Donald Trump had no choice on the CNN moderators, the President accepted anyway because he knows what he's getting into but if you think there's a fair debate coming, you're very wrong. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

We got you.
I'm Carol Markowitz, and I'm Mary Catherine Hamm.

We'll keep you informed and entertained without ruining your day.
Join us every Tuesday and Thursday, normally, on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
All right.
Thank you, Scott Shannon, and thanks to all of you for being with us.
Here is our toll-free telephone number.
What a week this is going to be.
It's 800-941-Sean, if you'd want to join us.
We're 133 days until Election Day, 84 days until early voting begins in Pennsylvania, then rolls out around the country.
And the first presidential debate will be on Thursday.
And then we have Stanley Cup game number seven tonight.
My Florida Panthers, Linda, cannot get over that I'm a Florida Panthers fan with a Florida Panthers jersey that has gone to Florida Panthers game at sunrise.
I'm a full-on Floridian now, but they're at game seven against Edmonton.
They'd gone up 3-0.
It's now 3-3.
You never want to get to a game seven is my best advice.
But the big issue on people's minds is going to be the big debate that takes place on Thursday.
And really, there are two questions that I have going into this debate.
We know, and I've got all the tape that you'd ever want to hear, and we're going to play it throughout the show.
I'm not going to play it all now.
Fake Jake Tapper and Dana Bash, fake Dana, that are moderating the debate.
Now, you need to know a little bit of the background here is most of the terms of this debate were dictated by the mob in the media and by Joe Biden.
Make my day.
I'm challenging you to two debates, but I'm only going to allow these four networks.
And usually, if you had the Presidential Debate Commission, they would have to agree on who the moderators are.
I can't think of two more biased moderators than fake Jake and Dana Bash.
And Donald Trump had no say in that.
And muting the microphone and all the other rules that they put in place.
They were able to win a couple of concessions.
I've got the background by my sources telling me Joe wanted to sit down and certain minor concessions the Trump team won.
I think one of the most corrupt areas where you're going to see fake news CNN bias the most is they're going to ask a question and then put on the screen a truncated version of the question.
Donald Trump answers why he supports insurrection.
That's something as abusively biased as that.
These are not people that are journalists.
They are talk show hosts.
How many times do I have to tell people this until they finally completely and fully understand that this is what we're dealing with here?
And some people have said to me, well, why did President Trump accept it?
I said, because he thinks it's important for the country to see presidential candidates debate.
He knows he's walking into a three-on-one situation.
I mean, it was God-awful this morning.
Now, an hour from now, at the top of the next hour, Caroline Levitt will join us.
And Caroline Levitt was on fake news CNN this morning.
She's President Trump's national press secretary.
And she went on to point out the obvious and a lot of the tape that we've been playing.
And that is that Jake Tapper has a clear bias.
And Dana Bash has a clear bias against Donald Trump.
It did not go over particularly well.
We'll let her explain what happened in her own words, but this is what went down this morning.
She's on with Casey Hunt, whoever she is, and Casey Hunt, as soon as Caroline Levitt just started telling the truth about fake Jake and fake Dana, was basically thrown off the air.
But you can come back anytime.
No, you can't come back anytime if you're not going to let her talk.
Listen.
What do you expect from Joe Biden?
Well, first of all, so it takes someone five minutes to Google Jake Tapper, Donald Trump to see that Jake Tapper has to be aware of.
President Trump called Adolf Hilter.
Ma'am, I'm going to stop this interview if you're not going to be able to.
I'm stating to attack my colleagues.
I would like to talk about Donald Trump, who you work for.
Yes.
If you are here to speak on his behalf, I will have this conversation.
I am stating facts that your colleagues have stated in the past.
Now, ask some facts.
We're going to come back to the next one.
Caroline, thank you very much for your time.
You are welcome to come back at any point.
She is welcome to come back and speak about Donald Trump and Donald Trump will have equal time to Joe Biden when they both join us now at next early later this week in Atlanta for this week.
Offensive.
Blah, blah, blah.
What's the point of going on if you're not going to let the woman talk and give her opinion?
I mean, let's listen to fake Jake Tapper.
Now, here's the question you need to ask yourself as you listen to fake Jake.
And I have an unlimited supply of cuts that I can play here.
This is not an isolated moment of fake Jake Tapper being biased and hating Donald Trump.
I have entire montages of it.
We're going to show a lot of it on TV tonight so you can actually see it.
But, you know, here's, does it get, ask yourself, is this somebody who claims to be a journalist?
Is this journalism or is this a radical, left-wing, Trump-hating liberal talk show host?
Here's fake Jake.
Wolf, it has also been a time of extreme divisions, many of the divisions caused and exacerbated by President Trump himself.
It's been a time of several significant and utterly avoidable failures.
Most tragically, of course, the unwillingness to respect facts and science and do everything that could be done to save lives during a pandemic.
It has been a time where truth and fact were treated with disdain.
It is a time of cruelty where official inhumanity, such as child separation, became the official shameful policy of the United States.
But now the Trump presidency is coming to an end.
To an end.
With so many squandered opportunities and ruined potential, but also an era of just plain meanness.
It must be said, to paraphrase President Ford, for tens of millions of our fellow Americans, their long national nightmare is over.
For tens of millions of Americans, their long national nightmare is over.
Now, is that journalism or is that a Trump-hating liberal talk show host?
Because I would argue it's the latter.
Now, here's a little montage of the two of them together.
Jake Tapper, Dana Bash.
Ask yourself the same question.
Are these radical, Trump-hating liberal talk show hosts or are they journalists as they claim?
They're not journalists.
There's nothing wrong with being a liberal talk show host, but they're not honest about who they are.
Donald Trump had no say in choosing the moderators.
Fake News CNN and Joe Biden and the Biden administration, they dictated the terms of this debate.
Trump accepted.
He knows what he's getting into.
But I just want every American to know what Donald Trump is getting into as well.
And you'll see this bias on display.
Listen.
Insults, invective, and outright lies.
That's what we heard from Donald Trump in Iowa this weekend.
We're not carrying his remarks live because, frankly, he says a lot of things that are not true and sometimes potentially dangerous.
Most important question now is the culpability of the president of the United States and the fact that he went to that rally and called for an incited violence.
A fitting end to the Trump presidency, a speech full of puffery and lies.
Although, of course, with this president, it always could have been worse.
Do they sound like Trump-hating liberal talk show hosts, you know, state-run media, or do they sound like journalists?
You know, at Fox, we have a news division.
I don't work for the news division at Fox.
I work for the opinion division at Fox.
And I'm very honest.
Now, I'm a member of the press.
I do straight reporting.
I have thousands of hours to prove it.
I do investigative reporting, thousands of hours to prove it.
I give opinion.
I am upfront about my political point of view.
I support Donald Trump for president this year, and I will be voting for him.
And I don't hide who I am.
Yeah, I'm a member of the press.
That's part of my job of being a talk show host.
They're talk show hosts, but they lie.
And they claim that there's something that they're not.
Now, the other thing to be on the lookout for is Joe Biden has now gone into hiding for, what, eight, nine days, whatever it happens to be.
You know, which Joe Biden is going to show up?
Is it going to be regular cognitively impaired Joe that we see every day?
And then we have this one little anomaly at the State of the Union.
I call it jacked up Joe or a hyper-caffeinated Joe.
And which Joe is going to show up?
I can't answer that question.
If I had to bet, I'd say it's an 85 to 90% chance that it's going to be jacked up Joe.
And it's interesting that we never saw this Joe before the State of the Union.
He wouldn't even allow the speaker time to introduce him for crying out loud.
But we never saw jacked-up, hyper-caffeinated Joe after.
And that tells me that whatever Joe was drinking, maybe it was just something like Red Bull or eating or taking whatever it was, which I do think they should drug test.
I agree with 70% of Americans.
Do that for horses and horse racing.
You do it for athletes that are high-performing athletes.
Why not for presidential candidates?
Trump said he would do it.
Why won't Joe agree to do it?
So I don't know which one's going to show up.
I would bet it's going to be jacked up, hyper-caffeinated Joe.
Maybe we'll put a poll up on Hannity.com about it.
Is the guy that we saw at the State of the Union or the guy that we see every day?
Here's a side-by-side of both Joes.
I guess I should clear my mind here a little bit and not say what I'm really thinking.
My predecessor came to office determined to see Roe v.
Rain overturned.
He's reason was overturned, and he brags about it.
BPA administrator here with me, PPA Administrator Regan, as well.
But they failed.
America stood, America stood and democracy prevailed.
God used to say, Joey, a paycheck is about more than, a job is about more than a paycheck.
It has dropped from 9% to 3%, the lowest in the world and tending lower.
The landing is and will be soft.
Regular cognitively impaired Joe or jacked up, hypercaffeinated Joe.
I would bet the latter.
That's my particular point of view.
But either way, this debate is going to go on.
And, you know, it's look, there's a lot of things that I would tell you.
I don't think Donald Trump, I think if he is way more prepared just based on the fact that Donald Trump gives speeches and rallies and speaks off the top of his head.
When I last saw him, for example, I think the total interview time was like an hour and 10 minutes.
I ended up running it for like three or four nights.
And it was a full hour the first night.
Then I'd run another segment or two the next number of nights.
And he went straight through.
And he was well versed on every topic.
And there was no stuttering, stammering.
There was no cognitive impairment at all.
Although the media laughably is trying to make a comparison that doesn't exist.
If he has one little verbal gaffe, ah, see, he's got a cognitive.
No, he doesn't have cognitive issues.
He doesn't.
And then immediately after he did a long interview with me, he went into another room at Mar-a-Lago.
I stepped in while it was going on.
They didn't see me step in.
The president didn't see me step in, nor did Dr. Phil see me step in.
And then he ended up doing another long interview with Dr. Phil.
And then immediately after that, there was a wonderful group of people, including, remember the woman that he met at the Chick-fil-A, I believe it was in Atlanta, and a group of people that came to meet the president and have dinner with the president.
Then he was going straight from the Dr. Phil interview right into dinner with this group of people, and dinners usually take a couple hours.
And that's a typical day in Donald Trump's life.
He doesn't stop from the moment he wakes up to the moment he goes to sleep.
And I don't think he sleeps for three or four hours a night.
I know, because I don't sleep for three or four hours a night.
So those are the questions that we will, I guess, have answered by Thursday.
I know some of you are worried.
I am not in that category.
I think Donald Trump will do just fine, regardless of which Joe shows up.
I think Donald Trump is well versed on the issues.
I think the fact that it might end up being three-on-one and that they'll try to interrupt Trump and that fake news CNN will use their Chirons, meaning what they put up on the screen with their truncated questions, to be as harsh and as abusively biased as you would expect.
And I think that Donald Trump can still walk away the big winner in this debate.
There are people that are saying, well, Hannity, just tell him, if you talk to him, tell him not to go in there and really take, you know, tell him to just lay back a little bit.
That's not my advice for Donald Trump.
My advice is be yourself.
Be Donald Trump.
I think the one mistake he made in the first debate, the last election season, I thought he was aggressive and didn't let Joe talk enough.
Well, that's kind of taken care of because they're going to turn his mic off after a two-minute answer and then after a one-minute answer.
But just know the deck is stacking against him.
But he's doing it anyway.
He thinks it's important for the American people.
I agree with him.
Hey there, I'm Mary Catherine Hamm.
And I'm Carol Markowitz.
We've been in political media for a long time.
Long enough to know that it's gotten, well, a little insane.
That's why we started Normally, a podcast for people who are over the hysteria and just want clarity.
We talk about the issues that actually matter to the country without panic, without yelling, and with a healthy dose of humor.
We don't take ourselves too seriously, but we do take the truth seriously.
So if you're into common sense, sanity, and some occasional sass.
You're our kind of people.
Catch new episodes of Normally every Tuesday and Thursday.
On the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you listen.

There's really only so much to prepare for, and that is you've got to have a strategy in terms of how you're going to react in terms of Joe's predictable attacks, you know, convicted felon, insurrectionist, and all the names that he's going to call them.
Threat to democracy, radical, unhinged.
I mean, that's not that hard to figure out.
But then the next thing, you probably have to have a strategy to deal with fake Jake and fake Dana.
And I don't think that's hard to figure out.
Then you'll have the predictable, you know, who won the 2020 election questions.
And you encourage violence and insurrection on January 6th, and you'll use your office for retribution and revenge.
And you might put Rachel Maddow in day camp and AOC in jail, et cetera.
And then, you know, abortion, abortion, abortion.
What do they got after that?
Then they got to talk about foreign policy and domestic policy.
More on the other side.
All right.
So the debates on Thursday.
We know we have, you know, we're not sure which Joe shows up, jacked up, hyper-caffeinated Joe or regular old cognitively impaired Joe.
And so that's a question mark.
I expect the latter.
I think it's going to be jacked up, hyper-caffeinated Joe.
I think it'll be very apparent to the country if that happens.
And he just compare and contrast the way we did in the last segment.
We'll do it later in the program as well.
Joe Biden in Everyday Joe versus the State of the Union Joe.
And what's important in a debate?
You know, who really is an audience?
There are people that support Donald Trump that will be watching.
There are going to be people that support Biden that will be watching.
And then there's this other group of people we often refer to as independents.
They will be watching.
And they're going to expect Donald Trump because of the false narrative, media portrayal of him as unhinge Donald Trump, unhinged Donald Trump.
That's all they're going to do.
And you're going to watch Joe Biden is going to come in, and Joe Biden will have his rehearsed lines if he can even remember them.
Joe Biden will do kind of what Gavin Newsom did, and that's, you know, slickly and slyly avoid things and just not tell the truth.
And the media won't want to call him out on it.
But I think they're going to have one goal.
I think their goal is going to be to try to piss off Trump.
And I don't think Trump will fall for it.
I would bet everything I have.
He's not, you're a convicted felon.
You're an insurrectionist.
You're a threat to democracy.
You're unhinged, et cetera, et cetera.
I have great responses, but I really don't want to give those responses because I don't know.
I'm not sure if the media, I know the media mob listens to the show.
There are people that are paid to actually monitor losers that sit in their basement in their underwear that record this show and hope that I say one word, one sentence, one phrase that they can then use to attack me, try and get me fired, get me boycotted.
So more importantly, Why would I want to telegraph what I think good answers would be?
And then they can go running back to the White House.
Hannity thinks that he's going to say this.
Hannity thinks he's going to say that.
Hannity doesn't know what he's going to say.
I don't think Donald Trump knows what he's going to say.
I know he knows these topics inside and out.
I've just listened to him at his rallies, and he's very well versed on any of these issues.
I don't think that fake Jake and fake Dana are going to want to spend a lot of time on all of the people.
We'll discuss it later in the program today that have been raped and murdered by Joe Biden's unvetted illegal immigrants or the national security threat created by the nearly 11 million Joe Biden unvetted illegal immigrants from over 180 countries,
many from countries with terror ties, many from our top geopolitical foes, Iran, Syria, Yemen, Venezuela, China, Russia, nearly 60,000 communist Chinese nationals in this country since the start of this year.
I'm sorry, in the last year and a half.
And many are buying thousands and thousands of acres of farmland, ranch land, land near military installations.
Why is that?
They want a better life for themselves, or has Joe Biden invited the next 9-11 and terror cells into this country?
I think it's probably the latter.
And at some point, when do you point out that Joe has blood on his hands?
All these people whose names that we mention, you know, Lake and Riley, not Lincoln, Joe, Laken, the mother of five, Rachel Morin, five children, you know, murdered by a Joe Biden unvetted illegal immigrant.
Or Jocelyn Nungre, that was the 13-year-old murdered in Texas.
And what about the girl that was raped and her father spoke?
I'll play it later in the program in Central Park.
They're not going to want to talk about immigration and Joe's failure at the border.
I signal Donald Trump wouldn't support the bipartisan bill, that idiotic bipartisan bill.
Are you kidding me?
That wouldn't even go into effect until 5,000 illegals entered on a single day and only at the discretion of Joe Biden and Alejandro Mayorkas.
That's not an immigration border security bill.
Are they going to talk about Joe Biden's economy?
Nearly one in four Americans now have issues with food security in this country and have had to forego meals or two-thirds of the country claiming they're gasping for air when it comes to the economy, or the fact that inflation is up overall since Biden's been president over 20% from what he inherited.
Are they going to talk about Joe's plan for capital gains increased from 20 to 44 percent?
All investment in America is going to stop if Joe Biden is that stupid.
Are they going to talk about gas prices under Joe Biden or the radical left's defund dismantle no-bail laws?
Are they going to talk about war in Europe and war in the Middle East and Joe Biden's total ineffectiveness in dealing with China and Russia?
I mean, are those going to be topics?
Why does China get away with a spy balloon?
Why do they get away with COVID?
Why do they get away with hostile maneuvers against our fighter jets and international airspace and against our Navy and international waterways?
Why is it that there's no consequences for unfair trade practices, intellectual property theft?
You know, why did he give Vladimir Putin a waiver for Nord Stream 2?
Why is he fighting a proxy war through Ukraine?
Why hasn't he found a peaceful solution for Ukraine?
Why has he turned his back and surrendered in the war on terror with Hamas?
What does he want America's role in the world to be?
These are not questions that'll flow off Joe's brain fairly easily.
You know, this really is a battle over Joe Biden is now, you know, Joe Biden's hanging out at Radio City Music Hall, and Donald Trump's at a funeral for a cop that was murdered.
Or Joe Biden's hanging out with George Clooney and his idiotic position on going after Prime Minister Netanyahu as a war criminal after the murder and the rape and the kidnapping and the beheadings.
What part of that is ignorant George Clooney and his wife missing and so many other leftists in this country.
And, you know, and it's versus where's Donald Trump?
Donald Trump's in Detroit at the time.
Joe is at a glitzy Hollywood elitist big fundraiser.
It's Main Street that is in play here.
This election is so reminiscent of 2016.
It's about forgotten men and forgotten women.
You know, Donald Trump is saying if you work hard and you get your salary through tips, you ought to be able to have your tips untaxed.
Donald Trump is saying with a world as dangerous as China and Russia having hypersonic weapons, that we need the best iron dome ever created for the safety and security of our country, all made in America.
I want to hear those topics discussed.
I want to hear how Donald Trump will bring back law and order and safety and security and defund, dismantled, no-bail law madness and turn our schools into the envy of the world considering how much money we spent.
I mean, it's basically a party of coastal elites versus a party of working men and women.
You know, Donald Trump will have to be prepared to deal with fake Jake and fake Dana Bash.
I have every confidence he's going to be able to handle that.
I'm not worried about that at all.
You know, we know he's going to have to answer the obvious questions.
They're going to want to spend half the debate on who won the 2020 election.
You know, okay, you encouraged insurrection.
Forget about many of you will peacefully, patriotically march to the Capitol so your voices will be heard, or the fact that Donald Trump, in front of five people I interviewed, said that, yeah, he wanted to call up the National Guard.
Doesn't sound like a guy that's planning on insurrection.
You know, you're planning retribution and revenge against your political enemies.
No, he's not.
He said this lawfare has to end.
He said that in the last interview with me.
You said once that you want to be a dictator for a day.
He said that in an interview with me.
And then he further went on to say, I just want to make America on day one energy dominant and get our borders secure immediately.
That's what he meant by dictator for a day.
That's how humorless they are.
Rachel Maddow claiming she's going to be put in a camp AOC in jail.
Joyless Behar, Nicole Wallace, Chrissy Teigen.
Somebody else joined this weekend.
Somebody at fake news CNN.
Oh, media critics are going to be at risk of being thrown in jail.
No, they're not.
They're not going to be at risk of being thrown in jail.
They just make this atom shift up so that they can scare people into not voting for him.
You know, I think the president's pretty well versed on Israel.
In his last interview, he said to me, Israel should win their war and win it quickly.
Joe Biden has surrendered in the war against radical Islamic terrorists.
I think that Russia was on the verge of bankruptcy, and now they have nuclear submarines with hypersonic missile capability off our coasts.
This is insane.
President Xi acts with impunity.
Spy balloons, COVID, hostile maneuvers against fighter jets in our Navy, intellectual property theft.
Nothing happens.
America's got to remain the world's dominant superpower.
We've got to end the woke military that Joe has put in place.
It's a danger to the free world in so many different ways.
You know, the appeasement policies and the ass-kissing of Iran has to stop.
Somebody's got to get control of our borders.
This is madness.
It's absolute madness.
Are you going to pardon yourself?
I think Donald Trump does not need to pardon himself.
I think Donald Trump, you know, with all of the lawfare that has gone on and weaponization and all of the ridiculous charges in that sham case, both the civil case and the criminal case in New York, I think he's going to win those issues on appeal.
I think Donald Trump should lean in hard.
You see African Americans, Hispanic Americans, young people moving towards him.
I think we should talk about election integrity.
I hope that comes up, but, you know, fake news, CNN.
Democrats have been lying and scaring old people, Metascare and Social Security.
He's going to take away this.
No, he's not.
And it's beginning to show up in the polls.
I don't know if you saw this, but the latest Rasmussen survey released Friday, 46% of likely voters are backing Donald Trump.
Only 36 support Joe Biden in a five-way race.
I mean, that is a 10-point lead for Donald Trump.
I mean, that is amazing.
That's on the heels of the Emerson poll that came out last week, and that showed Trump winning in every swing state and tied in Minnesota.
I mean, that's a pretty unbelievable number for Donald Trump.
And you could see this.
You know, does Joe Biden really need to be secluded for nine days so that they can, you know, change his waking hours and get him up to speed?
By the way, even Snopes, a left-leaning, quote, fact-check group, even they said that Trump never called neo-Nazis very fine people during that Charlottesville press conference.
They're going to lie about all of this.
Charlemagne, the God, predicts the debate will be bad for Biden.
We'll see.
One thing that Bill Maher said, which was interesting, is that all of his pandering isn't working.
You know, they reveal a central tactic to get a Trump.
Oh, call him a convict.
I have the best answer in the world that I'm not going to share with anybody.
Linda, is that mean of me not to do that?
Because you know they listen to this show.
I think it's a healthy dose of reality that you sadly have to be the one to administer.
Andrew Cuomo even said that Biden's lawfare campaign against Trump is a threat to democracy.
Wow.
I think because he had his, by the way, he did not get taken out by Republicans.
He got taken out by Democrats in New York.
The Republicans had no power in New York.
It was Democrats that wanted him out of power.
They're the ones that got him out.
It wasn't Republicans.
And maybe because of that, maybe his eyes have opened up quite a bit.
If they didn't, I don't know what will do that.
You know, Trump's going to Detroit.
He was in Philly over the weekend, 11th, a $500 tip at a cheesesteak sandwich shop in Philly at Tony and Nick's Cheesesteaks ahead of a rally at Temple University.
I'm going to give you guys $500.
You split it up.
Like, let's go.
They were happy.
And that's what he did at Chick-fil-A.
And it doesn't matter where he goes.
People love him.
He's going into areas that Republicans, frankly, should be going into every year.
There is a backlash that has emerged over a Biden official that they are appointing while Biden is at Cam David.
This guy, Tyler Cherry, you know, a guy that, by the way, had social media posts attacking police, attacking ICE, supporting the anti-Israel movement, promoting RussiaGate.
Yeah, now they want to put this radical, you know, he compared police to slave patrols, wanted to abolish ICE, but now he's apologizing.
So I guess all is swell.
It's not going to be a problem.
You want smart political talk without the meltdowns?
We got you.
I'm Carol Markowitz.
And I'm Mary Catherine Hamm.
