Coming up next, our final news roundup and information overload hour.
All right, news roundup and information overload hour.
Our toll-free number this Friday, 800-941-Sean, if you want to be a part of the program, went on that hard-hitting news show, The View.
Well, it was pretty amazing.
Kamala Harris reveals her deepest, darkest fear.
She's scared to death that Donald Trump is going to be the next president.
By the way, all this fear-mongering, it's exactly like it was in 15 and 16.
Listen.
Are you scared, first of all, what could happen if Trump ever became, God forbid, president again?
And what are you going to do to stop the crazies?
I am scared as heck.
Which is why I'm traveling our country.
You know, there's an old saying that there are only two ways to run for office, either without an opponent or scared.
So on all of those points, yes, we should all be scared.
But as we know, and certainly this is a table of very powerful women, we don't run away from something when we're scared.
We fight back against it.
Oh, she's been a real fighter, especially as borders are.
Pretty amazing.
Then Whoopi Goldberg, our old friend over at that hard-hitting news show, The View, calling out Fox hosts as the snowflakiest people I've ever seen.
Listen.
You know, you folks are the snowflakiest people I've ever seen.
You don't know what she's scared of?
You don't know?
You haven't been listening to what this man has said he's going to do on day one, how he's treated women.
You don't think we're uncomfortable when somebody says, yeah, I'm the guy that got rid of, you know, Roe versus Wade.
What do you mean, what are you scared of?
You're okay.
I'll just pose.
I can't mess up now.
Snowflakiest and Roe v.
Wade just simply allows the states to decide on the issue of abortion, which means that late-term abortion in blue states will continue forever in perpetuity.
Anyway, joining us now is Leo 2.0 Terrell, Fox News contributor, civil rights attorney.
Charlie Spearing is with us, author of the new book, Amateur Hour, Kamala Harris in the White House.
And anyway, also a White House correspondent for Breitbart News talk.
You know, by any measure and every poll, our Vice President Harris has been able to accomplish the impossible.
She has lower ratings, approval ratings than Joe Biden.
Charlie, can you explain that?
Yeah, Sean, thanks for having me on.
Her approval ratings are so bad.
And wow, look what she's selling.
She's just selling fear.
And that's sort of the message.
How can we make our citizens afraid of other citizens?
It's almost like they believe that, you know, you hear them talk about the right-wing crazies.
It's almost like she's trying to sell, she's trying to sell average voters who support President Trump as terrorists who are going to take out and destroy your very lifestyle in America.
Well, I mean, this is their whole campaign, Leo 2.0, and I've been saying it regularly.
I said it from the first day I came back in January.
Let me prepare you for what the year is going to be like.
The Democrats have no policy success they can run under.
Then they'll talk about January 6th, January 6th.
They'll leave out important points about the intel failures that even Lester Holt reported on.
They won't focus on the fact that Muriel Bowser in writing rejected any National Guard troops, and they certainly won't ask the sergeant of arms or the people in charge of security at the Capitol.
And that would be Nancy Pelosi at the time and Chuck Schumer, why they didn't do more with that actionable intelligence.
So none of that will come out either.
And then they'll go back to the regular old playbook.
Republicans are racist.
They're sexist.
They're misogynist.
They're homophobic.
They're xenophobic.
They're Islamophobic.
They're transphobic.
They want dirty air, dirty water.
And nasty old mean Republicans will take grandma and grandpa in a wheelchair and throw them over a cliff.
That is all that.
That's the playbook they use every two and four years, Leo.
And frankly, now they use it almost every day.
And I think it's getting old.
And you're absolutely right, Grace Summation.
And here it is, John.
It will not work.
I want to be as clear as possible.
You know, if Joe Biden is the worst president in our lifetime, Kamala Harris is the worst vice president ever.
She is a disaster.
She cannot articulate one thing that she has accomplished as vice president.
And I'll tell you, Kamala Harris needs Joe Biden.
If Joe Biden and Kamala lose this year, I want to say, please say this, hey, her political career is over.
But what they will not talk about and the public is focused on, they won't talk about the economy.
They won't talk about inflation.
They won't talk about the southern border.
They won't talk about crime in the street.
They won't talk about how people are given jobs based on their skin color.
They won't talk about things that are relevant to the American people.
My evidence, look at the poll.
More than 50 plus percent people in this country have Trump deraine syndrome.
I'm one of them.
And Trump has a record to run on.
Sean, if Trump was not popular, if his policies didn't work, why did Jamie Dimon state yesterday, oh, this guy has some great policies?
The American people will not drink the Democrat Kool-Aid of the race car and be afraid.
No one's afraid of Donald Trump except the Democrats because they're afraid they're going to lose and they're going to lose.
The only way they can keep him off the ballot is illegally, a dual system of justice.
And the Supreme Court, thank goodness, I guarantee you, is going to reverse that ridiculous Colorado decision.
You hear me, Secretary of State of Maine?
Why do we, and I think you're raising good points, Leo, as usual, but I'll ask you, and I think this is an important question as to where we're headed with this, Charlie.
Why is it that Vice President Harris, whenever they talk about the possibility Joe may not be on the ticket, why is it then possible that it's like Kamala Harris is just like an afterthought.
Nobody wants her to replace him.
Why do we keep reading article after article and hearing commenters saying every day that, oh, it looks like Michelle Obama, they'll go to her in the last minute and they'll appeal to her and she'll be the Democratic nominee.
Or they mentioned Gavin Newsom, although I'm not sure it was such a good idea for him to give free health care to every illegal immigrant.
I don't think that's going to fly right now with Joe Biden's unvetted 10 million illegal immigrants.
Why is it there's no Democrats saying, yeah, she'd be a great replacement for Joe?
Yeah, Sean.
She has very high, very low approval rating.
The last aid today poll shows her with 57% disapproval, only 33% approved.
That is historic lows for a vice president.
And when I reported this book, I talked to Democrats and talked to people in Washington, D.C.
So many of them don't even like her, let alone root for her.
She is deeply unpopular among Democrats.
They're holding back a lot of criticism.
They don't want to be called racist.
They don't want to be called sexist.
But wow, they are just praying that Joe Biden can make it to pass the finish line.
They want to see him reelected because even if he doesn't make it, then, wow, then maybe Kamala Harris can slide in without even having to go through another election.
Would it be Kamala Harris?
And what if the Democrats try to get really clever and bypass her?
What if they say bypassed her and try to appeal to Gavin Newsom to run, for example?
Would that work?
How would the base of the Democratic Party feel?
How would they feel if they decided to bypass her and go to Michelle Obama?
Well, they're kind of stuck in a difficult position.
How do you get rid of the nation's first black, the first black woman vice president without offending half of your base?
The only way you can do it is if you get another black woman who's more popular than Kamala Harris to sort of slide in there and play.
Right now, a lot of people fit that bill, but like you mentioned, Michelle Obama would definitely be somebody that could do it.
I don't see Michelle Obama doing it.
That's my gut, my take.
But I never say never, Leo 2.0 to Roe.
You're 100% correct.
Let me be clear.
I agree with you 100%.
Michelle Obama's not going to run.
She's going to run on her own terms and conditions.
And she's not going to run at the expense of Kamala Harris.
Kamala Harris is being skipped over because she's incompetent.
And I'll tell you right now, they're stuck with her.
That's the penalty of playing identity politics.
You kick her off the ballot, you take her, you replace her, then the Democrats will point fingers at each other, accuse them of being racist.
Joe Biden is stuck with an incompetent vice president.
And I'll tell you, Sean, he has nowhere to go.
If he makes it to November, which I don't think he is, because I'll just mention two words, Hunter Biden.
Well, okay, so he doesn't make it.
Who's up next?
Oh, easily.
Gretchen Whitmer, as you mentioned, it's a free-for-all.
At the convention.
It could be Gretchen from Michigan.
It could be Gavin Newsome.
My bad, it would be Gavin Newsome.
If there's a convention decision, it's not going to be Kamala.
She's incompetent.
And as Charlie just said.
And you really don't see a scenario where Michelle would ever accept that.
Never.
Never.
Save this take.
Never.
Why?
2020.
Why?
Because, again, it has to be on her terms and conditions.
And I got news for you.
She's not planning sitting there waiting and say, listen, you know, select me at the convention.
And she's not going to take the position over another black woman.
She's not going to do that.
Interesting theory.
Charlie, can she ever recover?
Because I don't think she can.
No, Sean, she can't.
Look at the amount of reboots that her and her team have tried to do.
They've just tried to reboot her and rebuild her and doing whatever they can to sort of prop her up, but her approval ratings keep going down.
So, yeah, just like Leo said, the Democratic Party is stuck with her, and they're just hoping that Joe Biden can actually make it across the finish line because, you know, she'll never have to run another election.
If Joe Biden steps down and she's installed, then Democrats will be safe for another four years unless she gets impeached.
But I don't really see that happening.
Leo, last prediction.
Who's going to be on the ticket?
Who's going to win?
Okay, that's an easy one.
You know what?
For the Democrats, I don't know who's going to be the top person.
I'll say Gavin Newsome and Kamala Harris as the running mate because they're not going to dump her and on the winning ticket.
The winning ticket is going to be Donald Trump or Ann and Christy Noll, Elise Stefanik, or Byron Donald as the VP.
One of those three.
Wow.
Good predictions.
Anyway, I appreciate both of you.
Good luck with the book with Charlie Spearing, his new book, Amateur Hour Kamal Harris in the White House, Hannity.com, Amazon.com, bookstores around the country.
Thank you, sir.
All right, let's get to our phones as we say hi to John is in Long Island, New York.
What's up, John?
My old stomping ground, sir.
How are you?
Great, Sean.
How are you?
I'm doing well.
Doing well.
Glad it's Friday.
Always like Friday.
Friday's a good day.
Although I got to work tonight.
Hopefully you'll be watching.
And a lot of good football this week to look forward to.
What's on your mind?
Well, I told the producer that, you know, with Governor Newsome in California wanting to tax people leaving the state.
I know other people have said this, but I don't think it's being said enough.
This is what happened in Nazi Germany with Jewish people trying to flee.
Basically, they said, yeah, okay, you can leave, but you have to leave your wealth, your valuables behind.
And your homes, even.
Yes, exactly.
I think this should be, you know, shouted from the rooftops, if you will.
Well, I agree with everything that you're saying and the idea that they want to, it's not just that.
California is a proposal to tax people that are no longer residents for 10 years after they leave the state.
That's insane.
I don't even think that can be held.
I don't think that can hold in a court of law, even with liberal justices.
However, then the next step is these states want a wealth tax.
They want on top of all the taxes.
Remember, it was Andrew Cuomo.
1% of taxpayers in New York pay 50% of the taxes.
5% pay 60-some-odd percent.
And just 10% of people in New York, they pay the bulk of taxes, well over 75% of the taxes in New York.
Okay, he said, tax the rich, tax the rich, tax the rich.
God forbid the rich leave.
What happens?
And now this is what we're seeing.
They have assaulted success.
And that's what I was reading yesterday with the Argentinian president and the comments that he made at that idiotic globalist group, the World Economic Forum.
It's not going to work.
Capitalism is the answer.
Capitalism creates wealth.
Capitalism rewards the best behavior.
But most of these politicians want the power of controlling people's lives.
You've got to remember that.
You get the last word, John.
I don't know if you realize where I'm calling from.
It says Long Island, New York.
Yes, I'm out in East Hampton.
Okay.
The Hamptons.
And I was telling the producer, the food, the lines for the food pantry.
Food pantries are running out of food.
They're the longest lines I've ever seen.
And you will see high-end vehicles in this place.
Hey, when I was around the Oyster Bay area, I got calls often from the food pantry.
I said, anytime you're in trouble and you really need help, just always call me.
And they call me a number of times, and I always donate.
And, you know, and the people that were going there were working people, and they just couldn't pay their rent, their mortgage, their car payment, their kids' college.
By the way, you're out where Alec Baldwin, I believe, is selling his home, now indicted in the fatal rush shooting, involuntary manslaughter.
So that case has had a lot of twists and turns.
Anyway, my friend, hold down the fort.
I'm never coming back.
I'll come back to visit, but that's about it occasionally.
800-941 Sean, if you want to be a part of the program, we'll take a quick break.
We'll come back.
Our buddy John Rich on the other side as we continue.
You're on the Sean Hannity Show, a place where free speech and the First Amendment are still alive and well.
Get your dose of independence and liberty every weekday right here with Sean.
All right, 25 to the top of the hour.
Toll-free, our numbers, 800-941, Sean, if you want to be a part of the program.
By the way, just an update.
Alec Baldwin indicted on charges of involuntary manslaughter as prosecutors now seek to hold the actor accountable for the onset death of cinematographer Helena Hutchins.
He was initially charged in the case.
Those charges were dropped three months later after Baldwin's defense team raised questions about whether his Colt 45 was functioning properly when it fired.
Hutchins was preparing to film a scene with Baldwin at this ranch in Santa Fe, New Mexico when the gun went off.
Baldwin has maintained he did not pull the trigger.
If convicted, he faces up to 18 months in jail.
We look forward to our day in court said Baldwin's attorneys.
Anyway.
Anyway, joining us now, our friend John Rich and award-winning songwriter Angie Oparo.
I love the song, and I guess we can't put it up until it comes out on, you know, wherever you get your music, iTunes, Spotify, wherever it happens to be, Pandora.
Anyway, great song.
I understand you and John also have collaborated together in the past.
Is all that true?
I mean, it's really difficult to work with John Rich, right, Angie?
No, I wrote some songs with him and Big Kenny on the first record.
Yeah, no, he's great to work with.
You didn't write Save a Horse and Ride a Cowboy, did you?
I wish I did.
I wish I did.
I wish I did, too.
Anyway, welcome to the program.
John Rich, how are you, my brother?
Good to have you back.
Sean, happy Friday.
Thanks for having us on.
Actually, this song did come out today, Sean.
It came out today.
So we might have got our wires crossed there a little bit, but I just checked the iTunes chart.
A song's been out about five hours.
It's now in the top 40 all-genre on iTunes just in the past four hours.
But Sean, you're the first interview that we're doing.
And I have to thank you, man.
You have always been a champion behind independent artists, patriotic artists, everybody from Charlie Daniels to myself, and now an Angie Opero.
You always let your people hear our music, and we so much appreciate you.
Well, I appreciate you.
And you know how much I love music.
You know, it's interesting.
I work on TV.
I've worked on radio.
John, we've talked about this a lot.
Music and movies seem to touch people more deeply.
And maybe I'm wrong.
Look, I do know that if you're a Joe Biden supporter, you probably hate my guts, and I do bring out of people a certain emotion sometimes that's not healthy for my future.
If they ever see me, they're going to want to clobber me.
On the other hand, there are other people that are cheering what I have to say, but I don't make people cry.
I've watched you, you know, in your concerts singing certain songs that touch people's hearts in certain ways.
And man, they'll start crying right there in front of you and singing every word as you sing along.
You know, music is so powerful.
And I think in the history of our country, you can go back and see singer-songwriters, Bob Dylan, some of those guys back in the day.
I mean, they had a big part in honestly stopping the Vietnam War.
That's a real thing that happened.
And so now we're in this situation in 2024 that I believe music is as important as it ever has been.
This song, Free Man, by Angie Opero, first of all, you played a piece of it.
Thank you.
That voice is unlike anything I've ever heard or anybody else has ever heard.
He doesn't have a record deal.
He doesn't have any companies behind him.
He strictly is a solo guy, guitar and a voice.
And for you to play it, man, to all your listeners is such a huge deal.
This is the kind of song Americans want to hear, but the industry will not sign artists like Angie.
They won't put those songs out.
So God bless you for doing it.
God bless Angie Opero for having the guts to step up and put this out.
So they won't put your song out, Angie?
Why is that?
Well, I've been sort of out of it for a while.
You know, I kind of was in the rock genre, you know, for most of my life.
And I kind of went more solo in the last five years.
I just haven't had much success, you know, within the industry.
I don't know why, but I just feel there's so much power in a song.
And this one, for me, this one, it's crazy.
This song has a weird history.
I wrote it in 1985.
I was 24.
I'm really old.
And then I was able years later to play for Clive Davis in 99.
He started my career.
And then now 39 years later from the time I wrote it, John Rich, one of my best friends, is helping me put it out again.
My point is, is it resonates still?
And I think the battle, unfortunately, the battle for individual freedom is a constant battle throughout time.
And we see it.
I mean, and it's even, you know, even kids bullying each other or grown men enslaving other men.
I mean, pretty much bad, powerful people have always tried to control the weak.
And I think this song stirs an emotion that we're born with, with free will, freedom of speech.
I think all these things are our birthright, freedom.
Well, I will tell you that, you know, more and more Americans seemingly are rejecting or not even understanding the concept of freedom.
You know, one of the reasons I, my entire career, now 34 years in radio and 28 years of Fox, that I've never joined a boycott or called for a firing or a cancellation of anybody or a suspension even of anybody is because everybody has a choice.
They have the freedom to watch a show, listen to a show, or not watch or listen to a show.
They don't have to watch or listen to anything.
That's their choice.
That's their freedom.
So many Americans have been almost indoctrinated into thinking that the government's going to do everything for them.
And I think it's because people want someone else to take care of them when if they would just look within themselves, they have all the strength and all the power to do it, and they choose not to.
And that infuriates me, John Rich.
Yeah, it does.
I mean, you're laying it out, Sean, as always.
I think perseverance is probably one of the greatest traits of a true American, that we go through good times or go through bad times, but real patriotic people, real people that believe in the right to pursue happiness and inalienable right, they persevere.
And the reason I got behind this song, Free Man with Angie Opero, is because that's exactly what this man has done.
He's persevered whether he had a record deal or not.
This song at this particular moment in time, I believe, is an anthem, and it's something everybody needed to hear and be able to get their hands on.
It's important.
You know, sometimes it's the guys you never heard about that have the most talent.
Honestly, the record labels don't generally sound the people that are the most talented.
They sound the ones that are the most marketable in their opinion.
The real talent, though, is guys like Angie Apero, just a guy on a guitar and a piece of paper saying things that millions of people resonate with.
You know, what was the guy's name that came out with that song?
It was kind of became a phenomenon and wanted no part of any commercial success.
I know you spoke with him, John.
I forgot his name off the top of my head.
Oliver, Oliver Anthony.
Yeah, and by the way, I followed up a few times with him and checked in on what new music he's putting out.
I didn't particularly like his comments that were political.
He seemed to be trashing some of the very people that were drawn to his music, which didn't make a whole lot of sense to me and seems to be rejecting, understanding that too.
Although the guy's enormously gifted and talented, I think he could be a huge success.
And I think he could touch a lot of people's hearts with his message.
But, you know, I guess to each his own, right?
That's his choice.
Yeah, that's his choice.
And I think, you know, when it comes around to Angie Opero, I'll tell you a story, Sean, real quick.
I have Angie Opero in my will.
So if Angie lives longer than me, it's in my will that Angie Opero sings Amazing Grace at my funeral.
I'm going to pay for it.
Listen, it's not going to be hard.
I'll just head to the Redneck Rivi area and I'll just open up the bar and I'll just be giving everybody shots of whiskey.
Angie, did you ever hang with John Rich and party with John Rich?
Because if you have, that was a long, hard night and a tougher day the next day.
True or false?
Oh, yeah, we've had some really fun times on the road.
I probably didn't wake up for three days later, though.
I know this guy, I mean, and I have the ability to hang pretty much with anybody, except he's trying to force whiskey down my throat.
I'm not the biggest whiskey drinker.
You know, I do like Redneck Riviera whiskey, but that's not my drink of choice.
And I'm not a believer that you ever mix any alcohol.
If you start with one, if you start with beer, stick with beer.
If you start with wine, stick with wine.
If you start with vodka or whiskey, stick with it and don't switch.
But anyway, it's pretty amazing.
It's tribute to you, John Rich, you know, that you take this friend of yours.
You know, it's a very competitive business you're in, just like broadcasting.
Now, I'm at a point in my life, I don't begrudge anybody's success.
I don't have any desire for anybody to fail.
I've always been a believer that a rising tide lifts all boats.
The more successful other radio hosts are and the more successful other TV hosts are, I think that's better for me.
That's more people watching shows.
And that means that pool of viewership, listenership grows for me.
Maybe I wasn't that way earlier in my career because I thought, you know, I was just in a war to beat everybody, but I still mostly beat everybody.
But even without that, I do not begrudge people that work hard success.
I actually applaud it and celebrate it.
I agree.
You know, Angie Ipero here, he doesn't have a promotion team.
You're it.
You got me to put him on the show and I never met him before.
There you go.
That's what I'm saying.
You're the promotion team.
I am.
The people out there listening.
When you hear Freeman and you love it, you forward it on social media.
There's a guy named Kat Turd that we all know about now.
He got behind Angie in a major way a few months ago.
He's been blasting on Twitter.
Last I checked in the past four and a half hours now.
Angie, you're currently sitting at 36 on the iTunes overall genre chart, man.
So when's the last time you were top 40?
Wow.
It's amazing.
Well, after this show, I hope it's going to be number one, the song along with John Rich.
It's out today.
You can get it wherever you get your music where, I guess, iTunes, Pandora, you know, I guess everywhere, right, John?
Everywhere.
Everywhere you get your music, you can find Free Man, Angie Ipero.
All right, Free Man, Angie Ipero.
Angie, we can't wait to watch you go to number one.
I hope everyone downloads the song.
It's a great song, Free Man, and you sing it beautifully.
You really do.
Maybe you should go out with John Rich on the road a little bit and sing it with him.
I'm sure that his audience would love to hear it.
And I hope I'm not at John Rich's funeral hearing you sing Amazing Grace.
My guess is John Rich is going to be singing it at my funeral.
So anyway, thank you both, man.
Thank you, Sean.
All right, I appreciate it.
Hey, you can give your home.
All right, that's going to wrap things up for today.
We've got a great Hannity 9 Eastern, three days to New Hampshire.
Politico, by the way, Biden on Trump's Iowa victory.
I don't think it means anything.
Oh, really?
Okay, keep thinking that way, Joe.
Anyway, Trump leads, according to the Hill, Biden with independent voters by 11 points.
That's a big, big margin.
We're going to talk about, you know, Biden's five public events in just 27 days.
How is that possible?
The media mob now doing their job of the latest on Fannie Willis.
Anyway, Greg Jarrett, Jason Chaffetz.
Also tonight, Vivek Ramaswamy will come back with us.
We'll talk to him and about his candidacy and when he got all mad at me, Piers Morgan is on tonight.
He's always fun.
Alec Baldwin, charged with involuntary manslaughter, will follow that story.
Nine Eastern State DVR, Hannity on Fox.
Thanks for making this show possible.
We'll see you tonight.
Have a great weekend.
Back here Monday, actually back from a New Hampshire on Monday.
