This is an iHeart Podcast.
All right, thanks, Scott Shannon, and glad you're with us.
Happy Monday.
If there is such a thing, I say it every Monday.
Anyway, thank you for being with us.
Hope you had a great weekend 800 941 Sean, if you want to be a part of the program.
Everyone be on the lookout.
Linda is apparently on a phone call with her kids' school.
And I can only imagine what this conversation might be worthy of an entire segment if we could tape it.
I don't know what happened.
I have no idea.
It may be all good.
But this this is going to be an interesting story by the time she gets here today.
All right, let's go back to Friday.
And while we were on the show, you know, we discussed that we knew that that bombs had been dropped in Syria and Iraq.
And that was the first signal to me that Joe Biden is afraid of doing what would be really necessary if the goal was to stop the nearly 200 attacks against American troops abroad in Iraq and Syria in particular, but the people responsible for all of this, the people providing the munitions, the people providing the training, the people that give the orders of the mullahs in Iran.
And that is not a shock.
That is not a surprise.
They're they're the ones funding, offering military support to the Houthi rebels.
There are the ones that not only trained Hamas terrorists for what happened on October the 7th.
They provided the munitions for them to carry off what ended up being the worst attack in Israel's history.
They are funding Hezbollah so that they have enough rockets to keep firing them into Israel.
And generally speaking, they have been the number one state sponsor of Terran.
Now things have gotten easier because of Joe Biden being president.
Number one, Joe Biden has not enforced the sanctions that prevent Iran from making hundreds of millions of dollars by selling oil.
This is an oil economy.
That's it.
That's all they've got.
They've got nothing else.
Now, that oil money was drying up.
And what did we see in the country of Iran during the Trump years?
We saw a lot of unrest, especially among young people.
And what is the you know, hundred billion dollar plus do you know in oil sales to China alone?
What is that do?
It makes the Iranian mules rich again.
Joe Biden willing to give six billion in ransom payment for hostages, and then Joe Biden, you know, lifting sanctions temporarily so that a ten billion dollar electricity bill could be paid by Iraq to Iran.
And again, you know, it's it's the Joe Biden plan of appeasement to make the mules in Iran rich again in the hopes that maybe they'll like us and maybe they won't, maybe they won't attack us anymore.
No, because I don't think the Iranian mules give a flying rip about how many people in Iran, I'm sorry, how many people in Iraq or Syria or how many Hoody rebels end up being dead because they're fomenting and they're they're fighting their their proxy wars, and these are their proxy terror attacks.
I don't think it means a thing.
Now, some of you are saying to you, Hannity, you're sounding an awful lot like somebody that wants war with Iran.
No, I've been very clear.
I do not.
Uh but I also am clear want to be clear about one other thing.
You there's no country on the face of this earth that should be allowed to get away with nearly 200 military strikes targeting U.S. American soldiers abroad.
Because that's what led up to the death, not this past weekend, the weekend prior, of three Americans and nearly 40 other Americans severely injured.
Uh no, you don't get 200 shots or 200 attacks against our military, and that there's not a proportional response from the United States.
That's very different from declaring war and going to war.
Now, to me, the most effective thing and the easiest thing that they'd be able to do is knock out Iran's economy by taking out their refineries.
Because I'm telling you right now, and the Hooties are laughing at the attacks against them, that they're gonna accelerate their attacks.
And I would imagine the Iranians, as rich as they are, they're gonna probably continue to speed up their nuclear program.
Donald Trump actually said in an interview with Maria Baromo that he thinks they could be as little as six weeks away from having nuclear weapons.
That's that's pretty scary.
That is not very different from what the IAEA reported that we told you about last week.
That they're now getting military grade weapons uranium, and that that means they're that much closer to actually having the capability of using nukes.
We know they have the delivery systems.
We know that they're now best friends with China and Russia.
We know that what I call this new axis of evil.
I have no doubt if they needed assistance to finish that project, probably it would come from China.
China wants cheap oil.
They'll be glad to transfer a little technology for cheap oil.
So what we saw starting, you know, on Friday, 125 bombs, 85 targets.
They said linked to Iran's revolutionary guard, devastating air strikes on Iraq and Syria.
That's what they want you to believe.
It's not devastating.
Because number one, they gave enough advanced public knowledge.
When I first came on the air on Friday, uh, and I said to you, yeah, they've already given us a heads up, it's going to happen sometime today.
And it happened during during that hour.
My first hour of the show on Friday.
We went through everything that I thought that they would do and do wrong.
Now, what does it mean?
What does it mean when appeasement at the level that Biden has now kissed the ass of the mullets in Iran, tried to bribe them into liking us, allow them to get filthy rich by not enforcing sanctions?
What is that bought, Joe Biden?
Nothing.
Now, let's compare that to absolutely no clue at all whatsoever.
You know, the backstory from my sources is this Solomon takeout was one of the most fascinating military maneuvers that I've ever had described to me.
Somebody that I think was in the very small circle of people that know one of my sources, but apparently they they were able to follow Solomonni, you know, for weeks at a time.
They they could have easily taken out the commercial airliner that he was on.
They didn't want to kill innocent people, which is the right call.
And there's Solomon in Iraq on a tarmac.
Uh there's a confirmed sighting that it's him right there.
And sure enough, in place was a drone that literally dropped him and everybody around them dead right where they stand.
Or just like when when Ronald Reagan knocked out half of the you know, Iranian Navy.
I mean, that is the only thing evil people understand.
That's the only thing bullies understand.
And if Joe really wanted to be impactful and he wanted to send a message to Iran and wanted them to stop their proxy terror wars, he could have knocked out their economy.
It wouldn't have been that hard to do.
Now, you'd say, well, well, Hannity, they might fire back.
Yeah, they might.
And every time they do, they get hit harder.
Do I want a war?
Do I want an escalation?
No.
There's got to be a rule in life for those of you saying, Hannity, we just we don't even care.
We've what do you mean you don't care?
There's been nearly 200 attacks on our military abroad.
And the response heretofore has been nothing but a pinprick.
I mean, they made a big deal the first time they took out what, two empty warehouses.
Why are they telegraphing and warning the enemy that the when the attacks are coming?
How did I know hours in advance that it was going to be Friday?
I'm just a I'm a member of the press.
I shouldn't know that.
Just like nobody knew when Solomon was going to get taken out or when Baghdadi was going to get taken out.
Nobody knew the plan to destroy the caliphate and ISIS.
You know, nobody, you know, I mean, nobody knew any of these things.
The head of Al Qaeda in Yemen was taken out or during the or all during the Trump years.
Nobody got a heads up that it was coming.
Nobody.
You know, Biden is giving Iranian proxies a heads up that it's coming, so they all leave.
So we don't kill the people that are responsible for committing the acts of terror.
We just give them time to escape.
I mean, now they say that they're not taking it off the table that there might be strikes inside of Iran.
Uh what do you mean?
I I does anyone have any confidence That Joe would be willing to do what was fully necessary.
No.
And that's part of the problem.
There's no deterrence from this administration.
You know, it's I he says, I can't tell you what I what I would do, John Donald Trump said.
I know exactly what I do that it's subject to change, but I know exactly what I do.
And you know there are a lot of stories here.
You covered it for a long time that the Iranians had no money to give Hamas a Hezbollah.
They had no money.
They were all going out of business.
All these terror outfits were going out of business.
And I said anybody that does uh business and buys their oil because that's that's a big deal.
That's essentially business, but oil in particular, he's right, that is the lifeblood of their entire economy.
Anyone that buys it will no longer do business with the United States.
Everybody stopped.
They were selling almost nothing.
And then there was unrest building at home.
And now we have U.S. troops abroad all at risk because of Biden's policy failures.
And because he didn't I am just telling you, the mullahs in Iran, they don't care how many people are dead in Iraq and Syria.
They don't.
They don't care how many UD uh uh Hoodi rebels are dead either.
It is an absolute farce to think that they do, or to think in any way that any of these attacks were effective.
I know we'll get some kind of assessment, it'll be glowing like everything else, but none of it's going to be real.
That's the problem.
Um, let me go to this.
There's great angst, anger, and real frustration uh among conservatives because the Senate did this border deal, Ukraine deal, Israel deal, uh, and they didn't need to do it, number one.
Let's start there.
It does not the Republicans in the House had already passed HR two.
That is a real border security bill.
All that all the Republicans in the Senate needed to do is say, okay, we're not going to talk about what Biden wants in terms of monies for Ukraine again, and a very small limited amount of money for Israel, and a tinier even amount of money for the border wall that they say is part of this.
But, you know, ultimately, when you read this bill, let me give you the worst part of it.
It ultimately allows Mayorcus and Biden.
Now, the two architects of this crisis, the bill creates statutory and discretionary limits to the number of days the new authorities, the new authority can be used.
So for example, if Joe Biden shuts down, you know, puts a shutdown order in place, they still allow 1,400 illegals into this country.
You know, and by the way, and groups of children not counting against that number.
Remember Jay Johnson, the Obama Department of Homeland Security called a thousand overwhelming to the system.
They're allowed now a 1,400 encounters to this, which is this bill is meaningless.
The secretary and Biden would have the discretion to partially waive the entire authority, and it's sunsets in three years.
Now, beyond that, the bill is nothing but a magnet for illegal immigrants.
It doesn't include critical reforms that are in HR2 in the House.
There's nothing from Trump's remain in Mexico policy.
Uh it allows the illegals to be released from physical custody into the U.S., all but endorsing catch and release of Biden.
It fails to abuse the to stop the abuse of paroling authority by continuing parole for entire countries instead of a case-by-case basis, which is current law.
It provides billions of taxpayer dollars to NGOs to fly and house illegals throughout the U.S. And by the way, and we have more evidence that border walls work.
In this case, razor wire works because where Governor Abbott has installed the razor wire.
Well, in Texas, border crossings in those areas are down 99.99%.
And there's now been a shift of illegals.
Now they're coming through Arizona and the sanctuary state of California.
And the New York Post, by the way, uh pointed out, joined by 13 other Republican governors who offered resources And troops for the effort.
Abbott claimed over the weekend that the fencing and aquatic barriers along the U.S. Mexican border has helped eliminate nearly all illegal crossings at Shelby Park and Eagle Pass with the Lone Star State looking to repeat the results elsewhere.
This is the one there was a time not long ago, an area where you know they sometimes have 5,000 people crossing a day.
He said it's now not happening.
We've taken control of this area.
And Biden, I think, you know, was big and tough for about five minutes and then had to back down from Texas once all the Republican governors started supporting Abbott, which by the way, all deserve credit for.
At 9 p.m.
do you know where your president is?
I don't know.
Yep.
He's sound asleep in his bed with not a care in the world.
Must be nice, Joe.
The rest of us will keep working.
You're on the Sean Hannity show.
25 to the top of the hours.
Probably uh can't wait to get up early and watch Liberal Joe.
Apparently, is his show of choice.
There was a story this weekend that said that Kamala Harris is very, very upset when she watches Fox News.
Um what?
Because she has to watch herself.
Uh maybe she can learn to what are you saying in my ear?
Linda's back.
Wait a minute.
I know I got that.
I I got that.
All right, so Linda had to be pulled away from the show because Linda got a call from the school.
That's just a quick call.
Everything was fine.
No drawing.
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
Well, I'm I want to reward him if he did something really good, good that you would consider bad as a parent.
What did he do?
Oh, he was fine.
It was just a it was a quick uh call about the uh Liam plays viola and piano, and he's gonna be in the in the concert.
So it was just a quick call for approvals.
Nothing exciting.
Sorry to disappoint.
I'm so bummed.
No eight-year-old fiascos to report today on a Monday.
I mean, lucky for us, the world isn't a good one.
Well, it can happen.
So that's good.
I mean, I don't even think like we used to fight so often that I don't even think it was a big deal anymore.
They just would separate you and and maybe you know, you'd have to write on a a blackboard a hundred times.
I will not punch my fellow students or something stupid like that.
Yeah, you know, the problem is gone.
It's not that they're gone, it's that they're alive and well in certain groups, and then another group she got these woke parents who are like, you know, be kind.
And not that I don't want my my kids to be kind, but it's enough.
I I like the golden rule, but I also this is why I'm saying I don't want war with Iran, but I want Iran to be sent a message to stop attacking our troops.
And I want that message to be proportional to the amount of the number of attacks that have taken place.
And it's the same thing.
If a bull like, for example, if if a kid's bullying your son on a playground, which I doubt would happen, um, you know, Uncle Sean will will teach him how to pop him right in the nose.
That'll end any future attacks.
Liam uh is a strong kid, and he has been taught early and often that if somebody hits you, you hit them and you knock them down.
You don't start it, but you end it.
You're gonna teach her son your eclectic blend.
Is that what you're gonna do now?
Yeah, I would teach my eclectic blend of mixed martial.
Oh, for God's sakes, just stop it.
Nobody cares.
Yeah, well, you know what?
Uh say that until one day, God forbid you're walking through the streets of New York, the hellhole that that's become, and uh, you would wish that I was there with you to protect you.
No, I don't.
Believe me, I don't.
No, you don't.
Anyway, well, the good thing is is I think it's I think it's okay, you know, now.
I mean, as far as I don't know about you, Sean, but I mean, we taught him early.
I'm like, this is how you throw a punch, this is how you trip, this is how you run really fast if there's too many.
I mean, you know.
I uh I had to tell my son something.
There was an incident.
Somebody did something to him in the playground and he knocked a kid down.
And I remember teaching my son something that I didn't believe in.
I'm like, all right, next time just go tell the teacher first.
And, you know, if they're really bothering you, you know, then you could defend yourself, but it's always better to tell the teacher first.
The good news is that didn't come up often.
It's it's just a different time and place, and it just didn't happen at the schools he went to, and he went to some public schools.
He went to one private school, but he went to public school also.
Anyway, 800 941 Sean.
Hey, by the way, you want old-fashioned values, you know, uh, yes, you always have your neighbors back.
You pull yourself up by your bootstraps.
Hard work never killed anybody.
Little elbow grease can fix everything.
Then you're gonna love my my wireless company, Pure Talk.
Uh it's a veteran-owned company, and by the way, the championsure values, unlike the big carriers, ATT, Verizon T Mobile.
The greatest thing is you'll get the same exact 5G network, the same exact cell towers.
Uh, you get the same exact service, and you pay about half the price.
The average family for the same service is saving close to a thousand dollars a year.
You're not sacrificing any, and I mean any uh issue at all uh in terms of coverage, get the exact same coverage.
Anyway, right now they're offering uh unlimited plans starting at just 20 bucks a month.
That's real money in your pocket for the same grade service you're used to.
Just dial pound two fifty, they make the switch simple, fast, and easy.
Use the keyword save now, pound two fifty keyword save now, and if you do it now, you save an additional fifty percent off on your first month.
Look, let me let me just tell you let me start with the basics as it relates to what is wrong with the Senate immigration bill.
Number one, there's no need for the bill.
And you say, well, Hannity, why would there be no need for the bill?
The because Joe Biden, if he really truly wanted to secure the border, he inherited the most secure border of any president in modern day.
He could just implement the Trump policies and he can do it the way he rescinded the Trump policies through executive fiat and the stroke of a pen.
We don't need any legislation.
He doesn't need it to secure the border.
He just bring back those policies.
That's number one.
Number two, Senate Republicans, they had no need to ever negotiate with Chuck Schumer.
Mitch McConnell does need not negotiate with Schumer.
Langford ought not be out there selling what is not HR2 as if it's better than HR two because it's not.
And enough people now have gone through this, including the House leadership.
You know, for example, the bill expands work authorization for illegal immigrants while failing to include critical asylum reforms.
You know, the the it has language that allows the illegal to illegals to be released from physical custody, which effectively would codify Biden's catch and release policy.
That's insane.
The so-called shutdown authority that's in the bill, if there's more than 5,000 illegal immigrants in a day, is anything but shutdown authority because it's got a million loopholes and it grants far too much discretionary authority to both Biden and Alejandro Mayorchis.
Why would you do that?
Because they're the ones that have led this effort to exploit every measure possible to even defy the law, aiding a bet in law breaking, and then give a billion dollars away, which we learned late last week, last week.
The bill fails to stop the president's abuse of parole authority, provides the taxpayer funding to fly and house illegal immigrants in hotels and FEMA shelters and services programs.
Biden has refused to utilize his broad executive authority to end the border catastrophe he created.
The House did pass a good strong border security bill.
It's known as HR2.
If Republicans in the Senate would have only said that's that's what we're supporting, period end of sentence, my guess is they would have gone along with it.
But already you have people like Ted Cruz calling it an utter disaster and pointing out that the the border never closes.
Steve Daines is uh his reaction on X, I can't support a bill that doesn't secure the border or provide taxpayer funding, or use or providing taxpayer funds for lawyers for illegal immigrants and giving billions of dollars to radical open border groups.
Uh he's a no.
Ron Johnson said they caused the crisis, and that fact has been an insurmountable problem in negotiations, and now the the text of the bill is released, it appears worse than we feared.
Tom Cotton says I've reviewed the bill.
I don't think it'll solve our border crisis.
It might make it worse.
I oppose it.
Joe Biden created this crisis by design.
He can reverse it with reversing his open border Policies today.
Our friend Chip Roy said this is not well intended.
It's not a border security bill.
It's, however, a bill designed by Democrats to boost Biden against Trump by helping Democrats blame Republicans for open borders.
You know, there were what, 6,600 illegal immigrants encountered at the southern border yesterday, including, by the way, 160 Chinese nationals apprehended in the San Diego sector, as I pointed out, where the razor wires now been put up in Texas.
Guess what?
99%, 99.99% of that area now is illegal immigrant free.
People aren't even going there anymore.
There was another analysis put out by American First Legal.
I thought they did a pretty good job.
They pointed out it does not end catch and release.
They pointed out it facilitates catch and release for certain populations.
That should be a red flag for everybody.
It exempts UAC from new quote break glass removal authority, which means it's worthless as the U.S. the UAC is remaining, you know, that's a huge loophole.
We've seen the largest child smuggling operation in history during the Biden administration.
And for example, they point out 476,000 UACs have come during the three years that Biden's been president.
You know, it does nothing to end perpetual settlement agreements, uh, which undermine border security and has undermined it for decades.
It codifies the administration's absurd asylum officer rule, you know, that dozens of state attorney generals are currently challenging in court, and they might as well say this is the Asylum Officer Empowerment Act, meaning that more and more illegal immigrants will get asylum, you know, based on what's in this law.
You know, the break glass emergency authority is a disaster.
The Secretary, quote, may use it if there are 4,000 or more illegal immigrants encountered each day.
That's 28,000 a week, 121,000 a month.
That's 1.46 million a year on the low side, but he must use it when there are more than 5,000 a day.
But even under those circumstances, they're allowed 1,400 to keep coming into the country by statute.
And again, at any point they can suspend it because they think uh because that authorities granted them in the bill.
You know, so none of this, none of this is working.
None of this bill is going to work.
All it is is a feel good measure.
Now, there's there's a lot going on here.
Democrats want to flip this and blame this on Republicans.
Joe Biden has been out there blaming Republicans for this, you know, disaster at the border.
No, Joe Biden created it as president in his first hundred days by ending all of the Trump policies that were working.
That's how we got into this problem.
Joe Biden created the problem.
You know, immigration policies that admit all these illegal immigrants, a lot of them low-skilled workers, are a plague on Americans in the low-skill, you know, labor market.
You know, and by the way, they've been warned now for a long time that this would be a problem for people that are on the lower end of the income scale.
It's not good for them.
Anyway, we'll have a lot more.
We'll talk about the legal side of this with Greg Jarrett at the at the top of the hour.
Um, but anyway, uh I gotta tell you there's nothing here that I like.
Nothing.
New York City's giving $53 million on top of the 180 some odd million dollars uh in hotel money, prepaid credit cards.
That's on top of all the money they spent up to this point.
You know, Biden's cop beating illegals use taxpayer money to finance their escape to California, we learned.
How do you like this news?
Authorities now say that of the six illegal immigrants accused of jumping those police officers in Times Square that uh most of them took off for California, a sanctuary state, but they didn't even have to leave New York because New York's a sanctuary state.
And they're giving away, you know, all of these these credit cards to illegal immigrants.
You know, it's sort of like the the news uh on Friday and everyone getting all orgasmic over the the deal that you know X number of jobs are created.
Uh here's the problem with this.
Sixty percent of American parents are using their retirement savings to pay their adult children's bills.
We still have sixty-two percent of Americans living paycheck to paycheck.
The high cost of food and the hype and the higher cost of pretty much everything we buy is not changed in spite of quote the stock market and Bureau of Labor Statistics spin that they put out.
zero hedge did a really good analysis of this uh and i thought it was a great analysis of the great jobs numbers that everyone was praising on friday It's almost entirely due to the Bureau of Labor Labor Bureau of Labor Statistics' latest choice of seasonal adjustments, which have gone from merely laughable to a full-on clown show.
In other words, if you have a comparison between the revised Bureau of Labor Statistic Payroll number and the ADP payroll number, it shows the Biden administration numbers are now clearly rising, even as the impartial ADP, which directly logs employment numbers at the company level, is actually far more accurate, and it shows an accelerating slowdown.
So I'm not buying any of this giddiness that they're trying to, you know, force on the American people.
Never mind the fact that in terms of real spending and real dollars, Americans, you know, were eleven thousand uh uh dollars annually, richer under Joe under Donald Trump.
Anyway, uh ADP pointed out that the unadjusted number was actually down 2.635 million, a three million job decline, and the average hourly wages and earnings, that spike from 4.1 to 4.5%, the highest since last last September.
But the problem is the hourly earnings number rose only because the BLS decided to sharply slash the number of estimated hours that everyone was working from 34.3 to just 34.1.
May not sound like a lot until one realizes that the last time the work week was this low was when the economy was shut down during COVID.
So why would anybody be electing this guy?
Uh, you know, and I know a lot of was made over the 96% of the vote that he got in South Carolina.
How many of you actually know that on Saturday the turnout was 4%, with even one of Biden's top allies acknowledging he'll have a hard time counting on the South for any pickup opportunities.
Another MBC poll has Trump up by five over Joe Biden.
That has put, you know, fear into the hearts of the crazy left.
I mean, they're losing their minds on this.
And more evidence that none of these cases may actually make it to trial before this election year is over.
Anyway, we're watching all of it.
800, 941 Sean, our number if you want to be a part of the program.
Uh at the top of the hour, we'll check in with Newt Gingrich.
Later on, Greg Jarrett on the legality surrounding this proposed law in the U.S. Senate on the border and much more.
We have a lot of ground to cover.
We'll check in with former Speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich.
We'll talk about the border, how bad the Senate deal is, and we shall talk about how ineffective the strikes were in Iraq and Syria and how Biden is not serious about responding to the nearly 200 attacks on our soldiers abroad.
I know everybody a lot of people saying, Hannity, don't get us into a foreign war.
No, I'm not saying that.
I'm saying if you fire and you try to kill American troops and you do so successfully eventually, there's got to be a price to pay.
You don't get, you know, free shots at our brave military men and women.
We owe them that.
And that means a proportional response.
