When I told people, I was making a podcast about Benghazi.
Nine times out of ten, they called me a masochist, rolled their eyes, or just asked why.
Benghazi, the truth became a web of lies.
From Prologue Projects and Pushkin Industries, this is Fiasco Benghazi.
What difference at this point does it make?
Listen to Fiasco Benghazi on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Coming up next, our final news roundup and information overload hour.
Alright, news roundup and information overload hour.
Toll Free, let me give you our number.
It is 800-941 Sean if you want to be a part of the program.
One of the things that really angers me is the stupidity of the Biden administration, the left, the radical climate alarmists in general, their policies, they fail on every front.
Never mind, our borders are wide open.
Never mind, you know, we rely on countries that hate us for the lifeblood of our economy.
Uh never mind that, you know, this their defund, dismantle no bail laws has created chaos all over the country.
You know, never mind that I can't name a single successful thing that they have done since Joe Biden's been president.
And now we're looking at the world basically on fire, and and we have a guy that can't utter three sentences when he's on Air Force One.
I played it again last night.
Let me remind you, this is Joe Biden on Air Force One.
This is right after he left Israel.
He's only been on the ground, well, a little over six hours, if my memory serves me.
Uh, listen to how incoherent he is.
You talked about the impact of meeting the survivors and the first responders.
that's all for slow kite I spent an hour and a half about 17 or 18 before.
And I don't know how to say this.
Virtually every...
Mass shooting.
Every highly unlikely.
A different footprint and intercept a suit.
Anyway, and uh, so that's why if you notice we didn't say it first.
I think I wanted to make sure that I knew.
And look.
And I'm not suggesting that Hamas deliberately did it either.
That's that old thing.
And it's not the first time Hamas has something that function.
Very well.
That is the president of the United States of America.
How frightening is that.
It's scary.
It's unbelievable, 100 million dollars, and he's that stupid.
And what are you getting in exchange for that?
If you're gonna give them the 100 million, can we at least have all the hostages released?
I'm not a big believer in paying ransom for hostage, but apparently Joe is.
But he's getting nothing in exchange for 100 million dollars.
He's giving the money to Hamas.
Anyone that believes anything other than that is beyond naive.
Here's Biden saying the first shipment of humanitarian aid for Gaza is on its way.
President Metnao and I discussed again yesterday.
The critical need for Israel to operate by the laws of war.
That means protecting civilians in combat as best as they can.
And The people of Gaza urgently need food, water, and medicine.
Yesterday, in discussions with the leaders of Israel and Egypt, I secured an agreement for the first shipment of humanitarian assistance from the United Nations to Palestinian civilians in Gaza.
Hamas does not divert or steal this shipment, these shipments, we're going to provide an opening for sustained delivery of life-saving humanitarian assistance for the Palestinians.
And as soon as you stop looking, guess what they're going to do?
They're going to take that assistance and use that money for themselves.
anybody anyway somebody that really completely understands the nature of these situations uh you probably remember him as a guest on a number of times uh he is the founder of shadow warrior the shadow warriors project he's one of the survivors of benghazi you might not you might Remember the CIA annex that was not far from where the attacks uh on our embassy were taking place.
Remember, they were told to stand down multiple times, and then finally they said the hell with it, and they went anyway, risking their entire careers to do so.
And as a result, they saved innocent lives.
Mark Oz Geist is with us, and he's pretty familiar with Hamas and terrorist groups like Hezbollah, and he's very familiar with hostile regions in the Middle East, and has a lot to say on all of this.
I do, I do.
It's been a long time, but thank you, Sean, for having me.
All right, let's go over first of all of what what you went through, that you were given one stand down order after a stand down order after a stand down order, and you know that our that our embassy is under fire.
You have the ability to help rescue Americans, and they keep telling you not to do it.
Yeah, that's exactly it.
I mean, you know, we know what's going on over there, and we know that we are the only ones that can help.
And despite what it would cost us, we chose to go over and do that, and thank goodness we did, because if it wouldn't have been for that, there would have been a lot more um a lot more people that were e killed and injured that night.
I'm not sure anybody would have survived if if it hadn't been for the courage and bravery of you and and others, uh, and you did pay a heavy price at the time.
And it's it's so sad to me, but I'm so grateful that there are warriors like you out there.
All right, so you know a lot about Hamas, you know a lot about his Balah, you know that their aim is the destruction of Israel.
Uh it looks like this incursion is quite imminent, and it looks like it's gonna be a two-front war.
And then we have a big question mark on what the Iranians may or may not do.
I'm not sure how I'm not sure how to interpret their comment.
Well, your time is up.
Uh what does that mean?
They're threatening direct involvement themselves.
If they get involved, to me, all bets are off at that point.
Yeah, I agree.
I think uh what we're gonna see is uh if they get involved, I think we're where we'll see that first is in uh their own almost in their own backyard, their neighbor in Iraq, where we still have um quite a few troops that are uh working there.
I mean, we saw that um I believe it was yesterday.
We've seen and it's been reported that there were some drone attacks on our military basis, and there were some injuries, both in Iraq and in Syria, and that's what we're facing.
That's what it's gonna be, and with this government and this administration, um they can't do anything right, and they haven't yet.
Am I wrong in my analysis that any aid money, the hundred million dollars uh Biden is sending to uh Palestinian so-called, you know, the Palestinian people for humanitarian uh relief.
Am I wrong in my analysis?
There's no way in hell that money's getting to them.
That money's gonna end up in the hands of Hamas.
Am I wrong?
Oh, 100%.
I mean, if you want a great example of it, go back and I think what is it, the um 30 or four-year anniversary of uh Black Hawk Down.
The same thing happened under another democratic president, Bill Clinton, where we tried to give aid through the UN to monitor it and the warlords took it and did with what it did what they wanted with it and we're gonna see the same thing right here.
So you know firsthand you were involved in in a military in engagement to help evacuate church a church group from Bethlehem who are trapped after Hamas and and terrorists in Hamas erupted by using you know intel from contacts in the region as tourists you know were slamming the the State Department what can you tell us about that operation?
Yeah they I mean I gotta give the grace to the to Christ I mean he he put the he put the uh elements in place that we could use and um I got called by a friend whose sister was a part of that group and they were told by the State Department that uh on Saturday evening or Sunday morning that they should just stay in place.
There's no emergency.
Wait until we call you.
And it sounded eerily familiar to me.
So I had told him I will do what I can.
I contacted some contacts that I have that are in Israel, got some on-ground intel, gave the group information on how to get out.
We checked on the, finding out which border crossing into Jordan would be best because they were getting information that, and we verified it, that the airport in Tel Aviv was closing down or limiting the flights in and out.
And even if they would have got there, there was no guarantee they could have flown out and it would be untargeted.
So I made this suggestion to them, you know, we've got a place that you can get across.
Why don't you go do that?
And they were able to get to the border.
I think they were stuck there for probably five or six hours because of the number of other people crossing and they were able to get across and into Amon Jordan on uh Tuesday morning.
All right quick break more with Mark Oz Geist uh the founder of the Shadow Warriors Project one of the survivors and heroes uh that helped save lives on September 11, 2012, uh in Benghazi, just a great guy.
Listen, the world is a very dangerous it's a very evil place.
What is your plan if God forbid somebody wants to bring harm to you or your family breaks into your house what what options do you have?
Now I have a personal security plan that is very extensive.
I've had a a pistol carry permit my entire adult life but that's the lethal option now that I have a non-lethal option you know what that has become a big part of my strategy my my personal security strategies also and I'm talking about burner BYRNA dot com.
It's a non-lethal launcher and the best part is it's legal in all 50 states.
It doesn't require a permit or a background check and let me tell you something it it delivers what is a formidable amount of power that stops the attackers right there in their tracks.
I knew they just came out with a new rifle that is just phenomenal.
I had an opportunity to actually train with with some special forces guys uh we're gonna put some of that video on the burner website.
I love this product.
I I wish every police officer in the country every law enforcement officer in the country had this option and we'll continue.
Hey there I'm Mary Catherine Hamm.
And I'm Carol Markovitz we've been in political media for a long time long enough to know that it's gotten well a little insane.
That's why we started normally a podcast for people who are over the hysteria and just want clarity.
We talk about the issues that actually matter to the country without panic without yelling and with a healthy dose of humor.
We don't take ourselves too seriously but we do take the truth seriously.
So if you're into common sense sanity and some occasional SAS.
You're our kind of people catch new episodes of normally every Tuesday and Thursday on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts or wherever you listen I'm Ben Ferguson and I'm Ted Cruz three times a week we do our podcast Verdict with Ted Cruz nationwide we have millions of listeners every Monday Wednesday and Friday we break down the news and bring you behind the scenes inside the White House inside the Senate inside the United States Supreme Court.

What I told people, I was making a podcast about Benghazi.
Nine times out of ten, they called me a masochist, rolled their eyes, or just asked why.
Benghazi, the truth became a web of lies.
It's almost a dirty word, one that connotes conspiracy theory.
Will we ever get the truth about the Benghazi massacre?
Bad faith, political warfare, and frankly, bullshit.
We kill the ambassador just to cover something up.
You put two and two together.
Was it an overblown distraction or a sinister conspiracy?
Benghazi is a rosetta stone for everything that's been going on for the last 20 years.
I'm Leon Nafok from Prologue Projects and Pushkin Industries.
This is Fiasco Benghazi.
What difference at this point does it make?
Yeah, that's right.
Locker up.

All right, we continue.
Mark Oz Geist is with us.
He is the founder of the Shadow Warriors Project, also one of the survivors of Benghazi, one of the people that was at the annex uh that was adjacent to where the embassy was, and he ended up being a hero saving many lives that day.
That goes back to September 11, 2012.
You know, I thought it was bad when we abandoned uh Americans behind enemy lines in Afghanistan because Joe Biden uh foolishly allowed the Taliban, you know, to march all the way up from the south to the north and then surround Karzai International Airport.
I thought that was a disaster.
That's when we lost 13 American lives there.
Uh, and then Americans in the end were abandoned uh before they got them out because of such poor planning and execution by Joe and and the people around him, although he claims it was such a great success, it was anything but a success.
Um, I thought that was that was bad enough.
And we also abandoned our allies that had been supporting our efforts in Afghanistan for two decades, and many of those people have ended up dead because Joe abandoned them on top of the billions and billions of military equipment that he left behind, uh, some of which we think might be being used by terror groups around the world.
And anyway, uh, and you know, a lot of those people were killed, another another broken promise.
Uh now you have governors like Ron DeSantis have had to step up because the Biden administration uh was telling people Americans on the ground in Israel, those that weren't killed or taken hostage, uh, that wanted to get the hell out of there, uh, you know, to you know, get a commercial flight when there were no commercial flights leaving.
And then when they finally decided the administration finally decided that, okay, well, they would charter planes and try and get some Americans out, then they're charging it charging people for their flight home.
You know, Ron DeSantis set planes for Floridians, and he didn't charge them a penny.
He did it because it was the right thing to do.
You know, I'm sure there were empty seats on Air Force One this week that remained empty, and he could have put Americans on that plane on the way home also.
He didn't do that either.
No, he didn't.
And that would have been that could have been one of the better things that he did do.
But um, you know, and Corey Mills uh is in country.
He had the flight coming out um Monday, there was a chartered flight that he was able to get out as well as uh Operation Dynamo, um Tim Kennedy and his organization SOA, which is Save Our Allies is working in uh in and around um Israel to get other to get Americans out.
And it's unfortunate that it's come to this point in our history that nonprofit organizations are doing a better job under this current administration than they can do themselves.
Corey's been kicking ass.
We had him on the program yesterday, and he's got nearly a hundred people out already.
I mean, he's he's crushing it.
You know, it's amazing what smart, brave people like Corey and and yourself are able to do.
Uh we really appreciate you being with us uh Mark.
I I always enjoyed our time together.
I mean, for a period there I thought you were going to be my co-host.
I you know.
But uh I think the work you're doing is a lot more important than than what I'm doing here.
But we appreciate you always.
I hope you know that.
No, I don't think so.
I think that uh it's all of us that are doing everything that we can.
You know, the Lord gives us the opportunity to do what we need to do in the space that we're designed to work in, and it's all important to take care of this country.
Look, I'm getting fired upon every day, but it's not with bullets, the the stuff you're getting fired upon with.
I'm just getting verbal attacks and and lies and propaganda misinformation.
I I think it's a lot safer doing what I'm doing, but I admire you guys, all of you guys so much, and I'm very appreciative that we have such courageous people that uh are our fellow Americans.
So thank you, my friend.
My best to everybody as well.
You too, thank you, and God bless.
And uh if I can't do I have a second um Shadow Warriors Project is raising money to help all these other organizations.
So if people are out there that want to help donate, um, if they can, that would be great if not their prayers for all the Americans that are around the world and in the Middle East, because if this goes as bad as it could, um we're gonna be needing a lot more people doing what we're doing to help Americans across this uh they don't what's what's the website?
Shadow Warriors Project.org.
Oh, 25 to the top of the hour.
A lot of your calls coming up straight ahead.
Toll free it's 800, 941 Sean on this Friday, if you want to be a part of the program.
You know, there are some people that have blown me away in life um by their faith.
And and I obviously I'm a believer, I don't hide it.
I'm a Christian, I'm the Christian that needs saving.
I'm not the Christian that claim, you know, no Christian but it's a that's the a fallacy that the mob in the media tries to you know present that oh, Christians think they're perfect.
No, actually, uh the first thing as a Christian is you have to admit that you're a sinner and that you're not living the way you should be living, and you ask God to help you become a better person.
And you ask forgiveness.
And and and that's the real heart of Christianity.
But I've met so many really, you know, really wonderful people that have amazing, deep and abiding faith.
And you know, at certain times of my life, there have been people that I've you know looked to that I think are just the real deal in terms of their faith and their Christianity, and out of nowhere they give me phone calls.
You know, one was Jerry Falwell Sr.
I I couldn't believe it.
Liberty University, Jerry Sr.
And Thomas Rhodes Baptist Church.
And, you know, for example, there was a a moment when a Catholic priest I was debating, by the way, who was later arrested years later, ironically, um, I said, Well, for people that are not believers, I'd rather they use birth control than have an abortion.
That's all I said.
Wasn't even I wasn't talking about members of the church.
I was talking about members that weren't a member of the church.
And he comes on the air and and you know, with his great sanctimony and tells me, Well, you ever come to my church, I wouldn't give you communion.
I got a call from my pastor the next day, and I got a call from Jerry Falwell, who said, You're welcome to my church any time.
Other times he'd call me, usually kind of at the right moment, and just say, I just woke up this morning, was thinking about you, and I'm praying for you.
I'm like, huh?
I, you know, growing up Catholic, that's it it didn't happen so much, and I'm more of a non-denominational Christian today.
Um Michael W. Smith has done the same thing.
And I'll tell you another uh person that did it is then vice president Mike Pence.
It's you know, it's all over the news for something and having a crappy day.
And he calls me, just says, you know, Karen and I are praying for you.
And I'm like, you know, that kind of to take time as a vice president and a you know, second lady of our country to make that call to you know, a talk show host, it it was very impactful to me.
Um so their faith is real and they live it out every day, and and I've always known that about both uh Mike Pence and Karen Pence, and Karen is joining us now.
She wrote a new book.
It's called When It's Your Turn to Serve, experiencing God's grace in his calling for your life.
And I I mean it's one of those books that really, you know, gives you strength as we all of us are challenged in life.
All of us face difficulties in life.
All of us, uh there's nobody that goes through this life, I say it all the time, unscathed.
You know, and I think that's the way God designed it.
That's my own personal belief.
And anyway, Karen Pence joins us now.
Uh I hope this becomes a bestseller.
It's uh when it's your turn to serve, experiencing God's grace in his calling uh for your life.
It's on Amazon.com.
We're putting it up on Hannity.com now in bookstores around the country.
Uh how are you?
Great that great to have you on.
It's you know, it's great to be on, Sean.
Thanks for talking about the book because, you know, as you were leading into this interview, uh I wanted the book to be an encouragement to the reader.
I mean, that's I feel like my gift is an encourager, and I wanted the reader to hear some of the behind the scenes stories, some of the great things that I got to do as First Lady of Indiana and second lady of the United States, but to see it as maybe uh something to encourage them in their own walk,
in their own uh opportunities to serve, to to go ahead and step out and and if God is calling you to something, he's going to give you that grace to carry you through.
And and one of the verses I talk about is in Jonah, you know, those that cling to worthless idols forfeit the grace that could be theirs.
And and he showed me grace all the way through our political career.
Even now, I'm I feel like he's calling us to step up to serve one more time, and there's a joy and there's a peace in answering his call.
You know, it it's never easy being in the public eye.
It just isn't.
But you rightly point out in in the book um that life is full of these unexpected obstacles.
I mean, I feel like every day I'm I am dodging left, I'm dodging right, you know, I w whatever the whatever the challenge of the day is.
And I would say this if two things I believe have kept me halfway grounded.
I don't want to say I'm grounded, but it's really been really good for me in my life.
One was the fact that I worked 20 years in either the restaurant business or the construction business.
And the second thing is, or maybe it's really should be the first one, is my belief in God and the fact that I have a conscience that convicts me I know darn well what I'm doing wrong, Karen.
Mm-hmm.
Well, and one thing I just I wanted the the the reader to feel like, you know, it doesn't have to be serving as second lady of the United States.
God might just be calling you to reach out to a neighbor.
Uh He might be calling you to, you know, serve on the PTA at school or or maybe uh a neighborhood organizational uh opportunity to set up a block party or something.
I mean, I try and say in the book, you know, God sometimes has used me in mighty ways and sometimes in not so mighty ways, but each time he calls us to serve him, that if we step up, he gives us that grace.
And um so many things I would have missed if I hadn't been willing to take that risk and to step out and to answer his call.
And in the book, I just the book I gotta tell you, Sean, the book is very uplifting.
It's very encouraging.
It's meant to be a book that you it it's a light read.
It's got interesting behind the scenes stories, tells about art therapy and military spouses.
I do weave uh honey bees all the way through the book because I had the privilege of starting a beehive in the governor's residence and at the vice president's residence.
And so I love to kind of weave in little facts about the bees and stories about visiting bees all over the world, uh just throughout the book.
So it's very uplifting and um just it just inspiring kind of book.
You know, it's amazing.
Uh uh did you get stung a lot?
Uh because I've I've never never it's amazing.
But you know, they actually especially if you have allergies like I do.
Um let me tell you, when you take local local honey, it really is helpful.
But you know, uh like I just think of the moment that I mentioned, you know, here you are, you know, your husband's the vice president of the United States, you know, former first lady of Indiana, second lady of the United States, you guys are busy.
You know, you really had no business taking the time to call a talk show host 'cause you thought he was having a really bad day.
And I was, by the way, but you know, I just it that kind of kindness just means a lot to me.
And I try to d I try to do it to others.
If I know somebody, what if they got a cancer diagnosis or they lost a loved one?
I I always will find time that day to try and reach out to those people.
And it's those little nudgings that I kind of talk about, you know, when the Holy Spirit kind of nudges you to, okay, yes, you're you're a very busy person, you maybe need to be going over here and doing this right now, but take five minutes, give Sean Hannity a call.
Uh, you know, just uh encourage him today.
And it's those kind of things that I just encourage the reader to to listen and take a moment and uh hear his calling.
The funny thing is you mentioned the bees.
Uh uh y if your publisher put out a piece of paper on your new book that I read and it just cracked me up.
Yeah, Karen Pence would much rather talk about beekeeping than politics.
And by the way, I don't blame you because politics is one ugly dark business.
Oh, well, we're having a lot of fun on the campaign trail, I have to tell you.
I mean, people are wonderful.
Especially right now, the people in Iowa and New Hampshire have just been By the way, some of them are not so wonderful.
You're being way too kind.
Oh that's okay though.
I mean, people who protest or say things, that's what freedom looks like, Sean.
I mean, that's what we're trying to preserve in our country, you know.
We're trying to preserve those freedoms that our country was founded on.
So we actually are having Mike and I are having so much fun.
Well, I I know, and let me tell you, it's not easy to be in the political uh arena.
It's it's a it's a hard life.
It really is.
And you guys have both, you know, I love your personal story.
Uh I you guys have set up, you know, uh I know Governor Pence is never has meetings alone, for example, with women, correct?
Right.
Yeah.
To protect the women as well.
So I mean, you know, he people hear that story and they think, oh my goodness, but they don't understand that Mike has so many women always on his staff.
Um he's he had a woman as his lieutenant governor when he was governor.
And he it's also a protection for the women.
So um it it's kind of a a two prong thing for him.
But um you know, honestly though, it's it's just what I'm saying in the book.
When you are answering that call, as hard as politics is, there is a piece, Sean, that you have when you feel like, okay, this is where I'm supposed to be for right now, and right now you're supposed to be on the campaign trail.
So I can I put a little plug in, Mike Pence, 2024.com.
Of course, no problem.
Well I I I urge people to get the book.
Uh we'll but put a link on Hannity dot com and obviously it's on Amazon.com now on bookstores around the country.
And you know, people do need hope.
This this is a really hard time for a lot of families, and it breaks my heart because I've been there.
I've lived paycheck to paycheck for far many years in my early adult life.
I didn't love it.
Um when it's your turn to serve, experiencing God's grace in his calling for your life.
Uh I I wish you the best with that.
Uh think the world of you both.
I think you're both crazy to stay in politics.
However, I admire everybody stepping up and being willing to serve, and that's what it is, it's service.
That's right.
That's right.
And yeah, and by the way, and you have a son in the military.
Pray for him, too.
We do, a son and a son-in-law, both pilots.
One in the Navy, one the Marine Corps.
Yep.
Amazing people.
And we owe so much to them, and we don't give enough thought to what they do to protect us every day.
Uh Karen, great to talk to you.
Karen Pence, thank you.
Thanks, Sean.
We'll see you soon.
See you soon on the campaign trail, I'm sure.
Great to see you the other night, eight hundred nine four one Sean, our number.
You want to be a part of the program.
Uh Jeff in Arizona.
What's up, Jeff?
I know it's a dry heat, you say in the summertime.
It's not it's a insufferable heat in the summertime.
I can't breathe when I'm out there in the summertime.
130 degrees.
Jeez.
It's starting to pass, Sean, so uh I'm grateful for that.
Man, that's rough.
I remember doing an event with J.D. Hayworth.
Oh, it's the dry heat.
I'm like, I can't breathe a dry heat.
You have an oxygen tank or what?
No, I don't have any of that.
What's on your mind?
Expression of if I may comment, your ex your own expression of faith is extremely powerful.
And I hope you do that a little more frequently than you do.
Your interview with uh with uh Mrs. Pence was terrific.
And uh I just love that.
So my main uh reason for calling was about the uh the uh uh the program the other night regarding the you know the uh the interviews with the various uh people who are campaigning for president.
Let me make the first comment is I think that the uh the uh behavior it uh that was exhibited by several of them was substantially less than presidential and certainly almost not adult.
So I was very disappointed in that.
My main reason for calling was about your interview with Gavin Pence.
Not Gavin.
Uh Gavin Gavin Newsom, yeah.
You mean the one after in that the debate or what?
No, the one that happened at after the debate.
Okay, yeah.
What about it?
Comment is this you have extraordinary patience for letting people, whatever they're ilk, express their own views, and you are very careful to give them wide birth.
My only comment is it appropriate for some of these interviews that you do when they should be getting six or seven Pinocchios because of the extraordinary length that people uh Jimmy, the facts that they're trying that you may be able to find the numbers that will you know support what they're trying to say, but they are such an extreme sort of exaggeration of the facts or perversion of the facts, shall I say.
Yeah, I I hear what you say.
I'm just looking at the clock.
Uh, my only quick response is remember, people watching are smart.
And I kept challenging him on the things he was saying, too, but in the end of the day, they get it.
They do.
All right, ammo's in short supply.
Uh, you may not know this.

Do you have a security plan?
What if somebody breaks into your house, your business, whatever, and they want to bring harm to you and your family.
Now, you know I'm a big Second Amendment proponent.
