Stay in Mexico Policy - February 29th, Hour 1

Immigration court dockets are 7 or 8 years long.  With these long wait times, we need to ensure that we have a responsible immigration policy that has people staying in Mexico until they're legally cleared to enter the country. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

This is an iHeart Podcast.
Well we're coming to your city Gonna play our guitars and sing you a country sound We'll all be entirely.
And if you want a little bang in your yin-yang, come along.
The legal pleadings filed by uh David Weiss now give a very strong whiff of a Russian intelligence operation.
That first hour of this much anticipated testimony was the nail in the coffin to what is a complete bogus and sham impeachment inquiry.
This is uh a hemispheric shift northward.
It's a crisis on multiple levels in multiple places.
Only two hundred and forty-nine days left till the presidential election.
Yeah, we're coming to your city Gonna play our guitars and sing you a country song From coast to coast.
From border to border.
From sea to shining sea.
Sean Hannity is on.
All right, thank you, Scott Shannon, and welcome aboard.
Glad you're our you are with us 800-941 Sean on number.
Even though we are literally on the border, uh, we are headed towards Shelby Park, which is, you know, Eagle Pass, where so much of the illegal immigrant activity has been taking place.
Interestingly, the the big story is, and I have a lot on immigration we're gonna get to today, is that that once they put up the wires and once they put up the barriers and the barricades, and once they put up the containers, guess what?
Everybody now is moving in the other direction.
They're now moving to Arizona, they're now moving to California.
We'll get to all of that today.
Um we got so much news, we got Joe Biden, his testimony later on, uh Jim Comer and Jim Jordan and um you know the heads of the committees that were actually in the room, Jason Smith, are gonna check in with us as well.
Uh and then tonight we will be on the border with President Trump, Nine Eastern Hannity on Fox.
Hope you'll watch it, set your DVR.
You know, the more I think about this though, I I will tell you, every American needs to be outraged over the fact that why didn't the Biden administration even tell us that Joey was going over to Walter Reed for his annual physical?
And how is it possible in light of all of the questions that even the mob and the media now are bringing up?
They finally have caught up to us four years, albeit late, but they're catching up to us in terms of his cognitive struggles.
Uh why did Joe take a cognitive test during his annual physical?
Uh why?
Because he doesn't need it.
The White House claims despite you know the DOJ report saying he had diminished uh faculties.
That's the Robert Herr report.
We're not we're not even gonna look into whether or not Joe Biden has cognitive issues.
Oh, he's he takes a cognitive test every day, Karine Jean-Pierre said.
Kind of like when she said, Joe Biden gets more done in an hour than most Americans get done in an in a day.
Now I don't care what you do for a living.
I don't care what it is, if you work at McDonald's for a living, if you work at Walmart for a living, if you're a nurse, if you're a doctor, if you're a talk show host, it doesn't matter.
I don't know anybody that works less than this guy and accomplishes less than this guy on the face of the earth.
I but we've never had a president that spends 40% of his time away from the White House on vacation, and we get images of him struggling to even pull along his beach chair when he's sitting on the beach down in Delaware.
I mean, you just can't make this up.
You know, and of course, with the the questions about his mental ill mental cognitive strength.
Well, okay, when Robert Hur, the special counsel actually put out there he couldn't remember within a number of years when his son died.
He couldn't remember the years that he was vice president.
They brought up the year 2009, and his his answer was Was I uh was I still vice president at that time?
That was the year you started as Vice President Joe.
Um, if somebody is that cognitively impaired that wants to be the president of the United States, well, maybe that's a question we kind of need an answer to.
At least that would be one of the top questions in my mind.
Anyway, but no, of course, the mob, the media, they won't even really talk about it.
Um, but you know, w do would you expect anything other than that at this late date and this this late time?
Um now we're down here at the border for a good reason, and I'll tell you why.
It is by far the number one national security threat that our country is facing.
And we face a lot of threats.
We have a lot of geopolitical foes.
I don't trust China, I don't trust President Xi, I don't trust Russia for sure.
I mean, you you're dealing with murdering dictator thugs uh with all the territorial ambitions on top of it.
We see that unfolding in Ukraine.
Uh we see the saber rattling and and the communist Chinese flying their their fighter jets all over Taiwan airspace.
They've even gotten as bold as to confront U.S. Navy jet uh U.S. jet Air Force jets in international airways, and they've confronted our Navy in international waterways, and of course, there's never any consequences with Joe.
They can fly a uh spy balloon over the entire continental U.S. and not a not a problem.
Uh we know it's there, but we're not going to tell the American people, and then when we get caught, we're gonna say, oh, we had no idea it was there.
Uh, and then they got caught lying on that too.
You know, they tell a lot of lies.
Joe gets more done in an hour than most people do it a day.
Well, anybody that actually works for a living should be offended by that.
Just take a look at this guy's schedule on any given day.
We're lucky if there's like one or two events, two events is a big day for Joe.
Half the time there's nothing on his calendar because he's doing nothing.
And that's the problem.
And you ask, well, who's in charge?
I don't have the answer.
I don't know who's in charge.
So um, and then of course, the big lie, which we'll we will talk at length about with President Trump today, to uh when we go to the border, um, and that is that the border's secure, the border's secure, the borders closed, the borders closed, the borders closed.
And now all of a sudden, because it's an election year, uh maybe the biggest election year conversion ever, I've I've done everything that I possibly could do.
I've tried so hard, and they won't help me fix the border.
You don't need their help to fix the border.
And when confronted with that question, they can't give an answer that makes any sense at all.
They don't need Congress's help.
I had Mike Johnson, the Speaker of the House on Hannity last night, and he said when he was in this meeting where apparently got he got ganged up on by Biden and Kamala Harris and Chucky Schumer and even Mitch McConnell joining in that you know, he said you don't need our help to secure the border.
All you can you just need to do what you did in the first hundred days, take out your pen, and with a stroke of a pen, you can bring back the Trump policies that were successful, like the State of Mexico policy, for example.
That was a good one.
But uh anyway, this this is what they've been saying.
This is where they are now, and they are now trying to pivot and blame Republicans for the nearly 10 million unvetted, illegal Joe Biden immigrants on our border.
Now we've been telling you where they're coming from.
I mean, we what how how would we allow a single person from the number one state sponsor of terror, Iran, into this country, let alone you know, close to 700?
Or, you know, why why the the hundreds coming from Afghanistan, the home of Al Qaeda, where it was reported earlier in the week that their training camps have reopened in Afghanistan?
Why why Egypt, the home of the Muslim Brotherhood, where about 3,400 that we know of have come from Egypt into the U.S. Any chance that maybe of them, maybe some of them are associated with the Muslim Brotherhood?
I don't know.
You know, Al Qaeda, uh any of these 6,000 from or however many from Afghanistan, or any of them, are they members of Al Qaeda?
Have we really forgotten?
Are we that distant now from 9 11 to not be aware of the threat, the danger that is that that is Joe Biden's open border?
And I haven't even gotten to our number one and number two geopolitical foes.
Now, the the border patrol admits that they've counted over 12,000 from Russia.
Why would you make a trip from Russia all the way down to Mexico to cross into the U.S.?
Why would you go that way?
Why?
Because it's wide open and the odds of you getting through are that much higher.
Last count that I saw in just recent years, over 37,000 Chinese nationals at our southern border.
Well, do you think they're coming here for a better life?
Well, why would they make the long journey from these countries?
Now, does it make sense?
Latin America, does it make sense if you're in Nicaragua, El Salvador, Guatemala, that you see America is the land of milk and honey and opportunity, and maybe you want to put yourself in a position to have a better life for yourself and your family?
Yeah, that makes a lot more sense.
However, even those people would need to be vetted.
And if you had to stay in Mexico policy, guess what?
And this is going to be a problem over time.
I know Donald Trump has said all these people have to be deported.
My question is, how are you going to find them?
They get court dates literally that are seven or eight years down the docket.
I mean, could you imagine that?
How insane is that?
How stupid a country can we be at times?
But we should be vetting people and see if they have radical associations in their background.
We should be vetting people in the right after COVID.
You think maybe we learned a thing or two about health and the need for health checks for anybody entering the country?
Uh, what about the need to ensure that they're not going to be a financial burden on you, we, the American people?
That would make perfect sense also.
Now, you had a Biden illegal had been arrested in Louisiana for arm robbery, assault, first degree rape, but guess what?
The illegal robber rapist entered through the U.S. through Eagles Pass, Texas, where we were doing the show that'll air tonight on Hannity.
And anyway, this illegal alien in Louisiana has kind of hit the Biden trifecta.
He launched a one-man crime spree that included arm robbery, assault, and first degree rape of an underage girl.
You know, maybe Joe, you know, maybe maybe maybe he'll come to the State of the Union address.
Uh I I tend to doubt it.
I mean, but at what point do we not point the fingers at the peoples whose policies are allowing these criminal aliens into our country, gang-related?
And I'm not even discussing, you know, one other aspect of this, and that is all the fentanyl that is killing so many American people, and all the opioids that are crossing that border, and and all the connections to China and how the China, uh Peter Schweitzer's new book is out, how China and the and the drug cartels in Mexico, they've all partnered together.
I mean, this is a form of insanity, and we are now setting America up for the worst attack, probably in in our history.
I mean, this is madness to me.
This is insanity to me.
And yet I seem to be at times one of the few people willing to say what is so should be so transparently obvious to everybody else.
I mean, how many more people you're gonna allow into the country unvetted?
Now, Biden's big visit.
Why do you think Joe Biden has finally decided to come down to the border today?
Because Donald Trump announced he's coming to the border.
Now, he's gonna be in a part of the border with next to no, there's no trouble spots where he's going, I guess, in Brownsville, Texas, or wherever the hell he is.
But border patrol agents, they're complaining that Biden it is Brownsville, but that he's going there.
In other words, he's going to purposely avoid any areas where he's likely to actually see illegal immigrants.
That, you know, he invited into the country.
Remember, he invited him in.
We played these tapes over and over again.
Washington Times pointed out he's not going to be able to learn anything from Brownsville, according to Brandon Judd, The president of the National Border Patrol Council.
You can't learn something if you're not willing to go where the trouble is.
He says he's going to a location that has never been a trouble spot.
And Judd added that the agents don't know what to expect from the president's visit.
We don't even know what the purpose of the meeting is.
There is no purpose, except it is it is just pure politics being played out in real time.
It's an election year.
It's now in Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada, South Carolina, and Michigan, the number one issue that the American people are most concerned about.
By the way, for all the right reasons.
But Joe Biden's not going to be anywhere near where he needs to be.
So his own eyes, if he can still see, would actually identify what the hell's going on.
You have Texas State Troopers, by the way.
They had to abandon a rescue.
They have uh they rescued five abandoned migrant children at Eagles Pass, where I'm going to be today.
The Department of Public Safety troopers in Texas, they found five young kids in Eagle Pass yesterday, after they crossed the Rio Gram with a group of 60 illegal immigrants.
The children ages five to eleven traveled all the way from Honduras and Guatemala.
They clutched paper notes with addresses for locations in New York and Texas written on them.
I mean, the level of sophistication.
You know how much money the cartels are making with human trafficking, drug trafficking.
So it's it's just unbelievable.
Anyway, we're going to continue.
We are at the border.
We'll be with President Trump in Shelby Park, Eagle Pass in Texas tonight.
Uh we'll have all of Joe Biden's idiotic trip.
We'll chronicle all of that as well.
We continue.
We are at the border with Mexico and uh Hannity tonight, nine Eastern on Fox.
We're gonna have Donald Trump for the uh hour tonight.
Uh there's no other issue that is more important that people are more focused on than the issue of the border.
Uh by the way, later on, we'll also have Sarah Carter uh who has covered the border better than anybody in news today.
Mark Morgan, uh former FBI and former acting CBP commissioner.
Uh they're gonna be down here.
We got a lot of people who are gonna be meeting uh the people that are at the border on the front lines every day.
And you know, it's like these are the people that have been screaming bloody murder that this border is porous, it is wide open, and we're not doing a damn thing about it.
It's just unbelievable.
All right, got to take a quick break.
We'll come back on the other side of this.
We'll get to your calls today as well.
Sarah Carter, Mark Morgan coming up, and we'll have the latest hunters appearance on Capitol Hill yesterday.
We'll check in with John Solomon and Greg Jarrett as we continue.
We are at the Southern Border.
Hannity tonight, nine Eastern, full coverage.
You don't want to miss it with President Trump as we continue.
All right, 25 now to the top of the hour, toll free numbers 800, 941 Sean.
You want to be a part of the program.
We're down at our southern border today, and we will be with President Trump.
Hannity tonight, 9 Eastern Fox News.
Um, you know, it's it's just amazing.
I'm gonna play some cuts for you here in a minute of Joe Biden, the Democrats, and and just their just their flat out lying, even mocking the GOP for wanting strong border security in a wall.
Uh yeah, uh walls actually work because where we are at Shelby Park in uh in you know, Eagle Pass.
Guess what?
Yeah, it's working.
That's why they're now all the illegal immigrant activity now has had to move to Arizona and California.
It works.
You know, if it didn't work, why do they have walls around the White House?
You know, why do they build walls around you know all these uh famous and very important politicians' homes?
Want to remind you though, for months now, it's uh a lot of time has passed since Hamas brutally attacked Israel.
They are now in a fight for their very survival, and unfortunately, there are many innocent victims uh as a result of all of this, not only those killed and kidnapped, but the economic situation in Israel is dire.
You have thousands of Israelis now unable to return to their homes with more being evacuated from the north now as things have been heating up with Hezbollah uh on the Lebanon border.
Now, thankfully there are groups like the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews.
They're right there in the middle of it every single day.
They have been from day one, and they are distributing critical essentials like food and medicine, emergency supplies for hundreds and thousands of of suffering Israelis, but they really need people's help.
They are in desperate need right now.
That's why we're proud to partner with the IFCJ today.
Uh every single donation is urgently needed.
Now there's two ways you can donate, and I'm telling you the need is great.
Uh from your cell phone, just dial pound two fifty, say the keyword support IFCJ.
That's pound two fifty, support IFCJ or their website, support IFCJ.org, that's support IFCJ.org.
And if you do it today, guess what?
Your gift is going to be matched, and it'll be double the amount in terms of the impact and the support that you'll be providing.
I'm telling you, they are desperate as we speak, and anything you can do will be a big big help.
Um let me play, let me go back in time.
And you may remember when Donald Trump talked about the dangers of our border.
Starting the day he came down the escalator at Trump Tower with his wife Melania, and the and the media went absolutely berserk.
He's racist, he's xenophobic, he's calling people murderers and rapists, and well, they're uh among those people, and I would argue the vast majority of people probably just want what we all often take for granted, and that's liberty and freedom and the ability to provide for our families.
We may we take it for granted.
But they look at America as the land of milk and honey and the land of opportunity.
But Democrats, once the talk discussion of a wall came up, oh, wanting strong border security, nah.
Anyway, listen.
They said we needed to triple the border patrol.
Or now they're gonna say we need to quadruple the border patrol, or they'll want a higher fence.
Maybe they'll need a moat.
Maybe they want alligators in the moat.
They'll never be satisfied.
Building walls is uh fundamentally contrary to what made this country what it is.
We're a pluralistic society.
A racist and cineful big wall.
A wall is an immorality.
It's not who we are as a nation.
Let me be very clear.
I'm not gonna vote for a wall under any circumstances.
I also want to point out that the last time a country tried to wall itself completely from its neighbor was in Berlin in 1961.
And that wall was constructed by communist East Germany.
The wall is, in my view, immoral, expensive, unwise.
We do not need walls.
Would you be willing to support some degree of wall funding if you got a permanent quantifying solution?
No.
Well, because of two different subjects.
Now don't forget, too, we have Joe Biden on tape.
And Joe Biden actually at one point said, We oh, everybody come.
I want you to come.
Well, uh, you know, and then saying, saying to the world, I mean, you know, because Sarah Carter last night did a report meeting people from like India and and countries, Paraguay, all over the world.
Why are they all ending up at our southern border?
Because they know they're gonna get through because the message has been sent worldwide by Joe Biden.
He actually said the words, I will not deport any illegals unless they are felons, but I don't even consider drunk driving a felony.
Wow, listen.
Should someone who is here without documents, and that is his only offense, should that person be deported.
That person should not be the focus of deportation.
We should fundamentally change the way we deal with them.
You've rejected the idea of abolishing ICE, but have said that the system should be reformed in some ways.
What exact changes would you bring to ICE as an agency?
I would hold ICE agents accountable if in fact they stepped over my executive orders, which is you only arrest for the purpose of dealing with a felony that's committed, and I don't count drunk driving as a felony.
Nobody, and some of you are gonna get mad at me with this, but nobody is going to be deported in my first hundred days until we get through the point that we find out the only rationale for deportation will be whether or not whether or not you've committed a felony while in the country.
But I will send to the desk immediately a bill that requires to access to citizenship for 11 million undocumented folks, number one.
Number two, in the first hundred days of my administration, no one, no one will be deported at all.
From that point on, the only deportations that will take place are commissions of felonies in the United States of America.
So to be clear, only fellows get deported and everyone else has to stay.
Yes.
Yes.
You know, and over this entire time we've been lied to for three long years.
And that is the border is closed, the border's secure, the borders closed, the borders secure.
The borders closed, the border's secure.
No, it's not.
Never has been, and is not today.
As a matter of fact, they were uh border patrol agents had to rescue these young children.
I mentioned the last half hour.
Uh because why?
They were drowning and and they're saving lives, which should not be their job.
And if we had the proper protection between razor wire, containers, and and border wall, nobody would be entering the country illegally.
That would mean it'd be a lot harder to get the fentanyl into the country and the opioids into the country.
I mean, the human trafficking and and selling kids into prostitution.
That would stop too.
But listen to Biden flipping and flopping and flailing on the issue of immigration.
What I would do as president is several more things, because things have changed.
I would in fact make sure that there is we immediately surge to the border.
All those people are seeking asylum.
They deserve to be heard.
That's who we are.
We're a nation says if you want to flee and you're freeing oppression, you should come.
I voted it like unlike most Democrats, and some of you won't like it.
I voted for 700 mile fans.
But let me tell you, we can go to fans 40 stories high.
Unless you're kidding the diet here in Mexico.
And you will not like this.
And British American employers who knowingly violate the law when in fact they hire illegal.
As I've made it very clear, within 100 days, I'm going to send to the United States Congress a pathway to citizenship for over 11 million undocumented people.
Should undocumented immigrants also be able to get subsidized health care?
If they are working in the United States of America and they are paying taxes, they should have access to health care.
Yes.
I can say quite clearly, don't come, and we're in the process of getting set up.
Don't leave your town or city or community.
I mean, you just can't make this up.
ICE, by the way, arrested a hundred Biden illegals who committed child assault.
This is on Fox News.com in fiscal year 2023.
ICE arrested 73,822 illegal immigrants with criminal histories, and again, that we know of.
Those arrested at 290,178 associated charges, convictions, averaging four per individual.
We're not exactly just sort of like the crime wave that we've now been seeing culminating in the death of this young nursing student in in Georgia.
You know, we saw a Venezuelan gang beating up the cops in Times Square and other crimes that we've chronicled.
Uh, you're not getting the best in the brightest from every country that wants to get into the that are sending people to our border.
It's not happening.
Anyway, listen to this.
More than a hundred illegal immigrants wanted for crimes, including child sexual assault and murder, were arrested nationwide in a major enforcement action, according to U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement.
They they reported this just earlier this month.
Now, ISA's enforcement and removal operations arrested 171 illegal immigrants, non citizens in 25 U.S. cities in an operation carried out over a little more than a week.
Over the course of 11 days, quote, our dedicated and committed law enforcement officers zeroed in on removable at-large non-citizens who are wanted for or who have already been convicted of horrible, almost unspeakable crimes like assault against children, including sexual assault and murder, according to ICE director, Patrick, whatever his name is, uh Leck Lightner at a news conference.
Oh, well, uh, what about the people that you didn't get?
What about the people that got away?
How is it in fiscal year, last year, 2023 that ended in October, that ICE arrested 73,822 non citizens that had criminal histories, and a total of 290,000, 73,000 people at 290,178 associated charges and convictions, averaging four per person.
Now, you look at those numbers, and you gotta say to yourself, what in God's name is going on here?
And those are the few that we're because we're not vetting the vast majority of them.
Um, on Fox and Friends this morning, Obama's homeland security uh chief, Jay Johnson, he warned Thursday that the border crisis has, quote, spread nationwide as sanctuary cities now battle the illegal immigrant crime, the other consequences, the surge across the country.
I mean, I kind of get a uh, you know, kicks and giggles out of New York City Mayor Adams, you know, now saying, well, maybe we don't want to be a sanctuary city anymore because they can't afford to house and clothe and feed and provide health care and education for all the illegal immigrants that Joe's been allowing into the country.
And it's not just New York, it's Chicago.
All these deep blue states, deep blue cities.
I mean, it should be number one on people's priority list.
We are literally putting Americans' lives at risk here.
Never mind those that have other nefarious intentions or terrorist ties, but we wouldn't know because we're not betting all of them.
Now, Johnson admitted the influx of illegal immigrants has yielded a hemispheric shift in multiple places.
Okay.
Well, this is not this is not brain surgery we are talking about here.
This is simple, basic, fundamental common sense that anybody with half a brain would apply to, you know, what whatever whatever's needed to protect the American people, the American homeland.
I'm not against illegal immigration.
Uh I am against illegal immigration, but I'm not against immigration, legal immigration.
And that means you get a background check.
That means you get a health check.
That means you get means tested to make sure you won't be a financial burden on the American people.
You know, the White House canceled their trip to the Tucson sector earlier this week, where border patrol agents are are really encountering illegal immigrants thousands a day, every single day.
Why didn't Joe go there?
Why is he going to Brownsville, Texas?
Where right now, thanks to Governor Abbott, Ted Cruz, and others and Texas National Guard, there's not a lot of activity there.
And because of their razor wire containers, guess what?
Uh it works.
You know, barriers work.
If they didn't work, why would we put them up?
Um, anyway, but President uh Biden and Secretary Mayorcus, they got a lot of questions to answer.
You know, if they keep saying, well, well, resort, we've done everything possible.
They've only tr they've only transitioned to that narrative recently.
As we have been pointing out to you regularly.
And now it's like, okay, we're getting killed on this issue in the polls.
It's not helping our reelection effort.
So now we're just going to turn around and act as though everything we have said for three years is just not true.
That the border's safe and secure.
No, we'll just blame Republicans for it.
You know, if you look at, for example, Mayorcus requested less detention space, and the decreasing trend from the prior administration is striking.
You know, 2.7 billion.
They wanted 51,000 beds in 2018.
Then you go up to Biden, and then they're up to from 51,000 to 60,000 beds and 3.1 billion.
These are billions of dollars.
Maybe we could be using money for hotels and you know, maybe maybe we can be giving it to America's homeless vets.
Maybe we can spend that money on our educational system in a way that benefits American children rather than taking away their resources to teach English as a as a second language when we don't even have enough teachers now to be educating our kids and have them proficient in reading, writing, math, science, history, and computers.
You know, big cities like New York.
Yeah, I mean, well, well, I'll go to Baltimore, for example.
That what, eleven, thirteen high schools, not a single kid is proficient in reading or math, but now we're going to take resources away in every city, and we're gonna take teachers out of the classroom, make classroom sizes bigger because they need those teachers to now educate all the illegal immigrants' children, just like we're giving them hotel rooms, just like we're feeding them, just like we're giving them credit cards in New York.
Free, free, free, free, free.
Well, it's not free because you're paying for it all.
Anyway, 800-941-Shawn on number if you want to be a part of the program.
At the top of the next hour, we'll check in with Sarah Carter, Mark Morgan.
Sarah has covered the border better than anybody.
Mark Morgan, former FBI and former acting CBP director.
When we come back, we are on the southern border.
President Trump on the border with us tonight for the full hour.
Hannity, 9 Eastern on Fox.
When we come back, we'll check in with Sarah Carter and Mark Morgan.
We'll get their take.
They've been up close and personal the entire three years of the Biden administration, and they were there during the Trump years, and they'll explain the difference.
As we continue, we're in Texas.
We're at the border, and uh glad you're with us.
