctuary Policies00:06:07
It's not like President Trump didn't talk about it.
It was literally probably the most common refrain as I spent time with him on the campaign trail.
And I know you did too.
So this is really a rebuke that Democrats have not come to grips with and they're unwilling to compromise with the American people.
They have decided that this is the most important thing for them.
And the other thing that's happening at the same time is, as you mentioned, this dehumanization of ICE agents.
Look, these guys are husbands, their fathers, their uncles, their sisters, their aunts who are just doing their jobs, right, in an incredibly difficult environment because what you see now is they want these confrontations.
They want to catch some moment that they think can ignite some color revolution.
That's really what this is.
And they think Minneapolis is the place where they make their stand.
It's really dangerous.
It's a powder keg, but it's also worth noting this isn't happening in other places.
There's bigger efforts to deport people across the country in red states with law enforcement who have the ability to cooperate with the federal authorities.
That's the real story, but you have this blue dot in a blue state.
They've decided to be sanctuary.
They've decided to be confrontational.
They've decided that they're going to be the front of the resistance.
And it's dangerous and playing out.
And I think that we're in an important moment for our country.
Are we going to be a place that yields to chaos and anarchy?
Are we a country of laws?
And I hope that we're still a place where we believe this laws still matter.
Senator Eric Schmidt, great state of Missouri.
Thank you, sir.
Appreciate your time.
All right, back to our busy telephones.
Shall we go?
Let's go to Thomas in Louisiana.
Thomas, hi.
How are you?
Glad you called.
Hey, Sean.
Thank you for taking my call.
Thank you for calling.
What's going on?
Hey, hey, Sean, I'm a 41-year experienced CPA, certified public accountant.
So fraud is something that when I hear it, you know, my radar goes up.
And when James Comer, you know, chaired this oversight on fraud and misuse in Minnesota, I mean, how guilty is the governor, Tim Waltz?
So I said, I guess.
I think he's in deep trouble.
That's my own personal opinion.
But, you know, I hesitate to say that because a lot of people should have been held accountable.
And unfortunately, you know, we had this interim period where Joe Biden was president and the statute of limitations ran out on a lot of charges for a lot of people unless we can somehow prove a grand conspiracy, which is hard to do.
Sean, I think what I'd like for your listeners to do is call legislative auditors of Minnesota.
I did that, and I looked at the last two audits that they prepared just to see how knowledgeable Tim Waltz was of the fraud.
They audited the governor's office in November of 2025, and they audited a behavioral health administration grant for January 2026.
Just came out.
It's jaw-dropping, the amount of fraud, weaknesses in internal controls, no paperwork.
Well, the amount of money, the billions of dollars we're talking about, we've got to get to the bottom of.
And by the way, then California's next, and Illinois after that, and New York after that.
And I think we're going to discover that the American people has been a systemic degree of fraud.
You know, I wish somebody like you with your experience could be in charge of this because we get to the bottom of it.
We need good accountants that will be able to determine what happened with this money.
We have enough reports now, enough anecdotal evidence for a prima facie case, as far as I'm concerned, in terms of, you know, systemic fraud that has taken place in all these states and an abuse of taxpayer money at a level that nobody ever dreamed.
We're talking about billions and tens of billions of dollars.
Thomas, I bet you're a good CPA.
If I needed a new one, I'd hire you tomorrow.
You sound like you know what you're doing.
Richard, Pennsylvania, next.
What's up, Richard?
How are you?
Glad you called, sir.
Hi, Sean.
Longtime listener, second time caller.
How are you?
I'm good.
When's the last time you called?
25 years ago, I called you.
Flipper was the call taker.
Remember Flipper?
And that goes back a ways.
Yeah, and my daughter, Leah, was ready to give birth.
And my wife's at the hospital, and Flipper started yelling at me, what are you doing on the phone?
You should be the hug.
I go, but I've been on the phone.
And she bumped me right up.
And I talked to you.
I forgot what I talked to you.
That was 25 years ago.
And then I went to the hospital and McKenzie was born.
Now she's a Penn State graduate, works in radiology in a hospital.
That was 25 years ago.
Isn't it kind of a dream of every parent?
Like, you want your kid to be something like a doctor or a lawyer or whatever?
I mean, I'm sure there's a great source of pride for you.
You know, it's a tribute to what a good dad you are.
It's a big field right now.
And my other granddaughter, Mikael, is still in college.
So, yeah, time is zipping by.
I'm 76.
I'm an Air Force veteran.
And I remember back when I was in the Air Force in the late 60s, early 70s.
Remember with the Vietnam, all the protests?
I mean, I was right in the middle of it.
I was stationed at Langley Air Force Base in Virginia.
I would come home a lot because I lived in Jersey.
Now I'm in Pennsylvania.
And six and a half hour ride.
And all this confusion that was going on.
And it really upset me.
But compared to today, that was nothing.
Costs And Regulations Calming Down00:09:51
This is like the, it bothers me that this is the divided states of America.
You look at Minnesota, you got these crazy loonies that are paid very well to do what they're doing.
And now I know Trump's, he talked to Walls today and they came to an agreement.
I didn't catch all the terms on Fox today.
Maybe you could elaborate on what they agreed to.
Yeah, the president says that Walls has agreed to fully cooperate with the feds amid the crime crackdown.
I don't believe it.
I don't believe the guy that has called ICE, Nazis, and Gestapo and made his comparison a day ago about Ann Frank, you know, the diary of Anne Frank, means what he says.
And I think that, you know, a lot of this is rooted in the reckless, irresponsible rhetoric of people like Walls and Mayor Smallfry and radical Democrats around the country.
And I think they have created, they've poured nothing but gasoline on a fire.
And this is another example.
It's the selective, feigned, phony, you know, moral outrage.
They want you to think they care about human life.
And meanwhile, all these people since Renee Goode and that incident with the car that has taken place that have been murdered in blue cities and states, many of them sanctuary status, you don't know their names because they can't blame Donald Trump.
If they cared about lives, then they would have a long time ago reestablished law and order and safety and security in their cities.
They have not.
So I don't take any of them seriously.
No.
And unfortunately, I think they're just going to keep pouring gas on the fire and allow the radicals, you know, the inmates to run the asylum.
And it's a dangerous, volatile situation.
Unfortunately, you know, I've been saying for a long time, people are going to die.
This needs to stop.
The rhetoric needs to stop.
These people need to go home and need to be, you know, cordoned off so they can't be out there coordinating and confronting ICE agents as they go about their lawful duties and fulfill their obligation to find, you know, these criminals.
You know, and they've been doing their job.
They've found the murderers and the rapists and the drug dealers and the child molesters and the child rapists.
They've arrested all these people.
I have their names.
I know who they've arrested.
They've done a great job.
They don't get any credit for it.
It's now a thankless job.
Do you think that Waltz wants to agree because he's worried about that upcoming investigation on him and Small Fry and Omar?
She's another one.
All of a sudden, she's got $30 million.
I mean, come on.
I think we have a lot of work to do to clean up the absolute unmitigated disaster that are states like Minnesota.
I really do.
And I think that we're only at the tip of the iceberg in terms of the corruption and fraud and outright theft of American tax dollars.
But anyway, you raise good points.
Richard, don't wait 25 years to call back.
All right.
All right.
Thank you, Richard.
I appreciate it.
Let's get to our busy phones here.
Let's say Joe and LRJ.
What's up, Joe in Georgia?
You got a little snow in Georgia this weekend.
I'm sorry.
It's cold in LLJ.
I think it was great that Trump had a talk with the governor of Minnesota.
Seems like things are calming down there.
But I just want to say I'm a big stock market guy, and the stock market has done so well under Trump.
It's way up today.
It's hitting records.
He's hitting records with it.
I think he said 52 times this year that Dallas hit records.
So I think we're in investor heaven, and I think Trump is by far the best leader in world history.
And I just thank God every day that we've got Donald John Trump.
And thank God, Sean, that you're out there promoting the conservative cause for the hardworking American taxpayers.
Well, I'm just asking everybody to pledge one thing.
I'm only asking one thing of every listener this year, and that is to make a pledge in your head because the Democrats think all of this chaos they are creating and a mess that they created themselves and that they poured gasoline on a fire,
that you will remember all of this and that everyone pledges that they're going to go out and vote and help defy historical trends and help the Republicans win the midterms in the House and keep the Senate and hopefully grow the majority in the Senate.
That's the only thing I'm asking.
Thanks, Joe.
Appreciate it.
John San Diego, next, Cogo Radio.
What's up, John?
How are you?
Glad you called.
Okay, Sean, last week you were talking about regulations, and people have no idea what regulations have done this economy.
Officially, there's $3 trillion of federal regulations each year.
There's $2 trillion of state regulations.
Now, most people would say, oh, well, that's $5 trillion in regulations, but it's not because those regulations are imposed on businesses and they have to pay the cost.
Well, they can't just pay the cost and ignore it.
They have to pass that cost along to the customers.
So they also pay the $5 trillion.
It's $10 trillion.
Then you have welfare, that's $2 trillion in fraud now that everybody understands.
Half of the economy is regulations that produce absolutely zero value.
And Trump proved that eliminating just last month, eliminating regulations reduces inflation and it reduces the cost.
He just did it with Ford.
What did the guy say from Ford when Trump eliminated the cafe standard of 50 mile per gallon?
He said, oh, that's going to save us $1,000 a car.
No kidding.
And that means they're going to reduce the cost of the price of their car $1,000.
Then the next week, the guy from Ford eliminated that idiot's lightning truck because they lose $30,000.
I'm talking about the EV mandate that they got rid of, too, because Ford doesn't want to make electric vehicles.
And they lost $5 billion in a year.
They were headed for bankruptcy if Democrats stayed in power.
Right.
But they can't just lose that $5 billion.
They had to add that to the cost of all the other cars.
So and who pays that?
We do.
Yeah, of course.
And one regulation that Trump eliminated has reduced the cost of building cars in America by $2,000 or $3,000 a piece.
And that's one regulation.
And then, you know, you got other regulated companies.
You want to fix interest rates so construction and real estate don't die?
That's easy, too.
You know how Treasury bonds are taxed?
They're taxed federally as regular income.
It's 37%.
Eliminate the tax and then reset the treasury bond rate to reflect that.
Because if you have a 4% Treasury bond, after taxes, you only get 2.5%.
So screw the tax and just give them the 2.5%.
Everyone will accept it because that's the way it is.
That's all you're going to get anyway.
And then you just eliminate, you just reduced the Treasury bond rate by 1.5%.
And the 10-year bond is what mortgages are based on.
So you eliminate a 0.5% on Treasury bonds immediately, go from 6% to 4.5%, and that saves construction and real estate from that planned crash that Powell was doing for the last three years.
There's all kinds of stuff to be done, and you keep lowering the prices of everything, and you will stop inflation.
Listen, we're in the process now of adjusting or transitioning from the horrors of the Biden-Harris economy into what will hopefully be the golden era.
You see gas prices down, you see inflation down, you see interest rates down.
You see coming online trillions in manufacturing investments accelerated by 100% depreciation in the first year.
That's going to be a lot of high-paying career jobs for Americans.
You see, you know, energy-dominant policies, and you see the largest tax cuts in history.
This is all a formula for economic growth, success, on top of the regulations that you're mentioning that the president is committed to eliminating and the red tape the president's committed to eliminating.
I'm talking about red tape.
Try and get a permit to build your house in the Pacific Palisades.
Good luck.
That's not going to happen.
Hey, listen, you know, Pure Talk's favorite holiday is President's Day because they believe wireless service should just cost you a couple of presidents, like a Jackson and a Lincoln, to be exact.
$25 a month, PureTalk will give you unlimited talk, unlimited text, plenty of data.
You're not going to get that from the big carriers, AT ⁇ T, Verizon T-Mobile.
PureTalk uses the same exact cell towers, the same 5G network as the big carriers.
Now, they'd rather celebrate Benjamin Franklin Day and they can charge you, you know, your family hundreds every month, and he wasn't a president.
That's the big carriers.
But with Pure Talk, the average family saving over $1,000 a year for the exact same service.
And this is a wireless company that is veteran-owned, supports veterans' causes.
