Time Text
This is an iHeart Podcast.
All right, thanks, Scott Shannon.
Hour two, Sean Hannity Show, toll-free this Friday.
It is 800-941 Sean.
And if you want to be a part of the program, a lot of your calls coming up.
You've probably heard about this new book.
We have discussed it actually a number of times on the program.
It's pretty interesting, and it's called Amateur Hour.
It's about Vice President Kamala Harris and what the Bidens think of her.
It's not good, how she has struggled in the early years as vice president, all the word salads, which we'll play here in a second.
Massive staff exodus.
Nobody wants to work with her.
Okay, she's the border czar, unless you believe Katie Kirk, who said, well, you're not in charge of the border, which was asinine.
Yes, if you're the border czar, by the way, maybe she should make a real trip down to the border and see with her own eyes now that they want this showdown with Texas.
Anyway, the multiple reboots of her vice presidency, the real relationship with the Biden family behind the scenes, she is not liked by either Joe or Jill Biden, according to this book.
We have a detailed history of Harris's long competitive history with Gavin Newsom and how that might play out in the future.
She was not Joe Biden's first choice.
The first choice, apparently, was Governor Whitmer of Michigan.
Anyway, there's a lot to talk about here, but just a quick reminder of how bizarre her speaking patterns are.
And I don't know why I always walk away with the feeling after hearing her like I just sat through kindergarten class.
Together, we are expanding access to transportation.
Seems like maybe it's a small issue, it's a big issue.
You need to get to go and need to be able to get where you need to go to do the work and get home.
So I'm here to ask you to do what you know how to do, because when you do what you do on all of these issues, the American people win.
Talking about the significance of the passage of time, right?
The significance of the passage of time.
So when you think about it, there is great significance to the passage of time.
More parents are seeing the value of educators when they have to bring their kids and say we're not paying them nearly enough.
It is time for us to do what we have been doing, and that time is every day.
Every day, it is time for us to agree.
You know, when we talk about our children, I know for this group, we all believe that when we talk about the children of the community, they are the children of the community.
You got to take this stuff seriously, as seriously as you are, because you have been forced to have to take it seriously.
I mean, you just can't make any of this stuff up.
Anyway, the author of this soon-to-be bestseller, Amateur Hour, talking about Kamala Harris, is Charlie Spearing is back with us.
Sir, first of all, congratulations on the book.
A lot of sourcing in here.
How were you able to get this story that they pretty much have kept under wraps for three years that the Bidens really can't stand her?
Hi, Sean.
Yeah, it's something that Democrats don't really want to talk about in public because the moment they start criticizing this historic first woman, first black vice president, they'll be immediately branded as sexist and racist.
But behind the scenes in Washington, it's true.
Very few Democrats even like her, let alone feel like defending her.
But you go into detail.
Biden knows full well that she's not up to the job of commander-in-chief.
Apparently, his preference was Gretchen Whitmer, and that didn't happen.
He chose Harris.
Why?
Well, he was definitely pressured by former President Obama to pick a woman of color on the ticket.
You know, he famously promised to pick a woman on the ticket.
He liked Whitmer.
He liked her populous style, her plain-spoken Midwest accent, would help him win the state of Michigan.
But senior advisors soon realized during the summer of rage, during those George Floyd riots, that they really needed a black woman on the ticket to sort of help Joe through this election and help him not alienate all the black voters who were really upset by some of his more...
So they played identity politics with the person that actually tweeted out the bail fund after the precinct in Minneapolis was burned to the ground, that same vice president?
That sounds like she's reporting insurrection to me.
Absolutely, yeah.
It was a mess.
And so they really thought if they just brought on a woman of color on the ticket, they could reassemble the Obama coalition.
And after Biden's horrific gasp on poor kids are just smart as white kids, after he said, you're not black if you vote for Trump, the black community was very upset by that.
And they tried to find somebody who could help them through the election.
She was the only Democrat in the primary that actually brought up the issue that I have pointed out many times, and that was Joe Biden partnering with a former Klansman by the name of Robert Byrd to stop the integration of public schools, saying that he did not want public schools to become, his words, a racial jungle.
She was the only one that pointed it out, but then gladly grabbed the vice presidency when offered.
What is the state of, what are Joe and Joe Biden thinking about her now?
Well, let's ask that question.
Joe's certainly disappointed.
He kind of wanted a buddy, a true partner he could work with in the White House, the way he felt about Barack Obama.
But it turns out that Kamala Harris is not really interested in playing buddy with Joe Biden.
She's in there to protect her brand, to protect her political future.
She's thankful to Joe.
Thanks for bringing me up and putting me in this vice presidential spot.
But he's not that interested in taking on some of the toughest issues that he needs help with and not interested in sort of just watching him dwindle with her being in the same place.
So she's trying to pull out and protect her brand, and certainly the Bidens don't see her as very competent or loyal.
All right, let's ask this question.
And it's not beyond the pale that at some point between now and next November, Joe Biden announces he's not able to continue or or maybe worse.
I hope not.
I don't wish that on anybody.
And if that moment comes, you talk about this this contentious relationship that she's had with Gavin Newsom.
Now, I interviewed Gavin Newsom and I moderated a debate between him and Governor DeSantis, and he could not have been more clear in both instances that he believes the next person up would be Kamala Harris if, in fact, he, Joe Biden, was unable to run or even finish his term, but unable to run in the next election if he bails out.
Now, we keep hearing Gavin Newsom's name and we keep hearing Michelle Obama's name.
What are you hearing?
Yeah.
Why is Gavin Newsom in South Carolina right now?
Why is he on the campaign trail?
Oh, I'm doing it for Joe, but no, very clear.
He's doing it because Joe can't talk.
Joe can't get through a single event.
Yesterday's event in Wisconsin was an unmitigated disaster.
And and so that's the reason.
But he keeps I mean, he is steadfast in him saying under no circumstances will he run.
That doesn't mean he won't.
It just that's what he was saying.
He said it convincingly, but and he said it often to me and to Governor DeSantis.
Oh, it's it's Democrats biggest fears.
If Joe Biden can't make it to Election Day, that'll trigger an automatic frenzy among Democrat donors and Democrats all around because they know that Conlin Harris is not up for the job to compete with Trump in a general election.
So how will that go over with a big part of the Democratic base that is suburban moms and African Americans?
How's that going to go over?
That's the difficult part.
It'll be very hard to oust Conald Harris without angering a significant portion of his base.
This is what happens when you play identity politics.
It can snap you right back in the face.
And so, look, there's going to be open competition if Joe Biden can't make it to Election Day.
Their biggest hope is that Joe Biden can make it across the finish line, past the election.
That's why he had to run for re-election because Connell wasn't ready.
He would have been more than happy to pass the baton if he felt the Connell could compete with Trump.
But that's obviously not the case.
And that's why Democrats are in that position today.
Pretty amazing times we're living in.
I got to tell you.
But yeah, I think Amateur Hour, her in the White House has not been a good run for her in any way.
She thinks that the reason that their poll numbers are so low and that Donald Trump is beating them by six points at a pollout today and seven at a pollout yesterday or earlier in the week, it's because they're not touting their accomplishments enough.
Do you believe that that's the case?
Because I don't.
Yeah, they just don't have anything right to say that.
All they have to say, they're selling this script of fear, right?
She went on the view and said, I'm terrified of Donald Trump.
I'm terrified of what he'll do to our country.
We've got to run scared.
Everyone should be scared of the evil MAGA movement.
They're all going to destroy you and ruin your lives.
That's kind of the message they're running on.
They can't run on the idea that say, hey, we have a plan to bring down inflation.
Hey, we're going to boost the economy.
Instead, they just have anti-economic policies that are actually destroying the economy.
And people every day are struggling with inflation, and they still don't have a message on how they're going to fix it.
Well, we wish you a lot of luck with the book.
We really appreciate your time.
Charlie Spearing, the book is called The Amateur Hour, Kamala Harris in the White House.
It's going to get interesting.
Let's see if he makes it through the convention.
At that point, I'd say they're pretty well locked in as long as he can make it to November.
But we appreciate it.
Thank you, sir.
800-941-Sean is our number.
If you want to be a part of the program, we have time for John in North Carolina.
John, how are you?
Glad you called.
Hey, Sean, happy Friday.
It's good to be with you.
Yeah, the Friday happy part as all of ours.
We all celebrate together.
What's going on?
Yes, sir.
Well, I really appreciate your program and what you do to put the word out.
Your book, Deliver Us From Evil, was the first book I read cover to cover.
I was 13, still in middle school, so I've been a listener and a reader for a long time.
I was hoping you could share your thoughts on R.F.K. Jr.
He's kind of an enigma on the scene, but I think his views have resonated with a lot of young people, particularly with respect to the climate crisis and how it's been abused by the Democrats to push totalitarian controls and that world reserve currency that's been proposed by China and money spent on conflicts and wars abroad.
I know he's about to threaten anyone in the primaries, but I wonder going into the general election, if he continues to gain ground with independents and young voters, who do you think he's a spoiler for?
Independents who might be leading conservative or moderate liberals if moderate liberals even exist anymore.
Look, I'll be honest, I think it's too early to tell.
I actually did a town hall with him.
Personally, I liked him.
I think he's sincere in his beliefs.
That always means something to me.
But if you look at his track record, he's really conservative or liked by conservatives on three issues.
One, his outspokenness regarding the COVID vaccine, but more widely, his position on vaccinations in general.
When I did the town hall with him, I really went out of my way to give him a fair hearing and let him get his views out uninterrupted and not play the role of his debate partner because I wasn't.
He's running for president.
I think he deserves to be heard, and I gave him that opportunity, and I'll do it again.
100%.
You know, but I have pushed him on, you know, tell me where else you're conservative and why do you always vote for liberal Democrats?
And he doesn't have a good answer for that because I would argue that's where his heart is.
I mean, remember, he wanted to be in the Democratic primary.
They're the ones that kind of kicked him out, so he might have some resentment towards him now.
But, you know, don't let that fool you to think that he's some big conservative because he's not.
Exactly.
He supports labor unions and supports abortion rights, which I find kind of problematic.
Anyway, good call.
Appreciate it.
John, North Carolina, you have a great weekend, my friend.
All right, quick break right back to the phones.
Toll-free, our number is 800-941-Sean as we continue this Friday.
All right, let's get back to our busy phones.
Let's say hi to Angela in the free state of Texas.
Maybe not so free.
And God help Texas.
I hope that Joe Biden isn't stupid enough to have law enforcement against the Texas National Guard and create a more chaos at the border and a showdown in Texas.
God help Texas.
What's going on, Angela?
Glad you called.
That's another whole can that I don't know.
That's a pretty big can, if I do say so myself.
Well, my third great uncle was Captain John R. Hughes.
Are you familiar with that name?
I am not familiar, not off the top of my head.
Texas Ranger, Captain Company D.
He was a border boss.
There's a book out, Border Boss by Gray Zayn, and it's about Uncle John, and he keeps the border under control.
We know how to secure our borders.
It's easy to do.
That's why them now saying blaming everybody but themselves is not even funny.
It's a bad joke because they've allowed it.
They did the Constitution, and he's starting to now invoke it.
So what's on your mind?
Because we don't have a lot of time left.
What is on my mind is, and this is a huge question, but it's an easy question and it's a hard question.
Why was Trump so light when he was just a billionaire?
He runs for office, and now everybody that loved him is against him.
He represents a real clear threat to what is the bureaucracy, the system.
If you want to take it a little further, you would call it the deep state.
The people that have had unfettered power for a long time, they don't want checks and balances.
They kind of like the system the way it is, and Donald Trump is a threat to that system.
It really is that simple.
And, you know, they didn't realize how big a threat he'd be.
I mean, there's, you know, story after story out there now how all these people that have invested money to defeat him are just, you know, they're throwing their hands up.
They don't know what to do because the people keep speaking the other way.
The donor class of the Republican Party has never represented the base of the Republican Party.
And that's why I was pointing out, you know, the hypocrisy.
They can spend all the money they want on any candidate they want, but if the base doesn't like that candidate, that candidate's not going to win.
And we've seen that play out more than a few times.
Anyway, appreciate your call.
800-941-Sean, if you want to be a part of the program.
Ladies and gentlemen, we'd like to take a second to hear the immortal Bob Grant's thoughts about the world today.
Hey, ladies and gentlemen, it's sick and it's getting sicker.
Now, back to the Sean Hannity show.
And it's sick and it's getting really sicker.
Anyway, back to our top story, the showdown in Texas.
Is Joe Biden with the deadline today?
Is he really going to have a standoff between Texas National Guard, 25 Republican governors, Governor Abbott, and let's see, Border Patrol agents that I'm certain want no part of any of what Joe might be planning.
The same Joe Biden that won't do a thing when China has a spy balloon flying all over our airspace, doesn't do a thing when China tries to intimidate our Air Force in international airwaves or our Navy and international waterways, doesn't hold China responsible for unfair trade practices or intellectual property theft or COVID or anything pretty much.
But now Joe Biden's going to get tough with what, the Texas National Guard?
They've never been ordered by the Supreme Court to take that wire down.
And why is Joe fighting so hard for open borders and then lecturing us?
Oh, the border hasn't been secure for 10 years after spending three years lying to us saying that the border's closed and the border's secure.
You really can't make it up.
Now, our border czar was on with Katie Couric.
I don't know where Katie Couric's been the last 10 years, but anyway, she pops up on this interview with the vice president and actually tells the vice president, the border czar, that she's not in charge of the border.
You can't make this liberal media bias up.
Early on, I know you were tasked with understanding the root causes of the immigration crisis, but you are not in charge of the border, which I think is important to point out.
Having said that, 14 House Democrats joined Republicans in denouncing the Biden administration's so-called open door policies, open border policies, rather, calling it, quote, a national security and public safety crisis.
And as you know, I'm sure you've talked to them.
So many big city mayors, Democrats are saying this is an untenable situation in cities across the country.
68% of Americans disapprove of the way the Biden administration has handled the border.
So how do you address that?
Have you done enough?
There's no question.
Our immigration system is broken and it needs to be fixed.
And as with any problem, then leaders will participate, true leaders, in the solution.
What the hell was that question?
The longest.
I thought I asked long questions.
Before we get to Sarah, look, if you own a timeshare and you felt like booking your timeshare in the past was difficult, well, it's almost impossible now.
Most owners are shocked to learn that their timeshare is now available to the public.
Well, that severely limits your booking options.
And many owners also have reached out to Lone Star Transfer, the people I trust, because they're upset yet again.
Their yearly dues have nearly doubled during this maintenance fee season.
Now, for well over a decade, this family-owned business, the nicest people, they have had the pleasure of helping tens of thousands of owners legally and permanently get out of their never-ending timeshare fees.
They have an A-plus rating with the Better Business Bureau, hundreds and hundreds of five-star testimonials, and their clients know, and I know personally, Lone Star Transfer is the only company that you can trust.
Now, Lone Star Transfer, listen to this.
They will guarantee the release of all liability to your timeshare in writing and in a specific timeframe.
Anyway, give them a call.

Anyway, our own Sarah Carter is down at the border.
She's been doing amazing coverage all throughout the last couple of years.
She's been there more than anybody I know.
She's been among the migrant caravans.
She's reported on the rapes of young women with human traffickers.
She has reported on fentanyl, on opioids, and how nobody's being vetted that Joe is allowing into the country.
They're just basically opening the door.
What, now we have a showdown headed our way, Sarah Carter?
What's Joe going to do with his big deadline today?
I don't know.
I think he's put himself definitely between a rock and a hard place.
You know, I'm out here.
Governor Christy Noam is out here.
We have Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
I'm out here with them.
I'm actually on the boat right now, Sean, with law enforcement, Texas DPS.
We have Border Patrol out here as well.
They're allowed to use their boat.
So they're coming in and they're moving their boats out.
I was talking to Border Patrol today.
I was talking to the National Guard.
The National Guardsmen are standing here.
And right now, this standoff doesn't feel like much of a standoff.
I mean, I'm going to tell you what I'm hearing from the guys on the back end.
Nobody wants to see this go down.
Everybody that I have been talking to, from law enforcement to the National Guard, they want to see this border secured.
Everybody understands how dangerous a situation we are in.
Our adversaries have been taking advantage of this border for some time now, and more so, especially under President Biden.
We've seen it with the extensive numbers, the rise in numbers, over 300,000 in December, people coming into the country.
We have seen the horrors of child abductions and the loss of 85% of the children that came in here into the United States just disappearing into the fabric of America, child predators, human trafficking is so extensive in human slavery.
There is nothing good about what is happening here.
And this is the position that the Biden administration has put us in.
We've got Concertina Wire, by the way.
It's still going up.
They're not cutting it down.
There's no chance, I've talked to everybody, that we're going to see anybody cut anything down.
Now, the biggest concern here is...
By the way, I mean, the problem is that now Biden is being pressured to basically try and federalize the Texas National Guard.
I don't think the Texas National Guard is going to listen to that.
And on top of it, I don't believe that Border Patrol, federal agents, are going to want anything to do with a confrontation with fellow law enforcement.
I don't believe that for a second.
Neither do I, Sean.
Neither do I.
And this is from talking to the men and women on the ground here, both in Border Patrol, as well as with the National Guard, as well as with Texas DPS, as well as with Florida Fish and Wildlife.
I saw Florida troopers on the way down here.
You see a real effort of support.
The reason why Governor Christy Noome is here and showing the support from other states to Governor Greg Abbott saying, we're going to be backing you on Operation Lone Star.
I don't see how it is possible that a president of the United States of America is going to try to pit his federal agents against his local authorities here in the state of Texas.
I don't think they will do it.
I do not believe for a second that federal border patrol agents are going to get into any physical confrontation with Texas National Guard if they're standing there.
I don't believe it.
I don't think they'll do it.
And they won't, and they won't.
And that is the message that I'm hearing.
It's resonating loud and clear.
I think the reason why we have seen such an intensity here at Shelby Park is because this is the issue most Americans care about.
The issue of border security right now even supersedes the economy.
And Americans are frustrated.
They're not being listened to.
We were in New York City this past week for the Hannity show for Fox.
And we're out there in Brooklyn.
We're walking around the city streets in New York City.
We go out to the Floyd-Bennett Field and runway 19, and we see 2,000 migrants being housed in tents.
on what is an emergency runway field that is supposed to be used by JFK or any of the airports in case of an emergency.
And you have people sleeping in the cold, out in a tent, nothing around, children with people.
They don't even know who, if these kids actually belong with the people that they're placing them with.
And the Americans are seeing this in Chicago.
We're seeing this, you know, in Ohio, in Dayton, Ohio.
People are losing their lives to fentanyl in the United States.
We have over 100,000 deaths, more than 112,000 deaths last year to fentanyl, as well as overdoses.
And Americans are sick and tired of not being listened to.
And Sean, I can tell you, out here on the border, one thing is certain, whether it's Border Patrol, National Guard, state troopers from Florida, you know, Florida Fish and Wildlife, Texas DPS, the men and women of the United States that are sworn to protect our nation are doing their job.
They are working together.
They are doing the best under these very harsh circumstances.
We obviously have a president.
Breaking news on 710WOR.
And this is Jeff McKinney in from the WR newsroom.
And just now, breaking, Manhattan jury is ordering Donald Trump to pay more than $83 million to writer E. Gene Carroll.
She had been seeking up to $10 million from Trump, who's already been found liable for sexually abusing Carroll and for defaming her.
But again, the jury just now is saying that Donald Trump should pay E. Gene Carroll $83.3 million.
That's a multiple of eight of what she had been seeking.
So astounding news.
And we'll send it back now to Sean Hannah.
Texas to take it down.
And now is Biden really going to try to nationalize the Texas National Guard and other guards members from now other states that are going to be showing up en masse?
I think he's creating a full-on rebellion that will probably be the most humiliating moment of his presidency, which is saying a lot considering the disaster that was in Wisconsin yesterday.
Yeah, absolutely.
And I think that is the biggest concern here.
Will he federalize the National Guard?
And if he does that, if he does that, I think that's...
I wonder if the National Guard will even listen to him, to be honest.
I don't really think they will.
Maybe they have to.
I don't know.
I'm not telling them what to do.
I'm just saying.
Law enforcement protects law enforcement, especially good law enforcement officers.
They don't want any part of this.
No, they don't.
No, they don't.
No, they don't at all, Sean.
They don't want any part of this.
They want to be able to protect the American people from what they see as a national security.
It's beyond a crisis now, a national security threat, which is this wide open border, this border policy that has allowed millions upon millions of people to pour into the United States, including known gotaways from nations as far as Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria.
We have seen people, SIA, special interest aliens coming in from all over.
We know that we have intercepted terrorists, that people connected to terrorist organizations and terrorists themselves.
It's just the question is how many have come into our country, right?
How many are here already?
How many sleeper cells?
Are they here?
Is our FBI even up to the task of finding them, considering a recent report that shows that the FBI has lowered its standards so significantly that there's a lot of concern on the part of members of Congress and others that we may not be up to task to stopping an attack.
And you hear it over and over again, Sean, from everyone that's working in law enforcement and intelligence.
It's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when.
They believe that we have really, under the Biden administration, put ourselves in a very dangerous and precarious position.
And our nation is going to pay the price for that.
And it already is.
It already is.
All right, quick break more with Sarah Carter on the other side.
Toll-free.
Our number this Friday is 800-941-Sean, if you want to be a part of the program as we continue.
The final hour of the Sean Hannity Show is up next.
Hang on for Sean's Conservative Solutions.
All right, we continue with Sarah Carter.
She is down with National Guard and Border Patrol agents as the showdown in Texas is taking shape as we speak.
You saw John Solomon's report last night about, you know, some of the top 10 FBI luminaries.
They said, quote, in its modern history that the United States of America has never suffered an invasion of the homeland, and yet one is unfolding right now.
And with the constitutional crisis now brewing in Texas and voters nationwide alarmed, it goes on to say, you know, some of the FBI's most famous retired executives are issuing this stark warning to Congress that President Joe Biden's border policies have unleashed an invasion of military-age male foreigners who pose one of the most pernicious ever threats to American security.
And by the way, these FBI executives, they're the same ones that actually were the head of the Bureau's intelligence, counterintelligence, counterterrorism, criminal and training operations.
These are the top people, the top guys.
I mean, what a warning they've given here.
Well, they're giving that warning.
And Sean, this is the weaponization of migration.
Look, we've seen Maduro do it in Venezuela.
We're watching China.
The Chinese Communist Party under President Xi Jinping is very well aware of what is happening in the United States.
They've been using fentanyl as part of their proxy war against our citizens.
And we know for a fact, we know for a fact, based on intelligence data and collection overseas, that they are weaponizing this migration path into the United States.
So John Solomon's report is right on the money.
I mean, this is of the highest level of concern.
We have seen what our adversaries are willing to do.
And we have an invasion happening right before our very eyes.
And we have a White House that is allowing it to happen.
And I think that's the biggest question we have to keep asking, is why would the Commander-in-Chief, the President of the United States of America, whose only job is to protect the security of our nation, not doing it, not allowing our nation and our law enforcement to do their duty and protect this country?
Instead, we have a president that is tying their hands behind their backs and not allowing them to do their job and furthermore, pitting one against the other.
And that is wrong.
It is unfair.
And I think that what you're going to see in Texas is a unification of not only just the states and our governors coming together, but our law enforcement officials coming together and saying, hey, guess what?
We have a duty to protect this nation and our Constitution.
And that's what we're going to do first.
Great reporting, as usual.
We really appreciate it.
Sarah Carter.
We'll have more coverage with you tonight on Hannity.
