Uh jury selection beginning this morning in the criminal trial of Hunter Biden facing three felony charges related to lying on the federal gun form in 2018.
We'll get into great specificity and detail on that.
Uh we had Dr. Fauci returning to Capitol Hill, some fireworks today for his public uh testimony, his first public testimony since retiring from public service.
I I mean, it just the things he's been saying are just like uh okay, so detached from reality.
It's it's it's beyond comprehension.
You know, d defending accusations he tried to change scientists' minds by bribing them with grant money.
Well, the the thing that we didn't know more than anything else is the NIH in a flurry of emails was very, very clear.
There were three packets of them that we got over time.
Rand Paul actually chronicled this in his best selling book, and it shows that when COVID hit, that every and we they understood it would came from the Wuhan lab, and that that your tax dollars funneled from the NIH to the Eco Health Alliance went to the Wuhan Virology Lab.
Why why would one cent of American tax money be going to a lab in Wuhan, China, where they knew gain of function research took place, then they knew coronavirus research took place.
So it's insanity.
You know, and and he said that he knew nothing about the actions regarding eco-health.
That's absolutely false.
They knew everything about this.
And they were frantic that in fact they knew very early on the possibility that you and your money likely went to fund all of this.
And, you know, I've never conducted official email, business email, or my personal email testifying that after COVID investigations began, etc., etc.
It's just all this is how can you ever trust your government again because of what we were told.
There is a ton of fallout as it relates to President Trump and the conviction last Thursday, not the least of which is this a tsunami of donations is now bringing Trump, according to the Daily Mail today, his conviction fundraising total since last Thursday to 200 million dollars.
I mean, just in the last number of days.
And anyway, and it was comprised over 70 million in small donor fundraising in in three days right after the the guilty verdict.
People see this for what it is.
Now, I don't know how far this is going to go, but following Trump's conviction, uh conservative Republicans on Capitol Hill, they're threatening to stall the vast majority of legislation scheduled to come before Congress in the coming months, including all judicial and political nominees and appropriations bills.
I I don't think that stands based on the current configuration, which then calls attention to where we are in terms of the election process.
They just don't have the majority to be effective.
And that's just a sad reality.
I guess we'll have a two-seat majority now.
I guess they filled the seat of of Kevin McCarthy, and maybe they'll get as high as three seats.
You got a problem for one of the Texas Democrats in big trouble now.
And what you've got here is so many avenues of appeal that Donald Trump's legal team needs to pursue every one of them.
And that, you know, start from the very beginning.
You know, start with Bob Costello testifying that he that he spent an hour and a half on a Zoom call pointing out to Alvin Bragg's team Before they ever brought or convened the grand jury in this case and outlined all the exculpatory evidence that would have obligated Bragg and his team to bring it before the grand jury, and they didn't do so.
Start there.
Start with a judge that is conflicted in this case and of his family conflicts, and he he should have recused himself in this particular case.
Then you can start with the novel legal theory that somehow would turn a misdemeanor whose statute of limitations have long since passed, and again, keeping in perspective that this case was about a bookkeeping error mistake on a hundred and thirty thousand dollar nondisclosure agreement payment made over eight years ago that the star witness in this case,
Michael Cohn claimed that he told many people that he did all of this on his own with any knowledge well without any knowledge of Donald Trump.
Not that it would be illegal.
It's just it was and it was booked as a legal expense.
I mean, it's pretty unbelievable.
Never mind the fact that the judge accepted this novel theory, allowing something that should never be tried in a local venue, and that's federal election law.
Never mind the violation of the Sixth Amendment, seventh amendment of the president and both of them, and on the issue of informing somebody what they are being charged with, that never happened.
Let alone the latitude that the judge in this case gave the prosecution in terms of just affirmatively saying things that were false, especially in closing arguments after the judge was throwing lifeline after lifeline to the prosecution after the gutting of Michael Cohn on the stand.
Never mind never mind the illegal gag order in this case.
Never mind the novel, you know, jury instructions.
Well, you can all think he's guilty, but you can have different reasons for thinking he's guilty and vote for one of three reasons, and if it breaks down four guilty for reason A, four guilty for reason B, four guilty for reason C, it works.
These are all avenues of appeal that I'm sure that President Trump and his team will will start the process of taking to the courts, and and and then we've got a July fifteenth date for the Republican convention, and the judge wants the sentencing to be on July 11th.
Oh, okay, well, let's take Donald Trump out of the game for his own convention.
Uh, let's put him in jail for 30 days or sixty days, or we're gonna take him off the campaign trail for the entire campaign.
A first time offender, class C felony, seriously?
I with Judge Mershawn, I think anything can happen.
That's a scary that that's the scary part of a weaponized system of justice.
That is a really scary part of lawfare.
This is the dual justice system.
Nobody in the media is concerned about it.
They don't care that the judge's instructions violated not one but two Supreme Court rulings, the latest of which was Ramos versus Louisiana in 2020.
Again, all avenues of appeal.
By the way, the president himself is urging the Supreme Court to intervene.
Uh, and he said that the sentencor not having done anything wrong will be conveniently, you know, uh, you know, happening just before the Republican National Convention.
He writes a radical left Soros back DA who ran on a platform, I will get Trump reporting to an acting local judge appointed by Democrats, and again, the lottery system was bypassed in this case, highly conflicted, will make a decision which will determine the future of our nation.
The United States Supreme Court must decide.
I agree with him.
And they've got to make that case.
And even he's a constitutional lawyer, Mike Johnson, Speaker of the House.
He made similar comments on Fox and Friends, calling the trial unprecedented and dangerous for our system.
I do believe the Supreme Court should step in.
Obviously, this is totally unprecedented.
It's dangerous for our system.
This is diminishing the American people's faith in our system of justice itself, and to maintain a republic, you have to have that as a foundation.
People have to believe that justice is fair and that there's equal justice under the law.
Is nobody I met this weekend, even people that didn't like Trump, that doesn't see this for what it is.
It's amazing.
Because it's not that complicated.
An eight-year-old case, 130,000 legal NDA that they upgrade to some federal election crime, but they wouldn't even allow an election expert, former FEC chair Bradley Smith to testify fully in the case.
So what was the point of bringing them?
Well, that's the that is the judge, Juan Mershaw putting the cinder blocks on the scale of justice.
They don't see right now, and I think the justices on the court, I think they're deeply concerned about that as well.
How could you not be?
For the Supreme Court not to take this is a huge error.
They because this there's only going to be more of this.
It's going to have to be dealt with.
And it's been by the way, I don't want Republicans to go down this road because I believe in our constitutional republic.
I don't believe in the weaponization of our legal system.
I don't believe in a dual justice system.
How much more of this are we going to have to deal with?
You know, I see Mr. Higher Honor, James Comey saying, Oh, he will, yeah, we could accommodate him in jail, etc., etc., although he said he doubts that's going to be the result.
Nothing that Juan Mershaw decides is going to surprise me.
And I'm thinking this guy signed three Pfizer warrants after being warned not to sign them.
And if you want to talk about an FEC violation, there was a real one with a real fine, and that was Hillary Clinton, but it wasn't upgraded into, you know, uh federal charges at the local or at the federal level, where she funneled money to a law firm,
Perkins Cooy, that hired an op research firm that hired a guy by the name of Christopher Steele that put together a dirty Russian disinformation dossier that was completely later debunked and untrue, although everybody was warned that it was a political document paid for by Hillary, and yet it became the basis for not one but four separate Pfizer warrant applications, three of which were signed by James Comey.
There's no penalties there.
You know, look at the look at the dual justice system when it comes to the document case.
I mean, the idea that the Justice Department is going to send in, even though they had free, unfettered access to Mar-a-Lago earlier, and they would have had it again had they only asked, and they were in the room where the so-called documents were and left them there.
If they thought or if they thought there was illegal information there, they should have taken it with them.
But instead, they just call back days later and ask for a padlock to be put on the door of this particular room at Mar-a-Lago.
And that was complied with.
You know, Joe Biden can have four separate locations, multiple locations within the locations of top secret classified documents going back to his Senate years.
Nothing happens to him.
Hillary Clinton has her case, top secret classified documents on her servers.
Then you have 30,000 subpoenaed emails that were deleted with bleach bit, acid wash basically off the server so you can't retrieve them.
And people that had devices that might have had copies of them.
Well, those were those devices were destroyed with hammers.
The SIM cards removed.
And then the famous July 2016 press conference, James Comey, no reasonable prosecutor would prosecute this.
No rate of Hillary Clinton's home, no rate of her offices, no rate of the four locations Joe Biden had top secret classified information.
At what point do you even as a Democrat not look at this and say, yeah, uh, that's not that's not equal justice equal application of our laws, and have a problem with this.
Now, I stand by my belief that regardless of what Judge Mershaw does.
Now, the judge for a first defender who's going to be appealing the case, obviously, would be releasing somebody on his own on their own recognizance and pending appeal.
That would be the usual procedure, especially in New York.
You can be on tape beating the living hell out of police officers in Times Square, New York, and you're not going to spend a minute in jail because they're going to release you instantaneously, and then you're going to end up with a slap on the wrist.
But yet, if you're Donald Trump, okay, what are they going to do?
Put an ankle bracelet on him and say he can't leave Bedminster, can't leave Trump Tower, can't leave Mar-a-Lago, can't campaign, can't go to his own convention, can't go to debates.
Is that now, is that is that what their goal is?
that would surprise me when it comes to them.
Nothing.
I mean, these are just very dangerous times.
And this is not how our justice system would work.
This case would never have been brought against anybody that didn't have the last name Trump.
But you have all of these avenues of appeal.
And, you know, for those who say, well, the Supreme Court won't do this, this, or this.
And, you know, I think the odds of getting an expedited appeal hearing.
There's so many avenues of appeal.
You you've got to get in there and start fighting for it now.
Because the right and just thing to do would be to have a proper have a go through the proper appeals process before the election.
But I tend to doubt that's going to happen just based on the way things have happened up to this point.
And that's sad.
By the way, the witness list is so brutal for Hunter Biden.
But don't worry, it's in Delaware.
Who knows?
I don't think there's going to be a Juan Mershawn equivalent in Delaware.
And by the way, let me be fair.
There shouldn't be.

The judge in the Hunter Biden case has no intention of cutting Hunter any breaks, at least in the beginning.
The federal judge in this case, overseeing this gun trial, dealt the defense two major setbacks on the eve of jury selection, blocking one of his expert witnesses, excluding a key piece of evidence that the president's son had hoped to use and granted a request in the special counsel, David Weiss, to block one of Hunter Biden's expert witnesses from testifying.
Now the defense had lined up a Columbia University psychiatrist who would have tried to poke holes in the prosecution assertions that Hunter Biden knew he was an addict in 2018 when he bought the gun that led to his indictment.
I just don't have any faith in Mr. Weiss and his ability to really prosecute this case because we know his original intention was not to charge Hunter at all.
And then when they got wind of that, then they came up with the sweetheart deal.
And then, but for a judge in Delaware that said, have you ever we ever seen a case like this before?
No, we have not.
And they you know that was the no jail deal.
And then he becomes, oh, well, let's appoint this guy who looked into it for four years and did nothing.
Make him the special counsel, and he'll be prosecuting the case.
I have no faith in the justice system here either.
Scary.
Listen to this show one time.
and you're hannitized sean hannity is back on the radio hi 25 to the top of the hour 800-941-SEAN our number if you want to be a part of the program uh One of the most incredible uh smart missions uh that I've ever seen is the mission of preborn.com slash Sean S-E-A-N, and that is uh the free 4D ultrasounds that they give any expecting mom introducing them to the miracle of birth within them.
And what they're finding is through science they change hearts and and by doing so, maybe people inclined to think about abortion now or giving birth.
Linda, they've done incredible work.
You know, they really have.
And like I tell everybody all the time, you know, if you're looking to do something valuable with your life, you could do 28 bucks a day and save a little baby, a baby that nobody else is going to save because all of our tax dollars are going, whether we like it or not to plan parenthood.
And while the world's going to hell in a handbasket, you could actually do something to save a life and show an expecting mom that there is another way.
And that's what I tell everybody.
There's no greater joy than being a mom.
So please do it today.
It's 28 bucks.
If that's what you can give, great.
You can give more, even better.
And it's all tax deductible.
And by the way, if you have the means, maybe you can consider a leadership gift to, you know, save uh this uh help this cause in a big way.
Tax-deductible donations of five grand or more will sponsor preborn's entire network for 24 hours helping to rescue a lot of babies.
This technology introduction really works.
Anyway, dial pound two fifty keyword baby.
That's pound two fifty keyword baby, or online, it's preborn.com slash Sean S E A N, preborn.com slash Sean.
Uh anyway, so the latest is has they got what, thirty-six uh people, I guess prospective jurors as they headed into the lunch break earlier today of the initial two hundred and fifty prospects, twenty-five have moved on to the jury pool, fifteen have been dismissed.
And anyway, they're moving pretty fast, and this is in the Hunter Biden case.
No juror is seated as of now.
Um, but you know, we'll have to we'll have to see.
Apparently, uh Ashley Biden has been very expressive, nodding while potential jurors would answer questions, smile when juror of five said that she and her husband work for the Secret Service.
Uh Ashley Biden, Jill Biden, Melissa Cohn Biden sitting in the front row.
I mean, it's a pretty simple slam dunk case, and that is that he lied on the form as it relates to purchasing a gun.
Now, he does have one thing that's a big advantage.
He has a very good lawyer.
That lawyer's name is Abby Lowell.
Abby Lowell's the real deal lawyer.
So you gotta you gotta watch.
But the witness list is going to be pretty brutal, and you know, this goes into the heart of, you know, why did Joe Biden on the eve of this trial go see Hunter's girlfriend at the time, as former son, his son who passed away, Bo Biden, uh, in the days leading up to the trial.
Now they say it was based on the anniversary of the death of his son Bo, who was the wife of Haley Biden, who later became the girlfriend of Hunter Biden.
Anyway, so who knows?
Um now beginning.
I just heard that uh Hunter Biden's uh remember he had this this daughter with this woman in Mac um uh Arkansas, but now we have another issue aside from the gun and criminal trial that's gonna go on now.
You have a a tax, the California tax trial expected in September.
It does look like that Hunter Biden claims to be so proud of.
And anyway, Hunter Biden apparently, according to his the New York Post, owes his ex-wife 2.9 million after a protracted legal battle, and now his one-time spouse is expected to be a key witness in these looming trials.
Kathleen Bull was first married uh to Hunter.
They split in 2017, claims Hunter had blown off agreed upon alimony payments, legal fees, interest, other debts to her over the years.
She sued Hunter in 2019, and the dispute with her has been simmering in Washington, D.C. courts for years, and then Hunter was found to be in violation of his divorce settlement.
Now the mother of three of Hunter's five kids is set to take the stage at uh this trial on illegal gun possession.
The separation agreement stipulated Hunter would pay her thirty thirty-seven thousand dollars a month and fifty percent of any earnings over eight hundred and seventy-five thousand dollars annually, according to court documents.
Uh anyway, however, the other side of against Hunter maintains that Hunter did not pony up what he earned and what he owed in 2017 and 18.
And the situational result of Hunter's well documented uh spiral into drug addiction.
I think drug addiction is horrible, but it doesn't give you an excuse to lie on a on a On a gun application.
It just doesn't.
You know, a bit of, you know, here's something that most of the public may not know.
One of the ironies of this entire trial that is taking place is the origin of this handgun permitting protocol that Hunter Biden now admits to violating.
It was part of a wave of crime prevention legislation that was actually championed by his own father as chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee 30 years ago.
It was first proposed in Congress in 1987, the Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act.
That was enacted in November of 1993 as an amendment to the original Federal Gun Control Act of 68.
And one of the key Senate sponsors was Joe Biden.
And the Brady bill prescribed a waiting period of five days before a handgun could be sold to an unlicensed individual in states lacking their own existing system of conducting background checks and fighting for Brady, Biden declared, quote, you wait five days to pick up your car when you buy, you wait a day and a half to get your suit altered.
If you buy a new suit, uh what can be so urgent that you have to walk in and you need your gun today?
Well, there actually are situations where people were threatened and they may feel that their life is hanging in the balance.
That would be one case.
As this case began, Joe Biden issued a statement, I guess, over the weekend from his Wilmington Beach House expressing support for Hunter, but declining to comment on the federal charges that he's facing.
I'm the president, but I'm also a dad.
Jill and I love our son.
I can't blame him for saying any of this or be critical of it.
But you know, the one thing that's going to be interesting is remember, go back in the New York Post.
If you want a preview of some of the testimony you're likely to hear here is that Hunter Biden flipped out on his then sister-in-law turned girlfriend, Haley Biden.
She had first been married to his brother, then became his girlfriend because she's the one that ditched the handgun in a trash can in 2018, accusing her of making him look like an abusive pedophile with homicidal uh tendencies and asking her, Do you want me dead?
Anyway, during an hours long text conversation, this goes back to 2018.
Hunter then tore into his girlfriend for tossing the 38 caliber revolver into a garbage bin outside a grocery store in Wilmington, Delaware, saying, you know, I won't ever recover from this.
There are five guns in dad's house.
You know, they're effing more weapons in your son's room than in an armory.
You know, what's my F up?
Owning a gun?
Now he owned the handgun issued by the state, and it was in the front glove compartment of his car.
He wrote more than two hours earlier.
Then, you know, used some words that obviously nobody should use, but then in response to Haley's claim that she was afraid her boyfriend would use the gun, he fired back to do what?
You know, they think you're scared I would shoot you, he went on before calling her and effing blankety blankety blank.
You now have me on abusive pedophile with homicidal tendencies, and now it's in the hands of the FBI.
You know, it's the whole thing is just a sordid mess, the whole thing.
I just don't have faith in the justice system anymore.
I really don't.
This case, the fix was it.
This guy Weiss was prosecuting the case, I don't have confidence in.
Because his initial instinct after years of investigating this was to do nothing.
And it was all going to just be washed away.
Then all of a sudden, uh they kind of got caught, you know, sweeping it under the rug.
So they came up with a very creative and beneficial plea deal that would result in no jail time.
The only problem is it went before a Delaware judge, and the judge actually read the agreement, and it was like very deep into the agreement where they put in this special provision on the issue of the handgun charge, and then the judge said, uh literally asked the defense, have you ever in your life seen any type of plea agreement like this ever before?
And the answer came back, no.
Well, why would this judge go along with something that was unprecedented like that?
Well, the judge to the judge's credit did not.
And then, Even though this guy Weiss had investigated this for going on what, four plus years, well then they appoint him the special prosecutor.
This is the guy that didn't want to charge him in the first place.
This is the guy that was willing to go along with the sweetheart deal.
You just can't make up how the system works, you know, if you're a Democrat versus a Republican.
I mean, the fact that this is back to back after the Trump verdict is laughable.
Because none of this would happen in the Trump case.
I mean, this happens based on the law to be a slam dung case.
You know, um, but we'll see what happens.
I mean, I don't take any joy in seeing people with any addiction problems in trouble.
I just don't.
However, there is something called equal justice in application of our laws, and there are people that have gone to jail five years for this very same crime.
By the way, not good, not good news on the economic front.
OPEC now is going to keep oil production cuts in place till the end of 2025.
Saudi Arabia has ambitions to diversify their economy.
They want to maximize their profits as long as they can.
And by the way, that's exactly what they're going to do.
And on the issue of illegal immigration, you know, things have gotten extraordinarily bad for the country and extraordinarily dangerous for you and every American that you know.
And none of it's any good.
I mean, it's this this is becoming a very dangerous time in this country.
And in large part because Joe Biden, I don't think knows what day of the week it is, and he's the president of the United States.
But anyway, there was a story in the New York Post today.
I couldn't believe it when I read it.
You know, it's, you know, by the headline is Biden's insane asylum.
And while Biden administration is attempting to look like it's getting tough on the border.
Now a year ago, this guy was saying, or in January, he was saying, I'm there's nothing I can do.
It's up to Congress.
Nothing I can do.
Well, actually, there was something he can do.
They were bragging for years how the border was closed and secure.
Well, anyway, data's now showing since 2022, more than 350,000 asylum cases filed by illegal immigrants have been closed by the U.S. government if the applicants don't have a criminal record or otherwise don't are not deemed a threat to the country.
So in other words, they're offering mass amnesty in the hundreds of thousands.
Soon it will be the millions, and it's going to end up rewarding all of this bad behavior.
Basically aided and abetted by Joe Biden.
And for all of Biden's talk about trying to address the border crisis, we keep discovering all the new ways that he's encouraging this to happen, including the 350,000 asylum cases closed beyond our knowledge in just the last two years.
You have Don Barnett, Center for Immigration Studies, finding that Biden created at least eight different programs that allow 3.3 million illegal immigrants.
Most of the illegal immigrants into this country, you know, uh to get work permits.
I mean, basically it's it's they they're giving amnesty as quickly as they can.
And all they'll say is Donald Trump wants to send illegal immigrants home.
Well, if you want to come into the country, do it legally.
I don't think it's too much for people to ask.
Two New York City police officers shot over the weekend by a Biden illegal immigrant.
Anybody gonna pay attention to that, or are you just still focused on the Trump trial out of New York?
And we have a mass amnesty offer to illegal immigrants.
It's unreal.
You have the Soros backed DA's office in Philadelphia, gave free consultations to illegal immigrants charged with violent crimes.
I mean, don't you think we ought to secure our border?
Never mind that they're coming from countries like Iran and Syria, China, Russia, Egypt, Afghanistan, Yemen, Kazakhstan.
At what point do we say this is a clear and present danger to our national security?
Cops get shot, and America doesn't even flinch.
Pretty unreal.
Well, we're gonna see how this all plays out.
I just I I I just in my heart of hearts, I'm just not worried.
And I can't tell you why.
I don't do I have confidence.
I I wouldn't say confidence is the right word.
A lot of people I met over the weekend, they're scared to death.
A lot of people are very frightened.
A lot of people are very angry.
A lot of people keep asking me what they can do.
And I keep going back to what I told you last week.
There really is one final verdict.
And you're the jury, and you get to vote, you get a say.
And that's where the issue of this upcoming election in 154 days matters, but it's not just 154 days, it's sooner than that.
Because early voting starts before that.
And if you need to know about registration, about early voting and voting by mail, and you know, participating as trained legal observers.
You know, you can go to Hannity.com.
We put up an interactive map.
For your benefit.
It's pretty amazing that Donald Trump brought in so far 200 million dollars post conviction to his campaign.
Why?
Because I think Americans are afraid.
I think they now see lawfair as very real.
And this is all the Democrats have.
This is it.
Yeah, George Stephanopoulos literally cutting off a Trump lawyer after he suggested Biden was in cahoots with the DA Bragg.
I saw our friend Joe Tacopino, who I like a lot, said, no, there was no.
I didn't see any involvement.
I kind of wrote him last night.
I'm like, can you then explain why the third highest ranking Biden Justice Department official?
Why was that official brought in for this case?
Because otherwise, it doesn't make any sense that you'd leave that prestigious position for anything.
We'll play it later.
Donald Trump enthusiastically got real praise.
I think it was at the Prudential Center.
UFC 302 uh main event, and he went to the fight.
But you know, we'll we'll see what happens.
He's a very unpredictable times.
Now we did have uh what's his name?
Uh Anthony Fauci on go up before Congress today.
We're gonna hit that uh hard on the other side today, on the other side of this break.
We also have New Kingrich coming up.
We'll get his take on the verdict last week, the impact it'll have on the election, and much more.
800 941 Sean is a number if you want to be a part of the program.
Look, since the October 7th attacks, anti-Semitism's been on the rise, not just in Israel, but at home in the U.S. around the world, not just on college campuses, it's a ritz rampant.

And this is a pledge asking all Christians to stand with their Jewish brothers and sisters and never be silent and show the Jewish people that they're not alone and they have every right to win their war on radical Islamic terrorism.
Anyway, they have God and Christians on their side and people supporting what is right versus what's wrong.
It's that simple.
Anyway, if you'd like to sign the pledge, which will be delivered to the president of Israel to show that Christians in America not only stand in solidarity, but they're willing to speak up.
You could just sign the pledge, go to support if org, support IFCJ.org, take a stand with them today.
And standing against radical Islamic terrorism is simply not only in Israel's best interest, but the world's best interest and our best interest.
