Popular protest is going to become very important here, and it's going to look very different from the first Trump administration.
We have a thug in charge of the United States.
And if we don't wake up, we may not have a United States.
Donald Trump says, We don't care.
You go die.
That's the message from the United States government.
If you were going to write a playbook for how to steal a democracy in less than 20 days, it would sure look a lot like this.
Freedom is back in style.
Welcome to the revolution.
Yeah, we're coming to your city.
Going to play our guitars and sing you a country song.

If you want to be a part of the program, in light of the news that Iran is building, the mullahs in Iran building North Korean design nuclear missiles capable of hitting Europe and Donald Trump announcing just prior to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arriving at the Oval Office that he's lifted a hold on 2,000-pound
bombs for Israel imposed by the Biden administration and that they are going to ready a billion dollars in arms sales in their battle against radical Islamic terrorism.
I think it's important that we take it to the Oval Office where Prime Minister Netanyahu and Donald Trump are meeting and taking questions from the press right now.
Let's do it.
Started at the beginning.
They deserve it, but they will never give it to us.
What's going to happen, sir?
Sir, what's the realization to go forward?
What needs to happen for normalization in Saudi Arabia?
Well, we're going to see, and we're dealing with a lot of people.
And we have steps to go yet, as you know.
And maybe those steps go forward, and maybe they don't.
We're dealing with a very complex group of people, situation, and people.
But we have the right man.
We have the right leader of Israel.
He's done a great job.
And we've been friends for a long time.
We do a great job also.
And I think we have a combination that's very unbeatable, actually.
Wait a minute.
Wait, wait, wait, wait.
Where's that person coming from?
Come on.
What would happen if you'll hear from the Israeli side today that they're not willing to go through with the deal to get all the hostages back and finish the war?
We'll see what happens.
Whatever happens, we'll be prepared to handle the situation.
But the Saudi demand is giving Iran in the same deal.
Mr. President, the Saudi is demanding a Palestinian state.
No, they're not.
Nope.
Are they demanding a path towards a Palestinian state or any other recognition?
Everybody's demanding one thing.
You know what it is?
Peace.
We want peace.
We want people to stop being killed.
But everybody's demanding one thing.
Very simple peace.
And he wants peace also.
Mr. President, do you think it's politically possible in Israel to get this deal done with the LPN?
To get the deal done?
Yeah, sure.
Is it political?
Why wouldn't a deal get done?
A deal can get done.
We'll see what happens.
We're dealing with very complicated people, but a deal can absolutely get done.
We'll see what happens.
President Trump, I want to Prime Minister Naniahu.
We have heard Joe Biden and Donald Trump take credit for the hostage and ceasefire deal.
Who do you think deserves more credit?
I think President Trump added with great force and powerful leadership to this effort.
I appreciate it.
He sent a very good emissary.
He's helped it along.
And, you know, I'll just tell you, I'm happy that they're here.
And I'm sure the President is happy that they're here.
And I think that's about enough.
Prime Minister, what about the Lizard Swoopo, the Israeli hostage health in the Russian?
What about the Israeli press taking a press conference in Israel and not in Washington?
We would love to take a press conference and to get it to the Prime Minister.
I have more question.
Prime Minister Netsanyao, do you support going forward with this deal and getting all the hostages out?
I support getting all the hostages out and meeting all our war goals.
That includes destroying Hamas's military and governing capabilities and making sure that Gaza never poses a threat to Israel against the United States.
Are you willing to go to the United States?
Are you willing to stay willing to go together?
Are you willing to get together?
You promise to the families that you do all goals to get the hostages out.
I'll ask, do you agree with Trump's vision of getting all the hostages back home, even if it means to end the war?
Well, I'm not sure that you articulate correctly what the president's vision is.
You can ask, he can speak for himself.
He does that very, very well.
I have my own views.
Three goals.
Not one, not two, three goals, and I will meet all three goals.
I think the president can help enormously.
He brings fresh thinking.
Terrorists who murdered hundreds of people who listed their home as a part of the deal.
It's a horrible thing.
We can't forget it.
I'll never forget it.
And you can't forget it.
And some people want to put it out of their memory, but we're not going to ever let that happen.
It was a horrible day, October 7th.
That was a horrible, that was a horrible period of time.
And a lot of people like to pretend it didn't happen.
It happened.
It's a big group of people that like to pretend it didn't happen, like the Holocaust didn't happen.
Same mindset.
No, we're going to get this thing wrapped up and we're going to get it done.
We're also dealing, I think, very successfully with Russia, Ukraine.
We're going to hopefully get that one done at some point in the not too distant future.
That's a complex problem also.
But we solve problems.
You know, when I left, we had no problem.
There was no Ukraine and Russia fighting.
There was no October 7th.
There was nothing.
And some very poor leadership led to a lot of problems and a lot of death.
And it's a shame, but we'll put it out.
We'll put out the fires.
We have a lot of fires, but we'll put them out.
Audience governments support the Palestinian state like the peace plan you presented in January 2020.
Is this plan still on the table?
Well, a lot of plans change with time, and a lot of death has occurred since I left and now came back.
This death occurred not while I was here, but while somebody else was here.
It shouldn't have happened.
They shouldn't have allowed it to happen.
It would have never happened.
And that includes Russia-Ukraine would have never happened.
Not even a little bit, not even a chance.
But now we are faced with a situation that's different, in some ways better and in some ways worse.
But we're faced with a very complex and difficult situation, but we'll solve the problem.
If not Jordan, Egypt, what other countries you think might accept Palestinians from Gaza?
Well, I think Jordan and Egypt will, I know they've spoken about it with you, and they say they're not going to accept.
I say they will.
But I think other countries will accept also.
I think that Gaza maybe is a demolition site right now.
If you look at Gaza, it's all, I mean, there's hardly a building standing, and the ones that are are going to collapse.
You can't live in Gaza right now.
And I think we need another location.
I think it should be a location that's going to make people happy.
You look over the decades, it's all death in Gaza.
This has been happening for years.
It's all death.
If we can get a beautiful area to resettle people permanently in nice homes and where they can be happy and not be shot, not be killed, not be knifed to death like what's happening in Gaza.
And right now you have in Gaza a very dangerous situation in terms of explosives all over the place, in terms of tunnels that nobody knows who's in the tunnel.
The whole thing is a mess.
And I think that if we can resettle, and I believe we can do it in areas where the leaders currently say no.
I mean, I've been saying that with Mexico having to do with the border and all of the things.
And you saw what happened, 10,000 soldiers, and they're going to do a good job.
I really believe that.
And I believe Canada is going to do a good job also.
And they said the same thing.
And then they did something much different than what you were hearing.
This is a very, very difficult situation, but we're going to get it solved.
I don't think people should be going back to Gaza.
I think that Gaza has been very unlucky for them.
They've lived like hell.
They lived like you're living in hell.
Gaza is not a place for people to be living.
And the only reason they want to go back, and I believe this strongly, is because they have no alternative.
What's the alternative?
Go where?
There's no other alternative.
If they had an alternative, they'd much rather not go back to Gaza and live in a beautiful alternative that's safe.
Would Palestinians have the right to return to Gaza if they left while rebuilding was there?
It would be my hope that we could do something really nice, really good, where they wouldn't want to return.
Why would they want to return?
The place has been hell.
It's been one of the meanest, one of the meanest, toughest places on earth.
And right now, I've seen every picture from every angle, better than if I were there.
And nobody can live there.
You can't live there.
So if we can build them through massive amounts of money supplied by other people, very rich nations, and they're willing to supply it.
If we can build something for them in one of the countries, and it could be Jordan, it could be Egypt, it could be other countries, and you could build four or five or six areas.
It doesn't have to be one area.
But you take certain areas and you build really good quality housing, like a beautiful town, like someplace where they can live and not die, because Gaza is a guarantee that they're going to end up dying.
The same thing is going to happen again.
It's happened over and over again.
And it's going to happen again as sure as you're standing there, Peter.
So I hope that we could do something where they wouldn't want to go back.
Who would want to go back?
They've experienced nothing but death and destruction.
Well, I don't think they're going to tell me now.
I don't think they're going to tell me.
I think they're going to tell Biden no, and I think they're going to tell other people no.
So, do you think it will happen at the end?
I think there's a good chance.
How many people are you thinking about?
All of them.
I mean, we're talking about probably a million seven people, a million seven, maybe a million eight.
But I think all of them, I think they'll be resettled in areas where they can live a beautiful life and not be worried about dying every day.
Mr. President, Leo Lord, Mr. President, do you support building settlements back in Gaza in the next years?
Say it.
Building settlements, Jewish settlements, back in Gaza in the next year.
Do you support this idea?
I don't see it happening.
It's too dangerous for people.
Nobody can go there.
It's too dangerous.
Nobody wants to be there.
Warriors don't want to be there.
Soldiers don't want to be there.
How can you have people go back?
You're saying go back into Gaza now?
The same thing's going to happen.
It'll only be death.
The best way to do it is you go out and you get beautiful, open areas with the sunlight coming through.
No, that's not what I meant.
They are not going to want to go back to Gaza.
Prime Minister, what is your message to the families of the hostages that look at this deal?
They're worried that the steel won't go through.
What do you say to them at this moment?
Same message I said from the beginning of the war.
Get them out.
Get them back.
You got over 70%, close to 75% of the people who everybody believed will not get out.
We got them in successive deals.
And most recently, with the help of President Trump, we're not going to give up on any of them.
And we're not going to give up on our other war ends.
Hamas is not going to be in Gaza.
And we're going to get everyone back.
And we would not have.
How optimistic are you about reaching phase two of the ceasefire?
How optimistic are you about that happening?
Well, we're going to try.
That's one of the reasons, one of the things we're going to talk about here.
You know, when Israel and the United States work together, and President Trump and I work together, you know, the chances go up a lot.
It's when we don't work together, Israel and the United States don't work together.
All right, for stations along the Sean Hannity Show Network, we're going to continue our coverage of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Trump in the Oval Office.
We will get to your calls at the bottom of the half hour, 800-941-Sean, as they continue to talk about Gaza and replacing where the people in Gaza will be living and, of course, dealing with the threat of Iran.
Back to the Oval Office.
It's happened over and over again, and it's going to happen again, as sure as you're standing there, Peter.
So I hope that we could do something where they wouldn't want to go back.
Who would want to go back?
They've experienced nothing but death and destruction.
And you think the same thing is the world in Israel.
Egypt and Jordan tell you no.
What will you do then?
Well, I don't think they're going to tell me no.
I don't think they're going to tell me.
I think they're going to tell Biden no, and I think they're going to tell other people no.
So you think it will happen at the end?
I think there's a good chance.

Hamas is not going to be in Gaza.
And we're going to get everyone back.
And you would not have...
How optimistic are you about reaching phase two of the ceasefire?
How optimistic are you not happy?
Well, we're going to try.
That's one of the reasons, one of the things we're going to talk about here.
You know, when Israel and the United States work together, and President Trump and I work together, the chances go up a lot.
It's when we don't work together, Israel and the United States don't work together, that creates problems.
When the other side sees daylight between us and occasionally in the last few years, to put it mildly, then it's more difficult.
Now that you have to cooperate with it once and for all, say it?
Now that Iran is so weak, isn't it the right time to give their nuclear facilities once and for all?
So you say Iran is so weak.
I appreciate you saying that.
They're not weak.
They're very strong right now, and we're not going to allow them to have a nuclear weapon.
It's very simple.
You know, I signed a very strong proclamation.
Iran was in big trouble when I left.
They were broke.
They didn't have money for Hamas.
They didn't have any money for Hezbollah.
You had no problem.
October 7th could have never happened.
When I left, October 7th could have never happened.
And frankly, Russia and Ukraine, as I said, could never have happened.
They became very strong, very fast.
They sold massive amounts of oil to China and everybody else who would not buy the oil when I was president because we said, don't buy the oil.
And they became very rich very quickly.
But they're not weak.
They're not weak.
They're strong.
It doesn't mean they won't be weak.
But you know what?
We just don't want them to have a nuclear weapon.
They can't have a nuclear weapon.
Sorry, sir.
Mr. President, the Prime Minister wants you to spike you on.
That's what he wants.
He doesn't know what he wants.
What do you know about anything?
But is that option that's on the table?
President Trump, is that option on the table?
You're not just talking about Jordan.
No, it could be other places too.
There are many people that have reached out, many countries, many leaders of countries that have reached out that would like to participate in that.
It doesn't have to be Jordan and Egypt, but I think it would be also them.
Your relationship with Mr. Netanyahu knew up and down.
How do you describe it?
No, I think it's mostly ups.
Mr. President, what about the Philistinian Authority?
Should we rule Gaza?
Because Gaza will be empty.
What?
The Palestinian Authority.
Can it rule Gaza?
What do you think?
Well, it's had a pretty hard time, wouldn't you say?
I'd say it's had a pretty bad time of it.
Mr. President, Qatar has criticized them in the past as a funder of terrorism, so is the Prime Minister.
Do you think they're part of the solution or part of a problem moving forward?
I think they're trying to help.
Qatar is absolutely trying to help.
I know them very well, and they're doing everything they can.
Very tough situation, but they're absolutely trying to help.
Thank you very much, everybody.
All right, you've been listening to President Trump.
There it is, as we've been listening to President Trump, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Believe it or not, that was in the Oval Office.
I'm not sure what questions are left to ask at this particular point, but they covered a lot of ground, the resettlement of Palestinians in Gaza.
There has been a lot of talk of absorb people absorbing other countries, absorbing the population of the people of Gaza.
Prime Minister Netanyahu, very, very strong, and saying that Hamas and Gaza will be demilitarized.
I've got to imagine the same has to happen for the North and Hezbollah and Islamic Jihad.
And, of course, the bulk of discussions also about Iran.
You just heard President Trump say that if they ever try to assassinate him again, he will obliterate them.
I don't think he was mincing words by any stretch of the imagination.
This, in light of the news of the day, which is that Iran has been building North Korean-designed nuclear missiles capable of hitting Europe.
And probably the big news of the day, I think more importantly, is that the U.S. under Donald Trump is preparing a billion-dollar arms sale to Israel.
The planned sale comes weeks after President Trump lifted a hold on 2,000-pound bombs for Israel imposed by the Biden administration, obviously leading the way for bunker-buster bombs.
And probably a wink and nod and a message that is being sent and I'm sure received in Iran that they are in deep trouble.
That basically Donald Trump is not going to do anything but assist Israel in their victory in their war against radical Islamic terrorism.
The Iranians have gotten away under Biden and Harris with murder.
They have gotten away with funding proxy wars.
They have gotten away with getting rich.
And President Trump referenced this a number of times that by him putting sanctions in place, it cut off all of their monies and they were on the verge of bankruptcy.
You might recall four years ago that there were uprisings all over Iran.
Young people were beginning to feel that the mullahs were on the verge.
They were teetering on the verge of collapse.
And, you know, it's pretty amazing.
And I think that it is, as Prime Minister Netanyahu said, it is an unbeatable combination if the U.S. and Israel stay strong together.
And this, and the last thing that President Trump said is Iran can never have a nuclear weapon.
And he's right.
And if that means Israel is going to take those sites out, we learned after the attack in April of last year when they responded how deep they penetrated into Iranian airspace.
All right, 25 to the top of the hour, 800-941 Sean, you want to be a part of the program, and we'll get to your calls in a minute.
Look, it's still the Harris-Biden economy.
We need Congress to act.
We need reconciliation bills.
They're hoping by May the sooner the better, as far as I'm concerned.
U.S.A.I.D.
is just the beginning of the gutting, the cutting, the waste, the fraud, the abuse, the return to constitutional order, limited government, greater freedom.
But in the meantime, you've got to find ways that you and your family can save money.
And one way you can do it, not sacrifice service, is with my cell phone provider, and that is Pure Talk.
I mean, this country was founded on freedom, freedom from a country that forced us to buy overpriced tea.
Don't buy overpriced anything.
The beauty of Pure Talk is they'll give you the exact same cell towers, the same exact 5G network, the same exact service, and you pay about half, and the average family saves close to $1,000 a year.
And they also have plans to get a free phone.
For example, with my cell phone company, they say no to inflated prices.
For example, you can get a plan, $45 a month, and get a free iPhone 14 or Samsung gallery, a Samsung Galaxy.
You can get all that.
And for premium service that includes unlimited talk and text and 25 gigs of data, mobile hotspot, roaming, that's less than half what the big guys are charging.
Anyway, get your iPhone 14, your Samsung Galaxy.
You pay nothing.
You dial pound 250 on your cell.
You say the keyword save now and you make the switch.
It's simple.
It's fast.
It's easy.
Pound 250, keyword, save now, claim your new iPhone and save about half on your wireless bill for the same service from PureTalk, America's wireless company.
You know, back to this extravagant, insane spending that we discovered with USAID, hundreds of millions of dollars in the left's meltdown over it.
It is just interesting to watch the hatred towards Elon Musk that has emerged.
I mean, you know, let's listen to the genius, shall we?
The head of the squad, AOC, saying Elon Musk is not smart.
Okay, he sends satellites into orbit.
He's going to rescue astronauts that are stuck out there in space.
He has created a form of communication that is really, really inexpensive.
It's called Starlink.
And, you know, for all the hatred of Elon Musk today, I thought liberals loved electric cars.
Apparently, they just don't like him because he doesn't agree with their politics.
Listen.
This dude is probably one of the most unintelligent billionaires I have ever met or seen or witnessed.
Which, you know, you can probably even glean that from watching these people on TV.
This dude is not smart.
And the danger in not in the lack of intelligence and the lack of expertise that Elon has.
I mean, this guy is one of the most morally vacant, but also just least knowledgeable about these systems that we really know of.
I mean, taking lectures on being smart, Elon Musk versus AOC.
Let me see.
Who do I think is smarter?
Oh, that's a tough one.
The same thing over at that hard-hitting news show, The View.
They're slamming Elon over access to the government's bank account.
Well, how are you going to cut government if you don't know where we're spending all of this money?
What they're really angry about is they got exposed.
They got exposed that all their money is being, you know, hundreds of millions of dollars poured down the drain to foreign countries to advance their radical, leftist, new Green Deal, woke DEI promoting, transgender promoting, you know, radicalism.
And they're not looking out for the American people.
This is a constitutional crisis.
No, it's not.
Not at all.
This is not money being spent on the American people.
This is money that is being stolen from the American people.
Listen.
So, I mean, are Americans going to be okay with Musk?
Oh, okay.
A guy nobody voted for having all this kind of power.
And, you know, the news outlet Wired found out that at least six of the gentlemen on Elon Musk's team are between the ages of 19 to 24 with little or no government experience.
And no one is, one is in college.
I mean, who are these people and why do they have access to any of your business?
Well, they don't.
What they're doing is actually illegal.
What he is trying to do is trying to figure out how he can expand his power, the power of the executive branch, and have a little more power over Congress.
Maybe my favorite, though, is not even the view, but Van Jones over at Fake News CNN.
Donald Trump is telling people to die by stopping U.S. aid.
Okay, listen.
People are going to die in very large numbers around the world who are expecting the United States to live up to our promises to get them medicine, to get them help.
And when that happens, people are going to remember that there are people right now who have HIV who are alive only because the United States is making sure of that.
Donald Trump says, we don't care.
You go die.
That's the message from the United States government.
It is the wrong message to be sending, and it opens up the door for China.
And other people say at least we're a stable government who's not going to leave you out here to die.
This is not an abstract conversation for people around the world.
You can't get any more hyperbolic, to be honest.
It's just insane.
Yeah, all this really, really important money that they're spending.
$20 million, Sesame Street Show in Iraq, $56 million to boost Egyptian Tunisian tourism.
Let's see, $40 million to build schools in Georgia, $11 million to tell the Vietnamese to stop spending, to stop burning cash, $45 million to DEI scholarships in Burma, $520 million for consultant-driven ESG investments in Africa, DEI musicals.
Let's see.
On top of that, electric vehicles, millions of dollars for Vietnam, the transgender opera, the transgender comic book, DEI in Serbia, the DEI musical, another one, a transgender opera in Colombia, and that's not even the big dollar items.
Renewable energy for Colombia.
Spend a lot of money on Colombia.
You know, $6.7 million to protect biodiversity from wildlife crimes in southern Africa.
Oh, yeah, that's really, let's go to Van Jones.
That's really going to, that's telling people to die by stopping the aid.
$24 million for green transportation logistics in Georgia, the country of Georgia.
$29 million for agricultural trade diversification programs in Georgia.
$18.9 million for financial innovation programs.
And it goes on.
$24 million for a green economy program contract award in the country of Georgia.
A lot of money for Georgia.
And I just don't have the time to go through it all.
We'll scroll it all on TV tonight to keep you up to speed, but it's rough.
Anyway, let's get to our phones.
Let us say hi to Joe in Virginia.
What's up, Joe?
How are you?
Glad you called.
Sean, what a pleasure and a privilege to speak with an exceptional patriotic American.
Thank you, sir.
Thank you, my friend.
What's going on?
The Democratic Misinformation System, which is in full board, talking against the Trump tax cuts, aligning them with the billionaires.
And the facts be known, there are about 800 billionaires here in the States.
But also, there are 34 million small businesses who support 47% of the workforce.
So I think it's pretty obvious that the tax cuts favor and help.
Many, many small businesses, the small guys that are out there working hard to support this country.
And the more money they save, they can hire more people.
Money turns over more often, and more money goes into the Internal Revenue Service.
Let me tell you something.
Looking at this list of monies that is being wasted, all the waste fraud, abuse, and advancement of this Green New Deal radical agenda, leftism, greenism, wokeism, DEIism, transgenderism, LGBTQ agenda.
These are for countries that for other countries.
And we have Americans.
We didn't even help the people in North Carolina after Hurricane Helene for crying out loud.
It's unbelievable to me.
This should shock the conscience of Americans.
And this is, you know, woke, green, trans, DEI.
I mean, it just, it has to stop.
It has to stop.
And it will stop.
And to lash out at Elon is unbelievable to me.
But I want the Trump tax cuts.
I want working men and women not to be taxed on the overtime.
They put in that extra effort.
Why should they be taxed?
I don't want taxes on tips.
I mean, you earn a tip.
I mean, really, I mean, we're going to take every nickel out of people's pockets, the gold out of people's teeth when they die.
It's unreal.
You pay taxes your whole life, then you die, then they tax what you have remaining.
How about you get to donate it to charity or donate it to your family?
And then they won't be dependent on government.
All right, Joe, we love you, man.
Appreciate it.
God bless you.
Thank you for being out there.
Let's say hi to Hector is in El Paso, Texas.
God bless Texas, Hector.
What's going on?
Yes, sir.
I'm here at the front lines.
I'm retired Homeland Security.
I was there when Trump was in office, and we saw zero, almost zero migrants coming in.
And the first day that Biden took office, we had an influx of migrants, drugs, and everything.
I watched it with my own eyes.
As I said, you know, I can't stand this anyway.
I had to retire.
I mean, I just couldn't take it anymore.
It's just the influx.
Remember, Joe invited him in.
Joe said, come to America.
Yes, sir.
He told the world to come.
Well, we were ordered to open the King Kong gates, you know, with the big gates you see on the border.
We were ordered to open those gates wide open.
And we went all the way down from Tucson all the way down to Fort Hancock, opening the gates so these people could come in.
And they started coming in the very next day.
Tom Holman has been kicking ass.
Christy Noam's been taking names.
I mean, it is, there's a new sheriff in town, and it went down 93% of illegal crossings since Donald Trump's taking office.
He's now in his third week.
Yeah, well, I wouldn't take the cartel in Mexico very lightly there.
They mean business.
I mean, I was there, you know, death threats and whatever you have on the border.
And I left Tom.
Yeah, it's real.
It's got to get better than this.
It's got to get better than this.
I can't take this.
And ever since Trump took the first day here at Biggs Army Airfield, I can see it from my house.
I live up on the mountain.
And I can see Biggs Airfield with the C-130 transports.
They've been busy for the past week.
For the past week.
Good.
People have been taking off.
And the first illegal drops have been made to Gitmo.
On top of that, El Salvador is offering to take illegals from any country and house them there.
I'm like, fine, you can have them.
Thank you very much.
Right now, as we're talking, there's six C-130 galaxies.
Well, one big galaxy, and then there's five C-130s, and they're there at Biggsfield.
And I've noticed the difference ever since Trump took office.
That, well, I have an alleyway in the back of my house.
And that alleyway was used for migrants to transport their stuff up the alleys and to Alabama and up north.
And they're paying attention to the city.
Look at what Colombia said initially.
Mexico said initially.
Canada said it initially.
They weren't going to take them.
And guess what?
They reversed course almost immediately.
Venezuela didn't even want to pick a fight.
They're offering to fly their planes in, pick them up, and take all their illegals home, including Trende Aragua members.
Appreciate the call, my friend.
God bless Texas Hector.
George in my free state of Florida.
George, how are you?
We have about 90 seconds.
Hey, thank you.
Thank you.
I appreciate your service to America as well.
I'm a retired Naval Air Crewman, Senior Chief, and I've been retired 15 years.
And, you know, chiefs like to solve problems.
And when I heard about this air traffic controller problem, this shouldn't be a problem because every week there are active duty air traffic controllers leaving from every branch of service that are just leaving.
So that's something maybe Secretary Hedge can send something out fleet-wide.
But the other thing is, anyone that has less than six years or four years of service, the president can automatically extend their active duty for two years.
Of course, we want to try and get volunteers to do this first.
And the other thing is, anyone that's separating.
Well, there was no shortage of people.
What we've learned is these DEI policies first implemented by Obama, you know, that would allow people with psychiatric problems and people with intellectual deficiencies, you know, to take these positions.
I mean, again, a lot of this went under the radar.
You know, I follow the news closely every day.
I interview a lot of lawmakers and senators, and nobody knew about it.
All this was happening.
There were thousands of people that applied and even took the test and got 100% on the exam, and they were never hired.
And now we have a shortage of air traffic controls.
Right.
My idea is just to try and do the stopgap until the normal training program that's already in place catches up.
These are fully trained air traffic controllers that are separating.
So if you have less than 30 years of service and you're going to retire, you're actually receiving a retainer every month, which means you can come back to active duty immediately.
They'll pay you active pay, but you can be activated until you have 30 years of service.
I have been retired for 15 years.
You could give me the checklist of MATOPs.
In a week, I could be a qualified observer.
In 30 days, I could be deployable.
There's no reason for this.
I agree.
And you know what?
They also have a very early retirement age, and they can hire back some of those people.
It makes no sense.
You know, people that are more than capable and experienced, they would put an age limit on it.
If we're going to do that, maybe we can put an age limit on these members of the U.S. Senate that, you know, lose their minds before they ever leave office.
I've got to run, though.
I appreciate your call, George.
God bless you, ma'am.
800-941-Shauna's on number.
Hey there, I'm Mary Catherine Hammond, and I'm Carol Markowitz.
We've been in political media for a long time.
Long enough to know that it's gotten, well, a little insane.
That's why we started Normally, a podcast for people who are over the hysteria and just want clarity.
We talk about the issues that actually matter to the country without panic, without yelling, and with a healthy dose of humor.
We don't take ourselves too seriously, but we do take the truth seriously.
So if you're into common sense, sanity, and some occasional sass, you're our kind of people.
Catch new episodes of Normally every Tuesday and Thursday on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you listen.
All right, that's going to wrap things up for today.
Complete breakdown of all of Donald Trump's comments on the Middle East today, everything that's going on with Doge, the Democratic freak out over U.S. aid, and what that money has really been spent on.
Billions of dollars of your dollars wasted.
